okay so i tend to work out my aus best when i think about them like a story so Step One: where the fuck do we start.

jaiden's pov. ofc. maybe alternating chapters. i think it would be mildly confusing until the reader realized that Jaiden Rogue and Jaiden Weapon were the alternating chapters and they were getting alternate viewpoints- one of her Descent, and one of her Ascent.

the descent chapters would be her turning into the sort of person who would follow orders to hurt an egg. her being lead by cucurucho to the living weapon program and being "deceived" by it by fully knowing what it wanted from her. making that choice to drown herself and emerge as someone -something- new. these chapters would Also address the problem that is jaiden becoming so brainwashed that she does whatever the federation wants instead of what she would have wanted, and hurting an egg (probably something via kidnapping/accidental injury she doesn't give a shit about. classic federation egg opinions). also she would have a subtext feud with badboyhalo. it would be the fucking- the annoyance that keeps her connected. the feds dont want her to fuck with him but he keeps fucking with her mission so she's annoyed when he shows up. like she never does anything outward to indicate this feud but there's the Recognition and the aww man not this guy again. the proof that she failed to remake herself because even with mission success she's still like aw MAN fuck that guy. she's still, infuriatingly, more than a tool.

Doing a Summary of the French ccs' Lore (because we are forgotten)

(this last part is a joke don't take it too seriously)

Making a post with the lore we know about every French ccs for those who don't follow them religiously : (I might forget some things because I'm not an encyclopedia)

BAGHERA JONES :

Has said in the past she does see herself (her character) as human, like in the "Regret" animation but has also talked about "dying her feathers" instead of hair, and discussed with mike about not really having hair. Her species/lineage/anything you want to call it doesn't seem to be something set in stone.

When asked from where she comes from she answers Switzerland. It seems to have been accepted by Cucurucho. (also knows about The Shit Tower from the Team du Lundi server, though that might not be really lore accurate)

Doesn't seem to be interested in leaving the island itself, but is REALLY interested in freeing herself and the others from the Federation.

Considers BBH and Forever as her family alongside the rest of the french. Both Pomme and Dapper are her adopted kids.

Has both an underground Base and a Castle far north.

Dropped out of the election on her own accord, jumping from the top of her castle's highest tower.

(note : Please admins, cook something for her... She needs it... She tried for days to solve the book thingy, and Cellbit ended up having the last clues and doing it himself... Please I beg you...)

ETOILES :

Is a masked anthorpomorphic cucumber. No ambiguity about that.

When asked where he comes from, it alternates between France, and Far Away (if I remember well) (Was also part of the Team du Lundi server, but nothing confirms it is part of his canon lore).

What does seem to be conserved is his familiarity with all the french ccs : His close joke-flirting relationship with Antoine, his friendly banters with Baghera, his kind of disciple in redstone and create relationship with Aypierre, and his friendship with Kamet0.

Actually enjoying his time on the Island because of the challenges it offers him. Particularly enjoys showing the Federation and The Codes how they can do nothing against him. Considers himself a simple Warrior.

Has a cave a la BatCave but spends most of his time exploring and far away from it.

His favorite thing is bringing loot and stuff to the other residents.

Is freindly with everyone, and enjoys every egg, with particular admiration to Dapper.

AYPIERRE :

A simple human (note : a headcanon I like and that his community has kinda adopted is imagining him with Doc Ock style mechanical arms)

Comes from a random place in France he wrote kind of has a joke to Cucurucho. As for a potential server he could come from the guy is one of the oldest mc cc on the INTERNET. I could not tell you.

We don't really know his feelings on the island, but is portrayed as an opportunist and enjoyer of contracts. Absolutely willing to have deals with the Federation, though also interested in helping the others leave the island.

"n° 1 Gegg fan". Built a Gegg generator and is behind the Geggpocalypse of the election dinner.

Has a fun uncle/nephew relationship with Richarlyson, he revealed the Geggpocalypse to him before anyone else, and is building a winery to run with him.

Has a small house with multiple elevators and teleport pads leading to his huge Factory complex he will open to the public soon.

"I'm secretly building a machine.." before being cut off by Slime saying "WTF MAN THIS IS CRAZY".

(note : We don't know what that last part is about though most likely linked to the lore he's been brewing with the admins that is coming early August)

ANTOINE DANIEL :

We have no idea what he is, though might appears "human". "We all have multiple faces, Im just the only one showing them all". *about the face that was on his inside layer on his old skin* "I'd rather not talk about that, it's private."

Comes from France, though his reference to the Shit Tower into the new Shit Palace might mean he comes from the Team du Lundi server.

We don't know his feelings on the island, though distrustful of the Federation.

Lives in his Shit Palace that is currently unfinished, with the Moon and it's ring above. Has a secret room under called "La Fin du Monde (the end of the world)" with (old and not updated) thoughts about the residents of the island.

Is easily distrustful though trusts the french the most, and confides most of his secrets in Pomme.

Has a weird admiration/obession with Cucurucho.

Summarizing the Brazillian's lore for the gringos that dont understand portuguese but are curious anyway:

Pac & Mike: Starting with the dynamic duo because they have the least amount of lore. Basically, they are best friends and like to do everything together! Like good best friends, they argue all. the. time. Both of them really llve their egg, however, after Mike accidently lead Richarlyson to his death he has been avoiding the egg. He is very scared of fucking up and would rather be an absent father with a living kid than a present father with a dead kid. Pac is more hopefull and likes interecting with the egg.

Also, they are more interested in the minecraft aspects of the server and not the lore aspects, so they don't really tend to go out of their way to interact with people. Besides, they stream earlier, so most people only log on when they are already getting ready to leave. They have created the bar "Buteco do Boi Gordo" which seems to be a huge success on the server and are in good terms with most people! They joined the Ordo Theoritas by accidently walking into Cellbit's hide out and are currently a bit scared of Cucurucho and of being watched.

Felps: He is a very laid back guy (minecraft-wise). He is a very close friends of Cellbit and constantly jokes about either of them going insane and talking to voices. He was also canonically driving the boat when they crashed.

He loves hanging out with Richarlyson and is one of the more present dads. He also hangs out with the other players a lot and likes talking with them, for exemple: he had a very long conversation with Foolish while Leo and Richas played! He seems to talk more to the english speakers because he understands english better than spanish, although he is very sociable in general.

He was invited to the Ordo Theoritas by Cellbit, since they were such close friends. But after talking to Cucurucho he started to suspect Cellbit was actually going insane. He hang out with Cucurucho more and ended up quite liking the little guy. Later, he told Cucurucho his "biggest secret" (that he would give his life away for Richarlyson) and in turn was shown the Heaven Room, in there he was stuck in a another room and disappeared.

(The reason for this specific lore is because he is currently traveling to Japan and didn't want to leave the Qsmp so soon without giving some reason for his character to disappear)

Forever: Arguably the brazillian with the biggest lore Lol. He is an extrovert and tries to talk to everyone, despite the language barriers, and is very good at making friends. He is DEFINITELY the best dad out of all of them. He is also DEFINITELY the best minecraft player from all of the brazillians and absolutely loves exploring the new aspects of the game Although he is more intrested in the game aspect of the sever, he is very invested in the eggs. He loves hanging out with Richas, and enjoy the company of all the eggs too (he even remembered that Tallulah needed to complete her missions and asked Richas to "talk to her" and "see if she can come online, even if she is speaking portugues, if you get what I mean")

In his past he had a best friend/romantic interest that coincidently also uses the Urahara skin, so when he saw Philza he was immediately interested in becoming his friend. Because of his values, he only became truly interested in Philza when he first saw his backpack and just how rich he was. He tried to flirt with Philza mutiple times and tried to convince him to love him mutiple times, not taking rejection very well. Although he has made many plans to conquer Philza's love, he hasn't followed through with any of it. The worst he has done is annoy Philza everytime he comes on the server Lol. (Not-canonically, he is very nice and was worried Philza would be genuinely upset with the storyline, even asking if he wanted him to stop)

Canonically, he was scared to death by a Grim Reapper that asked him to drink water, he suspected it might be BBH and is currently very uneasy around him for this same reason. He was invited to the Ordo by Cellbit, after being deemed trustworthy, he has said many times that he does not like "scary things" and does not consider himself good with this type of puzzles. Therefore, he reports everything he find directly to Cellbit and also seems to trust Cellbit blindly. He somehow managed to find the "Heaven room" in which Felps disappeared and realized the weakness of the reinforced blocks right away, guiding Cellbit and BBH over there.

He is also planing on terraforming an entire desert bioma into an ocean so he can recreate the very famous Copacabana Beach. It might seem HUMANLY IMPOSSIBLE but, considering all the absurd stuff he has done in his channel, I consider this quite tame actually.

Cellbit: He remembers Felps from his past, he also remembers Pac and Mike (who didn't remember him) from his attempt to escape prison (Non-canonically: they did a video together called Prision Break, if you guys wanna watch it). Not only is his character clinically insane, he is also an ex-convict and an alleged murderer. He loves solving charades and puzzles, loves mistery, ARGS and thrillers. Although, he doesnt really care about the minecraft aspect of the server.

He became very good friends with Maximus, bonding over the mysteries of the island. He is also very good friends with BBH, though I am not sure if they remember each other cannonically. He also befriended Roier and they have been flirting non stop ever since, Richas is totally trying to get them together lol (fun fact: his girlfriend also ships Q!roier and Q!cellbit lol). Although he originally seemed to deslike Bobby, later he explained it was all in good fun and he did not genuinely hated the egg. He is very suspicious of Quackity (for obvious reasons) and has decided to befriend him in order to keep him close and where he can be watched.

Cellbit really loves Richarlyson, but he loves solving mysteries more lol, so he is an absent father. He doesnt really expends a lot of time with the other eggs and doesn't really seem to have strong emotions towards them. He believes they were made by the federation to manipulate them and keep them in the island no matter what, so he is also suspicious of them.

He hates the Cucurucho so so so so much, its hilarious. After breaking the rules on purpose to see what would happen, he was teleported to an underground tunnel where the Cucurucho appeared behind him holding a chainsaw. He was terrifiend and ran in the oposite direction, falling in a whole fuelled with iron stakes. After that, he was taken to an "interogation room" where they expend the next minutes conversing through books. Later, he was released and developed a paranoia and a insane amout of hatred for the federation. Therefore, when he saw his best friend talking to the Cucurucho he was enraged, which lead him to follow them only to witness his best friend being taken away.

He is probably the person who logs on the most on the server, but most of the time he only logs on to say that canonically his character is also solving the QSMP puzzle in his computer. He was with Forever when they found the room where Felps was taken too and decided it was too risky to try and break in at that time.

I believe this is it! Maybe, if you guys want, i could summarize the CANNONICAL theories Cellbit has and the evidences he has found, but I wont do that for the ARG because that's too much information.

Cellbit gave me an invitation. 'Oh and before I leave here y/n can you give on to quackity? I haven't seen him recently with you both are like a couple ' He gave me another in Spanish as I nod. Quickly he walks away to give others the invitation to the wedding. Walking to the house I hear him mumbling. The closer I got it sounded like he was talking to someone. I thought my mind was playing tricks so I went closer to only her bits. 'yes .....anything..... I.....mines....will know.' The other voice started to talk after quackity, ' .....failing.... option.... take....' It sounded robotic and instantly I knew who it was. Cucurucho. Staying behind the building while my heart was beating quickly. I look at my wrist to see where everyone to talk to but no one was near. The conversation continued. 'Disfruta de la isla,' that when he left. I closed my eyes hoping if I talk my voice didn't crack. 'Quackity?' Hearing it in my voice it cracked. Coughing once more then moving to the side. 'Quackity,' calling him once more. 'I was trying to call you but I guess your watch wasn't working.' Looking at his wrist to notice it is off. Then he placed a smile. 'Oh I'm sorry y/n I guess my watch needs an update so was there something you wanted?' He looked like he was in a hurry. Shaking my head then a nod. 'Yeah um, this invitation is for you,' passing it to him as he read it. Taking a deep breath, 'Actually, quackity I was won-,' he cut me off. 'I'm sorry y/n but I have to get some supplies for something. Mind if we continue this conversation another day or later.' He stares waiting for me to answer, 'We'll how about I help you? you know what they say two is better than-,' he interrupted once more. 'No,' he shouts as he shakes his head at me, 'Sorry but no this is for me to do I'm sorry y/n. But we will finish this conversation later, right? At your house?' Taking a breath giving a faint smile, 'Yeah we can finish it later I hope you find what you need,' leaving his house. Noticing names on my map I start to walk over to them. Why would Cucurucho need him? What does he need to do? My mind thought about why they would talk to each other.

Slowly the sunset stared to appear while I walked to my home. Noticing Remi, my dog, outside on the porch. My lights were on. My guess quackity is here already waiting for me. Walking inside, starting to call his name. But I didn't hear his voice. Taking off my jacket, turning around to notice Cucurucho there sitting on a chair facing the door. 'Hello,' it robotic voice spoke as I stare at it. Giving a small smile barely looking at it. 'What are you doing here cucurucho? Quackity isn't here if you were wondering,' trying to say with no fear.  Noticing it brings out a book and starts to write inside. Two minutes have passed cucurucho finishes the book. Hands it to me. Slowly I read it to myself. 'I saw you behind the building. Whatever you have heard or thought you heard is confidential. If you tell anyone you will be taken away like felps and Cellbit. Do not ask him about what he is doing or any questions about him and i talking. Do not tell anyone about us talking. Remember we are always watching.:)' my mouth felt dry. Closing the book. Looking up at him I nod. 'Enjoy the island.' With that, he went away with a cloud. Hearing the front door open I turn to see quackity standing there with sweat over his face. Smelling like gunpowder as he flashes me a smile. Slowly I walk to the room. Thinking of the book. I hide it underneath my pillow it wasn't a nice hiding spot but it was the only place I could think of. Hearing a knock on my door I open it to see him by my door. He walks in, 'Will you be my date to the wedding?' He faces his back to me and then does a slow turn to face me. 'Yes I will quackity,' I give a nod as he walks up to me kisses my cheek, and leaves.

Quackity and I enter the venue. Notice everyone wearing suits or dresses. I felt his hand hold onto mine. Looking down as a smile appears on my face. We both talk to everyone. Especially the grooms, telling them thank you for the invite. The pastor arrive and everyone started to make their way to the seats. There weren't a lot of seats but everyone(and Capybara) got a seat. The song started with everything falling into place for the two at the altar. I felt quackity eyes on me. Slowly move my head to stare at him as I smile softly. He flashed one back but it felt off. His smile was a nervous yet scared smile. The vows have started. He excused himself to do something. I wanted to follow him. But remember the nights before of mine and cucurucho talk. So I stayed still. Watch the two talk about their love. The vows were meaningful. Talking about every second they had together. Slowly said their I do's with people cheering. Noticing quackity not coming back. People were leaving their seats after the couple as I stay on me. Turning around to see everyone smiling and laughing. Starting to feel like someone watching me. I turn around looking for the eyes that were watching me. Till I noticed them behind a tree. 'Why are you spying,' asked him. 'I like to watch from afar than up close.' Slowly walking up to him giving a nod. 'Did you take care of your business?' He shook his head. Instead of looking at me, he looked to the floor. 'I couldn't do what I was meant to do. And now I'm gonna-,' his voice started to crack. I had a feeling about what was gonna happen. In the back of us, there was a murder and everyone started to find clues. He held my hand showing me where he was. Underground and in front of us was tnt. There was tnt under every seat. Under the grooms and Richarlyson. 'I couldn't do it. I didn't want to kill the eggs with this y/n. Now I'm gonna pay the consequences.' There was someone above us. He pushes the button as he covers me from the debris of dirt. The explosion was huge and made a dent. We both cough till we notice slime above us. Quackity held my hand rushing us out of the area.  We started to hear everyone blaming it on Slime as he tried to tell his side of the story but no one listen. Catching my breath, he looked around us. 'Y/n I'm gonna be taken away. I don't know how long I have till he gets me. I'm sorry for not telling you about mine and cucurucho deal. I couldn't blow up the eggs or you. You were too close. I care for you too much. I did this to bring-,' he stop as there was someone behind me. My eyes started to water till I heard a breath behind me. 'Quackity please follow me,' Cucurucho asks. With quackity nods. He stares at me once more. Walking close to kiss my cheek. 'Please follow me,' Cucurucho asks again. Slowly quackity walks past me. 'Enjoy the island,' Cucurucho tell me as they both leave no one in the wedding noticing.

After they were far enough, I tried to look for someone to join me. Till I notice someone following them, Jaiden. Running towards her. She followed them. Quackity would notice her every so often. The two stopped as Jaiden hid behind a hill. Then walked once again. Caught up to her I kept my mouth closed. 'Where are we going?' Quackity asked starting to be hesitant. 'Please follow me,'   He continued to walk till the made it to the train station. Jaiden and I looked at each other confused. Finding a spot to hide as we hear their voice going further. Then went away. Not to hear anything from the other side. Nor were their names on our watch. They disappear. 'He's gone.'  Looking to my side to see Jaiden with a a slow nod. While everyone was celebrating a wedding. I lost someone who I cared for deeply.

Weeks passed as I wait for any words of quackity. Hardly doing anything trying to make a theory or make plans of how to get him out. A message appeared on my watch by Bad, 'Quackity is back.' Those words made me smile. Looking at his locations to notice a lot of people were by the station. Grabbing my warp to teleport to N.I.N.O.H. Starting to hear chatting them in his voice. I ran to him as I smile. 'I was so worried about you. What did they do to you?' I tried to touch his hand. He moves back as he fixes his posture, 'I will answer your question later but right now I have to do something.' He had a cold tone. All I did was nod. He starts to walk past me with no goodbye. Turning to watch him leave. Then looked at the name that was walking away from me. El Quackity Starting to hear Forever approach me, 'That isn't him.'  Turning my head to see forever. 'Whoever that is..,’ bad and other approach us as I turn my head to look at El Quackity, ‘He is not quackity. '

I'm so interested in the idea of q!jaiden and q!forever being parallels, ive never considered that much before! Would you mind elaborating on why you think that?? Especially cause im a big jaiden fan but i don't watch forever much!!

Oh, sure!

The main thing you need to get between q! forever and q!jaiden parallels is q!forever's reason for mistrusting q!jaiden. Basically the whole heated thing the fandom does between them and brings up every once in a while. And q!forever's reason has always been that he knew that if he was in q!jaiden's place, he would have done worse. Had it been Richas the one who died, q!forever knew he would be doing anything to have Richas back, or to avenge him somehow. And we do see he was true to his word when he got extremely angry and wanted to blow up the island and everyone. Forever mistrusted Jaiden (will be dropping the q! because honestly tiresome to type it out everytime on the cellphone) because he was projecting, he wouldn't trust himself if he was in her place.

Also a small note but something that I see people bring out often- Forever is the most motherly father of Richas. Like literally you could make a list of all the scenes where he acted exactly like a Brazilian mom would act.

Then we get to the happy pills arc, where Forever, drugged to a illusional state, sees a rock as his own son. He builds a secret place at his home, where he hides richarlystone for his drugged mind happy delusional state, gets a bunch of pictures of richas' family and puts up on the wall. Isn't it somewhat similar to jaiden's house at bobby fields?

Now, I personally don't like comparing much drugged forever to jaiden because. hey he was fucking drugged and not in the control of his mind, but I can't deny there is somewhat of a parallel here.

It gets more clear when Jaiden herself ends up seeing the house, and at first she gets weirded out, then proceeds to say something along the lines of understanding it and everyone grieves on a different way (I can't remember exactly her words sorry, can't really check her vod rn too), THEN, she finds a secret waystone on the place that is named "forevers weird place". Now compare that to Forever following Jaiden and Cucurucho to bobby fields and putting up a waystone "Jaiden secret house", finding the place filled with Bobby pictures weird, then proceeding to say he would do worse if he was at her place. Aren't those two situations extremely familiar?

Now, the reason I put the parallels as an answer is because of something I've seeing some people point out on twitter, although I personally don't agree with it fully.

Forever is happy that he got put on drugs by Cucurucho because otherwise he would have blown up the island. Despite how horrible being forcibly drugged was, he is somewhat glad that it happened. (now this is the part where I don't fully agree with what people are pointing out) Immediately after he woke up, Cucurucho goes and check on him, ask how he's been doing, ask if he needs more of the drugs. Yesterday, Cucurucho asked him again how he's doing, about his health. Cucurucho is somewhat being nice towards him. This would be similar to Cucurucho approaching a grieving Jaiden and manipulating her. So I've seen some people who are expecting Forever to end up more fed friendly today, like what happened to Jaiden. I personally don't fully agree with this analysis of Forever accepting that due to the friendliness being showed, but oh well.

I'm sure there's probably a lot more I could point out that I'm missing or forgetting- maybe other fellow Jaiden and Forever enjoyers could add on to this post, but currently I'm typing this while working on a college work to write with two friends, so sorry if something crucial slipped out of my mind LMAO. hope this post was somewhat helpful!

QSMP Philza update, go watch the Wednesday the 25th and Friday 27th updates if you don't want to be spoiled.

Nothing really major happened Wensday, philza went exploring for a bit after getting on to see if there was more black concrete, which there was.

He then spawns in his Minime who he later names Little Twat (not a joke).

Then he spends an hour and a half with Fit and Tubbo talking to the new Cururucho AI at spawn, occasionally getting flirted at, told stuff that could not be true and such, and trying to exploit the AI.

They then went to lucky duck before returning to spawn because Tubbo needed to get his minime Kitkat back after it randomly disappeared. So a random fed. worker came, had Tubbo dance then Phil got board and decided to work on leveling his minime, leading him to dig down under spawn to tr and find iron I believe leading him to drop down into a massive wold edit hole. Cucurucho then joins Phil stares at the strange area before giving Phil a quest to build an aquarium.

Phil then went off to gather materials and mobs for the aquarium, was joined by Fit for a while before Fit leaves, after which Phil spends a few minutes exploring before returning to spawn near the nino to "build the aquarium," if you count an outdoor aquarium with 5 tanks and no other infrastructure. However it counted so Cucurucho have Phil his requested building block rainbow glass or at least the components for it. Phil then went to gather sand for the glass, spent time looking at glitched terain for an hour or so. After which he headed home, hat a none cannon chat with BadBoyHalo and Royer about whether the Brazil or Vagus trips were better, before Phil went off to do a few cores before getting off for the day at the nest.

Friday had some lore happen, but it was nothing major or egg related. If anything it related back to the bird cage with the "wise crow" comment.

To give a better flow of events, Phil woke up, decided to work on upgrading his now 2 mini me's, affectionately called Little Twat, and Little Shit (normally, I would censor a curse, but the name is the curse word so...). With Little Shot asking for a weird mushroom (twice.). After doing some of the Minime quests he went home, had an existential crisis due to the black concrete at his face spreading, then went inside to check the message chest, finding nothing. Then while doing further checks he found strange vines on the inside walls of Tallulah's seed garden, which he followed to the back wall to find a picture of a skull with vines on it and a book asking if Phil remembers his time before the server and promising help.

Side note, I personally want to say that that is Kristen, the goddess of death, trying to communicate with him. It seems to out of place to be the federation, and with how different Phil's ticket is from the rest it has to point to outside interference. And one of Kristen's main ways of talking with Phil previously when lore related back to his wife revolved around crows. So her leaving a critic crow book? Seems plausible.

Plus, sleep is often described as the line between life and death.

Phill took some pictures then called Fit to come see, with Pac joining along, only for when Phil brought them to the area of the message to find it gone like it was never there and all his proof gone. This sent Phil into a minor panic that he tried to brush off, even though booth Fit and Pac believed Phil had seen something.

To get his mind off that, Phil joined Pac and Fit's dungeon crawl, during which he lost his shield, before the group separated after completing the odd triple dungeon with Phil exploring a bit to find materially to replace his shield, followed by minime item collection, a brief dungeon raid, raiding egg backpacks to get the means to get a minime item (a type of mushroom), before he goes hole, does a brief check of stops the eggs loved, ended up back at the dream spot, before going home and getting off.

Also, on the 29th, two messages's appeared on the QSMP Twitter involving the 4th, one involves the train station, one seems to involve Cheyanne.

No clue what it means, other then something happening November 4th.

I am so bad at writing long-term fics so I doubt that I will ever truly make this a thing but here’s my ideas for the project I have dubbed The French Escape:

- Baghera discovers a way off the island (she did it once, she can do it again)

- She tells the rest of her French Family. Etoiles and Antione agree to go with her. Pierre stays behind to maintain appearances and also because he wants to keep an eye on Bebou.

- Pierre is the one to go get Pomme (they’re not leaving her behind). He accidentally wakes up Dapper while telling her where to go/goodbye.

- Dapper straight up refuses to stay behind while Pomme goes (also because Angst, re: Bad’s memory issues. I feel here that Dapper just wants to be with people who can actually remember him for once)

- Dapper and Pomme leave (Extremely Angsty) letters behind for Bad (no real details just in case the Feds find them just sad vibes).

- They (French and Eggs) all meet up at the train station. Baghera leads them into a tunnel.

- They travel for days (or is it moments? Years? Antoine is in charge of navigation; without him, it’s not entirely sure where they would all end up). At some point in the journey, they realize they’re being followed.

- Everyone panics until they realize it’s just a cat.

- They panic a bit more when the cat disappears and Ramon appears in its place.

- Madagio’s not heartless. Not really. They had their own attachments, once, and it really will be easier for Fit if his are off the island and safe.

- They’re too far away to try to send Ramon back so they take him with them.

- Back in the island, the Feds know Something is up. They put the rest of the eggs to sleep until further notice. The Islanders are understandably stressed.

- Because Dapper and Pomme are both gone, Cucurucho becomes suspicious of Bad. He starts monitoring/messing with him to gauge his involvement with everything.

- He determines pretty quickly that Bad is unaware of what happened. He continues to monitor him for increasingly selfish reasons like love

- Pierre begins to feel guilty for leaving Bad in the dark. At some point he convinces Bad to read the book Pomme left for him. Bad reads it, the one Dapper wrote, and the one Pomme made before she left to help jog his memory.

- Bad regains his memories of his children. Angst ensues

- Pac’s archery arc still happens because it’s dope as fuck and I think he deserves to be dangerous

- Fit eventually staggers back from the Corpse Cave. He discovers Ramon is gone. Angst ensues.

- Foolish finds out that the French, Pomme, Dapper, and Ramon have gotten off the island. He also finds out that the Feds have put the eggs to sleep to prevent them from escaping.

- He learns this from letters he finds on the corpse of Agent 18, who was murdered while trying to get to Foolish with the information. Big Giant Angst ensues.

- A furious Foolish confronts Bad about his role in everything. Bad (truthfully) denies it. Foolish doesn’t believe him.

- Pierre intervenes to try to fix the situation.

- It does Not work.

- Meanwhile, Tubbo and Phil both stumble upon a weakened and half-delirious Fit (Pac is out trying to find things to help him). Unaware of what he’s saying, Fit reveals his purpose on the island.

- Angst.

- Pac comes back at literally the worst possible time and is thrown into the middle of everything. In a panic, he grabs Fit and teleports them both to Bad’s house

- …………………..

- That goes about as well as you might expect

- Phil, Tubbo, and an intrigued Bagi go looking for them. Everyone meets up at Bad’s house.

- A giant shouting match ensues. It’s very cathartic.

- With that out of the way, the islanders begin to plan. Bagi goes to get Cellbit to help. He and Doied go to Bad’s.

- The islanders begin to come up with a real plan to take down the Federation. At some point, Doied tries to sneak away to rat (heh) them out. Bagi discovers him and a confrontation occurs. Doied is revealed as an imposter.

- Cellbit, for very obvious reasons, does not take this well. He takes this the opposite of well. It is Not Good

- While everyone is trying to prevent Cellbit from committing even more murder, Phil slips outside and falls asleep in the flower field in front of Bad’s house. When the others go to look for him, they find a massive tangle of vines and roses in his place.

- The lowest point of the story is reached. Plans are made and discarded, everyone is Stressed, nobody trusts anything, and the noose of the Feds draws ever tighter around their throats. The tension builds and eventually breaks.

- Madagio in cat form appears and leads Fit, Pac, and Tubbo to a secret location. Bagi sneaks after them because she’s a badass and is also the best detective of all time. Mike follows Bagi because Fofoca and also because it’s Pac.

- Madagio reveals the schematics used by past islanders to take down the Fed’s firewalls. Tubbo recognizes them as his own design; he begins to remember Creation. Morning Crew work together to merge Tubbo and Creation into a unified whole and then use their combined powers to revamp the schematics to make them actually work (everyone humiliates Madagio for being a cringe-fail wet cat. It does so much psychic damage that Madagio forgets how to be a villainous asshole and instead just becomes a Cat Asshole).

- Phil wakes up in Rose’s realm. She and her wife, the Blaze Empress, worked together to pull Phil off the island. Unfortunately, to do it and in order to heal, he had to die. The Blaze Empress calls him a dumbass which is completely deserved. The other deities from Phil’s hardcore world band together to send Phil back with extra protection from the Enderking.

- Phil wakes up surrounded by vines and roses, with the ocean in his lungs and the scent of smoke in his throat. He wakes up with his wings.

- Back at base, Pierre receives a message from Antoine telling him that the escapees are safe but have to be hidden. Everyone else converges to tell their stories.

- As everyone gets ready to put their plan into action, Cucurucho appears. There’s a lot of screaming. Cellbit summons a gun. Tina tries to rip his throat out with her teeth. Bagi is aroused impressed.

- Cucurucho seems indecisive for the first time ever. Haltingly, he tries to stop them. Bad steps forward and gives him a hug. Cucurucho blue screens.

- Cucurucho decides to help them.

- There’s a long, drawn out confrontation with the owners of the island that the Islanders eventually win. It’s very epic. Phil flies. Pac, Fit, and Tubbo kick ass. Cellbit, Tina, and Mouse get to be feral as a treat. Bad and Foolish are chaotic. It’s awesome.

- In the aftermath, Doied tries to kill Cellbit but can’t because there’s just enough of Roier’s consciousness left behind to stop him. Tubbo, Pierre, and Bagi help Cellbit figure out how to reverse the process and save Roier. Doied ends up inside the rat body. Mouse and Tina decide to take care of him together.

- Madagio and Cucurucho help Pierre get a message to Antoine. The three of them plus Foolish and Bad go on an adventure together to bring them all back (it gets very gay.)

- In the end, everyone reunites at the old spawn. The other eggs are awake. In a beautiful twist, Jaiden, Maxo, Vegetta, Spreen, and DanTDM appear leading the dead eggs.

- Lots of happy tears ensue.

- Fit and Pac share a quiet moment together with Ramon in a field of fireflies.

- Tina finds the ring Bagi left for her and is Very Gay about it.

- Missa shows up at some point and is also very gay with Phil.

- Cellbit and Roier actually talk to each other about their traumas and there’s lots of crying and are also very gay.

- Basically everyone is extremely gay and happy and the French are there and Etoiles pvps Cucurucho into the ground while everyone cheers and then Bad picks up Cucurucho and sloppy kisses him while everyone boos.

- They all live happily ever after together because I say so.

i want to talk about the discovery of the new "alive egg" and an "unknown dead egg" and richas being from group 04 with his image glitching but i just kind of want to share my thoughts, i don't view this as a theory ok

first and foremost, i see only two options for the "Memories" egg that has been brought up to the conversation: either they are dead or they have always been Richas. personally i love this "richas theory" but i think, realistically speaking that the egg who wrote that diary, died. the reason for that is because when you create a story you need to create weight and depth for the characters as well, so people feel the immersion more deeply too.

i will mention Bobby's death, as it was the egg's death that had the most impact on the overall story and completely changed the course of the characters and their personal lore. Bobby's death was shocking and malicious, the feeling left was also of great injustice and this is perfectly linked to what the Federation and the Cucurucho mean to the story. more and more we have confirmations that they have total control over the lives of the eggs so it only makes all the situations more cruel, the eggs dying is a choice. and when you follow a story where this type of narrative happens, the attachment is stronger, the feelings are more intense and more significant, everything becomes more emotional because if you watch something where the most beloved characters are not at risk of death or when they die, it soon reverses and the character comes back to life... it completely loses the weight of the narrative. Bobby deserved to live, but Cucurucho chose that he deserved to die, the Federation does not see the eggs as children who have family, friends, personality and a life, for them, they are just experiments that can be used and discarded when desired. that's the weight of the story, this is the narrative we have been following for almost a year.

JuanaFlippa and the Codes. i still remember when everyone thought that Juana would come back to life, that she would receive another chance since (once again) her death would have been fraught with the feeling of injustice. there were several theories that she would come back to life after months of death, and when CodeFlippa's plot twist happened it was simply incredible. JuanaFlippa is dead, she will not return is what they reaffirmed once again about the narrative. therefore, rationally speaking, that little egg that was left to die by the federation must have died.

the Federation left that egg to die, that was their choice. it's unfair... it’s the feeling that remains, right? so it makes perfect sense.

i don't see any reason why it should be changed in the narrative that after 5 months since this diary was found, which was something impactful for the story and the weight of carrying the memory of a child who suffered and was left to die, this egg is alive after so long and after clearly the intention was to show once again how cruel the federation can be, as this also adds to the main story. unless it was the Federation's choice, to have used this egg that had been discarded to be the Brazilians' egg, which there is a lot of speculation that their arrival was something not foreseen by the Federation, so why not use that experiment that was discarded? it would make sense that Richas was a completely different egg that had their memory erased and was altered to be the new egg of the residents who arrived on the island without prediction. this would explain why, unlike Pomme, Richas initially couldn't communicate very well and didn't seem to understand things being said in portuguese, since the diary was written in english for example.

but this is just a theory that i really like, so i prefer something to be done that is more coherent with the story and not just for fanservice, so i believe that the egg from the "Memories" diary died or at least there will be a plot twist of explanation that somehow the little egg underwent experiments to be reused and become Richarlyson. well, that's it i don't know but i just hope to see new people from other countries soon and so there is a new egg to be discovered, i can't wait to meet more people from new cultures and see the new kid experiencing trauma together with their parents

i'm really excited to see what the QSMP 2024 will be like! more people, more countries, more cultures, more kids, more friends, more bonds to be created and more suffering from getting attached to characters and minecraft eggs!! :)

heres a long recap on qjaiden and qfoolish’s relationship, their ties to cucurucho, and recent lore

it mainly started around the time qjaiden was doing her cucurucho missions and there was a lot of distrust on the island towards her. qfoolish seemed to be one of the few people who genuinely didn’t seem affected by her working with cucurucho. mainly due to the fact he wanted to befriend cucurucho for a cloud. so over time they got closer as friends over this very thing. they both held some type of connection with cucurucho. she eventually shows foolish her base at bobby fields which is a very special place for her. only inviting those over who trust her. foolish & leo were in-fact the second people she ever showed this base to. roier the first and cellbit & richas the third. over time she’s one of the few people who gets to witness and hear about all random interactions foolish has with cucurucho. i feel like over this time they were dubbed cucurucho buddies. there’s also the blue bird mission where jaien is tasked to go to coords which led to a dangerous dungeon but no worries because foolish, cellbit, and bad all follow her invisible (though she was aware of this) because they worried something may occur to her. all of them seemed bonded even closer after that and they called themselves the jaidens. also important to mention foolish and cellbit are technically related since foolish is roier’s father and cellbit is roier’s husband. which makes foolish cellbits father in law.

now to present time foolish gets given the task of arresting tazercraft. when he went to go do that tazercraft were giving jaiden a haircut. so somehow she ends up roped into the arrest and is one of the few witnesses. fast forward theres the interrogation between cellbit and foolish. foolish calls in jaiden to be the witness and lawyer. fun fact there was a court trial previously on the island and jaiden was a lawyer and she slayed. moving along, foolish doesn’t say anything important to cellbit so jaiden tells cellbit she’ll take charge and get the real scoop since her and foolish are bonded. she does this for cellbit because her and cellbit also have a close relationship due to roier her bestie being married to him and then later gaining a genuine respect for each other. remember he was the third person she showed her base too and actually showed the entire base to including the basement. cellbit was also one of those few people who was empathetic towards her during the distrust period. so you could say they’re pretty tight. in this moment she is deliberately choosing to help cellbit.

so afterwards she does just that and speaks with foolish about everything to learn about what truly occurred. and she got all the information from him! however this is where some things begin to get a little mixed up. foolish lies to her about his conversation with cucurucho in an attempt to make himself perhaps look better, maybe more understandable on his part, or even just for some spice (who fucking knows its up to you to have your own interpretation). in this lie he tells jaiden that he was given two options arrest pac and mike or kill richarlyson. the richarlyson part a lie. and jaiden having no reason to distrust foolish or question him as foolish has never once lied to her before believes this. and empathizes with his situation and says she would’ve done the same. she has a strong passion for protecting the eggs as do many of the other island residents. so then after this conversation ends she runs off back to cellbit and informs him of what she was told. unknowingly spreading this lie. this is another instance where things get interesting she once again goes back to speak with foolish. and tells him that she told cellbit about what occurred. foolish admits he assumed she would do that. a moment that insinuates the lie to be calculated on his part. now jaiden here says she isn’t sure if she wasn’t supposed to tell foolish she told cellbit all the information but she felt she had because she felt bad about lying and going behind his back. it is her friend at the end of the day. throughout their conversation it really appears that jaiden doesn’t want this conflict to blow up outta proportion, to me i interpreted it as her character really not being fond of conflict. or at least conflict between her closest friends. despite foolish knowing she told cellbit his trust and bond with jaiden didn’t seem to waver at all. friends who cucurucho together stick together i suppose (bad joke)

the next day foolish gets a couple threats from both forever and fit about the whole arrest situation and betrayal. after hearing foolish decides he’ll try and search for the prison but no luck. then he tries to learn for mr mustard. this is when leo suggests doing a summoning circle to see if this capybara will show up. jaiden logs on just as foolish finishes and he immediately invites her to tag along. foolish, leo, and jaiden did the ritual together and sadly mr mustard was not summoned however cucurucho was. they’re both surprised but they go along with it. foolish takes this chance to ask cucurucho what happened with the arrest, if they were wrong about who kidnapped mr mustard and if they could release pac and mike. and this is when cucurucho asks a very important question. “your decision. alone or accompanied.” foolish responds saying the second option. so important to note foolish had no context about what was going to occur or be said after he replied so he just wanted jaiden to be there. he also doesn’t read this book aloud which leaves jaiden with no context to what was happening as well. im quoting the moment here because i think it’s important to understand why jaiden even tagged along.

foolish: yeah! i think you know it’d be more fun that way. well maybe i dont-

cucurucho: yes

foolish: well congrats jaiden we uh-

jaiden: what?

foolish: okay yeah nevermind yep

cucurucho: follow me

foolish: following

jaiden: okay? well i’m coming too. come on leo

so they follow cucurucho and it takes them to a room in the prison. both never having been there or being sure whats about to happen. this is where cucurucho offers foolish the detective position and the mr mustard report as sorta a reward for the arrest. the report details that mr mustard was last seen at the hide and seek arena and that crushed oranges had been found at chume labs most likely signifying a struggle, and lastly that the murder mystery arena still had to be investigated. foolish questioned if cucurucho was completely sure about all this information and all it replied was “do you want to find mr mustard”. after everything was said foolish asked cucurucho if this was a public thing? cucurucho said no. this position was meant to be a secret. then he asked what exactly stops jaiden from telling others? cucuruchos told him “you said you wanted company. it is your choice. :)” which to me is super intriguing because it insinuates that foolish could’ve been doomed to fail from the start. if someone like bad had been with foolish and he had replied to be accompanied then immediately he would be compromised so cucurucho seems to have definitely been ready to brew some conflict. some important things to note foolish’s decision wasn’t impulsive he surprisingly thought this through and asked many questions. even asking leo for her opinion and if they wanted him to do it. he did ask about pac and mike and each time cucurucho refused to tell him where they were or the fact they had already escaped. foolish’s attempted to also get jaiden a detective role but cucurucho did not seem too into the idea replying with a “no. maybe.” and ended up not doing that. after he agreed to the detective position and the case jaiden and him spoke. she swore secrecy to foolish and that she would not be telling anybody about what occurred. to directly quote her,

“no i’ll be honest i didn’t feel good about tattling. so i hereby swear secrecy to you. i feel like this is bigger than me i don’t want to fiddle with it you know. if you want to tell people, tell people but my lips are sealed”.

that explains her position on everything and why she hasn’t informed others. there’s also a moment after all the cucurucho stuff where bad, foolish, and jaiden hang out but nothing really important happens since neither foolish or jaiden spilled anything to bad.

then rather recently she logs on (today, july 29th, when this was posted). bad decides to interrogate her after his conversation with foolish since she was with foolish yesterday. after all that she goes and tells foolish what happened with everything and that she wasn’t mentally prepared and apologized for the slip up. they then sort their stories out so that they’re on the same page about everything. foolish decides he won’t tell them about cucurucho showing up despite jaiden’s slip up since he wasn’t the one to admit it. she also makes the joke about staying at her base at the time being during all this foolish stuff so she doesn’t get bothered further. foolish asked jaiden if she wants to be kept in the loop and told information about anything that happens in the future and her answer to that is that it is completely up to foolish. up to this point foolish still hasn’t told her that he lied and he doesn’t seem inclined to at all. so i suppose we’ll have to see what he decides in the future. later a disguised bad and pierre calling themselves The Justice League torture foolish to get him to try and confess and admit that slip up to be true. he does not do that at all and says perhaps jaiden was lying or jaiden was the one having the conversation with cucurucho but not him. The Justice League says they would’ve included jaiden in this torture but she had logged off (lol she escaped just in time).

and i think that is everything up until this very present moment. i am normal about these characters as you can tell. if i made typos. no i didn’t 👍

hm, this is actually giving me some thoughts:

The Codes seem to have some sort of link with the black concrete (the structure above Arin's house; a Code appeared there, Arin/Luzu are already linked to the Code, and they found messages in binary in the structure). And Codeflippa leading yesterday's trio there reinforces that idea. Like we talk about it being a part of the maze in black concrete, but at the top of the walls there were green... vines? that reminded me of the Codes.

Now I don't remember why Cucurevil got theorized to be linked with the black concrete, but it would make sense? It's a mysterious entity that appears kinda at the same time as this black concrete corruption. Even before, you'd have black shulker boxes and black signs dropped by a mysterious entity, that sometimes would use the same ":)" as Cucurucho; I think we are meant to compare him to Cucurucho, and, well, Cucurucho is white like the Federation buildings, so possibly Cucurevil is black like the concrete? Bit of a stretch, but you get the idea.

There were already theories back when we first met Fred that he wasn't a regular employee, but a Code or Cucurevil in disguise. Now we know through Ron that his blue outfit is a ranking system and he seems to indeed be part of the Federation, but that doesn't mean he can't be aligned with something else, he's already showing he can break the rules by talking with Tubbo. So maybe he was tasked to lead three players in the maze to a game thing, and Codeflippa was tasked to do that too.

I've always been of the belief that at one point during the elections, the Federation got control over the Codes; yet, some of them were able to escape said control and follow their own agenda. Now, I wonder if some of these Codes that escaped the Federation control did so thanks to Cucurevil, and so they are working for him.

Actually, maybe the Codes were always working for whatever entity is linked to the black concrete? The Federation then seized control over them, and some escaped, either returning to the black concrete entity, either having their own agenda. So a reason why it's hard to make sense of the Codes motivations is because we're trying to look at it as a united front, when it's possible that there are different units with different motives.

Codeflippa being so hesitant and wondering if it's worth it may be because she's feeling remorse; she follows whatever plan this black concrete entity has, but after seeing the islanders react to her (and maybe more, maybe she got involved in other code stuff when not playing Flippa), she's feeling bad and wonders if it's something they (she) should really go through

I think maybe the Federation used to have a facility in the maze, but it got taken over by the black concrete entity, forcing them to abandon it. After all, the white room we saw was in an awful state, and in a part of the labyrinth behind a close metal door

There are still questions, but some of the ones we could ask can at least have the start of an answer, hypothesis can be thrown!

qhy was codeflippa waffling about giving bad aypierre and max that key? "is it worth it" what does that MEAN. why were the rooms covered in cucurucho pictures and why was the correct path the one with the cheerleading outfit. bad got focused on the dots on the wall but i think it looked like dice what is UP with the gambling theme. why was dapper's hat there? "We know. YOU." three dice? why was 7 good? why does bbh have a ticket? why did codeflippa lead them there. she has dapper's cracks. why was she their guide. WHAT is the relationship between the code and the "evil" cucurucho and cucurucho and osito bimbo and the federation. why are the codes' behaviour so inconsistent. fred lead tubbo roier and slime through the maze- why was he talking about acting normal? why is that TWO supposedly-opposed entities who have lead players into the maze? why did fred have to lead them there in secret? why is the black concrete leaking? what's up with those messaging consoles? how much power do the feds have over/under the wall? i dont think it's a lot. but then why the pictures and why the consoles and why the couches like overseeing an arena. why does bbh have a boarding pass now. #003. what does this all have to do with the missing eggs?

Wanted to talk about q!Forever and his presidency seen from the pov of someone who mostly experience it from outside percepctive as I'm incapable of understanding Brazilian. SAYING IT RIGHT NOW I'm not here to say q!Forever is wrong or evil (as I'm convinced he is not, no need to come and tell me), this is not what's it's about, this is about how lost he seems when you are looking from the exterior.

So I know drama is brewing because people are fighting over who's right and who's an evil virus of satan, and I don't care, I'm not interested in this. I want to talk about the characters I love, because I love q!Forever, and his story makes me so sad.

I want to explain to those who wouldn't know, I'm a mostly french viewers, I follow Etoiles, Baghz, Antoine, Aypierre and Phil (mostly, I try to follow everyone's storyline and povs), the last two are not important here as Philza doesn't interact with the president storyline at all and Aypierre's involvement can be resumed to "I don't care who's in power and what they do, I'll be nice to them because I want power". But basically what the Forever Presidency feels like is not evil, or corrupted, it feels WEIRD :

Because obviously he is kindhearted, he has saved the eggs multiple times, he has done a lot for the island, and has said multiple times he wants to help everyone, and I believe that. But then in some of his actions and speeches, there is so much stuff that we are weirded out about. First how he told Baghera how he wanted to make everyone vote etc. That's okay, but like she said herself "Well that was my campaign idea..." And that's true, and that was also a thing Him and Cellbit used as way to descend her campaign, so that felt like a light knife in the back. But that's the least worrying thing.

There was then the whole deal where from what I understood he felt betrayed by Baghera and Bad as they didn't share everything and witheld information. And from Baghz pov that felt like it came out of nowhere because... Well she didn't ! That was simply miscommunication. And ensued the whole deal where he talked about how he felt about the arrival of the new people, and how he didn't trust them and didn't want to help them unless they had an egg. That was a weird thing in itself, he is supposed to be the president of the island and he is the one least willing to welcome new people.

There was also the nerfing armor stuff. At first we thought he said that as a joke you know, he is just not saying no to Quackity because that'd be rude. But who in their right mind would do that right ? Right... ? And then yestedray he asks Etoiles to do a debate with Quackity to discuss it and everyone went "Wait, he's actually considering it ?" And that was weird because... Well Forever spends most of his time in his base. Isolated. And when you watch Etoiles you know that even with the strongest suit of armor in the game you CAN die everyday. Is... Is Forever asking for a death sentence ? Has he been living under a rock ?

The last thing was yesterday, when Etoiles wanted to ask him a few things, he arrived when Forever was having a secret discussion with Cucurucho, and he ordered the construction of a prison he would have access to. And THAT was so WEIRD, everyone in chat and in reaction were like "WHAT !!??? WH... WHY ??", and then followed by "could I have a gun to defend myself ?" and everyone went "Oh. He... He doesn't trust us !!!", Etoiles himself went *raises eyebrow*. There is something REALLY going bad with q!Forever. And then he immediatly follows by taking in consideration Etoiles' request to allow Dark Metal for his fight against the code, so he's not evil, he's not corrupted... And that's where I realised what it felt like, it feels like he is lost.

It seems he want to do good, but takes weird unnecessary decisions after weird unnecessary decisions that in most cases fucks over other islanders more than it helps, and the important thing to remember is that he is not doing that purposefully, again it seems he is lost, it feels like he doesn't know what he is doing, because of that people are more wary of him, and it leads him to become more paranoïd and he makes even more bad decisions, wich leads to more people being wary of him and it creates a vicious feedback loop that constantly raises the tension. (also having the big PRESIDENT sign next to his name creates an epidermic reaction in every french that makes us want a revolution /j) And it's so sad because the only exit I can see is for the tension to be released in an explosion, a revolution, and THAT could be interesting because for once neither side is truly evil per say. They can be misguided, but not outright evil. Like Baghera said herself "I... I don't understand where he is going."

What's terrifying is what we foresaw with the election is happening, the islanders are driving themselves apart and turning against each other. I don't think the Federation wants to avoid a revolution, I'm pretty sure they would be rooting for it.

(HOWEVER next time I see someone saying q!Forever is this perfect little guy that did nothing wrong... PLEASE. The guy was vicious during the election arc. With how much misinformation he spread on Etoiles most notably.)

Si, otra vez no hay receta. Voy a tener que cambiar el tema del blog. La verdad es que últimamente me apetece contaros cosas, aunque no tengan que ver con la cocina...o en este caso sí.

Desde hace unos años sigo el movimiento denominado "zero waste" en Europa y Estados Unidos. El primer vídeo que vi fué el de Lauren Singer de "Trash is for tossers" en una charla de TEDxTeen. En él explica porqué ha decidido llevar este estilo de vida. Ella era una estudiante de medioambiente, un día se dió cuenta de la cantidad de basura que se generaba a diario en su clase y en ese momento, tal y como ella cuenta, decidió dar un giro de 180º a su vida. Esas son las cosas que hacen que te plantees qué tipo de vida llevas y qué tipo de vida quieres llevar. Por si no os lo había contado antes, soy bióloga. Evidentemente, siempre me ha interesado el planeta en el que vivo, pero me ha costado mucho llegar al punto en el que me encuentro hoy en día, ese punto en el que eres consciente de lo que haces, produces y consumes. Todo sucedió poco después de decidir cambiar radicalmente mi forma de alimentación. La verdad es que no tenía ningún sentido dejar de consumir determinados productos por amor a los animales y al medio ambiente y seguir consumiendo plástico de forma indiscriminada, o de generar basura, como si esta se fuera a desintegrar mágicamente. Las pasadas navidades me regalaron el libro de Bea Johnson, "Zero Waste Home". Fue entonces cuando fuí plenamente consciente de lo absudo que es el ser humano, y de que en lugar de caminar hacia delante, parece que vamos hacia atrás. Me explico.

Recuerdo ir a la compra con mi abuela y llevar bolsas de rejilla o tela, estas últimas eran para el pan. Recuerdo como en la frutería pesaban el producto y lo ponías directamente en el carro de la compra. En caso de que se tratara de algún producto frágil, hacían un cucurucho de papel y lo ponian dentro. En la carnicería y la pescadería todo se envolvía en papel y luego, en el caso del pescado, ponían papel de periódico por fuera. Las bolsas de plástico que estaban en casa, terminaban siendo la "bolsa de la basura". En mi casa, en la terraza tendedero, había una caja que contenía los "cascos" de las bebidas que se consumían. La leche venía en botellas de cristal que también se retornaban (menos cuando estábamos en San Esteban, que se la comprábamos a la Sra. Rosa y llevabamos un puchero). El caso es que siempre se ha usado el método "zero waste", aunque no fueramos conscientes de ello...pero en algún momento, todos fuimos muy modernos y nos volvimos idiotas. Ahora todo tiene que ir envuelto en plástico. Tiendas que tienen una coliflor o el brócoli envuelto (os recomiendo buscar en las redes sociales #desnudalafruta). Todos tenemos que beber café en unos vasos absurdos y a poder ser con una pajita o tapa de plástico. Todos tenemos que llevar encima una botella de agua, que cuando vaciamos termina en la papelera. Cuando celebramos algo en casa, toda la vajilla tiene que ser de plástico o papel plastificado, porque si usamos el menaje de cristal o loza hay que fregar (o poner el lavavajillas 😱). Si vamos a por el pan, necesitamos que lo pongan en una bolsa de papel y luego otra de plástico. Cuando compramos, ya no tenemos tiempo de ir a las tiendas de barrio, ahora vamos a grandes superficies y todo tiene que estar empaquetado en bandejas de poliespan, porque así es más fácil jugar al Tetris en la nevera. Bien, pues todo esto se nos ha ido de las manos, pero de una manera que ahora son los gobiernos los que están tomando decisiones, para que dejemos de consumir de esa manera tan absurda. En fin, no quiero ser demagoga, ni dar clases de nada a nadie, pero a estas alturas de la película o cambiamos nuestros hábitos o nos vamos al garete.

Mi bolso ha evolucionado como los juegos de los niños. Ahora llevo una bolsa de tela y dentro de esta otras dos más pequeñas, por lo que surja...llevo un pequeño estuche con pajitas de metal y cubiertos...pañuelos de tela...depende de lo que tenga que hacer llevo una botella de agua de aluminio o un vaso termo.

Siempre que salimos, en caso de que sea inevitable generar plástico o papel, no lo tiro a la papelera, busco un contenedor adecuado. En casa estamos volviendo a las viejas costumbres. Usamos manteles y servilletas de tela, de esas de toda la vida. No tengo rollo de papel de cocina, tengo trapos, que se lavan cuando es necesario. No uso papel film transparente, uso "Bees Wrap" un papel encerado, o mejor, pongo un plato encima de la fuente que meto en la nevera. La fruta y verdura se compra en la frutería del barrio, llevamos nuestras bolsas de tela. Compro la leche para mis hijas en una lechería. Llevo mis botellas de vidrio o si no puedo, voy al supermercado y la compro en botellas de cristal (que luego uso para la lechería o para guardar líquidos en la nevera).

En la lechería también venden a granel horchata y yogur. ¡Todo un hallazgo! La pasta, arroces, legumbres, cereales y frutos secos también a granel, en bolsas de tela o botes de cristal.

Los pocos refrescos o bebidas que entran en casa lo hacen en botellas de cristal y si no es posible en latas. La poca carne o pescado que consumen, se compran en la carnicería y pescadería del barrio y se bajan envases para no tener que usar el papel plastificado que dan ellos. Tal vez estéis pensando que estoy loca. En ningún momento he dicho que no siga generando basura y plástico, pero intento hacerlo cada vez menos. Vamos dando pasos poco a poco. Al principio se sacaba una bolsa de plástico a diario. El primer objetivo fué sacarla cada 3 días, luego cada semana...ahora estamos tratando de sacar la "bolsa amarilla" cada mes.  Esa es la idea, creo yo. El ser conscientes de lo que nos estamos jugando. Si intentamos recordar como se hacían las cosas hace unos años, veremos que es más fácil de lo que creemos...sólo hay que tener ganas. Os animo a que, en la medida de vuestras posibilidades, intentéis sacar de vuestras vidas esos residuos que se generan sin necesidad...ya me contaréis. Del tema del consumo en ropa, cosméticos, productos de limpieza y demás, ya hablaremos en otro momento.

For a few years I have been following the movement called "zero waste" in Europe and the United States. The first video I saw was Lauren Singer's "Trash is for tossers" in a TEDxTeen talk. In it she explains why she has decided to take this lifestyle. She was an environmental student. One day she realized the amount of garbage that was generated daily in hes class. At that moment she decided to change her life. Those are the things that make you wonder what kind of life you lead and what kind of life you want to lead. In case I had not told you before, I'm a biologist. Obviously, I have always been interested in the planet I live on, but it has been hard for me to reach the point where I am today, that point where you are aware of what you do, produce and consume.   Everything happened shortly after deciding to radically change my diet. The truth is that it made no sense to stop using certain products for the love of animals and the environment and continue using plastic indiscriminately, or generating garbage, as if this were to magically disintegrate. Last Christmas I was given the book by Bea Johnson, "Zero Waste Home". It was then when I was fully aware of how absud is the human being, and that instead of walking forward, we seem to be going backwards. I explain.

  I remember going shopping with my grandmother and carrying cloth bags. I remember how in the greengrocer they weighed the product and put it directly in the shopping cart. In case it was a fragile product, they made a paper cone and put it inside.In the butcher shop and the fish market everything was wrapped in paper and then, in the case of fish, they put newspaper on the outside. The plastic bags that were at home ended up being the "garbage bag". In my house, on the drying terrace, there was a box that contained the "returnable glass bottles" of the drinks that were consumed.  The milk came in glass bottles that were also returned (except when we were in San Esteban, we bought Mrs. Rosa's milk and we carried a pot). The fact is that the "zero waste" method has always been used, even if we were not aware of it ... but at some point, we were all very modern and we became idiots. Now everything has to be wrapped in plastic (those stores that have a cauliflower or broccoli wrapped). We all have to drink coffee in some absurd glasses with a straw or plastic lid. We all have to carry a bottle of water, which when we empty it ends up in the bin. When we celebrate something at home, all the diches has to be made of plastic or plasticized paper, because if we use the glassware or crockery we have to mop (or put the dishwasher 😱). If we go for bread, we need to put it in a paper bag and then another plastic bag. When we buy, we no longer have time to go to corner shops, now we go to supermarket chains and everything has to be packed in poliespan trays, because that makes it easier to play Tetris in the fridge.  Well, all this has gotten out of hand, but in a way that now governments are making decisions, so we stop consuming in that absurd way. Anyway, I do not want to be a demagogue, nor give classes of anything to anyone, but at this point of the movie or change our habits or we go to hell.

My bag has evolved like children's games. Now I carry a cloth bag and inside this other two smaller...I carry a small case with metal straws and cutlery...cloth handkerchiefs...it depends on what I have to do I bring an aluminum water bottle or a cup.

Whenever we leave, in case it is inevitable to generate plastic or paper, I do not throw it in the wastebasket, I look for a suitable container. At home we are going back to the old ways. We use cloth tablecloths and napkins. I do not have paper roll, I have rags, which are washed when necessary. I do not use plastic wrap, I use "Bees Wrap", waxed paper, or better, I put a plate on top of the dish that I put in the fridge. The fruit and vegetables are bought in the greengrocer, we carry our cloth bags. I buy milk for my daughters in a dairy. I carry my glass bottles or if I can not, I go to the supermarket and buy it in glass bottles (which I then use for the dairy or to store liquids in the fridge).

In the dairy they also sell bulk horchata and yogurt. Pasta, rice, legumes, cereals and nuts also in bulk, in cloth bags or glass jars.

The few soft drinks or drinks that enter the house do so in glass bottles and if it is not possible in cans. The little meat or fish that they consume, they buy in the butcher shop and fishmonger and containers are lowered to not have to use the plasticized paper that they give them.  Maybe you're thinking that I'm crazy. At no time have I said that I do not continue to generate garbage and plastic, but I try to do it less and less. We are taking steps little by little. At the beginning a plastic bag was taken out daily. The first objective was to take it out every 3 days, then every week...now we are trying to get the "yellow bag" every month. That's the idea, I think. Being aware of what we are playing and realizing that things are much easier than we think. If we try to remember how things were done a few years ago, we will see that it is easier than we think...you just have to feel like it. I encourage you, to the extent of your possibilities, to try to take out of your lives those waste that are generated without necessity...you will tell me.  The issue of consumption in clothing, cosmetics, cleaning products and others, we'll talk later.

Taking a deep breath Quackity turned back around, shaking his head. “No. No you didn’t hurt anyone. Alright. I’ll recap what I saw.”

It took a few silent moments to get into words how to describe what went down without acting like a jack ass about it. “So, I was with Gegg. That was the kid you remember seeing. I was drawing with him to get some ideas for his room in Charlie’s when you popped into the doorway. We bitched at each other and you asked me about Tilin and anything I have that he made.” That felt awkward to mention, but it did inspire him to ask about Tilin to Cucurucho.

“Gegg was concerned. Nova was concerned about me and about you. They made a little chirp and you heard. Like you said, you gave them a test and you thought something was wrong. I stepped in because you got defensive real quick and I had her go back in the room. You ran saying things about if Dapper was okay and shit so I followed.

“Then you were just in the floor. You started telling someone to stop, and at first I was giving you space cause you don’t like me, but you got sick so I started trying to talk to you. I had Mariana get Phil and Charlie check on Gegg.” Quackity rubbed the back of his neck. He wasn’t sure who this part would be worse for, him, or Chayanne. He was the one who heard it, it was probably worse for someone to have said it and to hear it.

“You mistook me for someone else. You didn’t hurt anything besides Charlie’s floor, I guess you thought you saw something behind me and pushed me out of the way and did.. an ice thing. At that point I was freaking the fuck out and just held you. You started asking me if I knew where the other kids were and went on to ask if I could promise you to keep them safe. After I did that you knocked the fuck out.”

Quackity really hoped he said that right, at least, he wanted to tell Chayanne objectively what happened first. The best his memory could offer of the event. “Chayanne, honestly? You didn’t do anything wrong. You were just feeling like shit. You didn’t hurt any of us.” Physically, Gegg definitely wasn’t the best after that, but he wasn’t going to say that to Chayanne yet. “And me crying? That.. I really shouldn’t have done that. But I just freaked out for- a lot of reasons. So. That’s what happened. Any questions?”

This night had been one of the most mixed experiences in Quackity’s life he decided. Way too much had happened for his liking, he realizes. He would have just liked to have good fashioned flirting even with the roster he had been dealt but no. He instead gets things such as asking for his deceased child, planning a playdate, realizing he described Mariana and Charlie as one of his types, comforting Bad, and planning a murder.

Right now? Walking Philza home was his nightmare. Platform heels do NOT go good with walking a drunk man home. He wanted to visit Phil’s place anyway to check in on Chayanne (and to do the funniest thing in history) but it really was a challenge now. Phil was absolutely out of it drunk and somehow he just kept getting more and more alcohol even when Cucurucho put him back in the VIP section. How? He didn’t know.

The worst part of this experience was getting up the wall with Phil. He decided to use the entrance in Roier’s old bar to make it easier, but that was a challenge in itself getting Phil to climb the ladder. Why did he build on the fucking wall? Why? For sure Phil didn’t consider the terrible situation he has now put Quackity in.

Quackity didn’t really come up to Phil’s home often. Really, it was only for Tallulah. Even now his old habits wanted to take advantage of the situation but he shook them off as he approached the door.

Phil keeps his shit locked. Right. He’s not getting in here, not without a key or someone inside. Judging the way Phil is right now he’s stuck with the latter. Maybe Missa was here watching the kids or something?

Quackity took his chances and knocked. “Hello! Someone home? I’ve got a delivery and he’s about to deliver himself off the cliff!”
