I'd love to hear more about Naveler and Space Jumpers!

Happy to talk about him! He is one of the few full mechanical OCs I have and my main reason for learning to draw robots and vehicles.

Currently, he is getting an overhaul after I learned about the [Super Guppy] , a very cute whale-dolphin-looking spacecraft!

Yes: kiddo Windy loved SO MUCH the Latios/Latias Pokemon, she modeled the first Naveler after those x'D I'm glad now I can move from that. Still, always in debt for that with the franchise.

Naveler's species in general was inspired by a shadowy flying image little me saw through the car's windows during each family trip. I think other people imagine animals or humanoid figures running alongside car rides, a daydreaming distraction when you are bored to ask "When we will arrive?".

Now, lore related to him and his species: is still quite beta but so far they are of unknown origin, probably interdimensional. But they always find their way to places with intelligent and bored beings to feed from their imagination. Space Jumpers usually approach from afar, like how I described those running figures alongside cars. Rarely reach personally to the being but when doing it, they make sure their "pilot" is relaxed and/or willingly wishing to be "whisked away" by the space jumper. After all, they are literally letting someone inside their mind, it could be dangerous!

Space Jumpers can be of different sizes! Mostly modeled after aircraft vehicles from the place they land, and can have multiple or sole pilots, like [Edwin] , who was "adopted" by Navs when he first met him during childhood... probably because Ed is such a chronic daydreamer even if not bored at all times.
