I completely failed at writing anything else and instead knit, which is great cause I finished my last holiday gift but also whoops
#sooooooo#so now once i finish decorating its back to writing the h@wkeye/radar fic#idk man the brainrot is real rn#part of the quote on quote issue is that im trying a different writing process#so usually i post fic after two drafts (including the zero) and i always feel like i could do a better job but meh#so this time im trying to do one more draft#and its going really well!! in that the quality of my writing is skyrocketing rn#but its also really sucky because it takes so much longer to do this final draft#and i have no baseline for myself#like i can knock out a 4-5k word zero draft in a day or two#and (in non-burnout time) a good next draft takes a week at most#but like#this added draft#im consistently averaging like a couple paragraphs a day#and ik ill get faster as i write more/longer etc thats how this works practice makes perfect#but thats part of why im starting another fic instead of finishing the pl@gatine or beedl!nk fics lol#its more serotonin producing (for my adhd) to speed draft than to labour through this additional draft#yknow???#im slowly working on it but sheesh#one of these days ill need to properly turn off my phone and make it so that i can actually just sit#with my document until i write something#thats how i trained myself to write in the first place#just havent gotten there yet
