//Its beyond my sleep-time, and I need to put this out here. Aka grab a comfortable seat it's serious talk time.

Now now it's been awhile since I've been in a safe fandom such as this and dios has it been fun. Yeah it started off smooth and had some rocky roads, and currently it's going pretty well

Unfortunately I can't say the same for other people, I know if I don't say this sooner or later my memorys just gonna mess it up.

But what I wanna say is, don't ever be afraid to express yourself. Don't be afraid to post, reblog, like, ask, etc. Trust me on this, no matter how many bad people there are Tumblr is the greatest place to do these things on.

If your afraid of doing it, don't worry just take your time to think about it but still it doesn't hurt to give posting or reblogging a try.

I was once in your place, a place where I was afraid of how people would think of my posts and how I'd act, but in the end there were lots of people who welcomed me with open arms.

And I know people will welcome you with open hands as well, no matter how many people get upset or cringe at you, people will still like you the way you are. (platonically)

So come on, don't resist (if your ready), try and reblog your favorite tumblr post about an interest you have, post some funfacts you have in your mind, or just show off the coolest things you have! It's always refreshing to try and reach out to a community that you never knew existed.

It may be a stab in the dark, but in the end it will always end up you stabbing the cake celebrating you coming out of your shell being confident.

It just bugs me when the fandom treats Tails as a baby who has sonic as his daddy. Tails may be younger than sonic, but that doesn't make him a helpless diaper baby that needs sonic to wipe his ass. Tails was living on his own even before he met sonic..he has multiple workshops and creates glorious inventions and kicks badniks ass.

I'm not really broken up about people making fanon aus or whatever. But the amount of times there's like a new Tailstube or whatever and someone goes "OMG see! This is the proof that Tails is a 5 year old baby boy that Sonic is actively teaching to read and is practically parenting! All sega needs to do now is make him stay home and go to school and act more like Sonic's kid brother!!🥰" while Sonic and Tails are chilling in one of Tails multiple homes that Tails owns and allows Sonic to crash at

Or the amount of animations/comics that give him Cream's speech patterns, make him naive af and oblivious to "adult" things like *checks notes*...kissing(?), a gremlin baby child who can't stand losing games to Sonic, actively say "it's basically canon that Sonic actually owns Tails' shit", claim (incorrectly) that classic Tails was an infant child that Sonic picked up and started raising, etc, meanwhile everyone glazes up op talking about how so super canon that is and how that stuff basically canonically happened...

It's just kind of staggering. To me it could not be more clear of a case of people needing their fanon to be "basically canon" so they can feel like they're justified for liking it and so they can justify alienating people who don't share the same headcanons as their illusionary majority

If this was a fairy tale, then this scene itself would be a defining moment between the girl and the boy who were supposedly the ones who would fall in love. Ah, but fairy tales were all such baloney. They weren't real, and as much as she loved the happy endings, none of it was her reality—even though she made her store look like a fairy tale cabin, it was just her way of keeping all the bad feelings away. It was obvious how her conduct changed the moment she stepped out of that dainty little store she made her whole world.

Still, Mirella forced herself to smile, even as the rain began coming down with more energy. With a light chuckle, she spun on her heel and gave Eliza a warm smile, leaning forward and tucking her hands behind her back as her wings tucked themselves away and disappeared as if they never existed to begin with, ❝ don't worry, I'm just kidding. ❞

Ok, so I've been watching Beavis and Butt-Head lately (I was born in 2001 with a mom who hated it. Give me a break), and while watching it with friends last night there was a part that I can't stop thinking about.

Basically, while watching a music video, Butt-Head exclaims something like: "I wish I could watch this over and over and over again." My gut reaction was "don't they have a VCR?" but then it dawned on me: "No! Of course they wouldn't have a VCR. What am I thinking!" For context, when I was growing up in the early 2000's, one of the cheapest and most cost effective ways of owning video content was by buying VHS' second-hand. I had a huge collection of movies growing up which my parents bought through a local re-seller. Others I would borrow from the library. A majority of homes had them as a part of their setup, often in tandem with a DVD player. This was the default I was familiar with for years before VHS fell completely from relevance. Meanwhile, this show came out in the early 90s and centers on what are clearly two low-income boys. Of course a VCR wouldn't be something just naturally available. You had to just hope something good would pop up on TV or in a movie theatre. If you're lucky you'll catch something you like getting replayed. I find this "dated" little throwaway dialogue so interesting because of the specific image it paints of the decade it came out. The limited accessibility of information and media, and how a large portion of it centered around the home television set. How exciting and invigorating it was seeing anything playing on there, because there was no telling when you will get an opportunity to see it again. I don't know. Maybe that is a little dramatic (especially for any one reading this who actually lived through the 90s), but it resonated with me a bit. It got me thinking about not only how much has changed in media-consumption, but how expansive and fast accessibility is now. How the television has diminished in relevance as a medium, and how little people seem to care about what they are watching.

For anyone wondering:

- the eternal wakestone you get for killing the sphinx is VERY misleading, it is a one time use only NOT reusable like the name suggests

- it costs 120k to get it duplicated BUT

- the copy doesn't work

So be careful when you use it. This is not a solution to the dragonsplague, so do watch out for signs that a pawn in your party is sick.

Practice good pawn care and regularly toss them off cliffs or into rivers.
