i think sonic should die in a supernova to save the world, in the process become the universe itself, then rewind time and be the force that led sonic to west side island to meet tails. the story becomes a closed loop, ending in a tragedy preceding the beginning

#I <3 TIME LOOPS #sonic 2 being the start of the loop is cause it’s easiest to slot in #and i think it’d be neat if sonic chose to meet tails again and again and again #and i don’t want it ever truly revealed how sonic and eggman met or why they started fighting #but it does rlly matter what specific thing. i just want sonic to be the thing that set up the dominoes that lead to his death 👍#*doesn’t #rambles #i read a couple unorthodox time loop things and i’m feeling emo about it can u tell #and the murder got me thinking about sonic dying and the hypothetical end of sonic as a series #and whether those two things are the same #and i was thinking abt how much i don’t want a happily ever after #i want the end to be a question never answered. i want it to be a spectacle. i want the story to go on even as it’s not observed #i want the end to be the beginning #god i love timeloops I LOVE TIMELOOPS
