This a moderate to low activity blog and most things will run on a queue. I am an incredibly slow writer, so please have patience. I work a full time job and a part time job & writing takes a lot out of me. At the end of the day; this is just a hobby.

I don’t put up with excessive negative posting, vague posting, character bashing, call out posts and drama of the sorts. It’s roleplay, it’s supposed to be fun. This is going to be a hard and fast rule for this blog. If I even see anything even tagged as drama or could easily be identified as vauging, I will not hesitate to unfollow.

Your DNI is your responsibility not mine. I cannot keep up with who has beef with who on this website or the stipulations or exceptions around people's DNI lists. If you see me interacting with someone that you don't want to see on the dash, its your responsibility to unfollow me instead of me guessing what's going on. If you are someone new that I'm thinking about following, I will take your DNI at face value and won't follow back/initiate contact in the first place if I follow people on your DNI.

Firstly, this is a highly selective & mutuals only blog, I tend to get overwhelmed if I roleplay with too many people.

This blog is AU and crossover friendly. I actually prefer to write with characters that are outside of the BNHA fandom or even characters that I am completely unfamiliar with. Lately, I have been trying to steer away from the BNHA fandom in general.

I’m OC friendly as long as I have some sort of background for your character or an about page I can read.

It might take time for me to follow your blog back. I like to be thorough when reading other’s bios and more importantly, rules.

If you no longer want to follow me/interact, I insist that you hard block me and save both of us time.

If I see that you have been inactive for some time, I will likely unfollow your blog however, I will not hard block you. If you ever come back to RP-ing, I'd love for you to write with me again.

INTERACTING 

Shota’s characterization is a blend between the anime and the manga.

We shouldn’t have to talk about this but here we are, godmodding & metagaming isn’t permitted. With this in mind that doesn’t mean that Eraser is granted immunity from his actions. For example; If he chooses to provoke your muse and your muse reacts negatively, Shota will have to deal with those consequences, violent or otherwise.

Considering the nature of Shota’s power is kind of OP, in general I’m going to allow whoever I play with to use their digression as to whether his quirk is effective or not. I also won’t mind discussing this with partners preemptively, in fact I think in some instances I may prefer it. His abilities do have their limits and you can find more about the nature of his quirk here.

I am big on story-building and while I do enjoy winging threads, I also would like to know a general direction that we are going in.

I primarily view asks as 'prompt' work. I’m typically okay with having memes being turned into threads. However, if I don't see it going anywhere as far as an over-arching plot goes/not being able to work it into some sort of storyline, or think that the thread has run it's course; I may drop the thread/not respond. If you want to continue something that I have dropped; just talk to me about it.

I am very big on communication and I think it can really make or break a roleplay experience. I’m far from perfect and if something doesn’t make sense to you in our thread, let me know. If you want to drop a thread? Shoot me a message. If I've accidentally broken one of your rules, please remind me. Hell, if you want to send me a headcanon/random thought at 3am on discord? Go for it.

I do play Shota as a homosexual, however I’m a little flexible with this if Shota and your character have some sort of chemistry. (More about this can be found here.)

On the topic of relationships, I generally don’t roleplay smut and prefer to imply what happened or fade to black, I don’t mind writing ‘the-morning-after’ threads.  I may respond to some dash games with USFW content or drabbles/metas. I might even do them in ask memes/send some asks, but don't expect it to go anywhere. This rule may change once I feel comfortable here again.

I will not be shipping Aizawa with any minors, especially his students. This also applies to students who are ‘aged up’. If you even try to approach me about this you will be blocked.

With that note, some of the ships I like to write are; EraserMight, EraserCloud, EraserMic, EraserKing, EraserOC but I am fairly open-minded about this.

As promised, there are a few pre-holiday things that I wanted to discuss with you guys this week, just so you know what is expected activity-wise through the end of the year, and some little things about keeping things festive, fresh and fun around here.

As this post might be a little bit lengthy, I am going to pop it under a cut, but please take a few minutes to read through things! xx

Firstly, although I don't have the exact dates in mind, this is a warning that we will have two more activity checks before the end of the year. One will be at the end of November / beginning of December, and one will be at the mid-month point before the holidays. The next check will be a full sweep: meaning we will look for inactive accounts, those not meeting three replies, and those who are not replying to three writers per character, nor replying to new open starters.

The mid-December check will likely just be checking for straight-up activity (inactive for two weeks: removal, inactive for one week: warning). We will not be doing a check at the end of December, but will instead be doing an interest check after the new year to allow you to make changes you need, drop characters you don't want, etc. This means that we will be toughening up and clean slating activity in the middle of January, once everyone is where they need to be. Those first couple of weeks of January should be used to do what you need to do to be meeting our rules and get back on track.

Please remember that we do not offer semi-hiatuses! It's the holidays, it's okay if you're not active every day; as long as you are able to do three replies within a two week period at any point, you are not going to lose your role, even if you might get a reminder/warning on check. We promise. If you need a hiatus, we do grant those for up to two weeks. If you speak to us personally and privately (meaning not a public OOC post, talk tags, etc.) about activity issues, we will be lenient and understanding as long as you are trying. That's all that we ask of anyone during busy times, is just that a little effort is made to be here, follow the rules, and have fun!

Not to be a meanie, but if you decide that this group is not for you, whether it just not be the perfect fit, or you simply do not have the time, please ask us for an unfollow. We absolutely never hold it against anyone! But this allows us to remain lenient while opening spots for new writers. You are always welcome to return!

As for my role as admin: I plan on maintaining rolling, daily acceptances during the holidays, and am hoping to be on daily to help with what you need. Alright, past that! Let's talk a little bit about holidays in Merrock, in terms of our favorite Merrockites! As you may have noticed, we have lots of holiday fun coming up -- I recommend bookmarking our holiday guide post to keep track of everything and make it easy to plot with others around town! There should be something for everyone to do -- even those who don't celebrate specific holidays -- but we are also open to editing the post for other business owners or people who would like to offer things around town! Or even if you have ideas / suggestions. Just let us know.

We've had people ask in the past about holiday gift giving, and yes, we do allow that here! But we ask you to be considerate of dash spam. For example, if you want to give gifts to 10 friends, tag them all in one post, versus rapid fire posting 10 posts at once on dash. (It's okay to separate out a husband, a best friend, a sibling, etc.) I also want to make it clear: gifts are not mandatory. You're also welcome to post a tray of cookies and tag friends, or give out little ornaments, or just not do anything at all. We also don't want people to put so much priority into gifts that they're not active. We promise that no one will be offended if you don't have huge, elaborate gifts, or choose to focus on activity.

December and January are pretty 'in the books' for me as an admin; all of the events are drafted, announcements have been posted, birthdays and mini events are queued, so I will be taking care of site maintenance and mostly enjoying the holidays with you guys and doing my best to keep things active. I've put a lot of work into the holiday season, so please: take advantage! Post lots of open starters, reach out to those you don't normally plot with, spread love and warmth during this holiday season. xx

Combat between muses is going to come up often on this blog given the muse and source material. If a thread starts to go in that direction, I require that we plot out the fight before proceeding, so that we can work together to write a scene that both goes the way we need it to for plot reasons, AND goes the way we want it to for fun reasons. The only exception to this is people I’ve written with for long enough that I feel we will not accidentally step on each other’s toes during a fight.

Disclaimers:

I do not and will never ship Tim with Bruce, Dick, Jason, Cass, Duke, or Damian. If you write batcest, I don’t care, but I will not follow you. If you follow me, I’m likely to soft or hard block. The only exception to this is multimuse blogs who have muses I want Tim to interact with, or blogs that have a clear line of separation between batcest and batfamily interactions. I will be HIGHLY selective about this, though.

If you do not make it clear on your blog that you ship batcest, and then we become mutuals, and I see you suddenly start writing batcest, I will softblock you. It is not personal; I just don’t want to read that stuff on my own personal dash. I just ask for honesty. Please don’t trick me into following you; tumblr rp follower counts are not that important.

For full transparency: I do think the pro/anti debate is stupid. Those words are thrown around willy-nilly to vilify people or virtue signal, and I will not entertain that discourse on this blog. In my humble opinion, anyone can write whatever they want in fandom spaces, and I just would hope that tags are used appropriately, so that people can curate what they read or view. I personally could not care less what another writer ships; if there’s stuff I don’t wanna see, I’ll just not look for it, and I won’t follow people who write it. Simple as that.

You’ll see it in my bio too, but I want to address it here as well: I actively dislike fanon, and it will have no place in my writing of Tim. I don’t care if your muse draws from fanon—you do you—but don’t be shocked if my Tim acts surprised or confused by fanon assumptions of him (ex: if your muse brings Tim coffee to drink, he will be very confused as to why that was the choice. Tim Drake is not a coffee drinker). I am not going to gatekeep your experience with comics, and I am never going to send you anything that might make you feel bad for how you write your character. I love everyone’s interpretations, and I like seeing different takes on them! I just think it’s courteous to put this note here to be fully open and honest.

rp pet peeves : I keep running into situations where I get heavily invested in plotting something (Drawing, writing head cannons, making playlists, planning cannon events. . .I literrally brushed up on a whole ass language for a plot) Only to have those people completely leave me on read. I am not a pushy partner in the least. I would be more than happy to wait a month for a reply. But I need communication. I need feedback if something doesn't sit right for you. It's okay to put p3dophilia and r4pe in a story, AS LONG AS you put trigger warnings, ratings, make it clear that it is relevant to the overall plot, AND write it in a way that is clearly meant to show that these actions are disgusting, harmful, and traumatizing. (A good example is Danganronpa UDG.)

However, it is NOT okay to support the actions themselves or portray them in a good light.

I swear, these "proshippers" and "MAPs" find a way to justify their SICK degeneracy and fetish for children, and I still can't believe they encourage this disgusting behavior.

However, that still doesn't mean y'all should send death threats or doxx anyone. No one deserves that. Quick reminder that at the end of the day, we are all humans and have emotions.

Mains/Exclusives & Shipping

This blog does play with multiples of the same muse, and that does go for shipping too. That does not mean I enjoy one interpenetration over another, I enjoy all interpretations. RP for me is about fun, and having a good time. It is not a competition, and everyone’s interpretation of a muse is valid and unique. If you do not understand that, then please do not write with me.

I am selective on what romantic pairings I do with my muse, both in what pairings there are and who I write with. I prefer some OOC rapport be built before we get into shipping, but I am open to discussing the possibilities anytime! Never feel afraid to approach me. 

In that same vein, I do not do Mains/Exclusives in general, except on Verses (AKA a closed verse). If someone wants to make me their main or exclusive, you can do so! I’d be flattered! However, that does not mean I will be exclusive/mains back. This includes shipping as well, as I do ship with multiples of the same character and write with multiples of the same character. Everything I write with each mun is separate unless specified otherwise.

General Writing Stuff

I am much better at plotting rps (at least a bit!) as compared to 100% winging it, especially for crossovers or aus. My DMS are always open for it, so don’t feel afraid to reach out!

OOC communication is a must!!! 

No godmodding my character unless you have permission from me to do so. Please ask before hand if you need to do this for a reply. 

MUN DOES NOT EQUAL THE MUSE. 

I won’t be doing any writing of any actual cardfights on this blog. Battle scenes I’m fine with and can do, but anything that’s a game will not be written out. However, using it as a plot element or saying something happened is of course a okay! I just know trying to write out an actual game is very hard and can be pretty clunky! 

You may start a thread via sending me an ask, tagging me in a post with a starter, or sending me a starter meme. I do prefer plotted starters over anything else to begin (esp with new people), but I can work with most what anyone gives me. 

Reply speed can vary. Sometimes I write a lot, sometimes I only post one thing. What I am I’m interested in writing/which muses I am vibing with can shift randomly! I also am a busy student in Grad School and hopefully, soon a PHD student. This is nothing personal! I simply write what I’m motivated to write at the moments I can sit down and write, and sometimes I can’t even do that. RP is, again, a hobby. Usually plotting helps a lot with reply speed since it gives me a direction to go in, though!

In the same vein, if I drop a thread it is nothing personal either. I certainly am never offended if anyone wants to drop something with me. RP is a two way street, and if one person isn’t vibing a thread for whatever reason, then I don’t see any reason to keep forcing it. Something new can always be made if something is dropped!!!

Muse Interpretation

My Hazuki is what like to call canon based and headcanon expanded, meaning she does mostly follow canon (mainly based off the original anime) as a basis but with some expanded characterizations or slight changes to make her my own. 

Hazuki's orientation is hetero!

All the headcanons/character lore I post are ones that I create based off my own interpretations or discussions I’ve had talking with some of my mutuals. I don’t own any of my headcanons, and if someone happens to have the same HC as me (which happens a lot esp in big fandoms), agrees with my hcs, and wants to use that for their muse if they write the same chr, go for it. Great minds think a like, and everyone can write their muse how they want to! 

Writing Style

I tend to view my writing style as if I am a storyteller, which usually my writing has sometimes some humor, a lot of character introspection, imagery, and lore, world, and context building. 

I tend to write A LOT, as a result. However, I do not expect anyone to match my length at all! As long as I’m given enough to work with, we should be golden! If I can’t work something, I’ll be sure to reach out! 

I do not usually use Japanese honorifics (Kun, Sama, Chan, San, etc.) in my writing since I am not confident in my abilities to use them correctly and do not want to offend or disrespect Japanese culture and the language. However, if it is a honorific that is used in canon, then I might use it. This is dependent on my partner though. My partners are free to use them though of course!

I use bold for emphasis, italics for internal thoughts or narration, and bold italics for emphasis on internal thoughts or narration. I might also use big text or special fonts for a flourish here and there, depending on what I’m writing. 

Graphics

I use two dividers and blockquote icons in my posts, along with colored text. If you need colored text removed for our interactions or tagged, please let me know asap!

I make all my own icons, gifs, manga coloring and headers so please DO NOT STEAL THEM.

Any art used in edits/icons is either official art or fanart used with permission.

Mains/Exclusives & Shipping

This blog does play with multiples of the same muse, and that does go for shipping too. That does not mean I enjoy one interpenetration over another, I enjoy all interpretations. RP for me is about fun, and having a good time. It is not a competition, and everyone’s interpretation of a muse is valid and unique. If you do not understand that, then please do not write with me.

I am selective on what romantic pairings I do with my muse, both in what pairings there are and who I write with. I prefer some OOC rapport be built before we get into shipping, but I am open to discussing the possibilities anytime! Never feel afraid to approach me. 

In that same vein, I do not do Mains/Exclusives in general, except on Verses (AKA a closed verse). If someone wants to make me their main or exclusive, you can do so! I’d be flattered! However, that does not mean I will be exclusive/mains back. This includes shipping as well, as I do ship with multiples of the same character and write with multiples of the same character. Everything I write with each mun is separate unless specified otherwise.

When it comes to Kudo, because he is Miyo's fiance and love interest (and her love for Kudo is a big part of her character), by default, that relationship will be a part of my canon verse interactions (meaning Miyo will have feelings for him romantically). This does not mean any Kudo I write with has to reciprocate those romantic feelings, of course. I am flexible when it comes to this, including if the feelings in a romantic way are one-sided on Miyo's part. I am also open to shipping Miyo with others, having her be engaged to Kudo but not romantically in love, or having the engagement not be in place at all. This can be discussed at the individual level.

General Writing Stuff

I am much better at plotting rps (at least a bit!) as compared to 100% winging it, especially for crossovers or aus. My DMS are always open for it, so don’t feel afraid to reach out!

OOC communication is a must!!! 

No godmodding my character unless you have permission from me to do so. Please ask before hand if you need to do this for a reply. 

MUN DOES NOT EQUAL THE MUSE. 

I won’t be doing any writing of any actual cardfights on this blog. Battle scenes I’m fine with and can do, but anything that’s a game will not be written out. However, using it as a plot element or saying something happened is of course a okay! I just know trying to write out an actual game is very hard and can be pretty clunky! 

You may start a thread via sending me an ask, tagging me in a post with a starter, or sending me a starter meme. I do prefer plotted starters over anything else to begin (esp with new people), but I can work with most what anyone gives me. 

Reply speed can vary. Sometimes I write a lot, sometimes I only post one thing. What I am I’m interested in writing/which muses I am vibing with can shift randomly! I also am a busy student in Grad School and hopefully, soon a PHD student. This is nothing personal! I simply write what I’m motivated to write at the moments I can sit down and write, and sometimes I can’t even do that. RP is, again, a hobby. Usually plotting helps a lot with reply speed since it gives me a direction to go in, though!

In the same vein, if I drop a thread it is nothing personal either. I certainly am never offended if anyone wants to drop something with me. RP is a two way street, and if one person isn’t vibing a thread for whatever reason, then I don’t see any reason to keep forcing it. Something new can always be made if something is dropped!!!

I am AU TRASH so if you ever get an AU idea, please throw them at me!

Muse Interpretation

My Miyo is what like to call canon based and headcanon expanded, meaning she does mostly follow canon (mainly based off the original anime) as a basis but with some expanded characterizations or slight changes to make her my own. 

Miyo's orientation is hetero!

All the headcanons/character lore I post are ones that I create based off my own interpretations or discussions I’ve had talking with some of my mutuals. I don’t own any of my headcanons, and if someone happens to have the same HC as me (which happens a lot esp in big fandoms), agrees with my hcs, and wants to use that for their muse if they write the same chr, go for it. Great minds think a like, and everyone can write their muse how they want to! 

Writing Style

I tend to view my writing style as if I am a storyteller, which usually my writing has sometimes some humor, a lot of character introspection, imagery, and lore, world, and context building. 

I tend to write A LOT, as a result. However, I do not expect anyone to match my length at all! As long as I’m given enough to work with, we should be golden! If I can’t work something, I’ll be sure to reach out! 

I do not usually use Japanese honorifics (Kun, Sama, Chan, San, etc.) in my writing since I am not confident in my abilities to use them correctly and do not want to offend or disrespect Japanese culture and the language. However, if it is a honorific that is used in canon, then I might use it. This is dependent on my partner though. My partners are free to use them though of course!

I use bold for emphasis, italics for internal thoughts or narration, and bold italics for emphasis on internal thoughts or narration. I might also use big text or special fonts for a flourish here and there, depending on what I’m writing. 

Graphics

I use two dividers and blockquote icons in my posts, along with colored text. If you need colored text removed for our interactions or tagged, please let me know asap!

I make all my own icons, gifs, manga coloring and headers so please DO NOT STEAL THEM.

Any art used in edits/icons is either official art or fanart used with permission.
