I'm sorry but I simply do not accept that Edward doesn't like 60s or 70s music. I know the bit's playing on him being a Super Serious guy but you're really gonna tell me Edward wasn't excited exploring jazz fusion? Prog rock would've been at least hit-or-miss for him.

I would believe he holds a grudge because of the rise of bubblegum pop and disco or whatever. Fine. But tbh it's way more likely that he was half joking, half being a pretentious little hipster in front of his crush when he wrote those years off

#John Lee Hooker and Nina Simone technically got their careers started in the late 50s #but they became icons in the 60s and they alone would be enough to have Edward looking back at that decade fondly imho #as a classic rock fan I will concede a lot of it would NOT Edward's jam. BUT.#...at the same time. he's here for Linkin Park but not Led Zeppelin? I'm not buying it #edward cullen #hoa5 #i love that edward's a music snob. however it's BECAUSE he's a music snob that he can't write off the explosion of creativity in those year #edward cullen is a huge bill withers fan. don't even try to argue with me on this.#also bella would THROW HANDS with him on nancy sinatra's behalf #I know he wasn’t implying that there was no good music back then #but he goes on to say the 80s weren’t bad. and??? any issues he had with the 70s would’ve been WORSE in the 80s #the 80s and 90s would’ve been the worst for him #the 00s saw the rise of an indie scene that I think he would’ve loved #but the 60s and 70s? would’ve been a letdown after the 50s but not horrible!!!!!
