Okay I haven't read bridgerton or watched it in full but I do know enough (I know what happened in the show and the differences in the books a little bit) but I'm seeing the discourse and read through them.

That's the main things I've seen with the outrage. And I understand the people who are really mad. The difference between Michael's character and Michaela: Fran wanted a child, with Michael aside from loving the guy, she knows she has the chance to conceive they just don't know how hard it will be. With Michaela, Fran still wants a baby obviously, but the struggle would be being with her and having no chance with a baby or be with another person who cna give her that. If she were to chose Michaela, she'd know that she might never have a baby of her own.

There's a difference of knowing you having a chance only to find out you are having a hard time conceiving ( it's more of insecurity and self worth in this infertility issue) while with Michaela she's gonna be happy with her but she wouldn't know if she has fertility issues and might have some regret maybe even resentment because loving her would be rejecting the option of having her own baby especially if she has 100 percent idea that she can conceive just like her siblings.

It might look the same but it won't really have the same spirit unless they're going to make john and fran having a hard time having a baby, then when they had their miracle, she lost john and then the baby, and then maybe it will work.

Then thos who are as excited with Michael being Michaela screams homophobia to those expressing disappointment and outrage despite most of these people wouldn't have mind Benedict being a full out of the closet Bisexual or even Poly and Eloise being a lesbian or bi ( a lot of them even wanted a Cressida x Eloise???) so I don't think it's homophobia fuelling their outrage and disappointment.

I think it's just the same when PJO series casted walker while Walker is perfect a lot of people were expecting a black haired boy with sea green eyes and a blonde gray eyed annabeth—they didn't even care much of race just wanted the hair and eyes because the colors are iconic.

I think people should understand one another more. I do hope there's more happy GL movies drop if u know some. Although I hardly watch movies or series—i love dps vibes like the quotes and shit that's my shit. Anyway bye, don't attack me, let's have a healthy discussion.

They actually make physical media for a much larger percentage of movies than they ever did in the past. Often with a lot more care than any small release was treated in the early dvd days. Its just if you only watch streaming stuff or the big new recent box office hits you won't see that. It is so ridiculously easy to get physical media for movies that even 5 years ago you couldn't even find. Like yes Netflix is a stingy bastard but so many things are available on disc WITH special features than ever before

it is legit bizarre to me how hard video game creators and film directors and showrunners try to pretend that fat people don't exist. can you think of the last time you saw a fat person in a lead role? god forbid a fat woman? i can walk down the street or go into a shop or restaurant and see fat people everywhere but then i switch on the tv and suddenly it's like a glimpse into an alternate universe where no one has a bmi over 24. insidious and weird

I'm jumping off a bridge. Their backstory is so tragic, I can't.

The fact that even Queenie being in the state she was, Kinger still found humanity in her, the fact that he risked his life knowing she could go crazy and attack him just so he could touch her one last time.

And the fact that Queenie allowed him to do it, the fact that she was able to keep control as a abstracted just so she could feel him. Because she loved him and he loved her back and both of them knew her fate, but in that moment, it was just them, their last moment together so both made it work.

This is such a powerful image I want to hug both of them.
