If you're upset by his behavior that's a you problem Goku's just doing Goku #He's only upset when Other People get hurt because 2) almost none of those negative qualities contain any malice whatsoever #even as a kid when he was 'i killed that guy' it was like 'i solved a problem why are you mad (gen)' not 'good fucking riddance lol'#and he kept that as an adult too even when he learned more about compassion he's still 'well if you're not gonna stop i have to kill you'#it's never 'fuck off and die' it's always 'listen buddy either you knock it off or i knock you out there is no option c '#and god i love that Goku. I spent so long thinking I hated Goku growing up but I only hated Toei's Goku. Saw a post abt the Sonic movies that was like "plz filter negativity posts better" which is GOOD AND TRUE you should be doing that. Ok. But then they kept going to imply that the criticisms of the Sonic movies are all entirely Personal and Ignorable and not like. Usually abt the horrific copaganda, misogynistic writing, and Paramount's disgusting zionism.... Guys a lot of ppls problem w the Knuckles show wasn't JUST a bastardization of Knuckles' character or thinking Wade was annoying or whatever, but like was focused on the grotesque Zionist message from that one episode 😭😭😭 you can enjoy something and still recognize that it has intrinsic and huge glaring flaws and talk abt them. I think actually you Should be speaking up abt the misogyny, zionism and propaganda the SCU supports and discusses, ESPECIALLY if you like the movies! #loved this back up feature so much and seeing that bruce timm shit made me annoyed enough to actually transcribe it #first the way hes depicted as having to stand trial and ARGUE and fight for the rights of using the coin #rather than it just being a compulsion and something he must do before a decision....#like every time. every time when he's 'leaving it up to chance'—thats a time when harvey won. thats a time when harvey fought for the right #to use the coin and make it at least a 50/50 chance instead of 'crawling away until the hard part is done' like two face pushed for #every single time. regardless of the results regardless of knowing theres only a halfway chance of it actually achieving anything #or lessening the damage two face can/will do. every time hes fighting for and still believing in a fair trial and that everyone deserves on #it isnt him being weak. it isnt him avoiding responsibility. its him fighting and forcing and pushing for it as hes internally at war #with himself 24/7. even when two face wins he doesnt give up & continues to fight for what he believes in despite the injustice done to him #the way he tells Judge Janus that it isnt about HIM (himself!) while defending the right of existence to the jury of other societal rejects #the way he gestures to himself only at the very end. he asks the judge does that sound like anyone he knows and janus replies in two faces #voice but harvey keeps going. he keeps fighting for others. but at the end in actually acknowledging two face being part of him #(and by extension harvey being part of two face) and how harvey is fighting just as much to have a place as two face is #(but more within his own mind & upholding his belief system still despite knowing how it continues to fail them) and just FUCK #and two faces snaps! how theres no jurisprudence system above there either ! just no one will admit it!#how harvey knows!!! look what happened to him when he was doing the right thing!#look how many criminals and mob bosses paid their way out! look how the police are corrupt!#but still believing in it and how a system has to be in place despite being a direct victim of it as well and just GOD #I LOVE YOU GOOD HEARTED AND WANTING TO HELP PEOPLE HARVEY DENT YOU WILL ALWAYS BE FAMOUS TO ME !!!!!!!!#taking away how he genuinely wanted to help people and bring wrongs to rights takes away literally everything hes built on #it takes away the entire fucking tragedy of his character (and in many ways it changes how bruce himself operates and believes because #harvey WAS a good man doing everything by the books. he was trying to bring justice in the 'right way' and believed in the system. he was #what people tell bruce he should be and look where it got him. look how the system failed 'even the good ones' because the system itself is #corrupt. it isnt flawed—it was operated to oppress and thats why it cant just be fixed but must be entirely rebuilt and why bruce must #operate outside of it. it also gives more depth because harvey is one of batmans first and biggest failures. he didnt protect him.#he didnt save his parents as a helpless child (as bruce) but he couldn't save his parents as BATMAN.#it wasnt just random chance like his parents tragedy but this was calculated and something bruce didnt stop. its ALWAYS going to eat at #him if he could of prevented it by telling harvey his identity. by doing something different. by being more prepared or somehow #knowing it was going to happen. harvey is the face of tragedy in so many ways that cant fit in these messy rambly tags but its ALLL!!!!!!!#bc harv was (and still is despite it all! despite two face!) a good man!! because he originally was a glimmer of hope to bruce & the city!!

potential sonic 3 spoilers incoming if anyone cares. anyway . apparently there was an official survey about the knuckles show/scu in general and one of the questions was about what name you would use for an eggman/shadow/gerald teamup. which is a weirdly specific question. and also one of the name options was team dark …….. ?? even though rouge isnt mentioned in the question and theres no sign of her being in the next movie in general ? i was willing to accept amy being introduced a little after knuckles and tails but between there still being no sign of her being in the next movie and now this if they actually have gerald time travel or something and have him be the third member of the dark story trio instead of rouge then i will be fully convinced that theyre going out of their way to exclude as many already existing girl characters as possible. like i get cgi is expensive which could be part of the reason rouge might not have made the cut. but damn . assuming this is real anyway it could just be another fake leak but idk

#im not saying the writers hate all the girl characters (iirc they have said they like amy and rouge and shown interest in adding them)#and i also dont think the movies have to be complete copies of the games in terms of stories and characters #but some of the decisions being made here are so weird and kinda show a lack of care for those characters ..#its especially odd that iirc theyve said that part of what influences the choices on what characters to use is popularity/recognizability #both to fans of the games as well as more casual viewers #yet they might be rewriting a major part of the story just to include gerald over rouge?#and they wanted a character who was a ghost echidna that guided the living characters and they picked pachacamac #instead of tikal who both already fits that description And is more popular?#okay well i doubt casual viewers would know who tikal is but they dont know who pachacamac is either #and its also an objective fact that tikal is more popular among fans . Man. I do love when the character is Scared and fucking MAD ABOUT IT. Going from crying and cowering to snapping and biting the MOMENT a hand is extended to them. Trying to help them or otherwise just work with them somehow and the entire fucking time they're kicking and screaming and complaining and being disparaging and stuck up and just kind of a brat about it. ASSUME HARMFUL INTENT BY DEFAULT, get THEM before they GET YOU‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️ And NEVER trust a helping hand ESPECIALLY when it feeds you.

#it's an f1 au btw #so I feel like a merlin x f1 crossovee is very niche #but I just have this idea in my head pf arthur as a driver and merlin as an aerodynamics engineer #and arthur starts off as an ass (as per usual) and thinks that he's god's gift to motorsports and all his good results are because of his #skill and bad results are because the engineers fucked up bad #and lowkey people don't like working with him BUT uther is giving red bull absolute mega bucks to keep him and he is actually a fantastic #driver in his own right. deep down he's not super satisfied though because people keep saying he's only winning because of his car #and his dad's money which is why he's a grumpy ass to most people and tries to claim good races as his and blame engineers for bad ones #also because uther probably taught him that attitude #in this au I think either Newey didn't exist but rb dominance still did or this is far enough after Newey that I haven't got arthur blaming #him for a bad car because y'all I can't do that it's too unrealistic no one would believe it #(yes I am aware that max and checo are currently complaining about a car newey made but shh)#anyway he secretly goes to sign for like. williams or something who currently suck so he can prove to himself and everyone else that he IS #a good driver and can drive a shit car well. he's admittedly doing fairly well in a tractor when merlin joins the team as the new head #of aerodynamics and arthur is giving him shit because he's so young and how could he possibly fix this shitbox #then Merlin's first big upgrade packages comes and makes a pretty big difference and arthur has to rethink a bit #the next season is the first car that merlin was actually mostly in charge of and it's a massive difference and suddenly it's competitive #meanwhile merlin's pov is that arthur sucks ass and he hates him but he keeps being told that arthur is his destiny #he refuses to believe this though and even though he has magic he point blank refuses to use it on anything that would help arthur even #somewhat indirectly like using it to help design the car. his official reasoning to people who know about his magic is that the fia wouldn't #allow it but personally he also just wants to say a fuck you to fate because he doesn't like arthur. but then they get to know each other #more and he realises that maybe arthur isn't that bad and they become friends like in the show #arthur is leading the championship (pendragon dominance could bore fans) but then he has a big crash and is out for a couple of races #by all accounts it's a miracle he's even alive (it's the only time merlin has used his magic for arthur). when he comes back he still has a #chance at wdc but it's way tighter than it was. maybe there's only a few races to go. he gets some podiums and his competition has some bad #luck (genuine not merlin) or something but then at like the second last race he can guarantee wdc if he wins regardless of where anyone else #places. he does it and merlin is the one to go on the podium with him on behalf of the team (maybe not for winning wdc but just his first #win after the crash idk) and it's this big emptional moment #also morgana was as good as arthur as kids but uther only supported arthur so now she works for sky or someone in a role like nico rosberg

#F1 #formula 1 #max verstappen #I don't like it tbh #It feels as though he got a sit down by McLaren PR because damage control #And just the way he phrased things by saying we for everything doesn't sit right with me #Max isn't the one who made childish comments and threatened to end a friendship over on track incident #So when it comes to taking accountability why is it 'we' ?#Also the part about this being his first few wins so it is much more different for him than Max doesn't sit right with me either #I can empathise with the hunger for wanting more but the doesn't mean Max is going to let you win #He has taken every win as if it's is first and that is why he is already in the list of the legends at just 26 #Honestly speaking this feels as though an attempt to salvage things by McLaren once they realised 'poor Lando' angle and social media strat #gy wasn't working out as intended #RBR has simply chosen to not say much and even the majority of fans do agree on Max and Norris sharing the fault but Norris WAS childish #on how he handled it #It still feels really insincere idk #I will eat my own words if he manages to handle a L like this gracefully in the future though #anyways ver-lec-pia podium this week #I am calling it right now

my sister just dropped a whole rant on how she's not gonna vote in the next election and how everything is fucked politically etc. and it was all so depressing and nihilistic i just dont know how to respond. like yeah that stuff sucks i agree but giving up isn't gonna make it suck less.

she went on about how if the republicans do win that'd somehow make the democrats actually get their shit together when in reality it wouldn't cus it'd only make them look better without having to put the actual work in.

and yeah unfortunately the Democrats know that people will vote blue no matter who and so can get away with shitty and mediocre candidates, but part of the issue is that the democrats have so little power that people dont get to be picky. if people didn't have to scramble for whatever democratic candidate to attempt to stop republicans, and instead we could be more confident that a democrat would get elected then they could get to be picky.

#grymms spectacular fucking posts #i really do get where she's coming from in terms of not wanting to vite for biden but the thing is if he's the dem canidate then it's eithe #him or trump probably. and biden is terrible but trump is so much worse. not just in himself but also his supporters both in and outside go #if he wins we're guaranteed fucked. if biden wins we're slightly less fucked #we're fucked either way but still #i was also hit by how different our worldviews actually are during this conversation. like we're similar in both being trans and disabled #but those things effect our outlooks and experiences in such different ways #like i feel like those parts of me help me understand the world in a broader way and therefore help in a broader way even if they also do #make me oppressed. i find joy or at least strength in some way in these parts of me #but she just kinda is isolated by them. and i am too but not nearly as much mostly because i fight against the idea that i have to be #isolated by them and that the world is always cruel to people like me #it kinda reminded me of the ''you are a tar pit'' thing but in a different way #like idk how to put it but being stuck so far in ones own depression that being around them is inherently depressing i guess #like a tar pit. sucks you in

#augh. you know i am a little drunk rn but i am so upset about the state of everything.#i would not have liked the election results no matter what happened. whether it was kamala or trump #either way we were fucked. but the fact that trump won is just really hittin me now #like im supposed to believe that that many people really wanted trump to win. that there really are that many people who are hateful #before anything else #hate comes first for so many people in thos country #i want to believe that a lot of people who voted for kamala had good intentions. regardless of what that would have lead to #but all the people who voted for trump know what that means for lgbtq people. and immigrants. and poc #like thats why. thats why they voted for him #it is hard to get past that.#i am nonbinary. and cis passing. and i guess i got comfortable in my little pocket of the world where i was accepted and loved by so many.#and i guess i forgot how many people who dont know me still hate me.#and i guess i was really blessed to be surrounded almost entirely by people who believe this genocide should end #this election was a reminder that i personally have been so lucky. but so so so many people are not.
