I just dreamt I went to see a musical named The Singing of the Lambs. 

The main characters were Jack Crawford, Will Graham (which everyone accclaimed with much noise when he first appeared on stage) and the Grinch as the black stag representing the Chesapeake Ripper. Might have been a drag queen as Alana Bloom too, I’m not so sure anymore. 

Everything starts with Will singing and dancing an alternate version of I Wanna Be Like You from The Jungle Book at the B.A.U headquarters in an attempt to explain how much he craves for mental sanity. 

By the end of the show, the Grinch has revealed himself to be Hannibal by getting out of the suit. The very last song is a duet on Tonight, from West Side Story. Will Graham is on the balcony, full of light, overlooking the whole room as the God he is in Hannibal’s eyes while the latter sings with him from below, the both of them looking fondly at each other.

Y’know, after that episode, I’m starting to worry for all my other favorite characters. I’ve joked in the past that I always like characters who wind up dying. Zuko might be the only character from a popular fandom that hasn’t bitten the dust.
