....So apparently you can have an "oh shit I love this person" moment without it being a dating/attraction thing.
#jaxon speaks#aroace#bi aroace#demisexual#aromantic#aromantism#aro#arospec#aspec#aromanticism#For some context#If you havent seen my blog header me and Demy are very much bi and aroace at once#But it still means that romantic attraction isnt... quite a thing for us#But relationships and some sort of unknown 3rd type of attraction still is#And we can tell when its that 3rd type of “i would be willing to date this person” type of attraction even if its more based on logic#again its weird and this is the best way to describe it#And for a while that and familial love was kinda the only type I would feel for people#Until this year!#Now im getting these “oh fuck” moments from friends that I have no intention to date (they are either in relationships or straight anyway)#Which its...nice#but its also a completely new side of my aromanticism that im completely new to#But yea this was triggered by a good friend of mine replying “wishing you health bestie” to a discord message i sent about not feeling well#And i reacted with a heart which is normal for me#But then i also whispered “love you” to myself as i did it#Which then led me to my little “oh fuck” moment lmao#This isnt the first time ive gotten this moment with him but it still hits kinda funny#Loving someone completely platonically without wanting to date them is super new to me lol but i do like it#Anyways sorry for le long rant i post now!!!
