I think the 2 closest things I have to New Years resolutions this year is that I want a new tattoo and I want to try and learn Dutch. Tattoo because they look sick as fuck, and I want to learn Dutch for a few reason’s: 1) I am Dutch but growing up on the west coast of Canada with parents also born here, English is my first and only language (embarrassing when you consider more than half my elementary school was bilingual or polyglot)

2) The relatives over in Holland have an open invitation for me to come and stay a few weeks to see where my family is from and also have a connection to my distant family

but mostly

3) I work in retail (and still wear a mask) and have listen to conspiracy theorists and far-right lecturing me and not.. fucking... shutting.... up all god damn day. So I want to be able to pull a “no speak English” when I don’t want to speak to strangers in my free time

so much matty recently i cant help but miss ross and readers little family sorry i don’t have any actual like prompts but…what do you think they’ve been up to? went on a summer holiday? took the kids on tour for a bit since they don’t have school? idk

i am overdue for another ross fic i really am!! i do have an ideas document though so i'll pick one from that and write it over the next couple of weeks. but in the meantime... i think the kids were at fins!! keir has just turned five (he's starting school after the summer and you and ross are Emo about it. your baby!) and he's football daft, so he spent most of the day playing with anyone backstage who was up for it - giggling at the thought of him getting so hyped about american football the band and asking them to join him (a couple of them did!) lol - and only taking a break to watch george (his fave in the same way matty is eilidh's fave) drum for the japanese house. ross having his hair down for the first part of the show was actually because of keir and football; adam chose violence and was like "keir you're a much better footballer than your dad ever was lol", and ross got actually genuinely offended and was like "no? you're lying, hann", and adam was like "prove it then. penalties. loser has to do a forfeit". so the macdonald boys had a little face off and made forfeits for each other - ross immediately went into full dad mode and went "if i win you have to eat all your peas at dinner" and keir gasped in total horror lol, and then he was like "i can't think of one", so eilidh chimed in from the side like "keir!! if you win dad has to wear his hair down for a bit onstage tonight", to which you were like "YES genius my girl!" lol. anyway, jamie squire offered to be in goal for best of five, and everyone gathered round to watch ross miss one of them and keir score every single one; ross grit his teeth after it, but then smiled and hugged his boy in congratulations, and obv took his hair down for the opening of the show (which you were JAZZED about lol).

eilidh was a few days' shy of turning seven during fins, and she actually spent most of her time with you at the side watching everyone perform throughout the day, soaking up the music like a little sponge just as she's done since she was a baby. during the "boring ones" (her words), she traipsed back to see everyone else; patti showed her all the band's outfits for the show and styled her in some of the accessories for a bit lol, she had a LENGTHY conversation with jack antonoff about the piano lessons she's just started and also taylor swift (eilidh is a fearless stan), and she sat for ages with amber and her little dog asking loads of questions about the dog lol. she's trying to convince ross to let her get a dog, and thinks that compiling a fact file of dog information and pictures is the way to convince him she'd be a responsible dog owner (your genetics, tbh) - nobody except she and you and keir and now amber know about it, though, because if matty found out his honorary little sister wanted a dog he would literally just buy her one lmao. speaking of matty, he spent a large part of cigarettes after sex's set walking around backstage with eilidh in his arms as if she was still tiny, talking nonsense to her and getting hugs; when he put her down and chatted to you, he was like "she's very calming, that daughter of yours. takes after her mum lol", and then you and the kids got roped into hugs for everyone pre-gig. v v cute <3

Eisuke’s favorite animal is an Owl! He thinks theyre super cute and those are probably the only videos hes seen online.

Eisuke is so disconnected from tech outside cameras and basics online. He probably has a flip phone.

Eisuke likes cats and dogs but prefers dogs a bit more

This is more an ooc fact but when i first made eisuke luke misheard me and called him acegay so i sometimes say that joke to myself

His family is pretty average; Mom- Yuriko, Dad-Hotaka, and his lil bro Yuusuke [the name was from a friend who heard the previously mentioned joke- Yousgay orz]

What is his sexuality? He doesn’t think about it much. He’s too wrapped up in work to really consider it. Confused as shit basically.

A decent cook! Mainly simple foods honestly but he’s not bad at it! Used to making ‘on the go’ food since he spends so much time away from home. 

He speaks Japanese [obvs] and some very basic Chinese and English. Mainly business terms and such- travel and online communication of course. He could never hold a real conversation.

IF u cant tell from his blog’s background his fav season is fall. It’s really gorgeous in japan and he adores taking pictures of it. Not that he hates the others, but it’s especially pretty. 

Eisuke can and will sleep anywhere. He’s probably slept in a tree at least once. 

Eisuke has no idea why people think freckles are cute. He is a mess w/ them everywhere he just thinks theyre normal. 

Eisuke is HORRENDOUS at strategy games of any kind. Kick his ass at chess.

How does his hair do the shit it does? Who knows! Eisuke thinks it looks cool. But really its just another joke cause i thought he looked like a Tales of Character and i was too attached to it. He likes it though.

Eisuke almost exclusively wears hiking boots. He’s rough on his shoes and they stand up to stupid shit.

HE always /always/ carries his camera w/ him. 

Along w/ that he’s got a lil pocket notepad too. Always prepared.

Theres like. No animals i can think of that Eisuke hates. He’s a child who loves all animals. 

Music! Uh well considering his limited time w/ stuff he only listens to things that are what his family or classmates listen to. He doesn’t really look music up on his own. Opposite of me living on music orz

Eisuke is both a morning person and a night owl- it really dpeends on the situation. He loves the early mornings- reason below- but he also likes the nighttime.

Loves sunrises ! Thinks they are super pretty and a fair amoutn of his pictures are those.

Tarot wise- Strength i  feel. I may b bad at tarot but hikaru makes me pay attention

eisuke has never had alcohol. hes stuck on rules and wont drink till hes 20.

Colorwise... stylish blue actually. Green is liked but well . blue is the fav

Gets really invested in shit he watches, so much so he tends to not really watch much of anything
