What is 100 Baby Warehouse?

It is exactly what it sounds like - it's a collection of sims that were the results of 100 baby challenges. In other words, this is a warehouse of sorts, and the only thing stocked here are sims. If you are looking for a spouse for your legacy, and you know exactly the kind of sims your heir likes, you may be able to find exactly what you're looking for here - if you're looking for a family-motivated male young adult, browse our selection to see if there's someone who fits your parameters. Are there only "The Sims 4" sims here?

Absolutely not! You can play a 100 baby challenge in almost every sims game - I'm not sure about The Sims 1, but I know for a fact you can in 2 and 3. So, in our navigation page there will also be sections for sims strictly in TS2 and TS3.

I'm playing a 100 Baby Challenge right now. Can I submit a sim?

Yes!! Please! This blog will be EMPTY if no one submits sims, because I simply cannot play that many 100 baby challenges at once. I'm playing 2 right now, and that's hard enough.

Will you have sims for download if no one submits any?

Well, yes. But not very many, and not a good variety. There will be no TS3 or TS2 sims if no one submits any, because I don't currently have either installed. So please, if you have sims you want to share, please do!

Can I just make a post and tag you so you can reblog it, instead of submitting my sims?

That's perfectly fine too! I just have the submission page to make things easier on everyone, but if you want to make the post yourself and tag me, that works just as well. Just add @100babywarehouse anywhere on your post, and I'll see it and add it to the sim collection.

I don't play 100 baby challenge, but I want to submit a legacy spare. Is that okay?

While this is called 100 Baby Warehouse, this is also fine. I will have a specific category for legacy spares on the navigation pages, because I know that most people play legacies more than 100 baby challenges (including myself). Otherwise, this blog might be rather empty, and I don't want that! Either way, as long as the sim would normally be kicked out of the main house and forgotten, left to the whims of story progression, the sim is welcome in this collection.

If this is the 100 baby warehouse, does that mean there are only babies/infants, toddlers, and children here?

No! Definitely not! Sims of any age can be added to our "inventory." Even adults and elders. So if you want several teens for the teen angst story you are wanting to write, have a look around our teen category.

I've had the idea of helping out the Jewish community here on tumblr and providing a safe way to browse Jewish tags without encountering antisemitism and spam. I occasionally checked tags for friends, so I thought, why not make it a whole thing?

I don't know, maybe it won't be necessary, and there's little to be filtered out, which I would honestly prefer, but even if it only helps one person browse Jumblr or related tags in peace, then I'm happy.

What I'll sort out:

antisemitism (obviously, but more specifically, posts aimed at the Jewish community for the purpose of causing harm. I won't sort out discussions about antisemitism or antisemitism experiences.)

spam (like pornbots or unrelated posts that get tagged with a bajillion tags)

I'll keep all the original tags, and might add more specific tags for searching or so specific things get caught in people's filters. (I will try to remove personal tags like 'mine', 'my stuff', etc. but stuff might slip through. Please message me if it happens so I can remove the wrong tag.)

Recommended tags to filter:

"anon hate" for hateful asks people get. I will still reblog those because of people's answers, but for those who don't want to encounter these types of posts, this is the tag to filter. hello. it might be an odd question or maybe, you've got it before. you prob did. but how did you find like-minded folks? as someone with specific tastes, i wonder if simply posting stuff is enough. and it's not even that i want friends. i just want to see different kinds of content and takes on things. which is why i tend to visit your blog from time to time. we don't even share ships, but you have your own vision and i respect that.

Hiya! Not odd at alll, trying to find artists, friends, and acquaintances is one of the big questions of social media. Especially if you're into very niche stuff (old man butthole).

Thanks for hanging out even if you don't have the exact same interests 😃 I find that's who I tend to follow... I like other people's passion in their interests! Whereas I'm usually one out of two people who have the same ship (the other one lives with me) haha.

Honestly I mostly just post stuff. I don't browse social media much anymore ever since the tumblr nsfw ban 😭

The only place I actively look for artists now is the fediverse, especially cuz the server i'm on is explicitly kink and lgbtq friendly. So I almost never see like "freaks dni" sorta people on my timeline, which gives me massive diarheaa on every other socmed. Downside is of course the small size makes it so there's less posts to browse through, but sometimes staying small is nice.. you can talk to what people made the effort to post even if no one else is :)

Before the NSFW ban, I actually made my closest friend just by posting stuff! Way back in the DeviantArt days, I was the only one in the [band yaoi] tag, and another person happened to be browsing that niche tag with one thing in it. We started talking.. and now we are pregnant with 5 kids. So even if there's literally no one else in the tag but you, you can still find other people in that niche!

Makes me think of that story where those tumblr people got married cuz they were both in some niche self-ship tag...

A lot of the people I talk to now are from just posting stuff too. Not even just art, but even just yapping about random shit like dogs or ships or farming. I always wait for the other person to start a convo LMAO but other people seem to find connections by being proactive!

I also met some other like-minded people by joining art and fandom events, and hosting them! Some events are run better than others, some have a nicer crowd, and you might vibe with different people depending on the niches (i almost never do broad events with no subject, I do a lot better if you give me a subject like "chinese food" or "evil lesbians". I found a lot of cool artists that make OCs by hosting artcade, i found a lot of chill creative TF2 fans by hosting the Gore Zine and Gorl Scouts Zine.

Yeah it's scary to put yourself out there, cuz there's always hordes of unwashed basement dwellers waiting to jump on you for liking art of necromance or whatever. But it should be worth it to build up a lil net of art and writing to enjoy, and knowing that there's other people with similar interests out there...

We're childhood best friends who have been together going on 3 years now and we're very excited to join Tumblr's lesbian community and meet more people like us.

hm. well....... see. there's a short answer to this and there's a long answer. the short answer is yes, but also do whatever the hell you want

the long answer is that for the most part my instinct when i see people who ship my notp is to block them, because i don't ever want to see that content and i don't want those people to see mine. this is basically how i navigated the 8path fandom on twitter because my notp is everywhere and i had a separate account where i just wanted to enjoy my ships. i avoided browsing on my main account because i specifically avoided blocking people on that account.

now that my main twitter has been suspended and i'm mostly on tumblr, where blocks are tied to my entire account, i've been trying to decide what works best for me... i'm still leaning towards NOT blocking people because thankfully tumblr has a much better tagging culture and blacklisting feature than twitter, but tumblr mobile in particular doesn't let me hide blacklisted posts entirely so i still feel like i'm... being made aware of my notps way more often than i'd like.

i also know i'm just a hater and i don't like a lot of Very popular ships (aka the ships that are """unanimously""" agreed upon) so especially in a big fandom like aa it's just straight up impossible for me to block everyone who ships a notp. i Also know that, just like i said in my previous answer, a lot of people like nahyuta in that specific ship context and i think it's unrealistic for me to expect everyone who looks at my art to enjoy it the way i want it to be enjoyed. i just want people to know where i stand and that i'm never going to provide that kind of content.

i know this is already very long but i just have a lot of thoughts about this because aahhh being a fanartist online is complicated when you have Opinions. a few years ago i really wanted to stay more open especially because i took commissions and sold merch but over the years and after certain incidents i feel more and more like i want to treat social media as my own space without caring too much about how i'll be perceived... i just don't like the expectation that artists/fanwork creators are expected to be more tolerant so that more people can enjoy their work. if that means one day i go crazy and block a bunch of people then uh so be it... in the end i draw for myself anyway

If you're fairly new to fandom spaces, and especially if you're a minor, there's something you need to be aware of for your safety. I had to learn this the hard way.

Sometimes folks will come into your tags, comments, DMs, or inbox, talking about a character doing something that sounds pretty tame- yawning, sneezing, rapidly changing size, stuff like that- and ask what you think about it, or maybe even ask you to draw it. Oftentimes, if you browse their blog, you'll find they've actually talked about said character doing said thing to a number of people.

The thing is, it's extremely likely this person's interest is not just some harmless curiosity- it's a fetish. And the reason why they're asking so many people about it is because they want to discuss those fetishes covertly, to people completely unaware they're deriving sexual pleasure from it.

Now, I have fetishes myself, though I'm not going to say what they specifically are for my own comfort and privacy. Please don't mistake this as me being anti-kink. Having fetishes is perfectly okay as long as they're engaged in CONSENSUALLY. Specifically, INFORMED CONSENT. If one or more parties has been intentionally left unaware what another party is getting out of something, that is NOT informed consent. That is ABUSE. And it is WRONG.

And an adult discussing their fetish(es) with a minor is ALWAYS NON-CONSENSUAL. They should know better.

So! Lunar Inkclipse is having a great time! I've already submitted my ticket to tumblr support to try and get the issue resolved, since it can happen through just glitches. we are on broken hellsite, after all (affectionate). The biggest tragedy of them all- My comments on any previous post are "unavailable", as if they've been deleted or my account blocked. Also, I cannot make any new ones!! I keep getting error messages- I've also tried to make a side blog and comment with that, but the same issue happens.

all my art is trad/physical media (haven't figured out a way to make digital art accessible yet. maybe someday!!) i like to sculpt in epoxy, plastilene, polymer & stone clay, i like to mold & cast in resin, make & customize various types of dolls, & build puppets; i do custom framed work, mixed media & textile stuff like sewing & embroidery; i paint in oil, acrylic, watercolor, gouache & water soluble graphite & i love ink, markers, crayons & whatever cheap & weird stuff i can get my hands on.

i have a particular affection for props, prop replicas & hypothetical in-universe items, & i like things that are handsome, durable & believable. i'm versatile & innovative, & i'm at my happiest when i'm exploring technical processes. i have quite a bit of knowledge about techniques & materials. i love a challenge!! currently all my sewing is done by hand, i have trouble controlling pedal-operated machines.

Hi, your posts always come up when I’m searching for fanfiction for this one specific character I like. When I’m browsing the search of this character, the majority of your work that pops up are the “darker” themed stories, and I’m not sure if that’s exclusively what you write or if that’s just what’s popping up, but I was hoping to ask you a question. It comes from a place of genuine curiosity, so I hope it doesn’t come across as rude, although it might, and that’s definitely not my intention. I’m genuinely curious as to why you write explicit sexual assault fanfiction? You tag your stories with “noncon,” referring to nonconsensual sex which is obviously rape. I’ve also seen stories tagged with “drugging” and I’m genuinely so confused about the psychology of “dark” writing. I’ve seen some people say it’s a coping mechanism so maybe that’s it? I’m 20 years old, but I cannot imagine being a 13 old girl (which tumblr is FULL of) and seeing stories which have the premises of “hot guy character” and “sex,” and it’s just literal rape or drugging or manipulation (or as you tag, “gaslighting”). I really don’t mean to be harsh, it’s just astounding how you feel comfortable writing that stuff, because it’s not like these “dark” topics are being condemned, it’s very clear that’s it written on the premise of being “forbiddingly sexy”. Because all of these posts are full of supportive comments, it’s so obvious that this normalizes sexual assault and why? All because the guy character doing it is “hot”? My opinion is that it’s so dangerous and I cannot imagine how I would have felt if I had seen these stories and the reactions to them when I was younger as a sexual assault victim myself. As a CSA and SA victim, it's mainly used as a way to cope. It doesn't normalize sexual assault in the slightest, it's simply a kink many victims develop after being abused— everyone has their own ways to cope. NONE of my content including the fluff is ever written for minors, and it is not my responsibility if a minor reads it despite having a huge MDNI in my profile and actively encouraging any minors to get off of my blog.

I believe the time you spent writing something that very clearly comes from a place of judgement could have easily been spent googling your questions, but I'll gladly answer.

Sometimes people develop certain kinks out of fear and trauma— coming from someone living in a very small country where women get raped, kidnapped, and brutally murdered daily and spent years being a shut-in to avoid these things, it definitely comes from the factor of being able to have a controlled environment to write the things I'm scared of. I obviously don't want to be raped or be SAd again in real life, so this is all very clearly a fetish.

The reason why it's not written as condemned is because it's very obviously a kink? I'm not really sure what you expect when you see the warnings and continue reading. Since you mention the "gaslighting" thing I'm going to assume the character you're initially talking about is Simon Riley— and it would have taken you exactly 2 seconds to go to my profile and look at the masterlist with over 20 works to realize that's not all I write in the slightest— actually, I haven't put any of my works of the past 2 weeks in the masterlist because I've gotten lazy, so you'd only see 1 darkfic compared to everything else.

You mention multiple times how you'd feel if you saw my works as a child and that's the thing love, not a single one of my fanfics is ever meant for children or teenagers to read. These are grown men I'm writing about, I don't even want minors reading my fluffy things or even interacting with me at all— but if it helps, as a teenager I used to read works like these and it helped me process A LOT of my trauma later on in life lmfao.

I've been molested as early as I was 6 years old, and this went on most of my life growing up until I was in my late teens, so it's pretty fucking weird to say my fics normalize sexual assault because that's far from what it is, it's simply a FANTASY with FICTIONAL characters, none of it is real and I don't want it to be real, I don't want any of my readers to go through any of these things in real life, so I'm not really sure what the point of even accusing me of that was.

We can pretend that all fans are equally welcome but that's not the case when some people get content a month early and spoil it for others wether intentionally or not. I think the airing of ph really shows it especially with the boys on the podcast being like 'there are spoilers out there! beware!' and as a fan who subscribes to them I think they should have at least one paywalled series that's not a bts thing. They're doing their best but at this point you have to acknowledge that there is resentment here and it ends up being the minority who has to tag extensively spoilers for others. That's not a solution and if someone on their blog wants to share an opinion that it would be fun to get any exclusive content besides 10 minute bonus videos a week then that's their right.

- I am not exactly sure what you mean by this, Anon. What I comprehend from this is that you’re saying fans aren’t equal because some get an extra service and others don’t? The line of reasoning I assume you have here is that: People pay for service -> Some people get early access and post content *spoiling* it for YouTube watchers -> Fandom is not equal.

But like huh? 😭 That is equality like what? Everybody has the same opportunity to access the services, just not everybody wants to/can afford it. That doesn’t equal inequality. If somebody doesn’t pay for the service, they have to understand that they might be subject to spoilers. That’s the trade-off that’s occurring. Like they still CAN browse fandom spaces, but there might be spoilers. And that’s perfectly reasonable!

- Again, not sure what you’re saying here. But I assume you’re making a point that the boys saying that people need to be mindful of spoilers is somehow an example of WatcherTV members having to cater to YouTube members, but that’s not what’s happening at all. They told them to be aware. They didn’t tell us to stop posting early content. They didn’t tell us to mark with spoilers.

- Actually, no you don’t! In fact, you can post whatever you wanna post in whatever fashion you would’ve post it, Anon! Nobody is forcing you to do anything! The thing is, that is the trade-off for not paying. I PERSONALLY tag for spoilers cause I WANT TO and I want people from YT to look at my blog and know that it is partially spoiler free cause I WANT TO HELP THEM. But nobody is forcing you to! You can do WHATEVER you wanna do, Anon. No reasonable person is gonna sit there and be like “Omg no spoiler warning?!?” It’s literally just a YT series. I GUARANTEE you it is not that serious.

- Okay, when I said “You have no right to say certain shows should be paywalled” I should’ve been clearer. Again, shouldn’t have used the word ”right,” and again I’m not anti-exclusive content. Personally, I want an exclusive Minecraft series. And in fact, I don’t even like the behind the scenes content most of the time! I’d like to have a little bit more for my money’s worth! but again, I don’t sit on my blog and post like an asshole constantly making digs at people who don’t pay for the content. I know this is not something you can answer but you are the only famous blog I could find in the arcana twilight tag. I used to play that game , then I took a break , and now that I am back , the fandom feels so dead (???) like there used to be more people here.

Is there any specific reason for that?

I'm not sure if you've caught up to the most current content (Floor 13) but there haven't really been any updates since then. Without getting into specifics, that floor ends on a bit of a cliffhanger but also suggests that the story - or at least that arc of the story - is finished. I'm hoping it's like Obey Me and this is just the end of the first season, but this game already had slow updates so who knows when/if we'll get more story content anytime soon.

If you've caught up to the last floor, there's just not much to do except log in and work on leveling/acquiring cards and unlocking the diaries. I haven't logged in lately since all the characters on my account are at max intimacy except for Pollux, and all my SSR cards are at 100% Milky Way completion. When I have more time, I'd like to work on some sort of back-up of the card art and diary stories.

Story Taco is still working on games (several of them, if their twitter feed is anything to go by) and they put out a recruitment post somewhat recently so maybe they'll come back to ArTw later. That's my hope, anyway.

If you browse the game's main tag, you'll probably come across the other ArTw-centric blogs I follow and are still active. There's a lot of talented writers and artists in this fandom and people sharing card art and diaries and info about their MCs/Summoners. If you're looking for writing specifically, ao3 or wattpad might be helpful too if the tumblr well runs dry.

The most useful search-by-tag results that no one implements would be to have a "RANDOM" option BUT, followed by a "Randomize Again" button, and radio button options of:

75th percentile (of interactions within that tag)

50th percentile

25th percentile

All

If I'm looking at a specific tag, I don't want entirely random posts. I don't.

But I do want some variety beyond just "Most Popular" which might end up being the same five admittedly decent posts for ten fucking years, or "Most Recent" which might be a slew of uninteresting posts for five weeks straight.

Most platforms don't implement "Random" in search options at all, which is a loss, but imagine how good "Random" could be if you knew that the order is totally random across the entire history of the tag, including oldies you might've missed and brand spanking new takes, BUT it's also posts that have gotten a fairly decent number of interactions within the context of that subject's activity rates. 75th and 50th would be great places to poke around. Now, maybe you've run out of 50th percentile posts in your small fandom, or maybe you want to go looking for more undiscovered pearls in a large fandom, but you don't want the absolute bottom-of-the-barrel spam or unrelated tirades. 25th percentile, boom! And hey, maybe you really DO want truly random. That IS a great baseline to offer.

Platforms be implementing "For You" pages with all sorts of algorithms, tracking, AI decisions, and even killing chronological pages to get people to use those unpopular implementations without ever even trying out the more analog option.

Imagine you could not just save your favorite tags to search, but save the SORTING preferences for that tag. Now you throw that together onto a "Your Tags" page. You save your small fandoms at 25%, your big fandoms at 75%, and you save some current events or musicians at "Most Recent" so you don't miss anything that pops up. Maybe the platform also gives you the option to adjust the relative weight of a tag. You want to see MORE of your small fandoms than your large fandoms, if possible? Little slidey scales with locks or a priority drag-and-drop customizer on the sidebar.

Congrats, you've created a "For You" page that actually draws people to use it, customize it, browse it, and hell probably even TALK about it positively. Add the ability to add your top five tags from your top five favorite blogs/creators to show up on that page in chronological order, and people would never feel the need to leave that page because they'd never feel that they're missing out on their real connections to look at things relevant to their interests.

There's still the trouble of seeing posts from people who HATE the thing you're trying to see more of, but boy, you're already eliminating a lot of that trouble by not having an algorithm incorrectly guess which tag was the most relevant one from those other posts you liked when it's trying to find similar ones. Example: You liked twenty #sheith #vld posts, and the "For You" page serves you a bunch of #vld posts that are anti-sheith bc it didn't understand that #sheith was more important to you than #vld. If you're in control and have the ability to track 25th+ percentile #sheith, your likelihood of seeing anti posts on your randomized page drops significantly.

Yes, the platform still gets to prioritize people and posts who are already popular, which is important for user participation, retention, attention, and their whole business model, BUT the whole of the process isn't entirely in the hands of the company now. Users get a say in whether they maybe want to see some low-interaction posts on their frequently-refreshed random page, and if so, on which exact topics.

"For You" pages are random enough to break through the monotony of "Most Recent" and "Most Popular", but they're BAD random. Give users GOOD random as an option and see "For You" usership climb among that holdover demographic of people who still enjoy curating their experience.

Not a bother!

I assume this is a question about building connections with other users of like minds/interests here on tumblr. (Please correct me if I'm wrong!) Here are some of the strategies most long-time users might recommend.

1. Follow people and like/reblog their posts

Seek out other people that make posts or reblog about the stuff you're interested in. That may be specific fandoms, ships, characters, shit posts that appeal to your sense of humor. Be as selective or as nonselective as you're comfortable with. People may or may not follow you back. Try not to take that personally as other people are operating in their own personal comfort scale. Some people will give a follow to everyone that follows them, some will not.

Doing this will give you stuff you like looking at for your dash.

Liking stuff is great! Reblogging stuff is even better! Not only because it's supporting the original poster, but it also puts stuff on your blog! It gives other people a way to gauge if they share interests with you. People are more likely to follow non-empty blogs because tumblr has a long history of problems with bots.

TLDR Don't be afraid to fill your blog with the stuff you like. Make your blog your own. That will help other people find you in return.

2. If you make stuff, tag often and consistently so your posts are discoverable.

Even if you don't make original posts, tagging your reblogs consistently doesn't hurt. It does take time and if it becomes a barrier to you reblogging stuff, forget it and just reblog instead.

But if you make your own stuff, whether drawings or writings or memes, try to tag them with the relevant tags. Doing that will make them appear on the tag page (https://www.tumblr.com/tagged/puppyshipping?sort=recent). People who follow the tag will see the post in their "Your Tags" tab (https://www.tumblr.com/dashboard/hubs). I do it the old-school way where I browse the tag page directly and that's how I find art or other posts I'm interested in without necessarily following everyone.

You do this enough and the people that use those features will start to recognize your screenname too!

3. Advanced direct interactions

You've already done one method by sending this ask! Since tumblr allows individuals to turn off asks on their blogs, it's generally safe to assume that if asks are available, the person welcomes them!

Other ways include leaving comments in the form of tags when you reblog posts, comments in the replies, or reblogged directly as part of the chain. All of these appear as notifications in the person's "Activity" tab, so they might reply when they have a moment.

Similarly, there are direct messages. Similar to asks, users can choose to turn these off.

This is probably the way you'll get to know others better and figure out if you vibe with them. But be as proactive as you're comfortable being!

None of this is likely to happen overnight though. At least not for most people, I've been on tumblr on and off since 2011 and spent most of the early years regularly interacting with maybe a handful of people. I'm not on a lot of other social media but I get the impression that tumblr is slower. It doesn't have a robust algorithm to put you in front of other people with similar tastes or even recommend other blogs for you to follow. It's similar to making friends offline. It'll take time to figure out who you gel with. Good luck finding your community!
