#helluva boss#helluva boss stolas#helluva boss octavia#helluva boss stella#it really puts into perspective how octavia was a seemingly very happy child up into her mid-teens#like to me it speaks of how well stolas kept up the charade of the happy working marriage all that time#i imagine all that came crashing down right after blitz popped back in into his life#like imagine it from Octavia's pov: you have a normal life. your parents get along fine (at least in front of you)#your dad clearly likes spending time with you more than your mom does but that's okay. maybe she's too busy. your dad makes up for it though#then suddenly one day out of nowhere they start fighting like it's the end of the world#next thing you know they're getting divorced#like the song goes‚ her world is burning down around her#suddenly everything she thought she knew turned out to be a lie#and the catalyst for this neck-breaking change seems to be that imp her dad clearly likes way too much#it's no wonder she immediately believes her entire life has been a huge lie; as far as she knows everything was just a show#including Stolas' love for her

#my art#cotl#cotl lamb#cotl narinder#narilamb#in my first full playthrough i was annoyed at the final boss fight still but also was collecting all the follower forms#so i indoctrinated nari but when i saw the 'immortal' trait i went BET#and immediately sacrificed him#and then brought him back the next day because actually tactically having an unaging cult follower could be really useful#and gave him the moon necklace as a HAHA FUCK YOU. now you have to spend your eternal sleepless life worshipping me#also i made him a really agressive magenta colour just to fuck with him#(and then later realized this made him look like animal crossing bob)#and THEN i stopped and went. wait. if hes a follower now. can i marry him?#and then i got the other bishop followers and made them theur own little house complex#and then got really sad narinder couldnt use his because moon necklace#so i murdered him#and looted his corpse#and then i gave him the red crown necklace. also as a little fuck you.#and then by this point the brainworms had fully sunk in and i was like 🥺 nari should get to travel and see the world#and then he died on a mission so i looted his corpse again and THEN i gave him the missionary necklace#my first full playthrough was ...... chaotic

#persona 3#persona 3 spoilers#aigis#minato arisato#makoto yuki#nyx avatar#lizzy does art#a belated january 31st from me to you! i technically started this at the start of january but got a lil sidetracked teehee! but its done no#i am forever enamored with the fight with nyx avatar- not only is she gorgeous but the boss fight's design really sells the themes of p3 im#i still love how much the major arcana are intertwined with p3's story- from the full moon operations and the final fight#and the lengthiness of the fight. i personally don't consider it tedious bc i came Very Prepared (its the love for grinding in tartarus!)-#but i think that the length has always been a testament to the indomitable force that nyx and nyx avatar are- something that should be-#impossible to go against! yet sees continues to show their perseverance in the endeavor because that's the choice they ultimately made.#i hope to get the chance to draw nyx avatar again sometime! she is absolutely lovely to draw. i had a lot of fun working on this :D#and i also hope everyone has been enjoying the remake <3 i've been enjoying it a lot but i won't be elaborating here. take care!

#kingdom hearts 2#kh2#shadow stalker#dark thorn#heartless#my gif#this boss fight is so cool for so many reasons#it's highly memorable to me because of how it takes full advantage of the location and possesses the entire ballroom#the ballroom is such an iconic disney location so it's really cool to watch it transform into something alive and nightmarish#also how the shadow stalker cocoons itself and emerges as a monstrous form that resembles the beast himself#the shackles representing how he's confined to his castle#the vines and thorns that wrap around its whole body depict his unhealthy obsession with the rose#it even has the ability to turn invisible which could relate to his isolation and how he doesn't even exist to anyone outside the castle#this form is definitely representative of what he could be if he succumbed to his loneliness depression and anger#good designs. good fight. and very cool reaction commands

I finished wild arms yesterday! what a great game
#wild arms#wild arms 1#cecilia adlehyde#jack van burace#rudy roughnight#earth golem#art tag#i really really loved this one im so glad i finished it#its really fun and not overly long for a jrpg (about 30 hours)#also gets my seal of approval in that despite what all promotional material would have you believe cecilia is the main character#like its not even a question she just is. compounded by the fact that if you want to you can play as her the whole time#my biggest criticism would prob be that by the end of the game the party feels kind of unbalanced especially in boss fights#cecilia can do so much shit and the boys basically just do different kinds of big damage lol#cecilia can also do big damage but shes too busy healing and buffing and debuffing and all that#its not all that hard though so its not a huge deal just kind of funny#anyway i definitely want to play the rest of the series at some point. apparently theres an anime too?? exciting
