no one will ever convince me that house isn’t a truly good person. he’s not nice, but he is (often) kind. he has a net positive impact on the world, but a lot of the people around him loose sight of that when he does something particularly insane. they decide that he was never actually good, that he was just using everything as a means to an end, and they say that he’s ruined them and corrupted them and that everyone is worse for having been exposed to him.

foreman worries he’s become house, that he’s lost his sense of humanity and morality. cameron leaves because she’s convinced that house ruined chase and destroyed him irreparably. cuddy does believe in him, she thinks he’s ultimately good, but that he’s not good enough to be loved or to love well. dominika loved him, but house was so afraid that she’d leave that he ended up holding on too hard.

and then there’s wilson, who loves house unconditionally. he never stops believing in house, that house can be better. he gets angry, he tries to help house change, but when he ultimately fails he still stays. he always, always loves him. he sees that house is a good person, regardless of his defensive tendencies and emotional repression. he accepts house as he is, and that’s enough for him.
