Back at Home Recap Rebi had her first dance class over the weekend. There was only one incident on the way there because someone decided they didn't like dancing anymore. The car issue was technically not in public so my defendant and I believe it doesn't count as not behaving herself. Daddy doesn’t have to know that part. Case closed. Moving on.

I've seen the new teaser trailer for Castlevania Nocturne and I have thoughts.

(I'm adding the read more because this was a lot longer than I initially thought it'd be)

1) I am very happy to see Annette (the new black vampire hunter/magic girl), her design looks quite good (especially her yellow vest and her hair) and already seeing her on the run provides a nice hint of tension.

2) Maria's hair did not look quite how I expected it to but it looks nice and her summoning magic is quite pleasing to the eye.

3) I'm so happy with how cool the set up for these antagonists seem so far, especially the vampire that killed Richter's mom out of revenge, and I'm happy that the fancy vampire lady is Erzsebet Bathory instead of Marie Antoinette (at least that's what I've heard so far).

3.1) I feel low-key guilty for thinking that the vampire who killed Richter's mom is kind of a baddie, especially since she was also kind of a baddie

3.2) How did that vampire chasing Annette dye her hair???

4) I am hoping to see somewhat accurate insights into the French aristocracy since I find it interesting how in real life King Louis the 16th and Marie Antoinette were not bad people but inept and unlucky rulers who were destroyed by the system that molded them into monarchs in the first place.

5) I also hope that we can see some class dynamics in general since setting this during the French Revolution provides such interesting opportunities for storytelling. Especially if we actually see the ramifications of King Louis the 16th and Marie Antoinette's executions.

5.1) Hopefully these class struggles create an initial sense of tension between Richter, Maria and Annette since it seems like Richter and Maria are still descended from nobility while Annette doesn't seem to be.

6) I still firmly believe that Alucard will be in this show and that while he isn't the dark messiah being referred to in the trailer there's a good chance that Richter, Maria and Annette might initially mistake him for the dark messiah.

6.1) I also believe that Alucard will follow in Dracula's legacy and quickly become the residential sad dad once he's introduced to the new party. Also he is the one that will say "So part of you has died," to Richter (which we heard in the first teaser trailer).

6.2) Alucard will initially be MIA and will have to be reawoken by Richter, Maria and Annette because he had to recuperate from Erzsebet really hurting him or because he took a depression nap after Trevor, Sypha and Greta died.

7) I know that Dracula is the dark messiah being referenced in the trailer and I hope that he ends up being a more reluctant player in Erzsebet's plan than he'd seem to be. Like he seemed pretty neutral towards humanity and was even willing to live alongside them covertly at the end of Castlevania since Lisa was with him. Ultimately I hope that him getting to see her live a fulfilling life helping others will permanently shift his view of humanity in some way, even if he's just neutral towards them.

7.1) I think it would be very interesting if Dracula saw killing humanity as an act of mercy or if he was being forced to act on Erzsebet's world domination plans like he was when he was part of the Rebis. And if neither of those things happen I really hope that we get a good reason for him turning against humanity again. If we went down that route I would personally prefer if he was disappointed in humanity instead of hating fully like he did after Lisa died.

7.2) Goddamn I am so excited to hear Graham McTavish's voice again.

8) I think Tera (the blonde magic lady who resembles Lisa) is cool but I am desperately hoping that she will be her own character and not a reincarnation of Lisa.

9) I hope they're using the supporting characters voices most in this trailer as a way to save Richter, Maria and Annette's personalities as nice little surprises for the show.

10) I am unsure if the vampire that killed Richter's mom is the man with the gravelly voice in the first teaser trailer but if so him being a reluctant mentor for Richter would be very interesting, especially if he helps lead into the themes of betrayal implied in that teaser trailer. I am also wondering who the lady with the very sad sounding voice in the first teaser trailer was since I'm pretty sure we didn't hear her this time around. I might just be confused since I don't think we've seen everyone who was talking in the first teaser, like how we didn't hear everyone from this trailer in the first one.

11) I do hope that we get some insight on what exactly happened to Trevor, Sypha and Greta after the end of Castlevania. I would also love more insight on what happened to Dracula, Lisa, Isaac and Hector as well but this feels less likely to happen.

12) This trailer is so goddamn pretty on a visual level.

13) The only things about this trailer I don't like much are the music, since it feels a bit too dramatic at times, and the lack of personality we see from our main trio so far. Aside from that I am super duper excited to see what Castlevania Nocturne has in store for us in September.

Seaman Reby Cary (September 9, 1920 - December 7, 2018) educator, community activist, politician, entrepreneur, and WWII veteran he was born in Fort Worth to Reverend Smith and Maggie B. Cary. He has a BA in History from Prairie View A&M College. He completed the requirements for his MA in history but WWII interrupted his studies. He returned to Prairie View and completed his MA.

He enlisted in the Coast Guard, becoming one of the first African Americans to be commissioned in the ranks of apprentice seaman. He became a Radioman Second Class and was assigned to the USS Cambria. He noted that thousands of other Black women and men in WWII still had to ride on segregated trains.

He found that vocational training programs for veterans were restricted to white former servicemen only. He co-founded the McDonald College of Industrial Arts for African Americans

He was a counselor and history/government instructor at Dunbar Middle School. He became an assistant professor of history at Tarrant County Junior College and became the first Black professor hired at the University of Texas at Arlington. He led a successful crusade to remove Confederate symbols from the UTA campus.

He established a successful real estate company. He was a noted local historian who authored several books on African American history in North Texas.

He became the first African American elected to the Fort Worth School Board. He ran for the Texas State Legislature, becoming the first State Representative elected in District 95. He introduced the bill to create the Texas Commission on Human Rights to fight racial discrimination across the state. He became a Republican.

He was a member of New Rising Star Baptist Church and Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity. He served the Boy Scouts of America, the United Way, and the Fort Worth Metropolitan Black Chamber of Commerce.

Elden Ring Starting Classes

Compiling the true history of the Lands Between cannot be done by using only information internal to the game world. It is not meant to be. When the meaning of the in-game dialogue and other text is ambiguous, players will fill in the blanks with their own biases - *and will not know that they are doing this*. Having the story be open to interpretation does not mean "all interpretations are equal", it means that it is very revealing the things that any given person may assume when solving an open ended question.

So that is partly how I had arrived at using the starting classes as way to organize the types of external information that can help understand the metaphysical nature of the Lands Between.

Hero - Nepheli Loux wears the Champion Set, which indirectly ties this starting class to Hoarah Loux. Consider how the step-by-step classic Hero's Journey would have applied to Hoarah Loux's conquest.

Warrior - There are several scattered items in the game connecting this class to the Blind Swordsman who sealed the God of Rot. Consider how the inconsistent description of this character resembles folklore. Ainsel, Chelona, and Eiglay are examples of direct references to folk tales and mythology, but there are many more parallels to be found.

Bandit - The bandit relies on crafting items such as arrows and efficiently using and countering status effects. They pay attention to the natural landscape. There are many animals and trees in the Lands Between that can be researched to learn more about their cultural significance and biology.

Prophet - Find the parallels to real world religious practices (pre-history, pagan, Christian, etc) and burial rites. View the Lands Between as an afterlife populated by gods and souls. Also consider that one of the ways to understand the history of the Lands Between is as a step-by-step process through the tarot major arcana (where many steps are reverse readings).

Confessor - Understand the secret goals of the Golden Order. Interpret the story told through classical alchemic elements, where the desired end result is gold and the rebis. Also consider Jungian psychology which is structured around persona, self, anima/animus, and shadow. And overall understand that alchemy is a fools errand and its failure is the reason for the Shattering.

Vagabond - The vagabond has the appearance of a classic knight and is an exile from another land. Approach the game as a Dark Souls veteran. Interpret symbolic elements in the context of past Dark Souls games - what is deliberately the same and what is different?

Samurai - Approach the game as a stranger in a strange land. Pay attention to exact words and phrasing - assume that there are no outright lies, but that some of the phrasing is deliberately misdirecting. Also pay attention to the words themselves - most names have meaningful interpretations if you look up the translation or definition. Assume that there is a story behind every proper noun. Also *Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice* literally takes place in Ashina the "Land of Reeds".

Astrologer - interpret the fate in the stars. Research the Real World Western Constellations and there are a lot of parallels between major players, enemy types, and animals in the story - with specific attention to the "fate of the Carian Royal Family". For a start *Three Sisters* is both a constellation and a name for the Greek Fates. Also study the history of astronomy from antiquity until the current understanding that the sun is a star.

Prisoner - The Prisoner uses Carian Sorcery which places the moon and stars as equal. Vedic Astrology. A form of astrology that determines a person's personality type according to the position of the moon among the 12 zodiac constellations at time of birth. The entire history of the Lands Between is approximately structured as following a wheel of astrological progression.

Wretch - The Wretch is mostly interpreted in the context of every other class. Overall, evokes the extreme difficulty of trying to brute force an understanding without using any external reference as framework.

There are also some observations that cross categories. There is language of colour in visuals of the various aspects of the game, including plant-life, clothing, status effects and item descriptions. Gemstones of various colours have real world associations with months of the year, the planets, and chakras. Architecture and statues have parallels to real world cultures. Understanding how the history of real world metallurgy and chemistry evolved from roots in alchemy is also helpful.

Anyways, that's just an overview of the external stuff that is relevant. There are a lot of elements to environmental storytelling that are also being overlooked.

rofl, so now more than ever, let's talk about a juno kinda inspired, teen pregnancy AU for penelope and joey.

the good cheerleader girl who likes heavy music winds up on the wrong side of a party and ends up hooking up with the absolute worst bad boy in the entire school because they've both had a little too much to drink and shocker, when you're plastered, you don't really think about a condom in a tiny half bathroom at someone's mom's house.

penelope is terrified that her parents are going to disown her, that her friends are going to leave her, that everything is going to go completely upside down, meanwhile joey isn't listening to a word she's fucking saying because he just found out that he's gonna be a dad, and she plans on keeping the baby, and even if they had the conversation about alternative things to do, he also can't stomach the idea of losing his child, even if this child wasn't planned, even if, even if, even if. so, they keep it a secret. for a long time. hell, half the time they act like they hardly know each other. it's wildly unhealthy, and it doesn't help them come together as parents at all, but as she gets further along and as things progress, joey begins to give a real damn about penelope to the point that he finds himself in fights with football players that made comments about penelope's body changing and her gaining weight. penelope finds herself defending joey verbally to her friends and the teachers she knows and loves, wanting to make sure that he doesn't get expelled or any horrible abuses from her friends. they only tell people when the baby is almost here. and even then, they don't tell everyone. penelope's parents were furious, joey's mom was ready to adopt the baby if completely necessary, penelope's friends were Less than Pleased with her choices in life and joey's friends thought it meant he sold out to the higher crowd. it was all a mess. penelope wishes she just would've come home with the baby without explanation.

joey steals the cutest fucking gender-neutral clothes from target. penelope is angry at first because obviously, she doesn't want to dress her baby in something that's been stolen, but goddamnit, he really does have pretty decent taste and the clothes he steals are absolutely adorable. he tries to encourage penelope to steal some on her own time and she contemplates it, but she's just too much of a goody two shoes to ever go along and do it. that baby has so many cute band shirts, leather jackets, and everything that feels so very much Joey. when they find out that they're having a little girl, penelope is DELIGHTED and joey's world turns upside down because he has the harsh reality check of "fuck, what if there's someone out there like me that tries to fuck around with MY daughter?" and he automatically becomes so much more insanely protective that it's kind of adorable.

that baby inspires joey to get his shit together, in the best way. like, he starts attending class. he starts giving a fuck. he talks to doctors about his adhd and tries to find ways to make school and everything else in the world more bearable. he wants to pass, and to succeed-- he wants to be able to provide for his little girl and give him everything in the world. he wants to be one hell of a dad, and he also wants to make sure that he doesn't leave her too soon in life because he knows that pain and anguish, so he finds himself falling out of drugs and heavy drinking because who fucking knows how long he'd last with that combination.

somewhere along the way, pen and joey fall madly and deeply in love. like it's blatant, but they're both still so young and going through so much that neither one says anything to the other. especially after their daughter is born and they get to see each other with her, it's damn near impossible for their hearts to not explode like confetti balloons. it isn't until one night where penelope leaves the baby with joey and his mom to go out on a date where joey finally snaps and says something. penelope is fucking shook to her core and is torn-- because part of her is ANGRY at him for never saying anything until now, and the other part is so overwhelmed because she feels very much the same way, but it's such a romeo/juliet situation where they shouldn't be together, their families wouldn't want them to be together (except joey's mom would love it), but still. penelope winds up leaving her date early and comes home and lays a big ol' kiss on joey. from then on, they start dating.

joey fucking graduates. he passes high school, mostly through sheer determination and will of wanting to prove something to himself and to penelope and his daughter that anything is possible. penelope graduates with honors as the cheer captain, and she does some corny ass speech at graduation about surprises and good things coming even when you don't expect them. but now there's the conversation of college and life after high school and whether or not it will go well.... WELL!!!

imagine a scenario where drew is the teacher at some school, and reby is a freshly single parent. no one really knows why, no one really knows... anything, but they know reby-- she was the prime PTA mom, the one who was involved in everything, was making sure that the school that she paid insane money for covered things that were important. she went from like Thee Mom of the school to coming back after summer vacation just a shell of who she was, and maxel is in mr. gulak's class for the year and :)

reby, as always, trying to go above and beyond-- to provide for the class, to provide for her kids, to make sure that the teacher knows how appreciated she is. so she learns things about him from maxel, and around the holidays, she sends him little hanukkah gifts that let her know how grateful she is that her son is with such a wonderful person. she regularly sends him snacks and things, especially on friday's. making sure that mr. gulak actually ate breakfast, otherwise sending him bagels and coffee. she practically funds all the school field trips without the other parents even having to get involved, partially because she wants the best for her son, but partially because she just wants drew to be able to be the teacher he deserves to be, without any restrictions holding him back.

every time they have a parent-teacher meeting, their conversations will go on for hours. the first time it was interrupted by the next family, but the following time, they made sure to schedule their's as the last for the night and they just stayed and talked and got to know each other and talked and talked and talked. drew went in feeling as though he learned nothing new about reby every time, whereas he exposed everything about himself that he could within reasonable comfort. he could tell she was guarded, and not once did they ever discuss her separation from matt, what had led to her downfall, anything. but amazingly, he was one of the only ones who never asked. even more so, he was the one who didn't really care. he treated her how he would've treated her in any other scenario, as he had in the past when he only knew her as a PTA mom that would burn down the school if it meant making sure her children were taken care of and provided for in the way she so desired.

maxel is what leads to them meeting outside of a school setting, because he's interested in mat wrestling and drew teaches at a local school. little does reby know that when she's taking maxel to this first class, drew will be there. and it's a different drew, it's not the teacher with the nice clothes and the fat ass that's about to bust the buttons on his slacks, but drew in workout gear and relaxed and you can ~ SEE THINGS ~ and she finds herself having to actually leave the facility for a minute to gather her thoughts because he's somehow even hotter??? than she'd ever realized, and he was already REALLY FUCKING HOT. so now, reby's seen him in two wonderful settings, and she gets nailed in the head with a third when she realizes that maxel truly fucking loves learning from him, like so much-- and that maxel outright asked him if he'd be willing to teach him how to play guitar, since mr. gulak had done it before in class. which means a WHOLE 'NOTHER DAY OF THEM BEING TOGETHER OUTSIDE OF SCHOOL. maxel knows what he's doing.

drew comes to their house for guitar lessons, and eevee automatically takes to him, when she doesn't take to anybody. she's generally very much Gothic Baby and stands to the side, unimpressed, not sure with anyone, but for some reason, from out the gate, she's absolutely obsessed with him and won't leave him alone. so he'll be there, trying to teach maxel guitar while gothic baby is sitting on the ground right by him looking up at him with so much amazement and love in her eyes. one night, reby offers to make him dinner after giving him his payment (which he asked for fucking nickels and dimes) and drew finally accepts, and they stay up all night talking. the boys and eevee eventually go to bed (eevee fell asleep on drew), but reby and drew stay up all night long talking about everything and anything under the sun. their passions, their loves, their families, and eventually even matt. drew discusses his own exes, his own faults, his own everything-- it's a super deep, super intimate conversation and reby tries to make him stay the night but he's a fucking Gentleman and doesn't do it, but insists that he's able to take her out and get to do this the proper way, the way she deserves.

they go on dates. they fall in love. everything is beautiful and magical and wonderful and a complete perfect fairytale dream. there is no negative. they're absolutely perfect for one another, and they raise her kids as if they're his. they become such perfect, honest, noble little people and eventually, drew proposes and eevee CRIES out of jealousy lmao. their wedding is a complete DIY situation but it's done on the first day of summer vacation because they're both absolutely psychotic. they wind up opening a music school in the same town, one where she teaches piano and drew teaches guitar. they're both insanely involved in the school still. they love each other unconditionally. it's absolutely perfect and a dream and :) amen.

Chapter 7

Warning. This includes shipping of wrestlers. If you don’t like, don’t read.

An: this is shorter then most, but I wanted to give a good look at what Adam is working through emotionally.

Adam limped through the school, cursing himself for not getting extra paper for class last Friday. The walk into the school had been painful enough, and now he had to walk to the other side to get to the teachers lounge. He just thanked God that he didn’t have to go up or down any stairs. He passed a few students on his way, but they were too occupied to really notice him.

“Damn Page. What fight did you lose?” Matt asked as soon as he walked in. The room had him, Reby, and Matt.

“You seem surprised that I’m not a fighter.” He joked, walking over to the supply closet.

“What are you even doing at work looking like that?” Reby asked, turning her eyes to Matt who put his hands up in defense.

“Don’t look at me. The guy hates staying at home.”

“If I looked like that I’d just retire.” Hardy chuckled, shaking his head.

Adam did his best to grab the stack of paper while also keeping his balance. After a moment of struggling Matt got up and went to help him, taking the paper.

“I got it.” He assured Adam. They both said goodbye to the couple before starting the walk back to Adam’s classroom. They walked in silence before Matt finally said something.

“Why don’t you have your crutches?”

“I’m fine.”

“Don’t start that shit.” Matt glared at him.

“Start what?”

“Cutting people off when they worry. You did it when you got injured, when you got kicked out, whenever Jeremy put his hands on you-“

“Matt, I’ve told you to stop saying he hit me. He didn’t.” Adam snapped as they walked into his room.

“So you came to school bitchy and bruised for no good reason?” Matt set the paper on the counter before turning to look at Adam.

“Yes. Now let it go.”

“What is wrong with you today? Did something else happen?” Matt questioned. He may have been used to how Adam acted in school, but he had been better the past year or so. More open with people.

“Me and Kenny had a fight.” Adam mumbled.

“Couples fight, I’m sure it’s just the stress.” Matt offered, but Adam shook his head.

“I feel like I’m falling apart, Matt. Like I’m lying to everyone all the time, and it’s all about to come apart around me. The hell is wrong with me.” Adam ranted, sitting on the edge of a desk. Matt stood Awkwardly, trying to find the right words.

“I think this is something you need to tell Kenny. You both love each other, so don’t push him away.” Matt patted Adam’s shoulder lightly, giving him a small smile.

“I know.”

A few hours later

Adam’s eyes scanned over his class. He had his intro to physical art class, which was normally a quiet class. They tended to just work on their project and listen to music. He looked back at his computer, looking through some local therapist while trying to think of what he was going to say tonight when he got home. His attention was brought back to the class when a few people in the back were getting rowdy. Said people were Sammy, Marko, and Kip. They were all talking amongst themselves, slowly getting louder and louder.

“Boys, let’s quiet it down.” Adam called out, making the boys glance at him. They seemed to quiet down, so Adam went back to his computer. He opened a few emails, reading over them before he heard a chair quickly get pushed out. He looked up just in time for his student Darby to launch himself at the three boys.

“Boys!” He quickly jumped up and did his best to run over. Darby was hitting whoever he could while Sammy, Marko, and Kip were fighting back. “Someone grab another teacher!” He hollered at the other students as he grabbed Marko, trying to pull him back. This earned him a hard elbow to his ribs, causing pain to shoot through him and let go of the boy. Adam grabbed his midsection, coughing a bit as pain corded through him. He felt something snap in him.

“God fucking damn it!” His outburst actually caused the three boys to stop right as another teacher walked in. “Your four, vice principals office. Now.” He turned to look at the other teacher. “Watch the rest of my class.”

Adam practically limped to the office, keeping each of the boys in his sights. As they walked in he didn’t even ask if Cody was there, just opened the door to his office. Said man looked up surprised to see them all.

“Mr. Page’Omega, what are you doing in here?”

“These boys broke out in a fight in my room.” He snapped. Cody nodded, looking between the boys and Adam. “Ok, I will take care of this. And, I think you should go home.” Cody made eye contact with Adam, and if Adam hadn’t felt as angry as he did he might have seen the worry.

“I’ll get a sub in your room immediately, and my assistant will call Kenny.” He said, leaving no room for Adam to argue. He nodded and left the room, shouting the door so Cody could talk to them.

For what felt like the hundredth time that day, he made the walk back to his classroom. Thankfully the period had ended, and it was his prep so no one was in the room. When he walked in he looked around, just standing in the middle of the room. He felt drained, and he didn’t know what to do.

“Mr. Page?” He turned to see Kris sticking her head into the room. He forgot she normally came to his calls during his prep. “Mr. Omega is here.” She practically whispered, and Kenny walked in immediately after.

“Oh Adam…” he walked up and wrapped his arms around Adam, letting him rest his head on his shoulder.

“I’m so tired.”

“I know. Let’s go home.”

Kenny looked down at Adam who, even asleep, had a strong grip on Kenny. As soon as Kenny got a call that something had happened rushed to the school. He hated watching Adam hurt, and it seemed to be more and more often. He allowed his hand to run through Adam’s hair, feeling the soft curls.

“Ken?” He looked back at Adam’s face, seeing his eyes open.

“Hey. How are you feeling?”

“Like shit.” He mumbled, pushing his face into Kenny’s chest. He was slowly realizing they were both laying in bed. “I’m sorry.”

“You have nothing to be sorry for.”

“I was an ass this morning.” He continued, ignoring what Kenny said. “I should have understood, and you're right. I need help, especially after today.”

“Adam, just calm down. You don’t need to think about that right now.” Kenny tried, but Adam pulled his head up to look at him.

“I don’t know what happened Ken. I’ve split up fights before, but it felt different. I had so much anger, and then… nothing. Like all the energy was yanked out of me.” Adam admitted.

They laid in silence for a few moments. “I logged out of your computer, and I saw you were looking at therapists. Did you find any good ones?”

“You remember dr. punk?”

“Our school counselor?”

“Ya,” Adam confirmed. “Well, he’s in the area and taking clients. I figured, if anything, he already knows my family stuff, and I know him. Might make it easier to open up.” He explained his thought process.

“If you think that would help.”

So these are some AU doodles for my ocs Urias and Aine. In the AU I had I doodled out what their nobodies that they controlled would look like. Urias’s nobodies look...terrifying. Not even Xemnas wants to deal with them. He didn’t recruit Urias because of this. Meanwhile Aine’s is more friendly.

Rebis is the name of Urias’s nobody class, which is a reference to “rebis” from alchemy. Since Urias’s background is of angelic nature, the nobody appears angelic and androgynous, as he too is androgynous in appearance. This nobody was more fun to design as I wanted it to look messed up and creepy. I mean aren’t all the nobodies kinda creepy?

So there's this classmate of mine, Simone, who's possibly the laziest human being I've ever met: never studies, always skips lessons, especially now with the videolessons he has a different excuse EVERY DAY for not attending, always cheats at tests etc etc, and then complains he's going to fail his classes -- we all know someone like him, and I've always taken some pity on him and sent him the homework, helped him cheat, made excuses for him, all that, out of solidarity.

So it's May, right? The time of the year when all Italian teachers miraculously band together to orally test the living shit out of their pupils, leaving them crying and having mental breakdowns on their textbooks. The only solution is to organise a system of volunteers for said orals, which not all profs accept but most do -- namely, our greek+latin prof Fausto, as most of our teachers, accepts and encourages them, and our history+philosophy teacher Antonella doesn't, but rather prefers to tell us in advance who she's going to call on, which is equally good for us.

Something noteworthy happens on Sunday night: our friend Reby, while videochatting with her fuckbuddy and dear friend of mine Tobia, caught a glimpse of his WhatsApp DMs while he was screen-sharing, and one of these DMs was Simone to the guy group: "let's hope those cunts (troie) are volunteering in latin idk shit". Rebecca proceeds to tell our girl group, and we go insane: how dare he insult his very own female classmates who have been covering his ass for months, some of which he's known his whole fucking life! So we don't confront the boys about it, but we're harbouring resentment.

So, this Monday/yesterday: Antonella, having told us prior who she was going to test in philo and history, tests her students in philosophy, the subject they've all been preparing for this whole weekend; after that, Fausto comes on call, and asks for volunteers in latin. None arise, as four people have been cramming philosophy, another four myself included have been cramming history for the next day, and the remaining six have recent marks in latin; nonetheless, Fausto carries on, and calls on Alberto, the real life version of the 80s incel the chads shove into lockers, and me, who could not know less about the Vergilian Georgics. I, panicking, start reading the latin text with a shit accentuation, and he quickly gets fed up, saying I need to learn to read better and he'll call on me on Thursday, which I happily accept.

Now, remember Simone? Yeah, well, he'd been saying all weekend he'd been studying Latin and was hoping to go on Monday, only to inform us that very morning that he was woefully still unprepared, and was going to volunteer on Wednesday -- which we all accept, complain about it for a bit on the girls' groupchat, but don't make a scene, especially seeing as Alberto and the girl Fausto had called in my place had done pretty well at their interrogation.

Monday afternoon: I'm furiously making mind maps and family trees in an attempt to remember the extent of Charles V Habsburg's kingdom and the different branches of 16th century Protestantism, and remind my classmates to think up some volunteers for greek the following day, to which someone says "it's okay, Fausto said he was going to explain the new lesson"; I was not convinced, but my classmates were, so nobody decided to volunteer, and I did not touch the new greek lesson with a ten-foot pole (you can see where this is going).

Tuesday, or today: we're supposed to have Maths first period, but our teacher is ill and we skip it, so we have more time to rehearse, yeah! Then Antonella calls and the four of us get oral tested -- it goes pretty well for me at least, I was super anxious, but I know how to find my way around the various topics. Next and last lesson of the day is Fausto, with greek, who comes on and asks for volunteers: silence fills the videoconference as he gets pissed and says he'll call on someone random, and though we shyly try to remind him he was supposed to start the new chapter, he only gets more mad. He calls on Simone, who he's never had the chance to hear due to him being a cunt, and our groupchat floods with messages in mere seconds as we scream for Simone to fucking answer already, goddamn! Then, Simone texts us and says "guys, I have a fever, I accidentally slept with the AC on and now I'm bedridden", which SURE YOU DID YOU FUCKING SATANIC MENSTRUAL CUP, and as we proceed to shower him in insults, one of us reluctantly tells Fausto that Simone is not in the chat. He then calls on me, and I am once again washed over by panic: I turn on my mic and tell him that no, I'm not able to withstand an oral test right now as I've only done history all these days and that he can call on me another time if he wants. Fausto gets, if possible, even angrier (and rightfully so too), and proceeds to rant about how he's the last wheel in the chariot and nobody respects him and we are all ungrateful and he's going to give me a 2/10 before closing the call and storming off like a five-year old. Now, we are used to these temper tantrums, but we don't know what to do now, and I'm just full on sobbing and bawling from all that has happened at this point; I marginally calm down and go on videochat with my friends, where we brutally and graphically insult Simone for a while, and I chill out, well aware that Fausto is just a messy bitch with a temper who isn't going to give me an actual 2.

So now the situation has cooled, we all share a collective hatred of Simone, who could've been really suck but after all the times he's faked it we just cannot afford believing him anymore, and I'm really looking forward to when he'll be interrogated by Antonella and Fausto :) it's karma, you filthy crevice of Satan's asshole.

Just the four today, so as a quick update on the last fortnightly progress report as of today I’ve completely finished writing all the new assignments. That’s the four new slave training options and the four new regular assignments that will be coming next update. That includes working out the traits for each of them along with the rewards and effects tied into them. 

Anonymous: is there an ETA on the next no haven build? kinda waiting for all the new stuff before diving back in.

Based on how it’s going I’d say absolutely in September and ideally sooner in the month rather than later. Still plenty to do though so will keep you all updated with how I’m getting on.

To quote the page that’s on Patreon that goes into it:

At $5 above you will also get access to the Transformed edition which will have the transformed portraits available from the start under a fourth starting gender option. These are currently available in game, but only if you manage to change from male to female which can be tricky. They will be classed as female, have the same starting traits as they would normally start off with (Feminine swapped out for Beautiful), and for those who haven't seen them they've all been edited by me to a greater or lesser extent. There will also be a small amount of extra text at the beginning of the game to reflect your choice and a few other bits of rewording.

As of 0.72 you now get access to the Scenario exclusive slavers so that you can play them as a normal start as well. This allows you to play them as without the limitations of the Scenario and choose to fully customise them if you want.

This currently unlocks 15 additional starting options from the transformed portraits and 16 additional starting options from the Scenarios and more will be added in future updates I'm sure. This now includes the 3 harpy starts from the most recent Scenario.

As of 0.75 this now includes Super Negatives available via Full custom starts. These include aspects previously exclusive to the Whore Exodus Scenario along with being able to start off possessed by a succubus with increasing controls over your actions and/or being a shakko addict.

If any of that’s not clear then please do let me know. The idea with the TF edition is not to have locked off exclusive content, but to give more options for customization that already exist in some form or another already in the current game. 

You’re also supporting me which really is making a massive differences in providing far more regular updates this year.
