people on other platforms saying ttpd is the laziest album taylor has ever written/laziest album ever written in general is crazy to me and really loses the plot in terms of appreciation of art for me. one of the main things of ttpd is that its not edited down, its pure emotion and all of the emotion plain and ugly and not watered down as well as not over produced, it is written out of the need to write and continue to write until you bleed on the page until you can’t tell yourself apart from the ink. it’s raw and authentic, that doesn’t make it lazy and i’m soooooo tired of seeing this take

Am I the only Jikooker who's not excited for next episode ? I think antis got one thing right this time - the show is indeed so boring. CT was OK, jeju was typical run episode maknae line version while sapporo is just boring. Nothing intresting, no activities, no fun talks, nothing. Only boring talks between them because they have to do something for camera. I don't remember a single intresting moment happened in sapporo in the show itself let alone a 'jikook moment'. When Jikook spoke about this show, they said we were going to see them being their truest and most authentic selves so they are not acting a script here. They took the trip for themselves and to leave something for fans to watch while they are away. They are not putting any pressure on themselves to do more than what they normally do because the show is intended to show us them in their most authentic selves which is what we see.

Expecting Jimin and Jungkook to talk about more than they already talk about on a show which millions of fans watch is kinda unrealistic in my opinion because they wouldn’t go on a show to start discussing their private matters now would they? Would you expect them to sit there talking about all the investments they make, or the family visits, or how many times they cuddle or other much private stuff? Did you want to hear Jungkook tell Jimin how much he wanted to kiss him or hug him on a show anon? Did you expect to hear Jimin and Jungkook gossiping about the stuff their friends tell them on a show anon? What exactly did you want to hear them talk about? If you want more thrill and fun then go watch run BTS where they just do activities that have been prepared for them to do. AYS is meant to be a healing show showing us how Jimin and Jungkook are on vacation.

I am not fond of shippers like you because people like you don’t know how to differentiate between a ship and real life individuals. You may ship jikook yes but you shouldn’t forget that they are real people who donot live robotic lives. Do you think Jungkook carries Jimin in his arms everyday in private? Do you think Jimin and Jungkook always do fun stuff in private? Do you think they must be talking about something interesting to like being in each other’s company? If that is how you view Jikook then why do you even ship them because you must believe their relationship is shallow as hell because if two people always need to fill the silence with noise or try thinking of interesting things to talk about before they can tolerate being around each other then that is kinda……sad.

They enjoyed it so much that they want to do it till they are 50 so maybe you should take that up with Jikook themselves or better yet, do yourself a favor and stop watching.

i wonder if theyre going to implement an actual DUO magic in the story??? We have only seen that mechanic on gameplay battles, but never on the characters, the plot dont even mention if they can combine magic with one another (this is what i interpret DUO magic to be, just two mages combining magic bcs they're "buddies"/have high chemistry with each other)

it would be interesting to see DUO magic to be about combining two unique magic together though 😭🙏✨ Like I can perfectly see it with Malleus and Silver UMs (since these are the only UMs we know that is very specifically related with each other lol), them casting their unique magic together AAAAA IT WOULD BE SO COOL TO SEE IT IN THE MAIN STORY 😭🙏✨

i yap sm about Silver UM complimenting Malleus' , but i also hope Silver's UM can be used with Lilia's 🥺✨ Since we know that Far Cry Cradle is a "short lived UM" like how it only reveals a little portion of memories, I'm thinking maybe Silver's UM can ground it a bit better? Technically speaking, I feel like Lilia's UM is based on conciousness (like Malleus' UM), its just that his is based on reality (instead of imagination unlike with Malleus) and it feels like he's not fully asleep, I do think he still closes his eyes when he uses this though,

I wish we could know more about Lilia's UM actually, like can Far Cry Cradle be used with other people ? (That is, can he share the memory visions with another person or is this UM requires only Lilia to see it?) Plus the fact that it can see through the past rven when Lilia knows nothing about it is intriguing, its like Malleus' UM again where we know he doesnt know a person yet his Fae of Maleficence can still create their dreams without knowing them personally, but like its even more mysterious with Lilia as we know his UM is not used on people but on objects, do objects carry memory in TWST??? Aaaa I want to know more about the technicality with intangible UMs (of Malleus, Lilia, and Silver) 🥲✨

They go elaborate on physical UMs like with Sebek and Jack (like theres details of them turning to lightning/wolf form, how it feels, how it differentiates from transforming, etc) but not so much about imaginative UMs !!

a pet peeve of mine is when ppl/creators say asexual when they mean aroace, i know its expecting a lot of the average person but man i wish people would use the word aromantic more i cant help it

like i totally adore aro, ace, and aroace characters yes more please but i just wish people would use the correct terms cuz then people will ship these asexual characters romantically and people will get mad at them or (ive seen it more rarely but) people will write aromantic characters having sex and people will get mad at them like babes they are two different things! a person can be both absolutely but i, as an arospec person who is not asexual in any way and feel stupid amounts of sexual attraction, am here to tell you that you need to differentiate sometimes like ill give you a handy guide

Supernatural: Witch‘s Canyon

Posting everything in this book that i think you need to know, lets go!

Summary:

Okay, so, the boys head to the Grand Canyon to solve a case of a fourty-year murder cycle. The spirits of variouse humans and animals alike attack the locals and they need to find out why and how to stop it.

It is set somewhere in Season two.

My opinion:

This was so much fun. Like, it was really like watching an episode, just a lot longer and with the magic ability to see into Sam and Deans (and a bunch of other characters) heads.

It also gave a little bit of a fanfiction vibe, just with the addidtion that everything is cannon and that all the random little facts and quotes are a real thing (i‘ll list those in a second)

And also there were flashbacks of their childhood??? That made me cry??? I hated john winchester before, but now even more so. (More about the flashbacks below too)

So yea, it was definetly worth it and i cant wait to read the others!!

Flashbacks:

There are two flashbacks to Sam and Dean‘s Childhood:

- the first one is Dean Remembering a time when John made him and Sam run through an obstacle course at age twelve and eight. Dean had to shoot a gun during it, Sam just had to point and yell „Bang!“.

In the process of that Sam got injured and cried and John yelled at him to keep going and that he was doing poorly. Dean comforted his brother and encouraged him, leading to sam actually making it. Sam did it and Dean cheered, but john kept yelling at them to keep going to the next obstacle.

- the second one was from when Dean was fourteen and Sam was ten. Their Dad gave them backbags and said what was in them could last them fir four days and they all went on a hike together.

In the middle of nowhere john then saud that they should not trust anyone on what they are told and left them alone, telling them that they should find their way (at very least two days of walk) back themsleves and they shouldnt have relied on him so much and he just… left.

When they checked their backbags they found that most in it was useless and they were also filled with rocks to make it seem like it was more than it was.

Thats so fucked up, like

Those are children. And the worst part, when Dean rememvers this he thinks of it almost positively because it taught him a valuable lesson. I cant even begin to describe how my heart hurt for them.

Random facts:

Here are some facts from the book, i do t know anymor if those are mentioned in the show too, but it hardly matters, i think:

- Sam outgrew Dean at the age of 16

- Dean felt gutity over Jessicas death and thought that it was a „more solid basis“ of guilt than Sam had on the matter

- Sam can differentiate between uniforms of different wars in history just by a look

- Dean hates Rats. A lot.

Knowing and accepting both Deans, he guessed, was what being brothers was all about. Maybe I wouldnt want to be Dean, he thought, but i‘m sure glad I have him araound.

Both of the premises of Ouran and RFA are to appease people (Ouran is more female oriented tho). They both solely exist for the sake of providing happiness to others and stuff.

I think Jumin and Kyoya are quite similar. So I could totally see them discussing business plans with their fathers and shit like that haha then maybe Jumin could ask about Ouran Academy and what curriculars they have (for advertising?? idk lol) and then Kyoya mentions subtly about helping people in the Host Club.

So then maybe the Host Club decides to sponsor RFA and thus begins their journey 2gether!!!

I kinda suck at these types of things but the fun part is when the characters MEET TOGETHER!!!

Jumin and Kyoya as mentioned earlier are already cooperating with their respective businesses and stuff. I don't think either of them would open up or anything, but they're kind of similar in a way? Straight to the point, communicative in ideas and mostly likes to start new projects ehe >_<

Tamaki and ZEN would be a good duo as well, with Zen actually attracting more customers to the Host Club which makes Tamaki feel that their purpose is being successful!!! They would talk about entertaining people (and how grateful it makes them feel to keep their fans happy). They'd be blabbering about how beauty is important etc. etc.

i wanted to talk about my relationship with my sexual/romantic orientation (aspec), so i guess im sharing my expierence (cw i talk a lot about sex)

so im asexual, i dont think i feel sexual attraction at all. however i was looking into microlabels (i prefer only using the label asexual but i wanted to know if there was a microlabel that fitted my expierence better, even if i didnt planned on using them), i did not find one that fit me. i dont want to have sex. however i masturbate (when i ovulate/have a lot of pain, i have chronic pain and masturbation is a natural pain reliever, i actually found about that in tumblr from another asexual with chronic pain and it help me a lot when meds werent working), so i was thinking maybe i fit the aegosexual label, but from what i hear, in the "fantasies" you dont think about yourself doing it. i do picture myself doing it but not bc i want to? like, i picture myself having sex but in the """fantasy""" i dont enjoy said sex but i do it anyway. is that weird? i think its because i know i will never enjoy sex if i have it and i cant think of other people having sex bc it feels weird? intrusive? sexualizing them? it's about in-system relationships.

it's not something we have a lot of experience in. we're collectively aroace and don't nornally experience attraction.

inside the system appears to be an exception. we're not all aroace (although, according to my sp profile, i was aroace, so it's not always accurate) and some of us are maybe dating. we don’t actually know the feeling. we can't identify it, more like. so it's really hard for us to label it and actually differentiate romantic vs platonic vs the other types of attraction i don't remember right now.

but... i think i might have a crush on a headmate. she's really nice, and fun to be around, but she's always putting herself down when she doesn't deserve it. she really likes being cozy, for lack of a better term. she loves to cuddle up in bed with blankets and stuffed animals. she gets so enthusiastic about things she cares about. i've been watching her learn to sing. she keeps saying she's not that good yet, but i disagree. sure, she's not perfect, but she's doing a lot better than she tells herself. and i think her voice is pretty. she's usually not in the best mood--i guess that comes with the territory, given her roles. i want to comfort her and make her feel better. i don't like seeing her sad.

but i can't tell if this is actually romantic or if this is just platonic. we also likely have alexithymia, which doesnt help at all. and if it is romantic, i don't know what to do about it. for one, the way our system works makes it really hard to hide things from others. we're monoconscious and, when cofronting, it's less like two people working together to front, and more like two people merging together to front, save for their thoughts. we also don't have a headspace, due to... what's the word? the thing where you cant visualize anything. aphantasia. our memories are ass, but somehow we still can't do things in front to surprise another headmate, because our shitty memory is shared between everyone.

and if i did want to tell her, there's no telling how she'd react. she seemed receptive when she overheard my thoughts (seriously, is there a way to keep thoughts separate when cofronting? augh) but that doesn't say much. we're just starting to get close and i don't want to mess anything up with my stupid feelings.

Code Geass: Roze of the Recapture Episode 1 thoughts

Okay so like, although I wasn't big on Akito the Exiled or the creative choices made with the compilation films, I was actually really looking forwards to this one. Unlike most people, I genuinely don't mind them doing more with Code Geass. Like we have the og anime just there, its out and people can watch it (except they cant because r2 is jailed on crunchyroll auughhhhh). They even made it clear that the new Code Geass stuff from Akito onwards are in their own continuity. Genuinely I don't mind them just expanding more on their already established concepts, though I do have a preference for when they do newer things with them. So like, yeah. Roze of the Recapture is my favorite thing to come from this series in a good while.

So for those who don't know, Roze of the Recapture is a sequel not to the original series, but instead the compilation films that recapped the original series with minor changes to the events that took place in there. It also follows up on the corresponding movie that conveyed what happened afterwards, but basically all you need to know is that after Resurrection, we have a 5 year timeskip. There is a new cast of characters who so far don't tread over where the original cast stood, however they do pay homage and parallel some of the characters from the original series. Honestly, I think this is the only part that has me worried, as I'd love to see them play around more with new concepts. However I feel like after the end of the first episode, those concerns are pretty much quelled.

Okay so I'm not gonna skirt around the spoilers any further beyond this point.

Okay. I want to talk about that fucking twist??? Because like??????????? I did not fucking see that one coming but its such a fucking great way differentiate your protagonist from just being lelouch again while also playing with parallels. We effectively have somebody who's a figure of importance who is thought to be dead, however lives on to take revenge on Britannia as they have wronged this person. Key difference is that our character kinda strays away from this idea. I know a lot of people here are referring to Roze/Sakuya as our first female protag for a code geass anime and I'm sure thats probably what they're going for. However my brain just sees Sakuya being legally declared dead and then proceeding to taking the identity of not an entirely different girl, but rather this whimsical boy twink named Roze. Idk, kinda transmasc swag but also I absolutely love how we've all been played for fools prior to release. Like all the marketing had led us to believe this was going to be a story about two brothers doing shit but WOW did they have everybody fooled (including me). A shame that the trailers for the later movies kinda spoil this twist but I will fight to keep this a secret as much as possible from my friends until I get them to watch this.

Roze as a whole is a lot of fun as a character, big twist aside. I love how he feels a lot more like a trickster compared to Lelouch. Even though Lelouch had a bit of emphasis on him playing with people (the orange incident comes to mind), Roze steps that up with his geass. I'm so glad that its not just Lelouch's geass again. They do something fun with it, like conceptually after thinking about it for a while its actually crueler than Lelouch's geass. Theoretically Roze could force you into doing something without brainwashing you, you could do those things while being entirely conscious. If you say no? Then whatever you're told to do otherwise happens no matter what. I think thats just insane, it really opens the doors for so many things to be done with it in the same way that we saw Lelouch's geass being used to torment Suzaku.

Anyways I think its really funny how people are realizing this one has Ichiro Okouchi coming back to write for it not through the writing returning to its unsubtle "no shits given" attitude from the original series, but by them having yet another chess game that failed to understand the rules of chess. Its a tradition at this point.
