Soapâs eyebrows lifted with a curious glint in his eye as he looked from you to Adira, a playful grin edging onto his face. He leaned in, never one to miss a chance at a bit of friendly prodding.
âSo⊠youâre married?â he asked, his tone as light as his smirk.
You laughed, the sound warm and genuine. âHaha! No, Iâm not.â You gave Adiraâs tiny hand a gentle squeeze, glancing down at her with a smile that softened every edge on your face.Â
Soap tilted his head, pretending to be shocked. âA bonnie lass like yerself? Unmarried?â he teased, hand on his chest as though it were a crime.
âGuess Iâm a rare breed,â you replied with a grin, chuckling as you shifted Adiraâs hand in yours.
Soapâs face lit up at your response, as if heâd just been given the most interesting bit of news heâd heard all week. He shot Ghost a quick look, but Ghost was still watching Adira, his gaze softened with something unreadable.
Meanwhile, Gaz wasn't fascinated by Soap's ability to make anyone at ease, the man was a cassanova. Roach watched Adira with curiosity, as though piecing together a puzzle he hadnât realized existed until now. Price stood off to the side, arms crossed, silently observing the whole scene.
âIf you arenât married, howâd you get this little one?â Soap pushed, grinning as he wiggled a playful finger in Adiraâs direction.
Adiraâs gaze snapped up from Ghost to the man with the funny hair, her little brow furrowing as she studied Soap with a mix of curiosity and caution. She leaned into your leg, clearly wary, but her attention stayed on the finger waving in front of her.
You chuckled, brushing a hand over Adiraâs head to reassure her. âLong story,â you replied, smiling. âLetâs just say she was an unexpected blessing.â
Soap laughed softly, glancing at Ghost with a gleam in his eye. âAh, aye, lifeâs full of surprises, eh?âÂ
Ghost, who had been studying Adira in silence, clenched his jaw, shifting uncomfortably as Soapâs words hit a little too close to home.
âI used to be really wild back in the day,â you admitted with a sheepish grin, a hint of nostalgia coloring your tone as you thought back to those not-so-distant years.
Soap wasnât quite done yet, though. âDoes the father know?â he threw a quick glance at Ghost, who had just risen from his crouched position. A new tension ran through Ghostâs frame, his stance rigid, as if the question had struck something heâd rather not confront.
You hesitated, a shadow crossing your expression before you shook your head. âNo, he doesnât⊠He, uh, probably has no idea.â
Ghostâs jaw tightened, his gaze flickering from you to Adira, who was absorbed in her drink, unaware of the intensity surrounding her. His shoulders stiffened, and for a split second, he looked as though he wanted to speakâbut whatever words he had caught in his throat, locked behind his silence.
"I see, well. I'm sorry if I took up your time, maâam, you've been a nice chat," Soap said, his voice softening with a touch of politeness, his grin still present but more reserved now.
You nodded, giving Adiraâs hand a gentle tug as you continued on your way, the soft crunch of snow beneath your boots the only sound accompanying your steps. The blue sky stretched above, peaceful, serene. As you walked, Adira turned her head, glancing back at Ghost one final time. She refused to let go of her cup, her small fingers gripping it tightly, but she lifted her other hand in a small, hesitant wave. "Bye-bye," she whispered, her voice soft but sweet.
Ghostâs gaze lingered, but he didnât move. His expression was unreadable, a mixture of things churning behind those eyes.Â
Price let out a heavy sigh, crossing his arms and facing Ghost. âSo... whatâs the plan?â he asked, his tone both blunt and expectant, clearly waiting for some kind of direction. The rest of the team stood in silence, watching the exchange unfold.
Ghost didnât answer immediately. His gaze remained on you and Adira, watching you both disappear further down the street, the distance growing with each step. The soft crunch of snow under your boots was the only sound in the quiet winter air. He didnât even notice Price's voice until the man spoke again, closer now, with a slight edge to his tone.
"Ghost, talk to me. Whatâs the plan here?â
Finally, Ghost shifted, his shoulders tense, his jaw clenched as he turned to face Price. There was a flicker of something in his eyesâsomething caught between anger, confusion, and a deep, gnawing regret.
"I don't know," he muttered, the words barely escaping his lips. "I wasn't expecting this. Hell, I didn't even know she existed." His voice was low, strained, but there was a quiet honesty to it, as if he was trying to process something that didnât make sense.
Soap stepped closer, his expression serious for once. "What now, Ghost? We can help. But you need to tell us what's going on."
Ghost finally looked away, his attention drawn to the ground, his fingers twitching like he was trying to find something to hold onto. "I don't even know where to start," he admitted. "All I know is... I saw her. And it hit me like a fucking truck."
Roach, always one to stay in the background, spoke up. âMaybe itâs time to talk to her, yeah? Figure out where to go from here?â
Priceâs eyes narrowed, his stern gaze shifting to Ghost, assessing him. âAnd what exactly do you want from us? Youâre in this, whether you like it or not.â
Ghost let out a frustrated breath. âI donât know,â he repeated, voice hoarse. âBut I canât just let her slip away.â
A silence stretched between them, heavy and thick, as the weight of the situation settled in. Then, slowly, Ghost nodded. âIâll figure it out. Just⊠not now. Not here.â His eyes flicked toward the street where you had disappeared, and something in his gaze softened, just for a moment, before the mask fell back into place.
Price gave a single nod. "Alright. But we stick together on this. Youâre not doing it alone, Ghost."
The team stood together for a moment longer, the wind howling through the alley, before they slowly began to move, their steps trailing off into the winter evening. The silence that hung between them was thick with uncertainty. No one knew what came next, but they knew one thing for sure: whatever happened, they were in this together.
A month passed, the team giving Ghost the space he needed to process the whirlwind that had hit him. They all knew this was something he had to handle on his own terms, but that didn't mean the questions didn't linger. What did it mean for the future? What did he want? The answers were still unclear, even to Ghost himself.
But Soap, ever the persistent one, wasnât content to let things sit in limbo. He knew Ghost, knew how his mind worked, and that sometimes the best way to breakthrough was to take small steps. And if that meant subtly nudging you into the picture, then so be it. Heâd always been good at thisâat slipping in the background, making things happen without anyone noticing.
So, Soap started to "accidentally" run nto you. At the park, when you were out with Adira, he'd make sure to be in the same place at the same time, offering a casual greeting. It always started simple, harmless, with a nod or a small comment about the weather. Then, of course, there was that coffee shop where you'd gone to get hot chocolate for Adira.
The first time he "bumped" into you there, it was nothing more than a quick exchange. A question about the drink, a comment on the cold weather, just the usual small talk. But Johnny's natural charm and ease made you relax, and made the conversation flow without much effort. Over time, those small moments grew. You'd smile when you'd see him, and he'd greet you with the same friendly energy, always leaving you feeling at ease. No pressure, just casual.
And slowly, ever so slowly, Johnny began to warm you up to the idea of him. It wasn't much at firstâa smile here, a shared laugh thereâbut he knew what he was doing. He wasn't pushing, just letting the connection build at its own pace. The more you saw him, the more comfortable you felt. The more you talked, the more you found yourself enjoying the interactions, even if they were brief.
One evening, Johnny sat beside you on the park bench, casually leaning back as Adira bounced around in the snow, her laughter filling the crisp air. The sound was contagious, and for a moment, you let yourself relax, watching her with a soft smile.
"So, me and a couple friends are meeting up at Leslie's this weekend," Johnny said, his tone light but with a hint of something more. "Would you be interested?"
You snorted, expecting the usual joke or teasing, but when you glanced over at him, his expression was far more serious than you anticipated. For a moment, you considered dismissing it. After all, Leslie's? A pub? That was a far cry from the cozy routine youâd built for yourself with Adira.Â
âSeriously?â you asked, raising an eyebrow. "I don't think I fit the scene."
Johnny shrugged nonchalantly, the corner of his mouth lifting in that playful grin of his. âPlease. It'll just be like old times.â
Your mind immediately wandered, trying to understand what he meant by that. What was it about old times that Johnny thought might appeal to you? You didnât exactly have a wild past to cling to. Sure, youâd had your moments, but those felt long behind you now.Â
Still, something about the invitation lingered. A night out... maybe it wouldnât be so bad. You hadnât done anything for you in a while. And maybe, just maybe, it would be nice to let someone else take care of the night for once. No worrying about Adira, no responsibilities for a few hours. Just some fun, whatever that meant now.
You hesitated, looking down at Adira as she made another snow angel, oblivious to the conversation happening nearby. Sheâd be fine, right? And you could leave if things felt uncomfortable.Â
âAlright,â you finally said, meeting Johnnyâs gaze with a reluctant but genuine smile. "I'll join you. But only if itâs not as crazy as youâre making it sound."Â
Johnnyâs grin widened, and you could tell he was already mentally planning the evening, no doubt with some plan to ease you in without overwhelming you. He stood up, dusting off the snow on his pants as he glanced back at you.
âDeal. Iâll make sure itâs a night to remember.â
You just hoped he wasnât overselling it.
The weekend seemed to arrive so fast, and here you were, standing outside your apartment, nervously adjusting your blue blouse and jeans. It wasnât exactly the type of outfit you thought would fit a night out, but it was the best you could do. Most of your wardrobe these days consisted of comfortable clothes, ones that could be easily changed or wiped clean in case Adira had another of her toddler mishaps. Sexy or flirty clothes were a distant memory, tucked away in a drawer somewhere, gathering dust.
Adira stood in the doorway, clutching her little stuffed bear to her chest, eyes wide and brimming with unshed tears. The sight hit you harder than you expected. You knelt down in front of her, your heart sinking at the sight of her teary eyes. âIâll be back in a couple hours, I promise,â you said, your voice gentle but firm, reaching out to her with a reassuring smile.
Adira sniffled, her tiny hand coming up to rub her eyes, but she didnât break her stare. You held out your pinky, the gesture as familiar as breathing. Slowly, she reached out, her small finger wrapping around yours with the same trust she always had. The connection was brief, but it felt like a promise, one that you hoped would calm her.
"I won't be out long," you said softly to the friend youâd left with her. "And you, be good for Auntie too." The last part was directed at Adira, though the words felt bittersweet on your tongue.
Adira nodded, but her face still held that sadness, that uncertainty of what the night would bring without you.Â
Standing up, you ruffled her hair and offered a small, hopeful smile. âIâll be back before you know it. Just a little fun for Mama, okay?â
Her small nod didnât do much to ease the tightness in your chest, but you turned and gave her one last look before stepping outside. The cool evening air wrapped around you, a contrast to the warmth of the apartment behind you, but you pushed the feeling away. Tonight was for you, however strange that sounded.Â
Locking the door behind you, you felt a flutter of nerves in your stomach. This wasnât just any night out. It was a night with Johnny, with his friends, with the possibility of reconnecting to parts of yourself youâd set aside for so long.
Arriving outside the establishment, the familiar hum of chatter and music filled the night air, but what caught your attention first was Johnny standing outside, leaning against the brick wall, checking his watch. The moment his eyes met yours, they lit up, his expression shifting from casual to something almost... eager.Â
âWell, well, look at you,â he said with that trademark wink of his, his gaze raking over you with a genuine appreciation that made you feel suddenly self-conscious. âYou clean up well.â
You rolled your eyes but couldnât suppress the small smile tugging at your lips. It was hard to resist the easy charm of Johnny.
âLetâs just hope I survive this night,â you muttered, though the words were more for yourself than him. You werenât sure what to expect tonight, but you couldnât shake the feeling that things might not go as smoothly as Johnny seemed to think.
Johnny chuckled, the sound warm and reassuring. âIâm sure you will. Now, letâs get going before I change my mind.â
With that, you fell into step beside him, the weight of your hand at your side suddenly feeling strange in the cool night air. He led you toward the door, and as you entered the dimly lit space of the bar, your eyes scanned the room.Â
It was bustling, a mix of regulars and newcomers, all seeking solace or company for the night. It smelled of beer, whiskey, and the faintest hint of fried food, a familiar and welcoming kind of atmosphere. But as soon as you stepped inside, your nerves shot back up again. You tried not to let the nerves show, but they were there, itching under your skin.
What you didnât notice, as you made your way to the bar, was the group inside. Ghost, Price, Gaz, Roachâquietly observing, waiting for their chance to either speak to you or simply let you slip through their fingers once more. Ghostâs eyes tracked you the moment you stepped inside, and there was a hesitation in his gaze, something raw and almost pained that flickered in and out.Â
For a moment, Ghost didnât move, didnât speak. He simply watched you, aware that the moment heâd been dreadingâhe had finally stumbled into. Your gaze met his across the room, the flicker of recognition passing between you both. But that was it. You didnât remember. You didnât know him. You didnât know what he was to you.
Approaching the bar, you saw that Johnny was already leaning in, chatting with the bartender, exchanging friendly banter. You barely heard the words, only caught up in the feeling that something was different. Something you couldnât quite place. You glanced back at the table where those men sat. They werenât talking, but their eyes were all trained on you, as if waiting for something to happen.
Your heart raced without explanation. Ghostâs eyesâthose eyesâstayed locked on you. He didnât know how to approach, how to change what had already seemingly been set in stone. What was he supposed to say? What was the plan now that you were here, so close? God, why the fuck did johnny do this.
Johnny leaned toward you again, a soft smile curling his lips. âYou good, love?â he asked, his voice pulling you back to the present.
âYeah,â you muttered, your voice barely above a whisper. You forced a smile, trying to ignore the uneasy tension brewing in your chest. âJust... getting used to being out.â
Johnny winked again, oblivious to the chaos of emotions swirling within you. âItâs all good. Letâs have some fun tonight, yeah?â
Ghostâs fist clenched involuntarily under the table. He wasnât sure how much longer he could keep this distance, this silent acknowledgment of his role, or how long he could ignore what it meant to see you here now.Â
âYouâll fit right in,â Johnny said, though there was a hint of something deeper behind his words. âJust a bunch of mates enjoying a drink, nothing crazy.â Johnny leads you over to the table, you expected to be met with⊠well you didn't quite know what. Â
Price leaned back in his seat, cigar in hand, a soft smile on his weathered face as he regarded you with a raised brow. âDidnât think youâd actually show up.â
"Neither did I," you muttered under your breath, forcing a smile and doing your best to ignore the gnawing feeling that lingered when you looked at him. You hadnât quite expected this part of the evening.
âIâm just here for a drink, nothing more,â you said, looking over at Johnny was getting comfortable in his chair.
âWell, pull up a seat, love,â Price said, motioning to the empty spot next to him. âWeâre all friends here.â
You hesitated but made your way over, perching yourself on the seat next to him. The sound of the glass being slid toward you, the clink of ice against glass, broke through the chatter around you. Your nerves buzzed as you focused on the drink in front of you, trying to ignore the sudden realization of just how different this was from the quiet, routine life you had at home with Adira.
âEnjoy yourself,â Price said with an air of casual amusement, leaning back in his chair. âThis is all new for you, isnât it?â
You raised an eyebrow, not wanting to admit just how out of place you felt in the moment. Instead, you took a sip of your drink, the burn of whiskey warming you from the inside out.
You laugh lightly, a bit awkwardly, trying to shake off the nerves that gnawed at you. "Yeah, this all a bit... newish. I haven't been out like this in years honestly," you admit, taking a deep breath and glancing around the bar. The warmth of the space was a welcome contrast to the chill outside, but the sight of the men made you feel more like a fish out of water than ever.
Johnny claps you on the back with an easy grin, clearly trying to make you feel more comfortable. âThese are my mates. Price, Kyle, Gary, and Simon," he introduces with a flourish, motioning to each man in turn.Â
You give them all a polite smile, not quite sure what to make of them just yet. There was something about the way they carried themselves, all standing a little apart from the crowd, that made it clear they were more than just regulars at the pub. But you didnât have time to focus too much on that right now. You were trying to just survive the night.
Price, who looked a bit older than the rest, nods at you, his gaze thoughtful, almost cautious. âNice to meet you,â he says in a tone that is polite but distant, as though heâs waiting for something, some sign.
Kyle, as Johnny had called himâgives you a friendly nod, a playful glint in his eyes, but there's a strange sharpness to his look that you canât quite place. âPleasure," he says, offering you a tight smile.
Gary simply gives you a quick but sincere nod. His eyes linger on you just long enough for you to catch a flicker of interest before he looks away.
And then thereâs Simon. His presence, as always, is quieter, more intense. Heâs sitting in the middle, arms crossed, his gaze fixed directly on you. You can feel the weight of it, though. Itâs impossible not to. There was something you couldn't place with him though you couldnât see too well under the dim light.
You try to shake off the unease creeping up your spine. âNice to meet you all," you reply, your voice warmer than you feel.Â
Johnny, oblivious to the awkwardness in the air, slaps the bar and gives a nod. âAlright, drinks all around, yeah? Letâs get this party started!â he declares, pulling the group into the rhythm of the night.
As the revelry began your stomach churns slightly, a sense of unease still lingering despite the distraction. You knew something was off, something you couldnât quite put into words. It wasnât just the menâit was the way Simonâs gaze lingered on you, the way he looked at you as if he were waiting for something. It unsettled you, but you couldnât figure out why.
Johnny, seemingly oblivious to your tension, slides a drink toward you. âFirst roundâs on me," he grins, the clink of glass against the table snapping you back to the present. "Hereâs to a good night.â.
You took a deep breath, swallowing down the nerves that still clung to you. This was supposed to be a night out, after all. A chance to shake off the past, to let loose just a little. You couldnât let the weight of everything pull you under before you even tried. What would be the point if you didnât at least try and enjoy yourself?
Shaking the tension from your shoulders, you took a sip of your drink, the burn of alcohol easing the knot in your stomach just slightly. The guys were chatting among themselves, Johnnyâs laughter cutting through the low hum of the bar as he joked with Kyle. Price was listening intently, nodding along while Gary seemed content to let the others talk, his eyes occasionally flicking to you, though his gaze didnât linger long.
And then there was Simon.
His presence loomed even when he wasnât speaking, his broad frame leaning against the bar just slightly, face half hidden by the shadows. You caught his eyes for a split second, the intensity of his stare making your pulse hitch. You quickly looked away, focusing on your drink, your nerves creeping back up despite the effort to push them aside.
You could feel his gaze on you, though, like a weight pressing against your back. You tried not to let it show, tried not to acknowledge how his proximity seemed to pull at something inside you, but it was impossible to ignore. There was a pull, something in the air, but you couldnât quite grasp it.
Sighing inwardly, you turned your attention back to the others. Just enjoy yourself, you remind yourself again. Donât think about him. Donât think about any of it.
Johnny clinked his glass against yours, a grin on his face. âHereâs to not letting the night pass us by,â he said with a wink, and you couldnât help but smile back, lifting your glass.
âCheers,â you said, the warmth of the alcohol giving you just the nudge you needed to ease into the evening. For now, youâd ignore the tight feeling in your chest. Youâd enjoy yourself.Â
But the eyes that lingered on you would remain, whether you were ready for them or not.
You pushed your chair back with more force than necessary, the scrape of it against the floor loud in the otherwise quiet bar. The conversation still echoed in your ears, but your focus had been on the man, Simon, for the past half hour. His silence had become suffocating, every glance he cast in your direction feeling like it held some hidden meaning. You couldn't quite place it, but something was off about him. His eyes, cold and intense, had followed you too much, made you second guess every word youâd said.
"Im... gonna go powder my nose," you muttered, more to fill the silence than anything else. You didnât wait for a response, the words barely out of your mouth before you were already making your way across the room, past the low hum of idle chatter and the clink of glasses.
While you were in the bathroom, the entire team turned their attention towards Ghost, each of them sizing him up, starting with Soap.
"What is wrong with you?" Soap asked, his voice a mix of disbelief and amusement.
"What?" Simon blinked, genuinely confused.
"Mate, you've been gawking at her all night," Gaz added, raising an eyebrow, his voice teasing but laced with concern.
"Shit. Are you serious?" Simon muttered, running a hand through his hair, but his gaze didn't stray far from where you had just disappeared.
Roach, leaning back casually with his drink in hand, nodded thoughtfully. "Yeah, it's like youâve been stuck in a staring contest with her since she walked in."
Price, who had been watching quietly, shook his head with a resigned sigh. He snuffed out his cigar in the nearby ashtray, eyes narrowing as he met Simon's gaze. "If you scared her off, I doubt youâll get another chance, lad."
Simonâs jaw clenched. He hadnât realized how obvious it had been, but now that the team was calling him out on it, he felt the heat rise in his chest. He hadnât meant to make you uncomfortable, but the pull to look at you, to remember what had sparked your connection all those years ago had been almost magnetic.
âAlright, alright,â Soap teased, leaning in, a smirk tugging at his lips. âJust don't burn a hole in her head.â
âShut up,â Simon muttered, his mind racing, trying to figure out how to fix this without making things worse.
Price shared a look with the rest of the team, a silent understanding passing between them. While Soap might have been the one to set this whole thing in motion, it didn't mean the others didn't have contingencies in place.Â
Soap got up first, stretching a bit. âGonna make sure no one's tried to get in my car,â he said with a casual tone.
âIâll come with you,â Gaz chimed in, already pushing himself up from his seat and following Soap toward the door.
A minute later, Roach also stood, excusing himself without a word, and then Price followed suit, his movements deliberate. âIâm gonna make sure theyâre not up to anything,â he said with a knowing glance.
With everyone out of the immediate area, the bar suddenly felt quieter, and the tension in the air seemed to thicken. It took Ghost only a second for it all to clickâhe had been set up. Without thinking, he bolted from his seat, rushing outside just in time to catch the taillights of Soap's car disappearing down the street.
He cursed under his breath, but before he could make another move, his phone buzzed in his pocket. Pulling it out, he glanced at the screen. There, in simple words from Price:Â
âGood luck.â
Ghost stood still for a moment, phone in hand, as the weight of the situation hit him. His heart thudded in his chest. This was it. There was no turning back now.
By the time you returned to the table, you felt a bit more at ease. The night out wasnât all that bad⊠it was just that Johnny had some weird taste in friends. Well, mostly the tall one. You couldnât help but notice how everyone seemed to have left, a pit forming in your stomach at the thought of being ditched.
You let out a quiet sigh, about to gather your things and head out when your phone lit up in your purse. Pulling it out, you saw a text from Johnny.Â
"Emergency, looks like one of the beers wasn't that good, poor Kyle threw up."
You paused, reading the message again, a small smile tugging at your lips. Aww⊠nevermind. At least they hadnât forgotten about you after all.Â
"Hope he's okay." You replied quickly, grabbing the straps of your bag when suddenly a hand landed on top of yours.
You looked up, meeting the intense gaze of Simon. Seriously? You couldnât help but think. They took everyone but this guy?
You forced a smile, trying to pull your hand away, but Simonâs grip was firm, not unkind. âLook, I had a decent time, but I have to goââ
âJust a minute,â he interrupted, his voice low, steady, almost pleading. There was something about the way he said it that made you pause, something different than the usual small talk.
"Fine." The word slipped out before you could process it, and you cursed yourself inwardly. Really? You just agreed to stay with the guy who hadnât stopped staring since you met him. You sat back down, and he mirrored you, settling across the table.Â
Silence stretched between you, his intense gaze unwavering. He didnât so much as blink, and you couldnât help but feel more unsettled by the second.
What the hell is his deal?
âLook, if you're just going to be a creep, I don't think I want to meeâ"
âDo you remember Armed Forces Day?â His voice cut through your words, quiet but resolute.
Okay, this took all day, I wanted to give you all something long to read incase I disappear for finals (which I might)

The Abyss Of Affection
Aemond Targaryen x wife!reader

His calculated footsteps echoed in the hallways of the keepâs royal chambers, following the elder of the Kingâs brothers - Prince Aemond Targaryen - back to his chambers after an incredibly taxing day filled with fulfilling duties that were not his own and patrolling the city atop his beloved Vhagar, the Queen of all Dragons. Many would argue a dragon fit for a true king, Aemond would agree. Finally rounding the corner, he greeted the familiar face of Ser Steffon giving a cordial nod as he made his way through the doors of his chambers, removing his cloak as he went.Â
The sight that greeted the prince was not surprising yet still brought a small, fond smile to his face. Laying on her side of the feather bed was his sweet wife curled up under the various blankets spread across the bed to combat the chill in the air as the citadel switched black ravens to white and summer turned to winter. Aemond made quick work of stripping out of his leathers and into a loose night shirt and breeches ready to join his wife in slumber.
Just as he was about to blow out the candles beside where they lay, he noticed a book beneath the blankets next to his sweet wifeâs sleeping form. He picked it up ready to place it on the small table on her side of the bed before taking a look at the title and realising it was the book that had so often stolen her attention away from him during the nights they spent together before the fire. The princeâs insatiable curiosity, it seems, also extended to what on earth his sweet wife could be reading in the non-academic books she so loves.
Flipping over to one of the pages he remembers her completely raving about with her lady in waiting, he began to read and as he continued, a plan began to formulate.
She was met by a chorus of âgood morrow, Princessâ to which she responded with decidedly less vigour and an almost petulant expression as she discovered that her husband was in fact not in their shared chambers. This prompted the other ladies in the room to barely suppress their giggles knowing how not seeing her husband in the mornings can dampen her mood - not that the Prince fairs any better himself.
âDo any of you happen to know where my dear lord husband is at such an hour?â she discontentedly drawled.
The handmaidens exchanged uneasy glances with one another which, of course, did not escape her watchful gaze and she probed further with a single raise of an eyebrow. Silence ensued for a couple of very awkward, tension-filled seconds until the Princessâ lady in waiting - Elaena - stepped closer and stated that âwe are not at liberty to say, Princess,â adding a slight curtsy at the end.
Again silence ensued only interrupted by her own chortle âwhat in the name of the seven do you mean ânot at libertyâ, forgive me but I am utterly confused.â
âIâm afraid Prince Aemond has forbidden us to speak of it Princess and he reminded us that if you demanded⊠well Princess he said for us to remember that his orders outrank yours,â Elaena hesitantly explained, shoulders visibly tense at her admission.
An even longer silence commenced, this one not so easily interrupted. Instead the Princess slightly nodded her head and proceeded to load some fresh fruits onto her plate before biting into a strawberry that was surprisingly ripe given the season. She sat with a contemplative look on her face, her ladies worried she was deeply hurt when really she was wondering what the best way to punish him would be, perhapsâŠÂ
She was pulled from her musings by a knock on the chamber doors which one of the handmaidens - Lyla - was quick to answer. She carried a written message delivered by a page boy and with mild curiosity the Princess unravelled it and began to read.
She then very calmly got up, retreating to the sitting chambers with her beloved book and instructed her handmaidens to leave her, and on their way to âinform Prince Aemond that if he wishes to have an audience he may do so in our private chambers, I am not a dog to be called to heel and told to wait in the dragon pit until he finally chooses to descend from the skyâ.
Suddenly Queen Helaena turned to look directly into the Princessâ eyes causing her to startle. Helaena grasped her arms in a gentle hold and decided that âyou will be very happy with it,â and while not always understanding but being kind to Helaenaâs ways, the Princess confidently nodded in affirmation.
âIâm certain I will be sister,â followed by a soft squeeze of the Queenâs hands she quickly let go to ensure she didnât crowd the gentle soul beside her.
Turning her attention to Maelor, the youngest of the King and Queenâs children, she scooped him into her arms and brought him to her lap where she proceeded to grab the second less than perfect dragon (Daeronâs first attempt) and began to play with him. Entirely encompassed by the babe's soft giggles she failed to notice the shadow of her husband nor feel the piercing but fond gaze he stared at the two of them with - giving him a few ideas of his own.
Finally sensing his presence, his sweet wife turned towards him and pinned him with a markedly less than sweet gaze. After returning Maelor to his mother, the princess stood, brushed off her dress, said her goodbyes to the children with the promise of visiting again soon, squeezed Helaenaâs hand and strode straight past her dear husband without so much as a look in his direction.
Aemond Targaryen, the incredibly formidable man that he is, immediately turned and followed (and after speaking with her lady in waiting) trailed a step behind knowing that if he got any closer he may well be subject to a more physical attack.
âSweet wife - ,â his mouth slammed shut, the sound of his teeth clacking together audible as she turned around to face him and he thanked the seven that theyâd at least made it to the hall outside their chambers to give a small amount of privacy.
âHow can I be of service to my Prince? Shall I draw you a bath, change your linens, perhaps wash them too? After all, your commands should certainly be obeyed by all who rank lower than you lord husband!â and Aemondâs moment of stunned silence was all she needed to turn and push the door to their chambers open, her hair almost whipping Aemond in the face. After clearing his throat and righting his already perfectly placed doublet, the prince followed after his wife. This time the nod to Ser Steffon was slightly more stiff and definitely less cordial.Â
Upon entering their chambers, it became apparent that his sweet wife was just getting started on his torture as she began shedding her day clothes to ready herself for dinner that night as it had become customary for the royal family to dine together per the Dowager Queen Alicentâs request. As he walked in she turned to look at him, again raising a single eyebrow, a silent demand for him to explain himself and explain he did - after he managed to bring his eye back up to meet hers.
Aemond nervously began to describe how he had to go patrol the city earlier than expected that morrow and after his wifeâs further probing he let out a sigh as he admitted that he was hiding something from her but he insisted she could not know. Instead he decided to avert her attention by apologising for his blunt and insensitive instructions, insisting his mind was incredibly preoccupied and he meant none of it.Â
After a beat, his sweet wife looked back up at him and simply agreed that it was foolish of him before continuing to prepare herself for dinner. With the guilt still weighing down on him, Aemond tried once more to draw a further reaction from her and informed her that âwe will not be dining with the family tonight, my heart, it shall just be the two of us so please do not feel obligated to wear something that will placate my motherâ. The huff of air Aemond let out could have rivalled Vhagarâs as his Princess finally met his eye and gave a smile of her own.
The Princess very quickly decided that she would never again allow her husband to guide her through the gardens, at dusk, alone with no idea of where on earth he was going. She marvelled at how her Prince had spent the entirety of his life growing up within the walls of the keep while she had only moved here three years past when their betrothal was finalised and yet she knew the gardens a lot better than he did. They walked in silence with the occasional mumble of âIâm sure it was this wayâ, âperhaps itâs actually that wayâ and what she is sure sounded like a âseven hells this is so embarrassingâ.
Eventually, the Princess abruptly stopped walking causing Aemond to turn back to look at her with wide eyes as though he was expecting her to end the night and head back into the castle (which definitely seems tempting) but instead she drew herself closer to him tracing circles on the back of his hand with her thumb and sweetly asked him to tell her where he wanted to go and she would lead the way. Confusion clouded her eyes when she saw her husbandâs gaze darken with disappointment at not being able to keep the location secret before giving a rather reluctant nod and mumbling the area of the gardens.
This again caused her to still, as not long before setting off on their adventure sheâd gotten to her favourite scene in the romance novel she was currently re-reading which described the relationship between two lovers from flea bottom snook into the castleâs garden and had a picnic beneath a section where two trees intertwined to look like a heart. She let out a small laugh at the coincidence before leading him in the direction of the gardenâs that she learned the trees actually existed in when she went searching after her first time reading the book.
As they stepped through the clearing, fingers interlocked, Aemondâs sweet wife stopped dead in her tracks. The scene before her bringing an onslaught of tears to her eyes and Aemondâs own eye drank in her reaction feeling his chest expand with pride. The scene was exactly as described in the books - granted the royalty version - with a table in the middle of the clearing, the heart trees standing right before it. A small fire was lit as the air was cool and biting and she thanked the gods for giving her a husband intelligent enough to organise for a canopy to be set up over the table. Even the food was some of the meats and fresh fruit described in her book.
After taking it all in, the princess - now thankful for there being no escort - fisted her husbandâs nicest leathers and brought him down for a bruising kiss, whispering thank youâs and I love youâs in between.
Aemondâs own heart was beating out of his chest as they finally pulled away from one another and he helped her into her seat before taking his own next to her, never letting go of her hand - not even when they began to eat, opting to do it with his left hand instead, and certainly not as his sweet wife moved from her own seat into his lap, playing with his hair and telling him just how wonderfully he had done.
If you asked anyone who crossed paths with the Prince and Princess that night, theyâd tell you that never before had they ever encountered two individuals looking so shamelessly in love. Theyâd express their shock as they witnessed their Prince, the fierce rider of Vhagar, laugh freely with his lady wife with his arm firmly wrapped around her waist and the Princessâ hand rubbing up and down his back.
As the Prince once again encountered Ser Steffon, he greeted the guard with a slightly more reserved smile than his wife received and instructed him to have a good night while he ushered his giggling wife inside. Once they were out of sight Ser Steffon let out a small chuckle of his own before walking a few paces down the hall, away from the door.
As the very smitten couple climbed into bed the Prince once again asked his sweet wife if everything met her standards to which she simply pulled herself up and decided on showing him how pleased she was instead - but not before ensuring the punishment she decided on earlier was carried out.

âThat may be your parent, but that is my spouseâ

[Inspired by]
The soft golden hues of the setting sun filtered through the grand windows of the Luofu, casting a gentle glow over the spacious room. Jing Yuan, as usual, had positioned himself at the balcony, gazing out over the vastness of the Xianzhou, but his eyes werenât as focused as they usually were. His attention had subtly shifted, and there was a trace of amusement in his gaze as he watched you and your child in the middle of a lighthearted confrontation.
"Don't you dare try to sneak out again, little one." you said firmly, your voice calm but with an undeniable authority that only a parent could master. You stood with your arms crossed, watching as your child huffed in defiance.
"But I wanted to go to the garden!" the child protested, their small face scrunching up in frustration. "It's boring here!"
"You can go to the garden after finishing your lessons. Now, come on, letâs be reasonable."
Jing Yuan smiled faintly, his sharp eyes flicking to the scene in front of him as he leaned against the railing. From his vantage point, he could see the way your patience was slowly running thin. But it was clear you weren't losing your cool. You never did.
However, his smile faded as he saw the little oneâs growing agitation. Their defiance was turning into something moreâsomething less playful. With a sudden outburst, the child scowled, pointing a finger at you in irritation.
"I hate you! Youâre so mean!" they shouted, their tiny fist shaking.
Before you could respond, your child made an impulsive move. In a burst of anger, they swung their arm toward you, trying to smack your arm in protest. It was a childish actionâundoubtedly a sign of frustrationâbut the intent, even from such a young one, still struck a nerve. You blinked, surprised at the sudden aggression, but before you could react, a low voice interrupted the tense moment.
"That may be your parent, but that is my spouse. And you will not be disrespecting them like that."
Jing Yuanâs voice rang out, clear and firm, cutting through the tense air. His tone was not one of anger but of authorityâan unwavering reminder of the respect that was due to you, no matter how young or headstrong the child might be.
The child froze, the smack they had intended to deliver now hanging awkwardly in the air. Jing Yuan stepped forward with the effortless grace that came from centuries of experience. His tall figure loomed with quiet command, his gaze soft yet piercing as he knelt down to meet their eyes.
"You know better than that, donât you?" he asked, his tone still gentle, though the weight of it carried deep, fatherly disappointment. "Respect is something that should come naturally, not just when itâs convenient. Now apologize."
The child, clearly overwhelmed by the sudden shift in the atmosphere, lowered their head, guilt washing over their face. "Sorry, Mom/Dad⊠I didnât mean itâŠ" they mumbled, eyes downcast.
Jing Yuan nodded, his expression softening. He reached out, placing a hand gently on your shoulder in a rare display of affection, the gesture tender as if to reassure you. You met his gaze, the quiet understanding between you both palpable in the moment.
"Donât worry," Jing Yuan murmured, his voice barely above a whisper, "Iâll handle this. You donât need to bear the brunt of their frustration."
You gave a soft smile, nodding in appreciation. "Thank you, Jing Yuan," you replied, your heart swelling with affection for both him and the little one. "But you know, theyâre just learning."
Jing Yuan chuckled softly, a warm sound that lingered in the room. "Yes, they are. But that doesn't mean we let them forget their manners."
With a final look at your child, who was now quietly contemplating their actions, Jing Yuan stood up straight and turned his attention back to you, the occasional glimmer of weariness in his golden eyes. Despite the aura of wisdom and authority he wore like a second skin, you could still see the parent beneath it allâa person who was willing to move mountains to protect their family.
And with that, everything felt in its proper place.

funny seeing you here | Drew Starkey x black!fem reader
summary: after seven months of not seeing his face, you find yourself at the same party heâs at. And he clearly made it his mission to be noticed by you. So what are you gonna do now?
warnings: alcohol consumption, suggestive smut
a/n: Here's part 3 of nothing to say when heaven falls. As the title called it, it was 100% inspired by âfunny seeing you hereâ by Jack Harlow which I recommend listening to during the reading. Comments and reblogs are never required but always very much appreciated đ«¶đ»

"Hey," he said and you could barely hear the smile on his voice. "I didn't expect to see you here tonight."
No escape.
"Hi," you replied with a low voice, unsure if he had heard it over the loud music. "Yeah, I'm with Frankie."
"Uh, yeah, I saw her," he voices as he scoots slightly closer to you. "This does look more like her scene."
At that, you nod and mentally curse the fifth generation of this damned bartender who has yet to finish your drinks.
Everything around you is spiraling at this point. You were not ready for this, especially with how casual he's being about everything. It was not in your plans to run into him tonight and all you wanted was to get as far away from him as you could.
Your salvation comes in the shape of your friend, who you can see right past her excitement about how much she just wanted to take you out of that situation. She held your arm lightly and, it was as if you weren't waiting for almost ten minutes the bartender returned with both your drinks.
"Hey, uhm, what's taking so long?" Frankie says and pretends to be shocked when she looks up at Drew. "Oh hey! Long time, no see." As the words leave her mouth you notice how the stiff smile on her face shows her displeasure at his presence.
"Hi Frankie," he says a little taken back by her and you notice how he starts tapping his fingers against the glass the same way you were doing moments ago. A shared habit that the both of you didn't get to brush off of one another it seems.
"Let's go, babes! I still have so much to tell you."
With your drinks at hand, you followed her and immediately felt a weight fall off of your shoulders. Still, you weren't able to hold back and you looked over your shoulder just to see him checking you out.
Your face was burning after that and you just prayed to whatever God that Frankie was able to distract you enough to make you not act on the alcohol in your veins.
It wasn't a secret to anyone the effect that he had on you. I mean you were together for years and about to get married - obviously, you had to be attracted to him. And he just had this thing about him that made it very hard for you to ignore.
He looked handsome, but that was no surprise. He always looked so fine, except this time it seemed like he had filled out more. The black shirt he was wearing fitted him perfectly, the sleeves stretched around his biceps, and even from a glimpse you were able to notice how much bigger they were since you last saw him. His outgrown hair now looked more like a growing mullet and, god, that did work with him. At this point, you werenât sure if it was the alcohol or your brain talking about how insanely good he looked.
âY/N, honey, you good?â She asked once the both of you got back to your spot.
âYeah, yeah. Sure, why wouldnât I be?â You retorted to which she just stared at you with uncertainty.
âI donât- I donât know, you just looked like you were about to vanish in thin air back there,â she voices smoothly still looking at you.
âYeah, I uh, I guess I just wasnât expecting that to happen,â you confess.
She nods and sips on her drink, her own eyes scanning the room this time, and once she looks up at you once more you see a glimpse of regret there.
âI didnât know. Had I known I wouldnât have brought you here,â She declares with sorrow and you shake your head quickly.
âHey, I know that! Donât worry, Iâll be fine.â
At that, neither of you is sure enough.
You could feel that it was way past one in the morning, the air just felt different. The party was less crowded but the music was still blaring through the speakers. Frankie was entertained in a talk with a tall dark-skinned man who was whispering in her ear every now and then earning giggles from the brunette.
You had been nursing the drink in your hand for a while now, the condensation around the glass caused your fingertips to be wet. You were much more drunk than youâd normally get, but for once in a long time it felt good to let yourself go.
Still the numbness the alcohol brought, did not evade the feeling of what happened earlier. It had been so long since the last time and you were not expecting to see him like that. What wouldâve happened if Frankie had not interrupted him? What would you have done?
âHey,â You heard Frankieâs voice closer to your ear this time, âWould you mind if I left for a while? I promise Iâll be back and you wonât even notice.â
It amazed you that even with the amount of drinks she had, her pleading eyes didnât fail to convince you. And honestly, she needed to have fun with the hot guy as well. So with a nod you sent her off watching her excitement as she followed him.
At least you were alone with your thoughts and could think and rethink everything, from your coffee orders to your love life as you downed the last of your blue coloured drink. But as if they were trying to prove a point, the spot next to you did not remain empty for long.
The same cologne that woke forbidden memories hours ago was flooding your space once again but this time it was subtle. Almost as if it was fading and taking with it your sanity.
âI thought weâd never get the chance to talk again,â was what he said and it didnât take you long to notice that he too was a few drinks in.
Guess this isnât a sober conversation, huh.
âIâd rather if it stays like that,â you mumbled as you watched him push a bottle of cold water towards you.
âCome on, this is a quieter spot. Iâve been wanting to talk to you for a while now,â He leans in, just like Trent did with Frankie.
It felt so weird being close to him like this after so long. It felt like getting something youâve wanted for so long but you were scared that you got the wrong thing. Does that even make sense?
âHow's your sister and your niece?â You asked since there was no escape.
âTheyâre fine. Both of them, Lily still cries a lot but theyâre good,â he voices as he sips from his own drink.
You unscrew the water bottle and take a big gulp out of it. Why were your hands so sweaty now? You didnât have an answer to that so you just nodded and looked around the room as less and less people filled the dance floor and the bar.
âYou look beautiful,â his compliment breaks the silence and goes straight to those confusing thoughts you were having. You have to control yourself. âI thought a lot before talking to you earlier, but I just couldnât help myself when you looked like this. So prettyâ
Even with his sweet words you couldnât forget who he was and the history between the two of you. It was hard because even if you denied it a part of you still missed him so much. I mean, you shared years of your life with him so it isnât that easy to ignore how much his absence affects you sometimes.
âWhat are you doing here, Drew?â The words leave your mouth before you could even process the thought.
He doesnât say anything for a while and you finally look at him. His hair was slightly darker than it was months ago, the low cut shirt he is wearing gives you a peak of his chest hair and some freckles he has there. Looking into his eyes made your blood freeze for a second, it was like you were drowning in the bluest sea.
He scratched his overgrown beard while he looked down at the cup he was drinking from.
âI miss you,â He confesses with a sigh.
You shake your head as you set the water bottle back on the table.
âNo, you canât do this now,â You say and pray that he can hear you over the music. âNot after everything.â
âI-I fucked up and I know that,â he admits and that makes you feel dizzy. âI want to make things right between us.â
âOh, now? You donât even know if I have someone,â you scoff. âHowâs Odessa by the way?â
âI wouldnât know. Itâs been a while since I last talked to her,â he says.
âWell so itâs best if I look over your shoulder since she might pop up from thin air,â your snide remark doesnât go unnoticed by him but he doesnât say anything.
âIâm not here to talk about anyone else but us. So can we please do that? Letâs find somewhere where we can actually talk because you just left and I know that what I did was the radon to that, but still.â
Your eyes met his for the second time that night and without much thought you found yourself nodding. You texted Frankie letting her know that youâd be getting an Uber home so she didnât have to worry about you and in the next second you were following your ex out of the club.
It didnât shock you that he was still living in the apartment you used to share. It looked almost the same just a few new pieces of furniture decorating the space and you couldnât help but ask yourself if she had helped him to pick them out.
âDo you, uhm, wanna drink something?â He asked after he locked the door behind you.
âYeah, I could use a glass of water.â
âOkay, lemme get that for you,â he says and walks to the kitchen.
You stay in the living room and take it all in. Why does his house feel this warm? Why did you feel comfortable in a place you chose to leave? Why wasnât this freaking you out anymore? Before you could begin to dwell in any of those questions, his footsteps against the wooden floor pulled you from your thoughts.
âHere,â he hands you the filled glass.
âThanks,â you say before taking a small sip from it.
âSo, how have you been?â He asks and you can see that he immediately regrets it, âFuck thatâs a stupid question.â
You canât help but chuckle at that and he quickly follows suit.
âI am okay. Iâve been worse, Iâve been betterâ you admit to which he only nods.
âI felt like shit, you know? I knew I was fucking up but I was so entranced by everything that was happening that I didnât realize how much it was affecting you,â he says as he leans against the wall.
âIt wasnât easy for me to come up to you and say those things but I was so fed up that I didnât know what to do anymore,â you admit as you take a step closer to him without even realising.
âIâm sorry. I never wanted you to feel like I didnât care about you or your feelings.â
âI guess I just didnât want to be an intruder in our own relationship. There was a point where I felt like I needed to talk to her to get to you. And I know there is history between you two, I just didnât want to doubt that there was still something going on.â
You sigh as one of your fingers traced the rim of the glass.
âI mean, there were a few times that I called your phone and she was the one picking it up. That made me feel so insecure and so scared that I was being lied to.â
âI-what? I didnât know that.â He truly seemed surprised by your words.
âWell,â you scoff as you shake your head, âI guess she never told you that I called you then.â
You turn around and put the glass on the centre table. He simply watched you and even if he might not admit it yet seeing you in his house again made something in chest warm. Something in him just told him that you belonged there.
âYou see, this is what I am talking about.â You add without turning to look at him. âThis shouldnât be normal.â
âI really didnât know and when I looked at my calls registry your name wasnât there so I assumed she was telling the truth.â
He did feel guilty about that, but he wasnât lying. He truly didnât know of that happenstance.
You sigh and you look back at him, your eyes burning as you feel a deep sense of deja vu.
âI really thought you were it for me, you know?â You confess and a tear streams down your face.
As if it was a reflex thing, he immediately reaches for you and wipes the tear off your face.
âI am so sorry. You didnât deserve any of that,â he says looking into your eyes.
You didnât know if it was the alcohol or the vulnerability that enveloped the both of you, but you couldnât help more tears from following that first one. It felt so calming to be talking about this with him after so long, like a ton was being taken out of your chest. Obviously you had people to talk to but it wasnât the same.
You rested your head on his shoulder as his hands were on the back of your neck. He went in for the first touch, his lips kissed the top of your head. That made you tense up for a second and as you looked up your gaze was immediately captured by his.
His nose touched yours first and as he leaned in for your lips, you couldnât help but pull back. That happened twice more and you knew that he was frustrated but you were just so scared of opening up to him again.
âPlease,â he begs with a breathy voice and as you look into his eyes you are able to see the same man you fell in love with years ago.
After that you didnât resist anymore and his lips quickly found yours.
Oh.
One of his hands cradled your face as he deepened the kiss and the other was occupied squeezing the softness of your hips. Now, you couldâve lied to yourself about many things, but this was never one of them. He knew exactly where to touch you and how to do it.
You pressed your body against his and the sigh that left your lips when you felt his bulge pressed on your stomach. He moaned on your lips at the pressure and in a blink of an eye you had your legs wrapped around him.
He now held you with one of his arms as he guided the both of you towards the bedroom. His lips didnât leave yours, the only time he broke the kiss was when he pulled your lower lip between his teeth, but in the next second he was devouring them again.
When he reached the bedroom he didnât bother to close the door. He laid you on the bed and you breathlessly watched him pull his shirt off with one hand before he knelt between your legs.
Please God, donât make me regret this.

More than friends- Jobe Bellingham
Wearning: slight smut, +18, english is not my first language.
You were in the living room of Bellinghamâs house, sitting on the sofa with your legs stretched out and Jobe lying comfortably with his head on your lap. His hand was sliding gently down your thighs, and you were rubbing him in the hair, feeling his breath relax more and more. In recent times your relationship had changed: there was something different, a deep understanding that went beyond simple friendship. You were finding each other searching, exchanging long and understated looks.
While you were staring at the details of his face, you didnât notice that Jude had just entered the room. He had a curious look, amazed to see his brother so relaxed, almost abandoned at the moment, completely immersed in your attentions. For a moment, his eyes stopped on you, immediately perceiving that there was something different.
Jude could not help but notice how Jobe was taken with you, noticing his obvious erection. There was a complicity between you that Jude had never seen before, and he stood there, watching, trying to figure out if that moment was something more intimate than it seemed.
Jobe, perhaps sensing the presence of Jude, slowly opened his eyes and raised his head, finding himself face to face with his surprised look. "Eh... Jude, are you back yet?" he asked, trying to look as casual as possible.
Jude raised an eyebrow and smiled lightly. " Yes, but I seem to have missed something," he commented with a mischievous note, looking at you both.
Hearing the words of Jude, your gesture stopped, your hand hanging in Jobeâs hair. You felt a little embarrassed, aware of how intimate that scene was. But as soon as you tried to move, Jobe, however, does not seem to agree, he gently took your hand, bringing it back on his head, fingers that were squeezing a little' to make you understand that he did not want you to stop.
"Come on... donât stop," he whispered, almost begging, without raising his eyes to you. He was relaxed, as if he didnât care that Jude was there.
Jude watched, amused. "Youâre so cute, huh?" he commented, the tone a little mocking.
"Jude," muttered Jobe, distracted, not even opening his eyes, "donât you have something better to do?"
Jude laughed, shaking his head. "" All right, all right... Iâll leave you to your cuddling session. Enjoy."
As he left the room, Jobe let slip a sigh of relief, tightening his grip on your thigh a little more. " Now we can be at peace," he muttered, squinting as your fingers began to move through his hair.
You feel your face blush, "Youâre always so stubborn," you whisper, almost in a rebuke, but with a smile.
He looked up at you, a half smile on his lips. " Only when it comes to you," he replied, letting out more than just affection.
Jobe kept looking at you with a new intensity, a look that made your heart beat a little faster. Without saying a word, he raised his hand and touched your face, fingers moving to read on your cheek, slowly descending towards your lip. He began to play with it, caressing it as if he wanted to study every detail.
Your breath stopped, and you felt his touch warm your skin. Without taking his eyes from yours, Jobe came closer again, letting his face come closer and closer until his lips touched yours.
It was a slow, sweet kiss, but full of tension that you had both held for too long. You just had to answer, wrapping her face in your hands and letting go at that moment, as if everything else had vanished.
When he detached slightly, still close, he looked at you with a half smile on his lips. " How long Iâve been waiting for this," he whispered, not stopping to caress your face.
You smiled, still close to his face. "And apparently I wasnât the only one."
Jobe smiled at you, his eyes shining with a sweetness you had never seen. Without saying a word, she drew her lips closer to yours again, resuming that kiss with a passion that seemed to grow with every second. You felt his hands slide down your back to the hips, where they stopped, holding you firmly.
With a slow and determined movement, he led you to climb on him, making your bodies adhere in a way that made your heart beat even faster. You groaned as her boner shivered your dressed entrance. His hands were on your hips, fingers sinking slightly, as if he wanted to feel you closer.
You let your arms wrap around his neck, while you continued to kiss him, his lips moving with sweetness and desire against yours. Jobe detached himself for a moment, looking at you with a congenial smile, his breath slightly sluggish.
"youâre so beautiful" he murmured, with a cheeky smile and eyes that didnât come off of yours. You moaned as you heard his hands go down to your butt and squeeze it while he made you put your entrance closer to his erection dressed and rubbing you making both of them groan softly
"Jobe" you moaned in a low voice, not wanting to be heard by his brother, you let yourself go completely at the moment, clenching you a little more against him, while he was kissing you again, his hands holding you tight as if he never wanted to let go.
He guided your movements by making you rub and groan from the kiss as he slapped your butt to make your movements go faster.
Jobe nibbled on your lip as you groaned feeling close to cum and he guided you in the movements when you came and he followed you around. You were both breathing, your mouths close and still dressed.
He gently caresses your thigh as you were kissing again.
"why donât we take this to my room?" he asked, putting his hand under your shirt and you smiled nodding.

I think Iâm still just stuck on Oliverâs will they / wonât they wanting the audience to long for the relationship quote. As well as Tim quote about Buck figuring out who he is and who he wants. And Oliverâs quote about fighting to be together. I am still hopeful of the potential direction they can take this in. I do think this coming episode will be the make or break in a way. If we see villainizing Tommy (which I donât think they will based on the way both Tim and Oliver sympathized his decision) then I think its over but if we see Chim and Maddie helping Buck to understand Tommyâs actions then I think thereâs still a chance. Also to me having Chim and Maddie talk to him is very interesting. They were a couple that fought to be together, broke up and then found their way back to each other. Having them in the scenes with Buck post break up helps me to feel hopeful about the direction theyâre going in tbh. I donât think it will be resolved at all by the end of 8a. But I do think 08.08 may leave off with Buck deciding whether or not he wants to reach out.
Honestly, all the interviews are bullshit. Thatâs where I am now lol the actors never know wtf is going on. I think theyâve been told so many things and, like, 2 out of 20 have actually turned into something. There was a load of nothing with madney, henren, and mara. Tim had stated that Eddie would be a little left out while Buck and Tommyâs relationship grew and we got more scenes of Eddie with them than without. Buck struggled for like 10 seconds with whether or not he meant to hurt Gerrard, also nothing came from Gerrard taking him under his wing. The Ortiz storyline was meaningless, and Gerrardâs entire arc turned him into a joke. There was no âhurdleâ in Buck and Tommyâs relationship, it was a fucking boulder that came through and splintered it into a million pieces.
Ryan even stated that Tim could change the script in an instant, so the actors have no idea whatâs happening at any given time and neither does Tim apparently. Iâm pretty sure he goes to ao3, randomly selects a fanfic with his eyes closed, then writes his scripts based off of said fic.
I know some people are being positive and saying Maddie and Chimney will help him see Tommyâs perspective, but I have absolutely no faith in the show or its writing whatsoever. I would not be surprised if we got a, âeh, Tommyâs always been distant. Always a runner and tough to crack. You dodged a bullet,â from Chimney. Not because I believe itâs actually something heâd say, but because the writing is so shit that theyâd have him say it to further push Tommy out of the narrative. Then, idk, maybe Buck can go on his little fuck tour đ€·đ»ââïž

"--but hey, at least no villains showed up. Made our patrol a lot easier" Kirishima said as they stepped out the elevator of the agency building.
Katsuki let out an angry huff. He was still pissed with the stunt that Mina pulled earlier, which resulted in the two knowing about his obsession with you and your songs.
And in return for not blowing up at them, Kirishima came up with a compelling offer -- promising to buy him a limited edition vinyl record of your new album, which Katsuki surprisingly agreed at.
"Stupid racoon eyes just had to broadcast us patrolling the area. Of course no fucking villain would fucking show up" Katsuki rolled his eyes, irritation clearly visible at his face.
"There hasn't been any villain activity there for months. Besides, we're not there to fight villains. We're just checking on something" Mina corrected him, her grin not faltering despite Katsuki's annoyance.
"Yeah yeah whatever pinky" he dismissibly replied when the elevator opened.
Y/n's song Coincidence could be heard from the hallway as the three of them approached the hero office. Kirishima opened the door and they were welcomed by the sight of Shoto and Izuku, the former doing paperwork while the latter was on his phone beside Shoto, sipping at a cup of takeout coffee as they both sang along to the song.
Upon seeing the group enter the room, the two of them immediately let go of each other's hands, acting as if they weren't doing it before. Izuku let out a nervous chuckle while Shoto's normally impassive expression was now replaced by a surprised one.
"Oh hi..." the green haired stuttered. "I thought you guys were still on patrol. I didn't expect you to be back so soon" there was an obvious awkwardness in his voice.
Mina and Kirishima exchanged a knowing look, as if they had formed a silent understanding about the current situation. Her lips curled into a mischievous smile as she glanced at the two of them.
She immediately pounced on Izuku, pulling him aside, practically cornering him and peppering him with questions about his sudden appearance at the agency, specifically in the hero office with Shoto, asking as if she had no idea about the intimate moment the two were having a moment ago.
Katsuki's eyes twitched in irritation, his annoyance clearly evident as your song continued playing in the background. Shoto glanced between Mina and Izuku, then at Kirishima and then at Katsuki, who looked as irritated as ever with the noise Mina and Izuku were making.
Before Katsuki could explode at them with his usual verbal fury, Kirishima interrupted.
"Down boy"
"I AM NOT A FUCKING DOG" he growled at Kirishima, who only laughed at him in response, before pulling Mina away from the clearly uncomfortable Izuku, who appeared to have seen a ghost, specifically a pink blabbering ghost courtesy of Mina, according to Katsuki.
Katsuki moved to the office couch, sinking comfortably in its cushions, as the others continued with their tasks. Kirishima was chatting with Shoto about their patrol earlier and keeping Mina at bay from pestering Izuku again while she was giving Izuku playful winks, giggling and demanding he owed her some 'tea' for whatever reason.
He decided to scroll on his phone for the meantime. Searching your name on Twitter and reposting new updates from your page. Until he saw a reply on Mina's post of a stranger calling your songs 'stupid'.
His eye twitched in irritation as he immediately began typing profanities on his phone, posting a hostile reply in response to the audacity of the stranger who dared insult your song.
Katsuki didn't stop there. He proceeded to report all of her 'stupid' covers, claiming copyright infringement and even reporting the person's page, which was undeniably childish, but be was too irritated to care.
"Kaachan" Izuku's voice snapped him out of his online rampage. He looked up, shooting him an annoyed look, just in time to see Mina and Kirishima leaving, mentioning a dinner that is yet to be cooked. Not that he cares.
"What do you want, shitty nerd?!" He growled angrily at Izuku, storming towards the other side of the desk they were sitting at, slamming his hand down and glaring at him, accusingly pointing a finger in his direction.
"You" he growled
"Uhh me? What about me?" Izuku replied nervously
"And you" and then at Shoto who only gave him a confused look.
"WHAT DO YOU TWO KNOW ABOUT Y/N HUH?!"

teen dad sam monroe and reader would definitely argue when it came to naming the baby. iâm imagining it like that one scene from glee with quinn and puck, it would be a funny imagine.
Quinn: you wanna name our daughter Jack Danielâs? sheâs a girl!
Puck: Fine, whatever, Jackie Danielâs
Author's note: it's so sam coded I fell in love
You were sitting across from Sam in your cramped, barely-put-together living room, surrounded by baby name books and crumpled scraps of paper covered in doodles and crossed-out lists. Naming your baby girl had become an all-out battlefieldâand Sam was determined that his names were the best.
âOkay, hear me out,â Sam said, leaning forward with this excited gleam in his eyes you kept seeing for what felt like hours now. âHow about⊠Raven Storm?â
You just stared at him, pressing your fingers to your sore temples. âSam, sheâs a baby girl, not a rock band.â
He shrugged, unfazed. âYeah, but itâs a strong name. Memorable, you know? Like, people would be talking about Raven Storm for years.â
You sighed, trying to keep your patience. âSam⊠please. Sheâs a girl.â
âOh, okay, I get it, I get it,â He shrugged, leaning back in his chair. âAlright, then Maximus Danger Monroe.â he grinned proudly
You stared at him, raising an eyebrow. âMaximus Danger?â you echoed in judgmental tone
âExactly. Itâs strong, itâs powerful, it's cool. Imagine her introducing herselfâno oneâs gonna mess with Maximus Danger.â
you bore your eyes on him, already tired (yet surprised) of all the names he had brought up over the last hours âWhat? Itâs amazing,â he insisted, folding his arms with a pout. âYou donât get it, these are strong names! Theyâll protect her.â
âSheâs a baby, not an action hero!â you replied, surpassingly trying not to laugh at his pout, his incredibly devoted expression. Yet, it's meant to be a girl, not an alien. "We are the ones who should protect her, not some weird name"
Sam rolled his eyes. âFine, if you donât like âDanger,â maybe something more classic. Chardonnay.â He smirked, clearly testing you now
You sighed, counting to five in your head to ease down. âOh my god.." you sighed "Sam,â you began again, slowly (this time), to make sure it gets right into his head âYou want to name our daughter after wine?â
âNo, okay, Iâm serious!â he insisted âWhat about⊠Scarlett Raven Monroe?â
You shot him an exasperated look. âSamâŠâ
âPhoenix Blaze?â he added, trying to up the ante. âItâs unique!â
You buried your face in your hands, half-pleading. âPlease, just one normal name. Something cute, simple. Like Lily, or EmmaâŠâ
He scoffed. âLily? Sheâs gonna have enough flowers in her life. Iâm telling you, weâre gonna regret not picking something that stands out.â
âFine,â you said with a long sigh, trying not to smile as you leaned over and squeezed his hand. There was no way you'd fight him about the name - not with his stubborn character âWeâll work on a compromise thenâ
Sam smirked. âGood. I knew youâre smarter than this. But, you know, Phoenix is still on the tableâŠ" to which you shot him a glare

It's funny to see people asking about how to get the Shea "kiss scene" because they didn't get access to it at all when I actually had the option on mine, but picked the other romance choice there. I mean, obviously not mocking people who didn't get it, it's just the parallels and differences between playthroughs that are funny to observe.
Even in a moment of confusion, my MC could never be SO bold. The touching was already more than he'd ever dare to do under normal circumstances. It's interesting though, because I did hesitate between these options for a moment, but then came to the conlusion that with my MC's personality, he probably - at least subconsciously - would fear Shea would hate him way too much if he kissed them. I mean, he trusts Shea, but this is still a bold thing to do - even the touching is - and while he doesn't have issues with his human OR his barghest form like other helvlings could nor does he find himself like "disgusting" or anything, he still doesn't think he truly deserves Shea I'd say. He HAS been told ever since he woke up that he is basically worth nothing after all, and that he is the one who brought what happened onto himself because of what he did before - and even if he doesn't remember it, he actually believes that and just feels awful in that regard.
I'm always endlessly fascinated (and curious!) hearing about people's playthroughs. Obviously, I'm pushing a certain narrative when it comes to the helvling, and how they might perceive themself... so I'm not surprised when people tell me that their helvling wouldn't initiate contact, or that they wouldn't act in a certain manner (flirting and the like), or that they might be repulsed or have an aversion to touch (which makes sense, given the character's history).
I try to account for all sorts of playstyles, which is why I often add options in which other characters take the lead (touching or kissing, or speaking for the MC, for example). And I also completely get it if a reader would be uncomfortable kissing or touching Shea in that scene (whatever the reason), which is why it is not at all 'required' for any future scenes with them.
#well a lot of rambling to say that I don't really believe that there is a 'right' way to play#just different ones#and I hope to offer a realistic and gripping story that changes as you do so :-)#asks

Jinxâs eyes and lost innocence
This sequence.
A bomb like she made in her youth. Except that unlike then, this one works, this one explodes⊠With paint and glitter and powder, instead of intending to kill or hurt.
The man who shielded himself from it sure that it would be his end, surprised, checking himself for wounds with disbelief, covered in paint, as if it was just some harmless prank. Relief. But the second surprise comes with the sound of the gun behind him. We see their eyes shift, both of them, her steeling and readying her shot without urgency and him understanding with urgency that yes, he is going to die, at her hand, and the bomb was just a fluke, a cruel prank, a distraction at best.
And this. These are the seconds that interest me, what ties it all together. The way we linger. The way she lingers. To, during a fight scene, slow down the pace to watch her face as she pulls the trigger and feels the recoil of her gun, watch her take in how she just took another life, watch her mouth part and her eyelids flutter when she notices the kid.
There are not enough emotions on her face for someone who just killed, but also there are more than there should be for a cold-blooded killer showing as much practice ease as she is. Does she always have this moment when killing someone? Did seeing her paint bomb go off, shooting someone covered in her paint and glitter of it, make her feel anything? Did she see the change in her that empowered her that she both loathes and clings onto in that split moment, too? Why did she even remake that first bomb? Why make it work and make it work to shoot off harmless fun showy things? Why indulge in this remnant of her past, why with that innocent intent intact stills if it didnât get warped with the use of distracting an enemy to better sneak attack? Why taint that memory? Is the reaction only when she sees the kid?
Why does the camera linger, why does she linger? Weâre not sure, and Iâm sure she herself doesnât know, but what we know is that sheâs changed, and yeah, weâre low.
The kid, watching the fresh corpse fall, with curiosity more than anything.
Jinx with the gun gesture, reflecting their earlier conversation, referencing it. A shared secret, shared smirks, a relationship forming. Complicity. Jinx is knowingly or not taking her under her wing, shaping her by example like mentorship. A little girl that she resembled once getting desensitized to violence at her hand, encouraged to see killing positively. Empowering.
Episode 2 explores her past and upbringing in many ways, talking about Silco, her many mistakes, seeking out Sevika the last remnant of a person of her life with him and sticking with her, doing something for her despite knowing she should be betraying her any minute now. But fast forward to episode 3, the next time she has to confront it and herself.
Jinx praises Vi for finally using the right name for her, Jinx, and Vi talks about how sheâll kill her so she stops sullying the memory of Powder, blahblahblah. They exchange some punches and rows of bullets, we see Jinxâs eyes take in and calculate and shift here too, react and then react. Vi using the same mirror Caitlyn shot into intending to kill Jinx to shield herself from Jinxâs shot.
But this is it. When Vi uses her huge metal hextech fists to rip her invention, her gun, apart. Jinx is not the only one sullying memories, Vi is here, as an enforcer for Piltover, using Vanderâs choice of weapon, and she uses it to hurt her, destroy her things, her inventions whose worth was such a source of insecurity and identity growing up.
This is when Jinx sees so very closely, at the other end of it, her sisterâs rage and murderous intent as she rips metal apart.
We see her expression shift again and again during these few shots and the ones before and after. Her face as she watches Viâs through the wires of her gun. As Vi roars. She grows less confident, less sure, more nervous, dare I say more fearful.
The music kicking up. Jinxâs face right then cutting to Jayceâs with a very similar expression, staring at something he doesnât understand. "What have we done" he says.
Vi has always always been stronger than Jinx, inventions were how she made herself strong, and Vi can destroy them, Vi can rip metal apart.
And oh. Oh. This is truly really for real now. A fight to the death. No punches pulled.
She crawls away from Vi and itâs only the hextech malfunction that saves her.
Sevika smiles at Caitlyn biting her hand, with newfound respect as she draws blood. At her will, her bloodthirst, how far sheâll lower herself to hurt and fight. This is a scene about corruption arcs.
Jinx stands before Vi whose symbol of corruption just failed her, chained her to the ground vulnerable, and Jinx pulls the trigger just like Caitlyn, just like Vi was ready to do. No punches pulled.
Except they are. Jinx has steeled herself but Vi is softening. Vi is strong but she is vulnerable too and she can be made weak with Jinxâs guns and bombs.
And despite this when Jinx falls from her own weapon misfiring at a shot meant to kill her Vi is reaching out to catch, not hurt. Hold, not claw. Deflect, not counter.
Push, not punch.
Jinxâs eye shines pink like shimmer and this is when Vi shifts on the offensive, just before Jinx fires the shot that barelly misses her as she throws Jinx roughly at a wall.
And now theyâve fully switched places. The longer Vi has to fight Jinx the more sheâs conflicted, the more Jinx loses herself to the fight the more she rages.
The chorus swells. "Just when youâve done it all / you will turn it all / to ashes and blood" No words left to say, nothing left to mend.
Sheâs ready to die when she lunges at Vi with only her fists, she expects to die, hopes so. Knows from experience their respective results in that punching arcade game full well, even if she were to try with all her might, having tried all her might. Sheâs felt cursed by fate for a long time and she accepts it, just wants to go out with the most fireworks, to have been seen, to have mattered one way or another.
Vi punches the altar next to Jinx even as sheâs got her pinned down defenseless and she readies her fist. And she has all the time to do it, she could have done it, except she couldnât. And it costs them the chance to killl her.
The scene as a whole has a split focus on Jayce, Jinx and Vi centrally, and the song lyrics match that quite well. The full ones lyrics are worth looking at but to keep it quick: "How does it feel to reach the line that no one ever got to cross? Does it make you a god now?" A rethoric question of course, the song spells it out like itâs a damning wake-up call. The scene is all about regret. Our choices have led us here, it says. Jayce is dreading and afraid of what heâs done, Jinx is empty and as self-loathing as ever, Vi wants to stop blaming herself and is still conflicted on what side she should be on. "Catch the fire burning out your soul / Just make it die or you will turn it all / To ashes and blood" Jinx, accepting this is where she dies. Sheâs said in episode two she wants to kill the last of her family, but we all know itâs a lie, sheâs never wanted to destroy and break things, never wanted to cause ashes and blood. She wants to fix things. She wants things to fix. She just wanted glitter bombs and arcade games. She wants there to be something left she can fix, but itâs all just dust now.
Jinx has never been in that place before, she took the time to draw all those Powders and Vis on pillars while waiting for her to show up so they can kill each other. Sheâs lingering on the past again, bringing it into the now to use it as a stage for battle.
Jayce is reckoning with the consequences of what heâs created and done, that he might cause a lot of ashes and blood. Vi being corrupted too, by Piltover, by rage, by Jinx, by Powder. Vi is being turned to ashes and blood, this is what jinx has made of her, what sheâs made of herself. Vi is being corrupted too, by Piltover, by rage, by Jinx, by Powder. Vi has changed, too. Their whole society, their whole lives, their world figuratively and literally, itâs all crumbling.
"Every sin will be forgiven / If you lay down your weapons to the ground" But thatâs not really how this works, is it. Jayce or Jinx canât fix what theyâve done. Vi canât say this, canât fix her. No, theyâve dug their graves and the ground is where theyâll all be. Powder is dead.
Just when you think youâve lost everything. Everything can get ruined and marred a little more, always. The past is not only in the past, itâs here and itâs haunting. Jinx will keep sullying the memory of Powder for Vi and Vi will keep tainting Jinxâs memories of her sister and their childhood.

MACBETH AT HAROLD PINTHER (November 9th, 2024) - A REVIEW WITH SPOILERS
Now that Iâm back home, I can write a considerate and not at all crazy and nostalgic post about Macbeth.
Be careful, if you havenât seen it yet and youâre supposed to see it soon: this review has spoilers.
Please, forgive me if it has typos and if I repeat myself and if this post is so unhinged. I canât help it, I need to vent my thoughts and feelings.
Watching Macbeth was an otherworldly experience. Something you can only dream of and when it happens it changes all your brain cells.
When David first appeared on scene, from the darkness of the first lines pronounced by the witchesâŠwell, I wasnât expecting him. I kind of distinguished his silhouette in the shadow, and I wasnât sure that it was him. But it was. And when the lights turned on and he appeared on the scene full of blood and gaspingâŠwell I think my world shattered. Itâs hard to explain what happens when you finally have the chance to see someone you admire so much only from afar, an actor youâre so accustomed to watch anywhere everydayâŠand then he finally appears in front of you and heâs like materialising and itâs like magic.
I mean, he was there, with the bowl at the centre of the stage, and the blood stains and he was SO TALL and SO David and SO everything all at once.
I spent the entire 2 hours watching him from my STALL B7 seat, a PERFECT seat âbecause he occupies the scene at the right of the stage SO much⊠seriously, I was lucky to choose that seat and it was perfect. Of course watching the scene from upper seats would be awesome to better appreciate the mis en scene, but people⊠the HEARTACHE I got when I realized David and his brown expressive eyes were there, in front of me.
I couldnât not watch him, the way he possesses the stage, how he moves perfectly, and the lines, and the tone, a mixture of Crowley and Staged đđđ I mean⊠thereâs one little laugh he made at one moment that really made me think, âOk, hereâs our demon.â
And those few moments of hilarity, when they try to make the audience laugh (which I almost never did, because I was so tense for the dramatic effect of the whole thing), for example when he mimics another characterâs tone to mock him. Ok, that was an original Crowley.
And then Macbeth turns into a tyrant, and he is suddenly even more indifferent than Kilgrave when heâs there on the stage, for those two killing scenes that made me shiver and gasp in outrage. Seriously, the gasp I made when I saw him with the kidsâŠ
and I trembled all night (also because itâs terribly cold in the theatre đ).
ABOUT THE SCENES, MY FAVOURITE MOMENTS, THE STAGE AND THE DIRECTION
The scene of the apparitions is awesome. No rising him up, like at Donmar, fine, but still⊠incredible. With the red lights, and the actors with spasmsâŠAnd the kid actor (Raffi Phillips during my show) was incredible.
I adored how they performed the Banquo ghost bit. Intelligent, brilliant. And David out of himself was perfection.
The slow motion. It was my fave artistically bit, I think. The first time it happens, youâre so surprised. Itâs like watching a movie, only itâs theatre. But when it happens during the dance sceneâŠI felt my heart explode. And the way he interacts with Lady Macbeth, the perfection of the music changing and slowing downâŠOh sweet lord.
The glass. Gosh, I wasnât expecting it. I mean, I knew there were actors around the stage and musicians and singers, but I didnât know about the glass. And the actors punching the glass to mimic knocks and soundsâŠIncredible tension and suspence.
And the scene with Lady MacDuff and her sonâs death was incredible, INCREDIBLE. Again, MAcbeth being there on stage, as if he was really there (which he is not), holding the kid to soothe him and thenâŠthrowing him towards the killer. I felt it in my bones, David THRIVES in those moments of pure evil and you can only loathe Macbeth for being like that. And the same happens at the end, with the killing of the kid during the last fight, and when he breaks his neckâŠThe whole theatre gasped in unison, I swear.
MY GOD HEâS GOOD. Heâs so good.
The trees at the endâŠit was all so perfect and pure and a bliss. I canât really explain.
ABOUT DAVIDâS OUTFIT AND MONOLOGUES
The monologuesâŠhow many lines does Macbeth have? Heâs almost ever present on scene and heâs so good, perfect.
The âis it a daggerâ scene wasâŠđ„č I canât explain. And whenever he sat at the corner of the stage, being there even if Macbeth is not there. It feels like meta-theatre, as if they are trying to make us feel what he feels, even if youâre not supposed to be by his side.
The way he said âtomorrow, and tomorrow and tomorrowâ, with his perfect Scottish accent. It blew my mind. I was out of myself by then.
The kilt⊠wellâŠthe kilt đ€ Iâm not a sucker for David in a kilt. I wasnât. But I changed my mind. This outfit will hunt my dreams forâŠa while. Years to come. But even more than the kilt, his legs and socks, and the black jackets on the grey shirt. The jackets are seriously a masterpiece.
Also, David keeping the wedding ring on stage is the sweetest thing btw â€ïž
The legendary hair band, which disappears towards the end to leave space to Davidâs own hands; I kept watching enamoured every time he threw his hand in his hair. I mean, thatâs his mannerism, and I was there to see him doing it.
And his hands. Those scenes in which he came forward with his hands moving in the air⊠incredible. Also, those few times in which his eyes fell to the stalls and sometimes it felt as if he was looking right at you. Amazing đ„č
ABOUT THE CAST
The cast. Brilliant, talented performers, all of them. Again the kid, my gosh how good was he? And Banquoâs understudy (NIALL MACGREGOR) was GLORIOUS and he complemented David so well!!! I have no idea how good the first actor is, but believe me: this Banquo wasâŠa perfect complement to David. Even in his appearance, and I can totally see him playing a fine Macbeth last Tuesday, too.
Cushâs understudy (JASMIN HINDS) was AMAZING. I havenât seen Cush, obviously, but from the clips I watched online, she gives a different vibe to the couple relationship, and you can tell that David let her manage the intensity of their connection and touches on scenes. It was lovely. She was lovely. I found they had huge chemistry on scene, and they fitted together awesomely.
I think she was insanely good and I managed to tell her after the show, when she came out from stage door. She is a very nice and sweet person, and she also congratulated me for my 10th wedding anniversary when I said to her, silly as I am, that I came with my husband from Italy to watch a married couple dying on stage on the night of our 10th anniversary. She was amused, and she was lovely. I told her that I was glad I got to see HER on scene, and I meant it đ
The âpauseâ for comic effect performed by JATINDER SINGH RANDHAWA was insanely funny. All the knock knock jokes, him laughing at the audience and mocking random people, Oasis and Blur references, inside jokes about canceling the shows⊠He was so funny and he was so good when suddenly everything went back to normal and he became serious again in the span of a second.
How good are all these actors!
And Macduff, played by NOOF OUSELLAM. You know what? Heâs the one who made me cry. When heâs told about his familyâs deathâŠhe was so insanely good and realistic in his reaction, and the tension and drama on scene was so palpable and I cried with him. He was incredible.
As much as MOYO AKANDE, who was probably my favourite surprise of the night. I love her, sheâs insanely good. As much as everyone else.
In the end, Iâm so lucky that I got to see David performing, because if I had booked last Saturday, I would have missed the show and I would have been incredibly sad and disappointed (probably for the rest of my life). And David wasnât still in tip-top condition, because after the last fight scene (which is a very well choreographed fight with swords), when he kneeled, he coughed (and Iâve been told that was not in character) â and it was the only little thing that made you understand that he was sick the prior week. My god, heâs such a professional, getting back as soon as he could. He was perfect and this whole production was a rollercoaster of emotions and feelings and surprises and suspence. It really deserves the world and accolades.
And I know I did not get a chance to see David at Stage Door, but you know what? I donât care. Because this was a weekend that I totally dedicate to Good Omens in general (we went to St. Jamesâs, and Tavistock Square, and to the bandstand in Battersea Park, which is probably my new place of the heart (broken or not, one of my favourite places in the whole world, now). And watching David on stage after a year of obsessing over the show and him and Michael felt like a cathartic moment. Ok, itâs not like meeting him and talking to him, maybe. But itâs better: itâs watching him in his raw version, in his element. The theatre has this kind of magic that television canât provide. And Iâm insanely happy to have gotten the chance to attend to one of these incredible shows.
Now I know.

You know what the scene in the school where Jack left Joke to be surprised by his father cemented in me?
That the show is more interested in specific class commentary than in the commentary that the characters themselves offer about their situations.
Which is to say...
Joke's trauma is being underwritten and turned into something funny because Jack's trauma is the serious part of the show, because Jack's trauma from poverty overrules Jack's trauma from his struggles with school and with feeling like a constant scapegoat and unworthy of being loved.
Jack is allowed every trauma, he is allowed to say that he has never dreamed and that being poor means you don't dream even when he's the one who dreamed where Joke never had a thought of his own future in his mind but that wasn't important because he wasn't poor and he wasn't trapped in that way and so it doesn't matter as much ans his lack of dreams is never commented on.
Jack leaves Joke standing in front of a class full of children with a problem he can't solve and it's played as funny, as lighthearted, as if Joke on the verge of a panic attack is something that everyone should be laughing at because his trauma isn't treated as deep or serious. His father, who is the reason for most of this trauma, is sent in to rescue him and then they resolve their relationship. And... that's that! He's invited home. It's over. None of that trauma matters anymore and it was all meant to be funny, to be a joke, to be something Jack did for him... you know, humiliate him because he's bad at school. Funny.
The show is more interested in making class commentary than it is on character commentary and that's why I'm worried that Jack won't be the one to go after Joke but that Joke will have to come back again, that Joke will have to fight for them again, that it will always be Joke fighting because the show doesn't care about Joke's trauma except to solve it as quickly and unimportantly as possible so they can focus on Jack and his neighborhood.
And I'm not saying Jack doesn't have trauma or that commenting about that is wrong or that class commentary is wrong but what I am saying is that Moonlight Chicken did it better and deeper and faced down the fact that trauma happens no matter how much money you have and that trauma might be different depending on class but it's all still trauma all the way down.
Jack has his trauma but so does Joke but the show doesn't care about Joke's trauma because they want to make a commentary on classism and class issues and that means that Joke's issues can never be as bad or as important as Jack's because he's not part of the commentary or at least he wasn't. Now he is and so his new trauma is allowed but the old things? They have to just... stop.
I am struggling with this a lot so I'm making this post to get words and thoughts out. This doesn't mean I hate the show or the characters or the creators or even that I'm not enjoying it! This is just a specific aspect of the show itself and an ongoing issue in Thai B: that has frustrated me for a while tbh because it's so often that they can only honor the trauma of one of the characters in a relationship so the other gets brushed aside (see also: Mhok of Last Twilight).
I also really think that if the show had been more invested in the specific struggles of the characters we could have gotten even more painful social commentary about Rose's trying to help that never does and Jack's struggles with failed dreams and Hoy and Tattoo being trapped where they are and Aran arriving and just so much that would have been just as interesting as The One Ring of Crime.
#no tags here#criticism#i have so many feelings#i still really love this show#no denials#but i am frustrated and worried about the last two episodes#deeply worried tbh#that joke is going to keep doing all the emotional labor#because his trauma is not being treated by the show as trauma#but rather as just... things that happened that are over now#jack has a dream that joke never did#but jack is the one who gets to talk about not having a dream

Reverse 1999 KR released a special video for Pepero Day (Pocky Day), so here's an amateur translation of it by me:
youtube
Sonetto: Timekeeper, we organized all the letters we received on the day of the celebration and distributed them to everyone in the suitcase.
Vertin: Except for those who didn't receive the letter because of their duties, everyone replied with sincerity.
Sonetto: That's right! X sent us this "Scene Recreation Phonograph." How about we read the letters aloud with this?
Vertin: Then let's listen to it together.
"Regulus, take off your sunglasses!"
Regulus: Huh? You still haven't seen this Captain's face? That's okay, you'll get plenty of opportunities to see this Captain's cool appearance in the future. Save that moment for a bigger party!
"I never thought I'd like apples in my life... Mr. APPLe... don't drink too much and live a healthy life with Captain for a long time~!! To Mr. APPLe"
Mr. APPLe: Ah, a letter full of affection for me, Mr. APPLe. Thank you very much, but don't worry. The juice of this Apple flows smoothly and won't be thickened by alcohol.
"The Best First Line of Defense Discipline Assistant in the world!"
Matilda: Huh! It's obviously a letter addressed to me! But you must have been nervous? I think you forgot to write your letter. It's okay, I know what you want to say to this great Matilda Bouanich.
"To Alphabet No. 1. Stop drinking coffee and exercise."
X: Hahaha... the "Automatic Eating Sandbag" and the "Step Controller" are both working well. I don't think I'll need any more athletic inventions for the time being.
"Dear Ms. Campbell, you've always worked hard. I'm a human, but if you want, I can show you how I eat 100 tooth fairies. May all the people in the world eat tooth fairies as you wish... I love you, Ms. Campbell"
Tooth Fairy: Tooth fairies have good healing properties and taste delicious. But if you eat too many at once, it's not good for your health. I appreciate the thought, but please don't eat 100 tooth fairies, okay?
*The letter is a doodle of Marcus saying "Maaang"
Marcus: "Maaaang." "Maaang?" "Mang..." "Maaang!" (I beg you to listen to the VA saying this line, you won't regret it)
Marcus: I saw this word written a lot in the letters I received, but what does it mean? No matter how much I read it, I can't understand it...
"37 = 1ÂČ + 6ÂČ"
37: What a witty letter! The person who wrote this letter must have a cool number. 29, 41... or maybe 53?
"Dear Lucy, are you thinking of adding a USB-C charging port in the future?"
Lucy: It is true that experiments on the efficiency of data transfer via USB are being conducted in Laplace. The so-called USB charging method USB-C...
Lucy: Data error
Sonetto: Timekeeper, are you all right?
Vertin: It's okay, X's invention must have broken again
Sonetto: I'm glad you're okay, but the play button on the phonograph seems to be broken. Fortunately, the record function is working fine, so we should be able to record our replies to the letters.
Vertin: I trust X's machine, but we still have to be careful.
Vertin: Okay, let's get started.
Sonetto: Look at this, Timekeeper. It's a letter with a drawing of me! Next to the drawing, it says, "you found a good poem for me."
Sonetto: Thank you so much! I should probably write a poem in return, but... it'll take some time, so I'll express my gratitude instead.
Vertin: *reading the letter* "Vertin, please eat well and have a good time."
Vertin: Of course, I don't only eat sugary candies instead of food. I'll take care of myself. Thank you.
Sonetto: Don't worry, I'll be responsible for the Timekeeper's diet.
Sonetto: By the way, can I deliver this recordings to the people who wrote the letters?
Vertin: X's machine always give us surprise, so let's trust it again this time.

I Wish I Could Walk in Heels
AN: Alright, finally got this one done! It's a longer chapter than what I've been putting out recently so I hope you all enjoy it. Take it as an apology to make up for my slacking. I had planned to get it done in October, but then I got really hyperfixated on the live action and anime One Piece (still am to be honest). About 109 episodes in on the anime and have A LOT more to go lol. Anyways, enjoy!
Ps, this chapter is a little angsty. Little bit. At least I think it is. Also has gun violence and typical RE stuff. I noticed I gave up on the TW so hope none of you got traumatized. I don't think I write anything too crazy. We should all know what we've signed up for by now, right?
Chapter 23:
âMy, you are a popular one, Luis.â
Ada's comment rang very true. Your eyes struggled to see through the harsh rain from the storm that seemed to appear so suddenly. Even so, you could still see the torches and hear the angry chanting of the villagers surrounding the house you and Ada were supposed to meet Luis at. If you had to guess, nearly every infected citizen of Los Iluminados was in attendance of your little get together.
âI don't remember inviting them to the party.â You half-heartedly joked as you ran along Ada's side, falling slightly behind her once you reached a rickety old, wood and rope bridge that groaned and creaked too much for comfort. âYou?â
Your love huffed a weak smile, but could not respond when a sudden and harsh shake of the ground shook the fragile bridge and sent you both scrambling for something stable to balance and hold on to, so as to not fall to your doom.
Another shake.Â
You both glanced behind you.
Another.Â
This time closer. Something big is coming.
Ada tightly grabbed hold of you for what seemed like the millionth time in one night, grappling you both to the closest and safest roof top and off the bridge. This, somehow, gathered the attention of some of the villagers.
You stared in disbelief at the snarling giant that walked into the, already chaotic, scene.Â
âWhat in the actual fuck is that?â Even with all your prior experience with what should be impossible creatures, you are still somehow always shocked and horrified by something new.Â
At least you were never bored.
The giant took notice of you and Ada, before charging in your direction. Ada took action and zipped the two of you off of the roof of the now destroyed house, landing you both safely on the ground. The giant yelled angrily at missing, and turned around to face you once more.
âYou deal with the villagers while I handle this?â Ada muttered to you, grappling hook in hand and ready to swing on the houses to avoid the creature while simultaneously weakening it.
Noting your inability to deal with such a huge foe, you nodded in agreement. âBe safe.âÂ
She squeezed your hip in acknowledgment before fully pulling away. âYou as well, dear.â
With that, she turned to face the giant head on. âSorry big guy. Can't let you go that way.âÂ
And off she went to fight and distract the giant from getting to the house. While she did that, you ran to a safe distance away from the crushing footsteps and the crumbling houses, picking off the infected stragglers that roamed the area as swiftly and quietly as possible.Â
You didn't want Ada to have more on her plate than she already has.
Quiet wasn't an issue. If anything managed to hear you over the chanting villagers, roaring giant, and the howling wind and rain, you'd be genuinely surprised. And maybe even a little impressed.
Eventually, the giant fell on top of the two remaining villagers you didn't get to, dead. All was silent at last, with the exception of the pouring rain that was turning into more of a light drizzle, showing some sign of slowing down for at least a little while.
You saw Ada from afar walking towards the giant corpse. A pang of worry went through you when you saw how angry she visibly was. This wasn't normal Ada behavior. She usually managed to keep her emotions in check during missions.Â
The closer you walked, you noticed a wiggling creature on the giant's back, a parasite if you had to guess. It moved like it wanted to get away from its dead host. Away from Ada.
Ada stomped her heeled boot onto the creature to lessen its writhing. She took out her pistol and aimed it at the creature. âNow stay down.âÂ
One. Two. Three gunshots rang out into the stormy night air. The parasite went limp and Ada gave one final kick of annoyance to the felled creature, tucking her gun away before she faced you fully.
âYou alright?â You asked her, doing your best to mask your concern so as to not anger her further. She was clearly in a sort of fragile state at the moment. And you knew the infection had part of, if not everything, to do with it. She took a deep breath before nodding a yes.
âI was getting a little annoyed, but now I'm good. Let's go.â She beckoned, leading you away from the giant. âSweet dreams.â She snarked to the corpse as you left.
More than a little annoyed. That much was clear as day. Every plan and action took during this mission has led to one problem after another. And everything with Wesker and whatever the dangerous virus was coursing through her veins did not help.Â
You weren't sure how much time she had left before the virus took full control of her. Ada appeared to become more and more anxious about it too, as time went on and it seemed no progress was really made in retrieving the Amber.Â
Still, you kept quiet. You didn't want to further irritate her. And if she didn't want to talk, then you weren't going to force her.Â
Your thoughts were put on hold when you saw Luis safely strolling down the path just below the rock formation you and Ada were waiting on. He noticed you both and with a look of relief he sped walked toward you.
âLuis! Glad to see you made it out of that mess safe.â You called out with a grin. He smiled back at your genuine enthusiasm.
âOh, that? That was nothing, SĂ©norita.â He gestured behind himself with a careless wave, as if he didn't just get away from a swarm of probably one hundred infected people looking for blood. As if he's dealt with bigger, worse things at some point and this was just a walk in the park. He smirked at your look of disbelief. âGot a smoke?âÂ
âI do. The kind you like.â Ada remarked, though she made no move to hand over the pack of cigarettes he earlier abandoned with radio numbers written down to get into contact again.Â
âNow, where is the Amber?â Ada questioned, done with the pleasantries and wanting to finish the business at hand.
âUnfortunately, it's not on me at the moment.â He sighed as he walked forward and began to attempt a climb up the rocks to get to you both, grunting with the effort. âAnd you really should be telling me what-â He paused, huffing from the exertion, before continuing.
âWhat a good job I did. Busted my ass and managed to hide it right before I got caught. Which,â He stumbled during the climb, but saved himself from slipping. âIs why I'm still alive!â
His triumphant tone made the corners of your mouth tug upward in amusement, but it quickly turned into a frown once you glanced to your left and saw how his words affected the already on edge Ada. Hopefully she won't do anything extreme.
He had nearly made the climb, but still reached his hand out for additional assistance from one of you. You went to help, but Ada stopped you with a gentle hand on your arm before crouching down with a sigh to be more leveled with Luis.
âThe deal was we get you out of here when you deliver the Amber. No Amber, no 'protectionâ, Luis.â She reminded him. There was no room for nonsense in her entire demeanor. No more time to waste.Â
He gave a forced and slightly annoyed laugh. Likely in irritation from the long day he's had and Ada showing no appreciation for the fact that he was trying. Though in her mind, he wasn't trying hard enough. He was just wasting both of your precious time.
âSuch a stickler for details, huh Ada?â Her deadpan expression didn't waver. He glanced at you with a look you couldn't quite decipher, and you shrugged unhelpfully. He let out another sigh before grumbling. âAlright. I'll go get it now, how about that?â
He reached out a hand for help once more, waiting a long moment. You nudged her and Ada finally gave in and helped him up the small, yet hard to climb, cliff.
Once he was up, he patted himself clear of dirt and looked back to the house the villagers bombarded with a tired sigh. âAnd I do have something else I need to get too.â
Your girlfriend and you shared a look. You gave a huff and shook your head muttering, âThis ought to be good.â
â
The castle. Luis had led you both back to the castle. The place where your mission had officially started and where everything had gone to shit pretty much instantaneously. You'd hoped once you left it the first time that you wouldn't have to be back.Â
And yet, here you are.
Luis had climbed halfway up the side of the castle he had led you all to enter from before Ada had decided to just grapple you both up the tower, not even bothering to attempt the climb or help the struggling Luis up the rest of the way. He huffed and finished the challenging climb by himself, muttering to himself all the while.
You and Ada remained silent as you waited for him. Ada, not only because she was pissed, but also because she was stuck in her own head, running through the statistics of how many more distractions and side quests she had in her before the virus took over and she lost total control of herself. You just let her be, not having much to say that would soothe her concerns due to you feeling the exact same way.Â
You wish you could continue to tell her it would be alright, but the longer this mission takes, the more you see her condition beginning to take its toll. Not just in her behavior. Now it is visible in her physical appearance as well.Â
Her eyes had changed. The infection took form in black, vein-like, lines within her eyes. You had noticed prior to finding Luis, when Ada had been manipulated by the bug creature, that similar veins had covered her face while she clutched her head in pain. A clear sign of the virus and its power over her. So to see it remain permanently in her eyes with the monster not in sightâŠÂ
It was clear that time was running out.
âYou probably didn't plan on coming back here, eh?â Luis questioned as he finally crawled through the hole in the wall you've entered from.Â
âI had hoped not.â You admitted. You noticed Ada's calculated silence became more of a simmering, angry, silence. She was not happy with the man. Not one bit.
âWell, plans do change, no?â Luis said, trying to catch his breath from the climb.Â
Ada's silence gave him pause. Noting her mood, he turned to you hesitantly before voicing a question you all already knew the answer to. âAre you angry?âÂ
Her silence spoke volumes, causing you both to grimace. âYou're angry.â He concluded. He paused again, debating his next words. You shook your head, knowing by his hesitance that what he has to say won't be good.
He ignored your silent advice, quickly spilling out his next sentence. âThere is this one thing I must do before I can recover the Amber.âÂ
You winced, glancing at Ada who went from a silent simmer to boiling over in about three seconds flat. This won't be good.
Ada was giving Luis a look that could kill, and in return he held his hands up in a placant gesture.Â
âBefore?â She questioned, voice deceptively calm. And before you could stop her, she had her pistol drawn and pointed right at the man's head.Â
âAda!â Your startled call went ignored by her. Â
Heels clicked angrily against the hard floor as she took threatening steps toward Luis, who had raised his hands even higher in an attempt to convince her not to shoot. âThis is not a negotiation, Luis. So choose your next words carefully.â
âOh, woahâŠâ Luis fumbled, taking a shaky breath before taking a slow step to the side. Then another. And another. Ada's gun remained pointed at his head as she turned with him, finger on the trigger and ready to shoot if he gave her an answer she didn't like.Â
âAda-âÂ
âStay out of this, Y/n.â Ada told you. Her cold tone gave you pause. While you know it wasn't you she was angry at, you still didn't want to test her when she's like this.Â
Especially not with Luis's life on the line.
âIt's fine, SĂ©norita.â Luis said, before giving his full attention to Ada. You listened and backed off. âListen, there is someone who needs my help⊠You know me â always the good Samaritan!â
âLet me guess. Leon?â Ada smirked slightly as Luis looked surprised that she knew about Leon. Though her grip on the gun didn't falter.
âYes! Exactly! Leon and that young womanâŠâ Luis began to slowly back away. Young women? The president's daughter? âThey are both infected. They need this medicine. It slows the infection. And I know it works. I used it on myself. So I-â
âAnd why does this matter to me?â Ada interrupted, quickly closing the distance Luis had managed to make between the two of them. You could think of a few reasons why it matters.
Luis paused, and as if hearing your own thoughts, stated matter of factly, âBecause you too are infected.âÂ
Ada and you shared a look. You were surprised he noticed, given how most of this mission has been spent away from Luis with you and Ada chasing after him.
Luis shook his head, exasperated. âIt's what I researched for all these years. And I see the symptoms already showing in your eyes, Ada.â
For the first time since Ada drew the gun, Luis turned his back on her and walked further away with a little more confidence. Even when he was at risk of being shot in the back.
âYou must already feel the effects, eh?â He slowly crouched over a trap door, still somewhat mindful of the woman holding the gun on him. âThe medicine will stop them for a time. Just, trust me. You have a lot to gain, and nothing to lose!â
Ada seemed to agree with that statement. âOkay. But this is your last chance. We do this first, and then the Amber.â She placed her gun back into the holster with a final stern look, before turning to search around the room for anything useful to be brought with her.
âI'll let Leon know!â Luis exclaimed, happy he convinced her to help.Â
You were relieved. And so, so glad Ada agreed. This might be her only chance. Granted, it's not a cure. But it would give you both more time to find the Amber and find an actual cure.
You stood awkwardly in your current place as Luis reached for his radio and made a call. âHola. Luis here. You guys still around?â He questioned.
A very familiar voice snarked through the speaker of the radio. âWell I wanted to go home, but Ashley just had to see this castle first.â
Ashley. The president's daughter.
Luis grinned. âPerfect, because I have a present I want to give you. Medicine that will help to suppress the progress of your⊠problem.âÂ
âWhere do we go?â Leon asked.
âLet's see⊠Come to the courtyard inside the castle. We can meet up there.â Luis decided. âÂĄCiao!âÂ
With that, he hung up the call and turned to speak to the two women patiently and impatiently waiting for him.Â
He stood up and set to opening the trap door leading out of the room. âSorry to keep you both waiting. Shall we?âÂ
You glanced back at Ada and saw she was ready to go. You nodded as Luis opened the hatch on the floor. âWe shall.â
He grinned as he led you both out of the room and down a stairwell. âThere's a hidden laboratory downstairs. My stuff should be there.â He explained, jumping down the remaining gap in the stairs to the floor. Likely destroyed due to lack of maintenance in this area of the castle. You jumped down right after him with Ada right behind you.
âAlong with the suppressant?â Ada questioned.
âRight,â Luis nodded. âThough first we have to get past this locked gate.â He said, gesturing to the barred area that was preventing you all from going further.
âLeave it to me.â Ada abruptly ran off before you could offer assistance. You shrugged it off, not much you could do given this requires the grappling hook. Which you have yet to get the hang of using and probably never will.
As you and Luis waited, he decided to start up a conversation with you. âSoâŠâ
You raised a brow at his hesitance. As if he is trying to figure out if what he is about to say is crossing a boundary. âSo?â
He paused, muttering a quick âfuck itâ, then proceeded to ask his intended question.Â
âTrouble in paradise?â He asked, noting the growing tension between the two of you that you had since excused and ignored.
Not expecting that question, you stuttered and spat out an, âExcuse me?â Wincing slightly at how it came out a little harsh. Not intending to hurt the man in front of you, just taken off guard by the personal question.
Luis scoffed. âOh please! You two went from the ultimate dream team to practically walking on eggshells around each other.âÂ
âWe still work well together.â You answered, slightly confused by where he was going with this.
âYes you do, SĂ©norita.â Luis amended before continuing, âThough I can't help but notice the growing tension between you. What happened?â
You were curious, âWhy do you want to know?âÂ
âWellâŠâ Luis shrugged nonchalantly, leaning against the wall behind him with a grin. âI like to think that, despite our short time knowing each other, we are friends. You did save my life after all. And I think I'm allowed to be a little concerned about my friend.â
Your growing defensive demeanor softened slightly, sensing no lie coming from the man in front of you.
âDoes that mean Ada is your friend too?â You wondered. He exaggeratedly pondered for a moment.
âEh, I'm still not so sure about that one. A little testy, no?â He jested, grin widening when the joke resulted in a laugh from you. âBut in all seriousness, is everything alright between you too. What with the, uh, virus.âÂ
Your smile dropped with a sigh. âI'm just worried about her. She hasn't been fully herself. Not the usual Ada I've come to know and love. I just don't know what to do. I- I don't want to make it worse.â You quietly admitted.
âHas she tried to hurt you?â He asked with concern.
âNo. But I can see that she grows increasingly more worried that it will happen at some point. She's been slowly distancing herself from me. Not in the physical sense, but mentally. Like she's preparing for the worst case scenario.âÂ
Luis hummed, âI see. Well don't worry too much, SĂ©norita. We will get her the help she needs before the worst can happen. Okay?âÂ
He grinned with a comforting pat to your shoulder. You weakly returned it. Grateful for his considerate words, but also not entirely convinced it would be so easy.
After all, nothing on this entire mission has been easy yet.

At this point, I still question how bad Energon is for human health... like, there is a clear inconsistency for every new TF interaction but even in the aligned continuity the idea is bounced like a ball to all directions...
In TF Unicron Trilogy: Energon, Kick was sent countless times in search of Energon by his stupid father only because the kid had the special power to detect Energon... and then use the Energon to give Kick a power armor or something like that IDK.
In TFA it is shown how the mere presence of the All Spark can kill human cells and literally rot a human... but also reverse the process????
On TFP it is said that Energon is lethal, and it was shown with Raf after Megatron shut him with his Dark Energon canon. But then they have to sue pure Energon to save Raf and there are not other consequences after that...
In TFRB Blurr and Slavage gave a caveman a small Energon Crystal so he survived the current disaster that was destroying his home. IT. LITERALLY. KEEP. A. HUMAN. ALIVE! I keep the guy like a frozen fruit in the fridge kjahkajfhLSF
In TFES... IDK I don't remember well, but Mandroid was decaying in life. We could see his whole body rotting as the season passed. With Robby happened the same but at a much faster alarming rate...
And then there's the thing with the Botbots. I'm surprised no one has sued the store because the exposure to their products is causing limb loss, skin rotting, blood loss, sickness, and IDK what else jhdakjefhakf
I think that I might be forgetting more specific scenes and extra info, so feel free to discuss.

Shoto's First Kiss Part 7 is IN THE WORKS FRIENDS!!!
Thanks for your patience as always!
Ok y'all I am fully devoted to Shoto's First Kiss Part 7 right now. It is HAPPENING!!!!
This chapter is going to be light on smut, heavy on plot. But fear not!! We are building up for smut in future chapters. You'll see what I mean...
It's going to be part one of The Party scene. You know the one...the Spin The Bottle game that I've been building up to for like 100 pages. It's gonna be hella dramatic and fanservice-y because there will be ships. There will be pairings. There will be SMOOCHES. Who will be smooching!? I can't tell you yet but I think you're gonna love it!
Some hints for the chapter to come:
Shoto is dressed up and hot (not surprising to anyone)
Shinsou is ALSO dressed up and hot (surprising to everyone)
Neito is not really a dick now. We all kinda love him and turns out he's a good friend.
Tokoyami has feelings for someone!?
Mina takes things too far
Toru gets a little krunk for all of TWO MINUTES.
Ojiro has a really slapable ass.
This is all I will reveal for now.
Timeline!?
I don't have a drop date in mind just yet, but I'm thinking within the next 2 weeks (within a fortnight!? lol). I still want to add like 5-10 pages and then edit the hell out of this thing. Right now I'm writing in ridiculous detail and I feel like that might be a little boring for some people so I want to clean it up, add in some jokes, up the drama factor and give our dear Shoto a little more screentime.
As you wait, feel free to check out + re-read the previous chapters (linked below), or any of my latest one shot fics (also linked below). Idk why but I've been writing a lot for Dabi / Touya lately.
XOXO,
RedRiotUnbreakableHeart
