Foxes III
Jenni Hermoso x Child!Reader
Summary: You don't like touch
Spain loses to Japan.
A four nil defeat that leaves everyone a bit depressed.
Football's a boring game to you so you didn't really watch it despite sitting on the bench. Football is Mami's whole life though. You know that and you know this defeat will make her feel a bit sad.
You think that's kind of stupid because it's just a game but maybe it's different when you play a game as an adult. You don't know why it would be different but you decide that it must be because the whole team seems a little depressed about it.
"It's like when you lose a fox toy," Tia Ale says to you on the ride back to the hotel.
"I don't lose my toys," You reply, staring out the window.
"Well, if you did-"
"But I don't."
"What about when you left Roja at home?" Alexia says," Your Mami said you were sad about that. This feels like that to everyone else."
You were very sad when that happened. You missed Roja like crazy for ages after you first moved to Mexico. That must be how everyone is feeling now.
You head bobs up and down in agreement. "Okay."
You don't ask anymore questions on the ride home and Mami takes you straight up to your room for bath time. She wraps you in a nice fluffy towel before helping you into your pyjamas.
Dinner will be soon though so she throws a jumper on top of your pyjamas to keep them clean so you can go straight to bed after you've eaten.
Your hand closes around one of your foxes before leaving the room.
The girls are still a little sad, even you can tell that and you're not very good at working out what other people's feelings are.
You're the only one that's enjoying dinner which is seriously saying a lot because the food here is weird and you're very picky with what you're eating.
"Mami," You say," You still sad?"
Jenni's a little shocked at being addressed so openly. You don't like doing that in public. You're fairly silent around other people. She frowns.
"A little, osita," She says," Why? Are you feeling sad too?"
"I'm not sad," You reply. Your fork scrapes the plate wrong and you cringe, a whole body shudder going through you as you set down your cutlery.
Slowly, you shift in your chair before standing to approach Jenni.
Like your speaking, you're not big on touch either, at least in public. Jenni's used to you hanging out by her legs at home because she always wears the softest trousers and you like touching them but skin on skin had never been a big desire or need of yours.
Jenni has a hard enough time getting you to accept affection at home. She's already ruled out touching in public apart from hand holding and that was only because the alternative was a leash and you felt that was too restricting and made you breath funny.
But you curl into her lap now and give her a quick squeeze that bore some semblance of a hug. Jenni's too shocked to hug you back, jaw slack as you slip off her lap.
You go to Tia Ale next, clambering up into her seat with her and giving her a quick hug that's so fast that she doesn't realise what's happening until it's over.
Irene is next and, after seeing Jenni and Alexia go through it, she's fully prepared. But the moment her arms curl around to hug you back, you're wiggling away and already on your way.
Just because you're giving out hugs doesn't mean you need to be hugged back.
Codi's after Irene and then Mario, who both know now to allow their arms to go limp when you hug them. You go through all the Barcelona girls you know before coming straight back to Jenni.
You tug on her hand and she very gently takes yours in hers. She's slow and careful just in case you want to pull away but you let her hold your hand.
"Mami," You say.
"Yes, Osita?"
"With me...please."
Jenni stands and you lead her over to the girls in the team you've missed out, the ones that you don't know as well as the Barcelona girls. You drop Jenni's hand to hug each girl before squeezing Jenni's hand the moment you can hold it again, you other hand coming up to run your fingers over her comfortable trousers.
"That was a very nice thing you did at dinner," Jenni tells you as she tucks you into bed that night.
"Yes. Tia Ale said so," You reply, getting all snuggly and comfortable with a fox under each arm.
"Tia Ale is right," Jenni says," Your cuddles really cheered everyone up."
"Not sad anymore?" You check and Jenni nods.
"No one's sad anymore."
"Good."
Jenni presses a soft kiss to your forehead and pulls your covers all the way up. "Night, Osita. I love you."
"Love you too."

drunken confessions
Theodore Nott x FemRavenclaw!Reader
Summary: Theo drinks a little bit more than he should....
Warnings: Drinking, No use of Y/N, Only mentions being in Ravenclaw once, and very cute???
Word Count: 1.6K
Note: Long time no see, my loves! I took a really long hiatus abruptly because life was kicking my ass badly. I decided that my first fic back should be a Theo fluff because who would I be if I didn't give this boy all of my attention? I hope you guys all enjoy it.
Banners by @cafekitsune
Music boomed through the Slytherin common room as you tried to navigate the sweaty bodies and screaming teens. You were trying to find Theodore, the person who had invited you. It was a celebratory party for Slytherin winning the quidditch game against Hufflepuff. You were in the Ravenclaw house but are good friends with many people in Slytherin.
"Oy," Draco pulled you to the side, "Looking for Theo?"
"Yeah, you've seen him?" you asked, gripping his arm so no one could separate you both. Draco nodded, pulling you to a separate room where Pansy, Daphne, Blaise, Enzo, Mattheo, and Theo sat.
"Finally, you're here." Daphne pulled you in for a hug, whispering in your ear, "Drunk pants over there have been asking about you for the past hour."
You glanced over at Theo, who was very drunk. "He never drinks this much." You whispered back to Daphne. She shrugged. "He caught the stitch. Winner of the game tonight."
You nodded, walking over to Theo and sitting next to him. He immediately grinned and wrapped his arms around your waist. "I've been waiting for you all night," Theo said, speaking slowly so his words didn't get slurred.
"I'm sorry. Why'd you drink so much without me?" You asked, tapping softly on his wrist. "I didn't mean to." Theo said, "Won the game, so people had given me a bunch of drinks."
You nodded, allowing Theo to go back to being the life of the party. Enzo sat down next to you, to keep you company as the party continued.
"So, what's your excuse for not being at the game tonight?" Enzo asked.
"That project for Transfiguration. My partner is an idiot who waited last minute to do his part, so I had to help him. I feel bad for missing it." You said, taking a sip of your water.
"Theo was upset that you weren't there. Probably what motivated him to win the game. That boy is obsessed with you," Enzo said, nudging you. You cleared your throat, feeling a sudden sense of nervousness. "We're just friends, Enzo."
"For now." Enzo wiggled his eyebrows. You laughed at him, rolling your eyes.
Did you like Theo? Yeah, but you didn't think he would like you back. He had a lot of girls on him and he could choose any of them. You were so wrapped in your mind and your conversation that you didn't notice that Theo had wandered off until you heard your name being called.
"Take Theo back to his dorm, please!" Blaise pleaded as he and Mattheo held a nearly blacked-out Theo up. You hopped up, grabbing Theo from them.
"Oh, hey, pretty girl." Theo drunkenly grinned at you. You smiled back. "You should've stopped drinking, Teddy."
"Really should've." Mattheo agreed. "You know where his dorm is. Don't worry about cleaning up down here, we got it."
You nodded, saying your goodbyes to everyone before walking upstairs to Theo's room.
"Pretty girl." Theo dragged out the pet name. "Your hair is so soft."
"Thanks, Teddy." You opened the door to his room, switched on the lights, and put him on the bed.
"Come on, let's get you in pajamas." You tapped his nose lightly, making him smile at you.
"You're so pretty, pretty girl. That's why I call you 'pretty girl' because you're so fucking pretty. Sometimes I think you're otherworldly because of it," Theo gushed, falling back on his bed. You felt your heartbeat pick up as the compliments flowed from Theo's mouth.
"Thank you, Theo. Here, put this shirt on." You handed the shirt to Theo, who shook his head no. "I like to be shirtless."
Theo pulled his shirt over his head and threw it in the hamper. You tried your best not to stare at his chest before handing him a pair of pants.
"You're taking good care of me, pretty girl. I wish you could always take care of me. Merlin, I love you so much." Theo spoke again. You felt your eyes widen as you looked at him. "What?" You said softly.
"I love you like I'm so in love with you. I just want to be with you all the time." Theo continued. You cleared your throat, pushing him under the covers. Theo was clearly saying anything to you because he was drunk. If Pansy or Daphne were here, he would probably say the same thing. You forced yourself to repeat that to yourself repeatedly so you could believe it.
"Get some sleep, Theo, goodnight." You switched off his light as you swung his door open. "Goodnight, my pretty girl. I love you." Theo said.
You quickly shut the door, taking a deep breath to calm yourself. You didn't know how to interpret what had just happened. Theo admitted to being in love with you. Or did he? He was drunk, so he probably wasn't serious. Yeah, he was drunk. You took a deep breath before making your way back downstairs.
Mattheo saw you hurry down the stairs and raised his eyebrow at you, "You good? Is Theo okay?"
"Yeah, he's fine. I'm just gonna go back to my dorm," You said. Mattheo eyed you, "What happened?"
"What? Why would anything happen?" You asked, diverting your eyes anywhere but to Mattheo's.
"..."
You sighed, glancing down at your feet, "Theo said he was in love with me."
The room froze as everyone turned their heads to look at you. Suddenly, you felt tiny. "What? Why are you guys staring at me like that?" You asked.
"Nothing! It's just...." Daphne glanced at everyone, "We didn't expect Theo to confess that when he was drunk."
"Yeah, I had galleons on an angry confession followed by an angry, passionate kiss," Draco said, causing Pansy to hit him in the arm.
You blinked. Confess? Confess as in.... he's been holding this in for a long time?
"Wait, so he's telling the truth, and you all knew it?" You asked. Everyone made noises in agreement.
"I mean, everyone can see how head over heels he is for you. You were the only one denying it." Blaise said. Your face felt hot, and you shook your head, "I'm going to my dorm."
Everyone laughed, bidding you goodbye.
Theo woke up the next day with a terrible headache.
"Ahh, there's our champion." Blaise's teasing voice caused Theo to groan.
"Why would I ever drink that much?" Theo asked, mainly to himself. Enzo laughed, setting a cup of water and some medicine on Theo's bedside. "I don't know, but it was quite entertaining to see you get taken care of by your pretty girl." Enzo's voice was teasing and light.
Theo's face immediately heated at the idea of acting like a fool in front of you. "Did I do something stupid in front of her?"
Blaise and Enzo shared a look before shrugging. Theo looked at both of them. "What? What did I do? Oh, Merlin, tell me I didn't embarrass myself."
"I wouldn't say you embarrassed yourself," Blaise said.
"But sober Theo definitely wouldn't have confessed to her that he's in love with her," Enzo said.
It took Theo a moment to realize what Enzo had said before his face turned completely red in shame and embarrassment.
"I told her I was in love with her?" Theo groaned loudly. That was not how he pictured confessing to you. Well, he never pictured confessing his feelings to you because he was scared and had no intentions of doing it.
"It's a good thing, don't you think? I mean, she finally knows." Blaise said, "Although she might need some convincing because she thinks you only said it because you were drunk and probably didn't mean it."
Theo hopped out of his bed, finding the nearest t-shirt before slipping on his shoes. He had already confessed how he felt and if it's already out there, there's no point in hiding it.
Theo spirited to your dorm, not muttering a good morning to anyone as he pushed past them. Finally, he got to your dorm and banged on it until he heard your feet shuffling.
"Teddy?" You asked groggily before focusing your eyes on the out-of-breath and frizzled Theo in front of you, "What the hell happened to you?"
"I meant it."
"What?"
There was silence between you two. He knew you knew what he was talking about, so it didn't take long for realization to take over your face.
"I meant it." Theo repeated himself, "Every word I said last night while I was sloppy drunk was true."
"I have been trying to work up the courage to say something about it for the last year or so. Granted, I didn't think it would be while I was drunk."
"How long?" You tilted your head to the side, with a hint of amusement gracing your face.
Theo's face flushed pink, as he knew you were teasing him, as well as being genuinely curious. "Since first year. When I saw you on the train to school."
"You didn't even speak to me until third year."
"I was nervous." Theo let out a breath. "I watched you, though."
You held back a laugh as Theo immediately turned even more red. "That was creepy. I didn't mean it like that! I justâ we've shared a lot of classes andâ I'm going to shut up."
You stood on your tippy toes, kissing Theo's flushed cheeks. "I've had a crush on you since second year."
"Really?"
You nodded, smiling. "So what now?"
"Um, will you go on a date with me? Maybe next weekend after the quidditch game?" Theo asked, feeling more nervous than ever.
"I would love to, " you smiled. And I won't miss this game, I promise."
"I'm holding you to that." Theo smiled back.
You gave Theo another kiss on the cheek. "It's still early. I'll see you later, okay?"
Theo nodded, and you smiled, closing your door. Theo stayed there for a few more seconds until he realized he probably looked crazy for just smiling at your door.
Who knew getting drunk had some perks?

âIt looks better on you anywayâŠâ
summary: youâve been dating for a while and, to make you officially his, Eddie gives you something very specialâŠ.
*no warnings only fluff (ok maybe thereâs a bit of a suggestive content here but nothing too serious)*
(i had this draft for a while now and i loooove this headcannon! hope you like it as much as i do)
âWhat do you mean by itâs not official?â You desperately asked Robin
âWait a minute, i didnât say that! It is official, just not official official.â She says sipping her drink.
âRobin youâre not making any sense right now.â Nancy replies seeing how nervous you got.
The three of you were having a girls night at a bar, only to gossip, have some drinks and celebrate womanhood. But now, after a few drinks, you shared with the girls your story with Eddie and how it was when you finally got to be together. It was actually so casual and simple because Eddie knew you didnât like to cause a big scene and to have all attention to you. So you had a nice date and on the way back to your house, before you could get in, he asked if you wanted to be his girl and if he could be your boyfriend. You didnât waist a minute and involved him in a hug and a lot of kisses.
âIâm just saying that some couples like to make a gesture to make it official, so everyone else can see theyâre taken. And, in your case, thatâs not what happened.â Robin explains herself and now your head was thinking of all the things Eddie might have given to you
âDidnât you hear her story? That was exactly the opposite Eddie was trying to do, he wanted to be a special moment for just the two of them. I think thatâs very sweet of him.â Nancy and Robin keep arguing when it comes to you
âSo youâre saying that hypothetically he was supposed to give me something, like a ring?â You interrupt them making both girls look at you
âHeâs not supposed to do anything, but yes, thatâs what i meant.â She replied and then started to tell a story about one of her old friends.
By the end of the night, Eddie picks you up and takes you to his place, as you agreed. You were going to spend the weekend with him.
âHey pretty girl! How was girls night?â He kisses the top of you head and help you get in his van.
âIt was very nice, but you know how Robin can get very excited about some stuff and how Nancy doesnât agree with her but still tries to be nice and it goes on and on.â He laughs at your words and he enters the van too. âBut youâll see, iâm still going to make them become best friends!â
You keep talking about your night to him and you two stay in a comfortable silence listening to one of his Black Sabbath tapes until you get to his home. He turns off the car and before he could hop off, you stop him.
âWhat is it sweetheart?â He asked looking at your face, searching for something wrong.
âCan i ask you something?â You look at his hands full of rings holding yours.
âOf course you can, you can ask me anything.â He said and his tone couldnât be sweeter
âEarlier we were taking about dating and the girls asked me how it was when you asked to be my boyfriend, and i told them. But Robin said that even though it was the most teeth-rotting story ever there was something wrong, something was missingâŠâ
Eddie was scared of your next words but still encouraged you to continue.
âShe said that normally, after a while, itâs common for the guy to give to his girlfriend something, like a gesture or a gift i donât know. But thatâs supposed to be like an affirmation of the relationship⊠You know what, forget it, itâs fucking stupid.â You give up on telling him what you wanted and turn to leave the car.
âHey hey, wait a minute. Thereâs nothing stupid about that! You can take your time, but i want to hear it.â Eddie says, giving your hands gentle rubs.
âI feel stupid asking you this, and you know how you are my first boyfriend so iâm not sure how things are supposed to be nowâŠâ You organize the words in your head before you tell him. âAlright, hm, I was going to ask if maybe you plan to do that⊠i donât want you to give me anything, and i know weâre not dating for a impressive long time and maybe weâre supposed to wait a bit more for that, i donât even know if you are expecting me to give something to you. I am a bit lostâŠâ You said everything too fast and got lost on your own words. But Eddie listened to you very carefully and understood what was happening.
âAre you saying that you want something, this âgestureâ, to officialize our relationship?â He asked and looked at your eyes âWell, i wasnât actually thinking of giving you something right now, but now that you said that iâm thinking of something hereâŠâ He let go of your hands and put them behind his neck. â I really like the idea of people seeing that you are taken, that you are only mine⊠turn around, please.â
You were confused but still, you turn around and you can feel him getting closer. So close that your back is hitting his chest. He starts to whisper when you see him put his necklace in front of you.
âWhat do you think babe?â His soft voice rings in your ear and you admire his hands holding his necklace that you always made sure to tell him how much you loved it on him, of how attractive he looked with the pick hanging over his chest. âI know how much you like this, and imagine that⊠you walking around with this very specific necklace around your neck. This screams âi have a fucking man, heâs a rockstar, a hottie, and im all fucking hisâ. Uh, i loved that!â
You were smiling and blushing at his words as he lifted your hair up and put the necklace on you. You didnât know what to say and got all nervous but you were relieved he liked your idea.
âI loved it Eds, thank you!â You dropped your hair and looked at the pick now hanging in the middle of your tits.
âI loved the placement donât you.â He teases you and you can hear his mischievous smile and the way heâs giggling when you shove him. âIâm serious, i can imagine already, you on top of me and the pick hanging there and⊠wait a minute. THATS WHY YOU LIKED IT SO MUCH!
You start to laugh and cover your face embarrassed. âShut up Eddie!â
âNo baby, donât hide your pretty face. Let me see you.â You lean into his body again and look up at him. âYou do look very attractive with it.â And as he speaks, you can feel his hand on your jaw, making you look up at him, and the other, caressing your thigh.
âWhat about you? I donât want to just take your necklace like that.â
âDonât worry sweetheart, i can make another one for me so we can match, if thatâs your concern.â He says teasing you once again. âBut now thatâs your necklace. It looks better on you anyway, soâ
You just close your eyes, feeling him touching your nose with his before he kisses you passionately. Even after lots of shared kisses between the two of you, he still manages to take your breath away.
âCome on, letâs go inside.â He opened his door and yours too, being the gentleman he is, and with an arm thrown around your shoulder, he leads you inside. âMaybe we can test that theory, to see if the pick will look good on you when youâre on top of me.â He makes you giggle and you playfully slap his chest as you walk up and open the door.
âMaybeâŠâ

Boo
Prompt: You end up taking Jack and your daughter trick or treating while Aaron is stuck at work.
Note: I know this Halloween inspired prompt is a little belated but the amount of fluff is worth it. đ„°
âI want that one!â your daughter yelled, grabbing the bigger candy bucket from Jackâs hands. A frown appeared on his face but he seemingly held himself back from acting out. The little 8 year old had way more patience than you did at his age, clearly taking after Aaronâs constant calm and controlled demeanor.
âHey,â you spoke, crouching down to her level. âJackers is your brother and you need to be nice to him. We donât yell and take things away from each other.â She looked back and forth from him to you, an expression of disapproval evident. âWhy donât you try asking him nicely if you can have the bigger bucket, ok?â
You and Jack waited as she stayed silent, clearly struggling with the idea to be polite. Finally, she turned to Jack and spoke. âCan I have Jack?â
He looked over at you and then to the smaller identical bucket by her feet. âYeah, ok.â
You sighed in relief and gave them both a big smile. For a second, you thought there was gonna be a tantrum happening before you even got a chance to trick or treat but luckily Jack came to your rescue, being the bigger man.
âSee, wasnât that nicer than yelling at Jack?â She just nodded, avoiding eye contact, probably embarrassed that she was in the wrong. âOk, now letâs go get some candy!â
Like a switch, they were both back to being happy and excited as they ran to the door. You grabbed both of their jackets that you knew they were gonna want later on as well as your little tumbler of wine. That was your treat for the night.
Before leaving the house, you came over to Jack and plopped a king sized Snickers bar in his bucket, giving him a wink and smile once he noticed. He pretended to zip his lips shut and throw away the key, making you laugh.
The first couple of house went smoothly, your daughter clutching onto Jack most of the time, not convinced with the suspicious looking decorations outside of some of the houses. You sent a picture of the two of them to Aaron, knowing heâd want to see how they were doing even if he couldnât be there.
Aaron: They look adorable. How far have you gotten?
You: Still on our street, but making great headway. Jack is excited to get to Wicker street where he knows they give out the bigger candy.
Aaron: Smart boy. I see he let his sister have the bigger bucket.
You: Yeah, he handled it very well. Reminded me a lot of his father. (;
Aaron: Love to hear that. Gotta go but I love you.
You: Love you too.
You put your phone away just as you heard your daughter scream and watch as she made a beeline for you, leaving Jack in the dust. "Sweetheart, what's the matter?" you asked bending down. She looked absolutely terrified as tears began streaming down her face and the little tiara on her head struggled to stay attached. Instead of answering, she just pointed over to the porch that she had just ran from. You knew then what she was referring to when you saw the dog dressed as a big spider. It took everything in you not to laugh out loud.
"Oh honey, it's a just a doggy. He's dressed up for Halloween just like you." You brushed the hair out of her eyes while she continued crying, completely unconvinced that the dog was not a gigantic spider there to eat her and waited as Jack came back over. He inspected the scene before him, obviously aware of what happened and proceeded to pull a pack of gummy worms out from his bucket of goodies.
"Here. I got you worms," he offered, forcing the candy into her hand. Just like that, the crying stopped immediately as she played with the package, trying to figure out how to open it.
"That was so nice of your brother. Can you say thank you sweetie?"
"Thank you," she repeated. You gave Jack a ruffle on his head and pulled him in for a hug. He was literally the sweetest boy you knew.
"Alright, Jack. You want to lead the way to the next street?" He shook his head in excitement and wasted no time in showing you the way.
After walking up to the first house and receiving two big chocolate bars, he was practically racing to the next house for more.
"Not so fast Jack, stay close." you told him, scanning your surroundings, knowing anything could happen. Your daughter followed in step with you, busy gnawing on some gummy candy that you were sure was gonna end up keeping her up all night. Just before you all reached the next house, someone caught your eye. The tall figure was a bit far away but became increasingly clearer, the closer you got. Jack was the first to identify him.
"Daddy!"
You watched him run ahead and into the arms of your husband, who was still dressed in his work attire. In that moment, you were entirely grateful to the Bureau for their strict dress code. The dress pants, FBI windbreaker, and holstered weapon had you thinking all kinds of dirty scenarios in your head you'd like to play out with him but for the sake of your toddler children, you decided to indulge your fantasies later.
You and your daughter walked over, a gentle smile on your lips as he set Jack down to give her a hug. "Well this is a pleasant surprise." you greeted, giving him a kiss once he came back up.
âCase wrapped up sooner than expected. Figured the team could use an early night considering the occasion."
You pulled him in for another kiss, this time, a slightly longer and deeper, earning a curious hum from him. "What was that for?"
Absentmindedly, you played with his tie and looked up at his boyish expression. "I just really like your Halloween costume."
Being the ever observant special agent he was, it didn't take long for him to understand what you meant as a knowing smirk played on his lips. "I see."
"Daddy, up," your daughter demanded while pulling on his pant leg, interrupting the moment.
âOf course sweetheart.â He propped her up on his hip and gave you one last look before turning his attention to them. âLead the way Batman,â Aaron spoke to Jack in his costume.
All of you followed after the young boy, it not taking long for both of their candy buckets to fill up and their sugar high to come crashing down. Your daughter had fallen asleep in Aaronâs arms on the walk back and Jack walked hand in hand with you, his pace a lot slower than earlier.
Once in the house, you helped Jack separate his candy while Aaron put your daughter down for bed. "The Twix are my favorite. Dad can have the pretzels and you can have the lollipops," he offered, pushing the less interesting candy towards you.
âAlright. Iâll keep all of your candy in a very secure safe place,â you reassured him, putting his little pile into a ziplock bag. âWhy donât you go get changed into your pjâs and brush your teeth.â
He listened without a fuss, a tired yawn making its way out of his mouth as he shuffled down the hall, passing by his dad who gave him a high five.
You watched him make his way over to you, a playful glint in his eye, his arms snaking their way around your waist before he placed a gentle kiss against your neck. "I thought I could run us a bath. Maybe give you a massage afterwards." His murmured words sent a shiver through you, your body reacting immediately. You turned to face him, your hands slowly pulling down on his jacket zipper, your eyes locked with his.
Leaning in, his lips met yours with a burning passion you loved. Like that was the last kiss he'd ever have. His hand cradled your head, fingers entwining in your hair and as he stepped closer, the faint smell of cologne from that morning still lingered on his clothes, overstimulating your senses. Your hands rested themselves on his torso, grabbing at the fabric, wanting nothing more than to rip it right off his body as his breath hitched, telling you he felt the same way.
"Daddy!" Jack called from down the hall, bringing the both of you back down to earth. He was probably waiting for his nightly bedtime story you made sure to give him, all cuddled up in his bed, surrounded by his numerous stuffies and dressed in his Batman pajamas.
You pulled away from Aaron, his eyes dark and filled with desire.
"Wait for me," he spoke lowly, stepping back from you before heading towards Jack's room, ready to give the shortest bedtime story ever.

Note
Jett's ears stand at attention. Kai purrs. Her tail wags. Ryu picks up a box from one of the other carts.
Welcome to the family, Jett.
(Jett): Wait. That's it? There's nothing else? Just "alright" and "welcome to the family"?
Kai's head tilts slightly.
What else would there be?
(Jett): I'm sorry. I just... I thought I'd be punished for being with Zeke, or miss Silverwood...
Ryu's ear flicks. He puts the box back down and frowns.
Maybe during my father's or my grand fathers time, but not during my time or Ezekiel's time. Not in this clan. Otherwise, I wouldn't have been with my lovely wife and Ezekiel wouldn't have existed at all.
Kai nuzzles Ryu and purrs a tonne. She licks him. Her tail wagging a lot. Ryu's tail wags. He nuzzles and licks Kai back. Zeke nuzzles and licks Jett and Ryan. Jett's tail wags.
Like me and Ryan said, even if there would've been a punishment, we would stop it from even happening in the first place. Before it even happened. Besides, I think me and mum are rubbing off on dad.
Momo trots over to Kai and hugs her. Her tail wags.
(Momo): I thought it best that I show everyone around the manor. It is quite large and I have lived here for the majority of my life. It is not nearly as large as the palace.
Kai nuzzles Momo. She smiles.
Alright. That sounds like an excellent idea.
Byrd sits at the top of a high rise, looking down at the street below. He stretches out and lays on his back on the roof, wings stretched to his sides.
Jeez. These are always boring. Nothing interesting happens in the meantime...

hiiiii this is my first fic for any CK character so i'm kinda nervous. hope u like it. i started a pt. 2 already bc i just love axel but i also wanna write him in different scenarios as well! will open my requests asap :)
c.w.
s6pt2 spoilers, drinking.
being in barcelona was a dream. you were grateful that you were able to tag along with the miyagi do's. sensei larusso and sensei lawerence always liked you, especially johnny. being miguel's best friend is a privilege you were happy to have. sure, it came with a lot of drama but it also came with a protector, a group of friends, and some karate skills.
plus, being miyagi do's water girl wasn't a bad deal for being flown out to barcelona.
you were enjoying being on the inside of all the events while not needing to fight. the first couple of rounds you seen were intense. being around all these powerful people made you a little nervous but you had hope nothing terrible would happen like the rumble at west valley. these weren't angry teenagers fueled off drama and angst, they're athletes. aspiring professionals.
after miyagi do managed to stay in the game by the skin of their teeth, everyone was getting ready to go out. sam was talking your and devons ear off about spain and all the things her and miguel were going to do in their freetime when there was a knock at the door. you got up from your spot at the vanity and opened it to see miguel.
he was distressed, foot anxiously tapping with a hand through his hair. "is sam in here?"
"yeah, sam." you waved her over to the door. "you good, miggy?" miguel opened his mouth to speak and his eyes immediately welled up with tears. "what's wrong?"
"my mom..." his voice shook as he took sam in his arms for a hug. "something's wrong with the baby, i need to go back home." he spoke, voice muffled by sams hair.
"of course." you nodded. "is there anything we can do?"
he only shook his head and hugged sam harder.
"miguel." johnny said from the end of the hallway and beckoned him.
miguel let sam go and gave you a quick but tight hug before taking off. you and sam share an uneasy look before going back inside the room.
"miguel's going back home? sensei too?" devon asked and the two of you nodded.
"i need a drink." you said, grabbing your purse.
***
at the bar, everyone just seemed to take the gloominess with them. knowing miguel was struggling made it impossible to have fun.
"what are we going to do now that miguel's gone?" devon asked hawk and demitri.
"we could always have y/n take his spot?" hawk said, giving you a look over like he was sizing you up.
you scoffed. "yeah right, i wasn't even good enough to fight for a spot in the sekai tekai. getting my ass kicked on the world stage isn't on my bucket list."
"i'm serious." hawk said. "if they can't get kenny, you're next up. so don't black out this time." hawk pointed at your drink, remembering the time you got blackout drunk and threw up all over the inside of his car at one of moons parties.
"i'd prefer drunk y/n over kenny any day." demitri started. "at least she didn't shit her pants."
"oooookay." you stood up, taking your empty glass with you. "i'm getting another drink." you saw the way they were looking at you. "my last one. i don't think you guys will need me but if you do, i'll be ready. i promise."
you walked over to the bar, where sam and robby were sitting. "hey."
"hey." sam said and robby only nodded.
"what's with him?" you noticed robby's bad mood as soon as you walked up.
"maybe you can help." sam stood up, taking her cup with her. "i'm gonna go sit with the others for a sec, see if miguel still has service."
"okay." you nodded, taking sams spot at the bar. "what's wrong?"
"everything." robby sighed. "i need a drink."
you wanted to tell him not to, that it wouldn't solve anything but you knew that he already knew.
"get one, whatever you want. i got us for the first round." you took some cash from your pocket. "hey, can i get a mai tai and..."
"a rum and coke. double. please." robby asked and the bartender nodded, getting to work on your drinks.
"it's one of those nights, huh?" he only nodded, peering at the other edge of the bar for a moment before scoffing and turning back to you.
"yeah." you looked down to where he had just looked, to see tory and kwon sitting besided each other. kwon had an arm around her shoulders and was whispering something in her ear.
"i'm sorry robby. she's gonna come around, i know she is."
"i don't know. she's doing better without me." robby took a sip of his drink and looked down to where tory was sitting. kwon had separated from her but was still close. "and i'm here." he looked at his drink. "thanks by the way."
"it's not good to drink alone. especially when you're down." you nodded, taking a sip of your drink. "also, i missed out on the robby who smoked weed and skated everywhere. i hear he was kinda fun."
"i still skate everywhere." he said with a small laugh. "just not a skate rat anymore."
"yeah, you're the captain now." you gently nudged his shoulder. "i don't know how that feels exactly, the pressure, but i do know that you're gonna make everyone back home proud. especially tory."
"i hope so." he took another drink and eventually, his was gone.
"i know so. she's been watching every one of your fights."
robby cringed a little bit. "knowing i've lost every one of my fights definitely makes me feel lame."
"you're still in it. there's still tomorrow." you took another sip of your drink.
robby nodded. "i'm gonna go to the bathroom."
you nodded in return, looking over your shoulder to see hawk on his phone, sam and devon talking, and demitri dancing with a girl. when you turned back to where robby was sitting, kwon was in his seat.
"hi."
"hello." you were playing with your straw.
"what are you drinking?"
"a mai tai." your responses were dry but kwon wasn't backing off.
"do you want to dance?" he offered his hands but you shook your head, backing away a little.
"no, thanks."
"what? you're only miyagi do's little girlfriend? not for the rest of us?" kwon leaned in closer. "i can treat you better than keene."
"leave me alone, kwon."
"hey." robby's voice came from behind you.
kwon only scoffed and backed up. "someone's waiting for me anyways." he stood up. "i promise i'll keep her warm tonight, keene." he said before leaving the bar.
"are you okay?"
"i need some air." you stood up and went outside, leaving your friends at the bar. you felt bad for leaving robby alone but you couldn't be there anymore.
you felt the effects of the alcohol as you walked down to the beach. your head was spinning. you stopped and took a seat near the shore, sighing as you looked out to the water.
and then you saw him.
axel kovacevic.
he had been destroying his opponents on the mat. nobody's been able to land a point on him. he was one of the strongest competitors. he was stoic too, especially now as he was practicing his kata about 10 feet away from you. in the moonlight, by the ocean, with the alcohol making your perspective soft, he wasn't robotic. he was focused. until he caught you staring at him.
you made eye contact and immediately looked down at your lap. you waited about 5 seconds to check if he was still looking and he was full on staring. it was awkward. he wasn't looking at you as a threat, but with curiosity.
the two of you observed each other for a silent minute before you decided to say something. "hi." you waved and he didn't say anything in return. "you're axel right?" he nodded. "i'm y/n. i liked the kata you were doing."
"i'm not supposed to speak with opponent." he turned away from you and you stood up.
"i'm not your opponent. i'm not even fighting in the tournament. more like, emergency backup." you smiled, watching the corner of his lips tug upwards.
"why aren't you fighting?" he asked curiously, taking a step closer to you.
"i'm not really a fighter like my friends are." you shrugged. "you're great though."
"i'm alright." he leaned over to pick up his shirt and revealed bruises on his back. the sight made you wince.
"what happened?"
"bo staff competition."
"nobody has been able to land a point on you yet." you looked at him and he had a sort of an embarrassed look. "i know about... your sensei. one of my friends saw. it's not right. you should be out with your team, not practicing alone."
"there's always time for practice. my sensei wants me to be the best. it's because of him i never lose."
"doesn't make it right." you responded. "your entire dojo is pretty great though, i have to admit."
"you're pretty." axel stopped himself. your face was on fire and so was his. "your dojo's pretty good too."
"thanks. do you wanna walk with me? back to the hotel?" you asked, rocking on your heels. axel looked around and nodded and you both took off into the night.
"how long have you been fighting for?" you asked.
"ever since i was a kid. what about you?"
"only a couple years. after one of my friends got really hurt, i decided i had to get serious about learning. he had been teaching me some stuff but when it happened i just had to join a dojo. it was actually... cobra kai."
axel looked at you in disbelief. "you were in cobra kai?"
"yeah. after miguel got hurt, i was really angry and i took it out on everyone."
"miguel..."
"he was the original cobra kai." you remembered when miguel excitedly showed you his first gi. "it's a long story though. those sensei's, silver. they put me and all my friends through hell. so i know what its like to have a sensei do anything to make you the best, even hurt you."
axel couldn't say anything, he could only look at you with wonder. "is that why you don't fight anymore?"
"kind of. i don't know. i'm just not as angry as i used to be. i feel like my anger was the only reason i was ever good and i don't wanna live like that." you shrugged.
"i understand." he nodded. "i love karate but i don't want to be a robot all the time." you shook your head and opened your mouth to speak but he interrupted. "i hear what everyone says. they call me a monster, a machine. sometimes i just want to be axel." you nodded, this time you didn't have anything to say. "that's why i like to travel. i get to disappear in each city whenever i'm not fighting."
"how many cities have you been to?"
"a lot." he chuckled and listed all the cities and countries he's been to. you listened in awe. "what about you?"
"i've never really left california." you responded. "but after being here, i'd love to see everything. the sagrada familia makes me feel small but not in a scary way. it's like a monument to the great things humans can do."
"how cute!" a familiar voice interrupted. "little rival team playtime, huh?" kwon and another cobra kai came from around the corner. "thought you were only for miyagi do to play with."
"and i thought i told you to leave me alone." you tried to push past them but they blocked the path. you could smell the alcohol on kwons breath as he spoke. "just let us go."
"what's the magic word?" kwon asked, leaning in closer to you.
"move." you responded bluntly, not wanting anything else to do with this.
"wrong." kwon scoffed and shook his head. he glanced over your shoulder and you were sure someone was behind you.
"we just want to go back to the hotel." you weren't planning on giving kwon what he wanted.
"okay. you can go, only if you say please." kwon was in your face again, smug smile plastered on his face.
before you knew it, the other cobra kai kicked axel. it barely affected him as he shot into action to defend the both of you.
"come on, hit me. show me why they brought you here." kwon tapped his cheek and you were about to raise your arm when you were grabbed from behind. you elbowed whoever grabbed you multiple times before being able to slither out and kick him across the face. at the same time, axel shoved the other cobra kai into kwon. "okay come on. i'll take you both."
the sound of sirens took everyone but kwon out of the fight. he was still pressing axel and had to be taken away by his teammates.
"come on, let's go."
the two of you bolted back to the beach. after catching your breath, you started laughing a little.
"what?" axel asked.
"that guy kicked you and you barely moved. you have a strong base."
axel looked away from you, a smile spreading across his face. "thanks. that was a nice roundhouse."
"thanks, axel." you smiled at him and then looked out at the ocean. when you looked back at him, he was staring. no, he was admiring you. "what?"
axel said nothing, he only reached to tuck a piece of hair behind your ear. his hand brushed against your face and you leaned into the touch.
and then he kissed you.
and you kissed him back. it was perfect. he was cradling your face with one hand, pulling you closer by your waist with the other. his mouth moved against yours softly and romantically. it was sweet. he didn't want anything other than to kiss you and you were happy to oblige and let yourself be putty in his hands.
but then your head started spinning again. you pulled away abruptly, taking a deep breath as you came up for air. the alcohol, the running, and the kissing were all making you dizzy. "axel i-."
"i'm sorry, i should go. already after curfew." axel took off running down the beach.
"wait, axel!" you called out after him but he was gone. you felt terrible as you went back inside the bar to meet with your team. everyone was already heading out and robby was nowhere to be seen. you figured he had went back to the hotel and hoped he would be fine. everyone else on the other hand would be dealing with their drama for a minute, including yourself.

Could you please write arcane characters with crybaby S/O?? If you want, of course! Whatever, thank you, I love your works đđ
Iâm so glad you enjoy my work! Arcane characters and their crybaby s/o,:
âââââââââââââââââââââââ
Jinx
Jinxâs first instinct is to panic when she sees you crying. Her eyes widen, and her brain short circuits a bit as she scrambles to figure out whatâs wrong.
âOh no! Did I break something? Was it my bombs again?!â She pulls you into her arms and starts rattling off a series of wild suggestions to make you smile. âMaybe some candy? Or I could build you a new toyâno, wait, Iâll make a whole new everything!â
When she finally calms down enough to hold you and see the tears are simply from emotion, she softens, giving you a tight hug and whispering, âDonât cry, okay? I canât handle it.â She might still end up doing something completely ridiculous to cheer you up, but she loves you so much and hates seeing you sad.
Vi
Viâs reaction to you crying is immediately protective. Sheâs quick to scoop you up in her strong arms, cradling you against her chest like youâre the most precious thing in the world.
âHey, hey⊠youâre okay,â she murmurs softly, gently stroking your hair. âIâve got you. Donât worry.â
Sheâs not great with words when it comes to comforting, but her touch speaks volumes. Sheâll just hold you close, letting you cry it out in her arms, her jaw tight and eyes soft as she assures you, âYouâre the toughest person I know, donât forget that.â Sheâd never let anything hurt you.
Sevika
Sevika is a lot tougher on the outside but crumbles when youâre upset. When she sees you crying, itâs like a switch flips, and all her usual hardness melts.
âWhy are you crying?â she asks, her voice surprisingly soft, but her posture tense as if sheâs trying to hold it together. She gently wipes away your tears with her thumb.
Sevika doesnât quite know how to comfort in a traditional sense, so she might pull you into her lap, leaning against the wall as she lets you cry it out. âYouâre tough, you donât need to cry, alright?â But thereâs a softness in her tone, a vulnerability she doesnât often show to anyone but you.
Silco
Silco is stern, but when he sees you crying, a strange protectiveness takes over him. Heâs never really been great at comforting anyone, but when it comes to you, heâs incredibly tender.
âEnough of this,â he says, voice low and commanding, yet his actions are the opposite. He gently pulls you into his arms, running a hand through your hair, his grip surprisingly delicate.
âYouâre the last person I ever wanted to see in tears,â he mutters, his voice rough. He may not have the right words, but the way he holds you speaks volumes. âDonât waste your tears. Iâll handle whatever is making you sad.â Heâll find a way to fix itâbecause you mean that much to him.
Vander
Vanderâs heart aches whenever you cry. The moment you start, heâs immediately by your side, pulling you into his massive arms with an almost fatherly tenderness.
âThere, there,â he murmurs, rocking you gently as he lets you cry it out. âYou donât have to hide your tears from me, sweetheart.â
His voice is soothing and steady, like a calm in the storm. He doesnât ask questions right away; he just holds you, rubbing your back and whispering, âIâm here. Youâre safe.â
Vanderâs the type to offer warmth and security, his hands gentle on your back as he helps you through whateverâs troubling you.
Ekko
Ekkoâs heart drops when he sees you upset, especially when itâs tears. He immediately drops everything, running over to wrap his arms around you in a tight hug.
âHey, hey, whatâs going on?â he asks, his voice full of concern. His hands are all over youâtouching your arms, face, shouldersâas if making sure youâre real, that youâre okay.
âCome on, you know you can tell me anything, right?â he says, trying to reassure you. Ekkoâs never good with seeing you cry, and heâll do anything to stop it. He might even go a little overboard with distractionsâmaking you laugh, telling you a silly story, or offering to make you something specialâbecause the last thing he wants is for you to feel sad for long.
Jayce
Jayce is the type to immediately feel overwhelmed when you cry, unsure of what to do at first. Heâs a man of action, and seeing you upset makes him want to fix everything.
âSweetheart, please, tell me whatâs wrong. I can help, I swear,â he pleads, his voice urgent yet gentle as he pulls you into his arms.
Jayce is the kind to try and solve whateverâs troubling you, whether itâs with words or some grand gesture. âWhatever it is, weâll fix it together,â he promises, brushing your hair out of your face.
He might even work himself into a frenzy, trying to make everything perfect just so youâll stop crying, but ultimately, his soft embrace and the way he looks at you with concern will make you feel safe again.
Viktor
Viktor is a mix of confusion and worry when he sees you in tears. Heâs so used to dealing with problems with logic and technology that when it comes to comforting you, itâs like stepping into uncharted territory.
âWhy are you crying?â he asks, his voice soft and a little uncertain. âThis isnât like you.â
Viktor doesnât understand all of your emotions, but what he does understand is that youâre important to him. Heâll sit beside you, reaching out to hold your hand, carefully avoiding overwhelming you with words.
Heâs more likely to offer you quiet, thoughtful gesturesâmaking you tea, working on something togetherâanything to make you feel better.
Caitlyn
Caitlyn is a little flustered when she sees you cry, especially if itâs about something thatâs beyond her control. Sheâs so used to solving problems in a structured way, but she wants to do everything to help you feel better.
âDarling, what happened?â she asks, her voice soft but filled with concern as she wipes your tears away.
Sheâs very gentle with you, rubbing your back or combing through your hair, and sheâll do anything to get you to stop crying. Caitlyn might get a little frustrated with herself if she canât figure out the cause, but sheâll keep reassuring you with sweet words and actions: âYouâre safe with me, I wonât let anything hurt you.â
Mel Medarda
Melâs reaction to you crying is calm, yet deeply caring. Sheâs not overly sentimental, but sheâs not cold either. Sheâs incredibly composed, and sheâll use her sharp intellect to try and get you to open up about whatâs troubling you.
âTell me, my dear,â she says softly, her voice full of warmth. âWhatâs weighing on your heart?â
Mel will sit down with you, her hands resting on yours as she listens carefully, offering advice only if she thinks itâs needed. She doesnât want to push you, but sheâll always make sure you know youâre not alone, and that you have her support, no matter what.
Ambessa Medarda
Ambessaâs reactions are subtle, but her presence is commanding. She doesnât like seeing you cry, and while she may not be the most emotionally open, sheâll show you affection in her own way.
âDonât cry,â she says with quiet authority, pulling you into her arms. âTears are for weakness.â
But her actions are softer than her words. Sheâll stroke your back gently, offering you silence as she lets you cry it out, and then, once you calm down, sheâll make sure youâre taken care of, ready to shield you from whatever caused the pain.
Maddie Nolen
Maddieâs heart breaks the moment she sees your tears. Sheâs quick to offer comfort, wrapping you in a tight hug, kissing your forehead, and telling you everything will be okay.
âYouâre everything to me,â she whispers, her voice low and soothing. âPlease donât cry.â
She might be a little overwhelmed by how much she cares for you, but she does everything she can to help you calm down. Maddie will talk with you for hours if she has to, just to make sure you know youâre not alone, and that sheâs there for you.
Lest
Lestâs heart always skips a beat when she sees you upset. Sheâs very protective of you, and sheâs quick to wrap you up in a soft embrace, not quite knowing what to do but instinctively wanting to shield you from anything causing you pain.
âHey, itâs okay,â she says softly, her hands gentle as she holds you close. âDonât cry, Iâm here.â
She doesnât rush you to stop crying, letting you take your time. Sheâs patient, and sheâll listen quietly, never pushing you for answers, just offering her warmth and comfort.

Both
warning: none
characters: jude x jobe x fem!reader
summary: when he introduces you to his family, but it seems like the younger brother doesn't have the expected reaction
request: yes
may contain spelling and translation errors!
It was a sunny Saturday in Birmingham, and the weather was perfect for the lunch Jude had been planning for weeks. He was eager, though he wouldnât admit it, to officially introduce you to his family. Until now, they had only known you through a few stories and videos that he had shared with them with enthusiasm. Today would be different. Today they would meet the woman who had stolen his heart.
You were visibly nervous as you adjusted your simple but elegant dress in the rearview mirror.
âTheyâre going to like you, babe. âJude said, squeezing your hand gently. âYouâre amazing, Y/n. It canât be any other way.
âI just⊠want to make a good impression.
You replied, your eyes betraying a hint of anxiety.
Jude smiled, leaning in to kiss your forehead.
âYouâre going to be perfect, as always.
As soon as you arrived at the Bellingham house, you felt the warmth of the welcome. Denise was the first to wrap you in a tight hug.
âWe finally met the girl Jude talks about so much!
She said, smiling warmly.
Mark, on the other hand, was more reserved, but kind. He shook your hand firmly, silently nodding his approval. You felt relief course through your veins.
Then Jobe came. At only 16, he seemed less at ease than the rest of the family. Tall and with the same unassuming smile as your boyfriend, he kept a slightly stiff posture as he greeted you.
âHi, I'm Jobe. I've heard a lot about you!
He said, his voice slightly shaky.
You smiled, warm and spontaneous.
âI hope good things, Jobe!
The younger brother blushed instantly, looking away.
âOh, yes, of course. Good things, lots of good things.
Jude watched the interaction closely, his smile fading slightly. He knew that look on his brother's face âit was the same one he used to give you in the first few months he'd known you.
During lunch, you quickly won over everyone at the table. You had funny stories and a light-hearted manner that charmed your in-laws. Even Jobe, who was usually more reserved, laughed at your jokes.
âAnd then Jude tried to cook for me once. âYou said, laughing. âHe even burned the water!
The table erupted in laughter, and Jude shook his head, feigning indignation.
âOkay, it was just once, and I was trying to impress.
âWell, it seems to have worked.
Denise commented, smiling at you approvingly.
Jobe, on the other hand, remained quieter, but his eyes were constantly on you. Every time you looked at him or asked him something directly, he would visibly blush, stumbling over his words to answer.
âSo, Jobe, how are trainings going? Jude talks about you a lot.
You asked with genuine interest.
Jobe choked slightly on his water.
âOh... theyâre good. Well... intense, but it's... it's nice, you know?
Jude narrowed his eyes, watching the interaction carefully. When you leaned over to pick something up and accidentally brushed against your brother-in-law's arm, your younger brother's face turned red and that bothered the older Bellingham.
Later, while you were talking to Denise in the kitchen, Jude pulled Jobe out into the backyard.
âSo, what's going on, huh?
Jude asked, crossing his arms.
âWhat do you mean?
He answered, trying to sound casual.
âYou know exactly what I mean. The way you look at Y/n. âJude stepped forward, his expression serious. âShe's my girlfriend, Jobe.
The boy raised his hands in defense, his face still flushed.
âI... it's nothing, right? I just think she's... nice, that's all.
Jude narrowed his eyes, assessing his brother.
âI hope so. Because I love her, and I wonât let anyone, not even you, ruin that.
Jobe sighed, shoving his hands in his pockets.
âI wouldnât do that, Jude. You know that. Just⊠relax, okay?
He finally nodded, but still kept a warning look on his face.
âOkay, just remember: Y/n is my girl.
Later, while Jude helped his mother clear the table, you found Jobe alone in the living room. He looked uncomfortable, fiddling with his phone as if he wanted to avoid eye contact.
âJobe, is everything fine?
You asked, sitting down next to him.
He glanced at you quickly and then looked away.
âYeah, sure, Y/n. Itâs fine.
You smiled softly, touching his arm lightly.
âLook, I know Jude can be a little⊠protective sometimes. But he only does it because he cares.
He finally looked at you, his eyes revealing a mix of emotions.
âYouâre amazing. Jude is lucky to have you.
You blushed slightly, surprised by his sincerity.
âThank you, Jobe. That means a lot.
When Jude entered the room, he saw you smiling at Jobe and his brother looking at you with an admiration that was hard to ignore. He immediately approached, putting his arm around her waist.
âEverything okay here?
Jude asked, his tone casual, but his eyes fixed on his brother.
âYeah. âHe replied, standing up quickly. âIâm going to help mum in the kitchen.
When he left, you looked at Jude, confused.
âHeâs acting weird, huh?
Jude sighed, squeezing your waist.
âHeâs just⊠a little shy. Nothing to worry about, babe.
But deep down, Jude knew he would have to keep an eye on Jobe for a while. After all, his girl was irresistible â even to his younger brother.

Keeping Up With The Leclercs |
a/n: this is the more detailed version of the chapters!! y/n has no face claim, the pictures I use are just for reference.
âââââââââââââââââââââââââââ
It was an unusually rainy day in Monte Carlo as the Leclerc twins sat at their motherâs house. y/n was on live with her fans building a lego set while arthur was playing the piano in the back.
ây/n whatâs the lip oil you use, itâs so pretty, aw thankyou! I use the Dior lip oil in the shade poppy coral!â She smiles showcasing the product before putting it away.
âoh by the way, Iâm back home in Monaco for a bit so thatâs my brother playing the piano, heâs very good at itâ she says as she continues to build a Lego sit, well atleast until her brother arthur comes into the screen.
âc'est tellement mocheâ thatâs so ugly he says chuckling as her jaw drops. âtu es du genre Ă parlerâ youâre one to talk
Soon, Arthur had started helping her as the soft rain pattered against the window of their mamanâs cozy house. ây/n whoâs your favorite sibling, hmmâŠâ she goes into deep thinking as arthur looks at her expectantly, âLorenzoâ she simply says as arthur scoffs âNot your twin brother?â ââŠdefinitely notâ she chuckles as they engage in their usual sibling banter.
âI guess someoneâs upset a certain someone is out of their leagueâ Arthur nudges her, she gave him a warning look, âaw whatâs the matter? You upset that Jo-â before he could finish she puts a hand on his mouth âfermez-la!â Shut up!
arthur chuckles as he nodded âbien sĂ»r chĂ©riâ sure cheri he says as they continue building it. It was a studio ghibli's "howls moving castle" and it was so cute. Once they were finished they showed it to the people watching the live, âitâs so cute!â She says admiring their work. It was late so they decided to end the live saying goodbyes to everyone who watched.
y/n.leclcerc posted a story

Now, she was in the middle of packing up her suitcase as Arthur scrolled through his phone laying down on her bed. "So how long are you going to be in the US for?" Arthur casually asks, "hmm about a month, and then ill meet up with Charles and Alexandra in Venice for a bit" she says as she packed everything.
"Damn, booked a lot of jobs for once? I'm surprised anyone would cast your ugly face" he chuckles making her roll her eyes, "don't you have some relationship problems to worry about" she fires back making his face drop. "Thats not fair! you know Carla-" before he finishes, their mother Pascale comes in as well.
"Salut Maman" hello mama they say unanimously, as she smiled at them. "Tu pars déjà ?" you're leaving already? she asks y/n as she sighs, "oui mama" yes mama she says hugging her mom. Pascale wraps her arms around the girl tightly, "ton voyage a paru si court, reviens plus souvent à Monaco ma petite fille" your trip felt so short, come back to Monaco more often my little girl. y/n smiles, "I promise I will maman" she says as she packs the last of her things.
Pascale takes a seat next to Arthur on y/n's bad, "so what all do you have planned for the month?" Arthur asks. y/n sits down, "I'm actually not sure, Lucille sent me an entire list of my schedule, I'm actually so grateful for my manager" she chuckles as she pulls up her schedule on the phone. "How is Lucille by the way?" Arthur says his cheeks a bit red, she glares at him "You stay away from Lucille" she says as his face drops "What! why!" he says as Pascale looks at them in confusion, "why cherie?" she asks confused as well.
"A. you're a terrible boyfriend, B. you have to sort things out with Carla because I love her, and C. I'm not going to let you mess up a good thing going on for me" she says crossing her arms, Arthur groans "I am not!" he says to his twin who scoffs "Do you know the amount of friendships I have lost because of you and Charles?" she says. "Fine fine ill stay away from Lucille quelle galĂšre" what a drag he says rolling his eyes. "Maman tell him to stay away from Lucille" she says, "ok ok je pense qu'il comprend" ok ok i think he gets it she says in her usual soft voice. Once things settle down, Arthur and Pascale exit the room so that she could get some rest before her very long and tiring flight.
The next morning as she's brushing her teeth she gets a call from Lucille, "Goodmorning y/n! I just sent you a screenshot of the boarding pass!" Lucille chirps, "Thankyou so much Lucille, ill see you when I land" she says as she hangs up. She quickly gets her hand bag ready making sure she has her essential such as her passport, and some self care products.
Arthur and Pascale drive her to the airport, she hugs both of them tightly, "I'll miss you guys" she says pulling away, "yeah yeah I guess I will too" Arthur says playfully rolling his eyes to which she punches his shoulder. "oh ma petite fille, envoie-moi un message quand tu atterris" oh my little girl, text me when you land as she pulls y/n into another tight hug to which she reciprocates. "oui maman" yes mama she says before finally going into the line. "she waves to them with a quick I love you and before she knows it, she's on the plane.

(đïž) ... hit the road docu.<> for you to walk comfortably
word count: 1k TW: fluff? nothing too crazy - woozi's segments pretty mild compared to what's about to go down (ââą Ö âąâ) italics are interview moments cut between other scenes a/n: welcome to the first instalment of htr!
Cyana couldn't help but glance at Woozi when they won the Album of the Year at Asia Artist Awards. She wanted to see that glow of a smile flood across their producer member's face, a smile she so rarely got to see. He was usually so stoic around her.
"We won." Jeonghan breathed into her ear, pulling her and Dino in for a hug. "We won."
She looked at Woozi, who had been tugged into a group hug with Seungcheol and the others. "We won." She mumbled, mostly to herself. She couldn't quite believe it.
"It was hard to imagine we had won." Woozi said to the camera. "I was looking for Cyana the whole time, trying to see her reaction. I never thought we'd succeed with her next to us." He shrugged, a little sheepish. "Guess I was wrong."
"Hi!" Cyana waved to the camera. "We're practicing for our Osaka concert right now." She moved to show the members with the staff in the background. "Apparently they did this all last tour as well, to keep in line with the local staff."
Woozi could be seen directing the bulk of it, naturally taking over as he knew most about their sound design.
"It sounds a bit lower," Woozi said into his mic. "can we adjust that?"
"It was amazing, to see Woozi oppa controlling the stage, even when we weren't performing." Cyana smiled as she recalled. "It made it even harder to hold a grudge."
Woozi approached Cyana as they sat in the green room, two hours before the concert. She was busy eating, her phone propped up as she watched Criminal Minds on low volume.
"Your mic pack's acting up." He informed her, sitting down opposite her. "They're fixing it but we don't know how long it'll take."
Cyana paused her show, looking up worried. "Is there a spare?"
"The staff are finding one now." Woozi let out a loud sigh. "It's a bit hectic today."
"I was kind of checking everything that day. It wasn't that I was a perfectionist. There was just a lot of changes. It was a different size stage, we had changed formations and cue sheets." Woozi recalled the day.
Cyana nodded after hearing the interviewer's comment. "I don't think our performance in Osaka would've gone as well if it hadn't been for his attention to detail."
LOCATION: UNIVERSE FACTORY
"I spend most of my time at the studio. It's like my second home." Woozi explained. "It's also where I see Cyana the most."
Cyana's sprawled on the studio couch, face facing the ceiling as she listened to the track Woozi was playing. "Pause it." Cyana sat upright, her face in thought. "Wait, go back a few bars."
"I liked working with Woozi oppa. We didn't really have much to say to each other outside of work, but working on music was something that could bring us together." Cyana let out a tiny laugh. "I guess being sleep deprived does bring people together."
Woozi rewinds the track, bringing it back to the chorus. "Here?" He asked, looking at Cyana for confirmation.
The girl nodded. "Yeah, play it again?"
The two grew silent as they concentrated on the beats. Cyana stood up suddenly frowning. "What is that sound in the very back? The dat-dat-dat-dun." She mimed drumbeats as she tried explaining what she was hearing.
"Cyana didn't know how to work the sound mixing board yet, she was learning as we worked but I could tell it frustrated her, having to explain her thoughts to me." Woozi couldn't help but smile. "It was endearing, I have to say."
"I know what you mean." Woozi nodded, following her train of thought. "I hear it too. Must've altered when we mixed those two beats together yesterday." He clicked a few keys on the board. "I'll find it."
"Bumzu sunbaenim told me Woozi oppa's always been like this, even as a trainee. A pure musical genius." Cyana shook her head in mild disbelief. "I came to learn that producing is literally his entire life. He doesn't even think of it as anything special."
Cyana let out a yawn, sitting back down on her spot at the corner of the couch, curling her legs up. "You should take a break, oppa. You've been staring at that screen for hours."
"I felt bad, that I couldn't hold my fair share of the work. Sometimes it felt like I was just directing him." Cyana admitted. "I thought: he must feel annoyed, having the maknae throw ideas into his area of expertise."
Woozi stretched his arms, rolling his shoulders back. "I'm fine, Cyana. We can keep going." Rolling his chair across the room, he opened the mini fridge and threw her a bottle of water before taking one for himself. "We'll forget tomorrow."
Cyana could only smile ruefully at his persistence, taking a small sip of water. "Only if you're sure."
"What else can I say?" Woozi shrugged. "The members all say I work too hard. That I should be sleeping more, going out more, living more. But I am living- when I'm making music."
Woozi cued up the track once again, sifting through it to find the error both he and Cyana could hear. Cyana watched from behind, feet tapping absentmindedly to the rhythm.
The concert venue held an insane amount of people. Cyana could only stare out into the vast sea, smiling from the sidelines as Woozi started his Opening Ment.
"I'm a stickler for routine." Woozi said, elbows on his knees as he explained to the interviewer. "Cyana proved to me new things can be better than the old- and I'm grateful to her for that." He side eyes the staff. "She won't see this, right?" Looking back at the camera, he continued. "Anyways, I'm thankful for my members because they are the ones who love my music the most. Because of that, I feel no pressure in creating, only joy."
The cheers from the crowd washed over Woozi as he performed with his members.
'There is something so special about seeing people enjoy your group's music. And it is even more special knowing you created it."
a/n: wahhh first hit the road ep done! it was def a journey, trying to combine cyana into the episode and also keeping it woozi-centered. I tried following the format of the og youtube docu- lmk how it was! these instalments might be on the shorter side just cause the docus are pretty short themselves (ïœĄâąÌïžżâąÌïœĄ)

ăăăâčăâăïž”ăâă destined âą
pairing singledad! zach maclaren x nanny! female reader
summary after you find out youâre pregnant, you tell zach and prepare to share the news together.
this is a continuation blurb of this two-shot! requested by anon.
You impatiently check the time on your phone again. Itâs been fourteen minutes since you sat down in the private room at the doctorâs office.
Your eyes travel over the lockscreen photo from your wedding half a year ago. In the captured moment, Zach is holding Ella. Her left arm is around her fatherâs shoulders and her right is around yours.
Her poofy dress is sparkling under the warm banquet hall lights, her smile just as big as yours and Zachâs.
Youâd done a lot of happy crying that day, but a moment after the photo was taken, youâd never had tears of joy quite like this.
Ella had run off after the shutter of the photographerâs camera and Zach pulled you in by the waist, his lips soft against your cheek, murmuring just loud enough to be heard over the music and people dancing around you, âYou know what she asked me this morning?â
âWhat?â
âSince I get to call you my wife, if she can call you her mommy.â
You nuzzled into the crook of his neck, tearing up as he held you tighter. She had just turned seven years old and still didnât talk about her biological mother all that much. She also hadnât called you anything other than your name.
Zach had told you heâd be comfortable with it if Ella grew to want to call you her mom. Youâd told him youâd be, too, but that you hoped she didnât think you were ever trying to replace anyone.
âReally?â you said, your hand over your heart. âWhatâd you say?â
âI said she can,â he replied. You pulled back to meet his eyes, beaming up at him, almost in disbelief that three years ago, youâd knocked on his door for the first time. You could have never known the turn your life would take.
âYou love her like sheâs yours,â he said, his eyes glossy, âand she loves you the same way. Iâm so happy she has you.â
You squeezed his hand. Heâd already reassured you many times that you werenât taking the place of Ellaâs mother or being a substitution for what she lost. Instead, youâre an addition to their lives.
âI canât believe how lucky I am,â he said. The tears he was trying to hold back fell from his eyes and he chuckled defeatedly. âWhoâs cried more today, do you think?â
âIâd say itâs even,â you said with a laugh.
The door opening pulls you out of the memory. You meet the doctorâs eyes, your heart thrumming.
You and Zach had been trying for a baby for four months now. You didnât even have to ask Ella what she thought about gaining a sibling. Sheâd been asking for one for a long time now.
After a string of failed attempts, you prefer not to tell Zach every time you take a test. You can see the disappointment in his eyes, no matter how hard he tries to hide it behind a gentle, âThe baby just wants to make us wait.â
A couple of nights ago, when the home test you secretly took showed two lines, you booked a blood test to be sure. The doctor starts her sentence with Congratulations and you exhale a shaky breath of relief.
ââââàšà§ââââ
Later that day, youâre folding laundry in the living room while Ellaâs at school. Zach gets home from an early practice and beams when he sees you, dropping his bag on the floor.
âHi, baby,â he says. âHow are you?â
âGood. How was training?â
âIâm getting old,â he chuckles, stretching his arms over his head. You laugh.
Zach had already decided that after eight years, this is his last season professionally playing. He was offered a position on the coaching team after he told his managers heâd be resigning. Heâs ready to slow down, to work a job that doesnât have such a high risk of injury, to have more time for his family.
He sits next to you, takes the t-shirt out of your hands, folds it and then puts it on the stack on the table so that youâre free to hug him. You giggle as he leans forward and pushes you back against the couch. Heâs hovering over you, his cheek pressed on yours as he hugs you, smelling like his body wash.
Zach lives for these simple moments. Getting home to you, holding you, grounding himself and reminding himself that this is what life is about.
âHey, howâs your day look six Mondays from now?â you ask.
âThatâs specific,â he laughs. âIâll have to check. Why?â
âIâd prefer it if you came to the ultrasound with me.â
He pulls back, searching your face in awe.
âWhat?â he whispers. âAre you⊠What?â
âI am,â you laugh, tears building in your eyes, stroking his soft hair.
âWhen did youâŠ?â
âThis morning,â you say. âI didnât want to tell you in case it came back negative.â
âIâmâŠâ Zach doesnât have words. He leans forward, gently pressing his lips against yours, shuffling quickly so he doesnât put any weight on you.
âItâs okay,â you laugh. âYou wonât break us.â
âUs,â he repeats happily, his voice cracking. He looks down at your stomach, gently putting his hand on you. âItâs okay that you made us wait,â he whispers to the baby. âI already know you were worth it. Are you being gentle with your mom?â
He looks up at you, a flash of concern washing over his awestruck face.
âIâm a little more tired than usual,â you say. âBut nothing crazy yet.â
âI canât believe it,â Zach sighs. He sniffles, his heart racing with happiness as his eyes fill with tears. âI canât believe it.â
âI know,â you breathe. âMe, neither. We can give her the book soon.â
Zach smiles. Heâd bought a childrenâs book a few months back about becoming a big sister for when it was time to tell Ella a baby was on the way.
Having known you for nearly four years now, he was already well aware of how pure your heart is. But the fact that your first thought is to tell Ella is yet another reminder of how youâve always seen yourself as not only sharing your life with him, but with her, too.
âGonna be hard not to do it right away,â he says.
âDo you have any idea how hard these last three hours have been?â you laugh. âI couldnât wait to tell you. But weâll share the news with her after the first trimester. To be safe.â
âOf course,â he agrees, cupping your face and pulling you in for another tender kiss.
ââââàšà§ââââ
By the three month mark, your appetite has grown and fatigue has hit you hard. When the day comes to tell Ella, youâre bursting with excitement to tell her the news.
After dinner, you sit on the couch, already used to Zach quietly telling you to sit down and not do any housework.
Ellaâs doing homework at the coffee table as you help. You gaze at her as she concentrates on her writing and remember the four-year-old she was when you first walked into this house.
Sheâs nearly eight now and still has so many of the qualities youâd first noticed about her. Sheâs energetic and loves conversation and never hesitates to show affection.
Zach comes in from cleaning up after dinner and raises his eyebrows at you, discreetly holding the book. You nod to confirm youâre ready, nervous.
He sits next to you, taking one last moment to look at you and at his daughter, accepting that this is the last moment the three of you will have like this. His family is growing now, and it feels like his heart is, too.
âIs it two Râs? Or one?â Ella mumbles, the pencil in her hand. She looks up when you donât answer, too busy trying not to cry as you watch her. âAre you okay, mommy?â
âYeah,â you say. âIâm okay. Can you sit with us for a moment?â
Ella nods, running towards you. Zach stops her in his arms before she lands too close to you. You laugh, having already told him privately that sheâs never rough enough to hurt the baby, but he canât be too careful.
âI have a book for you,â Zach says, kissing Ella on the temple as she sits between you. âCan you tell me what you think?â
He hands her the purple hardcover.
âWhatâs it called?â you ask.
âBig Sisters Are The Best,â she reads. She curiously opens the page, gazing over the illustrations of a little girl with a baby.
âThank you,â she says politely. âIâll tell my friend Kaley about this book. Maybe she can borrow it. Sheâs a big sister.â
You chuckle, meeting Zachâs eyes. He rubs Ellaâs back and tells her, âYouâre going to be a big sister, too, honey.â
Ellaâs gaze darts up to him, then to you, then back again.
âReally?â she says. Zachâs face brightens with endearment, eyes growing shiny with tears.
âReally?â she repeats, looking at you.
âReally,â you say, putting a hand over your stomach. âThatâs why I keep going back for seconds at dinner lately. Thereâs a baby in here making me extra hungry.â
Ella stands up, unable to contain her happiness, jumping up and down in her spot a few times before wrapping you into a hug. You laugh as she wiggles in your arms.
Zach wipes his eyes, still unsure of what he did to deserve this sort of happiness. Itâs like heâs in another world, experiencing a type of joy reserved specifically for him.
âThis is the best day ever,â she says. âAnd youâre the best mommy ever and daddyâs the best daddy ever.â
âHe is,â you agree, looking at him with pure love.
ââââàšà§ââââ
âYouâre such a girl dad,â you say amusedly when you go into Ellaâs bedroom.
Zachâs sitting on the floor as Ella adds what looks like the twentieth clip in his hair, while he holds Olivia, whoâs happily ripping up a piece of paper.
He smiles at you gratefully. Your one-year-old is exactly how Ella was at that age. Curious, smiley, and eager to make messes wherever she can. He knows youâre technically a blended family, but it has never felt like that.
âElla, can you do mine next?â you ask.
âAfter Olivia,â she says happily. âI told her sheâs next and I have to keep my promise.â
âOf course,â you say. âSheâs lucky to have such a nice big sister.â
âEbba,â Olivia babbles.
âElla,â Ella corrects. You laugh. It feels like yesterday, youâd just met her and Zach, and he was correcting her on how sheâd called him the bestest. Now, sheâs growing before your eyes, already so mature and well-mannered.
âBut Ebbaâs okay,â Ella says with a smile. She leans to give her little sister a kiss on the forehead, earning a giggle from her, clapping for more.
You sit on the floor next to Zach, squeezing his knee lovingly as your daughters laugh together. He takes your hand and brings it up to kiss the back of it.
âAnd to think,â you joke, âwe wouldnât be here if I bombed my interview.â
Zach laughs, shaking his head as he kisses your hand again.
âNo,â he says. âThis is how life was meant to be. You would have found us, no matter what. I know it.â
You grin at him, nodding in agreement.
Sitting here with his wife and daughters is the definition of destiny. Zach knows deep in his soul that he was always fated to be right here, with his heart split between three beautiful girls.

Smeared Lipstick
Still on my Logan nonsense (thank god) and had a round of Patch!Logan feels. I know nothing about him other than what I saw in Deadpool and Wolverine, so sorry if I messed him up somehow.
This is for @likedovesinthewnd because she's the one who told me I should write it lol
Also shout out to @bpmiranda for posting the best/nastiest smut fics that inspired me to go ham and not hold back for once. If you need some more Logan, read mine first but she's got a lot more!
Warnings: Casino, basically pure smut with only a sprinkle of plot, oral (male receiving), some light conartistry, mutant reader, bathroom smut, fingering (both receiving because I'm a feminist lol), sugar daddy but only kinda, Patch!Logan, a touch of 'getting caught', and probably some other stuff. Let me know if I missed anything important.
Word Count: 3473 (don't look at me)
[More Logan]
[Main Master List]
âHit me,âÂ
The dealer passed Logan another card and he concealed his joy easily. Heâd hit 20 for the third time at this table. Lady Luck always on his side.
âYou win again, sir,â The dealer said, pushing the new stack chips across the table to him.
âIâm afraid itâs time we close this table, sir,â Your voice always soothed something in him. Youâd been working at this particular casino for a few months, and so, Logan always found himself at your tables. No one suspected the truth of why you both were there.
âPity, I was doing so well,â Logan looked up at you with his one good eye, drinking in the way your glittery red dress hugged every single one of your edges just right. How you hair was done up with sparkly bits to match the shine on your dress. How your lipstick was the exact shade of red as your dress.
You looked good enough to eat, if he were being honest.
âIâm sure I can find you somewhere else to play,â You smile, half customer service, half something naughty. Logan put the cigar heâd been chewing on away into his pocket. He had a feeling heâd find himself with something better to put in his mouth shortly.
âLead the way, sweetheart,â Logan stood, leaving his chips all on the table. âCash those into my account,â This was directed at the dealer who was just cleaning up his station.
âPlease, Mr. Locken,â You urged the dealer. He was a clever young man, one of your best dealers. Heâd caught three different cheaters in his time at the casino, and you were impressed that he was so good at catching them. Even the team upstairs, whoâs entire job it was to catch cheating, had missed one of the three Locken had spotted.
âOf course, Miss Y/N,â Locken replied, gathering Loganâs chips.
âThank you,â You said, taking Loganâs arm and leading him away.Â
Logan had been staring at the skin exposed that showed over the slinky material of your dress. You knew poor Locken likely knew exactly what you and Mr. Logan were about to get up to. Locken didnât really want to know, but it wasnât exactly a secret that you and Mr. Logan, the high roller with an eye patch, were an item. Most of the staff knew, and the rest likely suspected.
But Mr. Logan, being a high roller, got away with all kinds of things. Fucking the floor manager was hardly a big deal or a surprise at that point.
âAnd where are you taking me, Miss Y/N,â Logan mocked Lockenâs tone and you smacked his chest with one hand. âAs I recall, there arenât any tables this way, and the hotel is the other direction too,âÂ
âI was thinking you needed a little more luck,â You told him. âI heard that another big fish was headed in to drop some cash, and heâs luckier than most who walk through the door.â There was something about you that no one in the building, other than Logan, knew about you⊠and that was that you are a mutant who could control a personâs luck. You can also see how lucky someone is, just by touching them. It came in all kinds of handy working in a casino, and extra handy where Logan was involved. The two of you having a sort of arrangement in regards to luck.
âWhat did you have in mind for me?â Logan mused as you led him down another hallway and into a single stall bathroom. It was one of the large single stall bathrooms, where several people could use the two sinks and spacious counter during a wedding or other event, usually to get ready. This particular bathroom was out of the way of the main space though, less likely to get interrupted.
âLock the door,â You told him with a saucy smirk.Â
You and Logan had met originally in a different casino, and heâd figured out that his string of bad luck had been tied to you. He thought, originally, that it was because heâd gotten so distracted by you that heâd lost his edge. You knew it was because youâd turned all his luck to bad and all your own luck to good, hoping to clean house well enough to eat for the next month.
âYes, maâam,â Logan turned to lock the door and when he turned back, you were sitting on the counter, skirt hiked up to your knees. Logan took a deep breath through his nose that quickly dissolved into a growl of pleasure as he smelled your arousal. âNever will get over how good you smell, honey,â He stepped between your thighs and tipped your chin up so that you were looking at him.
âOnly for you baby,â You purred back, leaning up so your breath brushed his lips sensually.
âNo kissing,â Logan reminded you, and you pouted, but you knew the deal. After heâd found you out as a mutant, youâd both struck a deal. You would give him better luck, and he'd take good care of you, effectively becoming your sugar daddy. Only, if you called him âdaddyâ heâd bend you over his knee, so you saved that for special occasions.Â
âPlease?â You begged, knowing that was the only line left in the sand between you. Youâd done everything else, had sex in every direction you could think of. But no kissing. Never kissing.
You didnât like it, but it was easy enough to complain around.
âYou know the rules,â Logan growled softly. He ran his tongue along the exposed skin at your throat and you moaned. He chuckled, feeling your vibrations against his tongue.
âRules are made to be broken, I thought?â You press as he steps forward to bump the hardness in his pants against you. Your hips move against him as if there was ever any question to what was going on between you.
âI can walk away,â Logan warned and you whined, but nodded to tell him youâd stop asking. âGood girl,âÂ
âWait,â You said, suddenly having a sordid idea. Logan rocked backwards on his heel enough to peer questioningly into your face. âLet me take care of you this time,âÂ
âYou wanna take care of me?â Logan asked skeptically. You reached down to palm him through his slacks. His eye fluttered closed at the contact and he had to brace himself on the counter on either side of you.
âPlease, baby? Since you wonât let me kiss you, at least let me taste you?â You batted your eyelashes at him and he knew he was a sucker for giving in to you anytime you did that. Hell, heâd kill a man no questions asked, if you batted your lashes at him.
âGet to it then,â He moved back only far enough to let you slide off the counter and to your knees. You made short work of undoing his belt and pants. You pulled his slacks and boxers down just far enough to allow his cock to spring free. He was already rock hard and leaking for you when you cooed happily and kitten licked the warm tip of him.
He had to grip the counter again to remain in control of himself. You smirked as you did it again, tasting the salty tang of his precum before you wrapped your lips around just the head of his cock.
âFuck,â Logan grunted, trying his best not to slam his dick straight down your throat. He knew you could take it, but he wanted to let you get there on your own.
âWant me to stop?â You pause only long enough to ask before you licked a long stripe up the underside of him, tracing the thick vein there from balls to tip.
âDonât you dare,â Logan pants, cursing again when you go back to the small licks along the very tip of his cock. You always seemed to know exactly how to drive him out of his mind. Maybe that was why heâd give you anything you wanted. Diamonds, jewelry, gold, silver, hotel rooms, a car if you asked for it⊠Heâd give you anything his money could buy.Â
Anything but the heart he was pretty sure you werenât even aware youâd already stolen.
You pressed a small kiss to his angry red tip before sticking out your tongue and sliding him into the warmth of your mouth.
Logan cursed again, his hips bucking once before he could stop himself. You adjusted your knees on the hard tile floor, loosened your jaw, and slid your hands lovingly around his thighs.
With your eyes fluttering softly and the end of his dick in your mouth, Logan was surprised he didnât cum right there on your tongue.
You looked up at him and gave a slight nod, telling him you were ready for him to take control if he wanted it. Logan felt his heart rate spike as the animal in him begged to claim you. If he wasnât careful heâd bury his fist in your hair and throat fuck you until you couldnât speak. But heâd promised to be careful when you were at work, because you needed to look nice for the casino.
When Logan didnât immediately take over, you leaned forward, taking more and more of him into your mouth, slowly, until he just barely touched the back of your throat. Your throat constricted on a gag and the feeling of your throat closing was all it took for the animal inside him to break free.
Loganâs strong hand cradled the back of your head, trying to avoid pulling out the glittery baubles youâd put there this morning before heâd driven you to work. You leaned back into his palm, trying to ease the sensation in your throat, and you got relief for about two beats before that same careful hand pulled you back along him until your nose was pressed flush with the rough hair at his base.
You knew it was his turn to have his fun now, and you couldnât help but grin for a moment before you remembered how hard it was to breathe around the girth of his cock.
Your nails dug into the meat of his thighs as you focused on breathing while he jerked his hips. The drag of his cock along your tongue made heat pool in your stomach as he abused your throat over and over again.
Meanwhile, Logan was making the most guttural noises while he used your throat. His grunting and groaning echoing in the empty bathroom, occasionally punctuated by a soft curse or two when your throat squeezed him just right. All paired with the wet sound of his cock sliding in and out of your throat.
But as much as youâd love to let him stay there in your mouth until he came, you needed a break. You reached up and tapped on his stomach, your agreed sign that you needed air.Â
Instantly, Logan pulled back and caught your eyes with his one good eye.
âYou alright?â He asked and you nodded with a slight cough.
âJust needed to catch my breath,â You admitted. âIâm out of practice,âÂ
âI know one way to fix that,â Logan said with a cheeky grin.
âGive me five more seconds,â You said, adjusting on your knees again. You took a second to pull his slacks down to his knees. You lean in and give some attention to each of his beefy thighs, kissing the strong muscles and nibbling the soft flesh.
âDonât tease me,â Logan grumbled, his hand coming back to your head. âFinish what you started,âÂ
âYes, sir,â You batted your lashes up at him and his cock twitched next to your face. You take another moment to lick the side of him, rubbing his length against your face, showcasing just how long he is compared to your head. It was a wonder you could fit him all down your throat.
You kiss the side of his dick a few times, preparing you both for another round, and with one last kitten lick to his slit, his dick slid back into your throat.
The second time is always easier for you, and youâre always happy to help when it means heâs letting out those grunting noises you love so much.
And you knew exactly what would make him whine for you too.
You slid your hands up and around the back of his thighs until you could grip both of his taught buttcheeks in your hand. This distracted him enough from his movements that you were able to swallow around his tip and make him groan again. You bobbed your head as you kneaded his flesh and he got lost in the sensation the exact same way you did when he was face down between your legs. And just like he always did, you carefully slid a finger into his waiting hole.
The noise Logan makes is something you wish you could bottle up for a rainy day. Itâs somewhere near a whine and too gravelly to be a whimper. You withdraw only long enough to add some moisture to your digits before working yourself back into him, stroking at that spot deep inside that makes his thighs tense and his knees shake.
Having discovered how stroking him like this made him feel, you understood why he liked to finger-fuck you so much. Making him experience such pleasure, pleasure that only you have brought him? Heaven. Heaven on earth, about to cum down your throat.
Logan never lasts long with your fingers in his ass.
You hold your breath while he comes undone in your mouth, bucking his hips against the swirling of your tongue. You try to swallow it all, but itâs difficult when heâs moving still, so you just hold on until heâs pumped every last drop into your mouth.
Before he can be overstimulated too much, he pulls your hand away from him and slides himself from your soft mouth.
âFuck, baby, thought you were going to suck me dry for a second there,âÂ
âI would if youâd let me,â You smiled up at him. He reached down and gently rubbed his thumb under your bottom lip, catching a drip of his cum that you hadnât managed to swallow. At first you thought heâd press it into your mouth, but instead he brought it to his own and you felt your face flame with unexpected heat.
âMaybe next time sweetheart,â Logan helped you to your feet before adjusting himself and pulling up his slacks.
âWait, youâve got lipstick all over,â You tried to stop him from tucking himself away hoping you could clean him up properly, but he just chuckled and did up his pants.
âSomething to remember you by,â He teased and you rolled your eyes before turning to the mirror to see the state of your own face. It was about what youâd figured but also you didnât mind in the slightest.
Your red lipstick was smeared all across your cheek, your eyes were wet so your eyeshadow had mostly rubbed off, but luckily your eyeliner had stayed put. You wore super waterproof eyeliner for that reason after all. There was still some of the sticky release of Loganâs painted on your lips and tongue from where youâd failed to swallow it all.
âLook at that,â You mused. âYou smeared my lipstick,â Logan chuckled at that, turning you around so that he could see.
âSeems so,â He reached into his pocket and pulled out a silk handkerchief. He gently took your chin and held you steady while he soiled the white silk with your red lipstick and the remains of his cum. After fucking your throat like that, you almost forgot he could be gentle too.
You liked it when he was gentle.
When Logan was satisfied with his work, he put his handkerchief back in his pocket and leaned down to kiss your cheek, you froze when you felt his lips at the edge of yours. Almost a kiss.Â
But he knew better than that.Â
You both did.
You whined softly for him, wanting more, but you also needed to get back to work.
âTurn around for me,â Logan said. You raised an eyebrow at him but did as he asked, gasping when he pressed himself against your ass.
âLogan,â You chided. âI need to head back,âÂ
âJust give me a minute to return the favor,â Logan was smirking at you over your shoulder as you watched him in the mirror. âI promise I wonât smear your lipstick this time,â You bit your lip at the thought of him getting you off here too.
âI really should be getting back,â You tried to say, but it was half hearted at best. He smacked your ass and you whimpered at him, terribly needy and terribly turned on.
âSpread your legs for me and lift your skirt,â He commanded against the shell of your ear. âNow,â You jumped at the authority in his voice and moved to do as he asked. You hoisted your skirt up to your hips and let your legs shift apart so that he had room to slide his knee between your thighs.
You gasped as he bounced his leg into your sensitive folds.
âIâll repay you properly when we get home tonight, but until then,â He pressed a soft kiss to the side of your neck. âLet me make my baby feel good,â You could only nod as he reached down and slid his hand into your already soaked panties.
âLogan,â You moaned as his finger traced circles around your bud. âThat feels so good,âÂ
âGood,â He nibbled on your earlobe. âJust relax,âÂ
You were about to give in entirely until the handle to the bathroom jiggled and it reminded you all at once that you were at work.
âFuck, LoganâŠâ You tried to stop him, but he dipped his fingers deeper and you mewled instead.
âDonât worry about that, focus on me and what Iâm doing,â Logan purred. The handle rattled again and this time you heard someone curse about the bathroom being occupied too long.
You jumped when the person outside banged on the door.
âFind another bathroom, bub!â Logan growled loudly as he kicked the door angrily in return. Another curse from outside the door and Logan slowed his movements until he couldnât hear the person outside anymore. âNow where were we?â
You were gripping his arm, which was wrapped around your waist to keep you in place.
âI donât even remember,â You admitted with a laugh, which shifted into a moan as he moved his fingers against you again and all at once you remembered. âFuck,â You moaned.
âThatâs it,â He sped up his fingers, watching your face in the mirror as your closed your eyes in pleasure. âCome on, baby, give it to me,â He grunted against your shoulder, his teeth teasing your skin.
It didnât take much more for you to cum around his fingers, fluttering and shaking in his arms as he held you up.
âThatâs it pretty girl, thatâs it,â Logan purrs against your ear, pressing a soft kiss to your shoulder. âThatâs my pretty girl,âÂ
You turned, wanting to kiss him, to thank him for this, but you remembered his rule, so instead you pressed your forehead into his jaw and whined at him.
âI really do need to get back to work,â You whisper. âAnd you need to go make enough money for that trip weâve been talking about,âÂ
âYes maâam,â Logan chuckles in your ear as he finally pulls his fingers out of the tight embrace of your cunt. You groan at the loss of him, but hum in pleasure when you watch him lick his fingers clean. âNeed me to carry you to your desk?â He teases.
âOh shush,â You stand and adjust yourself. âI was just enjoying the moment for a little longer,âÂ
âCould always play hooky and use your key to get us into a room upstairs,â Logan said it like he was nothing but serious. You shove him playfully.
âYeah, and then Iâll get fired again,â You chide. âWeâre going to run out of good casinos if we keep doing that,âÂ
âSo?â He pressed his lips to your temple. âMaybe when we run out of casinos, Iâll make an honest woman out of you,â This makes you pause. Could he be serious?Â
âOnly once weâve run out?â You asked, trying not to sound too hopeful.Â
âAnd if we get married, Iâll have to kiss you, wonât I?â It sounded almost like a tease, but there was nothing but joy and mirth in his eye.
And maybe, just maybe, love was sparkling in there too.

first and foremost i feel like a common mischaracterization has to be cleared up⊠bro is NOT a womanizer lmfaooo
in fact heâs prob a virgin like it would take a lot for him to be sexually vulnerable like that
now that thatâs been said-
heâs basically ur best friend
like yes he loves u and yes ur his s/o but he can also be so so annoying at times
rich asf so heâs always spoiling u
and he doesnât even do it on purpose
for example heâll be shopping for himself in luxury brand stores (bros a diva) but then he sees something u would like and js buys it bc why tf not
he never expects anything in return
def the whiny brat in the relationship
kind of a red flag but he LOOOVES starting meaningless arguments for funsies
also loves complaining abt anything and everything to u
and whenever he learns a new piece of gossip youâll be the first to know fs
100% NOT afflicted by nonchalant dreadhead disease
like he THINKS heâs being all nonchalant and shit but in reality heâs the most chalant person ever
his favorite type of date is going out to eat
whether itâs a fancy restaurant or stalls on the street he loves eating and he loves watching u enjoy ur food too
it would be ironic to say his love language is physical touch but for those he feels close to he likes when theyâre physically close as well
bear hugs = his favorite form of affection
likes watching movies w u but not romance movies (he thinks theyâre cheesy and unrealistic)
heâll watch spiderman w u over and over again tho and to this day cries abt how mj doesnât remember peter
loves playing mario kart w u
beats u every single time and brags about it
doesnât really like TOO much pda
like heâll hold ur hand, put his arm around u, hug u, etc. in public but thatâs pretty much the extent
but in private itâs a different storyâŠ
good luck getting this man to detach his 6â3 body from u
his infinity is off almost 24/7 when itâs just the two of u
likes taking random pictures of u when ur caught off guard so he can tease u later
heâs a menace in the kitchen but when ur cooking and u need a taste tester he always volunteers
he got u a âkiss the cookâ apron for ur birthday once and now just uses it as an excuse to kiss u randomly whenever u wear it
brags about u to his students like all the time and they get annoyed
âgojo sensei ur supposed to be solving the math problem on the board-â
âoh! y/n is SOO good at math! i mean just yesterday she told me-â
âGOJO SENSEI!!â
has a big ass sweet tooth that ends up rubbing off on u
his phone lock screen is definitely some cursed image of u and every time someone asks who heâs dating he just pulls out his phone and theyâre like âoh⊠đâ
his love for u is very obvious bc heâs always giving u âthe lookâ when ur not looking according to other ppl
iâm ngl tho sometimes u wake up in the middle of the night for a glass of water and see this dudes bright blue glowing orbs staring right at u and it freaks u tf out

pairing: sim jake x reader ây/nâ
genre: angst, exes to lovers
warnings: not a lot really but please let me know if i miss one, mentions of death, car accident, profanity, reader has/had amnesia, 18+
summary: your sister gets a call from the principal to pick up her daughter after an altercation with another student. unable to because of work, she asks you to pick up your niece and when you do, you meet an old face. one you hadnât seen in years and one you definitely have tried to forget. among the memories youâve forgotten, you wish you had forgotten him.
word count: 8517
ââ
âŒâ
â
your phone rings, jolting you out of your sleep. your sisterâs contact appears on your phone and you bring it to your ear as you press the green accept button. âitâs 8am why are you calling me?â you say, voice hoarse. âwhat? y/n, its 10am are you still in bed? ugh, that doesnât matter. jiheon got into a fight at school, can you pick her up please?â your sister asks. âiâd pick her up but iâm about to enter a conference, please, iâll owe you one!â she says before ending the call, not giving you a chance to even answer. it wasnât like you werenât going to pick her up, you loved your niece and would do anything for her.Â
you quickly freshened up, changing into new clothes and putting your hair back into a clip. the drive to your nieceâs school wasnât too long. it was only 10 minutes away. when you got there, some students were playing in the courtyard. you made your way to the office, âhi, iâm y/n. iâm jiheonâs aunt, her mom asked me to come pick her up. is everything alright?â you ask the lady at the front desk. âmiss park? are you jiheonâs mom?â a man in a suit who you assumed was the principal approached you. âno, iâm her aunt. her mom is at an important conference right now so she asked me to look after jiheon, is everything okay?â you asked once again, worried that you hadnât seen your niece but had already asked for her a few times.Â
âauntie y/n!â jiheon shouts. you peer behind the principal and see jiheon running towards you. she crashes into you with a hug, her small figure only reaching to your waist. you kneel down to her level, âhey dear, is everything ok? are you hurt?â you ask her and she just looks down while nodding. clearly she had been affected in some way and you wanted to know what was going on.Â
âwhat happened? all i know is that jiheon got into a fight? what is that about?â you say while softly pulling your niece behind you. âwell, she pushed another student off of a swing.â the man explains. âhe started it! he was calling me names!â jiheon shouts from behind you, causing you to further put her behind you to shield her away.Â
âso she was defending herself. case closed, the other student should be punished- wait he? you pushed a boy off a swing?â you ask your niece and she nods. you mouth the word ânice!â and give her a high five before turning back to the principal. âwe have a no violence policy here at Bright Spring Academy. jiheon will have to come in on a saturday for disciplinary training for the rest of the month.â
âwhat?!â you and your niece both yell in disbelief. this moment reminded you of when you would constantly get in trouble in school back when you were younger. at some point your parents made you switch schools 3 times in one year because of how much trouble you were getting into.Â
âthatâs ridiculous! and what punishment is the other student going to get-â you ask but are cut off by another man running into the office. âprincipal lim! is leehan okay?â he asks, completely ignoring your presence and shoving past you to get to the principal. a little boy runs from the same direction jiheon had previously appeared from and ran up to the man. âuncle!â he yells and the man kneels down to the boy's level to receive his hug. he softly rubs the back of the boyâs head, âyou alright bud?â he asks, his strong australian accent giving you deja vu. Â
ââ
âŒâ
â
you and jake were walking in a park hand in hand when he spotted a stray dog limping on the side of the street. jake quickly looks both ways before crossing the street, dragging you along as your hand was still in his.Â
he kneels down to the small dog, petting him softly; âyou alright bud?â he asks the dog. the dog releases a small whimper before it cuddles up to jakeâs hand. Â
ââ
âŒâ
â
âjake?!â you say in disbelief. âyeah?â he says before looking up at whoever called his name. when jake finally lets go of his nephew and looks up at you with his big puppy eyes, it's like heâs hit with a truck. he hasnât seen you in years, the shock of seeing you out of nowhere causing him to lose balance and stumble onto the floor. âuncle!â leehan says, his small hands trying his best to help his uncle back on his feet. jake gets back on his feet, dusting himself off, and running his hand through his hair.Â
ây/n⊠what are you doing?â he asks, voice trembling a bit but his eyes says that heâs happy to see you. âleaving.â you say while grabbing your niece's hand and making your way to the exit. âdonât forget about saturday disciplinary classes!â principal lim says. âjiheon wonât be attending unless heâs there too.â you say, gesturing to jakeâs nephew; and with that the two of you head to your car. âthanks auntie⊠iâm sorry.â jiheon says, causing you to whip your head around to face your niece.Â
once again, knelt in front of your 8 year old niece. you softly brush away her hair that has landed in front of her face. she was looking down, embarrassment and shame was spread across her tiny face. âheyâŠâ you say while grabbing her chin to look at you. ânever. apologize. okay?â emphasizing each word. âyou did the right thing.â you say, making sure that your niece knew that you meant every word. âbut mom says violence isnât the answer.â she says, now fiddling with the hem of her sweater. âplease, your mom and i used to beat up boys in school if they looked at us weird.â you say and her eyes light up at your words. âreally?â she says and you nod. grabbing her hand once again as you approach your car. âyeah, but donât tell her i said that. itâs good you defend yourself from a bully, thatâs what matters.â you explain as you unlock your car and open the door to the back seat. you help jiheon get into your car, sliding her backpack off and putting it onto the seat next to her. you help buckle her seatbelt when someone calls out to you.Â
ây/n!â you turn your head around, the sun in your eyes but you could clearly see who called after you. you see jake running up to you so you quickly close the door, âgive me a sec sweetie, ok?â you say and jiheon just nods.Â
âwhat the hell do you want?â you ask and jake quickly coverâs his nephews ears. âlanguage!â he whisper yells, you mutter a small sorry. âwhen did you get back?â jake asks, hands still covering the small boyâs ear standing in front of him. you always imagined jake would be a good father. you often talked about a life where you had a family and grew old together.Â
ââ
âŒâ
â
âso how many kids do you want?â you ask him, playing with his hands as you both laid on your bed in your dorm. âhmm, 5?â jake says and it surprises you so much you begin to cough. âwoah, baby you okay?â he says while laughing.
âjaeyun? five?!â you ask him and he just nods at you with a silly smile and his puppy eyes. you shake your head at him and smile back. âi donât know if i can handle five kids.â you say half jokingly. he grabs your head and brings it to his lips, softly placing a kiss onto them. âdonât worry, iâll take care of you and all the kiddos. iâd make sure to give all of them equal attention and to love all of you with all my heart!â he says, rubbing your tummy and giving it a kiss as if there was already a child growing inside of you. âbutâŠâ jake says with a pause.Â
âiâd be happy with anything, just as long as youâre by my side.âÂ
ââ
âŒâ
â
âlike⊠four months ago. jake what do you want?â you ask, finally giving him his answer but not without asking a question of your own. jake stutters, trying to come up with an answer but to his dismay he isnât really able to form one. not because he didnât have an answer, but because he was too stunned and didnât know how to answer it without crumbling. âi just-â he begins but cuts himself off. no answer leaving his lips.Â
âbye jake.â you say as you begin to turn around. âwhy didnât you tell me?â he asks, desperation dripping from his words like he was begging you for an explanation when you clearly didnât owe him one. âi have no obligation to you jake. we havenât been together for 6 years.â you say before finally turning around and getting inside of your car.Â
âwho is that auntie?â jiheon asks as she played with the hem of her sweater. âjust some weirdo, you ready kiddo?â you ask her and she yells in excitement. you begin to back your car up but jake was slightly in the way. you didnât like jake but you werenât about to commit a crime and run him over with your car. you honk the horn causing jake and his nephew to jump, moving out of your way so you could leave the parking lot. once you had finished backing out, you sped off back to your sisterâs house, exhausted by the interactions you had today and it wasnât even 1PM.Â
jake watched you drive off, disappointment lingering in his head at how that went. for the last 6 years he hasnât stopped thinking about you. he even would write a script in his head how he would talk to you when he sees you again for the first time in a while. needless to say, this wasnât how he expected it to go. he combs his hand through his hair with a big sigh, âuncle can we go now? iâm hungry.â leehan says, tugging on his uncleâs jacket. âright! yeah, sorry bud. come on.â jake says as he grabs his nephewâs backpack as they make their way to his car. only parked a few spots away from where your car was.Â
ââ
âŒâ
â
you were helping your sister set the dinner table, trying to figure out the best way to bring up the jake fiasco earlier in the day when your niece randomly blurts it out, âauntie almost punched a guy at school today.â she says nonchalantly. your sisterâs face contorts into a puzzled expression while you stare at your niece like she had just betrayed you. âjiheon! i did not!â you say with a scoff, slightly laughing. âjiheon, go upstairs really quick. iâll call you down when dinner is ready.â your sister says as she stirs the soup on the stove.Â
jiheon gets up from her spot at the kitchen counter in one of the stools and walks up the stairs to her room but not before you tickle her for her betrayal, resulting in her shrieking followed by a giggle as she runs up the stairs. âso what was that about?â your sister inquires.Â
ânothingâŠâ you say with a side eye, hoping your sister would take your side instead of believing her 8 year old daughter. ây/nâŠâ she says like your mom used to say when she would warn you. âokay!â you say, throwing your hands up in defeat. âi didnât punch a guy okay! but⊠i did run into jakeâŠâ you say, whispering the last part. âyou what?â she asks, unclear what she heard. âiranintojakeattheschool.â you say, blending all the words together with the speed that they left your mouth. ây/n!â your sister says, an irritated expression spread across her face. âi ran into jake! gosh! must i talk about that man!â you say, slumping into a seat at the dinner table. head resting on your hand as you propped it up on the table. a pout visible on your face. âoh⊠jake you say..?â your sister says, slowly turning away from you to return to stirring the soup on the stove. âyes⊠what?â you ask, now concerned because of her reaction.Â
âoh, nothing.â she says with an awkward chuckle. you stand up from the table and get closer to her. âjoy, what??â you ask her, now wanting an answer out of her. sure jake was your ex boyfriend but her reaction read as something else. not the reaction you were expecting
from your older sister when you bring up an ex. âjiheon! honey, dinnerâs ready!â your sister yells out, trying to change the subject. âjoy!â you say, swatting your hand at her but she was too far. before you know it, jiheon is rushing back downstairs with a piece of paper in her hand. âthis isnât done.â you mouth to your sister before you grab some glasses from the kitchen counter to bring to the table.Â
youâre setting the glasses down at their respective places when jiheon hands you the piece of paper. âwhatâs this jiji?â you ask, using the nickname you gave her. âopen it!â she says as she rocks back and forth on her heels and toes. you unfolded the paper and inside there was a heart and two stick figures you assumed was you and your niece, and the words âiâm sorryâ written in the heart.Â
âaww, jiji i wasnât actually mad! donât worry, i forgive you!â you tell her, reassuring your niece that she shouldnât feel bad and that you were only joking around. she gives you a tight hug and the three of you have dinner.Â
ever since you moved back to korea, you had been living with your sister and her daughter. your sisterâs husband worked overseas for your parentâs company while your sister helped manage the branch in south korea now that your parents were getting too old to be constantly working. your brother in law was a good man, but you could see that his family missed him.Â
your sister was kind enough to let you live with her instead of making you find an overpriced condo somewhere in the city. ever since the accident it has been hard for you to be alone, so being with them made things a lot easier for you when you came back to korea.Â
when you were 23, you were in a car accident that shouldâve killed you. you broke several bones and had several cuts and bruises scattered across your skin; you were in such critical condition that the hospital at one point started preparing your family for preparations for your death, but life had other plans. instead of leaving this earth, you were in a coma for 8 months. after close monitoring and intensive care, the doctorâs taking care of you were surprised that you had opened your eyes one day.Â
you were now 28, almost 29 when you moved back to korea. your mother stayed by your side throughout your whole recovery in america, never leaving your side, she was like your guardian angel. when you woke up from your coma, the doctorâs diagnosed you with amnesia, which they expected with the amount of damage and trauma your body and mind went through. it took a year and a half for most of your memories to come back, however, the events of that night, so traumatic, never returned. to which youâre grateful for. even today, you have a hard time forming coherent and structured memories that stick in your mind unless a specific instance sticks in your brain.Â
ââ
âŒâ
â
youâre washing the dishes in the kitchen when joy slips the last of the dishes into the sink, âreally?â you said with a stoic expression. it was just like when you were younger, sliding plates into the sink while the other was already washing dishes to avoid having to wash your own. the two of you laugh it off as your sister gives you a small hug. âthanks for picking up jiheon.â she says, giving your shoulders a squeeze before letting go.Â
âi donât know what iâm going to do with her. her behavior has been so different latelyâŠâ your sister says, leaning on the kitchen counter. âwhat do you mean? she seems fine to me.â you respond, eyes focused on cleaning the dishes in the sink. âwhat? she literally got into a fight today.â your sister reminds you. âno, she didnât! the boy was bullying her and she defended herself, what about that is her getting into a fight?â you retort and your sister rolls her eyes at your response, like she expected that from you.Â
âviolence isnât the answer y/n. you, of all people should know that that behavior isnât good.â she says, causing you to scoff at her. âoh, donât give me that bullshit joy. i turned out fine. you need to prioritize your daughterâs safety and well being instead of being too focused on this behavior of hers.â you say, putting air quotes around âbehaviorâ; soap suds flying into the air at your motion.Â
âsheâs clearly not doing well because of a bully and instead of automatically thinking sheâs the problem because she pushed some kid in self defense, maybe you need to focus on your daughterâs mental health.â you say, unloading onto your sister, disappointed in her for not seeing the bigger picture. âthis has clearly been happening for too long and she had been bottling it inside until she had enough and finally stood up for herself.â you say, giving your sister a quick glance, her gaze glued to the tile floor of the kitchen.Â
âyou canât punish your daughter because she got into a fight, if you can even call it that. you need to let her understand that bullying isnât okay and if she needs to defend herself, then she should.â by the end of your speech your sisterâs face had turned a shade of red.Â
whenever your sister knew she was in the wrong, her face would gradually turn red. it was then that you knew that she understood what youâre saying so you didnât need to say more. âgo easy on her, sheâs so young and she just wants you to feel like youâre on her side. we were just like that when we were her age.â you say softly, putting the last of the clean dishes on the drying rack. you quickly dry your hands on a rag before walking over to your sister.Â
âokay?â you ask, looking into her eyes. âyes, ugh i hate when youâre right.â she says with a smile while pulling you in for another hug. âit happens more often than you think.â you say with a chuckle and she pushes you away in response. âthat was a good speech, itâs like momâs spirit transferred into you for a second.â your sister says. your mom was always the more tender and understanding one of your parents. although your dad wasnât necessarily strict or intense, his ways of showing affection were limited, and his way of raising you and your sister was focused on making sure you put in the effort to achieve your dreams through hard work.Â
âso what are you gonna do about the jake thing?â your sister asks, tiptoeing around the topic. ânothing. i havenât seen since i was like 22 and i have no plans of seeing him again.â you say with a shrug before you made your way to your room. the basement that your sister had renovated to be livable for you. a spacious open area that had enough so that you didnât feel like you were too crammed. it was like having a studio of your own.Â
what you were unaware of was that you would be seeing jake more often than you thought.Â
ââ
âŒâ
â
the next day, when youâre casually shopping for a bit of groceries to make dinner for your mom as she was visiting you two, you run into jake at the market. heâs in the ramen aisle, sifting through the various ramen flavors. he hadnât changed one bit, he still loved ramen.Â
you were about to turn around and leave when he glances at you, calling your name. you stop in your tracks like youâve been caught. âbye jake.â you quickly say, not even bothering to look back at him and just making your way to another section of the store. far, far away from the ramen aisle.Â
ââ
âŒâ
â
you next saw jake at a cafe. you had just finished your morning run, something you picked up in physical therapy when you were in recovery. it had helped a lot with your mobility and was some sort of therapy for you. once your body recovered enough, you picked up running every morning.Â
you had stopped by a coffee shop to grab a latte for you and your sister, and a hot chocolate for your niece when you almost crash into jake as youâre exiting. âwoah!â he says as he catches you, his hand softly landing around your waist as you grip the tray of drinks with both hands.Â
ây/n?â he asks and you just release yourself from his grip, jake throwing his arms up in defeat by your actions.Â
âbye jake.â you say and leave. jake awkwardly looks around, feeling like the whole coffee shop was staring at him and indeed they were. so he shyly smiles at everyone with an apologetic hand gesture to the patrons as he makes his way to the counter.Â
ââ
âŒâ
â
youâre on an evening run in the park when a dog runs up to you. stopping to kneel down and pet the cute dog, youâre unsure of where she came from or who her owner was. that was until a familiar australian accent calls for her, âlayla! i told you to stop running after people.â jake says, causing you to roll your eyes. you stand with your hands on your hips and lean to the side as you watch jake jog after his dog.Â
âcome here girl.â he says and layla runs back to him. jake was about to start a conversation with you but before he can say anything you return back to your run. âbye jake.â you say as your run passed him.Â
ââ
âŒâ
â
when you see jake for the 4th time in just a week, you snap at him. youâre dropping off your niece at school for her saturday disciplinary class and of course jake is there to drop off his nephew.Â
you rush back to your car when jake runs after you. ây/n, please!â he says, pleading that you would just talk to him. âwhat jake?! what could you possibly want?â you say, frantically throwing your arms up, irritation clearly running through your face.Â
âi just wanna talk⊠please?â he asks softly, a bit hurt at your reaction. he didnât think he had done anything wrong and he fully wasnât sure why you were so angry or hostile towards him. you close your eyes to calm down a bit before you answer him, âfine.â you say calmly. a smile crawls onto jakeâs face, ecstatic that you finally agreed to speak with him. you exchange numbers and jake texts you the address with a heart emoji. âcut it out.â you say bluntly and jake obliges. âok, sorry. please drive safe.â he says, almost hinting at your accident years ago. a wound you werenât ready to open up with jake.Â
you didnât notice, however, that when jake gave you his number to put in yours, he didnât ask for yours. jake, although you havenât been together for sometime, still kept your number in his phone saved under ây/nâ with a pink heart and ring emoji. he hadnât even changed your contact photo. it was a picture of you at the beach. it was his favorite photo of you and his favorite memory.Â
ââ
âŒâ
â
you had arrived at the cafe, âcafe chaconneâ in cursive written above the glass doors. jake was patiently waiting for you at the entrance, eyes lighting up and lips widening into a smile when he spotted you exiting your car and walking towards him.Â
âmâlady.â jake says while opening the door with a curtsy. you narrow your eyes at him and he straightens up and clears his throat. âsorry.â he mumbles and watches you enter, not seeing the smile on your face. jake releases a big sigh and prepares himself for this moment he didnât realize he was waiting for.Â
the two of you quickly put in an order with the younger barista at the counter, jake fighting you on the bill and insisting to pay for your drink. a normal banter between the two of you when you were dating, a wave of deja vu hitting you as a short memory flashes in your mind.Â
ââ
âŒâ
â
âhi, can we get the bill please?â jake asks the waitress and she looks at jake with a confused expression. âsir your meal has been paid for already.â she kindly informs your boyfriend and now itâs jakeâs turn to return the confused expression. when jake is too confused to speak, the waitress walks away after saying her goodbyes.Â
jake is still confused but his face changes when his eyes land on you. a shit-eating grin on your face as you smile at jakeâs reaction. he soon realizes youâre the one who covered the bill and had beaten him to it.Â
âwhy do you always fight me on the bill?â jake says with a pout and you just shrug and stick youâre tongue out at him.Â
âyouâre just my little princess.â you say and blow a kiss his way. jake at first rolls his eyes but pretends to catch the kiss and places it inside of his jacket.Â
ââ
âŒâ
â
ây/n? you alright?â jake says, knocking you out of your thoughts as you realize youâve just been standing absentmindedly in the middle of the cafe. the two of you walk to a small table just big enough for the two of you and the silence is a bit awkward.Â
âyou brought me here, so what do you want?â you say, your tone is a bit more sharp than you intended but you could tell jake wasnât phased as it seemed like he was glad you broke the silence. âright!â jake says, almost jumping out of his seat at the sound of your voice. he clears his throat before speaking.Â
âsooo⊠how are you?â jake asks, testing the waters, unsure of how to start the conversation; trying to tiptoe around the touchy subject and tension between the two of you. âis that really what you wanted to ask me?â you respond and before jake can reply, the barista brings the two of you your drinks. you both thank her and as you take a sip of your hot chocolate, âi miss you y/n.â jake says, causing you to choke on your drink and jakeâs eyes widen at your reaction.Â
âsorry, the drink is really hot.â you say trying to play it off so it didnât hurt his feelings and jake gives you a small tight-lipped smile. he knows that his statement was abrupt and by your reaction it definitely caught you off guard but he took no offense to it all. deciding that just getting it out of the way would be the best even if you didnât reciprocate his feelings. those four words were something that had been eating at him since the last time he saw you and he had no way of telling you until now.Â
âum, jake. i donât know what to say-â you respond but jake softly puts his hand over yours. letting you know that you didnât have to feel the same way but that he just wanted to you know that. âitâs alright. just know that iâve never stopped thinking about you.â jake says and you close your eyes. trying to hold yourself together, surprised that this was making you more emotional than you thought it would, unsure of what to say or feel.Â
âplease, tell me about you. howâve you been? i wanna know everything.â jake says and you slowly fill him in on your life. only the parts that you were willing to share, omitting all of the traumatic things that happened during your healing journey and focusing on the brighter side but jake brings up the accident and at first you were reluctant but figured that jake deserved to know the full truth.Â
âafter the accident i was in a coma and after 8 months i somehow woke up. then my parents moved me to the states for better medical treatment. something about knowing a doctor there that specializes in physical therapy i donât even know but i wasnât necessarily in the position to question it.â you explain, jake nodding as he actively listened to you, a part of him wanting to hug and console you as you spoke after seeing tears well in your eyes. you had hoped that jake didnât notice so you wiped them away and kept talking. you explained how after the accident, you were in a coma for about 8 months and miraculously lived through it.Â
âi was in the states until just a few months ago. i actually fully healed last year but didnât decide to come back until recently.â you finish and jake is just nodding. at this point he was half listening and the other half was scanning your face. you were still as beautiful as jake remembered but he could tell some parts of you were different. you had a different aura to you and jake couldnât blame you. what you went through was tragic and traumatic and he couldnât imagine just how much pain and ache it caused you. he doesnât realize a small tear is rolling down his cheek until you point it out.
âjake are you crying?â you ask and he snaps out of his thoughts. this time it was his turn to wipe the tears from his eyes and act like they werenât there. âiâm really sorry you went through all of that, y/n.â jake says and you could tell he was being genuine. you mutter a small thank you before taking a sip of your drink. confusion brewing inside of you as you begin to feel things you havenât felt in a long time. feelings that you only ever felt with jake.Â
âi had amnesia for a while. if iâm being honest i canât even remember what it was like because the more i remembered old memories and made new ones, it filtered out me not remembering anything at all.â you explained, half unsure if what you said even makes sense but due to jakeâs nod you assumed that it did. âi donât even remember the night i got into the accident-â you begin to say.Â
âiâm really sorry!â jake says abruptly, interrupting you just as you were about to finish what you were saying. it was like he needed to get his apology out of his system despite having just apologized a few moments ago. like this apology was for something specific rather than a general condolscenes. âyou donât have to be sorry jake. itâs not your fault.â you say, comforting him because clearly he was feeling a strong bowt of emotion from hearing what happened to you.Â
âbut you should feel sorry for never reaching out to meâŠâ you say quietly but to jake it was loud and clear. âwhy did you come see me⊠at all?â you ask, this was a question that had been weighing on you for sometime. when your memories of jake came back, that was one of the first things you thought of, but ever since that day you had never received an answer. maybe now you would.Â
jake opens his mouth to say something but stops himself. like he was thinking of the correct thing to say but nothing leaves his lips besides another apology. jake drops his head, embarrassed at his weakness and for not telling you what you needed to hear. you were so tired of hearing sorries and apologies. none of that was going to bring you back together and no apology was going to fix the irrepairable damage that night did to you. but you couldnât blame jake for that, youâd never blame jake for what happened that night.Â
you sigh as you stand up, jakeâs eyes following you as you sling your bag over your shoulder and fix your coat. âthanks for the drink jake. iâll see you around, i guess.â you say and before jake can even respond or react, youâre walking away from and out the door. âgod, iâm so stupid.â jake says as he once again drops his head in embarrassment.Â
ââ
âŒâ
â
you werenât sure where you were going but you soon found yourself walking along han river. the weather was fairly chilly but your coat provided enough warmth that allowed you to enjoy the air without feeling cold. you find an open spot on the grassy fields that ran alongside han river, the field was filled with families and couples on picnic blankets enjoying food and drinks and the company of their loved ones.Â
ââ
âŒâ
â
âi could totally fall asleep here.â you say as you lay down on the blanket that jake had laid out on the grass. the two of you were on a date at han river for your birthday, the weather was perfect for a picnic so he had planned the whole thing, all you needed to do was show up.Â
âyeah? you wanna take a nap? we totally can!â jake says, encouraging your idea but you laugh it off. wanting to enjoy the day that jake had planned for you as you watched him unpack a basket, laying out all of your favorite food and snacks onto the blanket.
ââ
âŒâ
â
youâre sat on the plush grass when your eyes start to feel heavy, slowly sliding down onto your back and carefully placing your head onto your arm as a makeshift pillow; drifting off to sleep in the middle of the field with the soothing sounds of han river like a lullaby. the cold night wind whips past your sleeping figure and the cold chill wakes you from your slumber. blinking your eyes a few times, your gaze lands on the stars that are shining in the dark sky and you soon realize that you had been sleeping in the middle of the park.
no other soul was present and although you were a bit fearful that you were alone in the dark at night, your fears were easily brushed away knowing that there wasnât anyone that could harm you. you pull yourself off the ground and dust your clothes off before heading to your car and back home.Â
the drive back to your sisterâs house wasnât long but the sleepiness was holding onto you as you drove, fighting off the heaviness in your eyes by blinking rapidly and turning up the music from the radio. thankfully, you werenât asleep for too long and still had enough time in the night to freshen up before bed, thankful that you didnât ruin your sleep.Â
pulling into the driveway, you see an unfamiliar car parked in front of the garage, however, you know youâve seen it somewhere but due to your sleepy nature it was a bit hard to wrap your brain around where you had seen the car before. you trudged towards the front door after parking your car and just as youâre pushing the door open, you hear your sister arguing with someone in the dining room. you instantly run over to see what all the commotion was and find your sister facing a man whose back is facing you.Â
he slowly turns around after hearing your footsteps and it turns out to be jake. thatâs where you knew where the car is from, you saw his car at your nieceâs school, you saw his car at the store, and at the cafe.Â
âwhat the fuck is going on?â you ask, irritation in your voice as you look at your sister and jake. why the hell was jake in your sisterâs house and why were they arguing?
âtell her, joyâŠâ jake says slowly, averting his gaze to your sister and onto the floor when your sister doesnât immediately oblige. âyn, lookâŠâ she says, approaching and you canât help but feel nervous as she steps closer to you. joy holds your hands in hers. ây/n⊠listen to me, ok?â she begins and you canât help but grow more anxious the longer she stretches out what sheâs going to say to you.
âwhen you got into the accident-â she continues but jake cuts her off. âit was my fault.â he abruptly says and your eyes slightly twitch at his confession. âwhatâs your fault..?â you ask, unsure if you want to know the answer to your question. âthe accident⊠it happened because of me, ok?â jake confesses and youâre struggling to understand what he could even mean by that.
how could jake be responsible for your accident and you not know a single thing about itâŠ
you force them to continue and to not leave out any details.Â
âthe night of the accident, before you got into your car in the rain and crashed⊠we got into a fight. it all happened so fast but you stormed out of our apartment and drove off before i could even stop youâŠâ jake recalls and your brain starts to swell as youâre gaining all this new information about the traumatic time in your life.Â
âjake ran to the hospital as fast he could when i called him-â joy begins to say but you interrupt her. âwait⊠you were the cause of my accident and you didnât try to reach out⊠not once?â you ask jake, confusion turning into anger as more questions brew inside of your head. âyou knew⊠this whole time? since it happened and up until now? you even tried to find your way back into my life and you knew this whole time and witheld this information from me?â you scoff, absolute shock in your voice at the audacity of jake and quite frankly also your sister.Â
ây/n, please. mom and dad didnât let him see you. they refused⊠they didnât want him anywhere near you after he explained to them what happened.â your sister further explains but it doesnât fix anything.Â
jake let you leave that night and didnât even fight to get you back. you left that night but he was the one who abandoned you.Â
âyouâre both despicable!â you shout, cheeks burning red and veins purtruding on your forehead and neck. âi donât care what mom and dad think, you, BOTH of you, shouldâve never hid this from meâŠâ you say with more anger and as you take a step closer, a wave of nausea washes over you; causing you to stumble.Â
your body suddenly feels heavy at your feet but your head is light. in a motion to grab your temble, your legs suddenly give out from underneath you and you start to fall; luckily, jake was fast enough to catch you.Â
ââ
âŒâ
â
âbaby, they hate me! you know this, you can see the way they treat me!â jake says. the two of you were having your monthly argument about your parents and how theyâve never liked him. jake was a good guy, he was ambitious, smart, caring, and loving. everything you wanted and admired about him but your parents only saw the lack of digits in his bank account.Â
jake wasnât well off but he took care of himself and his family back home. your parents never approved of your relationship and when he tried to get their blessing for your hand in marriage, they threw a fit. going as far as to ruin the surprise for you and tell you that youâre forbidden to wed jake and that theyâd never approve of it.Â
which only caused you to question their thinking as you knew nothing about wedding, leading to jakeâs proposal being spoiled but him not wanting to explain to you the full scope of the issue.Â
jake wanted your parents blessing for your hand in marriage but they wouldnât allow it; jake however, had too much pride in himself to face you and ask you to make a decision. either spend the rest of your life with him or choose the path your parents want for you if it meant he would no longer be in the picture. or was he afraid..?Â
afraid that if he was to ask you this question, there wouldnât be any doubt or second thought in your mind to leave him because your parents said so.Â
thatâs where you were now, you were trying to get jake to talk to you about why he all of a sudden was so upset over an ordeal with your parents you barely even knew about, but he was too stubborn and would tiptoe around what he really wants to say⊠until it came out of his mouth in the worst way possible.Â
âfine! whatever, if you want to be your parentâs little robot for the rest of your life rather than to be happy, then go right ahead. be my guest!â jake says, throwing his hands in the air in frustration and betrayal even if you hadnât even made any decision yet and had no clue where any of this was coming from. you were, however, hurt. hurt that jake would say something like this to you knowing your history with your parents.
âis that how you really feel?â you ask, your voice low as you bite your bottom lip in an attempt to fight off tears. jake doesnât respond, not because he has nothing to say, but because heâs afraid that heâll say the wrong thing.Â
but you take his silence as a yes. resulting in you storming out of your apartment with jake and to your car, waiting to cry until you get inside the car and drive off. you werenât sure where you were going but the tears obstructing your vision wasnât helping the fact that it was suddenly raining an intense amount compared to just moments ago.Â
you didnât even have enough time to react before a bright light quickly approaches your vision paired with rapid honking and your memory goes black.Â
ââ
âŒâ
â
as you make impact with the car in your dream, youâre jolted awake with a gasp. youâre laying on the couch while joy and jake are intently watching you from across the couch. they both jump to your side when you wake up, asking if youâre okay, and although youâre still quite upst at them, you choose to accept their acts of care and comfort because you know they truly do care for you.Â
âiâm fine⊠i just had a really intense dream.â you say as you continue to explain what happened. as you unravel the emotional events of your dream, jake explains to you that it wasnât a dream and that was what happened the night you got into an accident. swallowing the dryness in your throat, you ask jake if he can give you and your sister a moment.Â
he slowly glances between the two of you before heading off somewhere, âyou can wait in my room, jake.â you say and you watch him head down the stairs to where your bedroom is in the basement.Â
âwhat⊠is happening..?â you ask and she looks at you like youâre a wounded bird. your sister sighs before she unloads everything onto you, explaining the events of your accident up until your recovery, filling in the missing pieces of your mind.Â
she explains that your parents never liked jake and with him being the cause of the accident, your parents double downed and refused to let him see you. using that as a reason to fuel their hatred for jake, the accident acting as a mask to hide their real reason for their distaste of jake; because he didnât come from a rich family like you.
the news weighed heavy on your heart, not knowing the sorrow that jake was going through while you were also going through something traumatic. you wished jake was there by your side because it wouldâve made everything so much easier. having jake by your side always made things easier for youâŠ
you quickly thanked your sister and gave her a hug before going to find jake in your room. walking down the short stairs felt like eternity as you think about everything that happened. you held so much hatred for jake because he wasnât there for you but it wasnât even his fault. you find jake standing by your bed, holding a photo in his hands, âhi, jake.â you say, slightly startling him.Â
ây/n!! sorry, i didnât mean to snoop.â he says before setting down the photo where it originally was. it was a photo of you on your birthday, a photo that jake took.âits okay⊠um.â you begin to say, unsure of what you even want to say to him. âwait⊠let me go first.â jake says and he takes your silence as a yes before continuing.Â
âi know that you probably hate me for keeping this from you, but please donât hate your sister. she was only doing what your parents asked. it was my fault you ran out and drove in the rain that night. iâm sorry for causing you so much hurt and pain and im so sorry for not taking responsibility for it. i wish i could go back to that night and stop you from leaving. i really fucking wish i tried harderâŠâ jake says, biting back tears.Â
walking over to jake and gently taking his hands in yours while placing another on his cheek; you wipe away a single tear that had broke loose from his lashes. âitâs not your fault jake. please donât blame yourselfâŠâ you say but he disagrees. explaining that none of this wouldâve happened if he just chose not to fight or if he stopped you from leaving. âjake, there was no way any of us couldâve known that i would get into an accident that nightâŠâ you continue. âthe only thing i care about is that iâm alive⊠and got to see you again.â jakeâs eyes met yours when he heard your confession. a sliver of hope brewing inside of him as he believes this could lead to what heâs been wanting to go back to for years.Â
âbut jake⊠why did you let my parents stop you? couldnât you have visited when they were there? or tried to see me?â you ask and jakes eyes melt at your question. ây/n, i did. i wrote you a letter everyday and whenever i tried to visit you, security that your parents hired stopped meâŠâ he explains and your heart breaks even more at the idea that your parents hated him so much they wouldnât even let you see him, going as far as to hire a security guard to stop jake.Â
you endlessly apologize to jake, tears now running down your eyes as you wrap your arms around him, crying into his chest as he softly rubs your back. âdonât apologize, my love.â he says and your heart instantly flutters at the petname. âcan we start over?â you ask, looking up at him and a smile spreads across his face. itâs kind of like you already had a do over a life anyways after waking up from your coma so whatâs the difference with starting over with jake. âof course, my love.â he says and you hug one another tightly; not wanting to let go.Â
jake eventually goes home even though you begged him to say. the only reason you let him leave was because he said he promised to watch a movie with his nephew but he promised to come back tomorrow to take you on your âsecond first dateâ. you smiled at his words as you walk him to his car. âthank you for giving me another chance.â jake says. you lean up to give him a kiss on the cheek, âthank you for not giving up on me.â you say before turning on your heel and walking back inside, not seeing jakeâs cheeks turn a bright red from your small kiss.Â
ââ
âŒâ
â
the next morning, you woke up with a smile on your face as you prepared for your date with jake. after getting ready and putting on a dress in jakeâs favorite color, you head upstairs to find your sister in the living room with a box. sheâs rummaging inside of it and when she notices your presence, her eyes light up.Â
ây/n!â she says, waving you over to come closer. âthese are all the letters that jake wrote you when you were in the coma.â she says and your mouth falls slightly open, âi would steal them before mom or dad found it and kept them. i forgot about them until last night.â she says andyou just give her a tight hug. in this box were hundreds of letters and jakes days without you. as you began to read them, you found yourself laughing and crying. some letters were emotional with jake writing about the pain of being away from you and not being able to apologize or even get to apologize.
other letters were short and lighthearted where jake would just write about his day and what he ate. often it would just be ramen, his favorite.Â
you were crying as you read each letter and before you knew it, jake was texting you to say that he was outside; ready to pick you up for your date.Â
as you walked outside, trying to hide that you were previously crying, jake gives you a small kiss on the cheek, âhey⊠have you been crying?â he asks and you reassure him that youâre okay. âokay, love. ready for our second first date?â he asks and you nod eagerly, a smile on your face that he hasnât seen in years and a smile that you havenât genuinely shown in just as long, maybe even longer. you didnât know that you could ever feel so happy or feel loved again like before the accident, but getting back together with jake helped you put together your memories again, it was like everything came together like a scrapbook. torn and ripped pages, dried out flowers, and memories that apart donât mean a lot but when put together, everything makes sense⊠and with jake by your side; you were finally together again.

---------------------------------------------------------
Samâs foot slams down on the break and her head whips over to look at me. My eyes averting to the window, trying to avoid hers. âDid you seriously just say that?â Sam scoffs, looking at me expectantly. âYes.â I give a curt nod, crossing my arms.
âYouâre seriously starting a fight over this? Real mature.â Sam rolls her eyes, before turning her attention back to pulling out of the parking lot. âAre you kidding me Sam? I voiced my opinion on how I felt about Danny. If you canât have an adult conversation about feelings, pull over.â I huff, biting my cheek to hold back.
âYouâre getting jealous over our neighbor and Iâm the bad guy?â Sam letâs out a humorless chuckle. âWith the way you feed into his flirting,â I seethe, reaching to unbuckle my seatbelt but my wrist is caught by Sam before I could.
âI do not feed into his flirting! He doesnât even flirt with me!â Sam rolls her eyes again, adjusting her hold on my wrist into holding my hand. âHe does! And I donât wanna sit here and keep arguing about it if you arenât going to actually hear me.â My hand attempts to slip away from Samâs but she keeps her hold tight.
Sam pulls the car over on the side of the road, putting it in park before turning her attention to me. Her hand reaches over and gently turns my chin to look at her. She takes a deep breath, collecting her words as her deep brown eyes stare into mine, calculating how to react in a productive way. She lets out a breath before speaking as softly and lovingly as possible.
âIâm sorry if you feel like I wasnât listening to you. I didnât mean to make you feel that way. I just could never see Danny in that way, and it was just starting to frustrate me that I havenât made you feel secure enough to trust that.â Sam explains, softly caressing my cheek. âI love you, so much. I promise nothing is gonna happen between me and Danny. Nor has anything ever happened between us. And whatever you need me to do to help you feel secure in that, Iâll do it, no hesistation.â Sam whispers, kissing my cheek delicately. Her thumb softly rubbing along my cheekbone.
My bottom lip trembles a bit and I unbuckle my seatbelt so I can lean over and hug her easier. She wraps her arms around me the best she can with the middle console between us. My face tucked into the crook her neck. âIâm sorry for arguing, Sammy. I love you too.â My words muffled as I press my face into the soft cloth of her hoodie. She lets out a light chuckle, kissing the crown of my forehead, and softly rubbing circles on the small of my back.
âAre we okay?â She whispers. I nod, giving her neck a small kiss before pulling away. I reach up and caress her cheek. âI hate when we argue.â I mumble, leaning up to kiss her. She kisses back before she gently pushes me back into my seat, her arm reaching around me to grab my seatbelt and buckle me back in.
âI feel like I need to leash you. Youâre a flight risk.â Sam lightheartedly teases, moving back into position so she can drive. âIf you leash me, Iâll be even more tempted to run, just so you have to chase me.â I joke, poking her bicep.
âA new way for me to get my cardio in,â Sam plays along, a subtle grin poking the corner of her lips. Her eyes focusing on the road as she begins driving again. âYeah? And what if I drop to the floor and refuse to move?â I hypothesize, a cheeky grin on my face.
âYou know I have no problem with carrying you,â Sam jests, entertwining her free hand with mine. âYeah and that definitely wonât look strange to a passersby,â I tease, lifting our hands so I can kiss the back of Samâs.
âI wouldnât be too concerned with them,â Sam says, a subtle smirk lifting her lips. âOh yeah? And whyâs that?â I ask, playing with the fingers of her free hand as she drives. âIâd be too busy thinking about your punishment for being a brat in public,â Sam smirks, her hand slipping from mine to caress my upper thigh, her cold rings causing a pleasurable shiver to run straight to my core.
âWhat kind of punishment?â I ask, biting my lower lip as the prurient actions of her hand run higher up my thigh. Her fingers tease up and under my skirt, her hand moving to cup my core over my panties, fingers running over the dampened fabric, rolling around my clit, leaving me with a desperate desire in my lower half.
âThinking about you bent over my lap, and me, spanking your pretty little ass red.â Sam licks her lips, her dark eyes focused on the road as she drives. I squirm in my seat, her amorous words making my desire grow tenfold. The drive had begun to feel like hours despite only being minutes. Her words creating an image in my mind that I wanted desperately to recreate.
âYou like that idea, huh, pretty girl?â Sam teases, her hand slipping under my panties, her finger swiping through my folds feeling the surplus of wetness. âMhm~,â I let out a soft moan at her actions, my hips bucking towards her hand but before I can even hope for more, her hand is crudely swiped away. My eyes dart over to her, watching as her finger slips between her lips, tongue swirling around her digit, licking it clean as she hums at the taste. Her eyes momentarily closing before glancing at me with a dark look that I knew well.
âGod, I canât wait to get you home, honey.â Samâs hand moves back to grab my thigh and give it a light squeeze. âDrive faster,â I mumble, flustered by the older woman. My cheeks a shade of red and my thighs clenching together.
âYou donât get to make demands, baby,â Sam smirks, her fingers teasing up and down my thigh. The torturous teasing continued as Sam drove us back home. When she finally parked the car, I was quick to remove my seatbelt and get out of the car.
âSomeoneâs eager,â Sam teases, slapping my ass I walk passed her to go into the lobby of the apartment building. âYou canât tease me and expect me not to dart off,â I call to her, glancing back with a mischievous smirk. I giggle as I walk faster to the elevator. âLike I said, flight risk.â Sam calls back with a grin, easily catching up with longer strides. When she gets in the elevator with me, she presses the button for our floor, waiting until the doors closed to strike. When we start to descend up, Sam pins me against the cool metal of the wall, one hand on my hip, the other resting beside my head. âMaybe the leash could still be in play here,â Sam teases. I blush as I reach up to tug her collar down for a kiss. It starts out slow but quickly heats into something much more passionate. Sadly being interrupted by the ding of the elevator doors opening.
âCome on,â Sam whispers, grabbing my hand in hers to guide us down the hallway to our apartment. I kissed along her shoulder as she unlocked the front door, âYou canât wait, can you?â Sam teases, giving a light teasing pinch to my behind as I walk through the door. I give a small yelp at the pinch, playfully smacking her hand as I turn around. âAdmit it, you canât either.â I muse, watching as she locks the door back up before she turns to me.
âOh, baby, I never said I could.â Sam smirks, coming closer and wrapping her arms around my waist. She taps my thighs, signally me to jump. I comply and Sam easily lifts me. My legs wrapping around her waist, arms around the back of her neck as her hands rest on my ass. I playfully raise an eyebrow at her hand placement. Sam catches the look and lets out a small huff of laughter, âCanât blame me, that skirt does things to me.â
I playfully roll my eyes at her words, kiss her cheek sweetly. âCarry me to bed already,â I tease, âThen I can do other things to you in this skirt.â Sam laughs and gives my ass a small squeeze before starting to make carry me to our bedroom. The rest of the night filled with Sam proving me to that I had absolutely no reason to be jealous over some dude.

I can't help but send another ask - or, well, this falls more under headcanon territory - your insights into Gale are always so poignant and immensely entertaining!
Can't remember exactly where in Act 1, but at some point Gale mentions that during his isolation he warded his townhouse tower against visitors for their own safety. Now, it's easy to take that at face value and assume he meant standard boring ol' protection spells, but we've all seen his resurrection protocol.
Which led me to ponder the following: what do you imagine the ratio of "practical wards meant to harmlessly deter visitors" to "elaborate booby traps that put Home Alone to shame" is? Does he remember where they all are, or after returning to Waterdeep are there a lot of "ah, must have missed that one" moments while rescuing poor Tav from yet another trap they set off by accident? Is Tara part of the security system?
I just feel your thoughts on the matter would be positively delightful to read
Can I just say, I would legitimately pay a ridiculous amount of money to see a Gale / Home Alone crossover movie.
Ridiculous. Amount.
But since we will never be blessed with that, letâs chat about it here!
You are absolutely correct that Gale talks about warding his tower during his confinement! He mentions it during his conversation with Tav at the tiefling party, if you question him about being lonely during his confinement:
Now, for your ask:
The ratio of âpractical wardsâ to going full âHome Alone: Lost in Waterdeepâ? I think itâd be 50% straight up barriers and 50% goofy booby trapsâŠand honestly, I donât think that the goofy booby traps are just a Gale thing. I think itâs a wizardly pride thing. Remember that wizard tower in the Underdark?! That guy had turrets with laser beams, an enchanted ass elevator, and a robot that needed a hug but would also kill you. Lorroakan had Ramazithâs tower set up with false portals, guards, puzzles that can disintegrate you and again, every wizardâs favorite, those damned laser beams.
I think Galeâs barriers and wards would be straightforward spells. His traps, though, I feel would be 190% more creative. And 190% more GALE, as every single trap would involve our favorite mirror image Gale popping up to say hello!
I think the barriers/wards would do fine for deterring most visitorsâGale did say heâd set up enough âto keep a small army at bayââbut in the event of a more persistent guest, Mirror Gale would politely provide ample (and increasingly passive-aggressive) warnings to try and persuade any visitors away:
âHello there! You seem rather determined to make your presence known! Rest assured your visit has been noted; however, i must ask that you turn back from here. Have a lovely evening!â
âGreetings! You know, I would have thought it was quite obvious by the myriad barriers youâve had to traverse that company is unwelcome, yet here you are! A more intelligent visitor would have likely given up by now, but it seems common sense wonât stop you, will it? No no, heaven forbid.â
âYou donât quite seem to be getting the hint. Tell me, are you often this belligerent and clueless? I shall make note not to invite you to any parties once my Tower is open to visitors once more.â
âHello again! Ha-ha, ahhâŠ.are you quite sure you wish to proceed? I must warn you that I have been, ah, instructed to incinerate you if you go any further! Ah-ha, no hard feelings of course!â
Do I think Tara would be part of the security system? Thatâs a tough one, because while Tara CAN AND WILL cast a fireball with excellent accuracy when needed (as shown by the rooftop meeting if it goes sour), I think she wouldâve been unable to commit to security duties due to having to go find magical Gale DinnerÂ©ïž trinkets for his consumption.
Finally, I would assume that Gale would take extra special care to ensure that all traps/wards have been deactivated when he brings his beloved Tav homeâhowever, I could see there mayyybee being one or two missed. In which case, a quiet afternoon of Tav exploring their new home might suddenly be disrupted by a glowing Gale appearing and proclaiming, âHello! Ah! Wellâthis is rather awkward, isnât it? Despite ALL prior warnings, you have now breached my inner sanctum and sadly, must be punished for it. I shall now commence following you and reading a selection of Elminsterâs teachings on the history of conjuration spells, which is sure to bore you so completely that you will long for deathââ
#Thanks for the ask!#And please Netflix or Hulu do a Gale / Home Alone crossover Iâm BEGGING#gale dekarios#baldur's gate 3#bg3#gale of waterdeep#answered ask
