Bro you can't just make a forehead kissing post and NOT do the rest of the characters 😭🙏 /j
No but actually can you do the first years? I like to imagine all this started with a dare from one of them coughcoughACEcough and now Yuu's just going around sniping all their friends' foreheads with their lips
♡︎ You are right anon, I will redeem myself by doing all the characters.
♡︎ Includes: First Years
[Here]☆[Second years]☆[Third Years]☆[One final forehead kiss]☆[Extras]
The quest for giving everyone a forehead kiss began when you stumbled upon Ace, deeply engrossed in his thoughts. His hair danced in the gentle breeze, adding an extra layer of charm to his profile. Unable to resist, you tried to slowly approach him without making any sound, trying your best to catch him by surprise and when you came close enough to him you interrupted his daydreaming with a tender forehead kiss.
"What was that for?" he laughed, his response oozing with self-assurance. And to be fair his smug demeanour grated on your nerves, you just gave him a forehead kiss and he reacted like that? No, way! He needed a reality check!
"If you didn't appreciate it, I'll just find Deuce and shower him with forehead kisses instead!" you told him, enjoying the surprise in Ace's widened eyes. Unwilling to back down, he rolled his eyes and stood up.
"Go ahead! Kiss the entire school's forehead! See if I care." Those words struck a chord, prompting you to turn on your heel and leave him to his own devices. You were going to make him regret saying those words.
──── ⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ ────
⋆⋅☆Deuce:
As soon as you kiss his forehead, he becomes a mess. He touches the spot you just kissed, trying to form any coherent words. Just show him your forehead and tap it, as if telling him to kiss you back, he turns red but kisses you as quickly as he sees you gesture for him to kiss you, as if he always wanted to do that. His hand cups your face, tenderly caressing your cheeks without even thinking.
He daydreams about these moments for the next few weeks.
──── ⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ ────
⋆⋅☆Jack:
Feeling extremely embarrassed by the unexpected gesture, he avoids eye contact and looks everywhere but your face. After a while, he musters the courage to thank you, and then you both find yourselves in a silent, awkward moment. If you linger without leaving, he eventually gathers more courage and asks if you'd like a forehead kiss in return. If you agree, he gives you a quick kiss, followed by a gentle pat on the head.
──── ⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ ────
⋆⋅☆Epel:
Finds himself in an internal struggle, Epel wrestles with various thoughts. Does your gesture mean you see him as cute? Is it an affront to his masculinity? Does he need to step up his game? Swiftly, he decides to take action, pulling you by the waist and delivering a surprisingly passionate kiss. Once he's done, he turns as red as you, contemplating the consequences of his impulsive move.
──── ⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ ────
⋆⋅☆Ortho:
He is so happy with your forehead kiss that he starts to delve into an explanation of the significance behind various types of kisses. He proceeds to suggest the kinds of kisses you should bestow upon his brother. At this point, he's essentially delivering a lecture on the art of kissing. Idia passes behind the two of you and overhears the conversation, for the next week you can’t find him anywhere, he is way too embarrassed to show up in front of you.
──── ⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ ────
⋆⋅☆Sebek:
Grateful to the Seven for the unforgettable moment, Sebek cherishes your gesture, vowing to remember it for the rest of his life. Then he proceeds to tell you that your actions are obscene and that you shouldn't just kiss him like that out of nowhere. Throughout the week, he can't shake off the memory, and whenever he encounters you, he blushes, scowls, and quickly turns away, unable to contain his embarrassment.

I literally LOVE vampire reader. How would Logan react to the reader hanging upside down like a bat and their fangs are out???? (I really really love the concept of this idea msljxucjd AHHHHHHHH)
As your friendship grew, Logan believed he was finally getting used to your mutations. Throughout the many years he's lived, he has had many different experiences with vampire, there was never a relationship that blossomed with any of them, but fuck did he want one to grow with you.
He overheard you talking to Charles about needing the next week off, and he couldn't help but get curious. All he knew was that you requested a few extra blood bags and to be completely left alone until you came back.
Logan couldn't help himself, and he let his curiosity lead him to Charles to ask questions, but instead of answers he was given a lecture over easdropping, so he went to find you. When he did find you, you just gave him a soft smile and a shake of your head, "don't worry about it Wolvie, I just need to take care of somethings I'll be back for our plans Saturday."
Logan was a bit upset over the fact that you wouldn't tell him what you were having to do. Maybe he could help? He had witnessed you using your strength. He watched you break Colossus's hand. He had witnessed your help during sleepless nights. He just wanted to help you for once.
.
.
He didn't mean to intrude. He didn't mean to even find you! He had honestly forgotten all about you disappearing for the week. Well, he didn't forget he really was missing you, and this past week was shit for him, so he really could've used some time with you. It physically made his heart ache when he thought about how strong his feelings for you were. It's been so long since he cared about someone the way he cared about you, he didn't want to fuck things up but it was killing him to not be near you. Maybe I should just tell them?
He had been looking for his leather jacket when he remembered that he let you have it during the last outing the team had. "Dammit," he mumbles as he looks at your bedroom door, remembering how pretty you looked in his jacket. Your voice echoed through his head, reminding him that you asked to be completely alone for the week... but he'd be so quick! He just needed to grab his jacket. How long would that take? You wouldn't even know he ever intruded. He listened closely through your door, and he didn't hear any motion within the room. Maybe he had missed you? He could've sworn you told Charles you'd be in your room for the week. He shrugged and walked into your room to grab what he needed, but before he could, a soft gasp left his lips before he could hold it back.
He was met with you resting, hanging upside from your ceiling. Your mouth was open just enough for your fangs to glisten from the small ray of light coming from the hall now that the door was open. He was completely taken back from what he was seeing. Not only was he confused about you sleeping; I could've sworn they said they don't sleep? But you were the most beautiful sight he's ever seen in his long life. Logan took a step back and really took in your figure. "Fuckin' beautiful..." He mumbled to himself in complete awe. Before he could stop himself, his finger graced your cold cheek, and he allowed himself to prick his finger upon your fang.
Your eyes fluttered open as soon as you smelt blood. "Lo?" You asked groggy, your voice still completely filled with sleep. He says your eye colors change between your normal color and a bright red. You licked your teeth and groaned. "What are you? Did I bite you? My Gods, your blood tastes so sweet, " you whined, slightly confused. Logan blushed slightly, realizing he had just made you taste his blood. "I um... your fangs... they're, you're beautiful," He turned a brighter shade of red as he stumbled over his words.
You jumped down and stretched, "How long have you been in here? Aren't you old enough to know it's rude to stare?" You teasingly say as you grab one of the blood bags Charles provided for you. Logan cringed slightly, knowing he'd been caught, "I thought you don't sleep. Aren't you old enough to know it's rude to lie, sweetheart?" He smirked, feeling himself relax as he heard your laugh, "I don't need to sleep every night, just during the full moon" you stated while pointing towards your calendar, "it was this past week, what did you miss me or something?" You asked, winking at him. You felt a sense of pride start to form in your chest as you watched him blush again.
"You have no idea darlin', no fuckin idea"

WHEN- you leave them without release
...as it says, something comes up and you leave them rock hard...
Tighnari...xiao...gorou...ayato
Tighnari
You've stuffed an aphrodisiac mushroom in his mouth with has left him a drooling mess you fucked deep into him as he clawed your back while arching his own
Suddenly your akasha terminal let out a noise and you heard a message from your boss, it was something along the lines of not coming now or you'll be in big trouble
You roughened your pace as tighnari bit onto your shoulder drawing out blood, he soon came for the first time but as soon as you finished you rushed to go grab your things you mumbled about being back soon and quickly left
In his state tighnari couldn't quite understand your words, but soon, as his mind cleared a little he realized that you had just up and left! Leaving him still hot and bothered by the aphrodisiac!! He's about to run after you but the effects of the aphrodisiac are too strong and he falls flat on his ass
Be prepared for the lecture of your life because when you come back he's gonna give you an ear full! "ah- hey babe-" the glare he gives you shuts you right up now you're not afraid of many things- except when you're faced with a cock hungry tighnari
After he's done giving you an earful he makes you fuck him while he just lays on his back not moving a muscle!! But hey you owe him for leaving him like that!
Overstimulate him till he's crying "aw, baby why are you crying didn't you want this?"
Ayato
You don't get much time with ayato since he's always busy with work and stuff so when you finally do see each other you're both exhausted by the day and just fall asleep
But he was determined to push away the exhaustion to get some private time with you he was enjoying himself blindfolded and tied to the bed it had been a while since both of you had done something like this, it was good stress relief
The ropes weren't too tight yet if he really wanted to he could break them but he didn't he was your good boy after all
Suddenly a low knock was on the door you mumbled something like "one sec" and went ayato knew you would be back soon- and that you wouldn't let anyone into the room either, his delicate body is for your eyes to see and no one else's
But um... you're still not here.. it's been a couple of minutes but you're still not back, he's started to grow worried especially since he's rock hard with no clothing on and he's tied to the headboard of the bed
With minimal struggle, he's able to get himself out of his tied-up position, then he removes his blindfold ayato looks down and- he's still hard... Where the fuck are you
He puts on a silk robe to hide the obvious hard on and leaves his room in search of you roaming the halls he comes across thoma and decides to ask him about your whereabouts
"thoma, have you seen y/n by chance?" "ah my lord, yes, the people from fontain that we're supposed to arrive next week arrived earlier since they wanted to get lady ayaka's dress ready as soon as possible, my lady rushed to go and greet them since it would be disrespectful not to."
Archons, he can't believe this. This is the reason you left him in such a sorry state? God. You're such a workaholic
Be prepared to be ignored the rest of the day, when you come back he's laying down on the bed with his back to you you try shaking him and asking if he wants to continue but...no response 'maybe he's asleep...' leaving him alone you got in the bed and went to sleep
The next morning no matter how many times you tried talking to him he kept looking the other way, the next day he started making snide remarks whenever you tried spending time with him
' alright that's it tonight I'll make it up to him!" you made sure to shower and wear ayato's favorite fragrance he was giving you the cold shoulder- again he was pretending to have fallen asleep on his work table
You weren't going to be defeated this easily though so you grabbed him by the waist and lifted him up princess style, his eyes shot wide open "w-wha-... What are you doing y/n put me down!! What if someone sees" " I don't give a fuck if someone sees tonight is all about me and you." you exclaimed as you gently laid him on the bed "i-..um- a-alright...just, be gentle okay.." "alright"
You did not stay true to your word for long
Gorou
Poor poor gorou's heat is here but luckily you're here too!! And as his lover, it's your duty to fuck him through these rough times, is what he thinks
So as soon as you get home he's immediately clinging to you, his ears twitching and tail wagging as he desperately drags you too the bed
You were very amused with his desperation and how could you say no to his puppy face!
Things were getting steamy- fast as you were leaving apparent hickies on his exposed stomach while he moaned in euphoria
Soon a knock came from the door and before you could speak up a soldier spoke from the other side informing you that kokomi was urgently calling for you
Since this was something to do with the war you couldn't just not go so you told him you'll be there and got off gorou, who immediately noticed the weight of you leaving, but he was expecting you to go get some toys or lube or whatever so he didn't question you
You just assumed that gorou heard the soldier he didn't. And went rushing out of the tent to kokomi
A minute passed. Two. Then three, four, five, and soon it had been ten minutes since you left and gorou was left wondering, ' Where the heck are you??' he's left panting cuz his heat sure as hell isn't gone
He doesn't even try to make himself presentable and just goes out and to the nearest guard he sees "general gorou!...um are you okay you look a li-" "Where. Is. Y/n" "O-oh um- uh hah um- last I heard the divine priestess called for her-" Before he could even finish gorou stormed off leaving the poor guard in shambles
"So back to the topic at hand y/n-" Before Kokomo could even process her sentence the doors slammed open with a very annoyed-looking gorou "wha- gorou, babe why are-" " I get if you weren't in the mood but you could have at least got me my heat pills!!!" gorou was pissed.
"um- ill leave you guys to settle this lovers quarrel" Kokomo quickly rushed everyone and herself out since she did not want to be a third wheel
Safe to say it was good that she left since otherwise she would have witnessed gorou breaking his back while he stabbed his nails into your back making you bleed
You've advised gorou to cut his nails cuz for damn you were fricking bleeding with the scratches he left you! ...At least if someone saw that they knew you fucked good?
Xiao
It takes a lot of build up to get Xiao in the mood but it's always worth it, seeing his back arch while he claws at your back in ecstasy truly a sight to behold
You were on the couch xiao in your lap while you made out your hands were on his hips while his we're around your neck suddenly a knock came on the door and you both parted your lips and he panted in your lap "go sit on the bed xiao ill be back" you said quickly giving him one last kiss he shyly nodded while getting of your lap
You opened the door and it was the inn over verr "Did we make too much noise?" you asked getting straight to the point- or so you thought "wha- no why would there be noise- anyways a letter has come from the jade chamber saying there's been an emergency and you are needed"
"..fuck- um alright thanks verr" She left soon after wondering what 'noise' you were talking about
You quickly fixed yourself in the nearest mirror and yelled out to Xiao "Xiao! Somethings come up let's continue this after I come back" you yelled and then you rushed out the door assuming Xiao heard you...he didn't
Xiao waited and waited wondering what was taking you so long?? He stayed in the room for close to half an hour because he wanted to be your good boy but he just couldn't wait any longer so he looked his head out the door and saw...no one
After Xiao explores the entire house and doesn't find you he gets really embarrassed and teleports away he thinks he's done something wrong and you're mad at him!
When you finally do come back you see the whole house is empty with no Xiao insight
You call his name a few times to no answer it's when your voice starts to become panicked and desperate does he finally show up
"Xiao! Thank God I was worried- wait..have you been crying my love...?" you said noticing the red under his eyes as well as the wetness
"n-no.." he says in a broken tone which makes your heart shatter
You question him, to find out why and he finally spills telling you how it's because you left him! And he thinks he did something wrong! "aw..my darling you didn't do anything wrong something came up, that's why I left.." you kissed away any tears that threatened to spill from his pretty lashes "y-you mean..that...?" he asks you in such a gentle tone
"ya...come ill just show you how much a I mean that.." you grabbed his waist and pulled him into the bedroom
Next morning it's xiaos turn to be mad at you! You guys got a noise complaint from verr
"it's not like I was the one making noise.." he throws a pillow at you while you laugh at him "aw xiao you've gone all red..wanna go another rou-" y/n was never heard from again :)

It's me. hi i'm the problem it's me (aka here's another installment of Simon Riley's being...Simon Riley)
Dinner Party (gone wrong) edition
He will help you cook, mainly because he's jealous of the literal task of cooking for getting more attention than him for the past five hours- does he know what he's doing? No. But he does his best and lord knows he can and will happily follow orders.
Cleaning? he may seem a bit disgruntled at first but he will stand on the dining room table to clean the lights, and he'll clean the baseboards even though he keeps telling you no one is going to look at them-
Loves watching you cook, or more of he loves watching you do something you enjoy, you could be gardening, writing, reading, sewing- he loves seeing the shine in your eyes- so he does stare, not in a super creepy way but it catches your attention
"I can feel you staring at me."
"An?"
"And you're freakin me out-Oh! Since you're here can you go get the nice wine from the basement?"
"Got it, boss."
He tastes tests everything, it's an excuse to put his hands on you to keep himself still for a moment so therefore he is very eager to do so
As much as he 'loves' PDA (aka he tolerates it) around your supposed friends you've been so desperate to impress for the past two weeks, he can't stomach the idea of giving you any more than an awkward side hug in their presence
Dead stare? yeah, he stares at them from across the table, utterly baffled out they can outright judge your amazing cooking because like??? a free meal?
'It's overcooked' your ass is overcooked Jenni.
Yet he was shocked? you were just taking the harsh words and backhanded compliments with a smile and nod. You were better than him, he would've made some snarky remark already
"Your house is...so cozy." "The decor is very retro."
"Maxmilist but...not? I love it." "Mm, very seasoned."
"It's so... it's so you."
You were taking it, laughing it off and squeezing his hand every time he made any motion or even gave a look like he may snap back at them.
"I think...I think I did good steak- the steak is good right?" You whisper as you grab the wine from the rack in the kitchen- which he technically didn't have to follow you but it was probably for the better that he did. Tears stung your eyes and you were doing your best to breathe and not let a sound escape.
"I thought it was amazing, it was amazing-hey-baby," he grabbed your shoulders to keep you from going back and then very carefully moved to wipe the tear from your cheek, "Baby, how about we kick em out an' then we watch tha' movie in the theatre? I'll make them go away...do you want me to make them go away?"
"That-it would be so mean."
"Do you want them gone?"
It took two words to make the prestige get up out of the seats, 'get out.' however he would tell you he was very polite and told them you weren't feeling well suddenly, and they were very understanding.
He told you to not change, after all you were already dressed up as if for a date and so was he so it worked perfectly.
Sure the movie you chose was a reshowing of a 90's chickflic but he would take your laughter over anything else in the world-
and yeah he did all of the dishes because he felt like when you got home the only thing you needed todo was go to sleep and rest
Next time he would just have the boys come over (after a long lecture on manners for Johnny, will make that man sit through an online dinner manner course thingy)
(annnyway thats it <33 I love comments and feedback!)

could've been you: aizawa x reader x hawks
summary: You're the new teacher at UA with a rocky past with one of their beloved teachers, Shouta Aizawa aka Eraserhead. You'd rather never see him again but alas, such is life. You also meet Keigo, aka Hawks, who is the opposite of Aizawa. Smiley, golden retriever energy. Nothing could go wrong... right? relationships: aizawa x fem!reader, hawks x fem!reader warnings: some chapters will be NSFW, they will have a warning on them in bold.
TAG LIST:
@come-away-with-me87, @kxshdoll, @evilsanzu
CHAPTER FOUR
WARNING: SMUTTTTTTTTT
You and Aizawa watched the students as they sparred together. He strategically placed the students with each other, their partners having what they don't have. Whether it's patience, strategic skills, or being a team player, all of the matches work.
"Has Shoto ever said anything to you about his dad?" You lean back in the bleachers.
"Not really. He stays to himself a lot, but any time anyone ever mentions the new #1 hero, Todoroki rolls his eyes. Why?"
"Enji is trying to rebuild his relationships with his kids, and I have a feeling that one is gonna be tough to crack."
"You and Endeavor are close?" Aizawa sounded genuine.
"You could say that. He does tell me a lot about his past, and all of the mistakes he's made. One of them being so hard on Shoto."
All Aizawa does is nod as he continues to watch the students. "You know, about our past-" He began to speak.
"What about it?" You turn to look at him, your mind getting lost in his dark chocolate brown eyes.
"I, I've always -" He turned his knees towards you as he spoke.
"MR. AIZAWA BAKUGO IS GOING TO KILL MIDORIA!" Iida ran to the bleachers. "I'M NOT SURE WHAT HAPPENED BUT BAKUGO IS ABOUT TO EXPLODE. LITERALLY."
You and Aizawa immediately jump onto the ground to find the pair. Bakugo looks like he wants to destroy anything in his path. Aizawa turned into Eraserhead to stop him from going any further.
"You got off easy because they're here." Bakugo said to Midoria. "Whatever your quirk is, mine is better and I WILL beat you."
"Um... okay." You press your hands to Midoria's shoulders. "Midoria, why don't you take a breather." You turn to look at Midoria, who is a bit shorter than you. His eyes are big and glossy, like he's about to cry. He nods and turns to go to the bleachers.
You turn your attention to Aizawa. He's lecturing Bakugo with his back to you. Your eyes scan over his body - his broad shoulders, muscular arms, smaller waist, and his long legs. His wavy hair was pushed back against his goggles.
You caught yourself staring a bit too long.
Shit.
What is this feeling?
_______________________
For the rest of the week you tried your best to focus on planning out your classes. After all, next week you'll be on your own.
You also avoided Aizawa. You would leave class before him, and leave your room after him in the morning so you wouldn't have to talk to him.
You had some feeling in your stomach when you looked at him. A feeling that was unwanted by your brain, but your heart continued.
Keigo, however, you have not been avoiding. You had fun when you hung out with him. Actual fun. He's very sweet and takes note of everything you say.
He also made it a habit to call you during your lunch every day.
"So I was thinking we could go out on a date tomorrow night." Keigo said as you pressed the phone between your ear and shoulder.
"Where were you thinking?" You open your container, mixing your salad with your fork.
"I was thinking we could do dinner downtown and then talk a walk around the park. It should be a nice night out."
"Pick me up at 7." You smile and take a bite of your caesar salad. "No flying, though. I don't want to get sick."
"Aw come on, I wanted to show you how high I can go."
"Fine." You roll your eyes, flickering your gaze up to the tall man in front of you. "I'll see you tomorrow." You hang up the phone.
"You've been avoiding me." Aizawa sat down across from you in the teachers lounge.
"I would never do touch a thing." You placed your hand on your chest. "You're my absolute favoriteeeee person, why would I do that?!"
"I don't know." He placed his arms on the table in front of him. "Is the bird telling you not to talk to me?"
"Shouta why would you say something so stupid." You dug your fork in your food. "I don't belong to anyone, so I can talk to whoever I want and if Kiego ever even suggest that I don't talk to a particular person, he will no longer be in my life."
"Mm." He nodded, watching you put your fork in your mouth, your lips wrapping around the utensil. You take note of his eyes on your lips, but you don't say anything.
You want to see how far you can get him. How much you can make him... want you.
You can't even deny it anymore. The thought of Aizawa getting turned on by you gets you turned on.
You're single. You can date whoever you want. However many men you want.
You purposely got some dressing on your lips and didn't wipe it off. Knowing that Aizawa would point it out.
"You have dressing on your face." He leaned back in his chair and crossed his arms over his chest.
"Oh! Thank you." You pull out a compact mirror and dip your finger in the spot with the dressing, then sliding your index finger in your mouth to lick off the dressing.
Aizawa watched as your full lips wrapped around your index finger. His eyes scanned your dainty hands, your baby pink almond shaped nails perfectly manicured. He's careful not to show too much emotion, but he can't help the excitement growing in his pants.
"Oh, lunch is over. I'm gonna go train a bit, I feel a bit rusty." You stand up quickly and shove your lunch container in your bag. "See you Monday, Eraser."
___________________________
You decided on a white square cut crop top with straight leg jeans that fit you just right, accentuating your curves. Paired with your white platform converse and gold accessories - you were ready.
You stared at yourself in the mirror, making sure your hair is in place and your makeup is just the way you like it. Clear lip gloss topped the entire look off, leaving you looking juicy and glowy.
At 7 on the dot, there was a knock at your door. Keigo was wearing a black shirt with a black jacket, similar to the one he wears with his hero uniform. His wings are on full display - you can tell he takes great care of them. They're shiny and voluminous.
"You look beautiful as usual." Keigo pulled a bouquet of flowers from behind his back. Two dozen red roses. "More beautiful than these flowers."
"Keigo, you are so sweet." You grab the fur lining of his jacket, pulling him closer to you. You pressed your lips against his, to his surprise. The smell of roses flooded your nostrils as you kissed him with a mix of his sandalwood cologne. "Let me put these in a vase before we go." You turn and walk back into your apartment.
You place the vase in the middle of your kitchen island, making sure there's enough water. "Okay. Ready." You pull your purse over your shoulder and walked to Keigo in the doorway.
He held out his hand for yours, his fingers intertwining with yours. "You ready to fly?"
"Ready as I'll ever be."
Keigo took you in his arms bridal style and took flight. His wings allow him to gain height at insane speeds - your mind almost coun't comprehend it. Your grip on him tightened as you got higher.
"It's okay. I'm not going anywhere." Keigo kissed the top of your head. "Open your eyes."
Reluctantly, you opened your eyes and saw the night sky. You were in the clouds, the stars shining above you.
"Wow, this is breath taking." You leaned your head on his shoulder. You felt his hands tighten around your legs, his thumbs grazing your skin.
"This is how I feel when I'm with you." His eyes analyzed your face as he spoke. You tilted your head up to meet his eyes, letting your mouths crash together. Your hand presses against his cheek as you deepen the kiss with your tongue. You hear his breath hitch as your tongue dances with his.
"We can't do this up here. I can't promise I can stay focused on flying." He pecked your lips quickly before he started the descent back to the ground.
The rest of the date was great. You and Keigo always have fun together and this time was no different. Laughs and smiles are mandatory when you spend time together.
He would steal kisses during dinner when you weren't expecting it. It was adorable.
Keigo is incredibly sweet, caring, kind, and outwardly shows his interest in you. He's what you need.
When the date was over and it was time to drop you off at your place, you didn't want the night to end.
"Do you want to come in?" You lean your back against the door. Your voice was low, almost a whisper, and your mouth formed into a smirk.
"I'm not sure I'll want to leave if I go in." He leaned in, hovering his lips over yours.
"It's not a school night." You tilt your head up to graze his lips. He held himself back from attacking your lips right then and there. You turn your key into your door and grabbed his hand, bringing him into your place.
Keigo wasted no time taking off his jacket and taking you in his arms. You wrapped your legs around his waist as his lips attached to yours. He was so needy, which you love. His hands planted on your plump ass as he walked to your bedroom.
Giving it a squeeze before laying you down on your bed, he left kisses on your neck down to your chest. Your buried your hands in his hair as he kissed every inch of your chest.
His lips sucked on various spots on your chest as his hands pulled your shirt down inch by inch until your nipples were revealed. "May I?"
You only nod, your hands almost cradling his head as he attached his lips to your hard nipple. He took one hand to the other tit, kneading it gently as he sucked on the nub.
You could feel your panties soaking at this point. Keigo likes to take his time and enjoy every inch of you. But you wanted him now, at this moment.
It's been years since you've had sex. But you haven't felt like this in... a long time. The heat from your desire taking over your brain.
"Kei," You moan softly as his wings expand.
"Yes?" His honey eyes are magnets to yours.
"I need you." You held yourself up but your forearms as you watch him slide his shirt over his head and wings. His abs were shining from the slight sweat leading down to his pants.
"These need to come off too." You pulled on his jeans.
"Are you sure? We don't have to. I don't want you to feel-"
"Keigo." You pressed his chin between your thumb and index finger so he had to look at you. "I said I need you."
Without another word his pants were off along with yours. You're both only in your underwear at this point but you can see his thick cock outline through the fabric.
He pulled his length out of his boxer briefs. Your eyes grew wide at his size, he wasn't overly big but he is thick.
"Do you have condoms?" His body hovered over yours.
"Yes." You grab the box out of your nightstand and pull one out, handing it to him. He slid it on quickly before kissing your lips gently.
"We don't have to do this."
"Keigo, I want to. Stop worrying." You hook your finger onto the lace of your underwear to pull them down.
He positioned himself in front of your soaking entrance. He locked his eyes with yours as he gently, inch by inch, slid his length into you.
Your pussy was wet and tight around his cock as it adjusted to his size. Your eyes rolled back as Keigo watched his length disappear inside of you.
Once he was all the way in, he developed his rhythm. His left arm was next to your head as he thrusted into you, his bicep caging you in. You bring your hand to the back of his head and tangle your fingers in his honey locks. He loved when you touched his hair - it made him want to pound into you even more.
"Fuck, Kei." Your pussy clenched around him. Your other hand landed on his back, your nails dragging along his skin leaving scratch marks. His strokes were deep as he almost slammed into you. He's quiet when he fucks apparently because you were the only one talking.
His pace quickened as he earned moans from your lips. He planted his mouth on your neck, sucking and biting simultaneously. There were no kisses, this man was straight up marking you.
You feel his cock twitch inside of you when he pounds into your pussy, assumingely because he's close. The thought of him coming sends your brain on a high. Your gummy walls pulsate around him as you came undone around him. He's still thrusting into you, focused on your face.
He kissed your lips roughly as he thrust into you one last time. He moans your name, finally speaking as he reaches his high.
He's still inside of you as you both come back down to earth. He reluctantly slides his cock out, then taking off the rubber.
He comes back from the bathroom with a towel as he lays next to you. No words were exchanged, but he was all smiles. He patted your sweaty skin with the towel as he kissed your forehead.
"Baby bird, you're gonna be the end of me."

Trying
A/N: Written for @the-slumberparty's December Daze Challenge.
Prompt: here, take my jacket.
A/N2: Follow up to this ask. Takes place in the same town as What's Mine. Reader is female, no other physical descriptors used.
Warnings: Controlling behaviors, Implied smut, Non/dubious consent. Let me know if I missed any!
Within the first week of Steve finding you, he'd replaced all of your clothes with ones he liked. Dresses and skirts that gave him easy access. Low cut shirts that did nothing to hide the tattoo he'd made you get when you were first together, marking you as his. He threw out all of the foods he thought weren't good "for a mother-to-be" including the coffee. And if you even looked at a bottle of alcohol Steve would give you a lecture on being careful for the baby's sake. Never mind that every pregnancy test had turned up negative so far.
Not for lack of trying, though. Steve had been making good on his promise to get you pregnant, to give you the kids you'd once told him you wanted. As many times as you pleaded for mercy, he seemed insistent on making up for lost time. It would be sweet if it were wanted.
You wake up from a nightmare only to find yourself living in one. Steve slumbers next to you, gently snoring. There was a time you would have stuck around, adoring how handsome he looks. But now your only thought is getting away from him, even if it's just for a minute.
As sore as you are from Steve's attempts at breeding you, it surprises you that you're able to walk. You make it to the kitchen, eager for a warm drink, and have to fight back tears when you remember that you're not even allowed hot cocoa. You grab a packet of hot apple cider mix and brew that up for yourself instead. When it's done, you walk out the to porch and have a seat, trying to enjoy the cool weather with a warm drink.
The weather is colder than expected but you don't mind. It matches the coldness you feel in your heart. Well, that's not entirely true; you're also burning up with guilt. You genuinely thought this small town would be beneath Steve's notice, that it would be a safe place for you. You never intended for him to follow you, much less bring his entire gang with him.
The poor librarian, especially, got the raw end of the takeover. Bucky and Steve were all smiles when they introduced you two, as if you hadn't already known her. Steve's told you several times how happy he is that Bucky's got himself a girl and is settling down. You're just glad she has yet to lash out at you for cursing her with Bucky. The two of you have yet to be left alone so you can't express this, but you hope your body language conveys how sorry you are.
You hear your name roared and you nearly drop your empty mug.
"I'm out front, Steve," you call out. You can't go back in yet. The fresh air is all that's helping with your sanity.
Steve storms out the front door soon after. "What the hell, Bunny?! Do you have any idea how scared I was when I woke up and you weren't there? I practically had a heart attack!"
"I'm sorry, Steve," you sniffle. "I just...I'm not yet used to being back together again. I'll try to remember. I'm so sorry."
He softens a little at the tears forming in your eyes. "You left me once before and I went on a rampage thinking someone had stolen you. You can't just leave me alone in bed anymore, Bunny."
"I am sorry, Stevie."
He smiles at the nickname. You were the only person ever allowed to call him that. You're glad it seems to have the effect of calming him even further. He heads inside for a moment and comes back out with this coat.
"Here, take my jacket," he gently orders. "Can't have my girl getting sick, especially if she's carrying our baby."
"I...I do need to ask..." you hesitate as you put the jacket on. It's the only thing that's allowed to cover up your tattoo. "What happens if I can't have kids?"
Steve sighs as he sits next to you. He gently maneuvers you so that you're sitting on his lap and he pushes your head down to rest on his shoulder. "Is that why you've been so stressed out lately?"
"Part of it," you admit. You don't dare tell him the full truth.
"If it turns out we can't have kids, we'll look at adoption."
"Not a surrogate?"
"Not exactly. Bucky's offered to knock up his girl and let us adopt the kids."
You're frozen in shock. You know Bucky can be cruel but this felt like a new low for him.
"Why not just knock her up yourself?" you blurt out.
"Ah, so that's what you're actually worried about." You're not sure what he's talking about but you stay silent. "Bunny, no one could ever replace you. I know you didn't leave because I was too controlling, you're smart enough to know I was keeping you safe. You were scared I'd get tired of you, not want you anymore. I saw how you looked at some of the girls at the bars. I promise, I never gave them a second look after you came into my life. You're it for me, Bunny." He gives you a gentle squeeze to emphasize his sincerity.
You feel numb. All that work to get away from him and he still found you, still took over your life. And he's promised to always be there to control you. You let the tears fall, hoping he'll see them as tears of relief instead of despair. He gently rubs your cheek and alternates coos and kisses to your forehead.
"Let's get you back to bed," he smiles. "Your period tracker thing says you're not ovulating yet, but you never know. Besides, Bucky's foaming at the mouth to knock up his girl." Your brows knit in confusion. "Years ago Bucky and I agreed our kids would grow up together. But whoever found their girl first got to have the first kid. The sooner you make me a dad, the sooner Bucky gets to become one."
"That's--" you stop yourself short of calling him insane. You know it wouldn't go well for anyone. "That sounds like fun. It's nice to know I won't be alone in pregnancy troubles. And I'm sure our kids will be natural friends."
Steve's smile grows. "That's my Bunny. Now lets get back inside so we can keep trying."

hello! im not sure if your requests are open rn, but could you maybe write a drabble about satan cutting mc's hair? something like satan being nervous but mc reassuring them through out. gn!mc in particular. (i requested this from someone else but they're inactive rn. so i decided to request it from you instead, hope you dont mind 🙏). thank you in advance if you do!
Hello! Thanks for your request and I certainly don't mind. It was really cute writing this so I hope you enjoy it.
Summary: MC asks Satan to help them cut their hair which he is nervous about but MC reassures him.
Contains: Fluff
GN!MC x Satan
You can find more of my work here: Masterlist
Nervous Satan cutting MC's hair.
It was a regular day in the Devildom. As lively as ever. It seemed like the brother's squabbles were endless. Today Mammon had stolen a limited edition figurine from Levi's room and sold it for profit. To which Levi got so mad that he ended up summoning Lotan which of course frustrated the rest of the family as well. After a few long hours of cleaning the house from the flood and listening to everyone's constant complaining along with Lucifer's endless lectures to the third-born you were exhausted.
As you were changing into your pyjamas, ready for bed suddenly you noticed the length of your hair. It seemed exceptionally long. You didn't mind the length and would gladly leave it as it is but the ends were pretty damaged. They were split and dry. You decided it was time for a haircut. Though the problem was that it was too late for any hair salon to be open and your schedule was pretty busy the next few days so you couldn't go. The only choices you had were to whether cut it yourself or have someone cut it for you. You were too scared to cut it yourself since there was a big chance you would mess it up so the only choice was to have somebody cut it for you.
You walked into the living room, hoping to find at least one of the brother who you could trust to cut your hair and luckily one of them was peacefully sitting on the couch with his legs crossed and a book in hand. His long fingers were flipping page after page so elegantly it could leave you memorized. A strand of his blond hair had fallen in front of his eyes but he didn't seem to mind. Instead he just continued to read.
MC: "Satan?"
The demon lifted his head and looked at you with annoyance in his eyes. Though that immediately changed upon recognising you. A smile tug on his lips as he set his book down.
Satan: "Hey there, MC. Can't sleep?"
MC: "Actually I was about to when I noticed that my hair needs a trim. And I was wondering whether you could help me?"
Satan: "Me? Are you sure I'm suitable for that kind of thing? Why not ask Asmo instead? I'm sure he knows how to handle that kind of stuff."
MC: "I assume Asmo would be sleeping by now. You know what he says. "Lack of sleep damages your skin". Plus I can't trust anyone else with that type of thing."
Satan: "Hm.."
MC: "I mean.. I'm not forcing you.. I could always go see if Lucifer is willing to help if you don't want to.."
Upon hearing that forsaken name Satan lifts himself out of his thoughts and shakes his head.
Satan: "I'll do it. I can't let Lucifer do such a thing when you asked me to do it now can I?"
And so you found yourself sitting in a chair with the fourth-born behind you with scissors in his hand. He had already brushed your hair straight and put some water on it so it's a bit humid and easier to work with. Since that's what he's read in books.
Even when everything was set up and ready to go the demon just wouldn't touch your hair. It was obvious that he didn't put much trust in his abilities as a hairdresser.
After a moment he left the scissors aside.
Satan: sigh "I can't do it. I don't want to mess up and ruin your hair."
MC: "Sataann! Don't say stuff like that! You won't mess up. I trust you."
Satan: "But what if I do? You'd probably end up being mad at me and give me the silent treatment for a week."
MC: "That wouldn't happen.. even if things don't go as planned I wouldn't blame you."
You reach for his hand and gently take it in yours.
MC: "I trust you, Satan. And don't worry. I would never get mad at you."
Satan's eyes light up and he smiled softly.
Satan: "You're too generous, MC. But thank you. I shall try.."
The demon reached back for the scissors and grabbed a portion of hair. You half already told him the length that needed to be cut so it shouldn't be a problem. Though his hands were trembling once again.
MC: "Satan, calm down. I know you can do it. Believe in yourself. Just as I believe in you."
Satan nodded and took a deep breath before cutting. You could see the fear in his eyes as he did so in his reflection in the mirror. After another shaky breath the demon continued. You made sure to praise him and tell him how well he was doing throughout the entire thing. And after a few minutes your new haircut was done! The dead ends were cut, covering the floor. You saw Satan's smile in the reflection as he admired his handiwork.
Satan: "It looks great."
MC: "I knew you could do it, Satan!"
The demon wrapped his arms around your shoulders, burying his face into the crook of your neck as he whispered in a deep voice.
Satan: "Thank you for putting so much trust in me, my love.. I would've never done it without you encouraging me."

Not that he cares..or anything - Tim Bradford X fem!reader 2/?
Summary: After being released from the hospital Tim is quick to make sure you’re taken care of with a place to go..even if that’s his house, but don’t get it wrong now lovelies..it’s not that he cares about you..or anything.. ;)
Warnings: past mentions of being shot, PTSD flashbacks for you and Bradford, Tim crying..a lot..panic attacks, mentions of killing somebody, guilt and regret of killing a ‘suspect’
After being released from the hospital, you didn't really have anywhere to go, but you knew you needed clothes, all your belongings, etc. While everybody offered to go with, you knew it needed to be done on your own. Tim knew better, through his year of training and chasing you around, he knew you were stubborn and wanted to do things on your own no matter the pain it caused you, so he followed you, waiting outside for you to come out. Anxiety sank in whenever he realized you hadn't come out in over twenty minutes.
As you entered your hallway you felt every muscle in your body tighten, falling against the wall, desperate to catch your breath as the memories flashed freshly in your brain, you could feel your pain all over again. As Tim walked inside he heard your cries, trying to push down his own PTSD to find you. You screamed as you felt hands on your body, attempting your training to take down the threat, but this time the 'threat' easily grabbed your hands holding them in front of you "Y/n, y/n, It's Tim, you're okay, nobody is trying to hurt you, I won't allow them" he whispered, you immediately let yourself fall into his arms, wrapping your own around him "I can't do it! I c-can't be here!" You sobbed, he held onto you tightly, not letting you fall once, he had made a promise to himself, he'd never let you fall, and if you did? he'd be there.
Tim never realized he was crying until he finished packing your clothes, he had sent you to his truck, knowing it'd be easier for him to grab your things than it would be for you, before he realized it the sadness turned into anger, which turned into having to pull his fist out of your hallway wall, where your blood stain was still splattered. He couldn't help it, what if he had been a minute later? What if you died? "Tim.." You whispered standing in the doorway, your body shaking like a scared puppy, but standing your ground to get your friend from the home. "I..I didn't think about a place to go" You mumbled disappointed "Don't talk like that, you're staying with me" He whispered carrying your bag to you sighing "I also got your side table contents" He whispered smirking resting a hand on your shoulder leading you back to the truck as your cheeks went bright red with embarrassment "It was..clean" You mumbled, not wanting to look him in the eye "I would assume" He chuckled "You can have my bed, I'll take the couch" he explained driving to his house "After I go back to work next week I'll take an extra break to take you to any appointments or to check on you" He spoke parking in his usual parking spot.
"I can't take your bed! It's huge!" You gasped flopping down onto it "Oh my God it's like a cloud" You whispered, Tim rushed over, ghosting his hands over your gunshot wound "Careful!" He lectured looking at your shirt back to you "I don't want you bleeding everywhere" He basically whined, you rolled your eyes sitting up watching as he started grabbing your clothes he had packed "What're you doing?" You asked suspiciously "Getting you night clothes, you need to shower because one you smell like a hospital and it stinks, two we gotta change that bandage before you go to bed" He explained nonchalantly, you couldn't help but watch in awe, nobody cared for you that much other than your great grandmother who passed whenever you were still a kid.
"Come on, rookie" Tim encouraged softly as he helped you off of the bathroom counter where he was re-applying your bandages, you gripped his hand tightly in pain, trying to hold back tears, but ultimately failing "Hey, hey, I've got you, let's get you in bed with some pain killers" he encouraged helping you lay down, he wiped your tears helping you take your meds. You laid in bed for what felt like hours, before the door slowly opened shining light in "I can't sleep" You heard Tim whisper "I-I can't..I keep seeing you..lying there.." You could hear the unsteadiness in his voice, like he was on the verge on crying, or had already been crying. He made his way in, sitting down next to you, taking his spot next to you on the bed but still leaving some distance between you. "I-I can't convince myself that you're here..or alive..I just keep seeing your blood" He whispered, you could see in the darkness the way he was staring into the distance, you took the opportunity to close the space and hug him tightly "I'm alive, because of you, Tim" You said, he quickly wrapped his arms around you holding you tight.
It was a few hours before actual reality hit you, you had killed a man, maybe you could’ve handled things differently, de-escalated, maybe if you would’ve never grabbed your gun after he shot you he never would’ve had to die, you didn’t want to kill him though, you were always taught to neutralize the threat to your life in the academy and training, but you never thought you’d actually have to shoot to kill. You didn’t realize you had slowly moved out of bed, now sitting on the back porch trying to stifle your sobs, you felt like this was all your fault, you could’ve done something, your roommate never deserved to die, he just had some issues but everybody had issues. Goosebumps were proudly presenting themselves on your skin, the cold night air blowing against your body violently. “Y/n?..why’re you out here?” Tim asked, seeing your curled up body in the corner of the porch fencing “it’s freezing, it can’t be good for your body right now” he protested walking over wrapping the throw blanket he had been using around your shoulders, lifting you to your feet before feeling your body shake with sobs. “Hey hey, what’s going on? Are you hurt? Y/n come on talk to me” he demanded, you could barely understand what he was saying he was speaking so quickly, but you just walked with him towards the kitchen.
“Tim, I killed someone..I-i shouldn’t have a badge or be a cop” you whimpered looking down at your hands “hey! You did what you had to. You were just following your training and protocol, there was a threat to your life and you took out that threat do you understand me?” His voice was stern, rough almost, but his gaze on you was nothing but caring and sweet. “H-he dropped the gun the minute he shot me..I-i could’ve just..waited for back up-“ he cut your ramblings off “and what? Him to get spooked and take out an on-duty cop? Take out me?” He asked you, not letting up that you were not in the wrong. “He wouldn’t-“ Tim wouldn’t let you finish any excuse you thought of “he would’ve. He would’ve been spooked the second we busted in, y/n. Listen you did the right thing, you followed protocol to a point, I just..I should’ve listened to you whenever you were trying to tell me about him, I just thought it was another one of the stories you tell to fill the silence of the shop..” he whispered hugging you tightly, you accepted the hug gratefully holding onto his arms tightly.
You both ended up just sitting on the couch until sunrise, Tim telling you about the first time he shot someone as a rookie, how it affected him for months, how he got through it, and all it did was help you realize not only that maybe you weren’t as in the wrong as you thought, but also that you were really grateful for Tim Bradford, and from what you’ve heard from Lucy, he was happy to have you as part of his team. You woke up the next morning to everything in your body hurting, not understanding why until you realized you and Tim both had tried to squeeze yourselves on the sofa together, poor Tim hanging halfway off the ledge of the couch, his arms wrapped tightly around you. You weren’t sure if it was for you, or for him to keep himself from falling, but you stayed there, afraid any certain movement might wake up, you knew he was an veteran and with the things he sees in the LAPD, you understood that waking up sometimes could be a spook, especially being so close to someone.
Tim did end up waking up with a startled jump, not remembering how he ended up on the couch in the first place, the last thing he remembered was talking with you about what you two were going to accomplish whenever you got back to work. He took in your frame, your back facing towards him as you counted the threads on the couch cushions, he coughed awkwardly, an attempt to get your attention “are you..counting my threads?..” he asked groggily trying to shriek his eyes from the sun as he sat up to get a better view of your face, that was turning red as a tomato “w-well I- I didn’t want to wake you up by moving b-but I also didn’t want to be creepy and watch you sleep so I-i just-“ he cut you off by smiling at you to your surprise, you thought he’d at least call you weird. “You’re fine, get up let’s get that bandage changed and get you to the doctor, see about getting those stitches out and getting you into work appointed physical therapy” he said standing up, stretching his arms above his head, you couldn’t help but check out his bare chest, you never got a good look in the hospital.
His abs were what you believed every girl and woman’s dream would be, his V line was prominently showing above the waistline of his boxers and night pants, it was like he was sculpted by the gods themselves. “L/n, come on up and at em” he said snapping you out of your obvious staring contest with his torso “S-sorry” you muttered shyly rushing to your feet.
There shall be a part three my lovelies with some smut hidden somewhere in future parts ;)

best friend hanamaki who told mattsun about his feelings one weekend while you were away visiting your family.
best friend hanamaki who internally died when the first thing mattsun said to you when you came back was "makki's in love with you"
best friend hanamaki who took a while to process what just happened before finally telling you that it wasn't a joke after you thought it was for aminute.
best friend hanamaki who dramatically hugged mattsun instead of you when you said you had feelings for him too. this was because he probably wouldn't have told you himself.
best friend hanamaki who properly asks to be your boyfriend after mattsun goes for a walk to give you guys some space.
best friend hanamaki who is now boyfriend hanamaki who staged a 'breakup' with matsukawa when he came back because his heart now belonged to another.

I've been writing my dissertation like that gif of the cat frantically slamming a keyboard (you know the one) but it's got me thinking about professor Bucky and how he might incentivise you to get your work done for his class 😏
"You're not getting an extension. Don't even think about e-mailing me for one." The hardest part of dating your lecturer isn't actually the sneaking around; it's that he's a hell of a lot tougher on you than the rest of the class.
"But Bucky I-" You begin but he cuts you off and you know by the look on his face that there's no point pressing it.
"No. You're more than capable and you've got plenty of time to get it done. You don't need an extension, you need to apply yourself."
God, he's annoying. You know you can do it, you never said you couldn't. You just don't want to. There's a massive difference.
He pulls his copy of the required reading out of his bag, setting it on the desk beside your laptop and it takes everything in you not to bury your head in your hands.
"There. I've helped you enough." He nods towards the textbook but when you don't move, he flicks through the pages with a sigh, leaving it open at the chapter you know you should start with.
You sit there for another few seconds in a foul mood, mentally preparing yourself to sit here for the next few hours.
"How about I help you? I get the impression you need an incentive." He knows you too well, there's nothing more motivating than a little treat. "You have 12,000 words to write. For every 1,000 you write this week, I'll give you an orgasm."
Maybe you should complain about his assignments more often.
"Deal." Hell, if you'd known this was coming, you'd have started ages ago.
"Good girl." He laughs, amused at the rate at which your fingers begin to dance over the keyboard.
Getting started isn't too hard. You type out a quick plan of your chapters, dropping in the sources you know you'll need before starting your introduction and with your focus on your work, you hardly notice Bucky sinking to his knees under the desk.
You feel his warm, open mouthed kisses trailing up your thighs under your skirt and his soft groans drag your attention away from the laptop.
"Don't stop working." He insists, licking your sex through your cotton underwear, letting you enjoy the delicious friction on your cunt. "You're almost at the first thousand and it reads well so far." You feel his hot breath against the now wet cotton while one of your hands falls to tug his hair.
"If you stop typing, I stop licking." He threatens, pulling your panties to the side, gliding his tongue against your skin and groaning at the taste of your arousal.
You have just over 200 words until you reach your first thousand and it should be so easy but it becomes even harder when he sinks two fingers into you and you're able to hear how wet you are already.
His lips engulf your clit, sucking gently while flicking his tongue in vertical strokes in time with his fingers curling inside you. "Such a smart girl. I'm so proud of you." He hums before giving you a few broad strokes with a flat tongue.
He knows what his praise does to you and with your thighs clamped around his head, you fly your way through a few hundred more words. He chuckles when you proudly announce you reached a thousand but you don't stop typing at the same frantic pace.
"Sweetheart, if you want to get all 12,000 done this evening, I'll sit here as long as it takes." He smiles against your skin before giving you everything he knows you need. His tongue flicks quickly over your clit and his fingertips rub against the soft, spongy spot inside you and in no time you're gushing against his face, gripping his hair and riding your high out on his waiting tongue.

ateez as college bfs during finals
it's my finals week and head hurty but crazy form good hnngjdnjgnjdf
hongjoong
will help you study but only if you bribe him a little
it's not that he wants to see you fail
he definitely does not want that
but at the same time
you would most likely do just fine studying on your own
he has a sneaking suspicion you just want to bother him
it's not until you bring out the "I'll do whatever you want for the next two weeks" that he's quick to agree
would he use this promise to his advantage? absolutely
hongjoong would help you study but then once you pass (you'd definitely pass with his help), he'd be quick to make you buy him food or pass him the blanket that is literal inches away from him
if you want to pass, you could also guilt trip him into helping you study by saying you'll just go to your TA
who's a man..
your same age...
hongjoong is real quick to whip out the flash cards after that
unless you give him a hard time, then he'll personally take you to the TA's room himself
7/10- would help you study but is all the work he would make you do after worth it?
debatable
seonghwa
absolute king
would drop everything to help you in the blink of an eye
he's got the studying playlists on youtube
anything you want to listen to, he's got it
lofi? yup. asmr? check. dark academia aesthetic? absolutely
color coded notes, flashcards, practice quizzes up and running
can seem a bit overwhelming at first but seonghwa gives me the vibes that he would just know you so well
and therefore he would know what type of studying or work environment you thrive in
and you're his baby, he wants to see you succeed :((
if you ever get frustrated or overwhelmed, seonghwa would 100% have your favorite drink and snack ready
some coffee to stay awake? whatever u need, some tea to relax? bet, he's got the honey and everything
your number 1 hype man frfr
10/10 need him in my life
yunho
honestly, also really good to have around during finals
strikes me as the type of bf to kind of sit with you and also silently work alongside you so you don't feel lonely
does that thing when you're writing a paper or smth and you look up to think of the word you want to use and the two of you make eye contact and he'll send you a wink and a big smile
little motivations yaknow
would also definitely use the pomodoro method
has a timer on his phone for every 45 minutes and when the time is up he'll gently shut your computer and grab your hands and just chat
would be the best person to bounce ideas of off
"yuyu, should I say this or this?"
and he would give genuine feedback
if you need help studying for an exam, yunho might not know all the answers but you can bet he would be right there with you watching videos of people working out the problems
gives you little high fives when you both get it
9/10 might get occasionally distracted by his beautiful blinding smiles but honestly a pretty solid study partner
yeosang
mans is just there to vibe and honestly same
i dont wanna say he has absolutely no clue what's going on
because he does listen to you and he does pay attention when you talk about your classes
but at the same time, he doesn't really give me the vibes he would be as great at studying as some of the others
more there for moral and emotional support than anything
might feel bad he can't be of more help so he tries his best to listen to your lectures if you're at home, but man, it sounds like a different language somebody save him
would definitely make sure you're eating and resting well though
"sweetheart I think it's time to take a break"
"yeosang I just need to finish a few more problems :("
"you can do it after you eat something, it'll be easier to finish with a clear head and a full tummy"
crying screaming throwing up
would otherwise leave you to your devices tbh
doesn't want to distract you but also doesn't want you to be completely alone in case you forget to take care of yourself
8/10 man is doing his absolute best and we love him for it
san
honestly this could go one of two ways
he could either be the most serious, hella studious mf you've ever met
or he could be the most unserious, menacing bitch you've ever met
it all depends on his mood
serious san is in the mf ZONE
he's got the glasses on, he has his notes out, comfy sweater and gray sweats ON
ready to give you a mom look every time you get distracted
at one point you'd probably try to play footsies with him and he just kinda stares at you over the top of his glasses with one eyebrow raised and you just slowly return your gaze to your work
that being said
glasses ON, sweats ON, absolute fucking menace
teasing you fs
maybe not even like in a sexual manner, just tickling you and cracking stupid jokes because he wants your attention
WILL kiss your neck and tell you "you're so smart baby, you're going to pass no matter what"
your will power needs to be better than the lords because LORD
what san wants, san gets that's all imma say
5/10 you don't know what you're gonna get and it's scary
mingi
im tired of the mingi is dumb allegations
mans is smart as hell, not only in math but also the amount of lyrics and songs he helps to produce??
studious mingi is one hell of a study partner
it might be a little bit of a learning curve at first, especially if you're the type of person to want to chat or bounce your ideas off of someone while you're working
mingi gives me the vibes that he would be dead serious and focused while working
so it might be a little intimidating at first
you look up to ask a question and he's sitting there, eyebrows furrowed and fingers flying across the keyboard
and you're like damn i don't want to disturb him so you swallow your question and move your eyes back to your work
but mingi is also very observant, so he definitely notices that
"what's up baby?"
"mmmm nothing" you mumble, trying to figure out this particular problem
he'll shut his laptop off and scoot closer to you
wordlessly helps you figure out whatever it is you're working on before giving you a small kiss to your forehead and moving on
8/10 he can be the stem major to my humanities major
wooyoung
let's be fr, not the best study partner you could ask for
love wooyoung with all my heart but mans gets distracted easy as hell
has probably tried the pomodoro method but it just doesn't work for him
sitting for longer periods of times just makes him antsy yk
i get the feeling he'd be the type of person to get one of those moving desks that goes up and down and then puts a treadmill or smth under it because he needs to be moving or else he'll get very distracted
do NOT take this man to a cafe to work, he will do everything but study
especially with the people watching
"babe look at that guy over there, his shoelace is untied"
"that girl's shirt tag is sticking out, should I say something"
"the barista spilled that woman's drink"
if you're okay with background noise, it probably wouldn't be too bad....
until he starts wanting attention and now he's playing footsies with YOU
"woo, babe, I really need to finish this, it's due tomorrow"
"so you don't love me is what you're saying"
and now two hours have passed and you only have half of an assignment done
will buy you food and/or coffee to make up for it
"sorry for distracting you, you don't need a degree, your ass is great"
3/10
jongho
scary
scary studying man
has everything organized to a T, do NOT touch his notes unless you're okay with dealing with the 3 days of silent treatment afterwards
im jk
maybe...
no but fr, jongho takes studying seriously
if you ask him for help, he would probably be the best bet besides seonghwa or yunho
but this shit is like boot camp, okay? so be prepared
no fooling around on jongho's watch
you want to pass, guess what baby, you're gonna PASS
does that thing where if you're not getting something, he might not explain it to you, just re-asks the question louder
"what's 3 + 4?"
"6"
*sighs* "WHAT'S 3 + 4?!"
or might just stare at you blankly when you try to joke around
mans acts like he's training future CIA members or something
once you do finish studying he's back to regularly scheduled bear bf but studying??
only for the strongest soldiers
6/10

(18+COLLEGE AU) PARK JISUNG X FEM BLACK READER: Unravel Me (part.1)
☘︎ “the sun will be shining the flowers still are blooming, then leaves will turn again, but time will be frozen for us.”☘︎
Plot: You and Jisung are college students and after becoming partners for a project in your psychology class you finally get the chance to talk to each other. (Romantic slow burn, includes fluff, smut, and slight drama) PART: 1/5 (word count: 3317) RATING: 18+ semi slow burn (yes there will be smut) Pronouns used: SHE/HER TWS: NONE
You walked through the halls with your laptop tucked underneath your arm and your phone in your hand. You had another twenty minutes before your last lecture of the day started, but you wanted to get there quickly. You needed to speak to your professor about the paper you submitted last night. You sent him an email about it, but he didn't respond and the paper was worth more than 20% of your grade for this semester. You refused to let the simple mistake of forgetting to put it in the correct formatting ruin your current grade—especially since you need this class to graduate. So you power-walked through the halls hoping you'd be the first in the lecture hall. When you saw that his door was still closed, you smiled and ran the rest of the way—pulling the heavy door open happily and sighing in relief when you saw it was just him.
"Good morning, Ms. Y/LN. You're quite early today, aren't you?" Said Dr. Lee in a cheerful and surprised tone; you laughed a little as you closed the heavy door carefully and rushed to his desk, "Sorry, I just needed to ask you about my paper," You responded, "I made a mistake, and the formatting got ruined as I was submitting it, is there any way I could resubmit it after the lecture?" Dr. Lee, with the sleeves of his gray sweater rolled up and his medium-length black hair just as unruly—yet neat as always paused for a moment, tapping the pen between his fingers on the his large wooden desk as he lowered his gaze at what seemed to be an endless stack of ungraded papers from the last written exam. Dr. Lee has always been your most relaxed and easygoing professor; if not for him being married with his looks, he'd be more popular amongst the horny college girls trying their hardest to pass with a easy C- if not for this. But, luckily for them—but mostly himself, he's always lenient.
"Well, Y/N, you know I have a lot to do today," He said with a slight gesture to the papers in front of him, "So I probably won't get around to grading those essays at all this week, so I'll do you a favor today." His response made you smile. You knew you didn't have to worry; you couldn't be more relieved if you tried. "Ahhh! Thank you, Dr. Lee! I'll get it resubmitted as soon as I get to my dorm!" As he nodded and laughed, you began to rush to your desk in celebration, but before you could sit down, he stopped you, saying: "Y/N, do you think since I've done you a favor, you could do me one?" You immediately turned around to him with wide eyes, your mind dove straight into the gutters as he stood up and shoved his hands into the front pockets of his cozy gray sweats; he walked around his desk and leaned against it, crossing his leg over the other as he waited for your response. Nervously, you said, "Uh...well, I wouldn't mind," as you hoped that he wasn't saying what you were thinking. Your response made him smile widely; pulling his hands out of his pockets, he clapped them together loudly and stood straight, saying: "Great! Come over here for a second."
You looked around the lecture room nervously as he rushed back to his desk, feeling a little uneasy as you slowly approached him. Dr. Lee said jokingly, "Come on, hurry it up, Ms. Y/N." You took a deep breath and returned to his desk, standing at the side of him nervously as you awaited what he'd do or say next. "Do you know Park Jisung?" His question caught you off guard, and you were so shocked that you thought you misheard him for a second—why was he asking you about Jisung? You've never spoken to him once, and it's not like you could anyway. You only have this one class with him, and he's always quiet unless he has to speak. Sometimes, you see him when you're eating lunch or at the library; you've caught him at the gym once or twice, but you've never actually spoken. And it's not just you; he doesn't talk to anyone except his dorm mates—even though he doesn't speak to anyone, he's at the center of every girl's conversation. Every girl you've been friends with has had a crush on him, he even gets baked goods, cards, chocolates, and flowers well after Valentine's Day. Almost every girl has his birthday memorized, and they regularly give him gifts on his birthday. You think it's a little much, but you can't judge, despite your lack of gift-giving and interest in attempting to strike up a conversation with him—you have a crush on him too.
But still, you couldn't figure out why he was asking you about him. "Of course I do. We don't talk, but I've seen him around.” You said, “why?" Dr. Lee sighed and peeked over your shoulder to look at the door, "I figured..." Dr. Lee rolled his eyes and leaned against his black swivel seat as he thought carefully about what to say next. "I'm sorry, but is something wrong?" You asked, "Is he okay?" He looked at you with raised eyebrows and laughed a little. "He's fine, I was just asking." You nodded, feeling confused and intrigued, but decided not to question him any further; you didn't know why he'd think you and Jisung were friends to begin with, so you brushed it off and once again began to walk to your seat. "Oh, one last thing, Y/N." You turned your head to him and raised your eyebrows as you softly hummed, "Do you think Jisung is attractive?" Your eyes went wide as you stared at him with a baffled expression. "You can be honest. You don't have a boyfriend, and Jisung is attractive to you, right?" Feeling embarrassed and confused, you nervously laughed and nodded a little.
He's not wrong—Jisung is extremely attractive, he's quiet, intelligent, tall, and shy, and you've heard he's a fantastic dancer. "I mean...yeah? But why are you asking?" Dr. Lee nodded and grinned, saying a quick "No reason." Before getting up to open his door, signifying that it was now the five-minute mark. Going up to the top row, you sit your laptop down and plug up your phone, waiting for the room to fill with its usual faces before class starts. One by one, people entered and sat in their regular seats.
At this point, you would've been running down the halls to make it before the door closed so you wouldn't have seen Jisung walking in with his headphones and round, frameless glasses sitting on his nose. You smiled a little as you looked at him, reflecting on your conversation with Dr. Lee made want to laugh, he had hit the nail on the head perfectly about you finding Jisung attractive—his pretty, plump, and full lips fit his face perfectly, his nose just as gorgeous as his eyes and it makes him completely irresistible. His outfits always make you think of what type of boyfriend he'd be.
He always dresses casually, but he makes it look so good. Today was no different either. His black turtleneck and matching black pants that fit him just right looked unbelievably comfortable and warm. Even though you were far away, he looked like he smelled so good, and the thought alone gave you butterflies. As you continued to stare, he sat down and placed his heavy-looking bag on the floor; he turned to the side and reached down to go through it, you thought it was a little odd but cute—as he continued to go through his bag you watched with a slight smile. But your smile quickly faded, and your eyes darted away as he suddenly looked directly at you. Maybe you were staring a little too much? You thought that he must've felt your eyes on him or that he had noticed from the corner of his eye, so you decided to stop staring—you didn't want him to think you were some weirdo. As the last person comes in, the door is closed, and like always, Dr. Lee begins his long, playful good afternoon ramble. Usually, you listen closely, but no matter how much you try to immerse yourself, your mind drifts, staring blankly ahead with Jisung at the front of your brain.
You grin a little as you imagine what talking to him would be like; he's never occupied your mind so much before, but now you can't stop thinking about him. And you were so entertained by the thought of him that you didn't even notice Dr. Lee calling you until someone beside you tapped your shoulder. "Ms. Y/N, are you feeling okay?" Dr. Lee asked; you looked at him confused as you sat up in your seat, feeling slightly uncomfortable with the amount of attention on you, "I'm fine, sorry, I was just a little distracted." You answered awkwardly; for some reason, instead of brushing it off and kindly reminding you to pay attention, he shook his head and clicked his tongue in disappointment, "Y/N, do me a favor and come sit down here," He said, "I need you paying attention, this lesson is imperative for your final grades and so I want everyone to pay close attention." You looked at him even more confused than before; he had never made anyone move when they weren't paying attention—granted, it's not often that someone is very blatantly ignoring him, but still, it was shocking that he was making you sit closer as if you were failing his class. But without a fight, you nodded to save yourself the embarrassment, and starting moving down to the second row.
But as you reached the fourth row he stopped you Dr. Lee stopped you and said "Actually, could you sit beside Jisung?" You stopped and looked at him him; strangely, Dr. Lee was grinning as if he had told a joke that only he was in on. "You don't mind, right, Mr. Park?" This time, you looked at Jisung, who sat motionless with his eyes looking straight ahead as he shook his head, "Great, please take a seat, Y/N." Your stomach felt so uneasy as you reached the only empty section. Of course, no one else would be sitting near him in the fourth row; he always sits right underneath the air vents and right beside the window—plus, they keep a distance so they don't seem like weirdos, so as you sat down beside him you prayed that it wouldn't get awkward. Even though you don't talk, you don't want to ruin your chance to be friends with him.
"Thank you, now! Let's move on to our next subject; seeing that this is psychology and can get a little dark sometimes, I thought we should talk about something pleasant." As you glance at Jisung from the corner of your eye, you notice that he's also sneaking a glance at you, and the moment you see him, he quickly looks away, and his cheeks begin to turn pink slowly; unfortunately for you, this causes an eruption of butterflies and endless swirls in your stomach. "Today, I want to talk about the beauty of love; how many of you have been in love before? Raise your hands." As a few hands raise, you look back at Dr. Lee, and he's looking right at the two of you, "Jisung? Y/N? You two have never been in love before?" He asked with a slight laugh and his hand raised, "Don't be shy, I know one of you has," from the corner of your eye, you notice Jisung raise his hand; this makes Dr. Lee smile even more, "Y/N?" Sighing, you raise your hand and play into his little game, but once again, your mind starts to drift as you wonder what type of girl Jisung would fall in love with. You never really thought about it, but now, as you imagine it, a girl like him comes to mind.
For a while, there was a rumor that Jisung had a girlfriend because he had become friends with a girl, because she was really pretty everyone swore they had to be dating. You had heard from a friend who heard from a friend, who heard it from a friend, who heard it from some guy who heard it in the men's dorms that Jisung liked her, and that's why he became friends with her. "Amazing, now you all might be wondering why I'm asking this, right?" Dr. Lee pauses, "Well, about 70 percent of people don't end up with the love of their life, and are you curious about why this is?" As Dr. Lee continued to explain, you sat beside Jisung with sweaty palms. Your stomach felt so tight, and the slightly musky scent mixed with a hint of of citrus, Calderwood, and flowers coming from him made that feeling double. He smelt so good that you could start purring. You hadn't noticed how much time had passed until Dr. Lee suddenly clapped his hands loudly and sighed, "As much as I would hate to spring a new project on all of you suddenly, this is worth 40 percent of your grade and it will be your last project of the semester," Taking a deep breathe you focus your attention on him and cross your legs, "But, because I'm so kind I'll make it a group project, you can pick your partner so please do so now and I'll explain the rest." You turned your head to the right, watching as everyone quickly asked their friends to partner with them; everyone was quick to choose a partner they knew could get the job done quickly while you sat awkwardly, waiting for a chance to get up and find a partner yourself.
You were so busy watching everyone else that you didn't notice Jisung looking at you, not seeing how his face turned red as he prepared himself to speak to you. "Uhm, Y/N..." The sound of Jisung's voice almost made you jump, it was so smooth and deep—the soft pulse you felt between your legs made you want to scream. You try your hardest to contain yourself as you turn your head to him; you were surprised to see a pretty, red blush on his face, it only made you swoon even more. As he spoke he didn't altogether avoid making eye contact with you, but he looked in your eyes only a little as he shyly asked. "Uhm, do you want to be my partner?" You couldn't hide your smile as you nodded happily. You could see him trying his hardest not to smile as he looked away and cleared his throat...you never took him as the shy type.
Class was over just as soon as it began and your palms were sweating profusely as you awaited the perfect opportunity to ask Jisung for his number, slowly you collected your belongs and pretended to look for things as he spoke to Dr. Lee—you felt so nervous, despite knowing that he'd say yes you were still so on edge. And when he finally began to walk away from Dr. Lee you were so anxious that you immediately jumped out of your seat and began to rush down the rows of seats, politely saying excuse me to the group of people standing around as you brushed passed them.
But suddenly stopping you Dr. Lee said "Oh, Y/N, I need to talk to you about the paper you submitted." As he walked around his desk.
JISUNG's POV
I sigh as I walk through the loud bustling hall, my phone had died just minutes before class ended so I couldn't put my headphones in to drown out the sound of the unnecessarily loud talking—my best bet was to get back to my dorm as fast as possible to avoid the usual stares and unsolicited flirting. It would be nice if I could just get back without having someone corner me into giving them my number or taking theirs, I managed to get through a whole lecture without being hounded and I even got to talk to Y/N. Sure I didn't say much, and maybe I was a little quiet and awkward, but I still talked to her. I smiled a little thinking about her, I didn't expect her to agree with being my partner—usually she just asks to work alone and Dr. Lee always lets her. So I can't help but feel a little special about her saying yes.
I've always wondered what she thought about me, she never seems to pay me any mind and has never tried talking to me once—we've had the same classes for almost three years now and even when I see her outside of school she always seems to be in her own world; or just avoiding mine. Sometimes I notice her looking my way but it always seems to be a coincidence and she always looks away the second I look at her, when I talked to Chenle about it he was confident that she had a crush on me, but that was two years ago...now he thinks that I'm just imagining it and I can't blame him. I've had this same crush on her for three years now and the most I can say is: "We made eye contact today." But what am I supposed to do? I don't want to make her uncomfortable by approaching her, I always imagined being more confident in myself and going right up to her; in my mind it's the same thing over and over again.
I see her leaving class and instead of standing there breathlessly, I approach her smoothly. In my head I'd say something straightforward but romantic, "I just couldn't help but notice how beautiful you are." And she'd swoon, Ive always imagined that she'd have these beautiful stars in her pretty eyes as she looks at me—just imagining a smile on her gorgeous two toned lips with that shiny coat of lipgloss gives me butterflies. I could hardly stand sitting next to her, the way she looked at me when I called her name...not to mention how good she smelled. I thought I would melt if she actually said anything to me, I couldn't imagine how I would've reacted if she asked me instead.
I roll my eyes as I finally begin to leave campus, I can already tell that I'll be hung up over that one interaction for the next few weeks...how will I handle actually working with her personally? I mean I'm supposed to spend a whole two weeks with her and- "Jisung!" I stop hearing my name being called, "Jisung!" As I look over my shoulder my eyes go wide at the sight of Y/N running towards me. The sun hitting her beautiful brown skin makes her look so unreal, I can't help but stare as she rushes towards me. It feels like I'm dreaming. "Sorry," She said as she tried to catch her breathe, "I...realized that we don't have each others numbers." She said with a laugh, I could feel those same butterflies in my stomach as she looked at me with her shiny brown eyes. God...she's so damn pretty. "Oh, sorry..." I responded, "My phone is dead but I can give you my number." She nodded with a gut wrenchingly beautiful smile and reached in her pocket, only when she pulled her phone out and gestured it towards me did I notice how shaky her hands were. Chenle won't believe this…

| Aphrodite's Spell | Chapter One |
Summary: Aegon was the definition of fuckboy. He didn't care about people's feelings, fucked with no strings attached and used whoever he wanted. He never got attached. Never made friends. That was until he met you online. You didn't know him, nor his family. You were an innocent his family and their legacy tainted. Someone new. Something new.
Warnings: Talks of alcohol and drugs, some slight smut, angst.
Author's note: Welcome to chapter 1. This is basically story set up rather than much of the drama/slow burn. Aegon is troubled and I wanted to set up this part of the story before introducing the reader properly and the romance.

He promised he would be good.
That was five hours ago. He now sat in the holding cell next to familiar faces and the same cops as every week. Drunks, addicts, underage drinkers, random men who never had a criminal record but got cocky with a bouncer and got arrested.
He promised he would be good.
But when did anyone really believe his promises?
"Targaryen. Your sister is here." Derrick shouted from across the cell, opening the door a crack to allow the blonde outside. He stood up with a bounce and walked past the other sorry looking idiots who managed to land themselves here on a Sunday evening. "Same time next week?" Derrick chuckled, passing Aegon his belongings, including his keys, phone and a dragon keyring he kept on his belt for good luck. "Most definitely, wouldn't miss it." Aegon remarked with smirk. He walked towards the front desk, pushing his blonde locks out of his face. Helena stood there with a less than pleased expression on her face.
"One Sunday night, Egg. That's all I ask." She started, slapped him around the head. "One Sunday i'll be able to relax and not have to be bailing you out of jail." She huffed, opening the front door to the station. "Maybe even one day you'll grow up?" She suggested with a slight smile. Aegon rolled his eyes, unsure of what lecture was awaiting him in the morning once news of his arrest made it's way to his mother. He was the disappointment of the family so he was just doing his job really. It made everyone else look good. "Maybe.." He said with a sigh and got into the passenger side of Helena's car. He had sobered up enough to not throw up in her car but still felt the buzz of the nights drinks and drugs. He emptied the plastic bag of hid belongings into his lap, replacing all the jewellery he was told to remove.
His phone started to buzz in his pocket seeing multiple texts from Aemond and his mother.
"Aemond was worried about you." Helena started, causing Aegon to chuckle under his breath. "Seriously Egg, he's never seen you that bad. Not since Dad died." Aegon released his breath, not even realising he was holding it. Dad. God he would be so dissapointed in him. "What's going on?" His sister continued, placing a caring hand on his arm.
"I'm fine Hel, just took shit too far...again." He replied, putting his hand on top of Helena's, reassuring his younger sister that all was well. They spent the rest of the car ride in silence, Aegon leaned back into his seat, watching the lights from the lamp posts whiz past as Helena drove her normal route back to his apartment. Not even fifteen minutes since she picked him up, she dropped him off again.
His apartment was cold when he opened the door. The winters in Kings Landing weren't as cold as in the North but they could be nippy. Aegon didn't bother turning on the lights, just went straight to his liquor cabinet and opened a bottle of whiskey. He started to drink it, enjoying the burning sensation as it went down his throat. Not bothering to close the blinds, or curtains, he collapsed into his bed, whiskey in hand.
"Why is it so hard for you to blah blah blah blah." Aegon pushed his hair out of his face as he lifted his head up off the table, unable to listen to his mother and grandfather's moaning anymore. "Am I done here? I have things to do." He pushed his chair away from the glass table and stood up. "Like what? Nurse a hangover? Or get so drunk you aren't hungover anymore?" His brother joked, raising his eyebrows at his older brother.
"Aemond, not all of us are prudes and can't handle our drink." Aegon crossed his arms before turning to face his mother. "Mother. I will see you tomorrow for dinner." He didn't bother saying goodbye to his grandfather or brother. They were cunts. As much as he disliked his mother, he had the decency to say goodbye to her.
He closed the office door behind himself, leaning against the door to steady himself. He could hear talking from behind the door. Most definitely him being slagged off. But he didn't really care. Aegon stood up straight and walked towards the elevator, pressing the button to the ground floor. "Bye Maria. See you later." He waved to the older receptionist who was bust typing away on her computer. She put a hand up to say goodbye to the young man before the elevator dinged and Aegon left the dragons pit.
Once Aegon stepped outside, the weight from his shoulders was suddenly lifted. He was back in his own head, rather than the Targaryen head. He walked over to his car and hoped into the drivers seat, watching in the rear view mirror as the paparazzi began circling his car like flies around a dead body. He took a deep breath before setting off home.
Aegon returned home, stopping only at a drive thru coffee shop to get his normal order as well as a hangover cure. He opened his door before walking straight into his bedroom and shutting the door behind him. Knocking the empty whiskey bottle onto the floor, he sat on his bed with his coffee and opened his laptop.
Opening his an online chat room he frequented he began to message his 'friends'. A few were online, many weren't as it was a Monday afternoon and many actually had to work for a living. He scrolled through the blog board, looking for anything interesting before he would crawl under his sheets and sleep off the horrible hangover.
Something caught his eye.
Y/N: Can a blonde bitch please come into my life and fuck it up? I'm bored of working and sleeping. I need a man to come and fuck me like a hound. Is that so much to ask?

Camp Wiegman-Part 49
Lucy Bronze x Ona Batlle
Alternative Universe : Military School
Words : 5k
Masterlist
———————————————————————-
Monday, February 8th; 11:45 AM - In class.
Returning to reality is hard. I'm bored to death with these classes. If Lucy saw me, she'd probably lecture me for slouching over my desk trying to follow this pointless lesson. I wish we could have extended our weekend. It was so much more enjoyable, even with the little incident Feli caused on Saturday night. I keep thinking about it. Lucy was so sweet to me from beginning to end. I was so worried, but now I regret that the weekend was too short. Plus, seeing my brother again was such a joy. It broke my heart when it was time to leave. He didn’t want to let us go, and he even cried. I felt sorry for Hector, who had to stay with him. Luckily, the holidays are coming soon. We have just one more week. I’m eagerly looking forward to it, so much so that I feel like these next few days are going to drag on. It’s well known that excitement tends to slow down time. If all goes well, I'll spend those two weeks with Lucy. The first week is certain, since we'll be going to the Alps with her friends. She told me she'd handle the planning with Ingrid during the day.
- "You seem lost in thought," Alessia murmurs. "Is everything okay?"
- "Yeah," I say, sitting up and giving her a shy smile.
I’ve never felt so good. Of course, I still have problems, but the biggest ones are now resolved. My smile fades for a moment as I recall the events of last week. With everything that happened, I haven't had the chance to speak to my friends since the cafeteria incident. I did check in with Alexia via text, but that was it. I got bombarded with questions this morning. If I had at least had one meal with them, I could have avoided this situation. But I don’t regret eating with Lucy. I was still too shaken to be around other students. Coming back to school this morning reminded me why I wasn't ready for that. The students made me the center of attention. I hated it. My friends told me that a bunch of rumors had spread after the fight. The first was about Korbin getting expelled, but for me, it was a different story. The students thought I was in the hospital, considering the beating I took. The scene in the cafeteria must have been something for them to think that. After hearing all this, I’m not surprised everyone is staring at me. Sure, I still have a few marks, but everything’s healing pretty well, thanks to Lucy’s weekly care.
- "I wanted to apologize," I said.
- "For what?"
- "For being radio silent until today. I shouldn't have worried you. To be honest, I didn't expect you to be so concerned."
- "You're our friend; it's normal to worry."
- "Yeah, but you know, except for Mapi, I was never close to many people. But now that I have you guys, it’s… I don’t know. I’m glad to have you."
- "We’re glad to have you too," she smiles. "Just don’t leave us without news next time. We saw you Thursday morning, so we knew you were okay, but we still wondered why you were absent the next day."
- "I promise, next time I'll let you know."
I return her smile. I've grown closer to them, so I can’t shy away now. I’m relieved when the bell rings right after our conversation. I hope the rest of the week doesn’t pass as slowly as this half-day. I’ll die of boredom otherwise. My only motivation is that I’ll see Lucy every evening since we’ll be sharing her room again this week. She told me she’d be busy these next five days, so I’ll have to make do with our evening classes and nights together. I hope I can manage. She’s been my support these past few days, and I already feel lost without her by my side. In the meantime, I content myself with my friends. Specifically, Alessia. She’s telling me all about what I missed last week, and her stories are pretty funny. I stop laughing, though, when we run into Lucy walking in the opposite direction just as we’re about to leave the building. I step aside to avoid getting in anyone’s way.
- "Hey," I say with a smile, happy to see her.
My smile fades when I realize she’s not looking at me. Her attention is focused on Alessia beside me, and she’s giving her a dirty look before finally turning to me.
- "Hi," she finally responds. "You know we already saw each other this morning, right?" she jokes.
- "Uh, yeah," I say awkwardly, making her smile.
- "I don’t have much time to chat, but we’ll meet after class. I’ll be done with what I have to do by then, so we can work on your assignments."
- "Really? I don’t want to waste your time. If you’re too busy, Alessia can help me."
- "No. I insisted on helping you with your studies, so I’m not going to abandon you," she replies.
I suppress my smile at the tone of her voice. Oh, so she has an issue with Alessia... I didn’t see that coming.
- "Alright. I’ll be there," I simply reply.
- "You better be. You can’t back out now."
- "I wasn’t planning to," I tease.
- "Good," she smiles. "See you later in the classroom."
- "Aren’t you going to eat?"
- "I just finished. I wanted to avoid the crowd and save time."
- "Oh," I say, struggling to hide my disappointment.
She smiles at me, as if she understands how I feel. I wish she could have been there with me. Just seeing her in front of me would have given me courage. She ruffles my hair affectionately before slowly walking away.
- "See you in a few hours," I whisper.
- "See you in a few hours," she repeats.
I sigh as I watch her walk away. I wish I could follow her. I turn back to Alessia, who raises an eyebrow with a small smile.
- "Study session, huh? I guess things are better between you two if you're willing to ditch me."
- "Oh... Uh, yeah. I should’ve told you," I grimace as we head outside to join the others.
They were waiting for us at the exit. We follow them to the cafeteria as they start walking when they see us.
- "I’m really sorry, but because of my terrible grades, Bronze wanted to take charge again."
- "So, things are better between you?"
- "I... Yeah, you could say that."
- "You could say that?" she giggles. "You seemed pretty happy to see her just now," she smiles.
- "You’re exaggerating... It’s just that I didn’t expect to see her. She told me she’d be very busy today."
- "Who, besides you, tries to run into their supervisor?" she teases.
- "Alright... You’re right. Probably no one," I giggle. "I can’t help it if I enjoy spending time with her. She... I don’t know. I need her, that’s all. With what happened last week, she once again proved that to me."
- "Uh-huh..." she smiles.
- "What?"
- "Nothing," she says with a smirk.
- "Oh, come on. I know you well enough by now to know you’re thinking something."
- "No, I’m not saying anything," she says, raising her hands. "You might take it the wrong way again, and I don’t want to risk it."
- "Of course not," I protest.
- "I’m sure you would," she laughs. "Please drop it. I really don’t want you to get upset again."
- "Fine," I sigh.
I don’t insist, knowing that if she doesn’t want to talk about it, she must have a good reason. I don’t want to create any tension between us when we’ve been getting along so well these past few days. I step into the cafeteria hall as she holds the door for me. I barely take a few steps before Alexia half-jumps on me, putting her arm around my shoulders. I wince, holding back a cry of pain to avoid worrying her. Though my injuries are healing, they are far from fully recovered.
- "Classes are so depressing," she groans. "I’m so glad we’re on break!"
- "I totally agree."
- "You guys can’t complain. We only have one week left," Alessia comments.
- "Yeah, Especially the first week. Oh my God, I can’t wait!"
- "I can’t agree more," I say with a knowing smile.
- "What do you mean...?" Ale asks, slowing down. "Wait, don’t tell me—"
She stops completely, making me chuckle. I hadn’t told her the good news yet. This vacation is going to be amazing. I’ll be surrounded by all the people I’m closest to: Lucy, Mapi, and Alexia. Gradually, a smile spreads across Alexia’s face as if she’s just figured it out.
- "No, but wait... Really?"
I shrug, smiling even more. I reply with a wink before continuing with Alessia toward the buffet, who no longer tries to understand our half-spoken conversation. Thankfully. She’s a good analyst, and I don’t want her starting to ask questions.
- "Ona Batlle! What don’t I know about!?"
- "Oh, a lot of things," I giggle. "Let’s talk about it tonight, okay?"
"You have no idea how much I hate you right now for leaving me in suspense!"
I laugh, not saying anything more. I get the feeling Alessia is already asking herself questions, so I don’t want to add fuel to the fire by feeding her curiosity. We finally change the subject as we return to our table.
Monday, February 8; 5:45 PM - Lucy and Ingrid’s Office.
For the fifth time, I try to slide my hand onto Lucy’s thigh, but she stops me again, this time with a grumble. I pout as she furrows her brows once more.
- "You need to stop that."
- "I need to touch you," I groan.
She smiles softly, tilting her head. Coming from me, that might be confusing. I’ve never felt such a primal need before. Lucy has always been the one to offer me affection, and it’s frustrating that she’s denying it now.
- "Since when, huh?"
I shrug, blushing slightly. I missed her today. It was the first day we’ve been apart in four days.
- "Just wait a few more minutes until the building empties. In the meantime, focus. You’re far from done with your exercise."
I slump, resting my head on my hand and letting out a long groan. I’m getting tired of these management exercises. It’s been nearly an hour, and I’m almost back to square one.
- "Um, hello."
I lift my head to see a new presence in the room. Ingrid isn’t here tonight, so I wanted to take the opportunity to get Lucy’s attention, but now I understand why she didn’t want that. We could still be caught at any moment, like now. I squint as I recognize my management teacher, Mr. Tompson.
- "Hello, Mr. Tompson. How can I help you?" Lucy takes the initiative to ask.
- "I didn’t expect you to have company, actually."
- "Oh, Ona isn’t a problem. I help her with her homework every evening, so I doubt there will be other times to discuss privately. I’ll make sure she stays quiet if it’s an important matter."
- "Actually, it concerns her class."
He glances at me with a gentle smile. I don’t return his smile at all. He caught my attention as soon as he arrived. Lucy sort of confirmed for me that he’s interested in her. That makes me even more eager to defend my territory, but of course, I can’t. As if Lucy sensed that I was seething beside her, she gently squeezes my knee.
- "Well?"
I loosen my grip on my pen and look back down at my paper. Maybe my inattention will encourage my teacher to talk, and that’s exactly what happens. He must have realized that I wasn’t going to leave. There’s no way I’m letting him be alone with Lucy.
- "I was thinking of organizing an outing for their class. It would involve seeing how a company operates. I’m just waiting for responses from the companies I’ve selected."
- "Okay…" Lucy responds uncertainly. "And how does that involve me?"
- "I’m looking for chaperones… Three, to be exact."
- "I see."
- "I was hoping you’d be willing to do it," he adds hesitantly after Lucy’s response.
- "Well, why not, but it’s not my decision to make. You’d better discuss this with the principal."
- "Oh yes, of course! That was my intention," he says quickly. "I just wanted to know if you were agreeable before approaching her."
- "Do you already have the other chaperones?"
- "Another teacher who helped organize the outing will be there. I’m still missing the third person."
- "I can ask Engen. I suppose she’d be interested in coming with us. Of course, it will need Wiegman’s approval first."
- "That’s a good idea. I’ll handle that. Anyway, it’s not happening for a few weeks."
- "Alright, then we’ll discuss it again when the time comes."
- "Bronze…?" I murmur. "I’m stuck here."
A smile spreads across her lips as she presses her hand on my knee a little more. She seems to understand my plea for attention.
- "Excuse me, did I interrupt you?" my teacher asks.
- "No problem," Lucy replies.
- "Well then… I’ll leave you to it. Have a good evening."
- "Thank you, you too."
I watch him leave the room with a nasty look. Fortunately for me, he didn’t notice as he had his back turned. He closes the door halfway at Lucy’s request. I sigh with relief at his departure. He was making the atmosphere heavy. Lucy smiles at me almost mockingly.
- "What?"
- "Oh, nothing."
- "Hmm…"
- "So, what’s your problem?"
- "Oh, I didn’t have one. I just wanted him to leave."
She smiles again and goes back to her work. I groan, resting my head on my palm again.
- "Still, I hadn’t realized how insufferable that guy is."
Lucy lets out a laugh she’s probably been holding in for a while, given its intensity.
- "Hey, don’t make fun of me! It’s the truth."
- "I thought you liked him?"
- "Yeah, well, I’ve changed my mind. I like him less now that I know he’s hovering around you."
- "He’s not hovering around me," she rolls her eyes.
- "He likes you and ogles you; it’s all the same to me. Plus, I would’ve preferred to avoid confronting him today, given how much I missed you," I tease her.
She smiles in amusement and surprises me by leaning in to kiss me. I close my eyes, fully enjoying this contact, which I realize has become a necessity for me right now. However, it doesn’t last. I open my eyes to beg for more, which prompts her to respond verbally.
- "I hope you fully enjoyed that little taste to satisfy your needs because that’s going to be my only affectionate gesture in this office tonight. Now get back to work. I want that exercise finished before dinner."
A plaintive whine escapes me. I should’ve expected it, but it’s so frustrating. Knowing that she really means it, I abandon the idea of getting more and change the subject.
- "I can’t do it," I replied.
I’m not sure if I’m talking about the exercise or the affection she’s withholding. She seems to assume it’s the former, judging by her response.
- "I’ve explained it to you three different ways. You can’t tell me you can’t do it. This is clearly a lack of effort on your part, and if you think I’m going to do the exercise for you, you’ve got another thing coming."
I sigh, knowing full well that she’s right about this. In truth, I already understood it the second time she explained it, but I just don’t have the motivation to do it. I still pout, not entirely happy with her attitude. However, I don’t complain to avoid getting scolded for real. If I’ve learned anything, it’s that Lucy won’t act any differently than a supervisor during work hours. With little enthusiasm, I finally dive into my exercise.
Monday, February 8; 8:15 PM - Ona and Alexia’s Room.
- "No way, this can’t be true…" says Alexia, completely shocked. "Why do you always hide so much from me! So, you and Bronze…"
She doesn’t finish her sentence, as if she still can’t believe it enough to say it out loud. I giggle and nod. I just told her we’re a couple. I thought she would’ve guessed when I said everything was settled, but it seems she hadn’t thought that far. She falls back onto the bed across from me. It looks like she’s going to need some time to process this.
- "But like, really?"
- "Yes, Ale," I laugh. "We’re together."
- "B-but, but… How?! We’re talking about Bronze here!"
- "Call her Lucy with me, please," I roll my eyes with a little amused smile.
- "Oh no, no, no. I definitely can’t do that. We’re talking about Bronze!"
I laugh heartily before we look each other in the eye. I wait for her to digest the news. She opens her mouth to speak but then closes it again. She seems to be thinking about what to say before finally speaking.
- "How? I mean, Bronze hates me because I broke the rules by dating Jenni, and she got fired because of me. So how did you get her to break the same rule herself? It’s so unexpected. I mean, of course, I encouraged you, and I hated her for hurting you so much, but… I don’t know. I just never expected her to offer you an intimate relationship, seriously!"
- "Stop it, Lucy doesn’t hate you."
- "Oh yes, yes, yes! She hates me! She made that clear from the start! She’s only become nicer to me since you two started hooking up! And that’s only because we’re friends! Did you say something to her? Oh my God, you must have said something! Otherwise, she wouldn’t be acting so nice to me!"
I chuckle in amusement. The way she’s getting worked up is hilarious. Now she’s standing up, panicking, saying things I can’t even understand anymore because I’m laughing so much.
- "Ale, calm down. I didn’t say anything to her. If she’s doing it for me, I don’t know about it. I can find out If you want.
- Definitely not! Besides… why are you here with me? Don’t you want to go find her?
- Well, you see, I have a friend who pressured me a little to stop by here before heading back to my room. I should hate you for delaying the moment I’ve been waiting for all day, but you’re lucky I like you, I teased.
- Aww, you’re too cute! But go on. I don’t want to keep you. I’ll just try to process this news now that I know.
- No, I think I’ll stay here for a bit. Actually, I need to make Lucy wait. She left me frustrated while I was doing my homework.
Alexia sits back down on her bed, nodding.
- It’s understandable that she’d want to keep things discreet. Her best friend lost her job because of me for the same reason. I doubt she wants to get fired for it too.
- I know… I sighed. I don’t blame her; I get it. Honestly, I just didn’t expect to want to be so touchy-feely with her. I mean, just last week, I could barely stand being touched. Now I’m practically begging her to touch me, even if it’s just once.
- I’ve been saying from the start that you were hooked on her, she teased. But still, I can’t get over it. You two, together? I mean, especially Bronze in a relationship—it’s unimaginable.
- Oh, stop. It’s just because she only shows you the mask she wants you to see. She’s really sweet deep down. I even think she’s hiding her true self, I said with a roll of my eyes.
- What do you mean by that?
- I’m not saying anything. You might never see her the same way again, and I doubt Lucy would appreciate it, I replied with a small, sly smile. I think she likes to keep you on your toes, I chuckled.
- Yeah, well, it’s really not funny, she pouted.
- You know, I can always talk to her if this bothers you that much.
- No, absolutely not! I want to prove to her that I’m a good match for Jenni. I feel like she still doesn’t think so.
- If she doesn’t yet, she will. And I promise I won’t do anything to make that happen.
We exchanged a knowing smile just as there was a knock on the door. A rather timid Lucy entered our room. I raised an eyebrow, not expecting her to show up. I’d seen her after dinner and told her I wouldn’t come by right away.
- Hey, I said. What brings you here?
- I was wondering what was taking you so long.
I raised an eyebrow, noticing it was only twenty past eight. I usually didn’t head back to my room until nine when I stopped by here first.
- Hmm… We were just talking, but I can come back with you if that’s what you want.
- Oh no, it’s just that… she started before cutting herself off. Never mind.
Lucy shifted her gaze from me to my roommate. She raised an eyebrow, making me look at Alexia in turn. Alexia’s cheeks were clearly flushed with embarrassment, probably from staring at her. Lucy sighed, running a hand through her hair.
- She knows, I guess?
- Of course. Don’t think I was going to keep it from her.
- I didn’t say anything, she smiled softly. Well… are you done, or should I leave without you?
- I think we’re done…
- Yeah, sure, Alexia confirmed.
- So, see you tomorrow morning? I asked.
- Yeah, she smiled, getting up to hug me. See you tomorrow morning.
- Good night, I said, before joining Lucy, who had been waiting by the door since the beginning.
Lucy wished her a good night as well before letting me go ahead to leave. We walked through the buildings, taking her shortcut to make the trip quicker.
- You thought I wasn’t coming back? I teased. I usually get back to your room later than this.
- No. Let’s just say I didn’t expect you to take so long. You told me you’d only be fifteen minutes.
- Hmm… And what would have happened if I’d stayed longer, huh?
- It would have meant that I couldn’t enjoy you the way I wanted, she murmured as she opened her bedroom door.
- Well, I started, immediately searching for my things in my suitcase. You didn’t want me to enjoy you in your office either, I replied in a slightly reproachful tone.
- You’re not really mad about that, are you? she teased.
- You don’t know me very well if you think otherwise, I replied with a wink.
She tried to steal a kiss as we moved, but I ignored her and slammed the bathroom door in her face. I heard her groan behind it, which made me stifle a laugh. I expected her to give up—at least, that’s what I would’ve done in her place—but instead, she came into the bathroom just as I was taking off my shirt.
- Luce, get out of here.
- No, she said, blocking me against the sink.
- What’s gotten into you? I sighed, slightly unsettled by her sudden change in behavior.
- You should know that I don't reject you in my office for fun, she replied. I told you that I'd remain your supervisor at school and your girlfriend in private. I thought you understood that. Let's not start taking jabs at each other over this.
Her response made me realize she took my words seriously. Sure, I was a little upset with her for making me wait with just one kiss, but I was mostly joking.
- Sorry, I... It’s just that... Today was hard. I really missed you. I didn’t expect it to be this much. Plus, it was tough dealing with all those rumors and students without you by my side.
Lucy sighed as she pulled me into her arms. I relaxed into her embrace, enjoying the long-awaited hug. She kissed my forehead.
- It was only the first day... You'll have to hold on for three more months because I’m not planning to change my stance on professionalism. Don’t forget that I’m working here.
- I know, I mumbled.
- We’ll have all the time in the world to be together in the evenings, OK?
- Yeah, and after the holidays, huh? I won’t be here in the evenings, remember?
- Well, we’ll have the weekends, she arched an eyebrow. You're not going to get all depressed on me, are you? I didn’t think you were this needy for affection, she teased.
- Well, you’re the one who made me like this.
She laughed and stole a quick kiss from me.
- Now, go take a quick shower and come join me. You’re not the only one who’s been waiting for this moment all day. I just hide it better than you.
I smiled as I watched her leave. She really does hide it better than I do because I hadn’t noticed. I hurried to wash up and get ready for bed before joining her. She was already waiting in bed with the next Harry Potter movie queued up on her laptop. I quickly joined her, snuggling into her arms. She held me tight and kissed me passionately, showing me just how much she had missed me too.
- So, how was your day otherwise? she asked as she started the movie.
- Long and boring, I sighed. It’s really unbearable. I’m just glad Alessia and the others were there to distract me.
- Alessia, huh?
- What? I asked, smiling slightly, already knowing where this conversation was going.
- You two have gotten close pretty quickly. Is she still into you?
I smiled mischievously. I vaguely mentioned this to her because of what happened on New Year’s Eve. I seriously need to stop talking to her about these things.
- I don’t think so. At least, she knows I’m interested in someone else.
- Really?
- Yeah… But she’s starting to have questions about us, so if you ask me, you might want to save those looks for someone else next time.
I bit my lip and looked up. The scene from this morning was unforgettable. I saw her give Alessia a disapproving look, and I doubt it was accidental. I caught her rolling her eyes before she turned them back to me.
- Why? She’s asking questions?
- I think she suspects that you’re the one I’m interested in. So yeah, I guess she’s asking questions. This morning, she didn’t want to continue a conversation about it, fearing I’d get upset…
- I see, she murmured. I’ll try to control myself. You try to do the same with your management professor, she teased.
- At least I didn’t stare him down!
- Maybe not, but you weren’t exactly pleasant either, she giggled.
- That’s not true.
- Yes, it is, she laughed. It was cute.
I blushed, sinking deeper into her. I turned my attention to the movie that had been playing. Lucy kissed my head, making me smile. It’s funny how easily we express our feelings now when we hid them for weeks before.
- So… I can’t talk to Alessia about us, right? I broke the silence, making Lucy sigh.
- Why do you ask? Do you want to tell her?
- No, but I’m afraid she’ll find out…
- If you ask me, from what you’ve told me, she already suspects. It’s up to us to prove her wrong, which is why we need to stay professional here, especially during work hours.
- You’re right, I murmured.
- I’d love for you to be able to talk to her, but the fewer people who know, the less chance we have of compromising my end of the year. I’d rather we don’t talk about it, no matter how much you trust Alessia or anyone else.
I nodded. It’s definitely too risky. It might be our last year, but I’m not going to risk anything happening in the short time we have left here.
- I won’t say anything.
- So… Do you really like her since you’ve gotten close to her?
I swallowed a smile. She’s really cute when she’s playing jealous.
- She was a good support while you were away… I misjudged her, to be honest.
- You know, if you asked me a question like that, I would have reassured you…
I frowned, worried that I might be misunderstanding the tone of her voice. I looked up to see her smiling softly at me.
- Yes, I’m jealous of her, baby. Unlike me, you could have been open with her in front of your friends.
- I was open with you in Barcelona and even in front of my mom. That was the first time that ever happened. Well, I did it with Mapi in front of our friends, but definitely not as quickly.
- Really…? she murmured.
- Yes.
I propped myself up on my elbows to get a better look at her. She suddenly seemed deep in thought. Her hand gently caressed my back.
- What’s on your mind? I whispered.
- I don’t want to rush you into things too quickly. You know that, right?
- Of course. I wouldn’t do anything I didn’t want to do. Honestly… I expected this weekend to be a disaster because of my fears, but I ended up loving it… You made me feel comfortable, as you always do. Everything feels so natural between us, and that’s exactly what I need.
She smiled softly before kissing me.
- I’m glad to hear you say that. Don’t hesitate to tell me if anything bothers you, okay?
- Nothing bothers me… But I’ll tell you if something does, I promise. Can we finally watch the movie now?
- Of course, she giggled. Sorry. Come here.
She lifted her arm, and I didn’t hesitate to snuggle as close to her as possible. I love when she holds me in her arms. I used to be afraid of starting a new relationship because I didn’t like physical contact anymore, but now I crave the opposite with Lucy. I buried my head in her neck, thinking about this. I can’t imagine being without her anymore. We’ll need to balance our time during the day and our private moments. I have no doubt she’ll help me with that, even though it will be challenging for both of us, from what I can tell. Lucy is clearly better at hiding it than I am. I hope I can do the same in the coming days, and then the holidays will finally be ours.

“Look, I've seen you use pickup lines,” Hob reminded his friends, his words only slurring a bit. It was their first night out in weeks because of conflicting work schedules and they might have gotten a bit enthusiastic at downing shots. “Half of you lot got rejected within seconds of saying them. Pickup lines are…” he furrowed his eyebrows as he tried to remember what adjectives were. “Stupid. The only reason you even attempt them is because that's what people do in bars. But not me. I've seen enough of you crash and burn. I've made up my mind,” he took a drink from his beer bottle. “I'm never gonna use any pickup line.”
It wasn't the most world-changing principle to hold onto, but Hob tended to run his mouth whenever he'd had more than a few drinks, and when his equally drunk friends dared him to get any stranger's phone number with a pickup line, Hob suddenly felt like giving an entire lecture about it.
“You're an idiot, Robbie,” Ken called him by the nickname he knew Hob disliked the most. “You're just saying that ‘cause you know you'll get rejected like the rest of us.”
Frank piped up. “Maybe I'll take you up on that dare, Ken. You think a pickup line would work on that lady in the black shirt?” He nodded over to the bar where a woman with curly hair and a nice smile was talking to a man who had his back to them.
“Oh, honey,” Hal gave Frank a pitying look. “I don't think anything you say would work on someone so out of your league. And it's a tank top, not a shirt.”
“And that guy could be her boyfriend,” Ken pointed with a nacho to the man leaning against the bar.
Hob was about to say something, but whatever it was fled his mind when the man turned around to speak to the bartender.
His face reminded Hob of those Greek statues in museums; lined features on smooth marble, cheekbones so sharp that Hob would willingly risk getting his hand cut if it meant he could touch them.
“I don't think they're dating,” Hob managed to remember what he was about to say, but this time he knew he sounded a bit hopeful.
“Oh?” Hal arched an intrigued eyebrow. “Would you mind confirming for us, darling?”
“Hey,” Frank elbowed Hob. “If you get that bloke’s number with a pickup line, I’ll get the tab for our next three nights out.”
“Now, we’re talking!” Ken piped up.
Hob was barely listening, still staring at the man who had now turned his back again to continue his conversation with the woman. He stood up—to the surprised and slurred cheers of his friends—and made his way over to the bar.
The woman saw him first, meeting his gaze over the man’s shoulder. For a second, Hob was afraid that they really were dating, and the woman was about to drag the man away somewhere else.
But she smiled warmly and said to the man, “I think someone wants to buy you a drink, brother,” nodding in Hob’s direction.
Brother. Hob knew he was already grinning.
The man turned to face him, and Hob’s breath hitched, suddenly realising how close they were to each other. Piercing blue eyes fixed on him, before flicking down to the bottle he still held in his hand.
“I do not think you should buy any more drinks,” the man said, an amused smile pulling at the corner of his mouth.
“Do you like raisins?” Hob blurted out.
The man looked at him curiously. “I don’t believe they sell raisins here.”
“Well how do you feel about a date?” Hob said cheekily.
The man’s face showed a combination of surprise and confusion, but he wasn’t walking away and Hob was taking that as a win.
The woman laughed good-naturedly behind her brother and patted him on the back. “I think that’s my cue to leave.”
Her brother raised an eyebrow. “You are the one who pestered me to go out tonight, and now you will leave me alone?”
“I'll just be over there by the tables if you need me,” she smiled reassuringly before walking away.
The man turned to Hob again. “Do such lines usually work for you?”
Hob chuckled, leaning against the bar. “Nah. I’ve never even used a pickup line until now. I just heard one of my friends use that one earlier.”
“And did it work?”
“Not at all,” Hob shook his head. “The guy didn’t know that dates were a fruit, and it was just an awkward time with my friend trying to explain the wordplay.”
Amusement twinkled in the man’s eyes, softening his features. “Then why use the same line if it proved ineffective?”
“Had to say something, didn’t I? And we’re having a conversation right now so I’d say it’s effective enough.” Hob grinned and finished the last of his beer, placing the empty bottle on the bar. “Y’know, my friends thought your sister was your girlfriend.” Was that relevant? Hob wasn’t sure, but it was something to say.
The man’s eyebrows lifted. “And that is why you approached me? To settle an argument among your friends?”
“S’no argument,” Hob frowned to try to remember. He hadn’t really been paying attention to the table conversation at the time. “Yeah. I just thought you’re beautiful and I’d regret it for the rest of my life if we never talked,” he chuckled and looked down, sheepishly tugging at his earlobe.
The man had a look of mild surprise on his face. “You are… sincere.”
“What? Well, yeah. Why would I lie about that?” Hob asked in confusion.
“Some people do,” the man gave a half shrug. “It’s why I dislike going to these places,” he muttered, eyeing the crowds.
“Oh,” Hob remembered what this man said about his sister just pestering him to go here tonight. He shifted on his feet uncomfortably. “Um, I can just go back to my friends. If that’s what you want…?”
The man looked at him for a moment, then he opened his mouth to answer—
“Here's your order, sir.” The bartender placed a drink and a small basket of pretzels on the bar. He handed back a credit card.
“Thank you.” The man took the card and turned back to Hob. “Do you like pretzels?”
Hob blinked. He looked at the basket and back at the man. “I— Yeah.”
“Then would you care to join me? I believe we can find a table somewhere.” His eyes seemed to glitter with intent before he gracefully turned and walked away.
Hob could do nothing but follow, determined to find out just what sort of intent the man had in mind.
They sat across from each other at a table, and Hob felt a bit more confident at being invited. “I never caught your name.”
“Finally remembered to ask, didn't you?” the man arched a perfectly shaped eyebrow.
“Technically, I still haven't asked,” Hob replied with a cheeky grin.
The corner of the man’s mouth twitched up. “Dream.”
“What?” Hob furrowed his eyebrows, unsure if he heard correctly.
“My name is Dream.”
“Uh-huh,” Hob said, playfully skeptical. “Because you look like a dream?”
“I am telling the truth,” the man’s eyes were twinkling with mirth as he took something out of his wallet, then showed it to Hob.
Hob leaned forward and saw that it was an ID card. “You’re a director?”
“For theatre plays, yes.” The man—Dream—put the ID back in his wallet. “The latest production we’ve done was a retelling of Twelfth Night.”
“Ah, Shakespeare.” Hob must have looked unimpressed, because Dream tilted his head curiously.
“You are not fond of The Bard?”
Hob shrugged. “I’ve always just preferred Christian Marlowe. Though I wouldn’t mind having a Dream for a midsummer’s night,” he winked.
Dream’s lips curved into an amused smile. “It is only the 7th of June, weeks away from midsummer.”
“Well I’d love to see you again then,” Hob said easily, endeared by how Dream knew exactly when midsummer would even be.
“I do not tend to have meetings with strangers,” Dream leaned back in his seat with a playful gaze.
“Oh! My name!” Hob suddenly realised. “Right, sorry.” He got his own ID from his pocket and showed it to Dream. “I’m Hob.”
Dream read it with a curious expression. “Your ID says Robert.”
“Yeah, but my friends call me Hob.” He pocketed the ID again.
“And that is what we are?” There were equal parts intrigue and wonder in Dream’s voice.
“If you’d like…?” Hob said, suddenly unsure what Dream wanted out of this interaction.
Then there was that small smile again, and Hob knew he'd do anything to see it more often. “I would. Hob Gadling.”
The way Dream said his name made Hob’s breath catch in his throat. The soft rumble that came out of those pink lips seemed to caress each syllable as if it were something precious.
“So you’re a manager at a coffee shop?” Dream brought a pretzel to his mouth and his tongue darted out to get it.
Hob tried not to stare too much at that and almost succeeded. “Uh, yeah. I came here to meet up with my mates straight from my shift. I’ve switched jobs a lot, though. I’ve been a handyman, mechanic, even managed a flower shop for a few months.”
“I see. And you enjoy this lifestyle?” The evident interest in Dream’s voice made Hob feel heady.
“I do,” Hob nodded sincerely. “I get to meet different sorts of people, and I learn a lot too. There’s so much to see out there, you know?”
Dream stared at him thoughtfully for a few moments. “But?”
“But… what?” Hob furrowed his eyebrows.
“You seem wistful. Do you wish for a job you haven’t tried yet?”
Hob was so taken aback he felt himself sober up a few degrees. He hadn’t expected to be figured out so quickly and easily by someone he just met.
“I apologise,” Dream said with a concerned frown. “I didn’t mean to ask such a personal question.”
“No, no, it’s okay,” Hob hurriedly said, willing himself to calm down from whatever facial expression he’d been wearing. “I was just surprised, that’s all. No one’s read me that well before,” he smiled to lighten the mood.
“Perhaps they weren’t interested enough.”
In my experience?”
“In you.”
Hob felt a warmth in his chest that seemed to reach his ears. He chuckled and glanced down for a moment. “Well, um, I always wanted to be a professor. Got my degree and everything, all that's left is to actually apply but…” he shrugged. “Things were pretty rough a few years ago, and I wasn’t in the right headspace to have a career with that kind of responsibility. So I took on other jobs first, and I guess I just haven’t broken that habit yet.”
Dream nodded. “I see.” He looked like he wanted to say something else, and Hob recognised that curiosity.
Normally he would redirect the conversation; people didn’t like emotional baggage being brought up during what was supposed to just be a night of flirting, but Dream didn’t seem like the type to prefer shallow conversations. And Hob wasn’t either.
“It was a nasty breakup,” Hob said. “I proposed. Turned out that while I was spending weeks looking for the perfect engagement ring, she was planning her breakup speech.” He huffed out a chuckle. “Took a while to pick myself back up.” He reached for a pretzel and ate it just to have something to do. He hadn’t talked about it in a long time, and he wasn’t sure what reaction to expect.
“I was engaged once,” Dream said, making Hob glance at him. “We had moved to Greece for our jobs. Eventually we realised we were too different, and that the engagement was our last desperate attempt to make things work between us. We broke it off, and I moved back here.” He finished the drink in his glass.
“Ah.” Hob searched for the right words to say. “I didn’t mean to remind you of all that, sorry. And now I feel like a sod complaining about what happened to me,” he chuckled lightly. “You had to move countries and you’re still doing really well in your work.”
Dream shook his head. “Comparing our suffering only compounds it,” he said gently. “Better to focus on what we have now. ‘It’s good to touch the earth with your bare feet,’ as my sister would say,” he gave a small smile.
Hob felt himself smile back. “You said she was the one who dragged you out here tonight, right? I’ll have to thank her for this spontaneous date, then.”
Dream made a huff that was almost a chuckle. “A date? I have not even bought you a drink yet.” He raised a hand to call the attention of a passing waiter. “A glass of vermouth, please. Sweet.” He handed over his empty glass to the waiter and turned to Hob. “And for the gentleman…?”
“Oh, uh, a gin and tonic, please,” Hob told the waiter.
“Right away,” the waiter nodded politely and headed to the bar.
“Hey,” Hob turned to Dream. “I was the one who approached you, I’m the one who should buy you a drink, right?” He had been planning to, but Dream invited him to a table and it took priority in his mind.
“Perhaps you could buy me one on our second date,” Dream smirked playfully. “I believe you said midsummer?”
“I don’t think I can wait that long,” Hob said without thinking. He almost said it was just a joke, but the look in Dream’s eyes was far from disapproving.
The waiter arrived with their drinks and placed them on the table. Dream thanked him without breaking eye contact with Hob.
“Perhaps we shouldn’t.” Dream picked up his glass. “Wait that long.” He took a drink, and Hob’s eyes got drawn to the bob of his throat.
“Are we already planning a second date when the first one isn’t even done yet?” Hob grinned.
“Do you object?” Dream raised an eyebrow.
“No,” Hob said, probably louder than necessary. “Just can’t believe my luck, that’s all.”
They talked over their drinks and pretzels, and Dream turned out to be as good of a talker as a listener. Hob enjoyed listening to his deep voice as Dream told him about the process of reimagining the plays at the theatre, and the cat that he had adopted ever since moving back here, a black Main Coon named Sable. Dream spoke of him with such fondness that Hob almost asked to meet him.
Hob told Dream about his varying work experiences, his realisation that he loved learning new things and meeting all sorts of people, and that was why he couldn’t seem to stay in one job for very long. He talked about how he started buying coffee beans and a coffee maker a few weeks into working at the café because he wanted to experiment with his own recipes, and the regulars who always seemed to cheer up whenever they find a misspelling in their names on the cups, and so Hob sometimes misspelled their names on purpose when they looked like they were having a bad day.
Dream listened, and gave those small smiles that Hob was very nearly getting addicted to. They ordered more drinks, and Hob insisted on paying for some, so Dream paid for chips and then nachos. He encouraged Hob to be a professor on his next career change, and for the first time in a long time, Hob actually considered it.
At some point Hob told the story of his first attempt at making his own espresso drink at home, how he had more confidence than skill and ended up spitting out very expensive ingredients. Dream laughed so brightly that Hob sent a quick message in the groupchat with his friends that he wouldn’t be leaving the bar with them tonight. No matter how this night would end for him and Dream, Hob wanted to spend as much time with him as humanly possible.
***
Hob woke up with a pounding headache and a dry mouth. He groaned and moved to roll to his side, then nearly fell off when his body met what felt like a small table instead of the other side of his bed.
He blinked himself to full consciousness and realised he was on a couch. A fluffy black cat was sitting on the armrest at his feet, regarding him with yellow eyes that shone in the dimness of the living room.
I don't have a cat, Hob’s hungover brain managed.
Bits and pieces of the night before flashed in Hob’s mind. Blue eyes sparkling with mirth. A deep chuckle. Rosy pink lips forming a name.
Hob sat up properly and stared at the cat. “Sable…?” he guessed.
The cat's ears perked up and his tail swished once, his eyes still looking at Hob.
I'm in Dream’s house, Hob realised with awe.
He looked around and took in his surroundings.
Thick curtains were drawn at the windows and the lights were off, keeping the room dim, so he wasn’t sure what time it was. The coffee table appeared to have been dragged to be right next to the couch, judging by the tracks on the carpet. On the table was a glass of water with a plastic lid, next to a small packet of painkillers. There was a Post-It note beside it, and Hob leaned over and squinted to read the smooth cursive.
For your headache. -Dream
He felt himself smile, despite the disorientation. He squeezed his eyes shut and tried to remember what exactly happened last night.
“How do you plan on going home?” Dream asked as they exited the bar into the cool night air, Hob leaning against him for support because walking properly was a sober man’s game.
“That’s not fair, you know,” Hob frowned as Dream gently propped him up against the wall. “You drank about as much as me, how are you not wobbling?” he pointed an accusatory finger at Dream.
Dream smiled in amusement. “Did you have dinner at all tonight? Chips and nachos do not count.”
Hob tried to recall the last few hours. “S’pose not. We were gonna order food, me and my mates. But then we saw you and then I walked over and…” he gestured vaguely to nothing in particular. “Here we are.”
Dream sighed, but his gaze looked fond. “If I had known you were operating on an empty stomach, I would have ordered more substantial food with our drinks.” He furrowed his eyebrows in concern. “Will you even be able to take a cab in your state?”
“Sure, I can call one.” Hob pulled out his phone and pressed uselessly at the unlock button a few times before realising the battery was drained. “Hm. S’just a brick now.” He tapped it firmly on his palm a few times as if jostling it would do anything.
“I live just a few blocks from here,” Dream said, watching Hob repeatedly attempt to return his phone to his pocket and finally succeeding at the fifth try. “Can I invite you to stay at my place? Just so you won’t have to travel by yourself tonight.”
Hob perked up at that. He straightened up to agree, but in doing so left the support of the wall. “Woah—”
Dream caught him by the waist before he fell face-first onto the pavement. “Careful.”
Hob grabbed Dream’s shoulders to steady himself, and realised Dream’s arms were around him. “You’re really nice,” he said with a dopey grin. “Your serious face is a bit scary at first, but under that you’re really sweet.” He tapped the tip of Dream’s nose with his finger.
Dream was trying to hold back a smile and only partially succeeding. “You’re drunk.”
“And you’re pretty.” Hob leaned forward to emphasise his point, which made Dream stumble a bit backwards.
Dream chuckled and shook his head fondly. “Come along, my car is parked nearby.”
“Oh my god,” Hob whispered, putting a hand to his reddening face. He probably looked so idiotic last night. He had to find Dream so he could apologise profusely and buy him breakfast or something. Was it even time for breakfast yet?
He turned to Sable. “Hey, buddy. Do you know where I can find your human?”
Sable walked in a circle three times before curling up on the armrest, facing away from Hob. Evidently not wanting anything to do with whatever mess Hob had gotten himself into.
“Yeah, I don't blame you,” Hob sighed.
He straightened up on the couch and took a painkiller, gratefully finishing the entire glass of water. He glanced at the smaller couch next to the wall and noticed that a phone was charging. His phone.
Hob smiled. Dream really was sweet. His drunk self had it right.
He stood up, slowly, because his head still hurt with every movement and it somehow felt very rude to disrupt Sable's nap. The cat had an air of sophistication to him much like his owner; Hob wouldn't be surprised if Dream spoke Greek to Sable.
Hob sat on the smaller couch and turned on his phone. After a few seconds, the screen showed that it was past 10 AM. Bit late for breakfast, then. Where was Dream? Hob doubted that he would leave his house with a practical stranger in it.
A series of notifications on his phone drew his attention. Some of them were messages from last night, replies from his friends in the groupchat when Hob said they could leave the bar without him. They were playfully cheering him on and that was that.
Though the next batch of messages was still coming in, arriving one after the other now that Hob’s phone was able to receive them.
Hal: @Hob darling did you make it home safe?
Ken: how was tall pale n handsome
Frank: guys he’s not even seeing the messages 👀
Ken: probably still asleep
Ken: all shagged out
Abel: what’s happening? i don’t join one night out and suddenly hob’s getting laid???
Hal: hopefully 💕
Frank: holy shit did the pickup lines work
Hob chuckled and shook his head. He began to type out a reply that yes he was safe, and no he was not shagged out by any means and only just made a fool of himself.
He was about to hit send when he realised he wasn’t wearing the same shirt he had on last night. In fact, he didn’t recognise these clothes at all. He was pretty sure he didn’t own a white sweater with the design of a black cat on it, and the grey sweatpants he was currently wearing wasn’t his either.
What.
He locked his phone and placed it down beside him. What else happened?
They stumbled into the living room, Dream closing the front door while Hob’s arm was around his shoulders. He switched on the light and got Hob to sit on the couch. It was cooler indoors compared to the warmth of Dream’s car, and Hob made a noise of complaint when Dream made a move to disentangle himself from Hob’s side.
“I shall get you some water,” Dream explained and stood up.
Hob’s brain didn’t process the words and at that moment he only cared that Dream’s warmth was leaving him. He reached out and clumsily pulled Dream back; Dream gave a surprised shout as they both flailed and fell over, Hob landing flat on his back on the couch with Dream on top of him.
Dream’s blue eyes were wide with surprise, his dark hair looking as soft as clouds. Hob wanted to touch but was afraid of ruining it somehow. Clouds weren’t meant to be touched, only admired. Or else they would disappear into mist or raindrops and be gone.
“You’re beautiful,” Hob breathed, his hands resting on Dream’s back.
Dream’s gaze softened and his lips lifted at the corners, and Hob felt his heart race at being so close to that smile. So close.
“As you are,” Dream said quietly, his warm breath caressing Hob’s mouth.
“‘Specially your eyes,” Hob continued. “They light up. When you talk about your cat. And that bloke Shakespeare. What’s so good about ‘im anyway?” he frowned.
Dream chuckled and dipped his head, lightly touching their foreheads together for a moment before looking at Hob again.
“And then I thought…” Hob tried to find the words. It felt important to say them. “I’d do anything for you to look at me like that. With that bright fondness in your eyes.”
Dream’s smile melted off his face, replaced by a look of surprise.
“And then you did,” Hob’s kept speaking quietly, just loud enough for Dream to hear. “When I told you I’d live a hundred more years because there’s so much to live for. I dunno why you looked at me that way when I said it, but you did. And I wanted to kiss you right then.”
Dream swallowed, his eyes dropping to Hob’s mouth.
“I still do,” Hob whispered. He reached up and brushed a lock of hair from Dream’s forehead.
“Hob,” Dream’s tone held a warning, though it was softened by the waver in his voice.
“Dream…” Hob let his hand drop to the side of Dream’s face, his thumb lightly brushing over a pale cheekbone, watching a hint of pink blossom on the skin.
He kept his gentle hold on Dream’s face as they moved closer, their noses touching, their breaths mixing as their parted lips were only a hair’s breadth away—
Hob’s eyes were wide as he sat frozen on the couch. His heart raced and his cheeks flushed at the memory. But… that was it. His memories ended there.
He shut his eyes tight and desperately tried to remember what happened next. If he and Dream kissed then surely, surely, he would remember it? The press of those soft pink lips, the slide of tongue against his own…
He opened his eyes and huffed out a breath in exasperation. Nothing. And he’s wearing Dream’s clothes! If they did shag and he couldn’t remember a second of it, he would never forgive himself. He would swear off drinking forever if it meant he could remember it all.
“Ah, I see you've met Sable.”
Hob’s eyes snapped up to the sound of that voice.
Dream was standing by the other couch and scratching Sable under the chin. Sable was purring appreciatively and leaning into Dream’s touch, and Dream glanced down at the cat with such soft fondness on his face that it calmed Hob’s nerves.
“Would you care to join me in the dining room?” Dream turned to Hob again. “I just finished cooking.” He was wearing a blue apron over a black sweater similar to Hob’s, and black joggers that hung low on his hips.
“I…” Hob had so many questions and no idea how to voice out any of them. “You cooked?” he said instead.
Dream nodded. “Given that it was my fault you didn’t get to eat dinner last night, I thought it only polite to make breakfast for you. Although it’s technically brunch now.”
“Yeah, um…” Hob stood up but wasn’t sure what to say. He still couldn’t remember the entirety of last night—to his eternal regret—and he didn’t know what their dynamic was supposed to be now. “Thanks for charging my phone,” he smiled and gestured to it.
“It’s fortunate that we have the same model,” Dream returned the smile. He gave Sable a few scratches behind the ears before the cat decided to move to where Hob had been sleeping, scratching his claws a few times into the cushions before stretching his body and lying down to continue his nap.
Hob remembered reading somewhere that cats scratched at furniture to leave their scent and mark their territory, and Sable doing that to the place where Hob had been seemed quite telling.
“Shall we head to the dining room while the food is still warm?” Dream asked.
Hob nodded and followed him.
The rest of the house wasn’t nearly as dim as the living room; all the curtains were open and sunlight streamed in, dappling softly on the floor and furniture.
“Oh, should I keep the curtains closed here as well?” Dream must have noticed him staring at the windows.
“What?” Hob turned to him. “No, it’s fine… Wait, you kept the living room dark for me?”
Dream nodded. “Bright light is painful for hangovers. I can draw the curtains here too, if you’d like. Have a seat, please,” he gestured to the dining table before removing his apron and hanging it on a hook in the kitchen.
“No, it’s okay, I don’t mind the sunlight,” Hob said as he sat down.
Dream took a seat across from him, and without the apron Hob could see that his black sweater was dotted with white stars.
“Hob,” Dream’s voice resurfaced in Hob’s memory.
“Dream…” Hob brushed his thumb over a smooth cheekbone.
Dream’s pupils were blown wide, almost covering all the blue of his eyes. They reflected the light, and Hob could imagine the pinpricks of white to be galaxies, and he was more than willing to get lost in them.
Dream’s weight was pressing him down pleasantly on the couch, and Hob’s eyes fluttered shut, his breath held in anticipation as Dream leaned in closer.
“Hob? Are you alright?”
Hob grabbed the pitcher of water and poured himself a glass, gulping everything down. “Mm-hm.”
He kept remembering that moment on the couch, and he could feel his mind dangerously close to filling in the blanks of what could have happened, and he really needed to cool down instead of fantasising about the man in front of him who he may or may not have slept with.
“Did you take the painkiller?”
“Yeah, I did. Thanks for that, by the way,” Hob tried for a smile, but he still couldn’t quite meet Dream’s eyes. He looked around at the food and tried to decide which one to get first.
“I… apologise.”
Hob looked at Dream and saw that his shoulders were tense and drawn up, like he was trying to look formal and hide himself at the same time.
“Is this… too much?” Dream’s gaze was guarded but Hob thought he glimpsed a hint of sadness in them. “You may leave anytime you wish, of course. I just thought… you might want some food.” He glanced down but kept his posture straight. “But if you prefer to go—”
“What? No, Dream—” Hob suddenly felt panicked. Did he just hurt Dream somehow? “I don’t wanna leave. Why would you think that?”
Dream met his eyes and frowned in confusion. “You seem… uncomfortable. I am aware that our agreement was only for you to stay the night, and it is nearly noon now. So I understand if—”
“Dream, it’s not that,” Hob didn’t want him to think those things at all. “I just…” he shifted in his seat. “Why… Why am I wearing your clothes…?” Might as well be direct about it.
Dream’s eyebrows lifted in surprise.
“I don’t remember, I’m sorry,” Hob blurted out. “I— Fuck,” he breathed, running a hand down his face. “I want to remember. God, the first time I wake up with missing memories in someone else’s home and it’s with you of all people. I’m… I’m so sorry, Dream,” he shook his head in remorse.
Dream blinked, his shoulders relaxing. “Hob. Why would you apologise for such a thing?”
“Well I don't want you to think that it didn't mean anything to me,” Hob’s eyes dropped to his plate and he fidgeted with his fork. “Which it did, whatever it was. Whether it was just a— a kiss or— or something else—” he stammered and looked to see Dream’s reaction.
Realisation appeared on Dream's face, and an amused smile slowly graced his lips and brightened his features. “Hob Gadling. If we had slept together, why would you be on the couch and not my bed?”
“I don't know!” Hob said defensively, his cheeks heating up. “Maybe we didn't make it to the bedroom? I don't remember!”
Dream looked down and was really trying hard to fight a smile. The adorable sight of it began to calm Hob a bit, especially when Dream met his eyes again. “I would have taken you to my bed. I'll have you know I'm a gentleman. Unless requested otherwise,” he added in a low voice and smirked.
Hob’s breath hitched. God, this man was going to kill him.
Then something sparked in his mind, a memory that surfaced after Dream's remark about being a gentleman.
Dream’s lips were so close to his that Hob could almost taste them.
Then Dream pulled away and placed a firm hand on Hob’s chest. “Tomorrow,” he said decisively, a slight tremble in his voice.
Hob opened his eyes.
“Tomorrow. If this is still what you want,” Dream explained, then he pulled away entirely and stood up, disappearing from Hob’s field of vision.
Hob blinked repeatedly, still reeling from the whiplash. Dream was going to kiss him, right? What happened?
“For now, you must hydrate or your mouth will feel so parched tomorrow.” Dream had returned, and Hob instinctively sat up at the sound of his voice.
He knocked over the glass that Dream had been handing over to him, spilling the water all over his shirt and trousers.
Hob flinched back and grimaced. “Cold.”
“Oh dear.” Dream picked up the now empty glass that had fallen on the couch and placed it on the coffee table. “I shall get you a change of clothes. Wait here, and please don't touch anything else or you might hurt yourself. Stay here, do you understand?” Dream cupped Hob’s face and gently lifted it to make Hob look at him.
Hob smiled at the feeling of Dream’s hand on his skin, and he nodded. “I'll wait for you.”
Dream smiled fondly and walked away.
“Oh,” Hob said in realisation, the memories coming back to him.
“You remember now?”
“Yeah,” Hob nodded. “You handed me the clothes and I just took off my shirt right there, because somehow it made sense to me to just change in front of you,” he cringed. “And then that was when you left, right?”
“Yes,” Dream said with an amused smile. “I said a hasty good night and retreated to my room before you decided to take off your trousers as well.”
“Yeah I remember that too,” Hob put a hand to his temple, his headache had dulled but the sudden wave of embarrassment seemed to be worsening it. “Can we eat now? I think I'd rather forget about everything again.”
Dream laughed, a soft and bright one that immediately put Hob at ease. “Of course.”
It was a pleasant surprise, how easily they slipped back into comfortable conversation after all the misunderstanding and awkwardness. They finished eating and Hob insisted that he would wash the dishes since Dream already cooked everything.
“Thanks again for letting me crash at your couch,” Hob said as he put the last of the dishes in the drying rack. “I don't think I've gotten that drunk since uni.”
“I just didn't want you waking up at a bus station somewhere,” Dream quipped and finished putting the leftovers in the fridge.
Hob chuckled and leaned back against the counter. “So uh, do you have any plans today? What do you usually do on Saturdays?”
Dream stood beside him and leaned on the counter too, crossing his arms thoughtfully. “It varies. Sometimes I’d go to a restaurant I’d never been to before, or visit my friend who works at the library. Oh, and there’s a museum a short drive away that holds a different art gallery every month. I try to see the new exhibits whenever I can. I had no prior plans for today, though.” He tilted his head slightly to the side. “Do you have anything in mind?”
Hob grinned, he couldn’t help it; Dream wanted to keep spending time with him. “I do, yeah. There’s a park here that recently displayed murals because it’s summer, they got a theme going on and everything. I think the artworks are made by high school and college kids. I’ve passed by it a few times but never really got to see it yet. What do you think?”
Dream’s eyes lit up, and Hob knew he’d take him anywhere just to see that again. “I would gladly see the murals with you. Are they accessible at any time or is there a scheduled exhibit?”
“Let me check. They posted it online.” Hob instinctively reached for his pockets but found them empty. “Oh right, my phone's in the living room.”
“Ah. I would check the schedule myself, but I'm afraid something's wrong with my phone.” Dream took his phone from the counter, then unlocked it and looked down at the screen.
Hob furrowed his eyebrows. “What’s wrong with it?”
“Your phone number's not in it.” Dream held it out to Hob, a smirk playing on his lips.
Hob just stared in surprise for a few seconds before chuckling in disbelief. Of all the people he would have expected to use a pickup line, Dream wasn’t one of them. He wasn’t complaining about receiving it, though.
He took Dream’s phone and began typing in his number. “Couldn’t wait, huh?” he said playfully. “You know I’m not just leaving, love. We’re still going to that park.” The endearment slipped out without Hob intending it to, and he snapped up his gaze to look at Dream’s reaction. Luckily Dream didn’t seem to mind.
“I enjoyed our conversation so much last night that I had forgotten to ask for your phone number. I would not risk it happening again,” Dream said as he took his phone back.
“I’m actually relieved to hear that,” Hob sheepishly tugged at his earlobe. “I’d been a bit worried that I was too knackered last night and might have made such a fool of myself. I enjoyed our time together too, and I’m glad I remember all of it now, even the embarrassing moments.”
“Oh make no mistake, you were undoubtedly knackered last night,” Dream said with fond amusement. “But I never once thought you were a fool.” He pressed something on his phone and Hob heard his ringtone coming from the living room. “And now you have my number as well.”
Hob grinned. “Am I supposed to follow the three-day-rule and wait three days before calling you?”
“Already planning a second date when the first one isn’t even done yet?” Dream repeated Hob’s words from last night.
“And a third, if you've got no objections,” Hob raised his eyebrows playfully.
“Oh?” Dream straightened up and took a step closer. “And what third date activities do you have in mind?” His gaze lowered and slowly climbed back up, scanning Hob’s body until their eyes met again.
Hob felt goosebumps prickle on his skin as if Dream were actually touching him. He wet his lips with his tongue, catching how Dream’s eyes followed the movement. “I've got a few activities in mind, yeah. Though I don't know if I wanna wait until three dates.”
“Is that so?” A smirk pulled at the corner of Dream’s mouth as he took another step closer, his voice dropping to a low rumble. “Tell me, what do you desire?”
Hob swallowed. “You can't just say things like that with that voice.”
“What voice?” Dream took another step and he was near enough now that Hob could see how soft his eyelashes looked.
“Last night, you said something…” Hob reached up and traced with light fingers the star patterns on Dream's sweater, near his neckline, his shoulders, because if he didn't touch Dream in some way he might just implode.
“We both said a great deal of things last night.”
“You said…” Hob lifted his hand to Dream's chin, his thumb sweeping softly just under the bottom lip. “If this is still what I wanted…” he stared into Dream’s eyes, his heart hammering in anticipation.
Dream surged forward and suddenly Hob was pressed back against the counter, Dream’s lips against his.
A surprised—and very pleased—groan slipped out of Hob, his hands flying to cup Dream’s face.
Dream’s hands were on the counter, Hob caged in his arms. And damn if Hob didn't feel a certain way about that.
Hob could have lived forever in this moment, the soft slide of their tongues, the warmth of Dream’s body against his. But Dream’s mouth brushed down his jawline and onto his neck, clever lips and tongue making his blood run hotter.
Hob could only whimper and throw his head back to give Dream more access. He buried his hands in Dream’s hair, soft midnight threading through his fingers. Dream nipped at his sensitive flesh, and Hob’s hips twitched of their own accord.
Dream made a pleased hum and moved his kisses upwards. “My bedroom is nearby, unless you are partial to the couch. I could ask Sable to give us some privacy,” he said teasingly, his breath hot against Hob’s ear.
“Anywhere,” Hob gasped as Dream gently bit his earlobe. “Fuck, you can have me on the dining table.”
Dream chuckled and slid his hands from Hob’s waist to his stomach and up to his chest, fists clenching in the front of Hob's shirt. He pulled away just enough to look at Hob. “Nonsense. Gentleman, remember?” He stepped back and yanked Hob towards the bedroom with a force that was decidedly not gentlemanly.
Dream’s back slammed against the closed door as Hob pressed their lips and bodies together again, the few seconds they were apart becoming too unbearable. Dream managed to turn the knob behind him and they stumbled into the bedroom, only parting long enough to practically tear each other's sweaters off.
Hob fell backwards onto the bed, bringing Dream down with him. They were a tangle of limbs and sighs and groans, then Dream was straddling him, grinding his hips down and driving Hob near delirious with want.
Dream was breathing heavily above him, and Hob wanted more of it. Wanted to see this beautiful creature give in to pleasure.
He reached a hand between them and palmed at the hard bulge tenting Dream’s joggers.
Dream gave a cry of surprise and broke the kiss to gasp, and Hob wasted no time in freeing Dream’s cock from the confines of his clothes. He began a slow stroke, and Dream leaned forward to latch his mouth onto Hob’s neck, lavishing it with attention that sent more heat straight to Hob's groin.
Hob clenched his jaw—even as a moan escaped him—and sped up his hand around Dream’s length, precome slicking the way and causing Dream’s hips to twitch.
“Hob,” Dream breathed against the shell of his ear, and for a second Hob thought he would come just from hearing his name in that voice, with Dream’s hips erratically rolling above his cock through layers of fabric.
“Let go for me, love,” Hob’s voice sounded wrecked to his own ears.
He twisted his hand and Dream came with a whine, burying his face in Hob’s neck and spending all over Hob's hand. His hips were still stuttering when he pressed their foreheads together, his eyelids fluttering as he caught his breath.
Hob slowed his strokes to a stop, his other hand cupping Dream’s face. “Good?” he asked gently, fond and teasing.
Dream pulled away to meet Hob’s gaze, and it was enough to melt Hob’s grin off his face as he saw the intensity in those blue eyes.
Dream shifted to move further backwards, and before Hob knew what was happening, Dream had positioned himself between Hob’s parted legs and pulled down the sweatpants to reveal Hob’s straining cock.
Hob couldn't look away, anticipating Dream’s long fingers wrapped around him, and so he yelped when Dream used his mouth instead, the soft heat enveloping Hob and setting his nerves on fire. Hob’s eyes fell shut, his elbows trembling as he leaned back on the mattress.
Dream worked him slowly, taking him in inch by torturous inch as his tongue swirled in ways that left Hob breathless and squirming and doing his very best not to thrust into Dream’s sinful mouth.
Hob sank further down Dream’s throat, and his arms finally gave out as he felt Dream swallow around him. His head hit the pillow and he clenched his hands into the sheets, a wounded groan reverberating in his chest.
“Dream… Dream… Fuck—” his hips jerked upwards when he felt a light graze of teeth on the underside of his cock. His thighs were trembling, and desperate moans laced with Dream’s name kept slipping past his lips.
Dream hummed around him and moved his hands to stroke the inside of Hob's thighs, all at once soothing and fueling the fire that was very quickly pooling low in Hob’s belly. Dream bobbed his head up and down languidly, and it was all too much and not nearly enough.
“Please,” Hob sobbed. His entire body felt aflame, and he couldn't take another second of it even as he wanted it to last forever.
Dream took him down to the hilt and swallowed repeatedly, his fingernails raking lightly along Hob’s thighs.
Hob arched his back and came with a garbled cry, unable to stop the tremors running through him.
Dream kept swallowing, making Hob thrash his head from side to side as he was flung higher and higher.
Hob must have blacked out for a second, because when he opened his eyes, Dream was looming over him with a satisfied smirk.
“Good?” Dream licked his bottom lip.
Hob was still panting, and it took a few seconds for enough oxygen to get into his brain for him to form words. “I'm so glad we did this today and not last night,” he said breathlessly. “No way in hell I'll forget this.”
Dream huffed out a laugh and nestled himself beside Hob, his face snuggled at the crook of Hob's neck, his hand idly drawing circles on Hob’s chest.
“You can stay the weekend, if you'd like.” Dream's voice was quiet, tinged with hesitance, as if Hob would ever say no to that while of sound mind and body.
Hob regained control of his limbs and wrapped an arm around Dream, turning to face him and pulling him closer. “Sounds perfect, love,” he rested his chin on Dream's hair. “Would give me more than enough time to get you back for what you just put me through.”
Dream chuckled low in his chest. “I would love to see you try, Hob Gadling.”
“Oh, I will.” Hob closed his eyes and let himself get lost in the even rhythm of their breathing, settling into their embrace as if they were always meant to fit in each other's arms.
