WARPED TOUR 2016: The Interrupters Live at the Palace of Auburn Hills

For the last almost 20 years people continue to talk about 4th wave ska. I personally am one of those people who don't believe in the 4th wave. Like, at all. But if anyone is going to actually get this shit going again, it's The Interrupters. They have a perfect blend of ska, ska punk, punk, reggae, and other influences that make them the perfect "next big punk band". As a drummer in a fellow ska-punk band I can't help but really appreciate this band. 

The best part about this band is they are fucking legit. There isn't a person within these genres that doesn't believe in this band, let alone champion them, and push them on everyone they can. Even if you haven't seen The Interrupters or know who they are, chances are you have heard them. Their music has been featured in ads for T-Mobile, on the hit tv show "Shameless" and even in Michael Moore's latest documentary "Where To Invade Next?"

If it were 20 years ago we might of had this instead of No Doubt. If only! Just kidding. Their set at Warped Tour was later in the day and the heat was obviously getting to a lot of festival-goers, but that didn't stop the kids from going off to The Interrupters. Check out the gallery below!

Warped Tour 2017 is going to be one for the record books. Rumors have surfaced about the lineup, and we would hate to spread false bull shit. Just know that on March 22nd tickets go on sale and the full lineup will be released! Make sure to visit Vans Warped Tour on all their social accounts and give the bands from last year all the love they deserve! We will see you this summer Warped Tour! Blessthefall 2015

In 2015 I was able to see Blessthefall at Warped Tour. It was really awesome, the band did an outstanding job. Their were tons of crowd surfers and a nice mosh pit. I met some cool people in the crowd as well. 2016 should be an amazing year for Blessthefall, I can’t wait to see what they bring to 2016.

WARPED TOUR 2016: Every Time I Die! Live at the Palace of Auburn Hills

The last gallery from Warped Tour 2016 in Auburn Hills is from one of my favorite Hardcore bands ever. Every Time I Die. I really don't need to go into why they are one of the most unique groups of musicians out there. I really can't tell you how many times I have seen them because I have honestly lost count. What I can say is this set meant a lot to me and I could feel that it meant even more to them.

The photos from this set turned out so damn good, I am really proud of a few of them. They actually surprised me and sitting at my laptop the next day going through all the photos, these were the ones that really stuck out. It was a highly energetic set as usual. The Buckley brothers and company went the fuck off. This was the set that reminded me I still had a few hours to go. I was dying in the heat, sweating my ass off, screaming lyrics and trying to get the shots without getting tossed from the pit. I wanted to just get up and scream with them. Here are the photos.
