no matter the fandom, every time I decide to randomly check a tag sooner rather than later I arrive to a point where I find a grossly misogynistic comment that makes me back out and remember how much I love my curated space on my dash. it never fails!

Stop 2: Part 2: Saturday in Ocean City, MD
Saturday after Brent’s funeral had perfect weather. We loaded up the Jeeps and headed down to Assateague Island to drive on the beach. Brent loved staying on the West side of Ocean City. He’d always say, "There’s less riffraff out here.” It was true. The bars, restaurants and beaches had more of a local’s vibe and you wouldn’t get the shoobies and riffraff from the boardwalk. But he absolutely loved bringing the cars onto the OSV (Over Sand Vehicle) portion of the island to set up “camp” for the day. Assateague Island had also become my favorite beach over the years as well. This National Seashore is known for two things: 1. The beach that stretches from Maryland down into Virginia, and 2. The wild horses. That’s right. Wild horses graze, run, and walk all over your towels on the shore line. It’s really pretty and pretty annoying when you’re starving and all you want to do is eat your Wawa breakfast sandwich but can’t take it out until the horses move on. That happened to Brent and me last summer.
You see the horses all of the time. As you’re cruising on the winding drive through the wetlands to the beach they’ll be hanging out in the brush and on the shoulder. You may be unloading chairs from your vehicle in the parking lot and turn around to see one watching you. I’ve witnessed people not being able to get out of the bathroom because there are a couple of them hanging out by the door. It’s entertaining. Below is a still photo captured from a video of Brent’s. You might recall him telling you about this sight - He caught one of the horses cooling off in the bay one day when he was down with his buddy, Josh from Colorado. He was so proud of not only capturing but witnessing this moment.
Tumblr media
As I was packing stickers for the weekend down at the beach, in my head I was going through the spots that were necessary to tag. The two obvious ones were Teasers at Sunset Grille and Assateague. I did question at first how the hell I was going to tag a sticker for Brent at his favorite beach. But by Saturday morning, I already knew where I wanted to place it before we even left the house for the day. Just like I did, you’d probably think it would be difficult to get a sticker up at a National Seashore that wouldn’t be considered vandalism, harming the environment, etc. Remember, this isn’t a beach with surfaces, a boardwalk or trash bins. It’s a straight up beach. I recalled there being a pipe by the air machine as you leave the island. It had always been covered in stickers. We caravanned on over and I drove the Cream Puff (Jared’s Jeep) up to the entrance as Ryan and his family followed. While Jared worked on letting air out of the tires, I threw on Brent’s Thrasher snapback and walked over to the other side to scout out a spot on the pipe with Amy.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Obviously, “Dean-A-Palooza Big Dawgs Last Meal” had already occupied the best spot on the pipe. I couldn’t argue with that sticker so I found a spot about half way down. Let’s keep our fingers crossed that some shmoe doesn’t come by and cover it up like they did to the “Fat Daddy” sticker. I will definitely be back to all of these locations to check up on them regardless. Ain’t nobody gonna treat #LiveLiveBrent like a Fat Daddy.
We spent a couple of hours at the beach. As soon as we got there, a dragon fly would not leave us alone. It settled and landed on Amy’s leg. She looked at me and asked, “You know what dragonflies mean, right?” I told her no and that I noticed this one wanted to hang out with us for some reason. She said, “They’re a sign of loved ones that passed.” I had no idea. I mentioned in my last post that I’ve heard different stories and signs of how a loved one is near but yeah...dragonflies are a thing. It hung around a little while longer and I noticed it fly into the passenger window of Jared’s Jeep. It landed on his hat and sunglasses and remained there until we left the beach hours later.
Tumblr media
I spent some time alone out in the ocean that day. Tears were shed as I reflected and remembered spending hours out there with Brent in summers past. Floating. Chatting. Swimming in silence and taking it all in. But, on this day, the entire time I was out there, I felt completely and utterly calm. I’ve honestly felt this way for the last two weeks. I’m not sure why but I feel as if Brent has been giving me this sense of calmness and strength that I can’t quite explain. But then again, he always said I was one of the most even-keeled human beings he had ever met. He liked that about me but also would tell me it kept him guessing at times.
Jared was a couple of yards away in the ocean. I was so glad he came to the beach with us that day. Typically when we would go down to the beach houses, Brent and I would meet up with Kevin and Janelle who would also be down for several days at a time. We’d go out, get into a mess of shenanigans, always attend the annual Brewgrass Festival together and whatnot. But I had never had as much one-on-one time with Jared as I did this one weekend at the beach. I am so glad I did. He has such a positive and upbeat vibe to him. He made me laugh a lot that weekend. Brent adores his cousin. You know what? I do too.
Tumblr media
Just for fun - this picture above is from last summer down at the beach on Assateague. At this point last year he had already started his treatment but we always made sure to make the best of those off days. We lotioned the hell out of one another that day. Brent also wore all of his UPF sun protecting clothing that summer. He flippin’ LOVED gear. He had gear for the beach, snow, mountains...everything. I think it’s safe to say we all know that about him and that he always had some of the nicest clothing when it came to being outside...okay, inside too. This was also the day the horses were trotting up and down the beach and the water was so blue! I don’t think I need to explain why this has become a favorite beach of mine anymore.
Speaking of favorites...this brings us to our final destination in OCMD: Teasers at Sunset Grille.  Later Saturday night, Amy, Kevin, Jared and I headed over to “the horseshoe” which is a section of West Ocean City where several bars are located around the marina. Ps. If you want time away from the craziness of OCMD, definitely spend time over here. We stopped by Harborside for dinner and drinks. Harborside claims to be the home of the original fresh squeezed orange crush. Don’t know what an orange crush is? Pause right now, Google it, think, “That actually does sound really refreshing” and come back to continue reading. It’s a cocktail that is consumed regularly down in Ocean City. Anyway, this spot is almost always jamming and a good time with good tunes. We sweat straight through our clothes, slugged back some crushes and ordered some food. It was extremely humid that evening. It was so hot that Kevin had a Bud Light in hand. If you don’t know Kevin...he is THE beer connoisseur. He can probably talk about beer longer than a Phish set that includes "Tweezer” and not the reprise version half of you saw on the Baker’s Dozen Tour.  If a brewery has a can release, the average person will buy one or a couple but Kevin and Janelle walk out with seven...cases. Sorry I need to pause and just that Brent has some awesome cousins. So yes, it was Bud Light hot that night.
Every bar and restaurant on the marina has a wonderful view. As we sat there, we stepped out on the deck in hopes for a sunset and some fresh air. But we actually had quite the view of a gloomy storm starting to approach us.
Tumblr media
Before we got too comfortable watching the clouds roll in, we walked over to Teasers. Also, had Brent been sitting there with us he would’ve rattled off the type of clouds rolling in. I’m not sure if he did that with everyone. But there would be times we would be driving and I’d say something about the shapes of the clouds and I’d get a response, “WelI, those cool clouds are actually Cumulonimbus clouds, Aisling.” Those are definitely some of the things I will miss.
I honestly cannot recall a time where we went down to the beach and did not end up at Teasers at some point. I don’t think I can emphasize it enough - Brent loved everything about this place. The ambiance is just always on point.  It’s an open air bar with a floating outdoor band stage out on the marina. I’ve actually ended up booking bands for some of my events from seeing them live at Teasers first. This place was also always great for a sunset. If Brent could, he would have had our wedding there. Ha, but I think it’s safe to say that any structured venue wouldn’t have been big enough for us. I mean, come on...you stood in that line that night. He was and still is a very loved individual.
As we sat down at the bar, I was again unsure where we would be able to throw a sticker up. I figured at the very least I could put it under the bar so it wouldn’t be taken down. But it turns out that there are stickers slapped up in a couple locations inside. I asked the bar tender for 3 minutes of his time, explained why we were there and asked permission to put a sticker up. The bartender saw the manager (actually I believe it was the owner) and told him what I was doing. I got up and stuck one right on the side of the cash register. It’s in plain sight where anyone on the left side of the bar could see it. This specific location was certainly the most important one on the trip and I know right now Brent is proud that I was able to get one up there for him. Actually, I take that back. He’s probably critiquing and saying I should’ve covered that one side of the cash register. Sorry, Uncle B.
Tumblr media
As I was placing the sticker up, Jared got hold of the manager/owner. He told him where we were from, why we were there and why Teasers is such an important establishment to us. As I walked back to my seat on the other side of the bar Jared stopped me. The owner asked us to bring in a photo of Brent to be placed on the ceiling. I know that sounds awkward if you’ve never been to Teasers but inside of this dockside bar is a vaulted ceiling with different items on it. It’s like Billy Murphy’s Irish Saloon but...beachy fishing decor...in a sense. So the next time I’m down you bet a framed photo of Brent Patrick Evans will be hung in his favorite spot.
I’ve mentioned it before and I will mention it again, I am overwhelmed by the incredible support that I am oh so lucky to have. Thanks to Amy for being my personal photographer and beach bud for the weekend. As always, thank you to Brent’s family for such a special weekend down at their beach home.

HOLDING DOWN THE FART
It's been a long time since I posted.  Also, it's been a long time since we did anything notable!  Although the summer was long and too hot, we're enjoying Florida and seeing Shorty so much.  I embrace my laziness.  I signed up at CollecToons and Jigidi dot com.  We've been talking about Texas since June, but the date keeps getting moved.  I wanted to leave in the fall; Corny thought November.  We took a nice cruise in December and have Dr. appointments in January.  So far, the hope is to leave February 1, 2019.
We took the Jeep to Ferman's for a REAR differential leak; they replaced the FRONT axle on warranty...and left a drain hose unsecured so Corny had to change the fluid a couple months later.
End of July I took a solo trip in the Jeep to Wauseon, OH for an event.  On the way up I stopped in Frankfort, KY for some Interstate Challenge Finals.
Tumblr media
^I loved the little town of Frankfort, KY
I took my bike and tent for the three day event and stayed at the Fulton County Fairgrounds a few nights.  I rode my bike a lot, did a Poker Run, and traded a bunch of pathtags and stuff.  I’m ashamed to say I didn’t take any pictures.
After the event I headed east to add some new-to-me states to my geo-portfolio:  PA, NH, ME, VT, MA, RI, CT, NJ, WV and MD.  I did a six state streak in one day with MA, RI, CT, NY, NJ and PA.  I missed DE on this trip.  I couldn't remember why I had rushed home until I checked back on my eMails to Corny.  I was running out of pills.  Now I just need to geocache in DE and Alaska to make it all 50 states.

^PA State Game Lands 109: monarch on a milkweed.  This is my favorite of all the pictures I ever took.
I have always wanted to get Dolly a guinea pig.  This summer Dolly started having trouble making it down the RV steps.  She is 12 years old . I thought if not now, then when?    We got Piggie in August - just a tiny little thing!  I admit I love her more than Dolly does.  Piggie purrs when I pet her and since Shorty house-sat for us, she squeaks whenever we open the fridge door!  She looooves bananas and broccoli.

In September, Corny took a solo van trip allaway up to Vancouver!  He watched the filming of some "The Flash" and "SuperGirl" shows.  Here are some of his pictures:

Less than a week after Corny got home, I packed for a hotel trip to Ocala for Finder's Fest.  I hadn't registered because I didn't know if Corny would be back in time.  I just popped in for short periods between caches.  Man I got tired quick!  The weather went from summer hot to winter cool overnight - and what a difference it made.  I think I found 5-6 caches the first hot day, and like 25 the second day when it was 20 degrees cooler.  Again, I’m ashamed to say that I took no pictures.
In October, Shorty and I discovered how flooded Tarpon Springs can be when we tried to go to the Sponge Docks for lunch.  Hurricane Michael was passing by.
All three of us went to early voting.  I was listening to Trump's campaign rallies on YouTube every night - sometimes he did them twice a day toward the end.  After the midterms, he seemed to disappear.  I thought he was probably exhausted, but I sure missed seeing him.  Then I thought he must be depressed and hiding.  Finally I realized he was still the same; the media was ignoring him.  If you want to know what POTUS is up to, you have to check Twitter, Drudge and Politico.  I have no interest in who is running in 2020.  I already know who I'm voting for.
Shorty was off work on Thanksgiving so we celebrated at the RV.  I did a turkey breast in the Crock-Pot.  I made real mashed potatoes, dressing, green bean casserole with lots of real onions, root-beer carrots and pumpkin pie.  By the time it was over, I had to take a nap.  My back was aching.  For Christmas we'll be having homemade pizza with red and green toppings!
Our 20-year anniversary cruise on the Norwegian Epic left from Port Canaveral and stopped at Ocho Rios (Jamaica), Georgetown (Grand Cayman), Harvest Caye (Belize), Costa Maya (Mexico), and Cozumel.  Although there were things we thought were less than perfect, it was a very relaxing cruise.  There was no "Promenade" deck - we have always done lots of laps on previous cruises.  There were two teeny-tiny pools for 6000 passengers.  There was no "central" elevator.  They kept using something on the buffet floor that made it as slippery as ice.  Otherwise, we enjoyed the food, the entertainment, and since we had an inside cabin, we would nap during the day then sleep like babies all night.  At Costa Maya I missed a Geo-event at 9am because we slept till 10:30!

A few days after the cruise we attended a geo-Christmas party with gift exchange/steal.  I loaded a big bag with my camo'ed pill bottles, Harbor Freight swag and random crap from the Christmas box in the basement.  Corny brought home a very nice travel martini kit with shaker and little glasses!  We only know one alcoholic, and they drink wine.
Movies I've seen since June: Oceans 8, Overboard, Hereditary, Book Club, Action Point, On Chesil Beach. Adrift, Deadpool, Tag, Sicario, Incredibles 2, Jurassic World, Won't You Be My Neighbor. The Wife, Alpha, Peppermint, Pope Francis, Searching, Predator, The Nun, Crazy Rich Asians. Smallfoot, A Star is Born, Johnny English, Old Man and a Gun, Halloween, Beautiful Boy, Night School.

He should be taught the "drop" cue and trade-up games. Destructive behavior: Scrappy is reported to show destructive behavior in the home. We are unaware of what, if any, attempts were made to remedy this behavior but we suggest to future adopters that Scrappy will need to be provided with physical and mental stimulation and with a variety of appropriate and engaging chew toys so he can engage in necessary chewing behavior without damage to human objects. Fearful/potential for defensive aggression: Scrappy is reported to bark and growl at some children. It is important to always go slow and give Scrappy the option to walk away from any social interaction. Scrappy should never be forced to approach anything that he is uncomfortable with or to submit to petting or handling. It should always be Scrappy’s choice to approach a new person or thing. Scrappy would do best in an initially calm and quiet home environment and should be given time to acclimate to his new surroundings. ... Stole this from @hawkland
Go to your works page, expand all the filters, and answer the following questions:
1. What’s your first and second most common work ratings? Any surprises?
·         Explicit (48)
·         General Audiences (39)
Okay, so, uh… Not sure what to make of that. Either I write porn or I write the exact opposite, apparently. I’m not entirely surprised so much of it is porn – frequent readers will remember that I have a long list of making Munch and Fin do kinky stuff together. I am honestly way more surprised that so much of it is so firmly in the G area. (And a lot more of my fic these days will wind up there – lately I’ve had zero interest in writing porn. Suggestive is about the best I can do. So, idk, T? Let’s go with T).
2. What’s your most common archive warning? Least common? Do you consider yourself an adventurous writer?
No Archive Warnings Apply (110)
Major Character Death (5)
Creator Chose Not To Use Archive Warnings (2)
Yeah, not surprised. I generally dislike deathfic, so I don’t write much of it. The ones I do write tend to come when they’ve lived long lives (not always, I’ve written a suicide fic, but that’s not on AO3, and I’m not a fan of that one for many reasons). I have two tagged with the chose not to use warnings, and for one, I’m not even sure why I tagged it that way – I read it and have zero idea why I chose that. Coming Around Again definitely should be tagged that way, I think, since it involves canon-typical violence and potential non-con that others may find objectionable, but it is canon-typical. And that’s absolutely clarified in the tags, although by now, the tags are a paragraph!
And what the fuck do you mean by ‘adventurous writer’? I write out of my comfort zone all the time – pairings I wouldn’t normally consider, kinks I wouldn’t normally think of, issues I wouldn’t always tackle. I write kinky smut as a pastime, isn’t that adventurous? God, I have at least five fics where Munch dresses up in women’s clothes to seduce Fin, and several where Fin whips Munch before fucking the life out of him. Is that adventurous? Or are we just classifying it based on using those tags? Because I don’t care for deathfic, and rape/non-con is not something I particularly write into my pairings. I’m not against it; I just don’t see it happening in my pairings.
3. How many fics have you written in each relationship category? Is this more accidental, or do you have preferences?
M/M     (116)
F/M     (5)
And that sums that up. There is literally nothing accidental about that. I prefer m/m ships by far. I’m more comfortable, for god only knows what reason, writing men having sex than I am writing women having sex (even though I’ve had sex primarily with women and am myself biologically female. Go figure). I find male characters far, far more developed and fleshed out on screen than females, and that is not a coincidence – they are written that way for fucks sake. I’m absolutely not against f/f or f/m ships, provided they give me an interesting female character, but I don’t hold my breath waiting for the primarily male writers of such shows to do so. (The only show where I could see myself writing F/F or F/M would be Doctor Who, and I don’t write Doctor Who fic. Or not much, anyway.)
4. What are your top 4 fandoms by numbers? Are you still active in any of them, and do you tend to migrate a lot?
Law     & Order: SVU (91)
House     MD (16)
Doctor     Who (5)
Jeeves     & Wooster (4)
I migrate a lot. I’m not active in House, haven’t been for years. God, about… 8 or 9 by now. Law & Order I still write some for, but I’ve been withdrawing more and more as the show spirals rapidly downward and the fandom wank goes crazy (yes, I’m looking at you, Barisi fandom. *sideeye*). It’s hard to keep coming up with ideas and wanting to write for something when the new canon is so consistently disappointing. I honestly feel like I’d be more invested if they had just cancelled it and let it be.
Doctor Who is one of my all-time favorite shows, but I rarely – if ever – write fic for it, because it’s a little too special, if that makes sense. I don’t like adding to that fandom. I don’t even partake in that fandom at all. People don’t understand don’t spoil or tag for spoilers, so I stay the fuck away, because I hate spoilers. The fics I have read for that can be wonderful. They can also be horrendous, though.
Jeeves & Wooster is one of those I barely write for – the ones I wrote were all Doctor Who crossovers. It’s very, very hard to mimic that style! However, that’s a fandom I go back to time and time again to read the stories!
And my new one, which doesn’t show up on the list but should soon – Sherlock. That’s one I’m throwing myself into whole-heartedly. And that’s really the way I do it. I find a new one and give it basically my all, and if the fandom is really good, if the canon and the fic is excellent, I’ll keep a part of it when I move on. If not, I’ll let it go completely. (So yeah, serial monogamist is a good way to describe me too, ha)
5. What are your top character tags? Does this match how you feel about the characters, or are you puzzled?
Odafin     “Fin” Tutuola (68)
John     Munch (68)
The rest aren’t even worth mentioning – the next one is Olivia with 27 mentions. And yes this matches how I feel about the characters. Munch and Fin were the only reason to watch the show in the 1.0 and early 2.0 days. Lack of Fin these days makes the show dull, and while I adore Sonny, that partnership between Munch and Fin is irreplaceable. (And Olivia may be mentioned often, but it’s not always with kindness. Elliot Stabler, when he’s mentioned… well, that’s never nicely. Mentioning is not the same as treating well).
6. What are your top 2 most used additional tags, and your bottom 2? What would happen if you combined all 4 of these into a fic?
Established     Relationship (82)
Humor     (31)
Semi-Public     Sex (2)
Roleplay     (2)
Uhhh… Pretty sure I did write this. Okay, no, I checked, and I didn’t. But please, that would be supremely easy to do. I checked the ones with semi-public or public sex, and those tended to be funny-ish fics. Roleplay ones are easy enough to write funny. And most of those are established relationship. Yeah, this would be literally the easiest one to pull off.
7. How many WIPs do you have currently running on AO3? Any you don’t plan on finishing?
Only one. Coming Around Again, cowritten with the wonderful @hawkland! (And, to be strictly truthful, due to many, many reasons, I have bowed out of the writing process after a long discussions of where we’re going with this with her. It is for the best, and I still have a hand in the planning process, if not the actual writing. And she has been gracious in that if a specific scene appeals to me, I have the option of writing it. It is for the best! I’m assuming she plans on finishing it!) Anyway, that is my only one, because I loathe posting WIPs. I’ve found far, far too many WIPs that I fell in love with, started reading, and went… fuck, where’s the rest, then found out that it was posted 2 years ago with no updates.
Also, I’m an inveterate meddler when it comes to my fics. No matter how good I think something sounds when I’m writing, I end up changing bits. Something doesn’t work later with bits I end up writing. A bit of canon occurs to me that I realize I should mention. Something gives me an idea that I want to add in, but first I have to set it up. (For example, in my current WIP – not posted – I wanted to poison someone, and to have someone else have the antidote on hand. First I had to set it up that the other someone carries a medical kit with poison antidotes, and why, otherwise it’s a bit Deus Ex Machina that said someone else just happens to pull out physostigmine right when the first someone ingests belladonna. Had I started posting when I first wrote the fic, I wouldn’t’ve been able to do that, because that idea occurred far later, and I had to go back and set up the medical kit with the poison antidotes).
I’m not tagging anyone, so feel free to take it & answer it if you wish!

So I was tagged by @thewayshelooksatme for this info about me. And I tag @bertandtiva, @dazzlingstarlight and whoever else who wants to do that.
The last:
1. Drink: Beer, if I do not count water and coffee as my usual stuff.
2. Phone call: Mom
3. Text message: To a friend, informing her that Barbara Hershey joined X-Files Season 11 and it is so cool, because she was such a badass as Cora Mills in OUAT.
4. Song you listened to: Believer by Imagine Dragons
5. Time you cried: Sunday, seeing Usain Bolt ending his career.
6. Dated someone twice: No. No man ever steps in the same river twice.
7. Kissed someone and regretted it: Oh well... Probably? I mean, he was cute and fine, but he was a fan of my rival football club. I felt like I betrayed my colours. But it is a long time ago.
8. Been cheated on: By a boyfriend? No. If it is meant as a general betrayal, then yes, recently. Do not want to talk about it, though.
9. Lost someone special: Unfortunately, yes.
10. Been depressed: In that society exaggerated meaning – yes, a couple of times. Last time probably this March. Never been officialy diagnosed, though, and I do not see myself as a depressed person.
11. Gotten drunk and thrown up: Oh God, yes and many times! :D But as I grow older, I check my drinking level. So it did not happen recently.
Three favourite colours:
12. Black
13. Red
14. Blue
In the last year, have you:
15. Made new friends: Yup, I did. Both in my closest surroundings and internet.
16. Fallen out of love: Well, I am not currently in a relationship, so no. If it is meant platonically, then nope either.
17. Laughed until you cried: Oh, all the time!
18. Found out someone was talking about you: Yes, both in good and bad sense. As I do not care what people who do not know me think about me, I do not feel offended.
19. Met someone who changed you: No, not in the last year. I have not changed, so... That is pretty much it.
20. Found out who your friends are: Well, I have stabilized base of my friends who I trust, so I do not have to find out who my friends are anymore. Internet-wise – I realized that some people are just not worth of my attention, if they are not paying it back.
21. Kissed someone on your Facebook list: Do not have Facebook, so impossible for me. If I had it and had certain people on it, then yes. I do kiss my friends when we meet.
General:
22. How many of your Facebook friends do you know in real life: Like I said – I do not have Facebook, so irrelevant question.
23. Do you have any pets: No, I do not. But I would love to have one.
24. Do you want to change your name: No, never thought about it. I have a nickname and that is enough for me.
25. What did you do for your last birthday: Well, since people can be assholes when it comes to parties, I made a day for myself.  I took a day off in work, went to massage saloon, had a delicious lunch... It was all about me.
26. What time did you wake up: I usually wake up at 6:50 AM.
27. What were you doing at midnight last night: I was actually just going to sleep.
28. Name something you can’t wait for: October! On 10th, I go on a classical concert that is also a tribute to Les Miserables musical as it celebrates 25th anniversary since the premiere in the Czech Republic. On 16th, I go to a concert of Ennio Morricone to see him for one last time before he retires. And on 21st, I go to see for the second time musical Tanz der Vampire.
29. and 30. Where did you go, I do not have these questions in here...
31. What are you listening to right now: I am in work, so clock ticking. :D
32. Have you ever talked to a person named tom: Yes, my brother is Tom.
33. Something that is getting on your nerves: Liars. Attention whores.
34. Most visited website: Youtube. I spent too much time there, really. Then Fanfiction.net and tumblr.
35. Hair colour: Natural – medium brown with green reflection I absolutely hated. Dyed – basic black mixed with dark red.
36. Long or short hair: Have had both, long although it can be bitchy.
37. and 38. Again missing questions.
39. Piercings: Do not have any, never wanted any.
40. Blood type: I have no idea. But I think that A. I know my father has 0.
41. Nicknames: The one I use for ages – Beatrix.acs. Other than that variations on my name Tereza – so Terka, Terezka, Teríšek, Terinka...
42. Relationship status: Single
43. Zodiac: Pisces
44. Pronouns: How is this meant? Like my favourite pronoun? Then probably ourselves – I use it so rarely. :D
45. Favourite TV show: Okay, TV shows. SHOWS. There is never just one and I will always forget one. Stargate, Frasier, Miranda, Sherlock, NCIS, JAG, The Mentalist, X-Files, House MD, OUAT, ER, Relic Hunter, Step by Step... So many.
46. Tattoos: Do not have one. If I did, it would be The Horde crest from World of Warcraft.
47. Right or left handed: Right all the way. My left hand is just for decoration, really. I practically do not use it.
48. Surgery: Never had one.
49. Piercing: Like I stated above – do not have any, never wanted any. If it is meant what is my opinion on them – do not mind them.
50. Sport: Passive or active? Actively, I used to ride a bike, do inline skating, rafting etc. Now, I do mostly yoga. Passively – wow, so many – football, almost all winter sports like ice-hockey, skiing in all forms, snowboarding... Athletics, motorsport.

52. Pair of trainers: My black Nike shoes.
More general:
53. Eating: Nothing right now. Looking forward to lunch. Generally, I eat a lot of meat.
54. Drinking: Water. I like beer a lot (we are beer nation, hey), wine, coke, tonic...
55. I’m about to: I do not know, finish this and start working? :D
56. Waiting for: Afternoon to come because I have to leave work to meet with a client.
57. Want: Massage, pool, cool drink and just sit down and read.
58. Get married: Maybe one day. I would love to wear wedding dress. But I have to find Mr. Right first.
59. Career: Secret agent, police officer or a lawyer.
Which is better:
60. Hugs or kisses: Kisses are fine, but sometimes hug can comfort way more.
61. Lips or eyes: Eyes.
62. Shorter or taller: I am quite short... So probably a bit taller than me but not too tall. Like I have a neck to keep in mind.
63. Older or younger: Older. Unless the younger would be too mature for his age, but that is so rare that I do not think I will ever meet anyone like that.
64. Nice arms or nice stomach: Arms. It does have a lot to do with hugs.
65. Hook up or relationship: Relationship.
66. Troublemaker or hesitant: Oh well.. Hesitant, I have had my share of troublemakers.
Have you ever:
67. Kissed a stranger: Yes, I did. I knew him just a couple of hours.
68. Drank hard liquor: Of course, I have.
69. Lost glasses/contact lenses: Do not use contact lenses. I have to keep my glasses on my face all the time, so it is hard for me to lose them. Broke them? Yes. Lost them? No.
70. Turned someone down: Yes, multiple times.
71. Sex on the first date: No, I am not cheap, neither did I ever felt such a strong attraction.
72. Broken someone’s heart: Apparently I did? Did not have the idea, though. Was told about it by others.
73. Had your heart broken: Works both ways. Indeed, I have.
74. Been arrested: No. I am woman of the law.
75. Cried when someone died: Of course! Damn, I cry even now when I remember Alan Rickman, or David Bowie. Or when I watch a year old cinematics from World of Warcraft: Legion and see Varian, Vol’jin and Ysera die.
76. Fallen for a friend: Yup, I did. Got my heart broken.
Do you believe in:
77. Yourself: That is how I live, so yes. Without that belief I would have never achieved things I have achieved.
78. Miracles: I do believe in miracles, yes.
79. Love at first sight: Rarely happening, but yes.
80. Santa Claus: No, I am not from the United States, so we do not even have Santa Claus here. The gift bringer here is Baby Jesus (Ježíšek). And I do not believe in him since like I was 8 years old.
81. Kiss on the first date: That indeed, I believe in.
82. Angels: No, I am atheist.
Other:
83. Current best friend’s name: I do not call anyone my best friend as I do not like to privilege anyone. We meet and talk when we have time, it is not like when I was younger and we spent every single second with each other. For a long time, it was Lucie.
84. Eye colour: Brown
85. Favourite movie: The Godfather

The Vans Warped Tour release 2017 lineup!
The Warped Tour 2017 edition has its lineup, and it's as diverse as it comes. From death metal to pop to ska punk to hip hop and emo, there's a handful of bands for most young people. Of course, there was a leak over the weekend with the suspected lineup for the Cincinnati date. This was hours before I went and photographed two of the bands on the leaked lineup, Trophy Eyes, and Boston Manor. I refused to post the leak images or lineup because I just fucking hate that kind of shit, and it happens every year.
It makes me wish Kevin Lyman would send out fake press releases for a fake lineup and then fucking trick every asshole who said they were "underwhelmed" by the lineup. Unless you have curated events on a massive scale, how can you be so critical about this shit? If you don't like a lineup for a show, do you go? No! So what is the difference with the festival circuit? Is it because you feel like you own it? Like it's just for you? Well, not everything is for your kiddos. So hopefully I will see many of you who see through that bull shit. Now let's get to the lineup! One thing before scrolling, I ordered the artists at the bottom of each stage as the artists who are not playing the July 21st date in Auburn Hills, Michigan since that is our local date for the Warped Tour.

See? Not that bad at all. I actually think it's fucking impressive. There are legends on this tour. Sick of it All, GWAR!, Hatebreed, The Adolescents, TSOL, Strung Out, The Suicide Machines. If you haven't heard of these bands, educate yourselves on them and understand some of them are a privilege to see on this tour. These are artists who helped shape genres and some are the reason half the bands on this list even exist. Harcore punk legends SOIA...  how the fuck do you get to death metal without punk music? I guess it's easy nowadays but it hasn't always been that way. It was gradual you know?
Now how do you get to emo and pop punk without punk music either? It's all kind of relative. If we did a damn flow chart you would have to get through punk to get to almost every heavy genre around. There's a reason metalheads love the Misfits and Dead Kennedys and Bad Religion.
I love the back and forth between the heaviest of genres, or the more punk shit, or the emo and pop punk stuff that will always be a good time. I get it, I was 17 too once. I know how it feels to grow up going to this festival. I get why people get pissed, but like I said before, not everything is for everyone and that's ok. It's not to be exclusionary at all, it's to actually open your mind to new ideas and sounds and influences. I didn't get to the point where I wanted my face melted off by bands like Carnifex and The Acacia Strain and the 2017 lineup of Emmure, without years of moshing to punk and dancing to ska music. Way back when hall shows were still happening around these parts and I was playing, throwing, and going to these shows weekly, it was normal to have 4 or 5 different types of music in one show. Those were always my favorite. Emo to ska to punk to hardcore punk to metal or some variation of that kind of build up. The rad thing about a seven-stage festival is that each person can have a completely different experience than the person next to them. Warped Tour for me has always been the gateway festival. If you can do an all day Warped Tour from gates open to gates close, you should be able to handle most weekend festivals. Hope to see you all there and check out the dates below. Also, remember to share this as it helps the artists and us here at Shrbrt Mag to do what we do. You're literally helping build a home of an artist, photographer, musician, writer, A&R manager, and more things that I classify myself as. I can't thank you all enough for following me!
