I have my own story to add to this!
So, I am not someone who can just exist in silence and I never have been, but several years ago, in late winter, I was hanging out in my bedroom late at night. It was getting too cold in there, so I had to turn off the fan that I usually use for white noise, and I heard something that i couldn’t quite place. I sat really still and listened for a while. I heard a scrabbling sort of sound coming from the upper part of one of my bedroom walls. This has freaked me out terribly, bc I have a severe phobia of mice, rats, bats, and all related animals that may take refuge in a wall. So I am freaking out and sobbing and I go to get my dad to have him listen and he looks at me like I am insane saying he doesn’t hear anything. Bc of this, I am unable to sleep for literal days. Eventually, I am able to sleep, but only during the day. This is bc I know that most of the creepy animals that could potentially be in my walls are only active at night, therefore the safest time for me to sleep is during the day when they would also be asleep.
Then one day in the midst of all of this after like a week of not sleeping, my doorbell goes off. I check and no one is outside that I can see, so in my sleep deprived mind this can only be the result of whatever is living in my walls. This causes me to break down in absolute hysterics bc I am sleep deprived and terrified and am very loudly sobbing. In retrospect, this was very clearly kids playing a prank and they for sure heard my breakdown and thought it was hilarious bc they did it again a short while later (causing even more hysterical crying on my part). Either way, after I had calmed down from the mental breakdown, I have decided enough is enough. I am not going to be terrorized in my own home. I am going to call a pest control company to figure out what this is and get it taken care of whether my parents believed me or not.
When someone finally came over another week later, they had to go up into the attic which was accessed from my bedroom closet and they inspect everything. Once they come back down they tell me that we have 3 (😟) bats in the attic, showed me a picture of them sleeping in the rafters, and say that they are surprised it’s only 3 saying most people don’t notice until they have a whole colony of bats. We were able to get rid of them fairly easily and with no harm to the bats (bc even though I am terrified of them I know they are an important part of the ecosystem and I would feel bad if they got hurt). I felt so vindicated after though that I wasn’t crazy and there really was something in the walls and my parents had shit hearing.
Moral of the story is listen to your kids.

Boys
dad!Oscar x mom!reader
Sum: Oscar's not a fan of his daughter going on a date.
WC: 928
Warnings: old draft not proofread.
this was not what I originally wanted to post but this was in my drafts so I'm letting it go out into the Tumblr world.
Tumblr media
"Ay! Papaaa! It's not a big deal!"  The teenage girl dramatically raised her voice throwing an outfit on her bed, she suddenly hated her closet. Her father's arms crossed over his chest, an unhappy look on his face as he stood in the door frame. "Who is this guy? Why have you never told me about him? Where is he taking you?"
You chuckled rolling your eyes at the small argument as you stirred your pot of food, your youngest sat in her high chair giggling her head off. "You're laughing? Girl you are next." You joked pointing at her which only made the twelve-month-old laugh even more. A bedroom door slammed and your sixteen-year-old appeared. "Ugh!! What is wrong with your husband!?"
He was dad when everything went her way but was quickly your husband once when things go awry.
You shrugged. "You know how he is, girl, but I mean you could have said something to him."
She let out an exaggerated sigh and plopped herself down around the kitchen table. Your daughter had let it be known to you and you only that she had a crush on a boy named Nico at school, you'd known of  Nico, met him a few times and seemed nice. Then one day your girl comes home squealing with joy about how the young man liked her back and asked her out on a date. You were happy for her and found it a bit cute that she'd reached this stage in life, a bit cautious of what was to come if the unspeakable happened.
Young heartbreak was a bitch.
Oscar on the other hand was not too fond of the thought of his daughter, his precious angel, going on a date with a boy he's never heard about. The doorbell rang causing your child to jump up, her hands ironing out her light blue dress from any creases, even though there were none. Your brooding husband came sliding down the hall on his way to open the door. You had asked her to turn down the stove so that you could beat him to the door so he wouldn't terrify the young boy.
He caught wind of what you were doing at picked up his pace, you attempted to match him and almost met up with him until he shoved you out of the way, not so hard that you would plummet onto the floor but enough to knock you off balance.
Oscar had made it to the entrance his iconic scowl returning to his face as he answered the door. The young man swallowed, fear visibly creeping in when he was met with a more well-toned, and well-tatted man who looked like he was ready to put his foot where the sun doesn't shine. "Who are you?" He nodded.
"I'm uh, I'm Nico. I'm... I'm here to pick up Nia... if that's okay." He stammered.
"Well, it's no-"
"Nico, hi sweetie how are you?" You chimed in pulling on Oscar's arm, your nails digging into his skin causing him to hiss and cuss under his breath. "I'm good Mrs. Diaz. How about yourself?"
"I'm great. I think Nia should be here any second she's just grabbing her jacket."
"Where you guys going?" Oscar asked arching his brow. Nico played with the bottom of his black shirt, the poor kid was sweating. "Just the movies, McDonald's or something after."
You smiled. "That's nice."
Nia cleared her throat as she appeared from behind her mother. "Hi, Nico." She blushed. His smile was all of a sudden brighter. "Hi Nia, you look pretty."
"Thank you. You look pretty too." You softly smiled as you watched Nia's face fall, probably thinking what she said was stupid.
"Thanks."
The young girl said goodbye to her parents and they watched her get into the passenger seat of his car and drive off. You closed the door turning to Oscar who still had a frown on his face. "You are a piece of work Spooky."
He kissed his teeth, you never called him that unless you were upset. Now, technically, you weren't mad at him you just wanted to sting him a little for almost ruining your daughter's nice evening. "She couldn't wait until she was at least twenty-five to start dating." He groaned.
You raised your eyebrows in amusement. "You didn't wait. I didn't wait. We were their age once Papi. Es la vida. Let her grow."
He pouted, that was his firstborn, the first to have him completely wrapped around her finger, poor Oscar was at her beck and call no matter what. So, as much as he hated to say it out loud, he was sad that his little girl was growing up right before his eyes. Your husband followed you back into the kitchen, slithering his hands around your waist, holding you close. He hummed at the smell of your hair pressing a kiss on the top of your head.
"If, and I mean if, he breaks her heart. I'll come with you to beat him up." The two of you laughed. "Deal."
Oscar turned his attention over to your youngest who was stuffing her face with a small store-bought cupcake. He smiled at the icing covering half her face, he grabbed a paper towel and wet it before wiping off her face. Her little hands reached for his face and he leaned into her tiny palms, kissing all over her face causing her to explode into a fit of laughs. He took her out of her high chair lifting her in the air. "You gotta wait a little longer than sixteen to date okay mi amor."
You kissed your teeth and threw a kitchen towel at him. "Estúpido."
More Papa Spooky otw bcus i have a problem

The Boy | Jungkook ff
Tumblr media
Pairing: Bhrams Yandere Jungkook x babysitter Y/n
Summary: they paid you a huge amount of money just to babysit their son who turned out to be a doll named kookie not knowing the real kookie is actually all grown up and living behind the walls where he always watches you.
You're the new babysitter and a caretaker of the house of Jeon. You though it's just a normal thing but when you got to know who you're supposed to babysit. You're shivering in fear.
You saw a doll sitting on the chair. Height as a five years old kid and to your surprise the doll is the one that you will babysit. Feed him, bath him, get him to sleep but could a doll even do that?.
Well you couldn't complain more. The money offer is huge and you couldn't afford to be payed that much even if you will have 5 part time job.
It's been a month since you're staying here. You can say it's creepy. The whole vibes is little got you shivering in fear. The noises from the walls. The way the doll is changing position and sit on other places as if it can walk on its own and your clothes that always went missing. It's crazy. You wanted to leave but their is something that always stops you.
You came back to the kitchen after collecting the groceries that Malcon dropped and as always. You found the place empty when you're pretty sure you filled it with a lot of foods.
Walking to the doll and stare at it. Sighing before you grabbed the table napkin from his lap and wipe his mouth on it. You turn around and unpack the groceries when you suddenly felt a present of a person standing behind you.
Hesitantly, you turn around and found no one. No one even the doll. It always happen but yet it's still terrifying. You wanted to cry and leave but you just can't. Your feet seems like stuck in this house.
You slowly made your way to the living room and saw the doll sitting on the piano chair. Looking at the clock you find out that it's time for you to play piano for him. Slowly making your way next to him and sat.
You hummed while playing piano. Closing your eyes and started feeling the remedy, it's making your brain relax for a bit. Just then the wall made a huge noise as if someone just bang behind it.
You quickly get up and grabbed the doll along with you. Your breath started hitching, your heart is beating too fast. You heard foot steps, each and every step is making a huge bang. You can say it's like a huge person is running behind the empty walls.
The running foot steps fades away. Walking upstairs and went inside your room while holding the doll in your hand. Putting him down on the chair behind closing your eyes in frustration. You're so scared.
Soon you open your eyes and found the doll staring at you. Slowly walking towards it and grab him, putting him up high before asking. "What the fck are you tryin do huh? Are you doing this could you wanted me to leave? Fine!! It's that's what you want then I'm leaving!!. I'm done!!."
You throw the doll away as you grab your luggage Under your bed. You place it in your bed and walk towards the closet. Before you could even pick up you clothes. The room of your bedroom shut making you startled.
Staring in horror you found the doll already missing from your sigh then the banging on the walls started. Your eyes is filled with tears. You sat on the corner of the room crying, hugging yourself while covering your ears.
"S-stop. Stop!! I said stop I'll stay!! Please, I won't go anywhere just please stop!! I'll stay!!" As soon as you said you will stay the banging sound stop.
You cried silently. The door of your bedroom slowly open and saw him sitting Infront of your room. You wipe your tears away and walk towards him. Picking him up behind going to his bedroom and put him to sleep.
Closing the book after finishing his bedtime stories. You pick up the blanket and cover the boy doll with it before placing a kiss on his forehead.
You look at him for the last time. Wondering if it's posses or what but you knew there is something about this doll that keeps on getting in your nerves.
"Good night kookie" you sigh and get up from the bed. You look at him for the last before closing the door behind you.
As soon as you entered your room you saw the bathroom light is on so you walk towards it and attempt to switch it off but before you could even do it. You found your used clothes again missing not only your clothes but also your undergarments.
You search everywhere but there's nothing. You found nothing.
Meanwhile. A man with a mask is laying on his dirty bed next to the pillow that is dressed up with your favorite red dress that he stoled.
He's been living behind the walls for years since he's only five years old till now that he's grown man. The incident really changed his life. He accidentally k'lled his childhood friend and burn down their house that made everyone thought he's already gone but he isn't. He's fully alive and now a grown man but his existence is hidden that his parents made a doll that looks like him and eventually treated it like their own child while the real kookie is living behind the walls
He's breathing heavily face is covered with sweat under his mask. Trying so hard to not make any loud noise nor m'an out while his huge veiny hand wrapped around his l'ngth. It also added pleasure as your freshly used undergarment is Under his nose smelling it while pumping himself upwards and down.
"U-ughhh Y-yn more" he keep on m'aning while tightening his grip on his c'ck as he continuesly moving his fist up sidd down.
His groan gets louder after feeling himself c'mming. Soon a white liquor squish out of his m'mber making his breath heavenly. A soft chuckles came out of his mouth after making himself reach his high.
He sniff your undergarments and smiled. He turn around and kiss the pillow that he dress up like you while imagining it is you. H get up and made his way to your room inside the wall and peek through the small hole where he watches you sleeping.
To be continue
[Yes this is my version of the "the boy" movie. I just really really love the yandere idea of that movie and I'm literally obsessed with it!!]

Halloween
warnings: oral (f), fingering, sir like once, dirty talk, cuddling before and after
a/n: this is old </3
Tumblr media
masterlist
It was getting late. You had decided to go to a party closer an opposite side of the city with your friends—who were best friends with a group of boys.
It was a Halloween party, you had just dressed up as a simple angel. You had nothing in your closet as it was a last minute decision to go, and that was the only thing you could put together from previous years.
It was your third year of college, and you weren’t one to turn down a party. Even though you were upset at your friends for feeling the need to attend an hour before it begun, you still went. It was Halloween! You wanted to have fun.
So, you put on your white eyeliner and cute outfit and decided to go have a ball. You might have looked a little childish since your friends dressed, well, to be undressed, but, you hoped they could get some and have an eventful night. You weren’t looking for anything other than a good time.
As to the particular boys who were hosting this party, they were all nice. Calum was the closest to you guys, always checking up in the group chats and reaching out to invite you to these type of things.
None of the boys were dressed up, each in comfortable house attire. You thought it was very lame, not the type of energy a Halloween party should have.
Sometimes you felt forgotten, but it wasn’t anything towards your friends. You just weren’t as close to all the people they were. You got along with them well, Ashton, Michael, Calum, and Luke. You had spoken to Luke less than the others, as he was a little shy, but you knew he was a good guy.
As it was getting late, an incredibly heavy thunderstorm had begun. The people in the room lessened as bodies were leaving and you and your friends helped clean up. Nobody ever bothered to stick around for that part.
“Wow, it’s incredible outside,” Michael said as he walked to throw out some garbage he picked up.
“Oh shit! What are we going to do? We can’t drive home in this. The one time we all stayed sober, too,” Your friend let out a chuckle.
As all they all talked amongst themselves they decided it was the best to spend the night. Heat rose to your cheeks. Where were you going to sleep? You didn’t like sharing rooms or spending the night anywhere other than your bed. Thunderstorms terrified you already.
You sighed to yourself and sat down on the sofa as you finished your last spot of cleaning.
“There’s a spare bedroom upstairs. It’s a queen sized bed. There are four of you though, anyone can take the floor or we can pull out some cushions from this couch,” Ashton shrugged.
You spoke up before anyone else took the offer, “If you guys are all cool with sharing a bed I’ll just take the couch down here,”
“Are you sure? There can be enough space if anyone wants to stay in our rooms too,” Calum said.
Luke was looking at his feet. He ruffled a hand through his hair and then pulled out his phone, sitting down across from you.
“Nah, thank you, but it’s fine. I honestly prefer it,” You sent him a shy smile, to which he mirrored back.
Your eyes landed on your friends, who were each sending you apologetic looks from across the room. You also smiled their way, waving your hand, telling them not to worry about it.
Ashton sighed, “Well, it’s been a long day guys, so I’m heading up. Thank you all for coming, we’ll see you in the morning.”
Everyone agreed and said goodnight, piling up the stairs one after another, except Luke, who wandered a few steps away into his room and shut the door.
It actually felt nice, the air conditioner kept the room cool and a comforting silence.
The only thing that sucked was the clothes you had on. You were waiting for someone to offer, but you’re sure it just slipped their minds. You were wondering if you could pull off just sleeping in your costume, but the thought of your skirt riding up and one of the guys finding you on the couch exposed made you nervous. You wandered over to Luke’s room since he was the closest and knocked on his door.
It took him a minute before he opened the door, his hair matted against his forehead and his face a little red, breathing heavy which was concerning. You decided not to dwell on it and just ask before he fell asleep. It had been a solid fifteen minutes after everyone said goodnight.
“I’m so sorry, but I can’t sleep in these clothes. Do you mind if I borrow some? I swear I’ll have them back in the morning.” You rambled, biting the inside of your cheek out of nervousness. You wouldn’t feel this bad if you had talked to him on the regular, but you didn’t.
It took him a little while before he actually responded, just staring at you, “Yeah, yeah of course.”
Luke opened the door wider so you could walk in. You took the time to admire the small, but comfortable room he had as you waited for some clothes. A tiny sofa chair, guitars, and posters aligned in a corner along with other items that resembled his character.
You felt a tap on your shoulder and turned around to see Luke, holding folded items as he extended them out to you.
“Thank you so much,” You said as you showed a small smile, “Like I said I’ll have these back tomorrow.”
He waved, “Stop, I don’t care about that. Get some sleep. There’s a bathroom along the other side of this wall for you to change.”
You glanced out the door to where he pointed and started walking towards it.
“Goodnight, I’ll see you in the morning,” You said to the blonde boy, making your way into the bathroom.
You set the clothes on top of the sink and started undressing. He had given you four items. A pair of boxers, a t-shirt, crewneck, and sweatpants. You put on the boxers and t-shirt and left the others on the sink folded next to your costume.
The thought of wearing another boy’s clothing made you blush, but you pushed the thought away just as fast as it entered your mind.
It was no doubt Luke was a very attractive man. You end up feeling upset sometimes that you’re not close with him because you want to spend more time with him. He’s also part of the reason you came to this party.
Flicking off the lights, you shut the door and made yourself comfortable on the couch. Ashton had brought you down pillows and covers as well.
You spent the next ten minutes scrolling on your phone before attempting to go to sleep.
———————————————————————————
Flashes of white keep you unsteady for the next half hour.
The uncomfortable couch didn’t help, the whole situation made you break out in sweats. Readjusting your position for what felt like the hundredth time that night, you ended up on your back.
Thunder roared as you jolted. You sat up, you were never going to fall asleep.
Before you could shut your eyes in effort to ease your restlessness, a door squeaked open and light dimly lit the room. Your head turned, noticing Luke standing in the doorway.
“Are you ever going to fall asleep?” He asked, tone nothing but serious.
You felt so embarrassed. You figured it wouldn’t be that obvious you were tossing and turning, but the noises of the couch creaking every time you turned didn’t help, “I’m so sorry. Did I wake you?”
He rubbed his tired eyes, “What’s keeping you awake?”
“The storm, and I can’t seem to get comfortable.”
He walked towards you and reached to collect your pillows and sheets, “Come sleep in my room. There’s only one window and I have thick curtains.”
“No, no, I promise you it’s fine.”
“You’re not going to fall asleep out here. C’mon.”
You sighed, “Thank you.”
He smiled, “Don’t mention it.”
You walked into his room and he put your pillows and sheets on the recliner. Walking towards it, Luke’s eyebrows furrowed. “What are you doing?”
“Um, getting ready to sleep.”
“You’re taking the bed, don’t even think about arguing it’s too late for that.”
You shook your head. “Luke I already feel guilty about waking you up. Please let me take the chair.”
You heard fake snores. Wow, okay.
You chucked to yourself. “Thank you.” Getting into his unmade bed, you flicked off the lamp on the nightstand as you both said goodnight.
Yet the thunderstorm was only getting worse. You spent the next five minutes embracing the cold sheets before realizing you were too scared to sleep alone.
You felt so embarrassed. Back home, you were able to tell one of your girlfriends to sleep in the same bed- yet share a respectable distance.
Shivers went down your spine. You had to suck it up, just for one night.
Before you could let your thoughts wander any deeper, you felt the bed dip and a faint smell of cologne. “I can see you shiver every time there’s movement outside. Is this okay? Are you uncomfortable?” Luke was spooning you— he draped his hand over your waist, pulling you closer to him.
You could cry, really, and the last few hours emphasized feelings for this boy that you didn’t know were already there. You felt your entire body get hot, yet all tension left it at the same time. You eased into his touch, pushing your head further into the pillows which resulted to his in your neck. You swore there were tears welling in your eyes.
“Yeah, very comfortable. Thanks.” you let out a breath you didn’t know you were holding.
He didn’t break his position. “We’re in a really intimate position right now, so I feel like there’s no other time to bring this up, but, I really want to get to know you better. I really like you,” the blonde chuckled.
“I do too, Luke. I would love to spend more time with you.”
You swore you were dreaming. You were all alone a few minutes ago, and now you’re sleeping in Luke’s bed— with him.
You felt his fingers move to your side, the digits playing and fidgeting with your exposed skin. He untucked his head from your neck, instead moving your hair over your shoulder and kissing along the space he created.
Heat immediately erupted all over your body. God, it’s been so long— too long— since you’ve been touched.
You melt into him, arching and breathing heavy. He sits up, leaving you both on your side, but to get easier access to your body.
Luke continues suckling on your neck, making noticeable marks no doubt. He nips at your ear, creating marks down your jaw. The blonde continues his suckling for a while, going back and licking at each of the marks before flipping you on your back.
You both can barely see each other, Luke flicks on the lamp next to his bed yet it’s still so dark you can only see his prominent features.
His face is flushed, lips parted and puffed, hair disheveled. So much like when you opened the door to ask for clothes an hour or two ago.
You’re sure you look similar— you feel heat course throughout your body and you’re incredibly needy for him and his touch.
He reaches forward after admiring you for a good while. “Can I take this off?” Tugging at your shirt.
“Yes.”
You practically cry out, you didn’t want to seem too touch deprived— but damn was this getting you.
He pulls up your shirt and admires your beauty. He looks like he’s starving and you’re the only meal in the room. “God help me,” he mumbles.
You chuckle, but it’s cut off quickly as he reaches down to start toying with your breasts. “Mm, such pretty tits all for me. Right? Just f’me?” You gasped, you weren’t expecting dirty talk this soon, but it was working. You were soaking your panties, you’re so sure the patch can be seen through his boxers.
“Mm, yes baby,” you moan. You were always loud in bed with each experience you’ve had. Most of the guys didn’t like it, so you tried to keep quiet this time.
Luke did the unexpected, bringing his mouth down to suck along your breast, keeping attention on the other as well. You closed your eyes, lost in bliss as he slightly nibbled your nipple. You cried out, glaring down at him just to see him already glaring up at you.
He switched, doing the same exact thing to the opposite breasts. It was going to be a long night and you’d be lying if you said you weren’t looking forward to it.
“How wet are you?” He murmurs as he glides down your body, peppering kisses until he meets the waistband of your—his—boxers.
You’re taken aback by the question, “what?”
“How wet did you get for me?” He repeated.
“Um, I want you,” you blushed.
He chuckled, “I know you do baby, but that wasn’t my question. I want you to tell me how wet you are. Can you feel it?”
“Yes, I can feel it Luke.” You want to break eye contact, but it feels impossible, the way he’s looking at you is addicting.
“Describe it to me. How does it feel?” He continues.
You moan, “I can feel it soaking my panties, Luke. It’s gushing out of me and I’m sure you’ll be able to see it through your boxers. I need it, please, I need you so bad.”
His lips part a good amount. He looks even hungrier than before, and you can tell your words tested him. The blonde wasn’t expecting you to be so— descriptive.
“Fucking christ, well let’s see then?” He sits back on his knees as you arch up for him, wanting him to see that you want him to see.
You were right, you’re absolutely soaked through and the wet patch is even bigger than you both expected. Luke sighed heavily.
“Looks like you’re right peach. Fucking drenched. You’re incredible.” You gave him innocent eyes when you looked up at him.
Boldness hit you. You wanted to say something, but debated saying it because you didn’t know if he would be into it or not. Taking a chance, you reply,
“Are you going to clean up my mess, sir?”
What were once oceanic blue orbs turned to navy, all you could sense was lust. Luke wasted no time. Ripping off his boxers and your panties in one go.
He lay flat on his stomach before diving right into your core. You slammed the palm of your hand onto your mouth, moaning right into it.
Right away, he rips your hand off your mouth and puts it into his hair. You tug at his locks. The strokes if his tongue were going back and forth between your entrance and clit. You glanced down at him and it was the biggest mistake, his glare towards you was enough to make your head fall right back to where it was on the pillow as your eyes rolled back.
He sucks your sensitive nub into his mouth, and it’s impossible to not hear the slurping. You’ve never felt pleasure like this before, in fact, you think this is the first time someones ever gone down on you. You bite your lip to surprise your moans, but it barely works.
Luke switches up, his mouth going down to push into and lap up at your core, cleaning up all the arousal that’s pooling out of you. He brings his fingers into the mix, thumbing at your clit and rubbing circles so roughly.
He continues his assault on your pussy in the most euphoric way. He sits up, his fingers still pumping inside of you.
“Baby, thinking about all the things Im going to do to you when you’re mine.. G’nna fuck this tight little pussy so good, so hard..”
You groan, “Please baby. Tell me how, tell me.”
“Mmm. Fuck you messy n’ tired. Take you from behind, slowly, and feel you up, kissin down your back. Or I’ll have you so good that you cum so much it hurts, but you still ask for more.”
He puts his mouth back on you and you cum right then and there. It’s such bliss you don’t understand how someone could ever make you feel like this. Flashes of white flash behind your eyes and you can’t tell if it’s lightning filling the room or just your aftershocks of the orgasm.
Luke is still going, lapping up your cum that leaks out of you. You’re hand that’s raked in his hair starts tugging, telling him to stop. He pulls back, coming up immediately to kiss you.
“That was incredible, thank you. I’ve never felt that before,” you compliment. He gives you a lazy smile.
You notice his erection against your leg as you sit up. “Let me take care of you?”
“Mmm, we both need sleep love. In the morning? Wake me up with it.” He smirks. Your face heats up again.
The boy pulls his shirt back over you, turning off the lamp and tucks you both into your covers.
Before you fall into a deep and comfortable sleep as Luke is rubbing your back, you think of what has just happened and smile to yourself. This event will play back in your head forever, and you can’t help but hope everything that’s happened with Luke will continue to evolve.
You hear and feel his quiet breathes, and you realize you’re not sure if you can ever sleep without him during thunderstorms again.

The Evermoor
Tumblr media
Request: Sinister love for Maedhros, especially if it's after his fiery death ~how very SPOOKY~ he'd be scary enough as a ghost, but more terrifying would be if he survived or was resurrected, with his burns.Gosh I love Halloween
Pairing: Maedhros x Reader/ Reader x OC
Genre: Horror
Summary: He was better than ever—but not the same. It was as though the fever had washed away more than just his illness. The man you loved had been replaced by someone—or something—else.
AN: Your prompt is so awesome 😩 I loved writing it too much. Got carried away so now there's another part. I'm sorry if this does not exactly follow your prompt but this was awesome.
Chapter 1| Chapter 2
Next up- Sinister love with Maedhros chapter dos 🤭
Tumblr media
You cower, eyes squeezed shut, muscles tense as if trying to melt into the mattress. The darkness feels oppressive, alive, crawling across the room toward you, its presence tangible in the suffocating silence.
Buried under your quilt, your mind drifts toward the closet opposite the bed. Its door, barely cracked open, looms in your vision. A door you distinctly remember forcing shut before slipping beneath the covers. A door that seems to have a will of its own, refusing to remain closed.
The house whispers around you—the creak of brittle wood rising from the old floorboards as if the very bones of the mansion are shifting in the night.
The Evermoor, ancient and untouched, resists the modern makeover your fiancé envisions, its colonial elegance holding tight against time’s slow decay.
For now, the Evermoor stands as it always has—unmoved, unchanged, steeped in shadow.
Most days, Evermoor feels like a distant memory, as if it exists in a realm between the living and the forgotten. Its old stone walls, hidden by evergreens and draped in mist, seem to breathe with the weight of centuries. It sleeps peacefully, exhausted by the passage of its long history.
That was how you first saw it—the slumbering, serene majesty of the Evermoor, drawing both you and Zaid into its mysterious hold. Your fiancé.
Tumblr media
The decision to leave Prague had been wild, impulsive, even. Trading the city’s buzzing streets for the quiet of Viscri, nestled in a valley so still it felt like stepping back in time.
Zaid had been enchanted by the sprawling backyard, imagining your two dogs bounding across it, while you found comfort in the damp, earthy scent of the village—like fresh rain mingling with ancient stone.
This was how life unfolded for most people: years spent amid the crowded anonymity of cities, until you find the one person who makes the world slow down. Love follows, fierce and fragile, weathering the storms, if you’re lucky. Then comes the dream of escape, leaving the fast lane for something slower, more peaceful.
Work promotions had helped make that dream possible. The suburban fantasy, a far-off dream for many, had crept into reality with the right person by your side.
Zaid was that person—the flirtatious frat boy you never imagined sticking around. But beneath his charm lay a deep kindness, and that kindness made it impossible not to love him.
Loving Zaid was effortless. He made it so. Flowers left in unexpected places, candlelit dinners, soft words, and grand gestures that melted your heart. He cradled your love with a care that drew you in, little by little, until you couldn’t imagine life without him.
The once-ridiculous international student who convinced you to leave everything behind now sat beside you in Evermoor, slurping ramen as you both debated which floorboards would suit the study best.
A glittering diamond caught the light on your finger. He had proposed three months ago, under the soft light of candlelit shadows. Did you see it coming? Yes. But did you put on an elaborate act of surprise? Absolutely.
Zaid was predictable, but in ways that made you feel safe. He was a man of habit, of routines you had come to cherish. You hadn’t meant to stumble upon the hidden ring. Its hiding place in the unused suitcase had been clever—until one of your friends asked to borrow it.
The ring was magnificent, the kind that sparkled so brightly it drew gasps, making people look twice to make sure it was real.
Had you known what was to come, you would’ve never accepted it. You would’ve sent that suitcase—along with the cursed ring—to the farthest corner of the world.
The ring that stole Zaid away from you. Or was it the Evermoor?
The early days in the mansion had been enchanting. Bright, warm spring afternoons spent poring over floor plans, your future laid out before you. The wedding was to take place at Evermoor, the perfect venue. The house itself felt magical, like it had been waiting for you and Zaid to bring it back to life.
The mansion was a spell you couldn’t resist. It drew you into its labyrinthine halls, its ancient bones whispering secrets as you wandered through its forgotten rooms.
Your freelance work went on hold, and soon you found yourself documenting your journey on YouTube—a simple series on renovating your dream house. While your editing left much to be desired, the vlogs gathered a modest following of 56 subscribers, five of which were Zaid’s accounts.
You couldn’t have imagined then that those mindless videos would become relics, haunting the internet for years to come. Fame would find you, but not in the way you expected.
It all began with a cold. Zaid wasn’t unfamiliar with seasonal colds, and at first, you didn’t think much of it. You joked about him being a "frail Victorian child" wasting away in the manor’s drafty halls.
You expected it to pass, like it always did, with a steady diet of soups, tea, and Vicks humidifiers. Even your doctor friends laughed it off, teasing Zaid as they handed him a lolly for his melodramatic whining.
But as the days dragged on, your laughter grew strained. The cold didn’t break. Zaid grew weaker by the hour, his skin losing color, his energy fading. Nights were filled with his fevered ramblings, his body slick with sweat, twisting beneath the covers.
You stopped the renovations, packed your bags, ready to drag him to the hospital. But Zaid refused. His grip on the Evermoor tightened, as if the house held him captive. His sunken eyes stared at you, forbidding the thought of leaving.
You stayed by his side, your hands clasped in his, pleading with him, crying through sleepless nights as his fever raged on. His brothers flew in from the States, ready to move him to the infirmary. Your aunt stepped in to oversee the Evermoor while you prepared to leave.
And then, overnight, Zaid recovered. His pallid face transformed, flushed with sudden vitality. Every plan to leave vanished in an instant.
He was better than ever—but not the same. It was as though the fever had washed away more than just his illness. The man you loved had been replaced by someone—or something—else.
Zaid’s obsession with restoring Evermoor to its former glory took precedence over everything. The modern renovations you had so carefully planned were tossed aside, replaced by an eerie fixation on the mansion’s past.
His eyes gleamed with an intensity that unsettled you—a brightness that seemed to glow, unnatural, when he caught you staring.
And it wasn’t just you. Hermes and Zeus, once Zaid’s loyal companions, now cowered in his presence. The dogs, who once leapt into his arms, growled or fled when he entered the room. But Zaid remained indifferent, unbothered by their fear.
What disturbed you most was his fixation on the ring. His eyes followed your hand, tracking the diamond wherever it went, but he rarely touched you like he once had. When he did, he avoided the ring, as though afraid of it.
He was like Tantalus—forever reaching for something just out of his grasp.
It was during a quiet afternoon, while absentmindedly scrolling through comments on your YouTube channel, that you stumbled upon it.
A simple comment that stopped you cold.
Tevildoisapookie 5:08 Did anyone notice the elven script on that newspaper? Didn’t expect a Silmarillion crossover with cottagecore, lol.
Confused, you paused the video, your brows knitting together. The paper you had used to cover the windows during the painting of the guest bedroom doors was visible in the frame, covered in scrawled text.
Your fingers hovered over the reply button, hesitation filling you.
LadyofEvermore Can you read what it says?
Chuckling nervously at your own paranoia, you tossed your phone aside and resumed petting Hermes. The dog gave you an annoyed glance, irritated at being woken from his nap.
“I’m sorry, old man,” you muttered, running your fingers through his fur. Slowly, you drifted off, the warm sun lulling you into a shallow sleep.
You woke to the low growls of your dogs. Blinking groggily, you found Hermes and Zeus standing over you, tense and alert, their eyes locked on something across the room.
Your gaze followed theirs and froze. Zaid stood in the doorway, unnervingly still, his eyes gleaming with that strange, unsettling light as he stared back at the dogs.
You quickly gathered the dogs, leading them outside where their tension evaporated as they chased fireflies into the dusk. But as you turned to head back inside, you felt two arms wrap around your waist.
Zaid.
You forced yourself to relax, leaning back into him.
“Pizza okay with you?” you asked, your voice wavering slightly. Zaid nodded, but his eyes remained fixed on your hand, on the ring that sparkled in the fading light.
Later, when you took out your phone to order the pizza, a notification awaited you.

A Reddit user had commented, translating the strange symbols from your video-
SobbingMaia It seems to be a Quenya reiteration of the Oath of Fëanor(a pretty good one) :
Death we will deal him ere Day’s ending, Woe unto world’s end! Our word hear thou, Eru Allfather! To the everlasting Darkness doom us if our deed faileth. On the holy mountain hear in witness and our vow remember, Manwë and Varda!

Yandere!Nagito x ftm!reader
Content: closeted reader (only Nagito knows), brief mentions of dysphoria, and also really self-indulgent
1.2k words
You had come to a realization about your gender a few years ago, but you kept it hidden from everyone around you. It's not that you thought they wouldn't be supportive. Some of your friends were trans too, but you just didn't know how to come out yet. As far as you knew, no one knew you were a man, so it was surprising when you started getting love notes that referred to you as things like “handsome” or “pretty boy.” You didn't mind, of course, far from it, but they couldn't have been meant for you… could they? How would anyone know to call you those things? You couldn't help but stress about it. Maybe you'd accidentally outed yourself, or someone was making fun of you.
You started out ignoring it, but the love letters got more frequent and more concerning. What started out as some nice compliments and a bit of gay desperation had turned into the mystery author degrading himself and obsessing over you. You started getting gifts too, your favorite flowers or items you'd been eying. The situation had reached a point where you had to do something, so you wrote a note back.
Since you had no idea who this man was or how to reach him, you decided to just leave the letter in your house, since he was probably breaking in anyway. The sealed letter to your maybe stalker sat on your dresser for just long enough to make you question all your decisions. You were probably just being paranoid. No one would ever break in to take a letter. Sometimes paranoia pays off, though, because the next time you checked, the letter was gone and replaced with a return letter from your stalker.
You were understandably terrified to read this new letter. Not only were the “normal” love letters concerning enough, but you'd actually confronted this guy about his actions and practically demanded to know who he was and why he knew you were trans. Despite your fear, you opened the letter and began to read.
“My dear (preferred name),
I'm unbelievably flattered to receive your attention. All of my love for you was given without the expectation of reciprocation, but now that I know you feel the same, I'm happier than I could ever imagine. Trash like me may not deserve your shining hope, but I can't stop myself from being selfish and choosing you regardless. As for who I am, I am Nagito Komaeda, the ultimate lucky student. Although my talent and general existence are both completely worthless, I do have one skill, which is observing you. You call me your “stalker,” which I can't deny. You're the perfect man, a beacon of hope for all of us peasants. I can't help but be attracted to everything you do. I adore every part of you. I doubt you are surprised that I learned such details about you, like your gender, from my observations. Fear not, darling. I accept you no matter what and you have always been a man in my eyes, even if that is not what you see in the mirror or if your negative thoughts tell you otherwise.
I understand that this situation may be overwhelming and that I have no right to ask anything of you. I am selfish. I can't keep away from you. I need to have you. I want you to be my boyfriend and to love me just as deeply as I love you. I know someone like me doesn't deserve your love or your kindness, but I need you. I need you so badly. I need your everything. If you even consider a relationship at all, please let me know. I would do anything for you, my beloved.
With love,
Nagito”
How were you supposed to feel about any of this? This man had stalked you and any positive feelings you had for him were probably just because he was the only one in your life who saw you as a man. Despite that, the idea of someone wanting you so much was enticing. He probably had some issues, but… you could totally fix him. Or not. Maybe not fixing him would be better anyway. You'd never had a boyfriend who truly saw you for who you were before, so why not give this a shot? You pushed aside all the red flags and started to draft a return letter.
A week and two letters later, you finally get the chance to meet your new boyfriend, Nagito Komaeda. You decided to meet in a public setting. It felt too weird for your first date to just be in your house. Dwelling on the whole stalking and breaking in thing wasn't very pleasant. You weren't sure what to look for. You'd never seen this man before in your life. You desperately hoped he wasn't a creepy old man or extremely hideous. Were those shallow things to be thinking of while meeting your new stalker boyfriend for the first time? Maybe. The next moment you look up, hoping to find a distraction, you see a man standing disturbingly close to you. He hadn't said anything, but he was definitely staring.
“You're quite close,” You whisper under your breath, almost hoping he won't hear.
“I'm so sorry, darling. I didn't mean to startle you. I'm just too used to avoiding your attention. Sorry. Trash like me shouldn't be—” You cut him off.
“It's fine, don't worry about it. So… I'm guessing you're Nagito.” You don't have much to talk about with him. He spends most of the rest of your date rambling about how perfect you are or how awful he is. He is pretty nice, at least. His white hair and sickly pale skin make him sort of attractive in a pathetic wet cat way as well. He's almost your type. There's a natural lull in your conversation. Nagito hesitates for a moment.
“(Preferred name)... are you uncomfortable?” He asks softly.
“No, not really. It's just new to me to be with a man as a man, I guess among… other things about our relationship.”
“But, you are interested in men, aren't you?” You shift a bit in your seat before answering. “Yeah. It's just my gender.”
“You've never been with someone who knew you're trans then? No gay dates before?” He seemed genuinely curious as he asked.
“Nope. Not a single gay date. Well, definitely none that knew it was gay, I guess? Maybe some secretly gay stuff?” You were basically rambling like Nagito had been before.
“I see. No wonder you're so nervous. Don't be. It's okay to be gay.” Did he really think that was the main issue? It was one small issue. Sure, being trans wasn't something you'd been this open about before, but dating your stalker was way worse than being a little homosexual.
“We can go at your pace,” Nagito adds. It's sweet that he cares about that even though he's totally violated plenty of boundaries already.
“Thanks for that, and thanks for being my first gay boyfriend.” You can't help smiling. Your date–your boyfriend—might be awkward and a criminal who broke into your house repeatedly, but he wasn't so bad. He was trying.

pairing: lottie matthews x fem!reader
word count: 705
notes: this ended rlly abruptly and is short but ive been sick and im on my period so im a bit out of it rn . also not proofread
summary: you find old pictures of you and lottie when you were in high school, and she reminds you of how bad you played the long game with her. requested by @may-z3 <333
Tumblr media
You sat on the floor, next to where the spilled pile of pictures laid, and dug through them. There were years worth of them, most of them random shots you’d taken during Lottie’s soccer games but many of them also pictures with each other that you’d made Shauna and Jackie take during sleepovers or when you went out for pizza after games. There were also a few candids of Lottie that you’d snuck, and looking back at them you resisted a laugh — if only you’d known then that all these years later you’d still be with her, that you would wake up with her every morning and go to bed with her each night.
There were even a few pictures of the two of you post-crash. There were less of them than the ones before, and it was obvious how much the two of you had been struggling when you took them, but they were beautiful nonetheless.
A knock at the open door caught your attention, and you turned to see Lottie leaning against the doorframe, watching you with a soft smile. She was radiant, as she always was, clad in her dark blue caftan, her dark hair hanging over her shoulders and down her back in heavenly waves.
“What are you looking at?” She asked, her voice like honey as she approached you and sat on her knees on the floor at your side.
“I was trying to clean the closet for once, and all of these fell out,” you said, and handed her a few pictures of the two of you by the field at one of her soccer games. “Most of them are before the crash, and they’re so…” you trailed off, nostalgia overcoming you, and you reached for her hand.
Lottie picked up another picture and giggled, and when you reached for it she hid it to her chest, shaking her head. “No, you can’t have this one.”
“Why not? What is it?”
“I took it,” she said, but she wouldn’t provide any explanation.
“Lottie,” you asked suspiciously, failing to suppress a smile, “what is the picture?”
She didn’t respond, and your jaw dropped.
“Is it dirty?” You asked, and her eyes widened.
“No!” She urged, shaking her head. “God, your mind is horrible, no, it’s not dirty. I got pissed at you one night when we were at a sleepover at Shauna’s and I… I painted your face while you were asleep. Just a little. But then Lara Lee made me take it off.”
“What the fuck?” You asked, your tone light, and you snatched the picture. In it you were laying in a sleeping bag in Shauna’s room, and the words I LOVE STINKY ASSHOLES had been painted on your face in what appeared to be red lipstick. “Oh my god,” you breathed, not sure whether you were going to laugh or cry, and beside you Lottie turned red.
“I was mad because you weren’t going to prom, and I didn’t have the courage to ask you to go with me,” Lottie explained, her embarrassment obvious. “But in my defense, I was getting incredibly mixed signals with you long gaming me.”
“Oh, I was not long gaming you!” You laughed, shaking your head. “I was just terrified that you’d reject me.”
She gave you a dubious look, raising her eyebrows. “It’s the same thing.”
“In any case, I won in the end,” you said. “So even if I was playing the long game with you, it worked out pretty well.”
“Don’t make me paint your face again in your sleep.”
“I feel like that’s an empty threat,” you decided, handing her back the picture of you with your face painted. “You can keep that picture, though, if you want to reflect on your past victory.”
“Oh, I’ll be framing it,” she smirked. “I’ll put it on the dresser so you can see it every morning.”

PART 2 His conquest
Spawn!Astarion x spawn!reader
Warnings: Angst, vampire things, hurt/comfort, swearing, dick head Cazador hate his ass xD, abuse, soulmates
Previous part <-
Tumblr media
Brothers and sisters (7)
Petras - male human
Dalyria - female half drow
Karliel - female dwarf
Astarion - male high elf
Naza - female Teifling
You
Sarric - male wood elf
You had no freedom besides inside the castle, even then you were forbidden in certain areas. If you went somewhere you weren’t allowed to you’d end up beaten for your actions. You rarely left the room allocated to you and your so called six brothers and sisters. You were starved so you found out quickly, you didn’t get a proper meal in a week. Cazador would pick to join him for dinner and give you a dead rat, desperate and hungry you always ate it, needing some form of blood. You hated yourself, hated this thing you’d become, you barely got time to yourself, the bath was attached to the room with only a robe curtain covering it. The other spawns had more freedom than you, obviously from being here for years, he sometimes sent them out to find him more poor souls to put in that horrid dungeon. You didn’t sleep anymore no matter how exhausted you were, you didn’t know what it meant to be a vampire or what was included, not like there was some guide to being one. Thankfully tonight everyone had left or was elsewhere, you smelt horrible, too afraid to bathe with the others so close. You cursed the drapes that didn’t hit the floor as you closed them. You tugged off your clothes and glanced to the mirror which was there for some stupid reason, not like you could see yourself anymore. You opened the cupboard grabbing some hair oil and soap before running the bath. Your hand reached to your back flinching at the angry scars you felt. You pulled your hand away quickly hearing footsteps suddenly. You snatched a towel and wrapped it around you and stopped the water hoping they’d leave, you really needed this bath.
“Who’s in there?” You heard Astarions voice, but didn’t answer.
“I’m going to assume it’s you Y/n by your lack of acknowledgement” he scoffed shuffling in the room.
“I’m not going to come in there if that’s what you’re worried about, have a bath for gods sake” he said and you gulped shaking your head. You drained the water and heard the drape open. You jumped seeing Astarion there with a raised eyebrow.
“What are you doing?” He asked watching the water leave. You didn’t answer holding your towel tightly and gulping.
“You smell have a bath!” He grumbled walking in and starting the bath again. You stayed in the corner against the walls making sure he was as far as away you could manage.
“Terrified little pup” he muttered pouring some scented oil in the bath.
“I don’t bite” he commented and you glared.
“I do, I lied” he shrugged. He stopped the water and gestured to the bath.
“Get in” he said and you stared, he was joking?
“You won’t bathe yourself” he huffed going over to you, your whole body tensed and you dashed out the bathroom.
“Hells sake” you heard him say as you awkwardly grabbed some new clothes. You yelped though when you were suddenly lifted into arms.
“Honestly” he huffed as you stayed frozen.
“Put me down” you said voice scared and he frowned looking down at you. Your body trembled in his hold now and his stern face faltered.
“Alright” he said rather softly letting you back to your feet. You stepped away from him and sat in the closet bed legs too shaky.
“The water will get cold, at least use it” he said nodding and leaving the room. You felt small relief fill you, guilt filled you also and pain as you went back to the bath.
Astarion hadn’t felt right the moment he tasted your blood the sweet taste it left made him shudder. Cazador had been eyeing you for weeks and after learning your routine he finally sent himself out. You smelt delicious even from the alley way, when he sank his fangs in and felt the warm blood go through him he felt alive, aroused, so many feelings flooding through him. He felt your panic, fear and felt you slip into unconsciousness, he almost drank you dry if it weren’t for the leash he had around his neck. It wasn’t the usual seduce and take back, Cazador wanted you instantly, no seducing. He felt possessive of your body as he carried you back, Cazador smirking from ear to ear as he took your body away into the unknown room. He didn’t see you for weeks, he felt you though, felt the cold panic, could taste your fear, the realisation that you’d become something you didn’t know was real. His mind was constantly brought back to you and he hated it, you were no one, another spawn in Cazadors army. When he finally saw you he felt relief in his body, you were terrified, body obeying Cazadors every word and command. You hadn’t tasted blood, your hungered eyes staring at the cup in the masters hand. As they sat at the table he felt ridged, as did he’s ‘brothers and sisters’. You knelt by the master like some dog, a slap hit you harshly when you whined. He felt like he felt the slap himself, felt the rage inside him wanting to slice his masters neck more than usual. He couldn’t see you properly from the table, he made sure to keep his eyes on his glass that Cazador so graciously provided, it was fresh human blood, something was going to happen to you. When Cazador forced him to follow him to the carving room he felt his stomach drop, your panic never left neither did your fear. It spiked seeing the room and your survival instincts kicked in. You hit him like a rock, bringing you both to the ground as you snarled ready to rip his neck off. He ceased your hair like you had to him and held you back trying to calm you, Cazador would kill you now. You were torn off him and he felt his body shoot up watching you be laid down in the table. He was ordered to tighten the restraints and your shirt was cut open. Astarion felt sick as Cazador carved into your back, your blood leaking onto the floor. It still smelt delicious, just cold, dead. Cazador had some sick plan to make him watch before he simply left you and him after he was finished.
Astarion waited till he was out of hearing range and cursed undoing your restraints, making sure you were still alive, well vampire alive. He grabbed a rag and pressed it against your back as it slowly healed. He lifted you and took you back to where he and his brothers and sisters stayed. They were all their eyes wide as he carried you. You were too cold, you had been so warm when he held you against him as he drank you, gods.
He cleaned you with a wet rag, glaring at the others when they went to comment, he hadn’t done this with anyone else. He laid you on the empty bed under him hoping you’d heal quickly. When you finally awoke, you were scared and disorientated, you took the blood vial Karliel gave you. When he spoke you snarled at him, it made him amused before he was shooed out. Before he even got down the hall you were rushing past him almost into the sunlight Cazador so nicely placed. He caught you before you could burn to a crisp, your hand just hitting the sun with a hiss. He held your hip and arm panting a bit at the immense feelings he felt from you. You fell from his arms before you turned and brought him down with you. You were once again trying to rip his throat out, only this time fists his face over and over and he let it happen your feelings too much for him before he caught your hands. You looked so broken and he felt his dead heart clench as you sobbed before you stared at his lips. Before he could react your lips went around his and sucked, you must’ve made his lip bleed. He couldn’t ignore the thrill that went through his body, but he had an audience and pushed you off. You looked terrified again and went to the wall crying. He’d asked for more blood, but none of the others didn’t have any making him scoff, but somehow he felt happy about it as he nicked his wrist. Your nose flared and you looked to his wrist as he offered. You denied, hesitated, but when you bit down he hissed trying to ignore the moan that wanted to leave his body as he felt your emotions and his blend together. You pulled from him holding your head as he frowned confused by these feelings. You were a terrified thing, you didn’t know what was going on, he didn’t blame your fear, but you’d have to settle eventually. A week past and you didn’t leave the bed, he swore you would grow some mushrooms if you didn’t move. He caught you moving when nobody was there, you’d get changed, read a book before continuing lying in the bed facing the wall. He didn’t watch you get changed, it was a relief though you didn’t stay in the same clothes and moved your muscles. When he heard water running he got curious asking who it was only to receive no answer and he knew. The water had stopped and suddenly leaving. He pulled the curtain back making you jump and grip your towel as the water left the bath. You were terrified of him more so than the others, he brought this upon you, he didn’t blame you, it hurt though for some reason, but he kept his stern unbothered act up. One thing was certain you needed a bath, you had dirt and dust on you, you were starting to smell dead too. He took it upon himself to run the bath again and poured in some scented oil. You’d darted out though going to the wardrobe, he cursed, stubborn thing you were. He picked you up, you wouldn’t take of yourself, he’d force you to. You didn’t move and the fear tasted sour on his tongue as you spoke softly to let you go. Your voice and trembling made him stop outside the bath as he let you to your feet and left you.
You finished your bath and felt clean for once. You got dressed in fresh clothes and drained the bath. You brushed your hair and went to the bookshelf. You grabbed a random one and sat on the bed sighing. You wanted to sleep, however vampires slept. Your emotions were haywire, some weren’t yours, it was hard to explain, like you were feeling someone else’s emotions as well as yours.

haunted - ethan landry
Tumblr media
ethan landry x reader
❤️🔪 spoilers for scream 6 🔪❤️
warnings: angst, death, mentions of blood, reader visits ethan’s grave, lots of dialogue (one sided obviously), it’s kinda short
a chill had begun to creep up you spine, raising the little hairs on your arms as the sun moved behind a cloud, moving lower and lower in the sky. you weren’t sure how long had you been sitting there in front of ethan’s grave; an hour- maybe two. you sighed as you pulled your jacket from underneath you and slid it over your arms, holding it closed around you. the cool grass that you sat cross legged on felt damp on the seat of your pants, and you absentmindedly plucked at the blades of grass by your feet. you pulled your gaze from the ground, and looked at the cold stone in front of you. you ran your fingers against the engraving, feeling the rough texture under you hand.
it was the first time you had worked up the courage to go see him, and it was like every emotion you had been trying to deal with since he died was washing over you at once. as a matter of fact, you were the first and only person to visit his grave, and you looked to your left to see his father, mother, and sister, quinn, buried next to him.
“i don’t know if it’s weird to talk to you.” you mumbled, after having sat in silence until now. “maybe it’s weird that i’m even here… after everything.” you thought back to everything ethan had done, how many people him and his family had hurt; how he had hurt you. that night in the apartment, how terrified you and your friends had been, and how you still had nightmares about anikas death…how when you closed your eyes you could still see all the blood.
“i…i hate you,” you stuttered, the words catching in your throat as your eyes began to fill with tears. “i hate you for what you did.” you wiped tears from your face, taking a deep breath.
“and i hate that you left me all alone,” you cried. “i hate that its been three months and i still wake up and reach for you next to me; or i wait for your name to pop up on my phone. i hate that i look for you everywhere - no one sits at your table in econ.” you continued.
“i couldn’t sleep one night and snuck into your dorm room; your pillow still smells like your cologne. chad doesn’t live there anymore, he moved in with sam, tara, and mindy. they would kill me if they knew i was here,” you said, and then laughed sadly. “maybe a poor choice of words.” you admitted.
“sam keeps trying to talk to me; she says she understands what i’m going through. i guess in a way she does. i can’t though, not after you tried to kill her. and especially not after i realized a part of me still loved you - even after that.”
“all of your things are exactly where you left them- the school keeps telling me i have to clean your dorm out but i can’t do it. the semester is over soon though, so i guess i’ll have to or they’re gonna throw everything out.” you looked down at your lap. reaching into your bag, you pulled out a plaid shirt you had stolen from ethan’s dresser.
“i- i took a few of your things from your closet,” you admitted. “i don’t know, having a piece of you with me makes it… easier; like you’re not really gone.” you sighed. “why did you have to do this, ethan? what happened to the sweet boy i met a year ago when i moved to new york? what about the plans we made?” you were angry now, and pounded your fist against the granite of the headstone, scratching up your hand in the process but you didn’t care. “how could you do this… to your friends.. to me?” you asked, trying to stop the tears as you stared up at the darkening sky.
“i shouldn’t miss you, you don’t deserve it,” you sniffled. “but i can’t help it. because no matter what you did… somewhere deep down, you were still the boy i loved. i think that’s the worst part you know, because i really did love you. i guess i’ll never know if you really loved me, or if that was just a part of your plan too.” you shook your head.
“i think you must have though- i don’t think you’re that good of an actor,” you laughed, your hands fiddling with the “E” necklace ethan had given you for your 6 month anniversary. you couldn’t bring yourself to take it off, careful to keep it tucked under your shirt around your friends.
“how am i supposed to move on from this? from you?” you pleaded. “you promised me; you told me you would never hurt me.” you looked at the time on your phone, a picture of you and ethan still your phone background that you hadn’t gotten around to changing.
“i’m gonna be late for econ. you’re missing the exam, by the way. we were supposed to study together.” you said, dusting yourself off and putting your bag over your shoulder as you stood up. adjust the flowers you had brought, you watched the petals move slightly in the wind as the blooms lay against the dark stone.
“maybe i’ll be back,” you whispered. “or maybe i’ll move on and forget all about you.” you sighed.
“but i doubt it.”

It was nice having him back. She had missed him. More than she had thought she did. More than she expected.
That was something she needed to tell him today. It was terrifying to consider admitting it to him though. It felt like if she told him, it would give him some sort of power over her.
Was that safe? Was it so bad if it wasn’t?
“Tom?” Her voice was strangled, weak and oh how she hated it. He didn’t answer, probably didn’t hear her as he organized socks and folded underwear neatly.
Mia was about to call out for him again, stronger she hoped but he called for her first. “How do you feel about travel?”
“What?” The question was random.
“You and Sally- do you two travel often?” Tom leaned back, looking out of the closet at her from where he sat on the floor before unfolding himself and standing to move a few more things around.
“No?” She stretched the word out. “Sally hasn’t even been outside of the city.”
“Why not?” Tom stood back, admiring his little piece of space. He had a space in this home now and turning that idea around in his mind tickled him, bringing a smile to his lips that quickly faded when Mia sighed, drawing his eyes to her.
“I haven’t exactly had the time.” As Tom made his way out of the closet and toward the bed, questions were clear on his face. “I’m lucky if I get two weeks of paid time off a year.”
“But for holidays?” He took his time approaching her.
“I work in a casino.” Mia laughed though bitterness tinged it. “I don’t get any holidays. I get 80 hours of paid time off and have to hope I get a few days left over to use for fun toward the end of the year after all the time off one of us being sick.”
“80 hours?” Tom knew Americans tended to take less time off than was healthy or normal, in his opinion, but that was not much at all. If they typically work 8 hour days and five day work weeks, that meant they only took an average of - “That’s two weeks? And you have to use it for sick leave too?”
“Yep.” Mia didn’t like how this conversation felt. “That’s normal.”
“That is not normal.”
“What’s normal to you?” It was easy to think they were the same, once she ignored the financial differences between them but it hadn’t occurred to her in the slightest that the cultural differences would potentially be fundamental.
“Like six weeks once all’s said and done.”
“That’s so long!” No wonder there were so many international guests at the resorts. They had time to travel around the world. “What do people even do with all that time?”
“We live,” Tom sat on the bed next to her. She was sitting cross legged on the edge of the bed -their bed. He was so close that her knee brushed against his thigh. “I can’t imagine having so much less.”
“We make the best of it.” Mia shrugged. “It’s not like wishing for more will make it change. And most of us can’t afford to take unpaid time off anyway.”
“If that wasn’t a factor, what would you like to do?”
This conversation felt more intimate than those they’d had before. This was personal and while they sometimes had deeper conversations on the phone, it felt different having him there with her.
“I don’t know.” Mia leaned back on her hands, stretching her abdomen and trying to remind herself to stop slouching. “Travel maybe. This is all I’ve ever known, working. I can’t really picture anything different.”
“Would you want to go to London?” The question was out of his mouth before he had a chance to consider if he was pushing too much. It had caught her off guard too.
“Sure.” She said after a moment of thinking. “If I could ever manage the time off. I’d have to get a passport and figure out time off and how to afford it. It would be a whole thing.”
“You don’t have a passport?” Tom had always assumed most people had passports in America. It was certainly true of his home.
“Nope,” Mia chuckled. “I never really thought we would need them. It’s not like I’m leaving the country any time soon.”
Tom rested his hand on her thigh, bringing her eyes to his. “You’re in a international marriage now.”
“Yeah, but-”
“Mia, there’s times where it may be advantageous for you to travel with me in the next year.”
“For your career?” Mia didn’t know what she was expecting but she had hoped it was something different, something more.
He realized he went the wrong route. It would take time to learn how they each communicated and avoid eachother’s landmines.
“No! No. I just-” Tom decided to restart. “I told my mum about you. I- she’d like to meet you.”
“Oh, does she know? Like, the real story?” Mia didn’t push his hand off her.
Tom laughed, “Yes, and she’d like to meet you.”
“Is that a good ‘she wants to meet you’ or a bad ‘she wants to meet you’?”
“The good one.” The idea hadn’t occurred to him but Tom was flying by the seat of his pants. This seemed to be how he made the best choices anyway. “Mia, I’ve got a trip back home- London home, coming up in a few weeks.”
She knew that, they had talked about that before he had left but still, it made her sad. He had just gotten there and he was going to be leaving her again. These were things that were scheduled before he had even known her, let alone married her though. Had she any right to be sad?
He had to go back home, just as he said. Las Vegas wouldn’t ever be home for him, she was sure of that. There wasn’t a lot of acting that happened in Las Vegas and surely he would need to act again. He had to work and live his life still.
“I know,” She said after a long pause. “You can’t stay here forever. You’ve got family, friends and work that you’ve got to take care of.”
“You’re family now.” Tom pressed, fingers flexing against the soft of her thigh in a firm grip that lasted for only a second. “Both you and Sally. I would like for you to come with me.”
“I can’t.” Mia’s heart sank. “Tom, I-”
“I know, I know.” Tom sighed, withdrawing his hand. “But I would like it if you could. If by any chance you could take the time off-”
“I can’t.” Mia interrupted.
“Hypothetically.” Tom continued talking over her, “How long would it take to get passports?”
“A few weeks or so? Maybe a few months. Our government doesn’t move fast.”
Tom’s shoulders slumped. Even if he could convince her to trust him with everything, including her financial ability to survive totally, she wouldn’t be able to go with. Oh well, it had been worth a thought. He hadn’t realized how much he wanted to introduce his little American family to his home until the idea had formulated.
“Would you consider getting them?”
“I guess,” She still wasn’t sold on the fact that they would need them. She couldn’t imagine needing them or having the ability to take the time off to make use of them. “It would be nice to have the option to go if things ever lined up.”
“Thank you.” Tom reached for her hand, weaving his fingers between hers before pulling her hand up to his lips to leave a soft kiss on her knuckles.
“Why do you do that?” She hadn’t meant to ask.
“Because I want to?” Worry flashed across his face. Had he offended her? “Is that alright?”
“People don’t do things like that.” Mia quickly stood up but his hand on hers kept her from escaping into the living room.
“They do if they care.” Tom’s voice was soft and firm, something she would struggle with trying to describe to Ashley later. “And I care.”
Tom left her standing there, stunned by the admission. Here she was, struggling all morning to try and find a way to tell him that she missed him and was glad he had returned. But he just threw out an admission like that as if it was nothing when if he had meant it, it could be everything.
He had managed to say those things quickly and easily. It was effortless for him to simply say he cared. Small affections came easily from him. If he kept that up, she was in danger of really falling beyond the point of return.
Was that his goal? Was he being honest? Acting in good faith? Did he really care or was he pretending, hoping that if he pretended long enough the feelings would become real?
Was she worrying about it too much? What if he felt exactly as he said? What if she really did fall in love with him? What if? What if?
What if?
~~~~~<3
Tom was lounging on the couch, his phone in hand when she joined him fifteen or so minutes later. The couch wasn’t the most comfortable one in the world. Part of her wished she had not been so stubborn and gotten one from a nicer store but oh well, what’s done was done.
Tom didn’t seem to mind. He hadn’t commented on the comfort level of the couch. Mia did feel a little bad about how poorly he fit on the couch though, seeing him overflowing off it. He was simply so tall and lanky that he didn’t fit well.
Glancing up, he smiled at her as she sat down. Sally sat on the floor in front of the couch introducing her newest bear to her other stuffed animals all lined up sitting behind a small army of cardboard desks.
“She’s holding class.” Tom informed her with an amused smile.
“Ah, a regular activity.” Mia grabbed her book and fidgeted with it. When they were comfortable with eachother, it was wonderful but it was finding those moments that Mia still struggled with. Tom seemed to fit right in and that terrified her.
“I’ve got a script to pick up in London.” Tom locked his phone at set it on the arm of the couch.
“What for?”
“Another Marvel project.”
“Do you like it?” She wasn’t sure what exactly she was trying to ask.
“The character?” Tom smiled warmly, turning to face her more. “Very much so, yes. He’s very Shakespearean and there’s much depth and complexity to still explore with him.”
“It sounded like you did in interviews.” She said before thinking.
“You watched my interviews?” Tom’s eyebrow rose and she realized they never were quite level.
“I mean, I- a few clips, here and there. I just-” Taking a deep breath, she willed herself to calm down and breathe. What did she have to be embarrassed by? “I wanted to get to know you more.”
“Ah.” The answer didn’t seem to disappoint him though he didn’t say more. He didn’t need to. The soft smile on his face said plenty for him.
“And I missed you.” Finally, she said it. It felt good to say it. It needed to be said. He deserved to hear it. They deserved for it to be said.
Warm fingers thread through her’s. When her eyes met his, he squeezed her hand with a smile. “I’m glad it wasn’t just me.”
~~~~~<3~~~~~~<3
Tom gripped her ass under the skirt of her dress. The silky panties she wore were smooth under his hands but not nearly as smooth as her skin would be. He wanted to tease her and savor her but with how much he had drank, he feared quicker would be better.
Fingers struggled with buttons. It felt like the back of the dress was fastened with every possible fastening at the same time, designed by the devil to hamper men from sealing the marriage. He would swear he felt cords and buttons and a zipper track. What he wanted was the dress off of her.
“Sorry, Darling.” Tom mumbled the words into the swell of her breast he had been kissing.
With both hands, he ripped the back open. It was harder than he expected, taking a few yanks to rip the fabric to the small of her back. with the tension that had been holding her breasts in place gone, they sank slightly into a more relaxed, natural position.
Mia was self conscious for a moment. Her body had been through stresses and showed the wear from a life lived. Though she had never been uncomfortable with the size of her breasts, she knew they lacked the fullness of many women in their twenties.
Her breasts were natural and that excited him. Pulling the bodice down, he was rewarded for his efforts with a warm palmful of soft flesh. He took a pink nipple in his mouth and ran his tongue over the nub.
He needed her and he needed her now.

Vincent Valentine primarily spent his time in his room. If he wasn't in his room, he was somewhere around his house. You had never seen him look at the stars before. You wanted him to get out of the house a little and do something with him. It wasn't hard to find him. He frequented the same places, and you knew him well enough to be able to guess where he was. If you were a stranger, it would be harder to track him.
His house was far into the woods. He had no neighbors that he knew of. If there were any, they were too far away, and he had never met them before. It was hard to get to his house, and it had an eerie feeling about it. Some might even think that it was abandoned. Fortunately, no one came to his doorstep, just as he liked it. You had met him randomly and by accident. It was after many times of running into each other that one of you asked the other out. It wasn't something that Vincent would have done normally, but there was something about you that drew him to you.
You grabbed some blankets from the closet and headed outside. You laid them out and headed back in before heading down to the basement.
“Hey, Vincent.” You said as you made your way over to his coffin.
He didn't like to sleep in a traditional bed and found the coffin to be much better. The one that he had formerly been in had been made bigger so you could both lay together in it.
His red eyes opened up, and they shifted to look at you.
“I want to watch the stars with you.”
He breathed in and slowly sat up. If you didn't know him, you would have thought that he had been dead for years and was only just now waking up. He climbed out of the coffin and looked at you.
“Let's go.”
He had never been one to speak a lot. When he did speak, it was often an unsettling feeling. You had grown used to it.
You led the way to the backyard. There was a small clearing where your blankets were lying. The rest was in the forest. With the sun having gone down, the woods looked terrifying. You weren't afraid, though, as you knew there was nothing in them. At least nothing would come and bother you. You sat down on your blanket, and Vincent joined you. You laid your head on his shoulder as you looked up at the stars. Vincent wrapped an arm around you and occasionally looked at the stars. Other times, his attention was on the woods. Staring off into the darkness. The darkness he had known for many years until you showed up in his life. The small amount of light in his dark world. He breathed out. He enjoyed you and was happy to have you. Eventually, you sat up.
“Vincent, would you like to take things further?”
He looked around before looking at you.
“Yes.” He didn't want to be caught out in the open and in a vulnerable position, but he didn't see anyone when he looked. He knew he could have rejected your offer, but he also wanted to try something new.
He removed his clothes, and you removed yours. He moved in between your legs and began to rub/stroke you. You let out a moan, and he worked his fingers faster. You thrust your hips up into his hand as he continued. His moans were low and quiet as he palmed his own hardened length. He brought you both to cum before he slid himself inside of you. He was slow as he thrust in and out of you before picking up the pace.

Life Goes On
Benedict Bridgerton x Sophie Beckett
Modern AU
Rated: T - Suicidal Thoughts/ Mentions of Child Abuse/ Whump / Major Angst/ hint at a happy ending/ Friends fighting/ Breakups / Character deaths.
Word count: 1.7k
Summary: She’d always been told that she’d end up alone… but now… she truly was.
Author's Note: This is angsty AF. Apparently my muse needs to write Angst at the moment and some hurt with a bit of comfort and a little shimmer of a possible happy ending but it’s mostly WHUMP.
Enjoy
How did you go on when you were left all alone in the world?
Her mother…died when she was 2…
Her grandparents? Gone before she was born.
Her father… gone before she had a chance to say goodbye, but had he ever really been present in her life?
She had no idea but now she was alone in the world without a soul left to care for her… the only soul that had ever loved her… she’d pushed away, feeling so undeserving, unworthy of his love…
She hadn’t belonged in that world so she’d pushed him away before she could poison him against her.
Everyone left her in the end.
Her father was all she had left but now she had no one.
She sat there, on the edge of the building, looking down at the street below, the rain beating down as the tears fell from her face as she closed her eyes and contemplated jumping… no one was left to miss her…
She was alone.
The phone call had come when she’d been finishing work that evening. Alice had been kind enough to give her a few extra shifts to distract her from her thoughts.
She’d not long broken up with her boyfriend, she had felt so unworthy of being with him. She’d met his family, seen how close they all were and she’d seen a future with him. She’d felt her heart falling in love with him and she’d been terrified.
She’d never been in love before, she’d never felt the feeling of being loved by someone and that night before he’d fallen asleep she’d thought she’d heard him whisper he loved her in his sleep and terror and panic had filled her.
The words her step mother had screamed at her on more than one occasion ran through her brain.
Unlovable
Bastard
Daughter of a whore
Unworthy
Unlovable
Who could love her?
He might think he did and she knew she loved him, she knew it from the moment she’d allowed herself to be vulnerable with him, went home with him… she had wanted it all but now…
She had to leave
Leave before he left her and it became too hard.
She did the cowardly thing. She left in the night, leaving a note:
i’m sorry I can't do this anymore. Please know it’s not you… it’s me. Please Don’t follow me. Love Sophie x
It broke her heart but she went, blocked his number, blocked the number of all his siblings, blocked them all on social media, it was cruel but it had to be done.
She’d nearly broken when he was banging on her door, begging her to give him another chance. She sat in her closet, like she used to as a child when she wanted to hide from her step mother and cried.
She took different routes to class, different routes to work and begged Alice not to tell them she was at work if they came in.
Kate had found her though, on a run. They’d screamed at one another. “I really don’t understand what is going on with you sometimes!” Kate had said
“You wouldn’t! You’ve never known anything in your life but a loving family! Being loved, being wanted! Being told every day that you’re worthless, when your own father can’t even look you in the eye anymore!!” Sophie had yelled
“Then stop and let people in! Ben loves you! I love you!” Kate yelled
Sophie shook her head “No, no you don’t. You think you do and that’s what makes it worse. Knowing one day. Like everyone else you’ll leave… so just… go now. Just go Kate. don’t make this harder than it already is!” Sophie said, fighting back tears and when Kate had refused, Sophie just took off, grateful that she was the faster runner of the two and able to hide having spent years trying to make herself invisible.
She didn’t go home that night, she slept in the woods, knowing full well Kate would have gone to her flat to talk to her. It wasn’t the first time she’d slept outside to avoid going home.
But the next day, she turned up to her shift at Crabtree’s when she got the call to get to the hospital.
John had driven her there, gone as quickly as they could but as he dropped her at the door and told her to call him and Alice if she needed anything, it was already too late.
Her father… her step mother… her step-sister… gone… three out of four of them wiped out. Posy in a coma…
Sophie felt her stomach drop through her toes as she collapsed to the floor as the doctors told her the news.
Gone.
She was officially alone in this world.
Her father may not have loved her but he was her father…
Her tormentor was gone… neither her nor her pernicious daughter could hurt her…
She had been alone in this world from the moment her mother died… but now…
Only now did she realise just how truly alone she was.
A nurse came to place a blanket over her, but she shrugged it off, the air was clawing, her heart was racing and she needed to get out. She had to get out of there…
Surely this was all a nightmare, a horrible dream…
As she went to the door of the hospital she saw the rain pouring down, the thunder and lightning crashing around her, reminding her that life was still going on. The coldness of the rain penetrated her and made her feel more numb than she thought was even possible.
She walked out into the rain, her eyes closed, wishing for the lightning to hit her, a car… anything that would end her pain, her misery.
What was she supposed to feel?
She had no idea. Her father had taken her in out of duty. He had left her to the torment of her step-mother, he was never home so he didn’t know about what was going on.
Everything hit her like a train and everything started to hurt, her heart, her feet, her brain… but she knew she deserved this pain.
Wasn’t this what she deserved? Wasn’t this what Araminta told her would always happen?
She’d end up alone. With no one to love her, no one to care about her…
She let her feet lead her to the roof off the hospital, she’d always loved sitting up a tree, on top of a building looking out at places. It was the place she felt calm, where she felt safe. Araminta couldn’t never get to her when she was on the roof of Penwood.
Her first date with Benedict had been at a castle, he’d snuck them in and they’d sat at the highest tower and looked out over the lush green carpet of grass and the flowers around them as they dined on a picnic…
The memory of being happy tugged at her heart and made remember that she left him. She’d chosen to cut that cord. He was gone. The only person in her miserable life that she’d thought that might actually love her for who she was, warts and all…
Kate… her oldest friend, the person who knew some of what she’d been through… she’d pushed her away as well.
She’d truely made sure that she was alone. There was no one left in the world for her.
Her legs finally gave out and she was sitting on the edge of the hospital, looking down at the people below, going about their lives, their lives moving on.
Life would go on…
But did she want it to?
Did she want to spend the rest of her life alone…? She’d thought about ending it for years. On and off… Araminta had goaded her once… saying they’d be better off without her…
No one would miss her.
Well that was true now…
No one would miss her. No one cared.
She was alone. She could do it. It was high enough that if she hit it right…
But then she heard a noise… something above the rain, the thunder and the lightning…
“Sophie…” her name… the voice she knew so well, the voice that had never failed to soothe her soul. She glanced behind her, expecting it to be a mirage, but there he was, soaked to the bone, looking tired, exhausted and a broken shell of a man but he was there.
“I know you told me to leave you alone but Alice called me… she told me… I’m so sorry Sophie…” he said
“How… how did you know… i’d be here?” she said, her voice so horace she barely recognised it.
“Because I know you. Because I love you. Regardless of what that evil woman ever said to you… you are worthy of love… of my love… you don’t have to be alone Sophie… she can’t hurt you anymore… she’s gone… you can get through this… you can let yourself be loved, be happy…” Benedict replied
Every part of Sophie was yelling at her to believe him, to give him a chance but her brain, that part of her brain that always told her she wasn’t good enough yelled at her it was a lie, it was a trap but she just broke down into tears “I… i… don’t know… I don’t how…” her hands covered her face as she sobbed.
She wanted more than anything to let him in, to let him be the person who showed her how to do this, to be happy, to believe that she deserved to be loved but she didn’t know how. She didn’t feel like she deserved it but by god did she want it.
Benedict moved and wrapped his arms around her, wanting to be strong for her, to take on all her pain and her burdens. She was his inspiration, she was everything he’d ever wanted, she was beautiful and she made him want to be a better man. He lowered his own defences around her… he would show her that he loved her with his words and deeds, if she would let him back in but for now…
He’d make do with holding her in the rain, not caring that both of them would come down with a horrific cold in the coming days but he had to be her strength, he would be her anchor “one step at a time” he whispered into her soaking wet hair “just… one step at a time…” he said
“Together?” he heard her quiet whisper in the rain as he felt her body relax into him.
“Forever” he whispered and meant every word of it.

Enjoying Fatness
originally posted on my fet, i doubt anyone here would be interested but reposting it here just cuz
I wasn't always fat, though I've always had a complicated relationship with food. Before top surgery, I had a very big chest (even after an insurance covered breast reduction).
I once read a short story about a trans man who was trying to live as a man in order to qualify for HRT and surgery, and while he himself doesn't do it he thinks of a friend who managed to do it because he was fat, and so his breasts didn't stand out. This was a fictional story so I don't know if anyone like that exists, or if that would even actually work, but I remember it stuck with me. While there wasn't a conscious effort on my part to "get fat," I think this sat in the back of my mind for a long time and, in combination with the general body neutrality my parents raised me with, led me to be more open and happy to see myself gain weight.
I still felt insecure, mostly in interactions with others when I would get teased for my weight. One moment that still stands out to me is when I wore a dress to school, just a simple bodycon dress made from a stretchy fabric I had got from Hot Topic, and as I was walking to my lunch table a girl I had almost never interacted with before told me derisively that I looked pregnant. I didn't buy or wear a dress for probably about 5 years after that, outside of a prom dress I got from the free clothes closet at school, and I spent a long time picking the right dress that wouldn't show my stomach.
I still get uncomfortable and fidgety when I wear dresses, especially anything that's made from a bodycon fabric. I now have a couple dresses, and I enjoy them, but I wish I had more. But I get very 'in my head' about dresses and how they show my stomach, so I don't often try them on or buy them even though I want them. I do better with skirts, and especially enjoy skirts that sweep all the way to the floor, and accordion pleats.
I've had top surgery now, and I don't feel at odds with my body every day. It has been such a relief. Now I pass as a man, I've found that I'm not and don't want to be 'just some guy' - at least as far as clothes are concerned. I want to wear bright colors, swishy fabrics, fuzzy coats, shining and jingling accessories, the whole nine. If being a fat man wasn't hard enough, now I was finding that being a fat femme is even harder. Especially if you're a fat femme who isn't a woman or isn't always a woman.
Dressing, presenting as, and/or being feminine while fat when your body is hairy and seen as masculine is terrifying. Even within fat spaces queer bodies are disliked, even within queer spaces fat bodies are disliked. Embracing, loving, and celebrating myself as a hairy, 'masculine-bodied' person who enjoys wearing feminine clothes and presenting in a feminine, gender bending, campy way, can be difficult at times. It's radical and transgressive and it's sexy and fun as hell.
Even though it's mostly online following and not always personal connection where we talk to one another, I have been bolstered to being able to feel this way and be loud and proud about it and about my sexiness by surrounding myself with other fat, queer people who are loud and proud themselves. A stretch-marked, hairy stomach overhanging flabby hairy thighs that are bulging out of ribbon adorned, ripping thigh highs that were made without fatness in mind... Is beautiful and sexy and fun.
It has taken time. A few years, surrounding myself with people who were fat. Queer fat people who unabashedly loved other fat people, and not only that, but loved fatness. Months of my main online feed being filled with professional photoshoots of fat models, amateur thirst traps from other fat users, and posts waxing poetic about the glory of a fat, hairy bear. To see fat people being loved and celebrated (not as a show of progressiveness or tolerance, but as a wholehearted and genuine love for fatness) and being seen as sexually attractive in part for their fatness rather than in spite of it - has been perspective changing in the best ways.
I've always been generally neutral on my body, I don't think about it as separate from me and I don't sit in the mirror and stare (especially not since top surgery). I don't hate my fat or hate myself for being fat. But I would still feel insecure about my fatness - not because of my own feelings, but because of what I knew about how others would see me. But now I was seeing other people who didn't see it negatively, or even neutrally, but saw fatness as something beautiful, something to celebrate. I took those perspectives, alongside the fat activism that was in my feed and that I seeked out to read, and it's been changing the way I think of myself.
When I step out of the house and my shirt rides up over my stomach, or I drip ice cream on my shirt, I still get a ping of insecurity. But then I stop and I think of all these things. When a skinny person's shirt rides up over their stomach, it's sexy, it's a thirst trap, people reply with a hundred comments of keysmashes and drooling heart eyed emojis. So when my shirt rides up, I know I deserve that same reaction, and that there are a lot of people out there who would give that reaction. When a skinny person eats something messy and drippy, it's sexy, it's innuendo. The same can be true for me. My body is simply my body, but it is neutral. It is fun, beautiful, sexy, and confidence-giving.
I struggle with eating - not out of any desire to be skinny or to control my body, but out of a tendency toward restrictive picky eating that evolved into something more pathologic. Combined with a neurodivergent brain, medication that interferes with appetite, and a fatigued body that often forgets or doesn't want to eat, struggles to plan and prepare food, dislikes changes in routine or exploring new things, & struggles with the sensory side of eating... It's difficult. It has been, and still is. I have found ways that have made me feel better, have helped me onto a path towards healing, but every day is another fight.
Enjoying fatness not just as a tolerance of fat bodies, but as a celebration of fatness and the sensory joy of eating food and feeling yours and other people's fat bodies, has given me a new avenue to explore food and heal my relationship with food and eating.
I am not a feeder or feedee, or particularly aroused by weight gain, and I know the communities have their ups and downs. There are plenty of people in those communities who fetishize fat people and who dehumanize us, all while arousing themselves to our bodies and to their abuse of us. I understand why so many fat people draw a strong line of not wanting to interact with anyone with those kinks or with chubby chasers as a whole. I have had the fortune to fall into a place near the fringes of these kink communities, where it is fat people enjoying, celebrating, and being aroused by their own and other people's fat bodies.
I enjoy focusing on my fat body, my stomach, and the pleasure and sexy-potential of eating in my play, but I only do it with my long term partner who is also fat. If I ever did something like that platonically, I think it would have to be with other fat people. I cannot stand any hint of degradation or humiliation within this play. Me and my partner have experimented with 'hucow' ideas, but that was approached from a petplay perspective, and is more of an intertwining of previous petplay establishments we had made along with celebration of fatness and body worship.
Body worship means to me, as a fat kinkster, fat worship. Not fetishization or dehumanization, but worship of a fat person as a fat person, and not just as a person who happens to be fat.

The Alpha's Boy - Chapter 25 - Part 1
Book Two In : The Alpha's Trilogy
Tumblr media
*Warning - Adult Content*
Alistair 'Star' Claymore-Phoenix
It had been two days since we figured out that I could talk again and I hadn't said a word since then.
At least, not to anyone else.
I did however say a few things to myself, just to see how it would feel.
What it would sound like.
I didn't really know what to do with this new information.
I had an appointment with Dr. Greg this evening and of course, I would have to bring it up.
Which means I'd have to speak again but I really dreaded it.
I hadn't even talked to my Dads yet.
I didn't even know how I was going to tell them How did I tell Miquel?
Preston?
The twins will be so confused, right?
Then I thought of Nana and my heart would sink.
I looked at Riot who was driving the truck to the pack-house.
His hand was holding mine, giving it a squeeze when he realized I was looking at him.
He didn't take his eyes off the road but he did smile softly.
"Nana never got to hear my voice," I whispered, enough for him to hear me but still low, not feeling the confidence in my voice yet.
Riot picked up my hand, kissing my knuckle before signing into my fist.
"I know and that sucks but she'd still be proud of you because she hears you."
"You think she's proud of me?"
"Of course she is. Alister, you've been sober for a few days now, you haven't even been shaking. You've been doing amazing. She'd be so happy."
I loved when he called me by my full name, a flutter in my chest, even though I had emotions filling me to my eyes, tears collecting I still felt butterflies at Riot and the way he worded things, acted.
My hand still pressed to his chin before he set it down.
I smiled a little before turning my attention back to the road and laying my head on the window.
I hadn't had any dreams lately.
Besides one nightmare about Charles Maverick the other day but I had spoken to Riot about it, opening up a little bit about the things that happened to me as a kid.
Of course, I didn't tell him everything.
There was too much to share, and honestly opening up about it all terrified me.
***********
'I had just showered after waking up in a cold sweat' and Riot was making the bed, it was early in the morning and I could hear Preston making breakfast, the three of us getting ready to start our day and let the animals out.
Riot was patient with me, not pushing me to say anything about the dream that woke us both up.
I didn't think I moved that much in my sleep but apparently, I did, enough to wake up Riot and have him wake me up.
'I was kidnapped after the fire,' I started, he just nodded, sitting beside me on the floor where I sat waiting for him to finish the bed.
'I wouldn't say I was physically abused. Charles hit me a couple of times but it was more mental and emotional. He withheld food, made me stand with my face at the wall for hours, kept me in a closet for days.'
'I had a few friends but Raylene, she was like my sister. She was a couple of years older than me but not much and she was Charles' kid. So she was always around. I thought I could trust her.'
"Star..."
His hands were in fists, I knew it was making him upset hearing about it but I just... I couldn't stop now that I had started.
'She would go to him, tell him all my secrets but the biggest thing was when I had gone to her about how much I wanted to leave. I had a plan, I was going to sneak out and run away. I was fast, though they were all shifters, if I left during the night, while he was away I may have a chance.'
'I didn't have a chance but I didn't know that. I thought maybe... just maybe she would help me. Elijah said he was going to help me. I never told her that but he was. She promised to keep, me leaving, a secret but two days later when Charles was due to leave, he stayed instead. I thought he was gone but he wasn't.'
'It wasn't pretty. He had me hand-cuffed to his bed so I couldn't go anywhere and you know what she did?'
"What?"
'She laughed, she came in the next day and laughed at how stupid I was to think I could just leave.'
************
I was pulled from the memory when Riot pulled on my hand as the truck pulled to a stop.
We were at the pack-house finally and I stepped out onto the gravel, Riot opting to park in the driveway this time.
The doctor wanted to see me again for a check-up, just to make sure my levels were all good, I had felt fine since throwing up the other day, honestly, I didn't really feel the withdrawal this time.
I was thankful for that because honestly, how many more times did I need to lose consciousness?
I hadn't shifted either since the mated because I figured I would withdraw at some point and I didn't want to fuck my body up more than it was at this moment.
Riot was steps away from opening the door when it was thrown open and a tall woman ran out, jumping at Riot and wrapping her arms around his neck.
"Oh Reggie, I'm so glad I finally get to see you. I heard you were here a few times and I kept missing you."
I looked at Riot, who looked a little caught off guard as he patted the lady back, she backed off a moment later and smiled widely at him and now that I could see her face I noticed that she looked a lot like him, the same nose, eyes, hair colour.
She looked at me for a moment before looking back at Riot and giving a small frown.
"You never told me you found your mate. You're supposed to tell me the big things that happen in your life."
He sighed, rubbing the back of his head.
"Mom, it's really not that big of a deal."
'Mom?' and suddenly that 'Tik-Tok' song that said 'oh no' a bunch of times started playing in my head.
**********
"Mom?" I said out loud when we talked inside the house, Riot's mom telling us she'd find us after my appointment.
"She normally lives away the pack-house but I guess with Esther's passing she came back, a little late. She's not a bad person, she's just... a lot to handle sometimes. I'm sorry... if I had known she was here..."
"Riot. It's okay."
We walked into the office and Dr. Greg was sat at his desk, he was dressed as he was before, just looking more relaxed this time.
He smiled at us as he stood to shake our hands.
"Ah, good to see you both, Star, how have you been feeling?"
'Fine,' I signed and Riot nudged me in the side, giving me the stink eye before I sighed.
I should have known he wasn't going to translate for me now.
"I'm fine."
The doctor blinked for a moment, obviously caught off guard by me speaking, he tilted his head for a moment before standing up.
"So," he said, clearing his throat.
"We definitely need to talk about this."

List of interesting stuff from when I was in school because I felt like sharing
My middle elementary school gave me and other children asthma. It was a moldy dusty super old school that got closed down a few years ago. A local church bought the playground equipment and its so weird seeing it there.
My class played the telephone game and there was some mean kid that bullied me so I changed the message to "*so and so* is an idiot" and it was said out loud at the end and no one knew it was me that changed it to that.
I got bullied for having misophonia.
One day in kindergarten I brought a stuffed toy dragon to school. I was told I had to put it in my backpack in this weird long closet area thing where everyone else's was hung up. End of day. Got my backpack. Toy was gone. Teacher checked everyone else's backpacks. Not there. It was just vanished. Still no idea what happened to it.
For some reason in first grade I refused to do the morning warm-up work thing and instead drew creatures in my journal. Teacher took pictures of the pages and sent them to my grandma. I also headbutt other kids during carpet time because Spyro. That was also the year I was started on meds.
In music class it was around Halloween time and spooky music was played. There was this one that was like "there once was a woman all skin and bones wooooooooo". It scared me. The teacher made fun of me for it. I went to the art class next door and crafted a kangaroo bat out of construction paper.
For some reason I was just out early and waiting for the bell to ring to tell us to get to the buses. Principal was there. I had this bad fear of missing the bus ride home for some reason. The sight of the area being empty before bell rings looked the same as the sight of the area being empty after everyone got on the bus and so my brain was screaming at me that they were about to leave me so I ran to the buses early even though the principal told me to stop. Yeah anxiety problems started early.
Multiple basketballs got stuck in the rafters of the gym building.
I think I heard one time someone had to call an ambulance because some kid sat on a pencil wrong and was stabbed in the butt.
Convinced my teacher to have a field trip to my place because it was a cool farm.
Got ISS (in school suspension) at least twice because I scratched up bullies.
Fitness gram pacer test. This one girl keeps running long after everyone else has sat down. Eventually just stopped the timer.
Brought this bionicle toy to school. It was this cool big one I had built out of pieces of older bionicles. Had long neck wings and a tail. Should try to draw it from memory at some point. Anyways the day I brought it everyone was brought into the auditorium for an assembly. One of the things the principal talked about was the problem of kids bringing toys to school. It was in my backpack the whole time lol.
Science class had a garden we worked at. In particular I enjoyed digging with a particular tool. I said I wanted it. Learned hoe was also a slang term. The outside world is full of nasty freaks so I would sometimes over think every word I ever say because it might also be a nasty slang term I wasn't aware of.
Grew watermelon there. It was harvested too early. Me, with farm living experience, kept saying that was not ripe. It wasn't. In the teacher's defense though if we waited too long the raccoons would just get it.
My school did a lot of field trips. Went to sciport many times. Saw a film in the IMAX theater for the first time. It was about scary weather phenomenon. I was terrified. From then on skipped IMAX time and hung out with a teacher. One time around Christmas I helped hand out reindeer candy canes to the staff. Few times later I decided to try IMAX again. It was amazing. I loved it so much. Saw it two more times at that school. I'm still angry that the film we experienced first was one that scared me and made me miss out.
One day there was a nothing day close to the beginning of a break. Some kid brought in a movie to watch. DVDs were getting to be the norm I think, so it was kind of weird that he brought in a VHS. It was a recording of that movie Hop from a video camera at the theater. Teacher stopped it when she realized. We almost watched an illegally obtained movie.
In high school there was this chemistry teacher I didn't like. I had this habit of correcting teachers on things. Her worksheets spelled aluminum as aluminium. I told her about the spelling mistake. Later found out that's just how it was spelled in England. I have no idea why she used that spelling.
Something in that chemistry class I'm still upset about. We were doing this lab thing in groups. Were growing crystals on pipe cleaners. The directions included the word tare. I had no idea what that word meant. I don't recall whether we we taught briefly on that word or not previously. I asked her what it meant. She said to ask the others in my group. None of them knew it either. Didn't let me ask another group. So we had to skip that step. Our group was the only ones who didn't get pretty crystal ornaments. Just wet pipe cleaners.

'I remember tears streaming down your face When I said I'll never let you go When all those shadows almost killed your light I remember you said don't leave me here along But all that's dead and gone and passed tonight'
She was five when she got severely sick the first time and she was terrified. She woke up feeling warm and cold at the same time, her throat was scratchy and dry, and her eyes were watery but she didn’t know if it was because she was scared or if it was just a reaction, and her energy was slim to nonexistent which was scared Ellen and Jim.
By now, their sons would’ve scooped the youngest child out of her bedroom and made their way downstairs to watch something on TV or just play with her. Yet, it was dead silent in the house. Ellen got up from the bed and peeked into each of her son’s rooms and was relieved to find that they were asleep still.
She hoped the same for her daughter but when she walked into the room and saw her five-year-old in tears sitting on her bed, she rushed over.
“What’s wrong, honey?”
“Mommy!” She let out a loud cry alarming Jim and he came rushing in as well, not noticing the eldest Hughes child in tow.
“Hey, sweetheart. I’m here, your brothers are still sleeping, let’s not wake them up. What’s wrong?”
“I don’t feel good.” She sniffled and quieted her voice.
Ellen picked her up and placed her daughter on her lap as she sat down, “Jim go get the-”
Before she even finished, y/n leaned over and threw up, trying not to get it on Ellen, “I’m sorry.”
“It’s okay, hon. Jim, go get the thermometer.”
Jim quickly walked out of the room, heading to the bathroom but got stopped as he ran into his son, “Quinn! Morning.”
“Dad, what’s wrong?”
“Your sister’s sick, it’s probably nothing.”
Quinn’s face went pale, “Is she okay? Does she have a fever? Is she throwing up?”
“Quinn! Calm down. I promise you, it’s probably just a little cold. You can go see her if you want, Mom is in there with her.”
Quinn walked into the room to see Ellen hugging y/n. He took one step and Ellen turned to him, “Hi, Quinn.”
“How is she?”
“It’s most likely just a cold. Y/n/n, look who’s here.” She directed her head to her son and pointed to him, “Quinny!”
She reached her arms out for him and Quinn gladly took her, placing her on his hip, “Hi baby bear.”
“I no feel good, Quinny.” Quinn nodded his head, “I know but we’re gonna make you feel better, okay?”
“Promise?”
“I promise.”
Jim walked back into the room, placing the thermometer under the girl’s tongue. Seconds later it beeped and Jim took it out of her mount, “40.6/104”
The parents sigh and start to walk out, “Quinn if you don’t mind can you get her ready quickly, we’re gonna need to go to the hospital.”
Quinn nodded his head and he walked over to his sister’s closet, “Whatcha wanna wear, sweetheart?” Y/n lazily pointed to her brown bear sweatshirt and snuggled her head back into her brother’s chest. Quinn got her ready and sat her on her bed so he could put her shoes on.
“Quinny?”
“Yeah?”
“I love you.”
“I love you too.”
“Are you going to leave me?”
“Of course, not y/n/n. I’m never going to let you go.”
Jack and Luke had both heard the rustling from outside their rooms and they both stepped out into the hallway, “What’s going on?”
Jack shrugged, “No clue, bro. I’m so tired.” The boy saw his sister’s door open and walked in there.
By now, Quinn was sitting on her bed and y/n was lying in his arms, “What’s going on?”
“She’s sick.” Jack and Luke immediately wake up at the news and rush over, spitting out questions left and right.
“She’s got a fever but that’s all I know right now. Mom and Dad are taking her to the hospital.”
“The hospital?!”
“I wanna go.” Luke protests just as their parents walk back into the room, fully dressed, “Oh, good morning you two.”
“Can we go with?”
“Guys, the three of you can’t come with.”
“Please, mommy.” Y/n’s little voice spoke up from her brother’s lap.
Ellen sighed, “Fine. But if you guys aren’t out there in five minutes, dressed, then we’re leaving without you.”
Ellen reached over and grabbed her daughter, the three of them heading out to the car to wait for their sons.
『••✎••』
In the hospital, Jim and Ellen were the only ones allowed to go back with her at least for now, and y/n let her voice be heard. She cried and cried until they relented and let one of them go back with the two. She reached for Quinn immediately and he nodded his head and followed behind his mom and sister, Jim staying with the other two.
When they got home, the boys sat at the kitchen table as Jim tried to give y/n her medicine, “I don’t want to.”
“I know you don’t want to, honey, but you have to. Don’t you want to feel better?”
“Jacky.”
Jack’s head popped up from where he sat and looked at her, “Yeah?”
Y/n pointed to her medicine and then to Jack and glared, “You want Jack to give you your medicine?”
She nodded with purpose and Jim happily gave the medicine to his middle son, “All yours, Jack.”
Jack didn’t complain, it meant that she trusted him and he loved that feeling. Jack poured the liquid into the small cup to the correct fill line and put it near his sister’s mouth. She took it without a hassle and from the corner of his eyes he could see his father throw his hands up in defeat causing everyone to chuckle.
❛ ━━・❪ ❁ ❫ ・━━ ❜
'Just close your eyes, the sun is going down You'll be alright, no one can hurt you now Come morning light, you and I'll be safe and sound'
Later that night, y/n lay in bed by herself, looking at the wall. Her stomach hurt and she let out a barely audible whine. Luke, who happened to be walking by, heard it and peeked his head into the room, “You doing okay, baby bear?”
“No.”
Luke walked fully into the room and sat on his little sister’s bed, “What’s wrong?”
“Stomach. Will you stay with me?”
“Of course, I will.” Luke laid down next to her and she curled into him, “Thank you.”
Luke looked confused, “For what?”
“For making me feel safe. All three of you.”
Luke awed internally, trying not to let tears fall down his face, “No need to thank me for that.”
Five minutes passed and Jack and Quinn got down waiting for their brother, getting up to see where he was. When they saw him lying in y/n’s bed, they made their way over to them, “You guys okay?”
There was no answer as both of them had fallen asleep. Quinn told Jack to stay there as he walked out to grab some pillows and blankets and brought them back to him. The two made their makeshift beds on the ground and fell asleep not long after.
❛ ━━・❪ ❁ ❫ ・━━ ❜
‘Don't you dare look out your window, darling, everything's on fire The war outside our door keeps raging on Hold onto this lullaby even when the music's gone, gone
Just close your eyes, the sun is going down You'll be alright, no one can hurt you now Come morning light, you and I'll be safe and sound’
Ever since then, it was common that y/n had to go to the hospital. As the boys got older, they got more worried. They were busier, Quinn went to college and eventually, he and Jack made the NHL. Luke went off to college and this year he started his official rookie season with the Devils.
However, it wasn’t as often that it happened when they were away, and if it did it wasn’t as bad as having to go to the hospital, just more or less the doctor’s office. They weren’t as worried about her when this happened, getting texts from either there or their parents and calling them to make sure she was okay.
This time was different. Ellen and Jim had run out to grab a few things for dinner and they left y/n at home alone, because she was 16 and was capable of being by herself. Yet, in hindsight, they probably shouldn't have.
They had been gone for twenty minutes already and she thought they wouldn’t be much longer and she could hold on. But she couldn’t. Every couple of minutes it felt like she had a coughing attack, but this last one, blood came up with it.
Wasting no time she dialed the first person that came up on her contacts, Luke.
“Lukey.”
“Hey, y/n/n! What’s up?”
She was glad they didn’t have a game today, otherwise she’d be totally screwed.
“Lukey, I’m scared.”
“You’re scared? Why? What’s wrong?” Luke stood up from his bed and made his way out of his room and towards Jack’s.
He didn’t knock on the door before entering which left Jack to somewhat argue with him about knocking before entering, not that he was doing anything, but manners, you know?
“It’s so bad. Really bad.”
“Well, where’s mom and dad? How bad are we talking?” Jack’s interest peaked at the mention of his parents and scrambled to sit next to his younger brother on his bed, motioning for him to put it on speaker. Luke pressed the button and pulled his phone away from his ear, waiting for the girl to talk.
“They went out to grab-” She took a pause before coughing some more. Jack and Luke looked at each other worriedly, “Y/n?”
“Oh god. There’s more.”
“More what?” Jack inquired, nervousness settling at the bottom of his stomach, “More blood.”
The three were silent, y/n trying not to freak out and Jack and Luke trying not to freak her out. It was quiet for a couple of minutes before the oldest of the three-spoke up, “When are Mom and Dad going to be home?”
As soon as she went to say her answer the front door clicked and y/n rushed downstairs, “Dad! Mom!”
She threw her phone on the counter and Luke turned the volume all the way up in an effort to hear the conversation, “What? What’s wrong?”
“I threw up some blood.”
“Oh my. Get in the car, I’ll meet you two there.” Jim rushed y/n to the car and Ellen ran around the house gathering a few things in case they were there for a while.
Jack and Luke were freaking out, “Dad, what’s going on? Mom? Y/n?” Ellen spied her daughter’s phone on the counter and looked at it curiously seeing her son’s contact name on it, “Luke?”
“Mom, what is happening?”
“We’re taking her to the hospital. How long ago did she call you?”
“I don’t know like five minutes ago maybe?” Luke’s voice broke as he explained to his mom, Jack placing a hand on his back.
“I want you to call, Quinn-”
“No!” Y/n interrupted her mom as she got into the passenger seat, “What do you mean no?”
“He has a game, please.”
“Honey, I think you are more important to him than the game. Let Luke and Jack call him.” Ellen’s voice was stern as Jim pulled out of the driveway.
“If you’re gonna call him, let me talk to him.”
Ellen, and the boys, went to protest but y/n’s face showed desperation, “Fine. We’ll call you two back when we have answers.”
“Don’t bother. We’re already packing.”
As Ellen and y/n were squabbling, Jack ushered his younger brother to his room and told him to go back and he left his phone in his room. Jack pulled his suitcase out of his closet and was halfway finished packing when they acknowledged the two again.
“There’s no need-”
“You’re not winning this y/n/n. We’ll be there as soon as we can.”
Jack hung up and finished packing, meeting Luke and in ten minutes, they were on their way to the airport.
Meanwhile, y/n had dialed Quinn’s contact, nervously chewing on her bottom lip. It was an hour before the game was supposed to start and she had no idea if he would actually answer or not, but to her luck, he did.
“Quinn.”
“Hey, y/n/n. What's up? Need help with some homework?”
“I’m going to the hospital.”
Quinn dropped his stick as he stood in the locker room, some of his teammates glancing at him worriedly, “What is it?”
“Same old, same old, but this-” Her sentence was interrupted by another coughing attack and Quinn could hear their mother telling her to take it easy in the background.
“What do you mean it’s worse?” Quinn didn’t need her to finish the sentence for him to know what she meant.
Elias was standing next to him, a hand on his shoulder to ground him in case anything got out of hand, “I coughed up some blood.”
“You what?!” Quinn’s voice echoed through the clubhouse, “Quinn what’s wrong?”
The boy shushed his teammates, “Quinn, I’m probably fine-”
“If you’re coughing up blood you are not fine. Do Mom and Dad know? Do Jack and Luke?”
“Yes, Mom and Dad know, you idiot. Who do you think is taking me to the hospital? And yes the other two know, I already called them. I didn’t want to call you because you have a game.”
“I couldn’t care less about the game when my little sister calls and tells me she’s on the way to the hospital. Let me talk to coach, I’ll be there as soon as I can.”
“Quinn, no-”
“Nope, la la la la. Blah blah blah. I’m coming. Give the phone to mom.”
“But-”
“No.”
Y/n reluctantly handed the phone to her mom but as she extended her hand, her arm dropped and the phone clattered to the ground. The only thing Quinn could hear was the faint yelling of his sister’s name from his mom.
『••✎••』
Y/n was lying in the hospital bed when Jack and Luke watched the only show that was on this late at night, Family Feud. She was trying to answer but every time she went to speak she’d start coughing. The two ran in just as y/n’s previous coughing attack had subsided and she was now glaring at the TV because someone said a stupid answer.
“I said sex first, asshole. But no one wanted to listen to me.”
“Glad to see you haven’t lost your sense of humor.”
“Jacky! Lu!” Y/n had a dopey smile on her face as she saw her brothers. They couldn’t tell if it was the drugs or if she was just being herself.
“Hey, baby bear. How you feeling?”
“Mom, can I swear?”
Jack laughed, “Aren’t you the one who just called someone an asshole?”
“Mom! Jack’s being mean.”
“Jack, stop torturing your sister and yes, y/n, you can swear.”
“I feel like shit.” Luke nodded, the only one who seemed to have sympathy for the girl right now, “What did the doctor say?”
“I don’t know, I wasn’t really listening.”
Ellen and Jim explained how it wasn’t a big thing and that she should be able to go home in a couple of hours or so. The two stayed with her until she was discharged and drove home with the three where Luke carried her upstairs to her room because she fell asleep on the way home.
That’s where Quinn found them when he got there, Jack and Luke on either side of her in her bed as they watched the Game Show Network. One of the many stuffed animals that Quinn had gotten her wrapped in her arms against her chest.
“Hey guys.”
“Quinn! You’re here.”
“Of course, I’m here. I couldn’t let those two take care of you.”
Jack and Luke feigned offense at the eldest child but Jack moved over so Quinn could sit where he previously was, knowing y/n always chose to be close to him when she was sick.
“You doing okay?”
“Could be better, but I’m happy you’re here.”
“I’m never letting you go, none of us are.”
“Please don’t leave me.”
It was something the three had already talked about, they had already talked to their coaches and were scratched from their next couple of games because their sister needed him.
Y/n spent the rest of the night surrounded by her brothers feeling safe and sound.
