Thinking about how Saint Seiya as a franchise is allowed to grow and expand and introduce a new generation of characters and concepts to keep it fresh to grab in some new fans.

It’s not the first kids action franchise to do this. Yugioh GX and Boruto come to mind.

Could you imagine that kind of expansion given to Sailor Moon? Like a whole generation of Sailor Senshi awakening their powers and fighting bad guys.

While Sailor Moon does have its own timeline that might get a little messy if you’re not careful, there’s still lots of undefined things that could make it work. (Like “oh this is the timeline where chibiusa never awakens as a senshi” or “this is while serenity is asleep” or “this takes place on Earth 2”)

The sound of John Constantine’s incredulous voice entered the meeting room before his body did. “Fight an Infinite Realms ghost? Are you insane?! Do you want to get us killed?”

Zatanna spun and almost snarled at him. “What would you have us do then, Constantine? Maybe you’re okay with sacrificing people sometimes, but we’re the heroes. We can’t just let it keep wreaking havoc. There’s no reported deaths yet, but we don’t know how long that’ll last.”

He leaned against the wall nonchalantly and lit a cigarette. “Well, what’s it yelling about?”

“What?”

He took a long drag before continuing. “Realms ghosts– they’re basically immune to our magic, but they’re easy marks if you know how to deal with ‘em. They all have some sort of Obsession. Just work with that and they’re remarkably simple to manipulate.” His voice turned to a grumble, “Doesn’t mean they can’t be a huge pain in the fucking ass sometimes though.”

Tapping some ash off his cigarette, he looked straight back into the room again. “So… what’re they yelling about?”

Begging swifties to understand that Taylor didn’t write reputation and Lover with the knowledge of how the relationship was going to end and that trying to “excavate” those albums for evidence to prove a specific theory as to why it ended is not how they should be viewed. Taylor wrote those songs feeling a very specific way because that’s what she was experiencing and she is now reflecting on them with hindsight and relates to them differently than when she first created them. These conflicting emotions can exist; how she views it now doesn’t diminish how she felt about it when she first released it.

Lazarus Pits are toxic (read practically acidic) to most realms beings. The keyword being most. There are in fact two beings that are immune. 

The first is those with shadow cores, as their cores are quite literally designed to adapt and mirror the aspects of their surroundings alongside anything that may harm them. And those types of ghosts are already rare, most destabilizing when younger because they think they can adapt to something they can’t handle yet. 

The second thing? Halfas. The Pits heal those close to death but who cling to life, and Halfas? Constantly inbetween life and death, no matter what form they take. So something that would normally burn both the living and dead? Does practically nothing to them. In fact? It heals them. 

So a shadow-cored Halfa searching through the zone for a safe spot for his clone-kids to heal? Well, there’s never been a safer place.

DPXDC Prompt #94

Danny falls through a portal to the DC world from a natural portal that opened up while he was in mid fight with Skulker a fight that began at Vlads where the creep put a collar on Danny that kept him in ghost form, Vlad thought he’d force Danny to reveal his secret to his parents by taking away his human form. Looking around he’s in a dark city with dark smog colored skies. Unfortunately he’s stuck here as the portal closed leaving him trapped. He tried to find help but no one can see him in his ghost form. He starts tailing the vigilantes of this world and eventually follows one onto this space station through this tube (possessing inanimate objects sure comes in handy). He wasn’t expecting for the random British guy in a trench coat to see him.

I literally texted my beloved and posted on tumblr that my interview went well.

Within half an hour I was convinced it has actually gone terribly and also panicking about picking one mattress place over the one I know better and being scared about trying to learn a new system while simultaneously being excited by the idea of having money again and also scared I won’t keep applying for rigging jobs when the industry picks up.

LOL ok au where anakin is turned into a cat but everyone just thinks he’s at Padmé’s for a vacation and doesn’t realize he’s in a predicament….meanwhile obi-wan finds a cat outside his rooms and enters his cat lady era quite cheerfully, he starts absolutely doting on this cat cause it’s nice to take care of something again and this cat is sooooo affectionate

then Ahsoka comes back from a solo mission and she realizes the cat is anakin cause they still have their training bond in place and she’s like master what are you doing we need to figure out how to change you back let’s tell the council

and anakin who is curled up on obi-wan’s lap receiving amazing head scratches and the occasional forehead kissy is like “hmmmm no I’m good”

so ahsokas gotta pretend that she’s texting anakin and she’s like “hey master obi-wan, hypothetically speaking would you give anakin head scratches and forehead kisses if he uhhh came back from Padme’s rn”

and obi-wan is like no of course not

and anakitty is like see! better like this 😌 cat forever 🥰

I think that if you’re going to leave a fic open ended (esp if it’s long) you can mark it complete but it is your civic duty to label it open ended in the tags… or literally anywhere, in the summary, in the notes, idc about spoiling your story this is fanfic spoiling is the name of the game but fr fanfic etiquette dictates you should warn for that
