Jungkook decided he was going to see if he could jump over your couch and land perfectly in a seated position.

"Wait, wait, wait. Absolute silence everybody." He says as he's stretched over, trying to estimate the timing and height of his jump. He had always been super athletic and competitive since you two were small, so there was really no changing his mind on this. He always had to prove something, even if that meant creating his own competition of jumping over the couch.

"It's just me and you." You watched him from the kitchen, making sure the pizza in the oven was baking properly.

"I have an audience, okay? Don't be rude, Y/N." He says as he points over to the fake audience clapping and laughing during a 'Friends' episode.

"Whatever, as long as you don't go breaking my shit, Jeon Jungkook." He was 22, but his mentality was 8. That was for damn sure.

"Siiiiiiilence." He says at a whisper, his eyes shut as he puts a finger to his mouth. He lets out a huff and a puff before he gets the courage to throw himself over the couch and land a perfect landing. "And once again, he sticks the landing!" He stands up with his hands up in the air.

"You're annoying." You laughed, getting paper plates ready for the pizza that was about to be done because you were in no mood to do any dishes tonight.

"Thank you! I'll be here again tomorrow, same time." He calls out to his fake audience.

"No the hell you're not."

"Ouch, nevermind. Someone apparently doesn't want me here." You laugh at how dramatic he is. At this point, you just let him be because that was something you always loved about your bestfriend. He embraced the kid in him and always brought good times. You had similarities, but you also had some major differences. You liked being in your comfort zone & you were labeled the innocent nerd amongst your friends. You just like to consider yourself simple, though. A 'take it day by day' kind of person. Kookie was fun, adventurous and childish at times. He was also shy, but loud at the same time? An introverted extrovert, you could say.

But you loved each other nonetheless, that's why you've clicked so well since you were young. You taught each other things & grew together.

"Here, fool." You placed the pizza in front of him with the paper plates.

"Set it up, I'll grab us the drinks. You want anything in particular?"

"That bottle of Stella Rosa, please." JK knew you loved that Stella Rosa, so he happily grabs the bottle and two wine glasses. He plops back next to you on the couch, pouring your glasses and grabbing a heaping serving of 4 slices of pizza.

You both decided you want a good laugh, so you throw on Kevin Hart's newest installment: Zero Fucks Given. It isn't long before you both are rolling on the floor, almost gasping for air at how much you're laughing at Kevin Hart's stand up. The pizza is gone, the wine is gone, and you're still feeling pretty tipsy. The whole thing sounds nice, until your head starts to wonder what Taehyung is doing and if he'll text you to come over tonight. You know he probably already has plans with another chick though, and that hits you.

Curse this fucking alcohol.

Let's get this straight - the only time you 'talk' is when he's trying to fuck.

And yes bitch, you let him do this to you. You're out that door before you can even fully slip your shoes on. Dick is just that good. It's something about Taehyung that makes you addicted. The way he gives you a stupid ass smirk when he opens his door, the way he touches your skin and gently lays his shit on you until you both become really invested in the moment. So invested that shit hits the roof. It gets messy. It gets rough. It becomes unspeakable.

You aren't friends. No one knows about you two, or that you even know the other exists. You don't know shit about each other. The only thing you know is that he's fucking other girls. He has a whole roster, you'd imagine - a starting five, at least.

He doesn't care about you, and for the most part, you don't either. At least, that's what you like to portray because it's been some months now since this whole thing started and you can't help but feel some kind of emotional tie to him. You're leaving your house between 12-2am in the morning and sleeping in his bed until 6-7am. It's a routine; a routine you've become used to. You skip out on some late night kick-its with your friends cause you anticipate a text to come through from him.

But, he doesn't care. You aren't the only female slipping into those sheets, and boy does it fucking make it hard to swallow. Reality hits hard when you think about it and you feel this huge pit in your stomach. You try to be different, you try to stand out one way or another. But it doesn't work that way. You knew what this entailed going into it, so it makes zero sense as to why you're hurting and getting jealous from time to time.

You know it still doesn't matter to him.

He's only fucking you over cause you let him. You know damn well you're not gonna change and let this go, though. You love thrill of it too much. It's the most thrill your life has had. You're not perfect and you're only human. You make mistakes, but this one definitely puts the cherry on top. Because not only do you refuse to learn, but you let it repeat itself over and over again.

"Aishhhh, my stomach hurts from laughing too much." Jungkook laid his head back and patted his belly. "But that was good though. I needed that."

"Yeah it was. Thanks for coming by to watch that with me, Kook." He tilts his head over to look at you and smiles.

"Sure thing." He checks his phone and sits up. "Yoongi is blowing up the group chat." You check your phone to see multiple unread messages from none other than Min Yoongi himself.

[yoongi] 10:45pm: all of a sudden, everyone is ghost in this group chat?! you all had a lot to say not too long ago.

[yoongi] 10:52pm: even though you guys are fake as fuck, does anyone wanna come with me to the bars tonight? meet at my place so we can head out.

You and Jungkook laughed at how butthurt Yoongi was in the groupchat. Yoongi definitely was the most serious and blunt one in your group, but he still liked to party and have a good time. It was just how he was. Hoseok was always full of energy and probably the most extroverted one out of all 4 of you. He was never shy. You and Jungkook met Yoongi and Hoseok your first year in college and became inseparable ever since. You all just click with your different attributes.

"Perhaps." Jungkook shrugged before putting on his shoes. "We shall see." he sighs before giving you a tight hug. "You sure you don't wanna come out?"

"Nope."

"You don't even have plans tonight."

"Laying in bed." Jungkook snorted as you shook your head and shrugged. What else did he think you were trying to do? He should know you by now, at the very least.

"Alright, I'm not even going to argue. I'm off."

"Be safe, have fun, text me if you both need anything, okay?" He nods as he shuts the door, leaving you to your lonesome. You swirled the teeny tiny drop of wine leftover in your glass around before picking up your phone.

Jin was the biggest role model for you because he was the first to defy your family's wants and wishes. He was the black sheep of the family with a huge 'I don't give a fuck' mentality and he taught you that along the way.

And so, that's what you did. You got yourself all ready for bed, believing you wouldn't be leaving your house tonight. You pampered yourself, put on a face mask and got yourself all lathered up in lotion just to lay down. You're scrolling through your Instagram feed, seeing Jungkook's newly posted story with him and Yoongi already at the bars, acting a damn fool. You laughed at the video he took of Yoongi trying to dance in a tight, awkward space on the crowded dance floor even though he was never the best at dancing. It lowkey made you wish you went out with them so you wouldn't be stuck here thinking about your feelings and how lonely these hours get.

And then you see Jimin's story from an hour ago. He knew you were friends with Yoongi, and although Yoongi wasn't fond of their group too much, he was still an avid party-goer and mingled with people there. You've only spoken to Jimin once because you had to work with him in the same group on a class assignment. You tried to keep it that way though because he was Taehyung's bestfriend. They went everywhere together, did everything together. He, too, was very popular among the ladies and across campus. I guess it was just their thing.

You assume they were at a party cause Jimin quickly flashes the camera at Taehyung, who's in front of him getting a lapdance from some chick. Jimin quickly turns the camera back to his face as he's laughing uncontrollably then abruptly cuts it off.

You set your phone down on the night stand and put on a show on your laptop to help you fall asleep.

Just as you're about to get some shut eye, your phone vibrates. You let it slip at first because you thought it could be one of the guys playing around, but it vibrates again, signaling another text coming through. You pick up your phone just to make sure Yoongi and Jungkook aren't in any trouble and need you to bail their asses out.

Daichi was pleased with the result but he would never admit that. He saw how you and Tsukishima became closer, what began in endless bickering evolved into small chit chats, and he was a proud dad

It was the end of the MSBY vs Adlers match, and you, together with your batchmates decided to drink after to catch up with one another.

It’s been so long since you guys got together like this. So much untold stories from Hinata’s trip to Brazil, Making fun of Kageyama’s awkward commercials, and of course the story of how Yamaguchi and Yachi got together.

As much as Tsukishima protested, he couldn’t deny that he missed hanging out like this. So much has changed in a small amount of time… except for one.

You were drinking to your heart’s content, naive of the consequences you were about to face the next day. He laughed at the drooling mess beside him and sighed. He brushed the stray hair on your face and smiled.

“I forgot to ask!” Hinata shouted from the other side of the table. “Have you ever confessed t-“ he was cut by Kageyama’s hand covering his mouth. Tsukishima glared at the ginger headed male before standing up. “We’ll be going first.” He dragged your body to stand, before carrying you on his back.

Your head rested on his shoulder as he carried you to his car. The smell of his cologne made your lips curl into a smile before nuzzling your head on his neck. “Thank you, Tsukki. i wuv yyyuuuuuu!!! youuur the bestttt” your words slurred before fully passing out. He clicked his tongue and chuckled lightly. “You’re a pain in the ass you know that?” he looked back at you, seeing how peaceful you were, letting out soft snores, before letting a smile adorn on his face.

IWAIZUMI

You recently moved from Tokyo after your father was reassigned to work in Miyagi

Being an alumnus of Aoba Johsai, he enrolled you there for your third year

Everything was going smooth. Your movers arrived on time, you easily unpacked your furniture, and you had everything you needed to face the new environment you were about to enter

However, what your father forgot to mention was that Aoba Johsai was HUGE

Hence, what would a new transferee like yourself have to go through? of course, Get lost i the vicinity

You applauded yourself mentally for thinking ahead and left for school early or else you would be late on your first day

After dozens of twists and turns you finally reached your classroom

Your homeroom teacher entered and instructed you to introduce yourself in front of the class “Hi, My name is l/n y/n. I transferred here from Nekoma. I hope we could get along.” you ended your introduction with a bow before returning to your seat.

“Thank you. L/n and Iwaizumi, I would like to speak to you both after class.” He stated before continuing with his announcements.

You didn’t know anyone in your school and you couldn’t help but wonder what your teacher wanted to talk to you about with Iwaizumi.

After class, you turn your head to where Iwaizumi was seated to see him asleep on his desk.

“Iwaizumi-san?” you poked his shoulder, trying to wake him up. Take note of the word: “Trying” because it seemed like you wouldn’t succeed with just a mere poke.

He must’ve been tired for him to fall asleep like this. Having no choice, you grabbed both of his shoulders and started shaking him. His body jolted and raised his head from the desk and gave you a confused look. You simply smiled at his reaction and told him how both of you were instructed to meet with your professor after class.

His cheeks slightly flushed in embarrassment for forgetting and for making you wake him up.

In the office, your teacher told Iwaizumi to show you around campus so that you wouldn’t have to get lost next time.

You tried to decline, feeling guilty for making Iwaizumi show you around but despite your attempts to politely decline, Iwaizumi faced you and gave you a gentle smile. “It’s alright. I don’t have practice today anyway. Come on.” He turned his back and walked toward the exit.

However, you were glued there and couldn’t utter a word. You suddenly feel a hand grab yours and pulled you along.

When the both of you exited the office, Iwaizumi let go of your hand and walked ahead, glancing back at you every once in a while to make sure you were following him.

He walked by your side and toured you around the school, telling you facts and what he called “survival” tips. (Tip#1: Never fall for Oikawa. Who was that? you didn’t know. What does it have to do with you? again, you didn’t know fjsjbfjd)

sometimes your hands brush against each other and sometimes he would put an arm around your shoulder bringing you closer when you pass through places with huge crowds.

He explained to you that he didn’t want you to get lost and you let him continue because somehow… even if it’s just your first day, you might just have made your first (crush) friend

KONOHA

You had been together with Konoha for almost 6 years now. A relationship which bloomed and nurtured from middle school until high school

Despite being a year younger than him, his childish antics proved that maybe, just maybe, you were older than him in terms of maturity

He begged you to become a manager right after you became a 1st year in Fukurodani and not missing a chance to spend time with your boyfriend, you agreed.

Both of you were busy with Finals and the volleyball competitions ahead but that didn’t stop you from spending time with your boyfriend. You’re relationship was past the point of fussing over the small issues. You both were in sync with one another and the both of you learned how to handle problems that would occasionally arise.

Everything became a routine. You would spend your breaks with Konoha and the volleyball team, study after classes before training starts, and walk home together after trainings.

Although lately, you’ve been spending time with each other less. Sure, you and Konoha would study in the library together but that was it. You wondered why he would suddenly bail on you without a word, you wondered why he insisted on letting you go home first, and why he would reply late to your texts.

You understood that maybe he was just busy but the stress you were feeling about school was starting to take its toll on you

Your emotions began to heighten. You were feeling lonely and sad, realizing that maybe the spark between you and your boyfriend was slowly fading. That maybe he found someone better. You began feeling insecure, letting your mind wander over every possible scenario about what would happen next. Is this really how your love will end?

You began to shut out everyone. You barely replied to Konoha, you spoke only in a few sentences, and at times, you couldn’t even spare him a glance.

You didn’t want anyone to think you were petty so you opted to keep everything to yourself. It didn’t bother you anymore that you were spending less and less time with Konoha. Instead of feeling hurt, you felt numb.

Little did you know everything was about to change

“l/n-san.” Fukorodani’s setter and your best friend, Akaashi tapped your shoulder. “Hm?” you answered while continuing your homework on the bench without looking at him. “l/n-san.” he repeated. You dropped your pencil to look at him. “Yes?”

“Konoha-san…” he trailed off. “Huh? What happened to Akinori?” you deadpanned. “He fainted. He’s in the infirma-” you rushed to the infirmary, cutting Akaashi off mid-sentence. A surge of concern suddenly filled you and your heart began beating rapidly.

Upon reaching the infirmary door, you slid it open only to notice the lights turned off. You flicked it on and saw no one at the desk. You entered slowly and walked further into the room, scanning the beds, looking for Konoha. At the end of the room, there you saw him. Sitting down, staring at the wall in front of him.

He didn’t seem to notice you enter as you sat yourself down beside him. “Hey Akaashi told me you fainted. Are you okay?” you hesitantly placed your hand on his. “Are you mad at me?” he whispered, eyes still on the wall. “I wouldn’t say I was mad… maybe a little hurt and I felt that you were shutting me out…I didn’t even know what you were up to… What’s up with you lately?” you answered.

“I’m sorry. I just…” he faced you and placed his free hand on your cheek, caressing it. “I didn’t know you felt that way. I was just busy, that’s all.” you leaned into his touch, unaware that you really did miss him. “It’s okay, I understand. What were you busy with? Maybe I could help…” you stared back at him. “I’m not sure if you could” he answered awkwardly while rubbing the back of his neck. “I understand, excuse me” you stood up and feeling your eyes starting to tear up.

Suddenly, you felt upset. What could he be doing that even you couldn’t help with? You were about to turn the doorknob when you felt a familiar warmth grasp your wrist. “Babe…” you muttered, tears slowly streaming down your face. You faced him with your tear-stained face and smiled.

He felt guilty for having to tell you this way. He didn’t want to do it this way but he didn’t have any other choice. “Listen to me, okay?” He grabbed both of your cheeks in his hands, making you look at him. You stared at him and nodded.

“I’m so sorry for hurting you the for the past weeks… I wanted to surprise you that was all.” he cooed before releasing your cheeks. He rummaged something in his blazer and took out a small box. “This isn’t anything fancy but I’m graduating soon, and I have to wait a year before being in the same campus as you again. Y/n, I don’t know what I would do without you in my life. I loved you in the past, I love you in the present, and I will always love you in the future. Will you marry me?”

You couldn’t help but nod as the room filled with the sound of your sobs and your sniffles. Konoha hugged you tenderly and kissed you. “I love you” you replied.

MASTERLIST

To say Isaac Lahey looked like he’d been beaten to a pulp would have been a colossal understatement. The boy practically limped into school the day after his father demonstrated his dissatisfaction for his youngest son after attending his parent teacher meeting.

It’d been a long night of taking punches, kicks and insults that would plague Isaac’s mind for weeks to come. His voice was raw from screaming to be released from the freezer he’d been locked in after his father grew bored of inflicting pain physically. Deciding psychological pain was just as good as physical pain, his father left him to think about his inferiority for an entire night, only letting him out an hour before he was due to start school.

His lip still dripped scarlet as he walked the halls, both eyes black and ever so slightly swollen and so very tired looking. His steps were taken shakily. It didn’t take him long to notice you standing by his locker, waiting for him as usual. Usually when his eyes flickered over you his body would fill with relief. But after remembering how upset you’d been in your car the day before he found his relief being replaced by guilt and dread.

Isaac ducked his head, he did this purely to avoid your eyes. He still made his way towards you nonetheless.

The first thing to hit you was the scent of blood. Fresh and warm and right from the source, you could tell- you weren’t sure how you could tell but you just knew. You lifted your eyes from the floor. You wished you hadn’t when your eyes landed on Isaac, hobbling towards you with blood dripping down his split bottom lip.

The second thing to hit you, though, was the undeniable feeling of guilt that hit you when Isaac refused to meet your gaze.

As soon as his slow and sluggish steps carried him to you your hands flew to his cheeks, gentle but firm, you cupped them and tried your very hardest to ignore how much you wanted to run your tongue along his bleeding lip. It was proving a lot harder than you would have ever thought it would, in all honesty.

You forced your eyes to stay locked on his, your jaw tight and teeth clenched, your own anger overpowering Isaac’s guilt. “What did he do to you?” You asked him softly, brushing your thumbs along his cheekbones with a feather like touch. The last thing you wanted to do was put him in any more pain than he was already in.

“I may have a C minus in more than just chem.” Isaac explained flatly. Despite the slight ache your hands caused him he couldn’t stop himself from melting into you, loving your warmth as opposed to the cold of the basement freezer. 

At his confession you found yourself unable to hold yourself back any longer. You let out a sigh and Isaac fixed you with a confused gaze as he watched your brows furrow in determination. “Come with me.” 

Isaac followed behind you as you led him towards the basement of the school, nobody ever went down there and your first class, with Isaac, happened to be a free period. It wasn’t until you were standing across from each other again in the narrow dark hallway of the basement that Isaac spoke up in question, “Did you bring me down here to kill me or…”

You let out a shaky sigh, confidence waning as you second guessed yourself. Was this a good idea? Absolutely not. Would it make him feel better, however? Incredibly so, yes.

Deciding you’d probably stretched the whole “keep Isaac out of it” thing as far as you could, there was no point keeping it from him any longer- he was getting hurt whether he knew about the supernatural or not. 

“I’m about to tell you something completely bizarre and I need you to, one, please believe me and don’t freak out and, two, don’t be mad at me for not telling you sooner.” Isaac’s eyebrow rose in concern, “Yeah- yeah sure, ok- what is it?” His voice was filled with worry as were his eyes, that still sparkled despite the dark purple colouring surrounding them paired with the dim lightening of the windowless basement.

“Remember that thing that bit me?” You asked and he nodded mutely, “well, it sort of… gave me something.”

Isaac gasped, “Rabies?” His question was so positively drenched with genuine concern that you had to laugh, grabbing his hand and shaking your head softly. 

“No, I don’t have rabies.” You laughed again, his relieved sigh bouncing off the walls.

“Thank God.”

“It’s probably best if I just show you.” You told him, smiling softly and nodding your head in resolve. You were doing this.

“Show me wha-... holy shit.” Isaac gasped yet again, mouth agape and eyes wide as he stared at your, now slightly changed face, your eyes were a glowing purple and you had fangs? Something in the back of his head told him that, really, he should be afraid. But he wasn’t. Not even in the slightest. He thought the look suited you quite frankly. The way the purple glow of your eyes reflected against your complexion in the dim lighting was, in all honesty, completely mesmerising.

“I’m a vampire.” You clarified, although it was perfectly obvious. Isaac only nodded his head numbly, still trying to comprehend what he was looking at.

When he didn’t say anything after a solid ten seconds you spoke yet again, “I’m telling you because, I hate seeing you hurt…” Your voice trailed off, you weren’t exactly sure what to say in the moment.

It was just then that Isaac spoke up, a sad lilt in his voice while he squeezed your hand, “Come on, (N/n). Don’t do this to yourself, you know there’s nothing you can do-“ You cut him off, voice a mix of anxiety and excitement, “But Isaac! I can! I can do something about it! Okay? Look- I’ve got all these new vampire abilities and one of them…” You paused to take a breath, eyes flying around his face frantically before you finally locked your gaze with his. 

Swallowing the lump on your throat you finished, “I can take your pain away. And physically heal you- but that might not be such a good idea. Your dad would know something was up.”

One thing you loved about Isaac was that he always took your word for things. He never ever doubted you and always believed you when you told him something. Even in a situation like this< he never asked questions< he simply trusted you.

“Will taking my pain away hurt you? Because if it will then absolutely not, I’ll keep it to myself I don’t want you getting hurt because of-“ Isaac fretted anxiously, only stopping when your hands returned to their previous spot on his cheeks, smiling sweetly, “It won’t hurt at all. It’s actually quite enjoyable.”

“How do you do it?” He asked tentatively, hands moving to rest on your waist, an action that wasn’t entirely uncommon but was usually saved for the most intimate of shared moments, which, you supposed, this was.

Nervously you chewed on the inside of your cheek before telling him, “Well, when I feed on someone, its got some kind of euphoric effect- kinda like a drug high or something.” 

Isaac, yet again, nodded his head. “Okay. Go for it.” He told you surely, though hints of anxiety still lingered in his voice. 

You nodded slowly in response. Your hands slipped from his cheeks, the left was now tangled in his curls and tilting his head gently to the side to expose his, already bruised, neck. The other grabbed ahold of his shoulder, bringing him down so that you were level with his neck.

Isaac’s eyes stayed glued to you while you walked him carefully backwards until his back met the wall of the basement, your eyes were still glowing and it was when you nervously peered up at him through your lashes that he realised; he’d do anything you ever asked him to.

“This might sting a bit. Tell me if you start to feel dizzy.” You warned before, hesitantly, moving your fangs towards his neck. His grip on your waist tightening as you bit into him, as gently as you could. He let out a short hiss of pain before you felt him relax against you, his eyes closed and his jaw fell slack the second his blood hit your tongue.

His blood was an entirely new experience. It tasted like, you didn’t actually know, but it was like nothing you’d ever consumed before. If you thought Stiles’ blood was good, Isaac’s was on another level. Maybe all your pinning for him made him taste better to you? You didn’t know.

A satisfied sound unconsciously left your mouth at the flavour while your hand tightened in his hair, but in your close proximity you picked up something more than just the taste of his blood. It felt like… lust? 

The feeling was backed up by the throaty groan falling from Isaac’s mouth, his hands not only tightening on your waist but pulling you closer to his body. Now chest to chest as your lips moved on his neck.

True to your word, Isaac already forgot about the ache in his body- his mind now consumed by the feeling of you, the girl he was not so secretly in love with, with your lips and tongue situated on his neck. And if that alone wasn’t enough to steer his mind away from his pain, the feeling the bite gave to him definitely did the trick.

It was like morphine running straight through his veins. He felt not only like he’d never been hurt to begin with but as well as that, and maybe more importantly, his mind was completely at peace- his thoughts purely consumed by you.

The way you looked when you removed your mouth from his neck was bordering on ethereal, your bodies remained pressed against each other and for a few moments you simply stared at each other with half lidded eyes. Isaac’s breath came out in pants as he stared down at you, your own eyes captivated by the dried blood on his lower lip. Noticing this, and with very little composure what with his current blissed out state, Isaac spoke, “You can take it- the blood. If you want it.”

You weren’t sure at what point it had happened but the lust you felt earlier had magnified tenfold, although you were sure it didn’t all belong to Isaac- you felt it too. He stared at your lips the way you’d been starring at his only seconds ago, did he want you to kiss him? It seemed like it. Did you want to kiss him. Absolutely. A thousand times over.

Again you found yourself wondering; was this a good idea? And, again, you found yourself thinking that, no, it probably wasn’t the best idea. 

Your inhibitions were lowered significantly since you fed, feeding on Stiles’ had been enjoyable but feeding on Isaac, though- that had been intoxicating. Perfectly content to blame what you were about to do on your intoxication if it came back to bite you in the ass, you moved your hands back to their favourite spot cupping Isaac’s cheeks.

Slowly, you pulled him back down to your level, the boy in your grasp complying quite happily, seemingly entranced by your face. Butterflies were erupting violently in your stomach at the way his blue eyes fluttered over your face appreciatively as if admiring art and the way his hands held you to him so tenderly, like he was afraid to hurt you despite knowing you were a supernatural entity. 

What you’d give for him to gaze at you like that, so openly and surely, all the time. 

Without giving it any further thought you gave into what you’d been craving for the longest time and pressed your lips against his, the action feeling more intoxicating than the blood itself. 

Isaac’s hands mirrored yours, sliding up your side before resting against your cheeks. 

His lips moved furiously against yours. The many bruises and injuries that littered his body were long forgotten as he tasted you against his lips, finally.

Your breath came out in pants as you pulled away, your forehead resting against Isaac’s and your chests still pressed against each other. 

It was only when you studied his face that you’d realised you never even got the blood from his split lower lip. What made you feel better though, was the fact that he’d kissed you as passionately as you’d kissed him and his hands that still cupped your cheeks.

“That definitely made me feel better.” Isaac breathed out against your lips, a dopey smile forming on his own.

An airy laugh left your throat at his comment, all your fears of the kiss causing havoc evaporated from your mind with the sound of his voice.

“On a scale of one to ten how drunk do you feel right now?” You asked him teasingly, noticing his eyes were glazed over and his almost static feeling happiness was popping in your chest, almost like fireworks.

Isaac only shrugged, his happiness feeling as though it couldn’t ever be dampened after the kiss he’d just shared with you. “Tipsy at best.” He answered, and true enough you noticed he’d regained his composure a lot faster than Stiles had done the first time you fed on him. Kisses did have a tendency to be sobering, you supposed. 

A silence fell over the pair of you after that. Isaac’s eyes returned their gaze to your lips yet again and you would’ve had to be blind not to notice. By this point your eyes had returned to their usual colour and your fangs reverted back into their dormant form of your regular canines, he was simply looking at you now, just you, no supernatural frills to be seen. But as always, you just being you was enough for him. 

“Would our friendship be destroyed if I told you I really want to kiss you again?” Before you could even answer, he was already dipping his lips back to yours. Not that you minded. 

This time, his lips moved slowly and gently, his thumbs rubbing against your cheekbones before they slipped back down to grasp your waist. As your lips, yet again, meshed perfectly with his, that feeling came over your chest again. That light, fluffy feeling he not only gave you but also radiated. It was only when he pulled away for the second time that you put your finger on exactly what that feeling was- love.

With the realisation- the confirmation that the love you felt towards Isaac was mutual you couldn’t stop the wide smile that formed on your lips, you chased his lips once more after he’d pulled away and tried to keep your giggles quiet when he met you halfway with just as much enthusiasm and his smile just as wide.

It was probably a stupid question but you asked it anyway, “So… you’re not mad that I didn’t tell you about the whole vampire thing?” Isaac shook his head, “I know now. I get why you didn’t tell me.”

“I wanted to.” You told him, a nervous smile taking over your lips as you continue, “But I was kinda warned against it.” He nodded his head, although he was confused, who would’ve even warned you? Were there more supernatural creatures in Beacon Hills that he didn’t know about?

His thoughts didn’t wander too far as your soft voice cut them off, “I’m glad you know now. I missed ranting to you.” 

The boy, still holding your waist, let out a sigh, “I’m glad you told me, too. I knew something was wrong but I didn’t know what. You had me worried.” He told you, laughing airily towards the end.

When he saw the look of guilt beginning to form on your face he immediately changed the course of the conversation. “While we’re confessing stuff…” he began, shy Isaac returning as his eyes fluttered anywhere but your eyes. “We’ve been best friends for a while, and um-  I’ve wanted to tell you for a while- years… yeah for years… but um-“ you couldn’t help but smile as he rambled, you thought you had a clue where he was going. “Isaac.” You cut him off softly, smile never faltering when you finally dropped your palms from his cheeks, placing them over his that were still on your waist and giving them a reassuring squeeze. 

“Take a breath.” You instructed with a laugh. Taking your advice Isaac took a deep breath, manoeuvring his hands to hold yours, your intertwined hands hanging between the both of you now.

“I like you- love you! I love you. A lot. In a more than best friends way. And I have for a… twelve, yeah, no I’ve loved you since we were twelve. It’s okay if you don’t feel the same! I just thought since we kissed just now that maybe you-“ He was rambling again, as he tended to do when he was nervous and in the moment you couldn’t think of any other way to shut him up than to plant your lips against his. Effectively cutting him off as you did so. 

To be perfectly honest, you could definitely get used to kissing him like this all of the time. When you removed your lips from his, for what felt like the millionth time, Isaac’s eyes remained shut. With the absence of blue it really hit you how beaten up he really was, his eyes were black and purple as well as swollen terribly. When you took him in, the words fell from your lips before you could think of some flowery way to present them, “I love you too.”

A sigh of relief left his mouth and he finally found the courage to open his eyes again. The moment was ruined by the class bell ringing in the distance, signifying that your free period was now over and you’d both need to be getting to class.

The pair of you headed off together with wide smiles on your faces that didn’t seem to die down throughout the rest of the day. At the end of the school day, he’d walked you to your car and gave you a kiss goodbye before walking away looking the most pleased you’d ever seen him.

To put it simply, you were on cloud nine. As soon as you entered your kitchen once you got home from school, though, you found yourself crashing straight back down to earth.

Sitting in front of you in all his glory was Derek Hale, it didn’t excite you to see he didn’t look even remotely like he was about to apologise for being a shitty, unloyal pack member, “What do you want?” You snapped, tossing your school bag by his feet rather aggressively for no particular reason. It felt kind of nice to mildly inconvenience him.

“You need to leave.” Was all he said and you rolled your eyes, crossed your arms over your chest and stared at him with a raised eyebrow, “May I remind you, Derek, you don’t fucking live here. So maybe you need to leave.” You snapped, venom seeping from your tone but it didn’t seem to phase him, he knew how things worked with you. You were always hard to lose but once you were gone you were even harder to get back. 

“Beacon Hills, (Y/n). You need to leave Beacon Hills.” He clarified for you, still remaining stoic. “What? Why?” You wanted a good reason. A really good reason. You didn’t just confess your love to your best friend of six years to have Derek swan back into your business and tell you had to leave town for no good reason.

“If I tell you, you won’t leave.” Was he serious? He couldn’t give you a reason to leave but you could think of about ten reasons to stay, he obviously wasn’t one of them at the minute.

“You’re full of shit.” You stated, “I’m not going anywhere.” 

“Look I know you don’t exactly like me right now, kid. But for the first time since you turned I’m actually trying to look out for you, alright?” His stoic facade had dropped now, he was practically begging. 

You clenched your jaw, you didn’t want to be difficult but it was hard when the man in front of you wasn’t exactly a smooth operator himself. “If you want me to trust you tell me why.”

“We know who the Alpha is. He’s going to be coming for you next and we need to get you as far away from here as we can before he gets to you.” Derek finally explained, his anxiety bouncy from every cell in his body right into your chest. “Who is it?” You wondered, who could it have been that would make you want to stay? It wasn’t Isaac, it could’ve been Scott but that wasn’t likely seeing as he was looking for the alpha too. It definitely wasn’t Stiles. 

Derek didn’t answer this question. “Your dad is in a meeting with Chris Argent right now. His sister, Kate, was onto you, wants to put your fangs on a necklace. Your dad’s keeping them distracted long enough for me to get you out. So, we need to go. Your stuff is already in my car.” He rushed out grabbing your forearm with a grip you knew you couldn’t wriggle out of. (Not that you didn’t try.)

The wolf had to practically wrestle you into the passenger seat, ignoring all of your colourful threats of what you’d do to his precious car once you got free of his hold as he strapped you in.

Once he got into the driver’s seat, he immediately began to drive, way over the streets speed limit, and it wasn’t until you passed the “Visit Again Soon!” Beacon Hills sign that you piped up.

“Ok, we’re officially out of town. Now tell me what the hell is going on.” You demanded, the tension between you and Derek growing with every mile he drove.

Letting out a deep sigh he finally answered, “The Alpha? It’s Peter.”

The gasp that left you was sharp and Derek knew you’d handle this information with as much disbelief as he had.

Peter couldn’t have been the alpha. The alpha killed Laura Hale- tore her apart. The alpha bit Scott and you, Scott had told you he’d even punched his fist through Derek’s chest and chased him, Stiles, Alison, Jackson and Lydia around the school a few nights ago. Peter wouldn’t have done all of those things… The Peter you knew wouldn’t do all of of those things.

The the more you thought about it the more it began to add up in your mind. The voice, the one you’d heard that night in the hospital, so full of clarity and intention, the voice that consistently rattled your brain with the words of “Don’t let it kill you.” That voice, it belonged to Peter.

“Stiles and I found out last night. He said he had plans for you, he said he wanted the both of his by his side- in his pack. We knew if he got to you right now you’d join him. Even if it was just to spite me.” He explained softly, his brotherly tone making an appearance for the first time in weeks. 

Furrowing your eyebrows, you stared at Derek in confusion, “What makes you think I would’ve gone with him.” You asked, a tiny bit offended by his statement although you had a feeling he was onto something, even if you weren’t ready to admit it to yourself.

“I wouldn’t have blamed you. I’ve been thinking about what you said last night before you ran off and you’re right. I forgot about you when you needed me the most and I’m sorry for that. We both know you and Peter always had a stronger bond than the rest of us. Hating me would make him look better” He told you, not receiving an answer as he watched you stare emptily out the car window, watching the sun as it set.

“You were always so independent growing up, you did things yourself and you loved it. I didn’t know what to make of you becoming a vampire, to be honest I was hoping you’d become a wolf.” Letting out a heavy sigh Derek finished his little speech, “I didn’t know how to help you. It made me feel useless so I focused all of my time on helping Scott. I know it hasn’t been easy for you but where you’re going is going to be really good for you.” 

“And where exactly are you taking me.” You asked suspiciously. “Before you freak out, you’re only staying there until we stop whatever Peter is planning. Two weeks tops.” He tried to reason but it only served to panic you further, “Derek, where are you taking me.”

“I’m dropping you off at the airport and your getting on the next flight to Virginia.” Your eyes widened as you let out a small screech, “Virginia? That’s like a five hour flight! Why Virginia? And for two week? What about the Winter formal?” You rambled, voice high pitched with panic.

Derek shot you a sympathetic look before returning his attention to the highway, “I’ve got a few friends there. One of them is kind of a vampire expert. Says he knows some people that might be able to help train you.” The wolf explained.

Derek had friends? That was truly shocking.

“Who’s your friend?” You asked curiously. 

“His name’s Alaric Saltzman. He’s picking you up at the airport when you land.” 

“So I’m staying with some man I’ve never even met? Cool. Really not worrying at all, Derek. And my parents are on board with this little plan?” You inquired uneasily.

Derek let out a snigger at this, “Seeing as your mother was the one to suggest him, yes. Your dad isn’t so keen on the idea.”

He was chuckling like a little kid and you felt as though you were missing something, “Why isn’t he too keen on it?” 

His laugh came out full voice now as he looked at you with a mischievous grin, “Because before he and your mother got together, she was dating Ric.” 

Your eyes widened and your jaw almost hit the floor, “So your shipping me off to my mother's ex to keep me away from my alpha werewolf uncle? You guys are the fucking worst.”

A/N~ I hope this was okay but I put this in the same AU as the first Hero/Villain prompt I did with the red string/quirks! Thank you so much for the ask and I hope you enjoy the drabble :D As usual this one is extremely long LOL I’ll try to post the link for the first part here just in case anybody missed it! *magic link*  If it doesnt work Im sorry and if you look up in my tags you should be able to find it as well! Hero/Villain~ Person A is a Hero. Person B is a villain. And both have an undeniable attraction to each other

Today was not a good day. Ran was not in a good mood, which she'd easily blame on a certain Villain that had stumbled into her life. He had added an extra kink into her already chaotic life that she did not need. Like him though, she agreed- or rather he wouldn't let her forget it. She could not ignore fate. She needed to at least acknowledge what her Quirk bestowed upon her.

A soulmate.

A criminal with a deadly Quirk that was wanted in three separate countries- but a soulmate no less.

But like she had to come to terms with who he was, he needed to do the same with her. Ran was a Hero. She was just as well-known but obviously for more honorable reasons. And because of that, they could never been seen together.

After probably about a hundred times of explaining this to him and why it was risky every single time he decided to break into her house, he finally listened. But it was with a cost. It was one that she didn't really like but she could agree on.

Hotels.

Jokingly he first said Love Hotels but the moment her fist went flying towards his face, he ducked with a nervous laugh.

A Love Hotel? Was he out of his mind? She had a feeling they would be noticed there far more easily than at her house. But when she suggested in all seriousness that they go to his house, the smirk quickly vanished and turned firm.

"No."

His curt response annoyed Ran. He didn't even think about it nor did he give a reason for why not. Thinking back to the first few times they met up, she was reminded of their first obstacle they struggled to overcome.

Trust. Neither trusted the other. Whereas she thought she'd be ambushed the moment she was alone with him, he thought she had plans to have him arrested at any moment. Ran thought they were past that now. But from the way they were both grumbling and readjusting on the uncomfortable chairs, she was second guessing that. When he made his complaints even more vocal about the hotel they were currently eating dinner in, she couldn't hold back her snappy retort.

"If we just went to your house, we wouldn't have to deal-"

She hadn't even been able to finish her sentence before his own sharp words rang out. "I said no!" he barked out. His tone was so hard, his voice even more deepened with his anger. It made her jolt in her seat; her heart stuttering with a brief second of fear that she didn't really feel but knew he had seen all the same.

Even not expecting him to give a valid reason for why his actual house wasn't an option, Ran was still furious all the same when he didn't offer one up. If anything, he looked more apologetic for making her flinch. She could tell because he was softening his tone more, using gentle words with her.

Ran didn't care for any of it. When they were going to part ways for the night and he had leaned in to brush his nose against hers, she sharply turned her face away. If he didn't even trust her, then he shouldn't be allowed to touch her.

He looked like he was about to force her to comply but her hand shot out to his chest and shoved him back firmly. "Next time be on time," she said brusquely and she slammed the door shut behind her.

Admittedly, after she left she felt extremely guilty. Though that wasn't the only emotion flowing through her. There was the fact she was furious at his refusal to explain anything to her and her annoyance that she even felt guilty in the first place. Anything she said or did to him before leaving, he deserved.

But almost like the world was telling her she was wrong and she needed to be punished, Ran was late for work the next morning. All it did was fuel her anger. She argued that if Shinichi had been on time and if they met at their agreed time of 9 and not midnight, this wouldn't of happened.

Unfortunately she didn't have a time Quirk and she was indeed very tardy. She was pretty sure her whole agency heard her get chewed out by her boss. And to add to it, as her punishment, she could do paperwork for the rest of her shift- not just her own. In all of this craziness and because she got reprimanded, Ran hadn't left the agency on time. She got out a little before 8 which most would think was enough time to meet up with her Villain but since said Villain would only meet up in the most abandoned part of the city, she worried she would be late- and after scolding Shinichi no less. She did not want to hear his mouth too when he would be on time and she was the one that was late. She'd never hear the end of it.

But of course that didn't happen. Because he wasn't there. He was late- again, for their meeting. Ran told him to be on time for once.

As usual, he was not. And it burned Ran up that she actually believed he would take her seriously and be there. She was done playing the fool though. She was done with strolling into work like the walking dead. She was stressed beyond belief. Between working a full time, life threatening job that was physically and mentally draining and then dealing with her moody counterpart, Ran was just too tired. He argued that they were soulmates. He was the one that fought for this even though she argued it was too difficult for the both of them. She had given in though. Yet . . . why did it feel like she was the only one making sacrifices? Why was she the only one trying to make it work?

She left. Normally she'd sit and wait for him but she just didn't have it in her. She wanted to lay in a bed that was actually comfortable; her bed. Ran wanted to get a full nights sleep for once. That and that part of her that was still simmering inside wanted to prove a point to that dunce. Her point being that he needed to take her seriously and that he was not the only thing going on in her life nor was he the priority.

Walking through her front door, a small part of her was afraid that he'd be there waiting for her. It was dumb and she couldn't believe herself for being this way, but she knew the paranoia stemmed from her guilt. Ran actually felt guilty for leaving because he had been late and technically stood her up for what felt like the hundredth time.

Ran's house was completely silent however. When it came to that Villain that meant absolutely nothing though and she made her way to her bedroom quietly. Something else to make her feel stupid! Sneaking around her own house as if she weren't supposed to be there! Stubbornly, she forced herself to be as loud as she could.

It made no difference though. Shinichi was not there and her heart ached with a disappointment that she did not want to acknowledge. If anything, she should be happy. She'd actually be able to go to sleep on time tonight. She'd get a full night's rest.

None of those thoughts did anything for her nerves. She kept expecting to walk into a room and find Shinichi sitting there with a scowl, waiting for her. They were still trying to figure each other out but she understood him well enough to know that he would be at least a little annoyed that she hadn't waited for him.

He was never there though and slowly, her paranoia turned into concern. Now she was worried that something actually happened to him. That maybe he tried to show up on time and he ran into trouble. He was a Villain after all. . .

Abruptly she shook her head. Her emotions were running crazy with all the stress she was going through. It wouldn't do her any good to worry about things she could not control nor situations that had not even happened yet. It was with those thoughts that she forced herself into bed.

She struggled to fall asleep that night. She had tossed back and forth the entire time. It was only when a sudden noise had her shooting up in her bed that she realized she had managed to fall asleep at some point. Looking at her bedside clock that read 1:47 in solid green numbers, she knew it had only been for a few hours.

A noise coming from the foot of her bed had her gaze flying over there again. Immediately, Ran was on the defensive. It was completely dark in her room but her eyes had been adjusted enough already. Being able to make out the form of someone standing near her bedroom window, she felt any sensation of sleep trying to draw her back recede as she prepared to make her move. The figure suddenly turned though and she froze.

"Shinichi?" It was sad how much she had lowered her guard around him. From the realization that it was Shinichi, all at once she felt completely relaxed.

And irritated.

Coming to her feet, she practically stomped towards him. She had finally lost her patience with him. How dare he yell at her for the mere suggestion of going to his house and he can just walk in here whenever he pleases. Why did they only need to follow his rules yet anything she said, he disregarded?

Not anymore. She wouldn't allow it. She was sick of it.

"Shinichi! I already told you- you can't just show up at my house whenever you-!"

Not another single word came out of her mouth as it was suddenly fused hotly to his. As soon as she had been in his vicinity- which she made it quicker for him since she had been storming towards him furiously, his arm had grappled around her waist and hoisted her into his chest.

Unable to think properly, Ran was struggling to comprehend what was currently happening. Shinichi hadn't given her a chance to do anything but comply. Not that she was fighting. She wasn't proud of it but she easily sagged in his arms before moving her lips just as roughly against his own. Her own arms that had been squashed uncomfortably between their chests when he grabbed her, forced some distance so that she could tangle them around his neck and yank him even closer.

Probably getting sick of leaning down to reach her height, her breath stuttered against his lips when he just as quickly picked her up. One of his hands that had been holding her against him had dropped to her thigh and from there he easily pulled her to reach his height where he pressed different parts of their bodies together.

This wasn't their first kiss. This wasn't even the first time they had done what this was quickly leading up to. They were not strangers to each other's bodies yet she couldn't help the small gasp of excitement when her weight was suddenly being picked up off the ground. In a matter of seconds her back was pressed roughly into the wall that was by the window he had likely just snuck into only moments prior. That elicited a completely different noise from her mouth that turned into another airy breath when his hurried movements suddenly found her sitting atop her dresser. Briefly she could hear some things being jostled or even falling over but again she couldn't be bothered.

Something was different though. From the abruptness of his . . . well . . attack; that had been her first hint. Shinichi always liked to take his time. It was always her that was worried or concerned that they were taking too long. That at any moment someone would suddenly bust in on them and catch them in the act- her and a Villain. Ran never wanted to be in the same area with him for long for fear of any of that whereas Shinichi was always lax and seemed like he didn't have a care in the world.

This Shinichi was not that same Villain she had come to known. His movements were hurried and rushed; desperate almost. He was all over her and surrounding her, his mouth not once leaving a part of her body.

Ran had no complaints as of now. As it was, her legs had already wrapped tightly around his waist, cinching at her ankles to make sure he didn't move. Since he was no longer having to brace her weight himself, it allowed him to free one of his hands where he had it sliding into the hair at her nape. His fingers dug in roughly, tightening around the strands but not to the point of causing her any pain. It was just enough pressure where he could easily direct her wherever he wanted. Like now where he seemed to want it tilted to the side so that he could leave love bites up and down her throat.

The break allowed her time to breathe.

And think.

The fog that had been slowly circling around her head receded some and dazedly her eyes tried to open before fluttering shut with a moan at his continued assault on her smooth skin. She was not one to back down easily though and before she could get completely taken over again, she said his name breathy but also with a hint of seriousness.

She wanted to ask him why he was there. Ran wanted to know what was wrong with him. Something was obviously bothering him for him to suddenly be there and practically smothering her like this.

He must've heard that she wanted to say something. And when he pulled back slightly to meet her groggy gaze, she also realized it wasn't the time. She knew it before he was tugging at her bed shirt a little roughly.

"Take this off."

When her and Shinichi had first agreed that they could not ignore this red ribbon that bound them together, it had taken her some time to get used to certain things about him. Like how every plea he made, he worded like a order. At first she had been annoyed, thinking he assumed that since he was a Villain he could just demand her to do what he pleased. Soon after though, she easily realized that was not the case at all. Often any of his requests would come out with that exact same no bullshit tone but she quickly adjusted to the fact that was just how he was. That and he didn't have many people in his life so he didn't exactly have the best social skills. Overtime, she grew to like that.

That didn't change in this moment though he must've taken her silence for annoyance because he threw out a small but firm, "Please."

He was really asking her politely to take her shirt off. That added to her reasoning that something was really wrong. She complied with his request but when he went to grab her again, she placed a hand against his chest. It wasn't rough or forceful. She wasn't even denying him because she had even taken her shirt off already. If anything it was gentle. But she knew it was firm enough to get her message across.

Wait.

Ran gave him a moment. Most of the time she didn't even need to ask what was on her mind. He was usually pretty good at deducing that himself. Shinichi was like that; answering her questions before she even had to ask them.

This time his mouth stayed shut.

His hands were resting leisurely at her thighs. He had already gripped her there for when he had tugged her forward so that she sat on the edge of the dresser. His silence was upsetting her though. It was making her more concerned.

Unable to contain it because at this point she knew he would not be saying anything first, she swallowed nervously. "Is. . . Is everything okay?" Her question that had come out so shaky, she knew was a loaded one.

What's wrong? Are you okay? Are we okay? She knew he heard all of it but still, he said nothing. His gaze seemed to be focused on her lips but on closer inspection she realized he wasn't really seeing. His stare was solemn and avoiding.

Like he could read her, it was in moments like these where she could do the same. Shinichi did not want to talk right now. He was upset and he wanted comfort.

So he came to her.

Feeling the fluttery sensation within her chest, Ran decided that whatever they needed to talk about could wait. First off, she had to take care of that depressed expression that was quickly taking over his features.

Ran gave his shirt that he was still somehow wearing a single, firm tug.

"Take this off."

Shinichi hadn't left that night. Usually she was pretty quick to part ways but he didn't look like he wanted to go. Truthfully he never did but with the way he had been acting before, she didn't want him too either. So she said nothing when he settled himself almost on top of her. He had an arm loosely thrown over her waist but the weight of it gave her the impression that he didn't want to chance her trying to move. She didn't make a move to get up though. Instead she allowed her fingers to comb through his hair as his head laid against the smooth skin just under her breasts.

It was completely silent in her room. She couldn't even really hear his breathing and though it had to be into the early hours of night, Ran didn't want to go to sleep. She wanted to address what just happened. It was weighing too heavily on her mind that something was seriously wrong.

"Do you want to talk about it?" Her voice was whispered but she knew it probably sounded piercing with how quiet it was.

Shinichi didn't answer at first and she was about to assume he had fallen asleep. She knew he hadn't when his frame suddenly tensed. And she knew what that meant.

"Not really."

Ran's features pinched in annoyance. She knew he figured that out when she suddenly stopped brushing her fingers through his hair. She probably would've rolled over to give him her back if it wasn't for the fact he was laying on her. An iciness that she knew was pooling off of her though was quickly filling the space and he sat up to frown down at her.

He had pissed her off. He knew it too. And she knew he would quickly scramble for an excuse.

"You left." His tone had a hint of irritation and he was scowling to fit the part, but Ran wasn't buying it. Ran knew there was no way her not waiting for him had caused all of this. There was no way that Shinichi was that dramatic. It had to be something else- something bigger. Fixing him with a stony stare, she gave him a chance to correct himself.

"You should've waited."

So he was sticking with that?

Since his weight was still pressing her down, she did the only thing she could do. She turned her head to the side. "I have to work early tomorrow. You should probably go."

He did not appreciate her dismissal.

"Are you serious?" he said disbelieving. When she stayed quiet she could hear his huff of frustration. "Are you really just going to kick me out?"

Yes. Her refusal to acknowledge him practically screamed the answer.

He was as stubborn as she was though and he was not making it easy. The Villain made no move to leave and instead said her name warningly. His tone as well as his blatant disregard to tell her the truth finally set her off.

"If you don't trust me then stop coming to my house." Again, it was a loaded statement. If he didn't trust her, he could forget her entirely for all she cared because she would not want to see him otherwise.

Her words did nothing but set him off. His eyes narrowed. "Don't talk about things you don't understand." Ran knew what he was hinting at. He loved to throw the same argument in her face all the time. That if he didn't trust her, he probably would've gotten rid of her by now. The fact that he keeps coming back to her being that he trusts her more than he did anybody else.

It was all bullshit.

"Oh, you trust me?" she asked him daringly. It was a rhetorical question and though it made him simmer, he stayed silent. "You are allowed to come and go as you please; keep whatever secrets you want- yet you trust me? I don't know a damn thing about you. I don't know where you live, what you do during the day- nothing."

This explosion wasn't all just from his refusal to answer her question. It was a buildup that started the day they met. She gave him a moment to respond but he still sat silently still looking furious.

She didn't care.

"You're delusional, Shinichi."

Leaning back, his look of frustrated disbelief intensified. "If this is about me not taking you to my house-"

"It's not!" she snapped frustratedly. "It's everything and I-!" 

I don’t think I can do this anymore. 

Abruptly she cut herself off snapping her mouth shut. It would probably be for the best if she didn't finish her sentence. All it would do is piss him off and she didn't need to hear any more of his empty threats. A little nervous, she wouldn't meet his gaze afraid he'd be able to it in her eyes.

She should've known by now that wouldn't do anything. He was always able to read her like an open book. He was too smart for his own good; a genius even. So she braced herself for the, no doubt, angry retort.

"I had to meet up with an . . acquaintance."

Startled by his response, her eyes snapped back to his completely wide. He answered her question. He actually gave her a proper response to her question earlier. By the fact he wasn't looking at her as he spoke, she had a pretty good idea what kind of person this acquaintance was.

A Villain.

Ran stayed silent. She wanted to ask which Villain it was. As far as she knew, Shinichi never had a partner or anyone he worked closely with. Other Villains liked him about as much as the Heroes did. But Shinichi was being honest with her right now and she would not interrupt him. She especially did not want to push for too much. So instead, she continued to watch him patiently waiting for him to elaborate.

"They told me I was being monitored- someone's been following me." As he said the words his own brows furrowed in confusion and without him even explaining why, she already knew the answer.

On more than one occasion she had heard him boast that no one could ever sneak up on him. With his level of paranoia and brains- it just didn't happen. And with the Quirk he had, nobody wanted to anyway. The fact that someone had been able to tail him without his knowledge must've greatly disturbed him.

"Do you. . do you know who it is?" Her voice came out timidly, still unsure if it was okay for her to ask any questions yet.

Shinichi shook his head and she was left to stare at her hands deep in thought. Ran didn't know what to do with this information. Everything about this relationship she had with him was overwhelming. And to see that Shinichi, the Shinigami himself, was nervous- it scared her.

"I know it frustrates you and I don't want you angry with me, but I cannot let you anywhere near my personal life."

Head shooting up, she knew she looked every part offended.

It made him sigh. "It's likely a Villain. A Hero would've shown themselves by now."

So what, she wanted to say. Who did he think she was? She was a Hero. It was her job to detain Villains and he thought she should be nervous because of one?

"Ran," he said warningly. She hated when he did that because it actually made her nervous. She knew that it meant he was getting serious and he didn't want her arguing with him.

But she was never one to back down.

"I can help," she said slowly but confidently. He was always underestimating her and she hated it. She could take care of herself. She had been a Pro for five years by now. That and being a professional Hero, she was always being watched as well. Whether it be by fans, paparazzi, or her agency; Ran was always being monitored.

She knew she had made a mistake when his eyes hardened. They narrowed on her as if daring her to add anything else to that and it made her want to gulp. Them suddenly softening however was not what she was expecting.

When his hand gripped her chin gently to make her look at him, she jolted slightly. She thought he'd yell at her. . . Not this. He took it a step forward when he was leaning forward and suddenly his forehead was pressed against her own. While her eyes were widened, his were shut serenely.

"Shinichi-?"

He barely even let her start her sentence.

"I know it doesn't seem like it but I trust you with my life," he whispered and his admission made her heart speed up and a blush come to her face. But nothing could've ever prepared her mentally for what he was going to say next.

"And I know I'm a Villain and I shouldn't expect anything of you, but I'm asking you to trust me. Believe me when I tell you that nothing else matters to me but you." His eyes were still shut so she couldn't really gauge how he felt about the admission, but she reckoned it was his pride. It didn't matter though. His words were distracting enough.

"Please listen to me when I tell you me distancing you from my life is not because I don't trust you to be apart of it. I have people watching me too," he swallowed hard. "And these people won't arrest you."

His words made her eyes water and her lip tremble. They made her feel guilty. She was so dumb for jumping to conclusions. Here she was complaining he had no regard for her private life while she clearly assumed he didn't have one of his own. And his reasoning made a lot more sense.

Based off his tone and his actions though, it was clear he didn't hold any of that against her. All he did was ask, "Okay?" and she couldn’t help but get stuck on his tone. For once he was truly asking her. It didn’t sound like a demand and it told her just how worried this other Villain had made him. 

And though it was an odd sensation since her forehead was still pressed against his, she gave a slight nod. "Okay."

An hour later and Nino had made the trip over to Adrien’s house, Alya and Marinette in tow. Their chatting had been less energetic than usual, no doubt because there wasn’t a single person among them who didn’t feel exhausted. A fact that wasn’t at all helped by the late hours that they were arriving at. It may have only been nineteen hundred hours, but when you’d only had a few hours of sleep each night for the past week, it made all the difference in the world.

Despite all that, they were determined. The very thought that they were willing to go through all this just to go further in his campaign was thrilling for Nino, and he didn’t want to let them down.

A wicked grin, looking out of place on him, stretched across his face. With the events he had planned for tonight’s session, he was sure they’d be awake in no time.

They entered Adrien’s room and saw the bounty of sugary treats and caffeine that their host had prepared. After some brief chit-chat, Nino got set up quickly and rolled right into the session. The longer he delayed the more likely it was that his players would fall asleep.

“The forest at last thins as you crest the top of a hill. From your vantage point, you can see the capital city on the horizon.” There were sighs of relief around the room.

“You’ll have to hurry, then. The sun is going to start sinking below the horizon. Unless you want to be stuck outside the city until morning, you’d better get moving.”

“My bard starts one last travel song as we rush over.” Adrien opened his phone, no doubt to a lyrics site and cleared his throat.

Alya quickly covered his mouth. “I do not have the time or patience to listen to another of your renditions of Take Me Home, Country Roads, Sunshine. Let’s just get to the city, alright?” Adrien’s eyes darted to Nino in a silent plea, but he simply shrugged.

“Sorry, dude. Babe has a point.”

Pouting, he closed his phone. Beside him, Marinette giggled and patted his back consolingly.

“You reach the city gates without any issue - no bandit or monster is stupid enough to get within stones throw of the capital, not with all the guards on patrol. They were a little suspicious to see you guys so late at night, but… two noble sigils, a bardic license, and my holy symbol put those dudes right at ease. There are still a few rooms open at the inn - how are you guys going to divvy up?”

A trio of blank stares looked back at him. He sighed.

“Each room costs money to rent. You don’t have a lot, so while you could get a private room for each of you, it’s probably better to room with someone else. So who is spending the night with who?”

“Dibs on the cleric!” Alya cried. She tapped her chin theatrically, “I guess that leaves you two together, right?”

“I- I guess so?” Adrien blinked, surprised at Alya’s sudden outburst. Marinette paled a little but nodded.

“Since you guys arrived so late, most of the rooms were already filled up and you had to make do with what you can get. When you finally find your rooms, they are across the inn from each other… and there is only one bed in each room.”

A slight blush, but neither Adrien nor Marinette were freaked out. Alya slumped in defeat - there wasn’t any roleplaying involved in sleeping after all. Unless they decided to do some method acting and have a sleepover.

“The four of us drift off to sleep, which was a totally great change of pace from the creepy woods that you’ve been sleeping in for a week now.” Nino punctuated his words with a yawn that proved contagious. “It was way late at night when suddenly… M, Adrien. Roll for perception.”

Adrien, naturally, rolled a one. Just when Nino was scared he’d accidentally killed them off, Marinette pulled through with a high roll. He breathed a sigh of relief.

“With your keen elven hearing, the creaking of the wooden floor boards was enough to jolt you from sleep. There is a glint of metal above you, and you feel a presence in the darkness. You have just a few seconds to react - what do you do?”

“I roll over!” Marinette blurts out, her eyes wide.

Nino nods. “Right, that puts you right on top of Adrien, who is now totally awake too. It was a good move, though - a knife plunges into the mattress, right where your neck had just been.”

All business now, Marinette asks, “What can I see?”

“Not much. Loose cloaks with hoods pulled up. Knives. Two people. The other person has stumbled back, probs spooked by your sudden movement.”

She taps her chin before her eyes widen again. “Wait, what about the others?! We have to go get them! Or at least get their help.” She shuffles through her character sheet. “Okay, um… I whisper to Adrien in Elvish ‘close your eyes’ and then I toss a flash flare thing at the guy.”

Nino rolls some saves - without the warnings, neither of them stood a chance. He looks up to see Marinette watching him with hopeful eyes. “You got ‘em, M. Now what?”

“I roll off the bed and try to take the guy’s knife.”

“You’ve got it and your turn ends there. The dudes are blinded, but it won’t be long before they’ve recovered. Adrien?”

“Can I cast a spell?”

“Not without your lyre, bro.”

“Fine, fine. I grab it off the bedside table.”

“And why do you think it’d be there?”

“...I’m a bard. Gotta be ready to play, first thing in the morning.” Adrien smirked.

Chuckling, Nino replied. “Alright, fair. What do you cast?”

Adrien stuck out a tongue as he thumbed through his spell list. His eyes lit up as he looked at Nino. “I cast summon monster one, and I summon the Good Boy.”

“Right,” Nino said as the others giggled. “So you’ve got your celestial dog next to you. I figure you want it to attack one of the dudes?”

To his surprise, Adrien shook his head. “No, I command him to go wake up the other two. Probably to go sit by their door and bark in a commanding angelic voice.”

The fight didn’t last long from there - the two of them probably would have been enough to deal with the assassins after they lost the element of surprise. But four against two made it a landslide victory.

“Even though you try your hardest, you weren’t able to catch either alive. One got stabbed and bled out and the other, well… hopefully the innkeeper will understand that it wasn’t your fault that the window got broken.”

“Do they have anything on them?” Alya crossed her arms. “I get the feeling someone is after us.”

“You’re immediately proven right when you find a note in the dead guy’s pocket that reads, ‘Information about the Necromancer cannot reach the king. Dispose of the adventurers before they get their audience.’”

The party exchanged looks.

“Spooky,” Adrien said flatly. The others nodded in agreement.

“Do I recognize the handwriting or anything?” Marinette leaned forward, the gears in her head turning. “Remember, I am a court brat.”

“Nope. Looks like it was written deliberately poorly. You don’t know if you’d recognize it normally.”

“Time for the king?” Adrien perked up.

“Yup, it’s time for-” Nino was interrupted by a sharp knock at the door.

Adrien gulped. “Um… hello?”

Nathalie stepped into the room and narrowed her eyes at the dice and character sheets. Belatedly Nino remembered that Adrien usually claimed they were working on a project or homework during these sessions. “It is late. Your friends need to leave.”

Without a choice in the matter, they packed up and had the door shut behind them.

Synopsis : A version with the RFA as characters from a fairy tale world. She goes threw some hard times and adventures. She sets out for a adventure that turns into something she never Imaged Eventually she will fall in love with someone but will that love last ?

Notes: I grew up with all the classic Grimm´s fairytales and Disney movies.

I had this silly idea a while back and a friend encouraged me to write this so thank you @n3sh3r0x n you owe me a fanart ^-^

Their are spoilers in here for a few mysme related plot points – mainly 707´s real name and the existence of certain characters.

Once upon a time in a far far away Kingdom,

their was a young maiden she was a orphan and just turned old enough to work. She had long brown hair and ash gray eyes. They called her Cinderella. She was a really kind and warmhearted young girl she ever was helping everyone out. She was happy that a household in the next town needed a maid she left the orphanage with a lot of hopes and dreams in her heart.

The arrived at the new place the very next day it was a huge Mansion. The young girl felt overwhelmed by the size of the building alone it was a palace in the small girls eyes. She felt her clothes and herself where unworthy of this place.

Cinderella knocked on the door she help the letter in her one hand like her life depended on it her heart was beating fast.

Their was no response at first but then the Door just opened. Cinderella thought that it was strange but she entered the house anyway.

It was cold place almost colder then outside and it was also very dark and kind of dirty. This place really needed a maid that was clear. She was glad they hired her she would make sure to make this place shine again.

Cinderella was standing in the entrance hall waiting for a while but no one was coming so she called out “Is anyone here ? I´m Cinderella the new maid I was send here from the other town.”

Cinderella was just about to leave but then she saw a beautiful Lady on top of the staircase in the end of the entrance hall. Her hair was long and golden her eyes where green as grass and she wore a pretty blue dress that made her shine even more. Cinderella never seen anyone that pretty in her whole life. She was left speechless as the Woman moved slowly towards her. Every movement was elegant Cinderella felt ashamed of herself and bowed her head down.

The Lady kept quit till she was right in front of Cinderella. “ So you  are the one they send ?” Her voice was very nice but somehow her presence was overwhelming just like the Mansion. “ Y...yes  mam I´m Cinderella. I..I.. am sorry that I just came in the door just opened .” She stumbled over her words and held the letter in front of herself. The Woman just looked at it then looked at her. “ You will do your place is in the kitchen from now on just follow my every command then you can keep here. “ The Woman smiled coldly it made Cinderella shiver. All she could do was nod and follow her without her word. She led Cinderella in the kitchen it was a rather dirty place it had a small window and it was dark. In the corner was a bunch of old rag in a basket. The  Woman pointed to it “ That is your bed . I´m sure it will be good enough since you will not get much rest. You can start right away with cleaning the house today.” The Woman smiled at Cinderella it was strange. Somehow she could not even think on saying no to her ridiculous task she just nodded and bowed to the Woman. “ Good you can call me Rika. I will look later at your progress.” Without anything else Rika left leaving Cinderella behind.  Maybe she just made a bad first expression after all she just came in She would have to prove her worth to her new boss. She would surely see that Cinderella was a hard working girl.

With that Cinderella started cleaning the Kitchen. She was scrubbing and scrubbing she was in dirty and sweaty once the kitchen was sparkling clean. Then she moved to the huge front hall and started cleaning their. Cinderella knew it was impossible to clean this whole house in one day but she was trying her best.

She was still cleaning once it got dark outside her body was hurting but she could not stop. Cinderella did not even notice the male that was approaching her. “ You must be the new Maid. Why are you working still its already late ?“ Cinderella looked up and saw a tall blue hired man with blue eyes that reminded her on the Ocean. “Yes Sir I´m Cinderella I was told  to clean the whole Mansion today and Im still far from being done. “ Despite everything Cinderella smiled very kindly. The man smiled at her a bit baffled. “ Oh, that was a joke from my lovely wife she has a strange sense of humor sometimes please go and rest and call me V I feel old when you call me Sir.” The tall male looked kind and smiled but somehow his eyes where a bit sad. Cinderella nodded and headed to the kitchen. “ Wait your room is under the roof. ”The male Looked a bit confused. “Oh sorry I must had misunderstood that then too I´m sorry.” Cinderella bowed again deeply and felt stupid. Rika was looking so serious earlier could it been a misunderstanding ? Maybe she really was just so upset that she punished her with this lies ? Cinderella made a vow to prove that she was honest and hardworking.

The room V showed her was small but nice it had a small but good bed and Cinderella was so tired from all the work she passed right away out.

The next morning she woke up from a ringing sound it was a bell in her room she got dressed and then she went outside of her room she was standing right before Rika who was looking at her less coldly then before. Cinderella bowed right away “ Good morning Lady Rika I´m sorry I have overslept.” Even when she never was told to ale breakfast she assumed that was the reason why she was their. “Don´t worry about it my dear we had a bad start yesterday. I´m sorry about that lets get along nicely from now on come let us have breakfast together my Husband is already waiting.” She smiled very kindly. Somehow it felt like she was a different person yesterday it was strange but then again everyone has a bad day once in a while Cinderella thought. “ I´m really sorry I should had waited for you to call me inside I will work hard for you I promise.” Cinderella smiled widely and bowed deep down.

Together they headed to the dining Room and had breakfast after that Cinderella had peaceful days cleaning and doing household chores. It was a lot of work but she was happy the time flew by and before she knew it a month had passed. Of course their where a few strange thinks like how you are their only employee or the fact that V ever was with his wife no matter when. Of course she thought they where just really in love and maybe they not liked having people around.

A few Days later a letter for V arrived he looked really happy so Cinderella got curious. V sees that and told her what the letter was about. Their son was coming home from studying oversees. V told Cinderella they actual had two adopted sons one was really smart and was offered to study in Famous place far away. While their other Son was sadly really sickly so he to stay in a place far away to be treated. V´s Eyes where shining with that and so Cinderella got exited too. She was ever happy to meet more people and she was hoping that thinks would turn more lively from now on.

So a few later a coach arrived and Cinderella went alongside V to greet his son.

He stepped out he had blight red hair and had strange glasses on and his clothes where like nothing Cinderella had ever seen. He clearly was a eccentric young man. “ Saeyoung I´m so glad to see you again.” V Greeted him and patted him lightly on the shoulder. Saeyoung looked really beat from the travel. “ I´m glad to be back too father. It was a long journey. I truly learned so much.” He smiled wide and then he saw Cinderella standing their still a bit taken back by his strange appearance. “ Who is that a new Employee ? I thought you would never find anyone.” He was laughing. “This is Cinderella she comes from the orphanage in the other town We are truly glad to have her.” V introduced you in a very friendly way. “ I see so she has no clue this place is said to be cursed.” Saeyoung looked teasing at Cinderella who turned pale by the word course. “ What ... a course I never heard that...” Cinderella looked helpless to V.  Who looked judging towards Saeyoung. “ Its all just rumors just some maids quit before and then they spread some rumors.” V was looking calmly but his smile was gone. “ Sure they ran away like a ghost was hunting them.” Saeyoung made a spooky face. Suddenly Cinderella could not take him serious anymore so she laughed. Then they went all inside and catch up on Saeyoungs travels every story he told was unbelievable. Cinderella was not sure if any of his stories where actual true but they where interesting.

Thanks to Saeyoung days turned really fun when ever he was around Cinderella was laughing.

She slowly felt like she became part of the family.

Home insurance wants to raise dwelling coverege?

I purchased a townhome in March of 2013 for $183k in Florida. It is in a 200-unit subdivision that just completed all construction and sold out all last remaining units a few months ago. When I signed up for home insurance, the insurance company set my dwelling coverage to $183k. I told them that it isn't accurate for them to base dwelling coverage on market price because the replacement cost must be lower since market price includes land and profits the builder makes. Long story short, they convinced me to stay at $183 because they said costs were rising and so forth. I decided not to fight it. Fast forward to this year, and now they are proposing to increase the dwelling coverage to $203k (11% increase). Funny thing is that for my exact townhome model, about 20 units were sold in the last year with prices averaging in the upper $180s (slightly above what I paid). I called the insurance company to let them have a piece of my mind, and they told me they use an independent 3rd party company to price the replacement costs. I told them it's BS because it's way above average market price and replacement costs is always below market price. They asked me to send them documents from when I purchased the home that details the construction materials used and upgrades so that they can reevaluate the dwelling coverage. My question is, why is the burden of proof on me to prove to the insurance company that dwelling coverage should be lowered? Why can't they just reduce it to what I tell them to reduce it to? After all, I am the customer who pays for the insurance. If my house is ever destroyed and I underinsured, that's my problem not theirs. I just find it strange that I'm paying for an insurance service and the insurance company decides what the replacement cost is, not me. Even though it doesn't affect them.""

My grandfather, who is 72 years old, needs round-the-clock care that has now exceeded our capabilities. He suffers from pre-existing bad to severe dementia. He's suspicious, falls frequently, very forgetful, suffers from sundowning. He just doesn't know what to do and he even struggles with basic life functions. He also suffers from lymphatic cancer that metastasized to his lung and chest cavity, as well as squamous cell carcinoma that is very resistant to all his previous treatment and has spread to open wounds on his arm. Because all of his lymph nodes were removed, his lymphatic fluid constantly pools in that arm and swells to hugely abnormal size. Therefore he has to wear a sleeve to keep it in place, which is painful for him to put on and is time-consuming for his caregiver. He also is supposed to keep his arm elevated, but refuses because of his dementia. He is mean and hateful at times and insists that we are trying to kill him and is always demanding that his caregiver (my aging and stressed grandmother) remain at his side at all times, or he grows suspicious about her fidelity. He has hallucinations. We moved in with them to help her take care of him, but my school work (homeschooled, mainly to take care of them) and my mother's commute to work have also taken a toll on us. We hated to think about it, but we finally resolved that he belongs as a permanent resident in a home. The biggest problem is the astronomical cost which we can't just chip together , as it was never there in the first place. We did research on nursing home coverage and found out about long term care coverage. We found out some basic things like it is best to purchase at a young age. Unfortunately, my grandmother was never educated on insurance and doesn't possess significant life insurance nor anything like long-term care, and he doesn't qualify for the little help Medicaid offers. Although he suffers from cancer, he has reached the end of his treatment. His cancer was too resistant to all prospective radiation and chemotherapy, and the anti-body treatment that he tried, he had a massive allergic reaction to. He has awful pain all the time and is on a rotated regimen of extra strength ibeproufen and high dosage morphine, with a high grade fentanyl pain patch. So, although cancer plays a part in his insurance qualification in name, apart from being administered his medication and sleeve, his cancer is not the main concern as far as his care/treatment goes. We have had to accept that he is going to die sooner or later and are trying to find the best final preparations. Bentonite clay seems to be drawing out some of the side effects of his radiation (after which his cancer got worse), and so may prolong his life. The short prognosis was 2-9 months. His dementia have become exhausting and endless. There's simply nothing we can do anymore. He's on prescription for Aricept for the dementia and we give him melatonin for the sundowning, which seems to have a calming effect. Sorry for the long piece, but we're all very distressed about this and I felt that I had to give a thorough explanation of his ailments and treatment. Our needs are a long-term stay in a nursing home facility covering skilled care for his dementia, activities of daily living, ect. We also hope that he can be treated with respect and dignity. We need affordable prices like anyone else in the middle class, not astronomical rates. We also need a policy that would either cover pre-existing without penalizing for it or not asking health questions, ect., as my grandfather is obviously in need of care we can't offer him. The only policy we have even brushed upon is Physicians Mutual. We don't know anything about it really, and we don't know where to look for anything else. Everything seems to lead to a dead end online when we need a solution. Any help is greatly appreciated.""
