We are seeing Fall Out Boy soon, and I am trying very hard to not look at setlist fm or read through what songs are played for the IoH rotation, 8 ball, or piano medley because I don't want to know what I'm missing and just enjoy whatever I get.

Chapters: 1/1 Fandom: Critical Role (Web Series), Cinderbrush (Web Video) Rating: Teen And Up Audiences Warnings: No Archive Warnings Apply Relationships: Jamie Wrenly/Cameron Solomon/Aff Flowers/Sasha Murasaki Characters: Jamie Wrenly, Cameron Solomon, Aff Flowers, Sasha Murasaki, Samuel Flowers Additional Tags: Polyamory, Kissing, switching POVs, just general teenage fluff Summary:
Sometimes you defeat some evil cultists who killed the only friend you had, and then your life... just kinda goes on. But at least you get a relationship out of it.
It was Wednesday, Aff's favorite day of the week. Well, besides the weekend maybe, because that meant no school and no people to judge them and their friends for crimes they'd never committed (had even been proven innocent in court for, but apparently a lot of high schoolers didn't care what the court had to say). But Wednesdays were special.
Right after school, Aff would get to collect Cameron from his English class and drive them both back to Diamond's Liquor. Then they'd spend the afternoon working and, because Wednesday was usually the slowest day of the week and their Dad had allowed it, do their homework with Cam as long as there wasn't anything else to do.
So between sweeping the floors and restocking some shelves, the two would sit together behind the counter, doing their best to understand the math problem of the week or to get through a Spanish text neither of them actually knew all the vocabs for. But it helped a great deal with catching up (who knew court dates could force you to miss so many school days) and even Cameron's grades were slowly starting to get better again.
And in the evening, once the shop was locked up for the night, they'd wait for Sasha and Jamie to show up and have a proper date night. Or, as much of a proper date night that four more or less broke teenagers could have. Aff's Dad didn't didn't mind if they took some snacks and drinks from the store, as long as it was all in a reasonable range, and Jamie always brought the weirdest movies to watch.
Most nights, Aff would pile them all up in their truck afterwards and drive them home, but on rarer occasions the others got to stay the night, and that was even better. If they were all a bit tired the next morning because they'd stayed up all night talking, well... the teachers didn't pay a lot of attention to them anymore, so it was fine.
Today was such a sleepover day, and Aff had been looking forward to it since the agreement had been made in their group chat. Granted, Jamie still pretended to have better things to do at times, but they all knew they'd just show up twenty minutes late with a a small collection of DVDs and maybe some liquor, and claim that their plans had been cancelled last minute. So it was all good.
Either way, right now, Aff was still standing outside Cameron's English class, waiting for the teacher to finally end the lesson. They were anxiously tapping their foot on the floor and checking the time on their phone again, when the bell finally rang and the sound of chairs scrapping back and desks being closed erupted from inside, and the door finally opened to the first students pouring out.
Aff stood to the side, letting everyone pass. Cameron had some extra work he'd been meaning to turn in, so they knew he'd take a minute or two longer. But when he finally came out, the smile lighting up his face when seeing Aff definitely made the wait worth it.
“Hey there,” he greeted them, as if they weren't waiting in the same spot every Wednesday.
“Hey! Are you like, ready to head out? Did you get it all settled?” Aff asked, feeling himself immediately mirroring Cam's expression. That smile was infectious.
Cameron rubbed the back of his neck, almost self-consciously, and gave a half-hearted shrug. “Sure, I guess? I'm not sure if it's going to do much for my grade, but at least she let me try, you know?”
“Yeah, I mean, that's good,” they agreed, as they both started to walk towards the parking lot. “I'm sure it's gonna be really good though. Sasha helped you, right?”
“Yeah, I had no idea she was such an English nerd before,” Cam chuckled. “But anyway, enough about that. I don't want to talk about homework for, like, at least another hour.”
“Oh yeah, no, sure, that's cool,” Aff agreed quickly, and then fell quiet for a few minutes, before Cameron struck up a conversation about the football game the coming Friday, and whether or not they were all going to come see him play.
The conversation kept going for a while, jumping from one topic to the next until they actually made it home to the shop. Aff was still feeling giddy, jumping out the truck with a grin and quickly heading inside, knowing that Cameron would be right behind.
“Hey Dad, I'm home!” they called out, dropping their backpack behind the counter and instead picking up the apron they wore for work. A second later, Samuel came out of the storage room in the back, smiling as well as the saw them both.
He pulled Aff into a brief hug, one hand staying on their shoulder even as he pulled back again to greet Cam with a brief nod. “Good to see you two, how was school?” he asked. “Got a lot of homework?”
“Nah, it's fine,” Aff told him quickly. “We totally got the shop covered for the rest of the day, dad, don't worry. We'll be super fine, one hundred percent.”
“True,” Cam added, already pulling his math homework out of his backpack. “No worries Mr. Flowers, same procedure like every Wednesday.”
“I know, I know,” the man sighed, finally taking his own apron off, before focusing on Aff again. “You know I got this appointment in the city today, so I won't be back until later tonight. I worry, 's all.”
Aff faltered a bit at that. They hated how much that lie about the party, all those weeks ago, was still affecting their relationship. But with what had happened, they really couldn't blame their father. It was partly the reason they were taking so many shifts lately, not only as a way to make up for being a horrible child that night, but also for building trust again.
“No, that's fine, I get it,” they replied, with a little less intensity in their voice. “But we're gonna be okay, I swear. We'll just be here all afternoon, and then the others are gonna come by, and by the time you get back we'll all probably be asleep anyway. That's okay, right?”
Their dad was more gentle when he answered, patting Aff's shoulder with an affectionate look. “Of course, you kids have fun. I'll worry regardless, but that's just my job.”
“Sure thing, dad. Love you,” Aff muttered, watching as he went to get his jacket and finally made his way to the door.
“Love you too! Now, Cameron, you take care of he- I mean, them, you hear me?”
“You got it, Mr. Flowers. We'll take care of each other,” Cam called after the man, as he walked out with another smile and a wave. As soon as Samuel was gone, he turned back to Aff, gently nudging their shoulder. “Hey, you okay? You got kinda quiet there.”
“Hmm?” Aff jumped slightly at the contact, but seemed to refocus quickly enough. “Yeah, sure. Anyway, how about you start on math homework, and I will restock a bit before I join you.”
Cameron chuckled, knowing very well where this was going. “Nah, how about I help you first and then we start maths together, because there's no way I'm letting you copy.”
“But you're not even going to get paid for this.”
“I get to spend time with you, don't I.”
*
As expected, the shop stayed rather quiet that day. A few customers came in, but they all knew what they wanted and no one spend more than a few minutes in the shop (people didn't tend to stay and browse anymore, at least not when Aff was on shift. But at least they came at all. At least the middle schoolers hadn't thrown eggs at the store front in three weeks).
At point seven, with the store clean and stocked up and all their homework done, Aff locked up, and the two of them headed upstairs to the small apartment instead. Sometimes Sasha was early, and spend the last half an hour or so in the shop with them, but today they were still on their own, which gave them the privilege to choose snacks for the group.
“Okay, whatcha got?” Cameron asked, waiting for Aff to raid the kitchen cabinets.
“Uh, okay, so,” they started to mutter again, looking through some cupboards and shelves as they talked. “We got, like, two bags of doritos, and there's probably some salsa in the fridge from last week... I also know that my dad bought like a bunch of frozen pizzas because they were on sale, so we got those.”
Cam grimaced a bit, but made sure Aff couldn't see his reaction. Sometimes he really wished they could do this at his house instead. He wasn't actually complaining, just being here with the others was the most important thing anyway, but it could have been even better if his parents didn't suck as much. Or Sasha's, for that matter.
He didn't know too much about Jamie's parents. They seemed to have a good enough relationship with their mom, but still didn't like bringing people over when she was home. So they always ended up at Aff's place, which was small and a little bit crammed, and there were still some boxes they and their father had never bothered to unpack, but it was homely. A save haven, really, especially since he and Sasha tried to spend as little time with their parents as they possibly could anyway.
So instead of wishing for something that wouldn't come true anyway, Cam took the doritos that Aff was holding out, picked up some drinks, and dutifully carried it all into the living room. Just as he was setting stuff down again he heard the doorbell ring, Aff sliding down the corridor and hurrying down the stairs again a second later... and then downstairs, he could make out Sasha's and Jamie's voice after the door opened. Instead of running down as well he waited upstairs though, claiming the best spot on the couch while he still could.
Sasha was the first to join him again, rolling her eyes at first when she saw him spread out in front of the TV already. “Should have known I would find you like this,” she muttered, but walked over to kiss him anyway when he opened his arms for her with a smile. Cam didn't even try to reply anything, seeing as he was quickly getting lost in their little make out session. His hand was just starting to wander up her shirt when he heard someone clear their throat behind them though, and only then did he break apart from her again and turned his head with a sheepish grin. “What?”
“How rude of you to start without us,” Jamie told him, managing to hold the disgruntled facade for all of three seconds before simply coming to join them on the sofa. They both got an uncharacteristically chaste kiss before the witch started to unpack the bag they had with them, placing a few different movies on the coffee table in front of them.
“So what's it gonna be today? I got the original Texas Chain Saw Massacre, Lesbian Vampire Killers, or the first Final Destination movie.”
Aff came back just as Jamie was listing their choices, and wrapped their arms around them from behind before getting a better look at the covers. To all of their endless delight, Aff was a total noob when it came to movies, and even the classics were able to draw entirely new reactions out of them.
But before Cam could suggest Final Destination, Sasha made a disapproving noise, a slight scowl on her face. “I don't know about you, but I'm not in the mood to watch teenagers die due to paranormal circumstances. I think I've had enough of that for the next few years.”
“That's fair,” Jamie admitted, looking down again as well. “It's all I brought with me, though.”
“We could log into my parent's Netflix, I'm pretty sure they're both busy tonight,” Cam offered, pulling Sasha a bit closer as he did so. She leaned into him easily, and he slowly felt her body relax again.
“Yeah, Netflix sounds good,” Aff agreed, climbing over the back of the couch now to worm his way between Jamie and Cam. It worked somehow, despite how freakishly tall they were getting, but after about a minute of shifting around and some complaining here and there, they found a position that was comfortable for all of them. “Are you sure your parents won't notice? You know, it would suck if you'd get in trouble again, so, only do it if you're like absolutely sure.”
“Yeah, sure, it's gonna be fine,” Cam assured them, sounding maybe a little bit more confident than he really felt. But his father was supposed to work late, and his mom had told him she'd be out with friends herself, so he just hoped none of them would change their plans last minute.
Everyone else seemed convinced, so within a few minutes they had Aff's old ass laptop up and running, and connected to the TV. After that it only took a minimal amount of more bickering before they finally settled on a movie, a mindless horror comedy that they could make fun of along the way. It was exactly what all of them needed at the moment.
*
Aff ended up being right, too.
When Samuel came home eventually, close to one am, he found all four of them fast asleep in the living room. Still in their day clothes, all of their accessories, hats, and glasses carelessly piled on the coffee table, along with some empty dorito bags and soda cans. And the situation on the couch wasn't any better, it was hard to tell where one body ended and another begun.
Deciding that he would leave them to regret those sleeping positions in the morning, the man just did his best to cover everyone with a blanket and then headed to bed himself. If there was anything he was thankful for, in these last few trying months, it was the three strange children currently sleeping in his apartment, and whatever it was that Aff saw in them.
They were happy, after all, and that was all that mattered.

REINCARNATION
fandom: Ikemen Sengokucharacter: Ieyasu Tokugawa
Prologue / ??
Ieyasu Tokugawa never knows when it will happen.
He had been standing by the sink debating with Masamune about the practicality of growing their own garden on the roofdeck of their building. Masamune had reasoned for fresh produce for spells and cooking. Ieyasu had countered that it was exactly a chore none of them needed, what with the restaurant already enough work for three pairs of hands. When all of a sudden the morning light was too bright for Ieyasu’s eyes, the air too hot for his lungs to take.
He felt his knees buckle under him as he tried to stay upright; one hand gripping the ledge of the sink, the other gripping (extra tightly) the plate, and precariously placing it down so it would not shatter and cause more problems like his brain was causing problems like how he couldn’t hold it all together and Masamune was looking at him funny and he needed he needed –
I will find you!
“Ieyasu…?” Masamune sounded like he was ten feet away.
“I just need… a moment.”
Washing heavy futons and bringing them out to the veranda to dry. A wide backyard filled with nothing but clothing lines and kimonos swaying in the wind. A hat. A balloon. A blade. A burning plane crashing towards them.
Breathe.
Laughter and guffaws as people raced through abandoned castles. Fireworks by the lake. A huge birthday party like none of them had ever seen. A needle thrust into his arm. Fifteen needles. Screams.
Breathe.
I will find you I will find you I will find you.
Breathe.
First through his teeth. Then through his nose. Ieyasu may not know when his episodes will happen but he knew what he needed to do when they did: keep breathing, keep breathing. Take in gulps of air as the pain that gripped him ever so slowly began to let go.
All of a sudden, he felt weightless and realized that Masamune was carrying him, saying some gibberish Ieyasu could neither hear nor understand. He tried to make him stop, tried to tell the idiot that he was just fine, he did not need any special treatment, that this – him falling to the floor with no apparent cause or reason – was just his usual.
Ieyasu was just remembering a bit of his past lives, after all.
+
The first time he had experienced it, Ieyasu thought he had gone mad.
It had been lifetimes past, during a minor scuffle; adolescent teasing turned into a semi-serious contest of who could knock the other one out faster before the adults could intervene. He could remember the half-circle that formed around him. The jeers. The taunting. His own labored breathing and the way his nose was dribbling blood.
The way the other child spat at him and made indecent gestures towards where he should place his head and for how long. He had taken it all in stride. But the other child had spat again, this time on the names of his friends who lost and were nursing their bruises behind the line. That had not gone down so well.
Ieyasu, even when he had temporarily forgotten himself, always did have a particular kind of temper.
He had shouted something equally indecent, taking two thunderous steps to approach his opponent close enough for a punch. But just as he was about to connect his vision blurred.
The kid before him was no longer just a kid but had somehow grown into an adult. No, two adults. Three. A dozen. A hundred. A mass of bodies before him suddenly, impossibly so. And he was no longer just a child but a grown man. And he was no longer just holding out his fists but a sword that he gripped like it was his lifeline and which he swung and twirled and used like an extension of his arm.
The soldiers before him swarmed him but he fended them off, his body moving almost on its own, his steps measured and exacting to keep him upright. For how long he was fighting, he did not know, could not tell. Only that he needed to ward them off, only that he needed to buy time until –
“Ieyasu! Here!!”
Who?
“I’m coming!!”
A hand grabbing his shoulder and pulling him backwards tore him from his vision; one moment he was valiantly defending his keep, the next he was being shoved down on the ground, the screams of dying men fading to give way to the delighted screams of children having seen their first real fight.
“Get a grip, Ieyasu!” someone shouted at someone else but the slap was all his and his cheek burned for it; for a moment, he felt the same warm sensation in his chest rising up, felt the hilt of a katana in his hands where there was nothing but air and –
Another slap. Harder this time, and his vision focused on his playmate – no, a man now – holding him. A very familiar face with raven hair and red eyes. A friend. A comrade. An almost brother.
Not a soldier trying to betray him. Not a spy sneaking into his chambers and trying to kill him.
“Kotaro!” the man shouted at him, and the children around them were fleeing now and some were crying. What was he thinking making a scene surrounded by children? “No, Ieyasu!”
The name felt like a hard blow to his chest, pushing him down. Ieyasu’s vision blurred again. And he had gripped the arm holding him as memories he had never experienced flooded into his mind – memories no fifteen year old boy should have any right remembering.
Too much scenarios. Too much experience. Too much life. He writhed in agony and the hand on his shoulder both kept him down and held him up as he struggled.
It was as if someone had flipped a switch. One moment he was a boy, ignorant and innocent and powerless, wanting to prove his own worth against a world that spat on commoners, and then the next moment he was a conqueror, a ruler of clans. And he knew things; he remembered things so different and stark against his own – truer? more recent? – memories.
He felt his jaw hurt. He felt his arms and legs hurt. He felt like his entire body was being crushed under the weight and the gaze of something judging him from heavens and something else scratching the back of his skull. And all of these caused by the two differing visions he could see at the same time.
Two sets of memories that seemed to blend and mix together. Two sets of memories that fought inside his brain to be recognized as reality. Two sets of memories that hurt. Two sets of memories that made him feel hurt.
“Stay awake.” The friend he could not yet quite remember urged him. “Stay with me. It’ll pass. I’ve seen you do this before.”
Ieyasu struggled and could only barely bite down on his agony, hoping through tears that the man was right. And as he screamed through phantom pain, as he shouted and struggled and tried his damndest to make sense of things as quickly as a fifteen year old boy could, an unsettling and frightening sense of certainty slowly overcame him and told him that the set of polar opposite memories both undeniably belonged to him.
+
Ieyasu does not know if he will ever stop having these visions.
But to be honest, vision was not the proper term. It was more a recollection, a remembering of things gone by.  But if he was already being exacting, it was also not just a simple matter of recollecting either.
It was more a sensation in his skull that his brain was somehow (impossibly and impractically) shifting to accommodate unearthed memories. And more often than not, it was as if his entire body was remembering what it had gone through all at once at the same time.
Pain. Joy. Sickness. Lethargy. Uneasiness. Nausea. Fear. Elation. All his wounds and all his triumphs. All his births and all his deaths. Dreams, and nightmares. A gallimaufry of emotions and sensations. He felt them all, felt himself drowning in them; the moments in which he lost his grip on reality stretching into hours and days as he re-lived whatever it was the he had somehow remembered.
No one had any explanation as to why his body decided to remember everything else that came with his memories. Timeshifters were rare but his case even rarer. It was probably his own little curse. Or an equivalent price. A way to balance his talent.
Ieyasu did not want to look too closely for fear of what might look back. Some people might find the idea of not forgetting things to be of comfort. Ieyasu knows for certain those people have never really experienced what it was like to remember it all.
By the time he regained consciousness, Ieyasu was already on his bed. The room was quiet and dark. A cooling pack was on his forehead, his body weighed comfortably down by a thick blanket, and all his closest friends in the room, asleep and keeping vigil.
No, not all.
One was still missing. The one dearest to him. The one he would never stop looking for.
I will find you! I will find you!
We will meet again!
It was a bitter memory amongst sweet ones, a parting too abrupt. Like a cloth cut haphazardly into a thousand torn seams. Ieyasu knew as long as they were not complete, nothing would ever be the same. Not just their ultimate aim, which was altruistic, but also their everyday life, which was closer. More his.
How long has it been since he had seen her? How long since he had been able to trace the stars on her back? How many lifetimes had passed since she had last held him in her arms as he bewailed the inescapable fact that his fate had no clear end?
Too many to count. Too many to really forget.
And as he sank back down into sleep’s embrace, Ieyasu misses her all the more. He wonders to himself yet again where she could be now, and if they could find her soon. And with his last wisps of consciousness, he wishes not for the last time, that she was there with him, in the dark, with their friends, to help blunt all the pain.

Dragon Quest XI S: Echoes of an Elusive Age Definitive Edition
PS4 version, played on PS5
Dragon Quest 11 is one of the best games I have ever played and quite possibly ever will play. As I set my controller down on my last session I felt a sense of melancholy and accomplishment I rarely feel after playing a video game. I had devoted multiple of my days after my job to the game almost solely and I never once felt like I wanted to stop playing, even when I was done completely. From the moment you turn on the game it lets you know that this will be a special experience, with an absolutely gorgeous introduction cinematic that gives a near perfect view on what the game will be like when you get into it. You get glimpses of the hero going off on your journey, your future companions and little bits of their personalities shown off, the big adventure and the small personal moments. The best part though is the demonstration of how that your friends you make throughout the game will have your back no matter what. The bond of friendship you gain with your party is to me the most important part of the game’s themes and story as a whole.
Before I move forward anymore, I would like to leave a disclaimer. I am relatively new to the JRPG genre. When I was younger I thought I hated JRPGs and that I was too impatient to them. I, of course, like most people who play video games at my age (22 at the time of this writing) and probably people younger and older but I know especially my age, grew up playing Pokemon. Pokemon is a JRPG. I don’t know why I thought I hated JRPGs. I think I had never actually put the effort into playing a JRPG that wasn’t Pokemon and then played like Final Fantasy 1 for an hour and got lost and decided I didn’t like JRPGs. I don’t know why I did that. I have, since, decided that JRPGs are possibly my favorite genre at this point. It started with Final Fantasy VII, and I will write about that at some point in the future. I just felt like this context was important for the rest of the essay.
Dragon Quest 11 starts, as many games do, with you as your first member of your party. In Dragon Quest 11 though, you are the only member of your party at the beginning, whereas with most JRPGs I have played, you get at least one friend at the beginning. The gameplay while you’re alone is still pretty fun! The enemies are weak and the dynamics are set up so that you can dispatch them relatively easily while learning the mechanics of the game. I bring this up because, as early as you meeting your first companion, Erik, you quickly learn the value of having your friends with you. With another person joining your adventure combat quickly becomes more interesting and dynamic, and the game slowly keeps giving you new abilities and party members, so that by the time you have enough party members to have a 4 person party, you are accustomed to understanding how your different abilities interact to make you get through in the most fun way possible. The mechanical advancements are reflected in the characters outside of combat too. You get to learn about your friends’s prior relationships, watch them become friends with you, and also become friends with your other friends and it’s very exciting. By the end of the game I had felt like they were my actual friends in real life. (I’m not sure if that says anything about me.)
Here is my quick off the top of my head ranking of my favorite of the friends you make: #7 The hidden character #6 Jade #5 Rab #4 Serena #3 Veronica # 2 Sylvando #1 Erik. This was actually a very difficult thing to rank because I actually absolutely love every one of them and in another game every single one of them could be my favorite character in a game.
As you progress through the story every single one of your friends is allowed to develop and have multiple events dedicated to them, instead of just relegating their development to just when you meet them, which can happen in other games. You learn a lot about them and they endear yourself to them very organically. I guarantee that even if you don’t like a party member when you meet them, you will love them by the end of the game, they’re that good.
I have heard that in Japan, Dragon Quest games are kind of treated like bedtime stories for a lot of people, where they will play it for a little while before bed, just like you would read a book to prepare for bed, and I believe it! The story plays out like a classic adventure story in a lot of archetypical ways, but is presented with an extreme amount of charm and with twists on classic formulas. Dragon Quest 11 is a celebration of the entire series and by being this they know exactly how to do a very classic story and make it still very unique and inspired, Yuji Hori, is from what I understand, a genius when it comes to this stuff.
Akira Toriyama’s art and designs for this game is incredible. Akira Toriyama is one of my biggest inspirations artistically and Dragon Ball is possibly the 2nd most important piece of media for influencing my interests. So when I see Akira Toriyama’s designs for everything in this game it excites me. The most interesting thing about it to me though is that his Dragon Ball and Dragon Quest are distinctly different, while keeping his trademarks there so you know it is him, no matter where you look. The monsters are masterfully designed. Nothing else looks like the monsters in Dragon Quest (besides the more dinosaur-like dragons, those do look like Dragon Ball dinosaurs). I love Akira Toriyama and his art is admittedly a very large attracting factor to the franchise.
Dragon Quest 11 has gambling. I love gambling in video games. I spent at least 5 of my 120 hours in the game gambling. I want to put a casino into my video game. The casino in Dragon Quest 11 has a slot machine called Slime Quest, where you have the ability to look at the rates for how many bonuses the machine gets per how many spins it takes, and also has an auto spin mode, which is genius game design. I love the casino, I have gone on literally 2 hours long hot streaks on Slime Quest.
The game’s story is grand and exciting, the world is beautiful and every area feels distinct and fun to explore. It’s a really great time, and after you’ve done it all, there’s still plenty to do. There’s plenty of side quests, little collectibles to find, and, my favorite, getting new gear. I love creating a list of material I need to find to get some of the best gear in video games, and Dragon Quest 11 makes it extra fun. You can buy most materials straight from your crafting interface, while rarer materials must be acquired from treasure chests and from enemies. It creates a great balance between grinding and not having to work all that hard. Which is very lucky because all of the best gear is gained through crafting, so putting in the work necessary to consistently improve your team isn’t gonna cause any unnecessary stress or confusion.
I would describe most everything about this game as my platonic ideal of a JRPG, except for one major exception. Koichi Sugiyama done did write a repetitive OST. I wouldn’t even necessarily call it a bad OST as there are tracks that I really do enjoy, namely the overture during the intro cinematic, the act 3 overworld theme, and the city theme, however you will hear most every song in the game on constant loop for the entire game in just about every area of the game. I’m not really sure what happened there but it does unfortunately drag the experience down a little bit, but definitely not enough to ruin the game.
Dragon Quest 11 was my first Dragon Quest game and it most certainly won’t be my last. I was obsessed with it the whole way through. When I took a break about 40 hours in so that I could play Nier Replicant ver. 1.22474487139… I felt bad about putting the game down, and when I picked it back up I never stopped until I was done. I want as many people to play the game as possible. It’s truly special. It made me cry at one particular point and most games don’t do that.
