Ok so im not into JJK as much as i am into Genshin and HSR and all but im aware of season 1 plot and some of season 2. But can i request Gojo and Geto with an underclassmen who they have a sibling like relationship die and came back as a curse spirit? (While this request have them together, you can make them seperate if you want)

Here the context:

So the reader is a year below Gojo and Geto. After some time since you guys met, the two of them sees the reader as their cute little sibling and in return the reader sees them as their cool big brothers. All was fine until the reader died from a mission. How did the reader die? They dont know. Both of them werent told how the reader died but if there’s one thing they were sure of, the reader wasnt killed by Jujutsu. Because what other explanations do they have when they see you come back as a vengeful spirit? A vengeful spirit they need to take out.

So in the JJK wiki, it is said that “Sorcerers must also be killed with Jujutsu or they can become a vengeful cursed spirit after death” Which makes a very good angsty sceanrio dont you think?

Back from the dead.

At first, you appeared in the flickers of lights, in the corners of mirrors, in the shadows casted by trees and their own bodies, in reflections of windows and water, in gruesome, awful dreams.

And then you began being there in larger ways. You'd stand behind them, follow them around, no matter where they went, no matter where they looked, you were right there.

It was easy to ignore you at first, act like you didn't exist, like you were just a part of their traumatised, exhausted imagination. When was the last time they had slept properly? Perhaps the day before your funeral. Your face was plastered everywhere, a smile gracing it like it always did, an excited, pure one for a sorcerer. But there was nothing to be excited about anymore.

Maybe that's why you looked so sad now, as you stood in front of them in this classroom that was reserved for people a year older than you'll ever be.

Suguru wondered if you felt guilty for taking the color of their world away with you when you died.

"You know... denial never suited you, 'toru." You whispered quietly to Satoru, breaking this suffocating silence at last. Your body leaned against the desk a row in front of him. It all felt so casual, as though everything was perfectly fine. You never left. You simply came back a little different.

This was the first thing you've ever said since you've come back, Suguru then solemnly realised in his depressive haze. He nearly didn't hear you and wished he hadn't either. Your voice sounded distorted, like it didn't belong to you at all. But it was still you... wasn't it?

The only visible sign that Satoru meanwhile had even heard you was in a stutter of his hands that in turn messed up his text to Shoko again. He took a deep breath and exhaled shakily. What was he even texting her for again? Maybe for help? For a way out? "I'm seeing things again, Shoko. They're talking now." That's what your colorless eyes could read off his broken phone screen, which made you frown a little. You knew he'd never want to upset you. But he never wanted to face you again. Not like this.

It was so unlike him too, wasn't it? He hadn't been the same for a while now.

It was late in the afternoon by then, the orange hue filtering into the empty classroom through the blinds. An awfully nostalgic feeling that was now filled with tense bitterness. A past filled with laughter and joking now seemingly disappearing into the smoke of the burning incense sticks nearby.

Neither of them had said a single word for the entire duration of your little "hang out" session. Suguru simply leaned his head against his palm, gaze turned to a far away point in the darkening horizon outside, as the sun bid it's last warm goodbye. He took a deep breath, words shaky and filled with a deep exhaustion, not even his dear best friend could ever come close to feeling.

"Let him be... he'll come around eventually." The blackhaired boy muttered back to you, not bothering to look at your bloody, dead form anymore. He had come to terms with it a while ago. Or at least, visibly, he has.

Gojo just took a little longer in accepting your death, is all. Neither of them really knew who was handling the situation worse.

"Who are you talking to, Suguru?" There it was again, the odd denial the white-haired teen had drowned himself in. You never thought that he'd be the one to end up like this. You figured that Suguru would've had it harder, but perhaps this was just one of the many new things you've learned as a spirit. "Stop it, Satoru... you're not helping with any of this. It's just... making things worse." Gojo's teasing smile twitched, his head turning to look at his friend before he seemed to slowly deflate into his seat. You probably could only imagine how red and puffy his eyes were behind the sunglasses he refused to take off nowadays.

But in a way, you must've also understood why he was this way. How couldn't you?

Your death was untimely, unexplainable. No one knew what happened, and your body was never found either. One day, you were absolutely excited about going on a mission with your two favorite seniors, four hours later, you were missing, and a week later, you were declared as dead. The only proof they really had was a piece of your bloody uniform floating in a river nearby where the mission was supposed to take place. Other than that, there was no trace of anything else regarding you.

Suguru wished they would've at least had something to bury you with. Your casket was empty. And Satoru was ashamed to admit that he dared open the lid in a desperate attempt to see if you were in there after all. Just hiding, waiting to jump out and scare him. But seeing nothing made him break.

Everything got worse when you reappeared as this, however. A vengeful spirit that simply followed the both of them everywhere. You were relentless. And yet, neither of them could ever find a single trace of anger on you. Their guilt was heavy enough to make up for it, though.

It didn't help that Satoru refused to talk about it, even when they knew what they had to do. You only ever appeared around them, and both of them had made the unspoken decision to deal with you themselves. They felt like they had caused your death indirectly. The what if's kept piling up higher and higher until it eventually brought them here.

They thought that they were finally ready to move on, but oh, how wrong they were. It was so hard to see you as a simple spirit to exercise when you still looked like yourself most of the time. It just got bad when you looked dead. They couldn't hide behind their excuses and delusions when you looked like this.

Time ticked on and the silence was deafening again. You leaned in close to Satoru, glossy eyes staring into his side profile. "Stop ignoring me. I know what you're here for." You hummed, face devoid of any emotion. But the constant dripping of the blood that poured out of your nose and lips made Gojo close his eyes for a second longer and gulp down the painful lump in his throat. It was childish, absolutely stupid. But maybe... if he acted like you weren't there like always... then you wouldn't be. You were just a hallucination, surely. Neither of them had slept or eaten properly in months. He just had to pray that you'll go away, finally find the peace you were looking for.

But when he opened his eyes and you were still there, he just bit his lip. He couldn't take any of this anymore.

"Tell them to go away, Suguru. Please." "So you're finally done pretending now?" The blackhaired male asked, glancing back at his friend for the first time in hours. The great Satoru Gojo. The strongest of them all. Now reduced to nothing more than a miserable teen at your death. It would've been funny if he wasn't actually losing it right now.

Suguru shook his head at the lack of response before getting out of his chair and standing over the white-haired sorcerer. "Let's go outside." He said, not waiting for the other to agree before pushing past you. Or rather through you. He shoved his hands into his pockets to hide this really was for him. As expected, however, he heard Satoru's footsteps following behind him with ease. Typical.

The walk was silent and rather aimless. Neither of them knew where they were going. But their subconsciousness seemed to know. Suguru's body felt heavy, like he was dragging and fighting himself with every next step he took. He felt uneven and unbalanced. Like he'll fall over and break apart at any moment, and he doubted Satoru would be able to glue him together with shaky hands and teary eyes.

Geto pulled a hand through his black hair, strands unkempt and messy as they fell down hus shoulders. He caught a glance at his face in a mirror, the dark circles, even darker eyes staring back at him near accusingely. The anger and festering hate hidden under a thick layer of sadness.

"They weren't killed by a sorcerer." He suddenly said when they arrived at the schools courtyard. Satoru glanced at him, frowning a little. "Why does it matter now?" He asked, yet his best friend didn't bother answering. Why should he bother when the white-haired male was unwilling to wake up to reality. Instead, he stared at the Sakura trees filling the area, the ones you loved the most. And as expected, you stood right under them.

Your hands were clasped behind your back, smile so gentle and serene, that it made it look like you were simply waiting on them as always. And in a way, you were indeed doing so. Geto was thankful that your consciousness was strong enough for you to realise what was going to happen next. "Can you do it, Satoru?" He whispered, voice so soft, that it made Gojo actually consider it for a moment. But despite always having prided himself in being the strongest, he just stood still. Suguru couldn't help but smile tiredly at him. Perhaps the other boy would be happy about this if his smile didn't seem so bitter and exhausted. Like it took up all of his energy to force the corner of his lips to go up.

"I think they are the one thing I could never exorcize." "I'm glad you're being honest... I can't do it either." The two boys approached the empty bench next to your form before simply sitting down. There was a large gap between them, one reserved for you.

Your smile stretched wider as you took their silent offer of defeat and took a seat as well.

Gojo tensed when you leaned your head against his shoulder, a familiar melody leaving your lips. Suguru leaned his arms on his knees and listened to you, eyes closing with a tired sigh. Perhaps playing pretend was easier. Perhaps you were never meant to leave them in the first place. Maybe one day someone would free them from you, someone who was stronger, someone who wasn't ever going to be them.

You were back from the dead, and they figured it was better than you having left them for good.

If only they could ignore the mangled state of your body too.

Ok I keep forgetting to submit my own Yax propoganga but I have put so much thought into them.

They have the same sense of humor, we literally see them tell almost identical jokes. They’re both such dramatic showoffs and they both are schemers, they're both the brains of their group (friends v family)

Beause Yakko isn’t as open with his emotions, he’s more sarcasti. But Max has been truthful about what he feels since Goof Troop. It's there on the surface and he communicates and understands in ways that would be SO good for Yakko. They're two sides of the same coin. They are opposites but they support each others weaknesses. Yakko wants so badly to make people laugh, and it’s so important to him to do so. His self worth is connected to it, but Max doesn’t like his laugh and suppresses it. It practically writes itself. So yeah, there’s all the fun WB/Disney forbidden lovers, but it works off a dynamic that would already work really well. That's why I like them so much

Like, from Dot and Wakko's side, moving away from Yakko and his boyfriend for a moment.

Dot and Wakko need someone to be friends with outside of themselves. They need familiarity and kindness.

Who better to open the Warner's to a kinder life, than a toon from a company all about the power of familial and romantic love? The themes that surround Max and Goofy, as well as many other Disney's, are exactly the kind of thing that those kids need the most.

Yakko being happy is a the first part, but having the Warners brought into the family by Goofy Goof, the man with so much understanding and love to give, who GETS kids, and has always let Max be a kid and help him through it, his appearance through Yakko amd Max knowing each other gives the Warners a positive adult figure in their lives who will be there to support them instead of criticize them for being "too much".

Yax isn't JUST about Yakko and Max, it's about the connections these kids make that starts with the eldest opening himself up. It's about learning the world around them isn't just filled with people who want them locked up.

The world is also filled with people who embrace their weirdness and energy, and who will guide them. Even if you just like yax as friends, you have to see the potential there is for all of them

The Warners and the Goofs, to have lives grow richer.

And more, with them being from seperate companies, their worldview would be able to grow to incorporate new ideas and thoughts. The Warners aren't very open with their emotions, so a father son duo who have always been open and communicative would be able to show them the benefits of doing so themselves.

Plus, watching the Warner Siblings wreak havoc with a smile, hurting no innocents, would be exactly the type of thing to make Max smile.

He could help do smaller damage control if need be as well, he's been accounting for his and his Dad's Goof Luck since he was born, and for the fallout of his own insane schemes. Adding in the brilliant and mischievous mind of Max Goof to the minds of our puppy children trio is golden.

They deserve each other, deserve kindness and acceptance. ALL of these kids do. And every single one of them get that through Yax.

Propaganda for Huey Duck/Wakko Warner:

Huey and Wakko are classic opposite attrack characters, while also touches of "you're drawn to people who remind you of your family" thrown in. They're both very autistic coded characters (because their shows are cowards and refuse to say the word) but in opposite ways. Wakko is very outside of the norm where as Huey holds himself to a strict set of rules. While Huey adds a bit of routine to Wakko's life, Wakko encourages Huey to cut back, go outside of his comfort zone at his own pace and also relax a little. Wakko reminds Huey of both his siblings, excitable and dramatic like Dewey, and laid back (compared to his siblings) and mischevious like Louie, where as Huey reminds Wakko of his own siblings. A bit more uptight and bratty like Dot, and intelligent and encouraging like Yakko. They also bring out different sides of each other, Wakko can be gross and messy and Huey somehow finds it charming, and Huey can help Wakko see that he's intelligent and creative in his own ways rather than being outshined by his own siblings. They both also have anger issues, and Wakko would be great at helping Huey to feel his anger rather than always keeping it hidden away. He makes Huey feel seen and heard and taken care of because Huey doesn't have to be the Older BrotherTM around Wakko. Basically just opposites attract autistic kids who help each other come into one another.

i am in love. you've infected both me and my sister with your brainrot and captivating fics, we've talked about it non-stop the past few days, so naturally we have some questions.

But first, i want to ask what your boundaries are w/ fanart and writing. i've already drawn a couple pieces, are you alright with me posting them, and what should i tag them with? Also, i'm feeling very inspired to write more zed and tango for the travelling thieves au, is that alright if i take your ideas and just yoink them? Im not planning to post whatever i write at this point :P

anyways, moving on, i have a few world-building questions for you, starting w/ traveling thieves:

how does the mercenary guild and hits system work? Can anyone put a hit out on anyone, or do they have to be a wanted criminal? also, how does gem choose her targets? i like to believe she has some sort of moral compass in picking, but knowing the world they live in, i can't be certain

this is less of a question, but i don't see how the world can be resolved. For ttsbc, the obvious solution to the undercity folk living freely is that they overthrow the overcity government or just remove the laws keeping them banned. Sure, it'd be difficult, but from what we've seen, most people don't actually have strong prejudices against the undercity, they just vaguely believe they're evil, which can be very easily disproved. For traveling thieves, it's completely different, because not only is the discrimination in the government, it's in the people themselves; merely changing the laws would not change how people see hybrids, so how can that be fixed? My best solution to them all getting a happy ending is that they run away and found their own civilization where all hybrids can be free, but it doesnt seem like a likely scenario

again, not really a question, but I'm so so so happy in the latest fh piece that they looted the bodies of their attackers. the first time i read it through, i was practically screaming at the screen, telling them to grab the loot and weapons before they continued

4. how do the mobs work? do they act like any normal animal, in that they just kinda exist and happen to be very hostile, or do they follow minecraft mob mechanics and spawn into existence from nothing when the conditions are right? could they theoretically all be exterminated? do all of them dislike light, like the zombies in the cleo bdubs fic? if they do, why are they making their way to the overcity?

5. how did the undercity become a thing? Was it just always there, or was it manmade? did hybrids and mutants always live underground? are the pits really bottomless? and if so, is the world a globe, or is it flat? i understand you might not have thought very deeply about these things before jumping in, but my sister and i were theorizing about different answers. i figured the undercity isnt manmade just like the grand canyon isnt manmade, it just came about through natural processes, and mutants and hybrids just evolved(?) seperately from humans, underground, which is a whole other can of worms with the science behind that. an idea about the "bottomless" pits has to do with physics. at the center of the earth (if it were hollow), you wouldn't feel gravity because it would pull on you equally in all directions. so maybe the bottomless pit really just leads to the center of the earth, and you're not really falling forever, you're just suspended in the center forever lol. not falling, but not hitting the bottom, either

anyways, this was a really long ask (i hope thats ok), and i still have more to say, but i'll leave it there for now. again, i love the angst, and have a wonderful day. im gonna try to get some work done, but it probs wont happen with all the brainrot XD

ONTO THE QUESTIONS 🏃‍♀️

The mercenary guild is basically like the underground/illegal version of the adventurer guild, and they'll take any jobs that the adventurer guild won't. Blackmail, assassination, smuggling, you name it. Gem has something of a moral compass, but it isn't exactly the strictest thing in the world. We learn when she meets Mumbo in Grian's wing preening fic that she is on her way to assassinate a noblemans son, and while that is a bit of a wink wink nudge nudge if you can figure out who that son is, exactly, it's still Gem agreeing to kill a teenager who is guilty of little more than pissing off the wrong person. Cruel world and all.

Perhaps that's exactly point? 😌 With Traveling Thieves, I did not set out to make a world that could be resolved or escaped from...the whole point is that it is cruel and inescapable, and the best you can do is continue to protect yourself and those you care about...and even then, you might fail to do that. You might be set up to fail in a sick system that would never give you a chance in the first place. And the best you can do is try to put the pieces back together in the aftermath. I don't want Traveling Thieves to resolve in any traditional sense of the word...for where that'll lead all our various characters, well, you'll have to wait and see. 🤔

Loot that body LOOT THAT BODY NOW 💃

They're like your typical minecraft mobs, they spawn in places with low light levels! We've also got some homebrew monsters that I've come up with, such as the bird-men, that we will be meeting as time goes on. Certain monsters such as zombies do avoid light, but there are plenty of monsters will go above bedrock just like certain monsters in minecraft can survive in the sun, like creepers and endermen. No, they can never be exterminated because of how they spawn!

The pits aren't bottomless, we've seen the bottom after all, where Pearl, Jimmy, and Grian were in the Depths! It is a natural chasm beneath the bedrock, and the various caves and tunnels stretch are incredibly huge and diverse, so while everything connects back to the main cavern of the under-city that's so huge, there are also other caves and tunnels where other groups live that we will be learning about eventually, such as the blaze-born pyres or where Cub is from in the Deep Dark!

It is completely totally 100% ok! I love getting long asks like this that give me the chance to develop and worldbuild the AUs and mention some details that might never really show up within the fics themselves! So by all means send more questions and thoughts! And I'd also love to see the fanarts you mentioned if you still are up to posting them, I can't draw so anything anyone draws that has anything to do with my AUs makes me incredibly happy! 😆

like, there is at least a clear thesis statement for minato and souji ("being indifferent to death until its time to go and realizing you actually do love the world and your friends that inhabit it" and "whether its the city or the boonies what matters is your connections with others for better or for worse".. ofc this is my own interpretation.) and they are a little similar but they are stories written by the same guy and he's known for recycling elements though i DO NOT consider having similarities in this case to be recycling.

i have always maintained that p5 is hashino at his most self indulgent... and his most spiteful. everyone knows about the artbook exerpts where he talks about the female social link characters in weirdly disparaging ways. i think ikutsuki and adachi are also reflections of his spite, but they are also a bit "relatable" to him. despite this the thoroughline for all three of his twist villains are his hateboner for anyone who seems nice on the surface (all three) and are perfect/good at a first glance (ikutsuki and akechi). akechi he wrote fully to be some kind of hatesink, it is honestly seriously meanspirited how far it goes, if you look at it from that angle it immediately becomes clear. this is not a post about akechi but i think it is important to talk about because of how critical it is to understanding hashino. with akechi it was so... yeah no you wrote this character to assauge some kind of deep rooted insecurity.

it's the same with ikutsuki, but at least for him, he was an adult. with akechi hashino was lording over a 16 year old in an abusive situation. after a while of thinking i could not really seperate that, knowing how spiteful his writing is. even with the p4 gang! look at everyone's shadow selves. and then compare to the p2 shadow selves. it is so spiteful and it is super clear to me that it is at least somewhat influenced by how he sees other people which makes me very sad to think about. i think he needs to clean his brain for real.

because p5 is the most indulgent in hashino's spite it really falls apart... and that influences joker immensely. we can sit here and talk about how p4 can get really unpleasant but at least at its core even if its weirdly executed the message of p4 is there even if the commitment to it is incredibly questionable. the reason why royal is so good is because the addition of maruki (and kasumi) injects a much needed angle of empathy into p5. needless to say the humanization of akechi in royal whos hatesink status in vanilla was so excessive it made little to no sense also helps.

i can't even talk about joker even though this post is about him. because he is so nothing in his own story. there's nothing to talk about. his existence or lack thereof outside of royal exclusive content makes no difference. you could make mishima the protagonist or any rando really and not much would change. joker's existence might as well just be to be an actual self insert, which is insane to me, i never consider most protagonists in ANYTHING self insert unless i am explicitly told "this is You, form You however you want" (like for example harvest moon).

Alright here we go, I haven't done this in years but decided to do it this year as a kinda roundup of some of the best games I've played this year and why I picked them, my kinda criteria for picking them is they have to be games I've actually finished, and actually came out this year, I don't usually include ports but remakes do make it in for me, and there will be a section near the bottom for games I did like a lot but didn't actually come out this year, so uhh let's get started i guess gonna get the Triple A junk out of the way first I think, so first off:

Spider-Man 2, rly liked the first one and the Miles Morales games and this one just continued on the story and whatever, it improved on a lot of things over the first game and I think it ended up just being more enjoyable overall, plus like, 19 inches of Venom and whatever, villains maybe weren't as good as the previous game but there was some rly good gameplay sections with some of them, tho once again i felt like the sidequests fell a bit short but they did at least have boss fights and more villain stuff in them so that was good, good game 👍

Pikmin 4, and no i'm not editing this picture thank u, pretty much the best one in the series? just good overall and even tho i didn't 100% it i'm pretty sure the bonus mode you get is just a mini remake of the original game so that's cool, overall really good, definitely dragged near the end tho and kinda felt like it was going on too long, but still good, this was also like the only major Nintendo release of this year i played for more than like, an hour lol, outside of one dlc game 3 be:

Final Fantasy 16, this one is weird because I both loved and hated it at the same time, not rly much to say about it other than its the worst 10/10 video game i've ever played, it has some of the highest highs in anything i've ever played and its offset by some of the most boring shit in the world that made me want to eat my own head at times, it's good but it's also shit, it also runs like absolute ass for no reason and square enix were convinced it was totally 100% fine and didn't need to be patched and even when they did it still didn't fix it, there's literally no way I can sell anyone on this game, play Asura's Wrath instead 👍 okey i guess 4&5 are kinda gonna be rolled into one so:

Dead Space and Resident Evil 4 Remakes, both really good remakes of really good video games, but at the same time don't really replace the original versions? there's both no reason to play these over the OG releases but they're also different enough that it's fine for both original and remakes to exist, so worth playing if you like the original releases, i guess the only complaint i have is they cut out operation Ada and seperate ways from RE4 remake and then sold it back to us as dlc, but its actually more complete than the original version and worth the price i think, still annoying but hey, modern videos games babey

ok i guess next is like "non triple A games" and weird games that I enjoyed, not all of these are indie games but they're not triple A stuff so? 🤷

Robocop: Rouge City, its basically Robocop 2.5 the movie the video game, it's kinda jank, it's kinda slow to be expected but it's pretty fun and funny just seeing Robocop interact with people and then like, grab people off their motorcycles and throw them into exploding barrels, it's dumb it's good it rly captures the 80s jank of Robocop pretty well 👍 next is technically a game that didn't come out this year but it did because literally no one uses apple arcade so

Air Twister, this is probably the fucking weirdest game i've played in a very long time, i went in expecting to play a modern Space Harrier instead i got a lock on style shooter with a soundtrack that is just some band emulating Queen songs, no joke, i was just blown away the whole time at what was happening, it wasn't until i died and ran out of credits that i ended up in the games main menu which had so much stuff i was just clicking menus for about 20 mins and kept discovering more and more video game nonsense to play and unlock, SUPER weird, pretty fun, Yu Suzuki why did you release this on apple arcade originally and WHAT were you on when you made this sir, good job next i guess is

Graze Counter GM, an updated/sequel to Graze Counter, one of the first Shmups i've gotten in to and it's just really fun, loads of characters, about 8? stages to play, good basic gameplay mechanics, bunch of different difficulties and options to play with and it's just a lot of fun for a 20 min ish run through the game, def inspired me to play more shmups and get better at them, good game next we finally got some FPS games

Warhammer 40k Boltgun, classic boomer shooter style game, very stompy and heavy feeling but also really fast and fun, really enjoyed how colourful the game is and the fact there's a dedicated taunt button that does nothing by make you crack your knickles and yell things, only major complaint i had was there wasn't enough boss variety and one of the is kinda straight bs some of the time, but for the most part it was a lot of fun, also corvus helmet best helmet 👍 more FPS gamign which was a semi recent release?

Sprawl, it's currently on sale but its cheap anyways, from the banner art alone you can tell the dev is a MGS and Ghost in the Shell fan, and playing the game you can tell that too somewhat, really fun really gritty and pretty fast paced, has controllable slomo bullet time which is now something I love in games?? soundtrack is good and yeah, it's just good, really cool aesthetically has that very gritty industrial kowloon walled city cyberpunk look and feel to it and very satisfying to play, really good. last thing for games this year is a DLC

I really like the Xenoblade Chronicles series, and the XB3 dlc is a really good final wrap up of the game, lots of fanservice in the good way and just plays well and is fun, ties up a lot of story junk you'd want to know, I still think the XBC2 dlc is the best playing XBC thing but this is very good and just very fun, can't say too much without spoiling anything in the series lol but I enjoyed it a lot after finishing off XBC3 ok halfway there (joke) :^) next is games that didn't come out this year but I did play and really liked sooo

I got into racing games i guess around this time last year, I picked up Gran Turismo 7 in maybe January or February and played it a lot since, not the most exciting game or best or feature full but it has stuff that I like, and as a result has gotten me more into cars, car games and just made me better at it, had a lot of fun and the big update they did semi recently has just made the game better yehaw time??

not really much to say about Evil West other than it's what a new xbox 360/PS3 era action game would be like, just without the jank and with more convenience, not afraid to be cheesy and dumb its just a standard level based action game where you're a techno cowboy kinda guy fighting vampires, it's good it's fun and it's not that hard 🤠 nya:

one of the first games I played this year was Stray cuz i got it in an early sale, I had no real idea what to expect and I enjoyed every moment of it, really good aesthetics and design and an interesting post apocalypse style world you get to explore, you really end up caring about all the robot people and the cat and everything, also you get a meow button so its good 😺 more FPS game

I'd always seen this game just never picked it up, I think Severed Steel is one of my favourite FPS games ever now, the main story/campaign is only about 3 hours long, i beat it in one sitting and i think my face hurt when i was done because i was just grinning and laughing like an idiot the whole time because of how fun it was, there's also a bunch of extra modes to keep playing, the music is good and just everything about the game is fun which was my main takeaway from it, i didn't care that it was short I cared because of how much fun i had, highly recommend if you like sliding into guys, stealing their weapons and blasting them with it before they hit the ground, and with controllable bullet time if you want that too 👍👍 in a similar vein to the above, i guess the oldest game on this list is:

Outrun 2006: coast 2 coast, its the home port of Outrun 2, which includes Outrun 2 and a bunch of extra stuff, similar to Severed Steel this is just the most fun I've had with a racing/car game, it doesn't matter that i'm not super into Ferraris or that it's not realistic or whatever, it's just pure fun, and I don't have to spend a million dollars at the arcade to keep playing, so that's good woa you made it to the end!!!!!!! but wait!!! I played a lot of games this year, and even tho what I said about the previous ones was true, it was kinda hard for me to pick an actual game of the year, i did enjoy a lot of stuff but it didnt feel like anything stood out to me SO much that it deserved a "best game of the year" position for me, so the closest thing to that was:

Armored Core 6: Fires of Rubicon, hit a lot of plus points for me, I liked that I had to play the game 3 different times for different endings and a true end type thing, i did get frustrated early on but i kept coming back to play more, it def felt more of an action game than a mech game but customizing and messing with builds to get through fights was fun, tank legs thank u, it was also a similar situation to when elden ring came out, and everyone was playing it at the same time and sharing tips and builds and stuff which felt rly cool and nice and added to the whole experience, my only complaint is i wish it just had an option to start a second save file and do it all again, but oh well. and that's it! there's a bunch of stuff I didn't include in this, but i think this list is good enough for now, maybe next year this'll be a youtube video instead? I hope next years games are just as good, if not better, but even if they're not there's still a lot to play and explore 🐁🐁

Your characterization of Anna is exactly what i was hoping for tbh. She would never have Johan’s “no lives matter” approach because even at her kindest, when she was not the monster in the normal timeline, it was never about what people deserve with her. She doesn’t forgive Johan cause everyone deserves to live and be forgiven or whatever, her personal philosophy is never impersonal. She forgives him because he is her brother. Because she loves him and she’d forgive him again and again. A sweet sentiment and also so very “selfish”. Monster Anna would not be Johan’s impersonal, god-like, judging humanity as a whole kind of creature. She’d be a selfish and angry thing. Johan’s dishes out punishment detached but Anna would be so very attached that it’d be horrifying. She’s hunting you down like she’s the cat and you’re the mouse. Philosophy and morality mean little to her because she makes her own personal brand of justice and she is aware she has biases and she does not care in the slightest. Exactly as you said, she gets to choose now.

I imagine Johann’s self sacrificial nature would piss her off to no end cause, imagine her resenting her brother yet also caring about him and yet he’s so eager to sacrifice himself for everyone else. It doesn’t matter that he’d do it for her too. In her eyes she’s the only one he should be doing it for. The gall of him to not understand that his sole responsibility is to her. Yet again him being concerned with humanity as a whole (while still obvi she is the center of his pathology and the catalyst of his behavior) and her being concerned with the humans in her little world. They’re foils to each other especially in the scale of what and who they consider when referring to the world.

I think often about the worlds in kingdom hearts as living and conscious, though in a way that’s very different from a human you couldn’t talk to one like just from the difference in time perception alone -I’m getting to something specific here hold on- this is from my perspective of if you were existing in kingdom hearts rather than analysing it as a game I should clarify

In a lot of ways I kind of see the worlds kind of like the mind spaces in psychonauts, like they’re not full planets they each have their own laws of reality that have a kind of dream logic to them, like radiant garden could know of foods from a neighbouring town that they’d trade with and the roads lead where they would but the world just ends at a certain point there is no neighbouring town anymore or it’s a seperate world now. But trades still go and return and it’s not seen or acknowledged that there’s holes ? If that makes sense, I’m getting away from what I’m thinking about one second

This is actually about the world that never was and xion but I need to establish a different thought first

, 1 is that the worlds and the people who live on them are connected the same way peoples hearts connect, which is the background circle of a persons heart stations

ok point being, i could’ve missed something in canon here but this isn’t about that- I think of the fall of radiant garden being how xemnas got all the hearts to make his artificial kingdom hearts initially and then to finish he needed a keyblade to get more hearts, and that the fake kingdom hearts is the world that never was’ heart that’s animating the space rock they’re on, building skyscrapers etc, the world that never was is very young compared to other worlds

I don’t remember if the xion heart station is from anywhere else and probably shouldn’t be considered canon but I don’t care for this specific circumstance. THE frayknower asks….SORRY for the late answer and for the fact this is going to be uber convoluted head sauce. also to fray because it’s kind of gnarly for him and selfish on gourd’s part though there’s no way for it to not be. world’s most co-opted corpse of all time

OK to preface gourd spends all of the time from the Calamity to post-SB in a bizarre and extreme denial of the fact that the band of mercenaries that raised him (bar one, who vanished) all got blown up at cartenau. he essentially “convinces” himself they’re still alive and had just been delayed in their return, which is why he takes off run circles around eorzea. you don’t have to recieve bad news or be left alone waiting for your loved ones if you run first right—so he does and maintains this thought that he still has a place to belong, that he’ll eventually return to, and everything will return to the way it was. cue years of stagnating as a person, not wanting to find his own selfhood, and refusing to form any deeper and lasting bonds with other people because he didn’t want to change and shatter this illusion. he’s polite, distant, tells nobody anything, and lives life as (to himself) a passive observer who also thinks it’d be fine if he just died somewhere along the road and never Found Out. he also thinks he has an obligation to live, like his life doesn’t belong to himself but to the imagined person he was. BUT ALSO obviously it’s not like he can actually fully convince himself of the trick and all of this is really just a very thick muffler cased around a self that can’t help but be curious, to desire, to judge, to change and to be changed by others and to crave survival.

SO it’s heavensward and he finds a dead guy in the brume, our beautiful fray, and in my canon fray’s individuated soul still holds on to his body and crystal pretty much locked in the seconds before their death, so: REALLY juiced up on adrenaline, bleeding hatred, desperation, bitterness, and the animal terror of dying. it’s everything gourd doesn’t know how to feel but needs to feel and he pulls fray’s soul into his. in a near instant they converge and you get Repression Man fusing thoughts and emotions with Bleeding Man and gourd feels sooo alive at the moment fray is shocked breathless and confused in the impossible untethering from his self. he essentially steals the terror of fray’s death to feel alive.

and fray is perfect. fray is gut-wrenchingly attractive to him, to start, whatever that says about him. fray is angry at and for him for things he’d never think to be angry about. fray wants him to run and live in a way that only another person can want for another, and he knows it’s true every time. fray finds his existence unfair, just like he does. fray forgives him. fray desperately longs to return to those they loved; they are waiting for him. fray already knows everything about him. and fray is unattainable. he is dead. but he is a whole other person and he can desire them as much as he wants without breaking the spell, because (in his mind) for everything he feels and wants, it has nowhere to go in the world where it can be seen and made real.

BUT OF COUARARSEEE it’s not that simple because fray’s thoughts and memories and feelings slowly trickle and flood back in as the raw fear of death and seperation subsides. and fray also puts a lot of his problems on gourd; he has a very “it was hideous to die like that only to have someone like you, ridiculously strong and touched by gods, stroll in a bell later and do the impossible, when all my anguish and everyone I have ever known could not change a thing” view of the situation. fray lived their whole life really craving the power to save anything and change anything and only in death and bound to someone else’s soul does he get it. fray plays out the fantasy of being able to escape his lot through him. fray can’t understand his passivity, struggles to reconcile their experiences with the fondness gourd has for the world, and wants this (what he initally thought was) child of god to forgive him too for being afraid and wanting to live and wanting to run in those final moments. and of course neither of them can hide a single thing for each other.

so they coexist in this miasma of nine trillion contradictions and gourd, guilty and obsessed, thinking of himself as an interloper, comes to want to give his life to fray the more he knows about him. it’s like, perfect to him. he can exchange his ghost of a life for someone else’s vivid one, who actually really wants to live and has people to return to, and he can do it content, having been given the opportunity to experience feelings he honestly thought he never would though fray. besides, he stole him anyway. and of course fray is like wtf wrong with you man. but at the same time the 2guys1brain means he gets it, he has to. and also gourd knows it’s true that fray, when all the pain of his death fades, knows he doesn’t want that and and GOURD has to understand that too. it’s a really weird experience. guy intent on living in his own isolated one man suddenly does the unthinkable of sharing body mind heart and soul with someone else.

anyway it’s really fucked up for sid and rielle too because he lets fray take the wheel sometimes suddenly but hasn’t explained anything (he does to rielle later) & kind of leeches off communions with sid just to attain more pieces of fray’s life. like their face. he never removed the helmet, he doesn’t know what fray looks like and the body is way decomposed by no, so he used sid’s memory to reconstruct it while sid had no idea why this random dude appeared covered in fray dust and constantly brings hom up and apparently has his soul stone and apparition popping out sometimes. sorry for feeling human vicariously through the tulpa of your dead best friend

To begin- Yes, they exist in the same universe as reapers!

The textbook definition of a Seraph is “An angelic being of the highest order…” which is what I assume would be a true Seraph.

In this case, the ‘Seraph’s’ I’m referring to are not the typical angelic/holy types of seraphs. The reasoning behind why this race has been dubbed ‘Seraph’ is because when not residing in any true physical form, they look much like what someone would imagine an Angel to look like (Radiating light, having no defined shape or body, resembling something more like plasma rather than solid)- so thus in the earlier days of humanity when seraphs were occasionally seen, people began to give them the name Seraphs (believing they were angelic beings. Although, they also have the ability to resembles things only imaginable in nightmares- so just make sure you don’t make one mad)

Seraph’s come from a parallel plane of existence basically, something far outside the human senses. They live in a world where they are the only living species outside of plants (as their bodies don’t necessarily need much form of sustenance), and have formed complex societies with a similar aspect to most human societies; biggest power on top of the social pyramid. A goal in a seraphs life is to become more powerful (physically, magically, intellectually, etc.), with little to nothing in between. Seraphs are not family or love-oriented, nor do many of the them even have relationships in general. Because of this, many seraphs are extremely isolated and their personalities are typically cold and selfish— not being fond of interaction. This causes many Seraph’s tend to not intermingle with humans well, though a few select seraphs have adapted to recognizing human emotions within themselves after long-term exposed of human societies.

Moreover, Seraphs have a very…interesting relationship with humans. Seraphs look at humans in a similar way of how humans look at animals, basically as lesser beings that they can use if needed. That being said, some Seraphs keep [usually kidnap, if we’re being honest] humans and ‘keep’ them for a variety of things. [some being as innocent as having a familiar/companion, other reasons being…far more morbid]. Many of them, though, settle for choosing a few humans they’ve created a genuine emotional bond with and making them into their familiar- a person who emotionally and spiritually connected to a seraph.

Seraphs themselves are exceptionally powerful. And not only powerful, but incredibly intelligent as well. After analyzing the specific patterns and factors, Seraphs are often able mimic the powers and abilities of empowered people to a certain extent— as well as having abilities unique to themselves (Which will likely be its own seperate post)

“But Rae! What if a seraph has bad intentions! You wouldnt want them walking the human plane!”

This is true! So theres actually a system to combat this, as well as to protect/respect the empowered importance of covert. You see, theres a legislative ceiling on how much power a seraph can produce on a human plane. Their version of a high council constantly monitors seraph’s walking among the human plane- and how much of their power they produce. If they are detected to push over that ceiling, they’re immediately pulled back into their own plane and forced into their equivalent of court. Some go with minor punishments (Cannot revisit the human plane for “—“ human years) OR others far more major (Cannot revisit the human plane— permanently).

Rising Tide for Operator Samuel, Vor's Prize for Wukong, and Natah for Drifter Samuel!

Ok, so @grineerios and for anyone else reading, a small disclaimer: Drifter Samuel and Wukong don't really exist as seperate characters, as Wukong is not conscious at all, and Drifter Samuel doesn't yet exist as a character (though I have made some very early explorations). So ill answer the prompts for Operagor Samuel but using the questions for the other two:

Rising tide (What do they remember from the Old War?)-

I would say Samuel would remember quite a good deal from his time in the War, but most memories would probably be of his outlandish ways of dealing with the Sentients (like crushing a whole platoon of sentient troopers by dropping an unstable slab of Moon-rock right on top of them), though I do believe Samuel to be the type to have also had plenty of his signature 'pranks' along the way on his fellos and potentially even a few superiors (he doesn't take authority all that seriously)

Vor's prize (originally How did the Warframe feel about being connected to a Tenno? But I will go for the opposite, aka Samuel's first time piloting a frame)-

His powers being much stronger and ironically much easier to control I would say allowed Samuel to grasp Transference rather quickly. But the second he did it was like a whole new world of movement and freedom had opened up to him. He definitely spent the first few weeks just parkouring everywhere instead of walking because it was just that much more exilirating to be able to bullet jump and glide. Okay I'm here after reading all the hwa ffs in less than a month (talent ladies). So, I'm going to review it. Although, ik everyone already knows how perfect those ffs are but hey.

1. Bodygaurd

Accidentally tumbled upon this and I'm glad I did. I mean it's been so much time I've spent on Tumblr and then this shows like a miracle. So, OHMYGOD PARK SEONGHWA IN A SUIT AND GLASSES , READY TO SHOOT SOMEONE WHO COMES NEAR ME?!?! Perfect. The story was so well-planned and i like how even though y/n had grown up through so many hurdles she still was so cheerful and bubbly and not all emo and depressed. Ok i get if some fic writers do it in a few of their fic i get it, sometimes the mc has to have some issues BUT I'm tired of it. Really. I'm trying to escape this reality to somewhere where I can be someone i very much aspire to be and not to be depressed which I practically I am irl so ...yeah 😃. Oh and tears. I did tell u i cried and i was not joking.

2. Just friends

You knew ... you knew what you were doing when you wrote that and how much of an impact it would have on us. I can literally hear that one tiktok sound that goes "the hOe$ gonna love this..." AND I BET THATS WHAT WENT THROUGH YOUR HEAD. But let be real tho, this fic was everything. When the fashion world gets involved with love and Seonghwa?!?! Masterpiece. Shakespeare could never. Plus the clothes inspo?!? This was one of the fic i could actually visualise yk?

3. Rewrite the stars

These types of tropes are basically what I live for. Its like you know you have limited time, you can't fall in love, you mustn't but...oh well look at how the sun shines on his face as he gives his million dollar smile. I think it'd be fine to fall in love. Even if it's just for a few days. Maybe just for tonight.

But oh boy was i wrong. First of all the simplicity of the fic..and the classic trope but then you get to the plot and then boom! Its like i kind of have gotten used to the whole meet -> fall in love -> get heart broken -> finally together.

And honestly I'm glad I saw the fic after they'd already been written completely because lord knows what I would've done with the whole amount of curiosity after every part.

5. Mr and Mrs Park

Holy oompa loompas THIS!!! THIS IS WHAT WE CALL 'INSPIRATION'!! Ykw...i don't even have words. The last scene at the beach tho. Chills literal ✨chills✨. And the whole loop that starts from the 'A. You messed up' and it ended on the same line but obviously now it had a diff. Meaning. And ong I can never look at a person named 'nayoung' the same.

Idk how you do it but when I read your fic i actually transform into yn. I am the real yn when I'm so into reading those lines and talking to air that my family becomes concerned but do i care?...no. and that's what we need in a story! I really hated hwa here tho. HOW COULD YOU?? But hey, yn's got charms 😏

At first, i was so mad at hwa at the start of the fic i was like wth did I even do. Turns out....he just did it out of love 😭. So pure.

Dc just doesnt let Steph and Cass be seperate characters. Nearly all their appearances lately are together, just let them have some time apart! I didn't hate the Batgirls run but golly it didn't do them much service as characters that can stand on their own.

YEAH... it is frustrating as someone who loves both of them and does love them together to see them treated like they are exclusively this inseparable pair rather than two individuals who have a good dynamic when they're allowed to also be their own characters who exist separately too.

Cass being in Spirit World I think is a step in the right direction of 'having her doing her own thing separate from Steph' but yeah, it's been... frustrating the last year or so with Batgirls. it's like DC saw us say 'hey we miss Steph & Cass together' and instead of understanding 'we like them together but also individually, too, so there should be a balance' they took it as 'ok cool! now you will Only get them Attached At The Hip'

OC rant i made to my friends

There's so many grammar mistakes in this but i'm too lazy to fix so pls bear w/ me

if anyone actually reads this pls pressure me into acutally writing the lore

Bailey's original name was baisley, the original god of the worlds but her followers called her unique bc they didnt' know her actual name.

because she violated the heavenly law and broke the universe's balance, universe (very first existence) stripped her of her power and scattered it across the cosmos

of course, she descended as a god, but still retained her most important powers, which are associated w/ the stars. and she has no recollection of her past life

and of course, new gods were created in order to fill her role, aka the 3 balance gods were created, each holding diffeent types of balances, as well as a new god of the worlds that was supposed to hold her role. the new god compared to baisley, was soo much weaker than her.

baisley deceded onto the hybrid realm on earth, and as she fell she fell into a coma in order to preserve her strength. she was eventually found by 2 witch sisters, heather and elementa. she doesn't remember her past, but took on the name "bailey" as it was very similar to her original name and she felt familiar w/ it.

baisley came from the realm of the gods, but also had her own mini dimention to which she used as her living quaters/abode.

there were 6 gods who were made to replace baisley in terms of her duty, 3 of them were balance gods, one was made for her original role, and the other two created balance together (or was supposed to)

bc of baisley's descent and the creation of the new gods, specifically mayhem and harmony, mayhem is the embodiment of chaos and those 2 are like yin and yang which forever balance eachtoher and the world. BUT mayhem being basically chaos, breaks the heavenly law, and instead releases chaos onto the mortal realm/earth. ofc, harmony reports it to her higher ups, time and reality, and they also tell her to fix it. so she goes to heaven and calls upon angels as reinforcements and decend down to earth, which was just utter chaos and darkness. the fight goes on for a bit, and eventually they balance out. time and reality both punish them equally, for unbalancing the equilibrium and sends them to a fixed reincarnation cycle that will end when both has repayed for their crimes. however, the forces on earth still stay there, leading up to the events of the main oc story.

umbra, being the creation of mayhem, basically takes mayhem's place. and ofc, on harmony's side, there's several angles still on earth. ofc, they do eventually die and umbra gets sealed, but both sides tranfered their knowledge onto new generations to fight the war for them the first dark elemental, suvillain, was an apprintice of umbra and a general. during umbra's original reign, she also used her energy to creat jinx, an artifical being. the angels found about her plan and tried to purify it, which actually worked and made jinx into a pure hearted person, despite being a dark angel. so jinx naturally sacrifices herself for umbra, only to be discarded by her.

later umbra gets sealed by the secret hybrid society, which at this time the hybrids and humans are in seperate realms and this is a secret organization where they fight agaisnt ddark forces which lasts for a pretty damn long time. it's basically history at this point. the 2 witch sisters, heather and elementa, are part of the society, along with impius, who has yet to be promoted to being the demon king/king of hell. elementa is an alpha shapeshifter, which is a hybrid that's selected by gods to balance the world. this only happens when teh world is in grave danger and usually no 2 ASS (IT'S AN ABRIVATION OK) can live at the same time bc of the time gap between them.

umbra get sealed, and at this point, jinx already died but was sent in a reincarnation cycle for one life time and was chosen by Death as their apprintice. so jinx follows death adn eventually becoes the princess of the underworld. at this point, it's already a couple of generations into the elemental's, which were originally only the light and dark force during the war, but new elements popped up with time, and new brances appeared. such as nature, fire, water, being the original 3 other than dark and lgiht, then their derivatives, wind from nature, ice from water, and lava from fire.right now there are 11 generations of elementsals in the current main timeline

impius gets promoted into becoming the king of hell, which he accepts (this is very important, since in the future this will be very relavent)

actually gonna skip the timeline a bit. umbra gets "revived" again by accident, bc she has a cult that's in some sort of distorted dark realm to which klin (fandom oc who becomes the main character later on) takes an importatn item taht speeds up umbra's ressurection, since she's technically sealed but not dead, though wasin a coma like state where she can shift her conciousness.

jinx, impius, and ofc heather and elementa participates in the new battle, along with our main trio, olympia, karma, and krystal. the witch sisters send the main trio back in time for a bit to see if they are able to prevent umbra's past seal into undoing (gonna figure out the timeline issure later), but fails. ofc, umbra gets revived, jinx is tramatized, and deliah, who is a descended of a civilization/society umbra destoryed, sought out to kill her after waht she's done to her homeland. jinx has to make a decision btwn her mother creator and her advisor, her best friend. klin is suffering bc she gets shouldered w/ big responsibilities, and chooses to sacrifice a part of her soul with bloodlust, a blood angel who was exiled from heaven (this won't make sense w/out context but if yall want i can tell yall) in order to try and defeat umbra

i'd be surprised if anyone actually read all of this apsorewhaiolhdsa

CHAPTER PROLOGUE: THE WORLD IS FUCKED!

So, once upon a time, the universe existed. Hear me out here, okay? It. It exists.

There are worlds that are created from pre-existing worlds. Some people call them Simulated Worlds, Bubble Worlds, etc. It honestly just. Doesn't matter what you call them. Just know that these worlds are created as soon as someone creates them.

The initial creator of that world creates the "seed"--this seed has blueprints on the initial version of the world. Major characters, events, locations, et cedera.

From there, the seed grows overtime as it's introduced into the rules of reality. As the seed "sprouts", it grows into a beautiful tree, branching out to create differing worlds. The farther up the tree? The farther away from the original seed it becomes. And when it becomes different enough, that world disconnects from that tree and becomes it's own world seperated from this system.

Each world has two things it's born with. Some have dubbed this a God Program and the World System.

A God Program is basically what it sounds like. Each world needs to have a protector, a parental-like figure to watch over it. They're not allowed to intervene unless the World System allows it to.

Then there's the World System. The World System is like the child, growing and ever-changing, adapting and living it's own life under the protection of the God Program. However, it is vulnerable, and needs to be protected at all costs.

The two work together in tandem to keep the flow of that world safe. Everything there is left to develop on it's own.

Except, there's just... one thing that exists. Something that can disrupt that harmony.

It's said long ago, not long after the universe was created, a tragedy struck, and corruption spread across the world. A struggle for complete control over order and chaos. Thus was born a Seed of MAlice--a SOMA.

When a SOMA comes into contact with a God Program, it will corrupt it. There are only ever two outcomes: the God Program will seek to destroy the world entirely, or will attempt to "recreate" it into the perfect blueprint of the original "Seed" the world stemmed from

This phenomena was the same phenomena that struck one of the Genshin Worlds. The World of Stars and Asters.
