Fic Summary:

With Sozin’s Comet fast approaching, it is essential that the Avatar learn firebending. The problem is, he’s not. In the three weeks since Zuko started teaching him, he’s accomplished the bare minimum and it’s not enough. Which means the Avatar needs a better teacher.

i may or may not be planning a fic where one of the many subplots is that Jason (as Red Hood, but Danny already knows) is following/investigating Danny because he thinks Danny’s dangerous somehow. I won’t go into the details because it’s so much, but point is i have a silly little scene in my head wherein Danny goes out to work on a uni group project with Tim, and on their way to the cafe some asshole car hits a guy on a motorcycle. The Biker goes into a rage and starts cursing him out, takes off his helmet and lo and behold it’s Jason.

Mid-verbal fight with the asshole he catches sight of Tim (recording the whole thing and waving at Jason) and of Danny (potential danger he’s been investigating for nearly two weeks), and Jason gives the asshole a “this isn’t over” threat and dips. Then,

Tim, who noticed Danny’s reaction: You know that guy?

Danny: Oh, yeah, that’s my stalker. You?

Tim: Nemesis. I’m sorry he’s your what?

Bonus:

Tim texting Jason: are you stalking my classmate??

Jason: Mind your own business, Replacement.

Jason: Wait, did he tell you that?

Tim: yah

Jason: RH’s been investigating him. Why the FUCK does your “classmate” think it’s me?

Tim: dick is gonna love this. the great rh has a containment breach

The Unlearning of Fear (And the Acceptance of Love) Chapter 3

Fic Summary:

With the war over, it’s now time to figure out what happens next. Fire Lord Iroh rules as Princess Azula’s regent, Katara and Sokka want to help Chief Hakoda rebuild the Southern Water Tribes, King Bumi of Omashu really wants Toph to work with him, and Avatar Aang just wants the chance to spend time with his friends again (and maybe to figure out how to revive his people when he’s the last one). All of them are free to choose what they wish moving forward – but Zuko surrendered his Name and his Destiny to become the Blue Spirit. He is tied to the spirit’s quest for vengeful justice.

Only he can’t quite figure out what his dreams of an airbender somewhere in the Western Ocean have to do with being a spirit.

Chapter Summary:

Post-war negotiations continue, much to everyone's annoyance, and a new dimension of the Blue Spirit is discovered.

Been thinking a lot about my Frankly-Dear kiddo! I’m still not sure about their name. Originally it was Freddy, but I ain’t sure that really fits…maybe Fern, Andy, or Joey? Anyway, here’s some fun facts about them!

- When they were itty bitty they wanted to be a mail carrier just like their papa! They’d still be happy to take up that mantel, but Eddie and Frank encouraged them to follow their own dream of being a park ranger.

- They have an accent similar to Eddie and use many southernisms when they talk.

- Frank would take them on bug catching trips, and it was these adventures that inspired their love of nature and animals.

- They learned how to talk to flowers from their Auntie Julie, but it’s not clear if they can actually hear what the flowers say back.

- They always carry a first aid kit and stress the importance of safety when exploring the great outdoors. That said, they don’t mind much if they personally get hurt, but they’ll do everything in their power to keep their adventuring buddies safe.

- If they had a toy set it would include walkie-talkies, a wildlife log book, binoculars, a compass, and a magnifying glass, all in green, pink, and orange hues.
