So aside from the whole part were that is literally just a common trope used for dramatic tension and to make the scene more exciting to watch, showing how brave and bold Lois is and at the same time showing Lois does trust superman just enough to know he'd save her even tho it means giving up his secret identity - aside from that Lois already knew Clark was superman she had given Clark the chance to come forward he didn't she realised shed have to be a little more dramatic to prove it that doesn't make her an awful person that makes her dramatic

The dog mask in Kakashi’s hand seemed to mock him, and he glared into the empty eyes. When Minato-sensei had first given him the callsign of Inu, it had seemed appropriate. Not only because of Kakashi’s ninken summons, but because of his unwavering loyalty to his master. Now it seemed like a sick joke; a choking collar around his neck, making him heel at the Sandaime’s side and only let off leash when it was time to shed blood.

He murdered in Konoha’s name, only slightly better than a feral dog, a weapon with his edges razor-sharp and prepared to slice anyone who came close to ribbons. Sometimes, he wished that’s all he was, that there was only Inu, and never Kakashi. Inu wouldn’t have nightmares where Konoha’s streets ran red with the blood of innocents he slaughtered. Inu wouldn’t gag at the feel of liquid on his hands, too much like fresh blood.

But Inu didn’t exist. There was only Kakashi, and Inu was just a persona that crumbled as soon as Kakashi was alone.

Kakashi wanted to toss the mask away. Instead he placed it over his face and stood. After all, Inu had a mission. It wouldn’t do to be late.

trying to write a background chapter as a look into y/n and benedict's friendship over the years but i am just now realizing that the 5 year age gap might be problematic

also i am using book-universe birth years but netflix-universe life events so now daphne had her first season at 22 and y/n had hers at 23 ??? 😭😭

this is so messy because i want to talk ab how their friendship was when benedict was at oxford but then i would maybe have to specify time period and ages for it to make sense??

either way i'm getting a headache. why did i do this to myself.

can't help but think of how my parents never taught me their languages because to them, being secular and westernised is ideal. it's not like they want me to be completely divorced from their respective communities. they just don't see them as important to my life? it's like an unimportant side quest that stays on ur menu for months because it seems insignificant and the rewards (in their minds) are paltry.
