A half demon cannibal that loses his humanity with every human he eats to survive. He hates hurting others bc of his doctors oath (my version of ej he was just abt to graduate and had a hospital lined up to work in as he was the top of his class and while partying in celebration the night before they walk across the stage Jenny lures him into the cult fiasco that ruined him) and he especially hates hurting the person he loves. He can’t help it, sometimes Jack lashes out out of trauma and others out of hunger. He doesn’t like eating too often as he feels it strips him of what little humanity he has left but as a half demon Jack doesn’t have full control over himself when near starving. Onto Toby. He doesn’t feel the pain but it still shows on his skin and Jack always patches him up afterward out of guilt. Toby takes it cause he feels it’s his punishment for Lyra’s death (yes my vers he remembers) of which he blames himself for. The least he can do is take abuse from his lover to help make him feel better. Sometimes when Toby feels extra self destructive or self hating Toby will do or say something that triggers Jacks ptsd of the accident on purpose and cause Jack to harm him because of it. Toby always comforts Jack after he calms down from hurting him tho. Sometimes Toby does it to get Jack to bite him and eat a little piece of him linking the two of them together for the rest of Jack’s nearly immortal life. They’re messy ok I love them like that.

Prince Ballister

SO OK WJJDJFJ this au is literally making me giddy just by thinking about it. So here it is (name), I know you wanted to hear mine.

like every royal and noble family, one must birth to an heir to continue their legacy. 

unfortunately, the queen is unable to make one because she's infertile.

she resorts to adopting an heir which made the director protest because it must be biological, so she tried to convince the queen to keep on trying but the queen made up her mind.

One day she strolled through the market where she first meets Ballister.

in this au, Ballister never had the dream to be a knight. But all he wanted to do is to help others to try and make their situation better

the queen saw Ballister buying bread with his own money that he worked hard for(she doesn't know that part yet) and proceed to give to a child who was hungry despite being hungry himself.

the queen took interest in Ballister and decided to approach him

for the next few weeks the queen would meet and get to know Ballister more, and eventually she adopts him.

The adoption immediately went all over the news and people celebrated and accepted Ballister as the new prince.(except for the director obviously)

ballister still underwent knight training because he wants to learn how to fight for himself and to not rely on other the whole time.

ambrosius, being gloreth's descendant, became Ballister' personal knight. And they both fell in love.

no one knows about their relationship except for the queen and ballister didnt know that the she already knew.

cue to Ballister being a blushing mess when the queen told him about it.

time skip to the knighting of the knights, Ballister gets framed for killing the queen and everyone thinks he did it so he can have the throne for himself.

The queen was killed through assassination, one of the guards was bribed by the director to kill the queen and injure Ballister and she'll try to fabricate the story.

How would she do it? Well she'll tell the people that Ballister ordered an assassin to kill the queen and harm him so he would also appear to be a victim as well.

the assassin turned to attack Ballister, with a clear plan to give a big Ballister the biggest cut, but ambrosius jumped to protect Ballister and got his arm cut instead. So now he's the one with the missing arm.

The assassin was immediately apprehended, but yelled out that Ballister was the one planned the assassination and that they never wanted to kill the queen. They were threatened to do it.

Then people turned on Ballister. The other guards were about to capture Ballister when ambrosius grabbed him and ran away.

Now both ambrosius and ballister escapes and are both being hunted.

The events that happened both went and didnt went to the director's plan because she didn't expect ambrosius to go with Ballister, so now she lost the decendant of gloreth.

they stumble upon the abandoned tower where Ballister bandaged and created a prosthetic arm for ambrosius (it was a hobby that the queen, the director and ambrosius knew about).

both tried to process the things that had happened, but soon Ballister breaksdown because of he death and ambrosius pulls him close to comfort him.

They stayed like that until they heard someone knocking on the door. Ambrosius pulls out his sword and slowly approached the door.

he opened it and raised his sword only to be met with emptiness, ambrosius lowers his sword and looks at Ballister, who went over to his side to check as well, and shared a confused look

then nimona scared the crap out of them by appearing behind them. (Lowkey find this cute because I picture ambrosius putting himself Infront of Ballister to protect him from nimona).

”Should we pillage a village? lay low until they dont remember and then we rISE LIKE A FIERY PHOENIX FROM THE ASHES AND OVER THROW THE GOVERNMENT TOGETHER WITH YOUR EVIL ARMY THAT YOUVE BUILT! And the people will scream “AHHHH THE EVIL PRINCE AND HIS LOYAL KNIGHT HAS RETURNED WITH AN ARMY TO DESTROY US”..............or we could just talk. :)”

ballister and ambrosius looks at each other, very unsure about nimona. and tried to shoo her because they thought she was a kid.

Since ambrosius is here, the escape scene never happened, instead they went to the institute to find the assassin and interrogate them. Nimona was supposed to be left behind but she joined them which scared them again

While capturing said assassin (they knocked them out), they were caught because ambrosius and nimona were having a small argument because nimona wasn't supposed to be there and ballister tries to quiet them down. Failed because ballister yelled out to silence them but alerted he guards instead.

Cue to nimona shapeshifting and they all escaped.

Once they arrived and nimona shifts back and celebrated their victory, which was cut short by ambrosius drawing his sword on nimona.

"is this how you say thank you to a fellow henchman?"

"henchman? You're not not even human! You're a mon-"

"DONT call me t h a t. I literally just saved both of you from getting captured and imprisoned in a room with no toilet!"

"she's right ambrosius, we should truth her"

"WHAT?!?"

It took awhile for ambrosius to give in but he eventually agrees to let nimona join. (He just gave in to Ballister's puppy eyes)

Time skip, the assassin wakes up and he's surrounded by the three. The same conversation happens, eventually the assassin reveals that the director was behind all of it

Ambrosius and nimona was shocked but they never felt so betrayed like Ballister. He had always looked up to that woman, he trusted her like how the queen trusted her too.

With that information, they let the assassin go. Not without being harmed though, when they dragged the assassin out, ambrosius decided to beat the assassin and nimona happily did it with him.

That is all I have for now. Few things are missing and some ideas didn't really sound right to me so I might change some stuff in the future. :))

(Dont want to start a discussion in your inbox but i have some thought) Maya went through a traumatic experience and I feel for her but fans completely disregarding his addiction feels so wrong to me as well (not defending his actions at all, he has been a mess for a while but I think fans don't understand that addiction is a disease and also always jump on the hating liam bandwagon to quickly)

addiction is definitely very much minimized by a lot of people and addicts are definitely looked down on without a level of compassion for the disease that it is, but ultimately people still have to be held accountable for the awful shit they do while in the throes of addiction. in cases like these, although i can have a general level of empathy and compassion for addicts and have hopes that he gets the help he needs and truly and honestly repents for how he treated others and heals, it's ultimately not what i want to focus on when a victim of abuse at the hands of an addict is speaking out and processing her trauma. i do honestly hope he is on a better path and understands the gravity of the harm he has done to others, but i don't think it's what i want to personally focus on right now. there's already going to be skewed sympathy towards a celebrity when someone comes forward with a story of abuse about them, and i don't want to contribute to that existing bias as well. it's complicated but not complicated at the same time- addiction is complex and awful and all-consuming, but abuse should always be taken seriously regardless of who is doing it and the circumstances that got the abuser to that point.

synopsis: planning nilou's birthday, your assigned baking partner, alhaitham, blurts out something unexpected. he finds out you're sweeter than the cake you both baked. contains: not proofread, literally rushed, sfw (implied nsfw at the end but i dont go into detail), a smidge suggestive, gender neutral reader, other characters, maybe ooc, mainly self indulgent. a/n: me desperately including cyno every chance i get (also him throwing shade at paimon) part 1 here !

Everyone received a handmade party hat from Paimon. The party hats had glitter on them and were made of cardboard. Streamers were attached to the pom-pom-topped portion of the cone. Everyone's pupils dilated when they set their eyes on them.

“Did the children make this?” Tighnari questioned, meaning no harm. “Hey! Paimon made that!” She huffed.

“It’s… something,” Alhaitham muttered. 

“I know, I know. Just put them on. In any case, it’s for Nilou,” Dehya sighed.

“Paimon can hear you, ya’know!?” She stomped her feet in the air. “Whatever, just go to your places!” she sulked. The Traveler had planned that they would all sneak up on Nilou and surprise her. They used the same partners for the arrangements: Traveler, Dehya and Paimon, Tighnari and Cyno, and You and Alhaitham.  A thought immediately appears in your mind — Oh great, the archons must hate me.

The lights turn off, and for a while, it’s an awkward silence. You and Alhaitham hid in a tight, cramped spot behind some boxes.

“Stop breathing so loud,” he whispered. “What do you want me to do? Stop breathing?” You elbowed him in the arm. “If that keeps you quiet, I��m not stopping you.” 

The audacity. He called you cute earlier; now he’s telling you to stop breathing?  Even from behind, you can still feel him towering over you. You wouldn't deny that you found him attractive; he checked nearly all the boxes for the qualities of your type, yet you just couldn’t raise his ego any higher. You thought he was cocky and proud enough.

[Name]’s so close. Alhaitham thinks to himself. His mind is cloudy and hazy; why does he always end up in situations like this? He couldn’t stand the absence of space between him and you. Of course, he ended up muttering things he didn’t even mean. When he first saw the spot you both were meant to hide in, he wanted to back out. He knew he would lose his mind in that small space with you. 

Then suddenly, the lights switched on. 

“Surprise!” They cheered, followed by Cyno’s deadpanned version— “Surprise.” 

You both completely forgot about the surprise. When the lights turned on, Alhaitham realized what you guys looked like and the position you both were in. He immediately took a step back. You ran to Nilou, and Alhaitham followed behind you. 

“This is amazing!” Nilou had stars in her eyes. “We’re glad you like it!” Paimon clears her throat, “Can Paimon—ehem, I mean, can we eat now?” Nilou nods, “Of course! You all worked so hard. Thank you!” 

As you all make your way to the table, Dehya unexpectedly comes your way. She wraps her arm around your shoulder and says, "Hey, [Name], what's up with you and that scribe? Are you two dating, or what? You’ve both been acting really weird.” You appreciate her concern, but her words leave you puzzled. “Dating”, why is it that your heart flutters? You wave her off, “I’m not sure either.”  

Everyone takes in the beauty of the feast, some, far too much. (Paimon’s drooling) “Traveler, can you control your pet?” Cyno hissed. “Hey! It’s not Paimon’s fault that the food looks sooo tasty!” She whined. "Let's save the arguing for later, now let's celebrate the birthday of our dearest friend, Nilou." Tighnari expressed. Nilou thanked him. "Let's sing happy birthday!" Paimon started clapping. Everyone had a look of uncertainty on their face, "If you all are uncomfortable with it, I don't mind." Nilou reassured the rest, to tell the truth, she didn't think that most of the people present would be willing to sing. "Nonsense, it's tradition." Dehya noted, of course she had two reasons. One — she wanted Nilou to be happy, and two — she wanted to make fun of Alhaitham and Cyno. 

(Cue them singing and clapping, which I won't write bc im laughing too much imagining it 🥹 CYNO ALHAITHAM AND TIGHNARI WOULD BE 100% MONOTONE AND THE WAY CYNO AND ALHAITHAMS VOICE WOULD STAND OUT)

You can hear Paimon's embarrassed chuckle as Nilou cheered insisting, "That was fantastic." Dunyarzad asks "Alhaitham, would you do the honor of slicing the cake?" As he is the closest to the cake. "Sure," He says. Alhaitham proceeded to cut the cake into pieces and placed one on your plate. “Thank you," you muttered. You took a bite, the sweet frosting coating your lips. While you were focused on the cake, he was focused on you—on your lips. He fantasized about using his thumb to wipe the frosting from your lips as he stared at them. He didn’t know what came over him, but he gave into his impulses.

He looked around, he saw that their nation's god, Nahida, arrived. The rest had gone to greet her— no one could disturb you two.

Before you could leave, he grabs your jaw and turns you to face him. You look at him with confusion; you were practically redder than the cherries on the cake. He glides his thumb across your lips, wiping the frosting off your lips, and licks it off his finger. “You’re sweeter than the cake, [Name].” He stares at you, the way your ears turn red, and the way you melt in your seat. “You– you could’ve told me I had frosting on my lips!” He was stunned. Were you going to ignore the fact that he just did... that? “Right.” He stood up. “I’ll get you some tissues.” 

 “Wait.” You grab his hand. “There’s still a lot of this cake left.”

idk abt u, but i find it reasonable to comemorate the death of those who did u harm. i mean, yes, we should always strive to reform pll rather than punish. I dont think ppl should decide who lives and who dies. But thats another question. If I, who just want to live, comemorate the death of someone who harmed me, am I evil? Or is that merely a consequence of their actions?

I mean, I think that this depends on the situation. I don't think that anybody should celebrate when somebody legitimately dies over an internet argument, for example.

I certainly wouldn't if I believed for a second that happened.

Although, there are some people who, yeah, I think it's fair to celebrate their deaths. The system community has a lot of trauma survivors. People who have seen the very worst of humanity. I certainly wouldn't condemn somebody for celebrating the death of an abuser.

To bring politics into it, Luigi Mangione committed murder. Somebody is dead. That person, for all of their faults and horrible deeds was a human being. They probably still had people who loved them. People who are in mourning right now.

But they also have blood on their hands. They didn't pull a trigger, but the fact that they were running a company that makes money by denying healthcare treatment from people in need means that they are responsible for the lives of anyone who died because they couldn't get that treatment. What about their families? What about their mourning?

So are people wrong for celebrating the death of someone like that? Someone who probably has more blood on their hands than any serial killer in history?

I don't really think so. 🤷‍♀️

I wanted to throw in my opinion on the Trans MC if you want it! Option 3 would be a lot of extra writing and coding, so I get that it wouldn't be a decision made lightly and it would be added pressure to get it right and it's a sensitive topic for sure. I will say that if you chose to go this route tho, it would make a huge difference and mean a lot to us. I'm a trans athlete, and the lack of representation can be really discouraging. It's time like these where we are receiving so much hate, especially when it comes to sports, that allies could really step up and make a difference. Reading can really open people's minds! It may be difficult and uncomfortable, and take extra work, but that's our everyday tbh. We out here living on hard mode 😂 that's just my thoughts on the matter but I will respect you and read your story either way. Much love 🏳️‍⚧️♥️

First off, I really feel your statement to the bone, the part about how allies could step up and make a difference, and how positive rep in media, games etc. is insanely important.

So many stories, TV shows, movies have shaped my experience of being queer and POC, and while some of them have been nice just so I could see someone like myself being represented, the ones that really made an impact are of course the ones where these identities were explored in a sensitive, thoughtful way. (When I watched Saving Face for the first time at 17, about a queer Chinese American doctor, I bawled my eyes out and dont think I've been the same since).

I would absolutely love if CT:OS/my IFs could do this for trans athletes too.

I've seen/heard so many worrying statements about trans athletes (both in real life and in the media)—and it makes me so sad.

Some that really get me really riled up are: The idea that a trans athlete's accomplishments mean nothing because they "have an unfair advantage" (or putting it down to "just hormones" or whatever instead of recognizing the hardwork, skill, and dedication behind EVERY successul athlete, trans or not). Or the idea that trans athletes shouldn't get to choose to be trans if they want to be athletes. Or the idea of policing trans athletes' bodies or forcing them to undergo surgery in order for them to be "valid"...

Well, FUCK THAT. FUCK those people.

If my IF can help celebrate trans athletes, and combat/shut down the really harmful (and ignorant) rhetoric out there? I'd love to do that.

But since I am not trans myself, it feels doubly, triply important that I wade really carefully here. I'd really need to spend time making sure I like and can stand behind what I'm putting out. I don't think it'd be responsible representation, otherwise!

I'm not really a perfectionist about my writing and that's how I make progress on my IFs while working a full time job. I'm more the... "slap shit tgt, get it out there, get feedback and edit if I feel like it" kind of writer. And I don't think I'd be able to finish CT:OS / Merry Crisis any other way. But when it comes to race, gender, and sexual identity? I really. Really. Wanna get things right.

(I rewrote that Rayyan convo about being a POC athlete with Deepal so many times haha and it was already marginally less scary, since I am a POC athlete.)

I guess what I'm trying to say is, I agree it's so goddamn important to have trans stories, and rep, especially in sports, where views are often so toxic and polarized.

But I don't think I know yet whether I see my IF being more a simple "yay, trans rep" kind of space or an actual deeper exploration of what it means to be a trans athlete. I was quite prepared to add the option to be trans (+ any accompanying scenes etc.) when I have the complete CT:OS 1st draft, but I was also toying with the idea of just putting something imperfect into the game earlier.

Faced with indecision, I've opted for: procrastination. I am still waffling, but it was helpful to hear what you guys think. Thank you so much for your message.

Lance Sweets:

I don't even know if Fireworks are legal in DC, but if they are you guys pretty much go all out.

Suprisenly, Lance likes anything loud so you guys go through a lot of firecrackers and bottle rockets.

If your not lighting up those your probably watching your friends' children and lighting the kiddy stuff with them.

He likes smoke bombs too, he'll light them in Booth's direction so all the colorful smoke blows on him.

He probably got you guys matching outfits for the day, but it's not like the cringy type of stuff some couples do. He'll just have red, white, and blue plaid shorts and a plane white shirt and you'd have the feminine version of his shorts with a cute American flag tank top.

Then to end the night you'll be cuddled up together on a blanket watching the night time fireworks.

Seeley Booth:

Seeley is a military man, so fourth of July is kinda his thing. The flags, cook outs, the fireworks, everything.

He likes anything loud or over the top, but nothing thst could harm you or Parker.

He still likes to spoil you guys with any type of firework or snack you want.

Your kinda the mother of your group of friends so you and Seeley are in charge of the grill. You guys have fun grilling a bunch of hamburgers and hot dogs while jamming out to music.

He'd invite his brother and some of his old army buddies, so you'd probably end up meeting them.

You and Parker have a lot of fun lighting up Roman candles.

You guys are in charge of all the big night time fireworks.

Homemade fireworks for days, you guys probably spend the week before experimenting and creating different things.

Cam quickly got tired of all the explosions and smoke coming out of your guys lab.

It's a normal, all-American day so Dean just wants to celebrate it with his family. It doesn't matter what your doing as long as it's not fighting God or hunting.

Just to mess with Sam you guys will wake him up early on the 4th by lighting a bunch of firecrackers in a pot next to his bed.

He'll grill up the best burgers in the world for the occasion.

If you guys dont want to leave the bunker that day you'd spend the whole day playing board games.

Later that night you and Dean would sneak away and lay on the hood of the Impala to watch the fireworks everyone eles is shooting up into the sky.

Sam Winchester:

Sam could really care less about the celebration, he really doesn't care about any holidays if were being honest, but if you want to have some fun he'll do it just he can see you smile.

He has fun just watching you, Dean, and Jack have fun. He'll just set there and laugh as you Chace Dean around with a sparkler.

Let's just say Dean found a lake and you guys spend most of they day fishing and swimming.

Even if he's around gunshots every day I think the artillery stuff will get old for him, so he'll go into the bunker and let you and the others have fun.

After Dean and Castile get tired and stop blowing stuff up he'll come out and rost marshmallows with you.

He'll create a firework especially for you and it'll be the biggest one he's ever made.

Colors, sound, and size are very important to you guys when your making or buying fireworks.

Like George if you get hurt he'll stop everything to make sure your okay, he'd probably make you set down for a bit and drink water just to be sure.

Night fireworks are the best part and you guys never disappoint your audience.

This man just doesn't see the fascination, nor dose your families. If you want to have fun you have to drag him to a party your friends are putting on.

one thing that really hit me earlier today is how HUGE of a difference it can make how your friends/social circle treat attraction to men. (lots of rambling under cut)

Like, in my "old" friendgroup (we still get along, see each other when I'm back in my hometown, and text, but obvi less than when we all lived in the same town) attraction to men was (mostly) treated as a thing of "oh, men are gross, but unfortunately I am attracted to them", "how could anyone just be into men? that musst be such a miserable life", "people need to decenter men, wanting to be with a man is kinda gross" and "I wish I could recover from being attracted to men". And while I dont think that was something that was meant explicitly homophobic it does a great job at forbidding those of us who are just attracted to men to be happy about it, to be unappologetically gay, to love men and celebrate it.

And honestly? Looking back that certainly was one of the things that kept me in the closet for the 2 years roughly it took me to come out as gay instead of bisexual, because it made me feel like I was failing them somehow, and like I should be grossed out by myself and my attraction to men. I *want* to be with a man, and while my boyfriend and I have been together for way longer than that, and I love him dearly, those sentiments about men also kept me from seeinf that relationship as queer, because I felt like seeing the relationship as a mlm one rather than the "bi alt girly with a gamer bf" stereotype (sort of the only thing that got made fun of, but not called gross semi regularly), even with me being transmasc would be treason to them.

Which didnt permanently keep me from coming out, and after starting T last year I finally admitted being gay to myself and others (as then it had become very obvious to me that I was trying to force attraction where there was none, and with being on T I felt like I now might not be "appropriating the term" too much (internalized transphobia as well as transphobia in the gay community be thanked for that one-.-), but like I said, delayed it for 2 years. And I'm going to be honest: allowing myself to just be attracted to men, and only men has been one of the most diffcult "desicions" I made, yet so incredibly freeing. And I'm gonna be honest: I do honestly think it dampered my connection to some of them for a little while.

Meanwhile in the friendgroup I have from uni (who admittedly only know me as gay) there are jokes along the lines of "boobs are great on me n others, and clearly the best", but like... Never in a "ew men are gross, how could someone?!" way, and probably equally as many "no thanks, dont like 'em, neither on me nor others (and I tried the former xD)". And that, as well as becoming good friends with another gay guy has been so fcking amazing. I think this really healed something in me, by now I honestly just love being gay. I love being attracted to men, I love my boyfriend, I love just being *allowed* to be gay and myself, and be happy about it at the same time.

So basically tl;dr: be carefull with all your "men are gross and get well soon if you like them/only them" type "jokes", it can cause a lot more harm in some of us than u might think

Ik most of us came to the conclusion that Dazai is an alcoholic (bc he is) but chuuya isn't and that his hobby is just drinking alcohol. Personally, I think that both of them are, here's why:

I dont really have to explain dazai cause we all know why we perceive him as an alcoholic (hence all of those bottles in his room and him going to the bar repeatedly when he was young), but I'll explain chuuya.

First of all, Chuuya's likes in the character's chart is "dogs" and "booze". Of course you can like alcohol and not be an alcoholic, that is obvious, but it's the way that drinking alcohol (specifically wine) is one of his main likes. Now, you can obviously love alcohol and not be an addict, most people who are addicted don't like alcohol because of its taste, but because it's a way to forget all of your problems, at least for a moment. It is a way to relieve the pain. And this doesn't just apply to alcohol, it as well apply to technology, food, self harm (wich may not be an addiction but it is a coping mechanism, that's why it's so hard to stop), smoking or vaping, drugs, etc.

Also, we see in wan that they use a lot the joke that chuuya is a lightweight and can't control his alcohol, we see him drinking all the time in wan a joke. This might indicate that he does get drunk pretty often. I also wanted to add that, in the extra chapters, chuuya is seen drunk, upset and trying to call Dazai, and I think that explains a lot too.

If you'd read stormbringer and fifteen, you'd know that this man has suffered quite a lot, so it's very possible that one of his ways of coping is by drinking.

Another reason I think he might be an addict could be that he has been drinking since he was in the sheep, and that is quite a lot ago. This is canon, since shirase in stormbringer has mentioned that the sheep (and that includes chuuya) has been stealing alcohol before and they used to drink it, despite being underage.

We also saw that with the flags he drank, too. Since he has probably started drinking when he was an early teen, this must mean that his relationship with alcohol is not healthy at all.

I also want to add that this man has a lot of trauma and is in the mafia. It's very likely if not canon that he has addictions with substances. We've seen him smoke a couple of times. In fact, we saw that in the extra chapters he was drinking AND smoking at the same time. The times we saw him consume this stuff was when he was distressed, except when he, kouyou and mori celebrated.

I think that sums it all up. I wanted to make this analysis since when we all started realizing that dazai was an ACTUAL alcoholic, we've started to minimize chuuyas relationship with alcohol and reduce it as a hobby, including myself. I realized that both of them use alcohol as a coping mechanism and not just chuuya or just dazai.

(Actually, the only thing that contradicts my take is the fact that chuuya has a poor alcohol tolerance, and If you are addicted to alcohol your body would get used to it and it would be harder for you to get drunk as easily as chuuya gets. Either way, my point still stands)

Just wanted to share my opinion on something. I always see dumb ppl saying its "stupid" to celebrate when you've been getting better. If I could put all those ppl in a room I'd flip them all off one by one fr lmao.

In my opinion which I'll say very loud and clear for the ppl in the back, I think its soo important to celebrate when you've been clean. Whether it be from drug/alcohol addiction or self harm or trichotillomania habits or unhealthy food relationships or anything of the sort. Please, if its 2 weeks or a month or even after 5 years! Celebrate. Be proud of urself. Buy urself a cake or have a drink with friends or even just have a night to urself and dance to ur favorite songs. Everyone deserves to get better. And even if you're having a hard time and keep relapsing, I promise u WILL get better! Even those who are still struggling every single day, you also deserve all of the love for doing ur best and still being here<3 If no one has told u recently, I'm proud of u and am rooting for u. so like, obviously i dont like or care abt ariana grande and i dont know what she is doing on instagram or whatever, if she is actually promoting ED behavior or elevating her own skinniness specifically. i am sure there r a lot of young girls who look up to her and may try to look like her. im not disagreeing with that. the general point of societial fatphobia is a super legit one, as is being frustrated by thin celebrities talking abt body shaming in the context of their weight, bcuz fat ppl r oppressed and marginalized for being fat and skinny ppl dont have the personal experience or context to understand what thats like or how weight and ED shit affect them.

but i did want to point out that generally, being weird abt ppls bodies or weight is Still Bad even when u say ur doing it for the sake of 'health' or ur doing it to 'prevent harm'. i feel there r better ways to talk abt the elevation of skinniness as a beauty standard and worries abt young ppl imitating potential disordered eating and unhealthy behavior without saying 'its not okay for someone to look like that'. weird

im a guy, so my experience w this stuff is kinda different and i internalized male beauty standards instead, but im a disabled guy, and i didnt rly have much access to food growing up, so in my particular case, ive had trouble gaining weight my whole life,no matter how hard i work at it or how much i dream to be a bear lol. ive struggled w disordered eating for non weight related reasons throughout my life. me feeling self conscious or bad abt myself isnt the same thing at all as being fat or experiencing fatphobia. im not saying that. skinny ppl arent oppressed for being skinny, obviously. but i dont rly understand why a celebrity possibly having an ED makes you think you Need to 'comment' on the way her body looks directly when u talk abt like . hollywood fatphobia or ED glamorization
