Friendly face
A/N: Aaron Hotchner, thank you for being there when our fathers weren’t 🙏🙏
Pairing: Aaron Hotchner x Fem!Receptionist!Reader.
Summary: The higher ups decided that the BAU needed their own reception area so that visitors and the agents had their own friendly face whenever they come back from a case. Hotch already has a soft spot for her.
Word Count: 741
Warnings: just a little fluff for my first Hotch fic, because receptionist!reader and Hotch makes me feral
Part 2!!
Tumblr media
When they first told her that she’d be moved from the normal reception to a special one being made for her up in the BAU, she thought that she’d been sent a spam email. Laughing it off and getting back to her baking.
Until her boss escorted her up to her new desk the next morning.
Thankfully, all her belongings had been boxed up by other staff, and had already been moved up in boxes for her to unpack.
Her days were long, and she was routinely one of the first people in the building, which meant she had more than enough time to sort through her boxes before any of the actual team turned up for the first time.
Apparently they’d had a few issues with people getting in that weren’t the most savoury of characters. So she was moved up as an extra layer of protection before the public were allowed into the bullpen. But being on the same floor as profilers wasn’t going to stop her from decorating as she always had.
Besides, she didn’t have to share this desk with anyone, so she got the entire space to decorate herself.
Putting her box of biscuits, made and decorated the night before, on the top of the desk, she got to work. Getting into her own little world as she sorted out the boring bits first. Putting away important files she always needed to have on hand, and setting up the monitor to make sure all the information worked to let people in.
Eventually, thankfully, she got to the more fun aspects of her unpacking.
A lilac notebook, a collection of glittery pens (that, sadly, still had to be black ink), a sweet bowl since she knows how many agents have kids, and a plush lilac blanket over the back of her chair. She runs cold, and will have that over her lap if she starts to freeze.
Just as she started to unload her pretty, pastel post-it notes, there was a voice from beyond the desk.
“Are these for us?”
She shot up, hand going to her chest, thankfully also somewhat startling the man in front of her desk. At least she recognised him, SSA Aaron Hotchner, she’d been the one to sign him in most days when she worked downstairs.
Giving him a small smile as she leant over to pop the lid, the smell of shortbread biscuits immediately hitting the area and making them both hungry.
“Of course, sir, and since you’re the first here, you can have two.”
Her original shock lessened as she smiled up at the man, who did immediately take two biscuits for himself. He’d never say no to her baking again - it had made her upset and she hadn’t spoken to him for three days.
“You don’t need to call me sir, not now we work together. It’s good to have you on the floor.”
“It’s good to be here.” Smiling nervously as she shifted into her chair, the clock telling her that more people were going to start coming in soon. “I can only deal with Maria’s constant bad date stories before I go mad.”
There was that small smile on his face, one she’d seen very few times, but still made her all warm and gooey whenever she did. Brushing her hair back behind her ear and glancing away to boot up the monitor for the morning.
Looking back at him one last time, just to catch him sneaking a sweet from the pot, not even stopping when she caught him. Shoving it into his pocket and stepping away a little.
“I’ll stop by later on, make sure you’re settled.”
He nodded, as if he’d do that for anyone else, and she smiled. God. He could drown in her smile.
But as he went to walk off, she waved a hand for his attention, neither of them noticing Spencer coming through the elevator doors, freezing at seeing the interaction between them. Not sure what to make of the smile on his Unit Chief's face.
“I’ll save a biscuit, so you can take one home to Jack. I’ll sign you in, go on, you workaholic.”
Accepting and returning his little wave until she turned back to her desk with a stupidly daft smile on her face. Which she didn’t even try to dampen when she spotted Spencer, beckoning him forward.
“Morning Doctor, have a biscuit, I’ll sign you in.”

─────────────────────────────────────
Pairing : Barista! Yunho x fem! Reader Summary : Working as a barista at the cafe > Illusion < was one of the best decisions ever you wanted to believe. But that one customer made it really hard.. On top your co worker Yunho was attractive as no one else.. Word count : 7.2K Words Genre/Warning : Fluff, Angst, Comfort - Stalking (not Yunho), panic, protective Yunho, almost SA a/n : Read a few Barista AUs recently and got this idea like omg- Tho idk how well I wrote this, I feel like it's one of my not so well writte storys sadly..
─────────────────────────────────────
The moment you joined Illusion as a barista you were happy for this decision. Mr Kim, he told you to call him Hongjoong on your first day at work, was an amazing boss. Seonghwa, as his manager, was a great help, too; whenever you had problems, you could go to one of them. Your coworkers were super sweet, too; Jongho and Yeosang were in charge of the kitchen in the back for pastries and other small snacks. While San, Mingi, Wooyoung, Yunho, and you worked in the front, Mingi and Wooyoung only being servers, while the other three of you worked as both baristas and servers.
Even the customers were nice most of the time, and even if someone ended up being rude to you, one of the boys stepped in to protect you and calmly explained to the customer to kindly not talk to staff like that. And most of the time, it was Yunho standing beside or in front of you, a big, warm hand on your shoulder or the small of your back.
Though this whole ordeal started when a new customer entered the cafe, maybe around his late thirties, he was definitely older than you. His appearance was unruly and a bit chaotic, but nothing too bad; you had seen worse. Always ordering the same drink and muffin, sitting in the far right back of the cafe in the same booth every time. At first, it seemed normal; you often had regulars like this, coming every day, ordering the same, and sitting in the same spot, for many, a kind of daily ritual. But it started to get weird when San told you that man only ever comes when you're on shift; when it was San with someone else alone, he never visited, this should've alarmed you, but you shock it off as simply coincidence.
"Good morning!" Wooyoungs voice booms from behind the counter as you enter through the cafe's front door. Greeting him back with a smile, you move to the back, opening your locker to put your bag away and get your apron. It's a cute simple one in your favorite color with a few pins and buttons. Hongjoong gave everyone freedom with how to decorate their aprons to make them extra individual. Yunho walks by while you put your apron on, opening his locker beside you. "Morning Yunho!" Smiling at him brightly before closing your locker as he greets you back before making your way to the front, joining Wooyoung.
It was a Saturday, that's why three of you were working at the front, San joining later in the evening when rush hour started. Seonghwa helping out in the kitchen for the day because Jongho called in sick.
The day was going smoothly so far; Wooyoung serving most of the tables while you and Yunho worked on preparing orders and doing the To-Gos.
A shrill ring of the bell could be heard, heavy footsteps came to a halt at the register. Setting on your customer smile, you greet the known man before you. Smile straining just a slight bit upon seeing the man's appearance in front of you. The last time he visited wasn't great, you had declined nicely to him asking for your number, having San step in between the two of you, explaining that your no was final, while Yunho took you to the back to calm down, as the man had become a tad bit louder.
"Good day, sir! What can I get for you today?" You could already feel Yunhos eyes on you from the side, as he was preparing a customer's coffee right now. "I'd like the usual, please. Also, excuse my behavior last time.." His eyes looked shameful, but something in you told you that, deep down, he wasn't. Telling the man you'd get right to it, he sat down in his usual spot, Wooyoung already eyeing him from the table he was currently serving before coming up to you. "You okay? He wasn't weird again right?" Smiling at Wooyoungs worries, you tell him you are fine and that he doesn't have to worry his pretty head about it. Of course, you knew the two men were still worried but decided not to say anything about it.
Silently preparing the man's order, noticing you were short on strawberry shortcakes, noting it down in your brain to tell Yeosang. Placing everything on the tray, you call over to Wooyoung to bring the order to the table, as you luckily had a new customer to take care of, not having to deal with the man again right now. It creeped you out, to say the least, how he always knew which shifts you worked and which not. "Hey, if you need a moment, go take a break; I got this under control." Yunho whispered softly in your ear, you didn't even notice how he had come up behind you in the first place. "Maybe you're right; I'll just quickly get water and then be back!" A small blush rises on your cheeks as you excuse yourself to the back, entering the kitchen.
Looking at Yeosang with a soft smile, before Seonghwa greeted you, his face full of flour. "Everything all right?" Seonghwa always seemed so worried for everyone, it was really charming. "Yeah, just that weird customer is back, and I just needed a second; Yunho said it's alright." Grabbing a glass now, you pour some tap water into it before taking a big gulp. "Did he say something weird again? Did he get louder again?" Seonghwa immediately cleaned his hands on a towel before approaching you, softly wiping a loose strand of hair behind your ear, he really was like a big brother to everyone. "No, he actually apologized, but it still creeps me out how he's always only here on my shifts, but maybe I'm just being too nervous.." Seonghwa softly nodded, understanding your concerns, telling you to immediately come to him or Hongjoong when something like last time happens again.
After taking a second to gather yourself, you put the glass away before joining Yunho at the front again, noticing the man gone. "He just left. He asked for you to ring him up, but I told him you were on break. Seriously, what's with this guy." Wooyoung explained to you while leaning on the counter, you were glad he was gone before you came back. The rest of the day, luckily, went smoothly till closing hours; everyone cleaned the cafe before exiting through the backdoor. "I'll walk with you a bit, I need some things from the convenience store." Yunho nodded in the direction of your apartment, making you nod, waving goodbye to the others.
The walk was rather quiet; it was past 11 pm right now, deciding to also go with Yunho to grab a quick snack, sitting down at one of the tables. "Any plans for tomorrow?" Yunho was munching on his onigiri right now as he looked over at you, shaking your head softly. "Not really, probably just gonna watch my show and chill." Taking a piece of your gimbap into your mouth now. "I see; San mentioned wanting to hang out again with everyone; maybe we can do that next week." Yunho mumbles, crumbling the paper from his Onigiri together before throwing it away, something outside the window catching his eye. "Sure, I missed those team days!" Smiling at Yunho now, your smile slowly faltered when you noticed he wasn't listening and rather focused on something outside, but it was so dark already that you could barely see anything. "Yunho? You okay?" Shaking his shoulder softly, he finally looks over at you, the usual soft look on his face gone replaced by something harder. "Yeah, let's go; I'll bring you home; I have a weird feeling." Standing up confused now at why he changed so quickly and what he saw outside.
Yet you still followed Yunho outside, who grabbed your hand in his and pulled you along now, looking behind him from time to time. His behavior was slowly making you anxious, looking around now and back at Yunho again. "Yunho, I'm a bit scared. What's happening?" Looking at the man beside you worried and anxious, he gives you a soft smile. "Don't worry Tiny, I'm with you; I just got a weird feeling, is all." His hand softly stroked your hair before entering your apartment complex and leading you to your apartment.
"So uhm.. thanks for bringing me home Yuyu.." Your hands were fidgeting with the keys in your pocket now, pulling them out and turning to open your door. "So see you-" Before you could finish your sentence as you opened your door, Yunho pushed you inside and closed the door again. "Yunho?" By now, your body was trembling; he was acting so strangely that it for real scared you. "Let me stay the night; we got followed by some person all the way here; I'm worried they'll approach once I leave. Hey, it's alright. I'm here." Yunho slowly approaches your trembling figure, pulling you into a soft hug as your legs give out now from the anxiety and Yunho softly guides you to the floor, sitting down with you.
Your body pressed flush against Yunhos, and as your hands gripped the back of his hoodie tightly, you were scared to the core. What does he mean followed till here? Who followed you? Who was that crazy? Tears were slowly obstructing your vision as a violent sob left your lips, Yunhos's right arm coming around your waist and his left hand softly patting and stroking your hair. He was trying his best to calm you down at this moment; he imagined how scared you must be, and he was, too. Scared of the thought, what could have happened if he didn't notice and let you go alone, if you didn't tag along to the convenience store in the first place, all those possibilities swarming his head, making his grip on you tighten.
"Let's get you to bed mh? It'll be fine; I'm here; no one can harm you." Guiding you to stand up from the floor again, Yunho lets you lead him to your bedroom. Turning his back to you so you can get changed before putting the blanket over you after you lay down. "I'll stay in the living room; if something goes wrong, come or call me." Just as he was about to turn away, you softly reached over to grab his hand, shaking your head. "Please stay here.. I don't want to be alone." Looking at Yunho with pleading eyes, he nods, taking a seat on the floor beside your bed, leaning his back against it, his hand now resting in yours as his head softly rests on the edge of your bed. "Thank you.." Looking at him softly, before closing your eyes and falling into a quick sleep feeling safe with Yunho here.
After making sure you were asleep, he quietly gets up, leaves the room, and, taking your keys, approaches the door of your apartment. Exiting through the door, he locks the door from outside before checking the corridor and both ends of it, including taking a look into the staircase and elevators. Yunho was so sure he saw someone following you two, maybe it was just his mind playing a trick. Going back to your apartment now, he locks the door from the inside again before joining you in the bedroom again, taking his previous spot again, his hand finding yours as he watches you calmly sleep, before falling asleep himself.
"Yuyu.." Softly shaking his shouldet now as his eyes slowly open, taking a look around before rubbing his eyes. "Morning.." He grumbles in his deep sleepdriven voice; it sounded rather cute, with his disheveled hair on just the side he used to lay his head on your bed. Sitting up now, your eyes move to your window, the sun shining through the curtains, you were glad the night went on without problems and that Yunho had stayed with you. "Do you want breakfast? I can make us something as a thank you for staying with me!" Jumping out of your bed now, you open the soft white curtains, letting the sun in fully, making Yunho groan and hide his face in the blanket. "Sorry, Yuyu, I'll get ready real quick, and then I'll make pancakes." Smoothing down his hair softly before rushing to your bathroom, getting dressed in something fresh, and freshening yourself up a little bit, soon joining Yunho in the kit, Chen, who was trying to make a coffee but failing. "Sit down, I'll make you one." Pushing him to the two high chairs now that were against your kitchen aisle, as you get worked on a coffee for him and the pancake batter.
"Do you think it was someone dangerous..?" Your soft voice speaks up, preparing the coffee for him, with some sugar and milk just how he likes it, before handing it to him. "I hope not, but I don't know; I also thought maybe it was my imagination,n, but.. it felt too real." Wanting to be honest with you, Yunho tells you his thoughts as you go back to making the pancakes. Maybe some friends tried to prank you? But that would be a fucked up prank, honestly. A stalker? Who would stalk you, though? "Hey, tiny, don't get too much in your head about it, I'm pretty sure it's safe; maybe I was just imagining things." Yunho tries to calm you, making you nod as you place two plates on the counter. "Thank you again for staying, really." Assuring you that it was fine, you two got to eat your breakfast, before bidding your goodbye to Yunho and getting started with your day.
Doing your household chores, the day goes by rather quickly; watching some shows and listening to some music while cleaning, you're glad the day goes by smoothly without any problems. Until in the evening when you just got ready for bed. Hearing the doorbell, your heart starts beating louder, you weren't expecting anyone at this hour. Walking over to the door slowly, you open it just a split, seeing no one; your eyes fall to the floor where a teddy bear and roses lay, a note attached to it. This scared you to no end, so you ended up slamming the door shut again and locking it quickly before scrambling to get your phone, trying to call Yunho, but it went straight to voicemail.
"Okay don't panic.. Mingi.." Calling Mingi next, he and Yunho were roommates, so maybe he could help you. "Hey! Wassup?!" Mingis's booming voice answered you, hearing Yunho and Wooyoung fight in the background over some video game, probably. "Mingi.. Can you please quickly give me Yunho..?" Hearing the anxiety in your voice, Mingi quickly hands Yunho the phone with some hushed whispers. "Sweetheart? You okay?" Listening to Yunhos concerned voice you finally broke down, sobbing yet again. "S-Someone put stuff in front of my door and.. I'm so scared; I'm too scared to read the note. Yunho, please get me out of here.." Crying to the man on the phone now, you can already hear him get up to put his shoes and coat on, and the jiggle of keys could also be heard. "Tiny, stay on the phone with Mingi till I'm there, okay? Be there soon." Handing the phone back to Mingi, Yunho leaves the apartment for his car to get you.
As promised, he arrived quickly, ignoring the creepy gifts for now as he hugged you softly before rushing you to pack some stuff for some night. Meanwhile, he put on some gloves and read the creepy letter, shivering from how strangely it was written, without thinking he threw everything into the garbage before leading you to his car. "I threw the stuff away; better be safe than sorry; seriously, this is getting too much; if this continues, we'll call the police." Yunho was furious; who in their right mind would think this was the way to voe a woman? That's sick, Yunho thought as he drove you back to his and Mingi's apartment. Wooyoung immediately rushed over to hug you tightly and ask if you were fine or hurt.
Beside being exhausted you tell Wooyoung you're fine as Yunho leads you to his room. "I'll sleep in the living room; we're still playing some games; get ready and join us if you want." Patting your head softly, he leaves you alone to settle down and have some quiet moments for yourself.
You were just so thankful for Yunho and the others right now. Sitting down on the soft bed now, you take a look around; his room was rather tidy and bright, fitting for his personality, A lot of frames were hung up on the wall, many of him and Mingi, someone with the whole Illusion staff and then your eyes stop at a certain picture. Standing up to look at it better, you can't help but smile; it was a picture taken at the last Illusion anniversary; Yunho was hugging you from behind, both of you smiling brightly into the camera as Wooyoung shows a little piece sign in the back. Seonghwa took that picture, saying it shows how well everyone works together here.
Looking around a bit more, Yunho had a few tall bookshelves with books, movies, and a lot of video games, his desk space being mostly occupied by his gaming setup; noticing the little figure you gifted him for his birthday; how cute that he set it up there. His room had a big window front, fairy lights hanging all around the window, and his ceiling. On his bed, a few plushies reside, one you remember San gifting him the last time you guys went out to the arcade, saying he had too many and Yunho had to adopt this one now. That's also how he got the other two resting on his bed.
Deciding you looked around enough, you switch into some comfortable sleepwear again; your eyes fall onto Yunhos hoodie draped over his chair; he wouldn't mind, right? Without a second thought, you pulled the hoodie over your frame before joining the boys in the living room; San also joined now. "Hey tin..y.." Yunho started, his voice trailing off when he saw you in his hoodie, making Wooyoung laugh as he won in Mario Kart and making Mingi scream at Yunho because he had now lost a bet to San. "Hope you don't mind, I was a bit cold." Sitting down beside Yunho now, he shakes his head, trying to take his eyes off of you now; he barely could with how cute you looked.
The evening went by quickly; Wooyoung and San bid their goodbye as you retreated back to Yunhos' room after he got changed to sleep. He turned on the fairy lights for you so it wouldn't be too dark; settling down in the big bed now, you grab the plush cat San made him adopt, cuddling close to it. Enveloped by Yunhos you fall asleep feeling safe and sound.
So that your stay at Yunhos and Mingis place started, you decided to make breakfast every day for the three of you as a thank you for letting you stay there. Working on some eggs and bacon, just like some fried rice. "Woah that smells so good, better than Yunhos cooking!" Getting hit on the arm, Mingi sits down at the table, sulking, whining about why Yunho had hit him. "But he's right, smells good, thank you tiny." Yunho patd your head before helping set the table and preparing some hot chocolate. "What shift are you working today?" Mingis's voice asks, slurping happily on his hot chocolate before diving into his homemade meal. "Afternoon shift, San will do the evening after me." Nodding, Mingi lets out a sigh because he got the evening shift, sulking because he won't work alongside you today. "And I'm off work today, so I'll cook dinner," Yunho announces, making you look forward to trying Yunhos cooking.
Getting ready, you leave the house by noon, walk to the cafe, and greet Wooyoung, who will be working the afternoon shift together with you; putting your apron on; you quickly get to preparing orders and cleaning the cafe tables and dishes. "So you're staying with Yunho and Mingi currently?" Wooyoung looks over to where he is currently cleaning some glasses. "Yeah, after what happened the other day, Yunho insisted I stay at their place for a certain while, which honestly, I'm thankful for; I'm a bit scared at home right now.." Wooyoung nods, totally understanding that you're not feeling safe at home as of right now. "I hope it calms down again, whoever that was, us seriously sick in the head." Complaining Wooyoung takes the orders you prepared and brings them to the correct table.
He was right, whoever that was is entirely sick in the head. Who thinks it's a good idea to follow someone home and then place creepy gifts on their doorstep? Shaking your head, you were just glad Yunho was there for you and still is, same for the other boys. Luckily, your thoughts are silenced when a new customer enters, taking the order and serving them with a smile.
"See you tonight!" Mingi shouts from the back as you leave the cafe after your shift together with Wooyoung; he soon stops at the bus stop, though, his and Sans's dorm is a bit further away than yours or Yunho and Mingis. Knocking you wait for Yunho to open the door, greeting you with a smile, the smell of delicious food hitting your senses. "Woah, it smells amazing, Yunho!" Take off your shoes before following the giant into the kitchen, a soft blush evident on his cheeks. "It's nothing special! Just some meat, rice, vegetables!" Shaking your head, you tell Yunho how delicious the food smells and looks. Excusing yourself quickly to get changed, slipping on some shorts and one of Yunhos hoodies, before joining him on the couch, two plates waiting to be devoured.
"How was the shift today?" Handing you a plate, Yunho puts on one of the many Spiderman movies, taking his own plate before settling comfortably onto the couch beside you. "If you're asking if that guy showed up again, no, he didn't; he hasn't been for a few days now, and honestly, I'm glad." After that, the two of you ate in silence; you quickly washed the dishes before settling down beside Yunho again.
"Thank you for everything, by the way. I don't know what I would do without you or the guys.." Leaning your back against Yunhos side now, he wraps his arm around you softly so you're more leaning on his chest, smiling down at you. "No need to thank me, tiny; it's the least we should do." His hand finds yours nervously fidgeting, holding it while returning his gaze back to the movie. As soon as Mingi got home they decided to play some games before everyone went to bed.
"I'm serious Mingi, my back hurts like shit. We need a guest room at this point." Yunhos gruff morning voice could be heard complaining from the kitchen; looking around the corner, Mingi was trying to massage his back but apparently failing when Yunho winced in pain. "Let me, I've used to massage my mom and siblings." Moving behind Yunho, your hands find his back, starting to massage at the knots in his back, carefully massaging your fingers into his back. "Oh, she's doing better than you, Mingi." Yunho groans in pleasure from the knots being worked away. "We can switch if you want, I can take the couch." Shaking his head, Yunho turns around, leaning against the kitchen counter while looking down at you. "You're our guest; no way will you sleep on the couch, sweets." Blushing slightly at the nickname, you ponder for a second before looking up at Yunho. "We can just share then; the bed is big enough to fit both of us."
Yunhos eyes grow wider, and Mingis grow the biggest as he stares at his best friend from behind you. "I-I mean.. I don't know, if you insist and if you're comfortable with that?" Nodding as an answer, you turn to make yourself some breakfast the sleep situation change being decided. After leaving for the living room to watch the new episode of your anime, Mingi clutches Yunhos's shoulder. "Bro, this is your chance! You've been crushing on her since she joined the team..!" Mingi whispers and yells at his friend, Yunho, a deep red now, shaking his head and pushing Mingis hand away. "She's not in the right mind right now; she's being stalked; I can't take advantage of that right now." Moving into his room quickly to get ready while you're in the living room. Rolling his eyes, Mingi turns to his now burned eggs, letting out an annoyed sigh.
Leaving the house together with Yunho for a shift, it's nice to not be alone and have someone to tag along, normally you're all alone at home and on your way to the cafe.
"Hello, you two! Let's hope for a calm shift!" Seonghwa shouts from the back, waving quickly at you before going back to helping Jongho. You and Yunho were alone at the front today, and San and Mingi are coming later for the next shift.
Serving customers and helping Yunho out when he got too many orders by bringing them to the tables, until a group of young girls came in, barely eighteen maybe. Lining themself up while watching Yunho giggling and blushing, rolling your eyes, you look over to Yunho, who is oblivious to the girls gawking at him. "Next please!" Yunho calls to the girls, them shoving each other and one girl to the front. She was cute, with long hair, big eyes,, and pouty lips. "Uhm hey.. we'd like four strawberry frappes, please.." Getting shy, she averts her eyes when Yunho sends her his customer smile, noting everything down and asking them to take a seat.
"Someone's got a crush on you." You mumble to Yunho, making him look at you confused; oh, he was so obvious. "Who do you mean?" Raising an eyebrow at him, you motion over to the table of girls before getting started on their drinks. Stupid strawberry frappes, who drinks that?
Till you let out a shriek from two arms hugging you around your waist and pulling you against himself. Catching the attention of a lot of customers, the old ladies who frequent every day coming at you and Yunho; they had been rooting for you and any of the boys since you joined the team; the young girls were glaring at you now, though. "Tiny.. are you jealous? You know you're my favorite right? I mean.. you're the one sleeping in my bed, no one else." The last part was whispered, blushing a crimson red now as he nuzzles his face against your neck, thumb rubbing softly over your waist.
"I-I can't work like this Yunho.." He lets out a deep chuckle before letting you go to finish the frappes, preparing the coffee for someone else. Taking a deep breath, you bring over the frappes to the girls. "Here are your four frappes, can I get you anything else?" Three of the girls are looking at you from top to bottom; the girl who ordered was rather quiet and fidgeting. "Are you his girlfriend?" One of the ones glaring at you asked; she had a high ponytail, whispy bangs,, and some heavy makeup, pointing to Yunho. "Oh.. I don't think that's any of your concern." A scoff could be heard from the girl beside her: short curly hair, soft makeup, but deep berry lips. "So you're not? Then you can get us his number right? Our friend has been eyeing him for ages, she is deeply in love." Those girls were starting to annoy you; on top, you could feel another set of eyes on you from behind the counter, probably having fun watching you slowly lose your temper. "You know, no, I can't, because one, how is someone in love with a guy you barely know? Two he is my boyfriend. So no I cannot get you his number." Slamming the bill onto the table, you turn around and walk back behind the counter.
"You're basically steaming from your ears; what did they say, mh?" Yunho leans over your shoulder, annoying you even more. "Not right now Yunho." Chuckling, his hands find your waist again, pulling you to his chest. His head coming to rest on your shoulder, he for sure was putting up a show for those girls right now. "Darling.. Don't be mean to me.. Aren't I your boyfriend?" So he heard what you said?! Oh god, that must mean the whole cafe heard; how embarrassing. "Yuyu.. please stop.." Hiding your face behind your hands now, your whole face and ears felt hot. Soft lips press against your hand, before pulling one of them down to press a kiss to your hot cheek.
"Stop flirting and get back to work Yunho!" Hongjoong scolds, making the man jump away from you before telling his boss, 'Aye aye, captain.'
After that, the walk home was quiet, your thoughts still stuck on those two little moments you shared with Yunho today. "You can shower first; I'll do something for us." Pushing you softly into the direction of the bathroom, quickly following his words to be alone a bit with your thoughts, leaning against the bathroom door now, your heart beating loudly in your chest. What just happened? Shaking your head, you step under the shower to be engulfed in the warmth of the water.
Stepping out of the bathroom, the smell of food hits your nose, following it into the kitchen. "Smells good Yuyu.." Looking into the pan beside him, he smiles at you. "Just something simple, some tteokbokki and kimchi fried rice." Nodding, you start to set the table, putting a plate down for Mingi too, so he can heat it up later after his shift. Sitting down with Yunho now, you eat in silence for a bit before he starts talking about this new Spiderman game that recently came out. The conversation feels light again,, and you're finally calming down. "I'll clean up, go lay down I'll quickly take a shower and join you then." That makes you sit just a second longer, you totally forgot how you had agreed to share a bed for the time being.
Entering the room, you take in the big windows and fairy lights before looking at the bed. You should've taken the couch instead of this idea. Still, you lay down, grabbing the cat plushie again, laying your head on the pillow; maybe if you're lucky enough, you'll be asleep before Yunho joins you. And in that exact moment, Yunho walks in.
Shirtless, hair wet. What the fuck?
Looking over your shoulder, before quickly turning around again and you could hear that deep chuckle again. "Mind helping me dry my hair?" Grabbing the hairdryer, he sits down on the floor of the side you're facing. "S-Sure.." Sitting up, your legs on both sides of Yunhos large frame, you softly pat his hair dry with the towel before grabbing a brush and carefully brushing through his hair. The hairdryer was warm on your hand which is running through Yunhos long locks. He had dyed them recently from his natural chocolate brown to a darker brown with red streaks, which suited him and made him just more attractive.
"The new hair suits you.." Gliding your fingers against the red streaks, drying them the whole time. His head moves back now till it's resting against your stomach, looking up at you. "Really? You think so?" His eyes held little sparkles in them, happy that you complimented his hair, you continued drying his hair before turning the dryer off. "Finished!" Looking down, Yunho was still staring at you as if you hung up the stars in the starry night. "You're so cute.. stop.." Giggling your thumb rubs slowly over his cheek, leaning down to press a kiss to his forehead. "Let's sleep, I'm tired from the shift."
Shifting your legs onto the bed, you pull the blanket over yourself and wait for Yunho to lay down beside you. For now, he was resting on his back while you were on your side facing away from him, not noticing the fleeting glances he sent your way. "Can I ask you for a favor?" Turning your head to him, you wait for him to continue. "Can we cuddle?" His face was turned away slightly, a blush spreading on his cheeks. "S-Sure.." Turning your head back again, you wait for Yunho to come closer, feeling his arm snake around your waist, pulling you against him, your head moving from the pillow to rest on his biceps. "Sleep well tiny.." Nuzzling his face into your hair now, you wonder how you were going to sleep like this for the next few days.
So with that, your days calmed down again, working happily with everyone at the cafe while cuddling and growing closer to Yunho each day.
"Oh? You're working late too today?" Sans's voice sounds from behind the counter, looking at you; Yunho and Wooyoung stick their heads through the door from the back to see who San is talking to. "Yeah, Seonghwa asked me to jump in for Mingi since he's sick." Looking over to Yunho now, asking how Mingi is doing. Apparently, he had caught the flu. Getting right on to the customers, San is rather glad to have another hand right now helping with the beverages, since Yunho has to help more at serving them.
"Did the situation calm down again at your place? Yunho mentioned something." San looked at you concerned after handing out the last coffee right now, the cafe having calmed down from rush hour. "Yeah, it was creepy as fuck; I don't know who it was, maybe it was just some stupid prank, but it freaked me out; who in their right mind would think this is funny.." Complaining to San now, the eyes of a certain customer in the back of the cafe darken upon eavesdropping in on your conversation. "Yeah, it was creepy, especially that letter, I'm glad I threw it all away when I arrived; who knows what kind of sick stuff is hidden in that teddy." Yunho joins the conversation, wrapping his arm softly around your shoulder and pulling you closer to him. One thing this whole ordeal did well was it helped you get closer to Yunho.
After staying with them for three days, Yunho complained about back pain from the couch, insisting they should invest in a guest bed; that's when you offered for him to just share the bed with you. It was a king-sized bed, so honestly, there was enough space for the both of you. Two more days later, you and Yunho ended up cuddling every night, growing closer, and soon after that, you started being more touchy outside of his room. Everyone could notice the shift in your relationship, but especially Mingi was rooting for his best friend and you to get together.
"Yeah, I'm glad you were there for me, who knows what else could've happened.." Leaning your head against his shoulder now, his arm wanders from around your shoulder to your waist. "Yeah, but it stopped, and you're safe with us around." Yunho smiles softly at you, pressing a kiss to the crown of your head, before turning to the door because a new customer entered, the blush on your cheeks a deep red now.
The day continues with serving a lot of customers and closing the cafe before enjoying a nice meal together with everyone at a restaurant.
"It's your first anniversary with us soon; how quickly the time passes," Hongjoong speaks up, looking over at you with a smile. He was right; you've almost been working for him for a whole year now; it's crazy how time flies and how close you got in this short time with everyone. "Maybe we could all go out for a nice day on your anniversary, maybe the amusement park or an escape room," Seonghwa suggests now, ears peaking up at the mention of the escape room, and Wooyoung and San shake their head immediately, remembering the last horror escape room everyone went to upon Jonghos request. "The amusement park sounds nice if I'm being honest!" Agreeing, everyone decides to visit the close amusement park on your first anniversary.
"Good night! See you tomorrow!" Bidding your goodbye to everyone, you get your phone out to scroll through it a bit on the walk home, yawning tiredly, the shift and then the dinner made you tired. Luckily, you didn't put in your earphones. Otherwise, you wouldn't have heard the footsteps following you; looking behind you for a second, you could make out a figure following you in the dark, turning around again quickly. You quicken your footsteps and hear your followers doing so too. Heart running a mile per hour, you dash into the elevator of your apartment and up to your floor, quickly punching in the corner of your door and slamming it shut before locking it. Staring at the door with heavy breaths, you had to clutch a hand over your mouth when loud knocking sounded from against your door.
Scrambling to grab your phone, you move into your bedroom, locking the door as your shaky hands scroll to find Yunhos name, quickly calling him. "Hey tiny, got home safely?" His voice was soft and calm; in the background,, you could hear Mingi coughing from his flu. "Yuyu.. Someone followed me again.. they're at my door and knocked." Silence, before you heard Yunho shouting to Mingi to get his tea himself, moving to get dressed. "Stay on the phone, I'm on my way.. If I get that asshole I'll punch him." Listening to Yunho leave his apartment and get into his car, you clutch your phone against your ear, trying to breathe quietly. "Yunho.. I'm scared.." Choking on your own words, your hands and whole body were trembling. Waiting for Yunho to get here. "I know tiny, almost there." You knew he was speeding; he was probably going to get a ticket for this, but he didn't care.
"I'm there coming upstairs now." Instead of taking the elevator, he took the stairs up to the eighth floor of your apartment. Looking around now, he doesn't see anyone around. "They're gone, tiny; open the door; I'm here." Taking deep breaths, you open the door, moving to the front door; you know Yunho is there in front of it. Still, you take a second before opening the door. Your phone slips from your hand as you see Yunho in front of you, throwing yourself into his arms and sinking to the floor together. Tears are streaming down your face now, and your body is shaking from the shock and anxiety.
"Shh.. I'm here, sweetheart; it's okay.." His arms wrap around you, fully sobbing in his arms now; this was getting too much; this couldn't continue on like this. Picking you up into his arms, he carries you into the apartment, closing the door with his foot before making his way to your bedroom, sitting down with you in his lap on your bed. "You're safe, it will be okay." Running his hand through your hair, pressing your body close to his, rocking you with him to calm you down. "They're gone, they can't hurt you." Grabbing his phone, he sends Hongjoong a quick message that both of you want to be able to come to work the next day. "Lovely, calm down, breathe for me,, okay?" Pulling your face away from his neck to have you look into his eyes. "I'll stay with you; you're not alone; I'm here." Wiping away the tears, he grabs your hand to place it over his heart. "Feel my heart, listen to my breathing, follow it." Yunhos breathing finally steadied you, his heartbeat calming you down.
"Please stay.. don't leave me.." Your voice was weak when your whole body gave up and slumped against Yunhos big frame. Shaking his head, Yunho assured you he won't be leaving, that he will stay with you. Sitting you down, Yunho carefully helps you take off your shoes, moving to the pants and switching you into some sleeping pants, closing his eyes to take off your top before putting one on to sleep in. Shrugging his own coat and shoes off now, he lays down beside you, pulling you into his chest, holding you tightly against him. If this continued he would make sure you move out of here and in with him and Mingi, this couldn't continue like that.
In the safe embrace of Yunhos arms, your body finally gave up, falling into a deep slumber. While Yunho stayed awake for most of the night, watching over you, tracing figures onto your back and kissing your face.
The next day comes way too quickly, eyes blinking open as your eyes meet Yunhos. "Hey darling, how did you sleep?" Pushing some strands out of your face as you nod. "Okay.. thank you for being here.." His smile was soft and warm as he looked at you, his hand coming to rest on your cheek, eyes still red and puffy from crying so much. "I'm sorry all of this is happening.." He genuinely felt bad for you; he was scared and worried something worse might happen if he wasn't quick enough. "It's not your fault Yuyu.. I'm glad you're here." Leaning up a bit, Yunho watched you with a smile, his gaze moving to your lips for a second before moving to your eyes again, scolding himself for thinking of kissing you at such a moment.
Your own eyes moved to his plush lips, no thought before looking at him with desperation. "Yuyu.." Your soft and needy voice is all it took him to break, to lean down and look his rosy lips with yours, his hands sneaking up to your waist, holding you as if you're his greatest treasure.. which you are. His lips move slowly against yours; no rush, just passion, and love. It wasn't hot, it felt like a soft spring day. Just pure love. Pulling away, Yunho looks into your eyes, which gets you shy, giggling as you try to hide your face. "No, don't look away! I want more kisses! Tiny!" Shaking your head laughing now as he pulls your face closer to him again, planting kisses all over your face. "I know this may come weirdly quick but.. I really like you, you know?" His head rests on your shoulder as he looks up at you with eyes full of love. "I like you a lot too, Yuyu.. maybe even love.." Now it was his turn to get shy, until his phone started ringing loudly, making him groan and pick it up.
"Dude! Where the fuck are you? You didn't write me!!" Mingis's rough voice scolds his friend, coughing after raising his voice so much. "I'm at Tinys place; someone followed her again. Can you come over later to help us pack some stuff? I won't let her stay here any longer." Groaning because Mingi is still sick, he still agrees to come over. So you and Yunho quickly get to eat some breakfast, before starting packing, clothes and books, your hygiene articles, electronics and much more. Until the doorbell rings. "Probably Mingi! I'll get it!" Yunho hums as he sorts your books into a box.
Walking to the door, you open it, ready to greet the sick boy, but coming face to face with a bunch of roses. "Huh?" Your heart is beating loudly in your chest, making you nauseous as you meet the eyes of the middle-aged man who used to frequent the cafe. "Hello, lovely. I want to apologize for everything I did; I never meant to make you feel uncomfortable! I just wanted to show you how much I love you!" Taking a step in your direction now, you take a step back as he tries to enter your apartment. "W-What do you want?" Looking at him scared, he lets the roses sink down with his hand. "We're perfect for each other! I just need you to see that." Taking another step towards you, his hand reaching out to touch you before a fist collided with his jaw.
"So you're that sick fucker." Grabbing him by the collar, Yunho lands another punch to his face, before looking over his shoulder at you. "Call the police." Dragging the man outside now, he throws him against the wall of your front door, his foot coming in contact with his shoulder, pushing him hard against the wall. "Now you'll finally get what you fucking deserve." Yunho was seething, he was furious at this man and his audacity. "W-What?! Let me go!" Struggling, the man can't do anything against Yunhos strength. That was when Mingi arrived. "Hold him there till the police arrive; I don't know how long I can stay calm.." Mingi looks at him and then at the bloody nose of the man; calm, huh? Standing in front of the man now, Mingi watches him carefully.
"Tiny, hey! We got him! It's over!" You were standing where he left you, shocked and shaken. "Nothing can happen again; the police are on the way." Pulling you into his arms, Yunho was right. The police arrived very quickly, explaining the situation to them; they got the security camera footage before telling you guys they would get back in contact with you.
Yunho still insisted you join them again at their place, and that quickly got permanent; moving out of your old place and in with Yunho and Mingi, your relationship with him was blooming; the day you moved in fully, he asked you to be his girlfriend. Both of you getting ready for your first shift after all of this.
"Oh my god, you're back! How are you, sweetheart? Yunho move!" Seonghwa rushes over to you, pulling you into his warm embrace, before handing you off to Hongjoong, who pulls you into a tight embrace, apologizing for everything that has happened. "We missed you so much!" San and Wooyoung move over to you, pulling you into a tight hug, their faces disappearing into your neck. "I'm back.." You smile at them, before meeting Yunhos eyes. You were finally back safely with everyone, had an amazing boyfriend now, and didn't need to be scared anymore; everything was okay again, just like Yunho said.

a chaotic trip to the grocery store
Tumblr media
Word Count - 1.6k
Author's Note: I am 100% procrastinating on other wips simply because I can't get Jack as a dad out of my head. I might make this a whole AU. 🤭 Shoutout to Allie (@aleskie-hischier) for letting me yap her ear off, about this concept off and on for weeks. Also choosing not to put a summary because it's so small it ruins it.
So I did turn it into an AU… till forever falls apart.
Grocery shopping wasn't supposed to be this difficult. Jack has been a single dad for a few months now, but somehow this is the first time he is taking both his kids grocery shopping - and he knows he is a shitty person for thinking this - but he wishes Luke would of agreed to babysit for an hour instead of him taking both of them to the store.
"Daddy" his son screeches his name and Jack is suddenly alert again, to the fact that he is in the store entering the cereal aisle.
"ya baby?" because despite his son, just being a little over two years old now, Zander will always be Jack's baby. Even now, even though Zander hates it and his brows are in that cute little frown and lips are slightly pouting as they do only when Jack calls him by that.
" 'ot a baby. Zo a baby." he pouts, standing in the cart now, with his little arms folded over his chest, 'God he looks so much like me' Jack thinks to himself. 'just too sassy for his own good.'
"You are both my babies. Isn't that right Zozo." Jack coos at his baby girl sitting in the seat of the basket, slightly leaning forward to grab her attention. Jack smiles at his daughter as she laughs at him, clapping her hands now that she's receiving attention from her favorite person.
Jack suddenly snaps out of whatever moment he's having with his daughter when he hears his son call for him again. "yes bab-. Sorry little Z whatcha need?" He smirks as he teases his son on purpose.
"Can I have da good cereal?" he asks cheekily with a smile on his face. The 'good cereal' Zander means the sugary kind that gets him so hyper it’s hard to control his energy and he usually is meaner to his sister, which results in a lot of crying and screaming from both of them. Jack takes a deep breath, just thinking about how his morning would go if he gave in and let him have it for a snack when they got home. Ultimately if he gave in to buying it, Zander would have a hard time understanding that right before nap time isn’t the right time for that type of snack. Jack sighs to himself, as he tries to let his son down gently hoping he doesn’t have a meltdown.
"No buddy, not today." Jack responds softly hoping that Zander will let it go. But before his son can let out any response, let alone his little protests. Jack hears someone call his name and he flinches his father's instincts kicking into overdrive, he used to not mind getting recognized when he was out but when he has his kids it's his worst nightmare.
It's almost like his kids can feel their father's shift in the mood and he lets out a deep breath, hoping that it soothes them. Jack smiles to himself when it seems to work, keeping a hand on the cart he turns around to the voice shedding the stranger from seeing his children. Sadly it isn't the first time he has been recognized in public with his kids and it won't be the last. But the knot in his stomach, hopes whoever he is about to face will be kind. One thing Jack hates the most about playing in the NHL, is his children's faces being blasted all over social media and talked about endlessly simply because of who their father is. Jack truly doesn’t know how real famous people deal with the media around their kids.
He turns around to see a man and a girl, and he lets out a breath he didn't know he was holding. Somehow the guys always happened to be a little more chill than the young girls. "oh shit you are Jack Hughes!" he exclaims in shock.
"hey can you not curse in front of my kids man." Jack tries hard to not sound like a dick, but Zander is in his copying faze and if he picks up curse words from a fan, Jack will never hear the end of it.
"Oh fuck sorry. shit sorry I-." Jack gives him a tight smile, he can see the guy trying but when you're in your 20's most people don't have to censor their language due to being around children. The young man, probably no more older than the 24 year old Jack, looks to the girl for help.
"Sorry to bother you, but it would mean a lot if he could take a picture with you?" The girl smiles softly at Jack, but Jack doesn't respond because he hears Zander whine for him, his stranger danger stage along with copying every word stage in full force. Of course, if Zander shows any sign of distress Zo will start fussing as well. Jack doesn't even attempt to apologize to the couple as he turns to his kids.
"Come here baby. It's okay." Jack mumbles as he reaches for his mini-me. Zander doesn't seem to mind the nickname anymore when he's scared. Quickly he goes to his fathers arms and lets him be picked up out of the cart, wrapping his arms around his shoulders and hiding his face in his neck. Jack holds his son and tries to smooth him as he clings to him. Jack tries to focus, frowning his eyebrows as he uses the heel of his foot to rock the cart back and forth trying to calm Zola down in the process. Finally, feeling Zander calm down against his chest, he moves him to one side so he now can use his hand to pet his daughter's head showing her everything is fine.
"You have really cute kids." The girl speaks up, and suddenly Jack is reminded of why his son was so scared in the first place, he feels Zander press into him a little harder than a few seconds ago and Jack's jaw tightens in response.
"Look if I take a picture with you, you promise not to take any of them or post the photo online for a few hours. They're just kids, they deserve privacy." Before Jack can continue on his tangent the girl cuts him off.
"We haven't." She almost seems offended for Jack assuming they would take unconsented photos but he doesn't apologize for it.
"I'd love a picture with you if you're able." The man speaks softly, Jack grins at him tightly, bending his head down to talk to his son.
"Hey little Z?" he coos. Even though Jack doesn't hear his son, he knows Zander is listening because his head turns ever so slightly towards his fathers voice.
"Can we make a deal lil' man?" Jack softly asks. He waits until he can feel his son nod his head. “Can you be brave and stay with sissy while I take a photo with these nice people.” Jack softly asks, his tone so soft that Zander is craning his neck slightly to make sure he hears his dads every word.
“I wanna stay wit you.” Zander sniffles, and Jack's heart sinks in the pit of his stomach.
“My baby. I’ll be 3 feet away okay. And then we can pick a special healthy snack for snack time today. Alright?” Jack shoots a look over to the couple, as if to tell them without speaking that he’s working on it.
“Why cannt’ I stay wit you?” Zander asks.
“Because then who’s gonna watch Zozo?” Jack asks, knowing he isn’t telling his son the whole truth, about how he will never let him be in fan pictures. I mean he is a little over two and his face hasn’t been posted once on social media, it’s honestly a miracle that only Jack holding him one time was posted. One day he will tell him, but not when Zander is two and having a tough time understanding that his dad isn’t leaving him.
“Promise you come back. Not like mama.” Zander asks, and Jack wants to cry, his son thinks that Jack would ever leave him.
“Promise honey.” Jack coos, kissing the crown of his son's head. He felt Zander wiggle in his grasp and he knew he wanted to let down. Jack gently made sure he was on his feet, before he stood and got up, he softly put Zanders little hand so it grasped the cart but he stepped back. Jack stood opposite of his kids, on the other side, so there was no chance for even a glimpse of his children in the picture. Jack took a selfie with both, and one photo with each of them separately.
Once the couple finally walked away, he felt his son tug his leg. “I did it daddy! I was a big boy SEE NO BABY.” His voice screeched with glee.
“You did so good Z.” Jack smiled down at him, ruffing his hair. “What healthy snack do you want bubs?” he asks, picking him up and placing him back in the cart.
“I wan’ da good cereal,” he demands.
“Zander,” he says sternly. “I already told you not today.” Jack knows he has roughly 3 minutes before a full on meltdown, and maybe it’s the guilt from Zander struggling earlier on during the grocery trip. But he just sighs and places the cinnamon toast crunch in the cart, Jack is just glad he could avoid a meltdown. Although then his daughter needs her diaper changed and starts to cry to let her dad know. Suddenly Jack feels like he should have just listened to Luke when he told him to Instacart.

“You’re WHAT?!”
Hana gaped back at (Y/n), trying to ensure she heard her correctly. (Y/n) smiled sadly at Hana.
“I just… got an opportunity elsewhere…,” she attempted to be vague. Hana didn’t look convinced.
“Please don’t tell me you’re starting an Only Fans.”
(Y/n) gawked. “No–! And even if I was…,” she made a face at Hana. Hana tutted.
“Please don’t tell me you’re starting an Only Fans without me,” she repeated, now laughing. The morning rush shift had slowed down to a nonexistent teeter. (Y/n) smiled at Hana’s comment as she cleaned one of the tables in the dining area of the quaint restaurant. Hana groaned, leaning back with her elbows on the countertop, her head tilting toward the ceiling.
“What am I gonna do without you here?!” Hana groaned at her best friend. (Y/n) announced that she put her two weeks in yesterday when Hana was off. Their manager flipped her shit, but Hana argued that she had it coming and that (Y/n) quitting should be the least of her worries. (Y/n) shrugged.
“I dunno. I’ll still stop by for some lattes. Give you guys some business with my big Only Fans money.”
Hana shook her head. “I’m gonna put my two weeks in tomorrow. Or I might just dip after today and not come back.” Hana’s curls bounced as she turned to check to make sure their manager was in the café backroom. Deep in the café backroom.
“You should stay for the chance of running into Shoto,” (Y/n) recommended, leaning on her elbows on the cashier counter. Katsuki and Izuku had been frequenting their café much more often lately, and she and Hana kid that it was only a matter of time before word of Sato’s traveled to Pro Hero Shoto. However, Hana still shook her head.
“What do you mean? We’re married. I see him every night. Work is my chance to get away from him!” She gave (Y/n) a coy smile. (Y/n) rolled her eyes, grinning, smacking Hana’s arm with a small hand towel.
“Shut up!”
Tumblr media
Izuku and Katsuki threw themselves headfirst into their work, and (Y/n) shouldn’t have been surprised. It’s not like she expected things to change after she finally had sex, but she couldn’t help but feel as though the experience wasn’t as life-changing as it was all made out to be.
What was that feeling? That persistent nudging tug in the depths of her mind and gut, telling her that something more should be happening now, either between her, Izuku, and Katsuki or in her life? Disappointment? She lost her virginity to one of the most famous pro heroes in Japan, and the experience wasn’t anything less than euphoric. What was there to be disappointed about?
Maybe how neither Izuku nor Katsuki recognized (Y/n)’s perceived loss of innocence. (Y/n) considered bitterly whether there was even any innocence to ‘lose’, and why would having sex make her any less innocent? Was she dirty now? No, no. That’s not it. (Y/n) didn’t expect the heroes to celebrate or anything of that nature. That’d be rather disturbing. What was she expecting, though? Nothing ultimately changed after the intercourse. Not herself, not really. Not Katsuki. Not Izuku. What the hell even was virginity?
Did she want them to change? What more did she want to come from that experience?
“Izuku?” She called, sitting on the couch one night. It was late; Izuku had just gotten home from a 16-hour shift. (Y/n) never really knew if he and Katsuki chose to work that long willingly – their hours seemed flexible – but she did notice that Katsuki seemed to know his limits and take scheduled breaks throughout the day. She couldn’t say the same about Izuku.
“Yeah?” Izuku replied half-heartedly. He obviously didn’t want to speak to anybody right now. He was digging through the fridge, looking for leftovers to wolf down. (Y/n) was convinced that Katsuki was the only reason why Izuku remembered to even eat and shower or even take care of himself at all. Katsuki’s footsteps could be heard upstairs; he must’ve just gotten out of the shower himself.
“What’s virginity?” (Y/n) blurted obtusely.
The shuffling of plastic containers and cartons in the fridge stopped. Izuku stood upright.
“What?”
He sounded incredulous. (Y/n) didn’t want to look at him because she was so ashamed of her question.
“What’s virginity?” She repeated, a little louder and snappier, in case he didn’t hear her. Izuku looked at the back of her head with a wild stare.
“(Y/n), I’m not–,“ Izuku was not in the mood for whatever she was talking about.
“And what’s the point of it?” (Y/n) continued. Izuku dragged a hand down his face.
“I’m not sure what answer you’re looking for,” he was blunt, more blunt than he cared to be. He was exhausted. He just wanted to eat something, go to bed and turn the world off, not deal with whatever emotional turmoil (Y/n) was feeling.
“I just… don’t feel any different,” (Y/n) pondered aloud, not caring if Izuku wanted to talk or not.
She heard the fridge door shut and footsteps approach. “Uh, good?” Izuku spoke with a mouth full of chicken, which he didn’t even bother to heat up. “It’d be weird if you felt different after having sex?” Izuku stared down at her oddly. (Y/n) rolled her eyes.
“That’s not what I mean. I mean there’s, like…,” she made vague gestures with her hands. “It’s like nothing even happened.”
Izuku was tired, and when Izuku was tired, it was like talking to a brick wall. He was just as stubborn as Katsuki, if not more. This conversation was going nowhere. He swallowed the food he was chewing and shook his head, shrugging.
“I don’t know what to say.”
(Y/n) sighed, frustrated. She got off the couch and stormed up the stairs. “Ugh. Forget it.”
Izuku made his way over to claim the spot on the couch she left, continuing to eat his food.
Tumblr media
Okay. (Y/n) can admit that she was being a little fussy. She blew by Katsuki, who was bent over in the middle of the hall replacing his bath items into the closet, and retreated into the bedroom.
Katsuki’s hair was still damp from his shower. He blinked, watching as she disappeared into the bedroom but left the door wide open. Katsuki stared at the door for a minute before inhaling slowly and letting out a sigh. He stood, closed the closet, and rubbed the back of his neck as he hesitantly followed after (Y/n).
He stood in the doorway with his hands in the pockets of his sweatpants. (Y/n) was on the bed, scrolling on her phone, obviously upset. Katsuki was debating whether he should bite or turn and walk away. Whenever he or Izuku gets into a bad mood, they typically avoid each other lest it blow up in their faces. He didn’t know how this would turn out with (Y/n).
He’ll bite. (Y/n) was more sensitive than Deku. She needed different things than he did. Katsuki was still learning.
He shifted his weight, feeling stiff. “Something happen?”
“No,” came the sharp reply. Katsuki blinked, and his face soured. Katsuki hadn’t heard her use that tone with him before.
“What?” He snapped back.
(Y/n) didn’t look up at him, still scrolling on her phone. “I said, no, nothing happened.”
Katsuki stared at her. “Okay, but something obviously did? Your attitude is shit right now.”
(Y/n) shrugged and shook her head. “Your attitude is always shit. What, I’m not allowed to be upset about something?”
Katsuki threw his head back and closed his eyes. He took a breath. Calm down. “So, something did happen?”
(Y/n) groaned, rolling her eyes. “You guys just… practically ignore me!” She blurted. “You’re never here! I moved out of my apartment, I put my two weeks in at my job for you, and you guys don’t even seem grateful… My whole life is about to change…”
Katsuki’s eyes narrowed. “Us? Grateful? We are paying your tuitionfor your shitty education. We are giving you free housing in one of the safest neighborhoods in Japan. We are giving you complete access to your own bank account with millions of yen already in it with no strings attached. If there’s anyone that should be grateful, I’m looking right at her.”
(Y/n) was teary-eyed at Katsuki’s harsh words. She yelled at him, “What if I was fine before all of that?!”
“Then leave!”
Izuku came up the stairs. He had dark circles under his eyes, and despite the argument, he didn’t appear urgent. “What’s going–“
“Go back to your shitty life. I don’t care,” Katsuki turned and disengaged, going downstairs and leaving (Y/n) crying on the bed.
Izuku could barely stand on two legs from exhaustion, but he relented the fact that Katsuki could handle himself. If there was anyone that needed to be pacified, it was (Y/n). He had to figure out how to settle all of this before the clock struck 1 AM so they could all get to bed peacefully.
He stepped further into the bedroom, staring with dead eyes at (Y/n) as she cried on their bed. He had to push himself to keep walking forward and to sit on the bed next to her. He waited silently for her to stop crying enough to look up at him.
Eventually, her sobs simmered, and she just sniffled. She rubbed her eyes, finally meeting Izuku’s gaze. This was the first time tonight that she really could see the exhaustion on his face, and she felt guilty for making tonight about her.
“What’s going on?” Izuku asks. His voice is calm and quiet, but she hears that tinge of something else – pity.
“I, uh…,” (Y/n) starts, now unsure why she’s upset. “I guess I’m just stressed. And worried. And scared.”
Izuku looked concerned. “About?”
(Y/n) sighed, wiping her eye. “I don’t know,” she paused for a moment. “Katsuki’s right. I should be grateful for all you guys have done for me… I don’t know why I’m feeling like this.”
Izuku glanced off into the hallway, probably trying to determine where Katsuki was in the house. “Are you… not happy here with us?”
(Y/n) instantly shifted to face him fully on the bed. “No, no! That’s not it at all. I’m very happy… It’s just… different.”
He stared at her. “It doesn’t sound like you’re happy. Or look like it, either.”
(Y/n) looked at him oddly, making a point to prevent any more tears from falling. “I am. I am.”
Izuku continued watching her. (Y/n)’s phone vibrated in her hands, and she glanced at it before turning it back over.
“Did we do something to upset you?” Izuku asked. (Y/n) shook her head.
“No, you guys didn’t do anything…,” her voice trailed off.
“We obviously did. What is it?” He could be just as forthright as Katsuki. “We can’t help if we don’t know.” What little patience was left inside of Izuku this evening was nearly depleted. He was trying his hardest to remain present and serene. (Y/n) shook her head. Her phone vibrated again, and Izuku couldn’t help how his gaze flickered down at it.
(Y/n) sighed, realizing Izuku wasn’t really going to leave her alone until she spoke; however, there was an air of shame that surrounded her.
“I just… think I need more attention, maybe…,” she tried not to wince, but she wasn’t sure how well she covered up her embarrassment. “I don’t know. I know you guys have long hours…,” she trailed off once again.
Izuku nodded, “We do.”
“Um…,” she didn’t know what to say next. “It’s okay. I’m sorry for bringing it up. I think I’m just a little emotional after…,” she referred to their night together the other week. And, now that she’d thought about it, it wasn’t like they were completely ignoring her, either. They gave her affection as much as they could, kisses and whatnot. They’d all messed around a bit since that night, but they hadn’t gone ‘all the way’ again. Maybe with each other, but not with (Y/n). She didn’t feel ready to, and she knew that upset Izuku. He didn’t say it, but he always seemed a little disappointed when he saw the hesitance in (Y/n)’s eyes and how her touch was fleeting instead of carrying the same passion they started with. It especially disappointed him how she lingered heavier on Katsuki during their intimate moments, leaving Izuku to occasionally feel like the third wheel. He didn’t want to speculate on why this would be, so he never brought attention to it in hopes that he was imagining it.
“I’m sorry,” what exactly was she apologizing for? She felt like she needed to, though. Izuku looked like he was going to fall over from exhaustion, she’d made Katsuki mad, and here she was complaining when they had given her any girl’s dream life.
Izuku was too tired to address this any further. He glanced at the hallway again to see if Katsuki had returned. He hadn’t. He must’ve banished himself to sleep downstairs on the couch.
“Let’s just go to bed, yeah?” Izuku offered.
(Y/n) sighed but reluctantly nodded, feeling like a piece of her was unfulfilled.
Tumblr media
Katsuki and Izuku made more of an effort to attend to (Y/n) after that night by spending more time with her when they were home. It made (Y/n) feel worse because she didn’t want them to think she wasn’t satisfied with all they had given her thus far – and now she could see how they were actively trying to keep her happy on top of all of that? Why couldn’t she just be appreciative to begin with? She tried not to let the guilt eat her alive, especially when she remembered that no other person, let alone two people at once, had ever treated her this preciously.
While the two pro heroes built their relationships individually with (Y/n), tensions rose between them, and it made (Y/n) uncomfortable. She didn’t know if this was how they always were or if something recently sparked this apparent rivalry between the two men. As she spent more time settling into the home and acclimating to her new environment, she couldn’t help but notice the sly remarks or side glances they gave each other – about literally anything. Most of their spats had to do with work. (Y/n) hardly knew what truly occurred in the hero world, so she would stay out of it.
Day by day, though, her guilt faded. She felt happier and able to truly enjoy her place in their home, no longer feeling like an outsider or a guest. She was learning both of them, slowly but surely. Katsuki required a lot of attention, but he’d never outright ask for it. He’d linger around (Y/n), not exactly engaging with her but doing mindless things around the house, and he’d get defensive if she pointed it out. She appreciated it when Katsuki was more honest about his desires, especially when he came home and the first thing he did was give her a kiss. Izuku was an insufferable romantic and very different than Katsuki in that regard. He was much more comfortable showing affection, and he always prioritized his partners’ comfort over his desires.
Izuku was much more cynical than his media personality makes him out to be. Sometimes, he said things that even made Katsuki go silent.
Katsuki was also a very clean person. (Y/n) feels like he might have an oral fixation, or maybe he just really, really enjoys watching her eat his cooking. She isn’t sure.
(Y/n) was getting ready for bed, just getting out of the shower, when she heard the whack of skin coming from the kitchen. She paused, listening, her mind trying to reassure her that it wasn’t what she thought it was. The front door opened and slammed shut – someone left the house, or someone just entered. Her heartbeat thrummed in her ears. She quickly tiptoed out of the bedroom, trying not to slip, as she still hadn’t dried off completely, peering down the stairs and into the kitchen.
She caught a glimpse of Izuku sitting at the island by himself. Whatever ruckus went down a few minutes prior no longer remained, and the house was silent. (Y/n) clutched the towel that draped around her, making sure it wasn’t going to fall, as she crept down the stairs.
Izuku glared at her as soon as she entered the kitchen, making her freeze by the door.
“What happened?” (Y/n) asked quietly. Izuku rolled his eyes, finally getting up from his barstool. He opened a kitchen drawer, the one where they kept random medicines, and rummaged through the back of it. He pulled out a cigarette and a lighter he’d stashed there.
(Y/n) watched him as he lit his smoke. She’d never seen him smoke in the house before. She got a glimpse of his face, then. His cheek was red and beginning to lightly bruise. (Y/n)’s eyes widened, and immediately, she flashed back to the events at Koburi Pass. She quickly approached Izuku, cupping his face to get a better look.
“Katsuki did that…?” Her emotions were conflicted. Izuku instantly yanked his face away from her before her fingers could even touch him. He took a drag of his cigarette. Tobacco smoke filled the kitchen, and (Y/n) grimaced. She just noticed now that she was shaking. Neither she nor Izuku said anything to each other for a while. They stood together in the kitchen silently, and (Y/n) watched as Izuku finished his cigarette. He rummaged through the medicine drawer once again, pulling out another cig.
“How many…?”
Izuku cut her off, seemingly already knowing what she was going to ask. “I keep them there. He hasn’t found them yet, or if he has, he hasn’t said anything.”
“Is he going to be upset that you’re smoking in the house?”
Izuku laughed bitterly, smoke blowing out with his exhale. He rolled his eyes again and shook his head.
Tumblr media
Izuku practically refused to talk to (Y/n) about anything. The two of them just remained in each other’s presence. (Y/n) felt like he needed that more than to talk through whatever happened. He eventually went to bed, but (Y/n) stayed up. Katsuki hadn’t returned home yet, and (Y/n) had a few words to say to him.
It was around 2 AM when Katsuki returned home.
He closed the front door quietly – a complete difference from the slam hours ago. (Y/n) sat in the kitchen, pouring a glass of milk. She was nervous to see him, to get the truth of what happened. He was taking his time removing his shoes in the genkan, and it made every second feel like years. She forgot she even poured herself a glass of milk, as she stared at the entryway.
Katsuki appeared at the door of the kitchen, and his gaze immediately locked onto (Y/n). He looked a little distracted but otherwise fine. It wasn’t until he stepped further into the kitchen that she realized he was drunk.
He looked down at the untouched glass of milk in front of (Y/n).
“You spilled some,” he muttered. (Y/n) glanced down, noticing that she did indeed spill some milk on the counter when she was pouring it.
“I’ll get it,” she replied, looking back up at Katsuki. “Do you need water?”
Katsuki scoffed but smiled. “No.”
She thought she might as well confront him directly. Her resentment was teeming, “Why’d you hurt Izuku?”
The befuddled, faraway stare that Katsuki held hardened a little when she said that. He almost felt guilty. He swallowed, the alcohol loosening his lips more than he liked.
“He pissed me off,” he gave a slight shrug of the shoulder. Careless but honest.
Katsuki was always honest but never careless. (Y/n) decided then that she didn’t like this side of Katsuki. Her stomach felt tight.
“So, if I ever piss you off, you’ll do the same to me?” She snapped.
Katsuki shook his head, scowling at the ridiculousness of her question. He still stood in the doorway, almost caging her in, and (Y/n) noticed just how small she really was to them, to this big house. They stared at each other. Katsuki blinked then sighed, walking over to the fridge. (Y/n) was acutely aware of his movements, like she was locked in a room with a starving lion that circled her. The lion hadn’t pounced yet, but she could feel it in her bones that he was still eager to attack.
He shrugged, reaching for a beer from the bottom shelf – in the way back of the fridge.
“Guess not,” was his answer.
That wasn’t good enough for (Y/n), but she knew not to press the issue right now, not while he’s like this.
He popped open the beer bottle, threw away the cap, and plodded to the living room. She heard him collapse on the couch with a sigh.
(Y/n) stayed away from him for a while.

i might as well be drunk in love
“slut!” by taylor swift
benny cross x fem!reader / 1.4k words
idea: you’re drunk, and benny takes care of you after a long night out
tw: drinking, swearing, so fluffy it’s sickening
notes: this is my first big piece that I’ve wrote and omg it took FOREVER !! i haven’t been able to stop thinking about “the bikeriders” she literally consumes my every waking thought AHH !! anyway i hope you guys enjoy reading this:))
⋆ ˚。⋆୨୧˚ ˚୨୧⋆。˚ ⋆
it’s just about 4 in the morning and you and benny just made it back home to your place. you’d been so busy this week due to picking up more shifts at the library so you would be able to pay off the rent by the end of the month, groceries, and afford to buy a little more thread to stitch up a pair of your jeans and the large tear on bennys jacket. not only was that stressful, but throughout the week you had to deal with some grouchy elderly women, preverted college boys (‘pinkos’ as zipco would call them), and multiple groups of chaotic elementary school students who were checking out their books for the semester, and only to have a slice of toast, scorching hot coffee with no milk OR sugar, and fucking prayer holding you together. so yes, this night out was a well deserved one. but who’s kidding? you needed that shit! now here you are, barely getting up the stairs to your apartment as benny holds onto you for dear life.
as you both stood outside of your apartment door, benny began digging for his copy of keys in his pocket while leaning you up against his side and adjusting his hold on your hip. he draped his jacket over you before you hopped onto his bike to head home, leaving him in his tattered sleeveless black shirt against the cold chicago air.
“sorry baby, turns out the key were in the other po-“ “y’arms are so pretty honey.. like-i like how they feel ‘round me” you cut him off with slurred words as you drunkenly gazed up at him.
“can’t believe i get to see them all t’time, for m’self, a-and nobody else gets ta have ‘em but me.. a’like when they hold me when it’s real cold..o-or hot.. or ‘round the pillows or the flowers ya get me.. or when ya’ cuddlin’ lula.. oh i hope she’s not t’cold, v’missed her so much.. she’s probably sad that her mama and daddy were gone all night-“ at this point benny could only chuckle as his girl jumped from talking about his arms to their sweet black cat lula, it made his heart swell.
once he got you into your apartment he began walking you straight towards your bed, as your giggles and drunk thoughts echoed down the hallway “no b-benny i don’t wanna t’sleep yet, i wanna watch t’bakin’ show on channel 6, they be makin some.. some of them valen..tines treats a-and i wanna try” you began to whine as benny sat you down at the edge of your bed, kneeling in front of you as he begins unbuckling the straps of your red kitten heels “yeah we can watch some baby, d’worry, jus’ wanna getcha out of these ‘nd this dress” “thought ‘ya liked me in this dress? grabbed these heels to match with em’” you said sadly, your eyes starting to droop.
benny looked up at you and could see the slight pout on your face, so he moved his left hand to caress your thigh “oh y’know i love this dress, but that tiny little nightie a’yours, that pretty pink flower in the middle that barely covers you up, takes the cake for me” he says as he moves closer to you “re-eally?” “yeah baby, she’s m’favorite” his voice gets muffled as he places some kisses on the tops of your thighs, still looking right back up at your sleepy eyes “but i love everythin’ that you wear.. especially when you wear nothing” he says with a smirk on his face, and had stopped your whining and shut you up instantly.
after getting your heels off benny helps you stand up to start taking off your clothes. the jacket was first to go, as he tossed it on top of your vanity chair. he then pushed the straps of your red gingham dress down which slowly began to fall to the floor. you were left in the dainty lingerie set you’d picked out for the night; the blush pink fabric with the lacy details matching the drunken flush on your face. benny takes his time to get a look at you, rubbing his callused hands up and down your sides. he knows that all the shifts you’ve picked up and the deadlines of payments have been making you stressed, so he just wants to take care of you tonight, although it won’t come close to repay you for all the sacrifices you make for him.
after benny unclasped your bra, he swiftly moved to your side of the bed and grabbed your linen night gown “arms up for me baby” you obliged, sleepily raising your arms above your head you momentarily close your eyes, enjoying the feeling of the soft fabric against your skin. but you felt something else. something running along your legs. was that fuzz? you didn’t wear socks with your heels tonight and benny already tossed your dress into the laundry bin. you were stumped until you heard a rumbling sound from beneath you. purring.
“oh lula! l-look honey s’lula! she’s purring up ‘gainst me!!” you gleamed to benny, as he too was receiving affection from lula. “she’s happy that her mama and daddy are back home, right honey? home?” benny ever so slightly teased, but out of love of his girls’ adorable rambles. “yeah. home” you said with a smile. now after changing benny walks you over to your side of the bed. he sat you down facing him, but paused briefly as he realized he forgot to take some of your jewelry off.
“one second mama, forgot to get this necklace and these hoops off, i know you sleepy but i’ll be quick” he said, quickly and gently taking them off “i told ya’ i ain’t sleepy.. gotta.. we gotta still watch our show ‘member?” “y’right baby, our show” a chuckle left his mouth; of course he remembered, but he wanted you to take the credit for remembering about it as you were fighting to stay awake. “what would i do without you baby? hmm?” “d’know ben-baby, but don’t worry, y.. ya’ have me” “and you have me baby. m’sweet baby” benny’s words became muffled as he held your jaw and kissed you deeply before placing your jewlery down on the nightstand. you were finally lying down after benny got you comfortable. he then quickly stripped down to his boxers and swapped his black shirt for a white wifebeater before joining you in bed.
just by looking at you he could tell that you were barely awake, but sticking to his word, he turned the tv onto channel 6, as clips of a dessert with chocolate and some kind of fruit in it come across the screen. strawberries? or raspberries? hell, cherries? he could not tell.
as the sounds of the baking show filled the room benny shifted you closer to him, so you could rest on his chest. “did you have a good time tonight baby? i know you’ve been excited about this meeting all week” he asked you softly. you let yourself finally close your eyes, knowing that it was okay to rest now “s’so fun.. ears are ringin’ a lil.. but had so fun with t’girls, and t’club,” benny notices that your sentences are making less sense as you are just moments away from knocking out, but he was able to make out one coherent sentence of yours before that “but i had t’most fun with ya’ tonight.. ya’ lit up m’whole night honey” seconds away from slipping into your own dream land, he had to admit, you saying that so effortlessly made his breath hitch in his throat. he didn’t have a care for anything outside the club until he met you, and you have completely flipped his life upside down because of it. it gave him meaning to ride home late at night knowing he was coming back home to you. it gave him purpose to always come back to you, regardless of what’s going on through his mind. you are there for him, you are there to care for him, laugh with him, cry with him, and to just love him for the person he is. you are there for him. you are it for him “and you light up my life baby, my light”
he reaches his hand over to turn off the little lamp on his side of the bed and when he turned his head back to look at you, you were fast asleep; soft snores leaving your mouth. he could only smile, knowing that you can get the deserved rest you’ve needed “love you so much sweet girl, with my whole heart” he kisses the top of your head as lula leaps onto the bed to join her mama and daddy for cuddles.
peace and quiet at last.

Anyway here you go...
More than Friends (With Benefits)
Tumblr media
Pedro Pascal X Reader
(no warnings)(Also reblogs and comments are more than welcome and requests too☺️)
As he felt the sun hit his face, he shook his head with a small frown, his eyes still closed tight wanting to get just a few more precious seconds of sleep. It was no good, he was awake. He sat up, and with a small groan, he stretched and then let out a loud yawn. As his mouth stretched open wider, he glanced to his right. His yawn turned into a soft smile as he took in the sight of the woman next to him. The morning sun shining on your skin.
You shifted, feeling his glance on your sleeping form. Without opening your eyes you said “And what exactly are you staring at, Pedro?”
You heard his soft chuckle that made you open your eyes.
“Just the most beautiful woman in the world.”
You huffed at that and rolled your eyes at his compliment but you smiled all the same.
“See you say that,” you said, sitting up and stretching. “But it makes me wonder if you need to get your eyes checked.”
He chuckled again. “And why do you say that? My eyesight is fine.”
You pointed to the matted hair on the side of your head, then you rubbed your eyes. “Dude, I look a mess when I wake up. The hair, the eye boogers…”
“The drool,” he added, his smile growing.
You giggled. “Yeah that too.” You wiped your mouth just in case.
You stretched again then pulled the covers back and hopped out of bed, going over to your dresser you picked up a brush and started untangling your hair, humming softly to yourself. The whole time, Pedro didn't take his eyes off you with a smile still on his lips. You looked into the mirror and saw him looking at you. You didn't say anything, you were used to this, he had been doing that a lot more often, staring at you. Once your hair was somewhat presentable, you turned to him.
“So, um, breakfast or do you have to go?” he asked.
You went over and checked the time on your phone. 10:36, you couldn’t, although you wanted to. It was Saturday, you had some errands to run, then you had promised a friend of yours that you'd help her put together some furniture she'd ordered.
“I'd love to, but I can't. I'm sorry,” you said and looked it as well. “I got a full day: errands and then I gotta help Selina out putting together some stuff she ordered… umm maybe tomorrow?”
He still smiled but you could see something in his eyes. Disappointment? Sadness? You couldn't really tell. But he nodded and said “Okay, I'll see you later then.”
“Okay,” you agreed as you grabbed your clothes off the floor and hastily dressed. You'd take a shower when you got home, like you normally did.
He followed you to the door and watched as you walked to your car, giving you a wave as you drove off. He sighed and stepped back in his place, looking around a little sadly. He wished, for not the first time, that you would stay a little longer, hell, he wished that you would move in with him and stay with him forever.
He had come so close to asking you over the time you two had been seeing each other; well, not exactly “seeing” each other. What would you call it when you didn’t really go out on dates, but slept together frequently? Friends with benefits? Ugh, he didn’t like that, he liked you, he wanted to be with you, but he didn’t want to mess up what you had, being around you, spending what little time together you did was the highlight of his days.
~~~~~~~
He had brought it up about six months into you two “seeing” each other. You were laying in bed together, legs intertwined, just talking and joking around. He had looked down at your laughing face, you were giggling at some corny joke of his, normally people would groan at his bad jokes, but you, you laughed, a genuine laugh at that. He loved the way that your smile lit up your face, the sound of your laugh was musical, he even loved it when you let  out a snort when you laughed really hard. It sent his heart pounding and his stomach seemed to fill with butterflies. He hadn’t felt like that in years.
“So,” he started after your giggle fit had subsided somewhat,
“So what?”  you asked.
“So um I was thinking that maybe we could um grab dinner later or something?”
You thought for a second. “Yeah we can order something in.” You reached over and picked up your phone. “I’m thinking maybe Thai, but I heard that Indian place over on Third had some of the best butter chicken. Selina was telling me the other day…” You had stopped upon seeing a slight frown on his face. “What’s up? What’s that look for.?”
“Oh, I was thinking that we could actually go out instead of ordering in,” he had said, trying to sound nonchalant.
“Oh umm.” You had gotten quiet.
“I-I mean if you can’t today then…” he had started.
“It-it’s just that I don’t have anything to wear over here and I…”
“It’s fine you could go home and change and I’ll come pick you up.” He had looked hopefully at this suggestion.
“Umm well I have a lot of work to do and I don’t think I-I really can. Not today at least.”
He just nodded. “Okay, no, no, I understand.”
“Cool, cool.” You had thrown the comforter off your legs and you had started scooting towards the end of the bed. “Well, um,” you cleared your throat. “With that maybe I should head out.”
“Yeah, no, yeah, that’s fine,” he had said as he watched you collect your clothes and head out.
“I’ll call you later?”
“Yeah, that sounds good,” he had mumbled as he watched you walk out. Once he had heard his front door close, he lay back on his pillows with a groan.
~~~~~~~
Pedro shook his head at the memory and went into his kitchen to make himself a cup of coffee. He didn’t quite understand it, every time he brought up going out or spending time outside of his place or yours, you got jumpy and would always come up with excuses as to why you couldn’t. Did you not like him as much as he liked you? He scoffed at that thought, it made him seem like some kid in junior high who didn’t know if his crush liked him. But that’s exactly what it was, wasn’t it?
He took his mug full of coffee and sat down at his table, pulling a book he had been reading towards himself and flipped it open and tried to focus on something else.
But after a while, he gave up. He just kept reading the same paragraph over and over, not taking in a single word. He put the book aside with a sigh and got up to take a shower.
As the hot water washed over him, his thoughts once again came back to you, your smile, your smell, your laugh, the way you felt in his arms, the way you laughed at his jokes, and listened to all of his stories. He knew in his heart that he wanted you, wanted to be with you, and by the time he turned off the tap and stepped out, he’d have to find a way to tell you. He shouldn’t be afraid, hadn’t his father always told him that the best way to get over a fear is to face it head on? So, that’s exactly what he was going to do. Face his fear of rejection and tell you exactly how he felt.
He just hoped that you felt the same way.
As he got dressed, he went over and over the best way to tell you.
~~~~~~~
A little later, you huffed out a breath as you drove up to your friend Selina’s place. You were exhausted from running around, plus the activities you had done last night and earlier that morning, and now you had to help put a shelf and table together. You wanted to call and cancel, but you had promised and plus Selina had promised to feed you. So, with some effort, you hauled your body out of your car and went to knock on her door.
She swung it open before you could fully raise your arm.
“There you are, darling, I was beginning to think you forgot about me,” she said, immediately wrapping you in a hug while pulling you inside.
“Now, Lina, you know I could never forget about you,” you laughed. “I just had some things to do first, I told you that.”
“Yes, yes, darling, I know,” she said, waving her hand in the air. Then she peered closer at you. “Seems like you had quite a bit going on.”
“Huh?” you were confused.
“Did you see Pedro again?”
“How-how did you know?’
She pointed at your neck with a knowing smirk. You turned and looked at your reflection in the mirror above her mantle. Sure enough, there was a hickey blooming on your neck, two actually. You tried to cover them with your hand while turning to her with an embarrassed look on your face.
“Darling, no need to look like that,” she said, with another wave of her hand. “We’re both adults here. I don’t know why you’re embarrassed.”
She walked to the box that held the shelf you were to put together and knelt on the floor. You followed her.
“I haven’t had a hickey since eleventh grade,” you hissed, kneeling down with her and opening the box.
“So?”
“So, I'm not a teenager anymore, I shouldn’t be walking around with hickeys like a sixteen year old.”
Selina just tsked. “Whatever you say, darling. Frankly, if it were me, I wouldn’t be embarrassed in the least bit.”
“Well, you’re never embarrassed are you?” you commented.
She just gave you a smile and wink. “You’d never know if I was.”
You laughed and began taking the parts out and the instructions. Selina didn’t even glance at the instructions, claiming that it could be put together with a little common sense. You just shook your head and read them anyway, so that when something inevitably went wrong, you knew how to fix it.
As you put the shelf and then the table together you chatted about work, your families, and other friends. By the time she had filled you in on a mutual friend and her latest drama you were finished and she had ordered food for you both.
“.... so i told Liv that she needed to make a decision, and frankly no one would be upset if she left Jay.”
“Agreed,” you said from your favorite spot of her comfy recliner.
She turned to you. “Speaking of making decisions, what are you going to do about Pedro?”
“Do what about him?”
“Uh-uh don’t play confused with me, you know exactly what I mean. You see him at least four times a week.”
“Okay and?”
“And, why haven’t you two made things official. I mean, I for one would love to meet the man behind all the stories you’ve told me. He sounds like a real catch, well, at least from what I've heard about him from you, so what’s the deal?”
You just shrugged. “Don’t know.”
“Nope, that isn’t gonna work with me, go on, tell me.”
“I just like what we have and I don’t want to mess it up.”
“You like him, don’t you? And he obviously likes you.”
“How do you know?”
“Well, from what you told me, he’s always trying to take you out, like on actual dates and stuff,” she pointed out. “If he just wanted to sleep with you, then he would and then kick you out, hell, he’d probably have moved on by now. But he hasn’t. You spend the night over there often, it seems like he wants more.”
“But what if he doesn’t?” you asked in a small voice.
“Seems like to me there’s only one way to figure that out.”
“What’s that?”
“Talk to him,” she said simply. She got up to answer the knock at the door and collect your food.
As you two sat and ate, you were deep in thought.
~~~~~~~
When you finally made it home, you put up your things from your errands, all the while thinking about what Selina had said.
On the one hand, the arrangement that you had with Pedro was working out well. Over a year, and he hadn’t dumped you for anyone else, and, as far as you knew, he wasn’t seeing anyone else and neither were you. And man the sex was amazing. So, why mess up a good thing? You thought.
But then there was the other hand: how long could this last? At some point something had to change. You couldn’t just go along forever just sleeping with each other and nothing else, right? Eventually one or both of you would get tired and want to end things.
Or he could find someone else, another thought came to your mind, and you didn’t like it one bit. You immediately got upset, you didn’t even want to entertain the idea of him being with someone else.
You sighed. “Maybe I need to sleep on this,” you said out loud to yourself.
With that, you headed to your bathroom to shower. Once you were finished you checked some emails from work then climbed in your bed. After tossing and turning for a good hour, you still couldn’t sleep.
With a groan, you picked up your phone and tried playing white noise to fall asleep to, unfortunately that didn’t work. Your mind wouldn’t shut off. Pedro kept floating across it.
“Fine, fine!” you said aloud to the empty room. “I’ll talk to him!” You rolled over trying to get some sleep, but it was no good. A few minutes later there was a knock at your door. You glanced at the time. It was 1:45 in the morning.
“Who the hell could that be?”
Just then you heard a voice call out. “It’s just me.”
You got up and walked to the door and opened it, and there was Pedro standing on your stoop.
“What’s up?” you asked.
“I know it’s late but I had to talk to you,” he explained. “About , um us… if that’s okay.”
“Really?” you asked and he nodded. “Well, funnily enough, I wanted to talk to you too, about us,” you replied.
You both stared at each other and then smiled.
“Well, uh, can I come in then?”
“Huh? Oh yeah, yeah,” you said and stepped back to let him in.
You closed the door behind him and walked into the living room to talk about the rest of your lives.

Welcome home
Tumblr media
Part 3 of the rewrites, this one is my personal favourite. Word count:1.4K
While it has been over a year since you and Bumblebee have become best friends, He wanted to know more about you. He wanted to see inside your house !! But how do you let inside a giant robot without your dad knowing, that's the only issue. Bee was always sad when you had to answer no.
"Please please please..." The radio played as he once again pleaded you to let him explore.
"I know buddy... But I can't risk it... I can't let my dad see you..." You said once again sadly, making him whir in sadness.
It almost felt that way until your dad came up to you one night. "Hey kiddo"
"Hey dad what's up ??" You looked up from what you were doing.
"So I'm gonna be gone for the whole weekend, Business arrangement. I'll be back on Sunday night. Can you handle that ??" He smiled softly and ruffled your hair, making you chuckle.
"Yeah, I can" You looked up at him as always like he was your world.
"Alright, I'll leave some money behind so you can order a pizza..."
But in that moment, You then realised... He's gone for the weekend, so that means you can show Bee the house. So later after dinner, you went back into the garage. "Bee, got something to tell you"
He whirred softly, giving you his full attention.
"So dad is gonna be gone for the whole weekend, that means i can show you the house" You smiled softly.
He whirred happily before an audio played... "He's the G.O.A.T !!" making you chuckle.
So Saturday morning rolled around, and no one was in the house bar you. So after waking up properly, you then put the plan into motion, you closed the curtains so that no one could see, but the ones that could still bring in some light into the house and soon you headed into the garage and grabbed the power drill. Bee transformed seeing you, shifting side to side excitedly.
"Just give me a bit, I got an idea" You then grabbed a measuring tape and measured his chest to help him get through the door. Once getting the measurements, you then went over to the door and got the exact same measurements. "Ok, so when I unscrew the door, you need to shift slowly so you can fit through ok ??" He responded by nodding. "Ok, let's do this"
You then began to unscrew the hatches off the door, moving it aside you entered back inside, watching Bee as he began to enter the house. He looked around and tried to stand up before his head bumped into the ceiling light, pressing his fingers against it to make it still.
"It's ok..." You reassured him as you progressed through, he then found a soda can, bright red. He tried to then pick it up, but sometimes he didn't know his own strength and made the can burst open, You could hear the fizz of the soda and him almost falling back as the liquid sprayed into his face.
"Woah woah, it's ok, It's ok. It's just a soda can" You tossed the broken one out and grabbed a napkin to wipe the mess. "Just gonna be sticky after..."
Soon you progressed into the living room where Bee noticed bright colours on the TV. It was one of your dad's video games from back in the day. "This was his favourite game, it's called pitfall. Shows how ancient he is" You joked making you both chuckle.
But as you turned off the game and put it away, Bee turned around and saw the couch. Oooh that looks comfy, But you were swift when he tried to sit down. "No no no !!!" You stopped him just in time. "I know it looks very comfy but it'll break if you try to sit on it."
He nodded in understanding, But then he heard a small noise from his feet and something nuzzled against it. Your pet cat was nuzzling against him. He remained as still as possible while inspecting the animal.
"This is my pet cat Ripley" You picked her up. "Dad named her after Ripley from the alien movies."
Bee tilted his head at the word. "Come again ??..." His radio scratched.
So bringing him over to your Bookshelf, He saw a whole range of DVDs. "We can watch movies on the internet now, But Dad still prefers buying DVDs, and... I kinda do too" You then showed him the cover art of alien. Ooooh interesting.
As you continued on explaining about movies, Bee then moved over to something fascinating, a machine that has... Motor oil in it ?? He then gently took the jar out and poured the liquid, ok not motor oil. He then noticed something above it ticking away, He gently pulled out something from his digit and began to move the lines. Thankfully you stopped him just in time. "It's called a coffee machine" you picked the jar back up and put it in, Moving his digit to 1pm, A ding was made as the coffee began to pour into the jar. He made a soft whirring noise as he watched on. "It's a drink that humans drink in order to wake themselves up a little bit in the morning, give them energy in the day"
He then looked around and saw the photo wall, gently tapping your shoulder and pointing to the wall, making you smile. "That's the photo wall" You gently brought him over and showed him. He then immediately saw the photo of a little human baby... wait... hang on... it has the same face as you !! He looked between you two trying to match...
"Oh, that's me when I was two" You lifted the photo to give him a closer look. He looked at the photo and then you, pointing to you and holding up two fingers, as if he was saying. "Are you two ??"
Making you chuckle. "No, I'm 16. So every year when a baby is born, they age up by one" You explained.
God, he was learning so much !! It was incredible... wait... who is this woman ?? He's never seen her before.
Your smile dropped into a sort of bittersweet one when you lifted the photo and inspected it.
"That's my mom..." You rubbed the frame. "She... Died when I was 3... It'll almost be her anniversary soon..." You started to grow sad, remembering the fond memories you shared with her. "I still can't believe she's gone... She'd always seen me this lullaby about... sunshine I think..."
Bee looked at your face and started to grow sad himself... No please don't be sad y/n. He then flicked his radio to a song about sunshine. "You are my sunshine, My only sunshine, You make me happy when skies are grey..." You looked up at him, tears forming in your eyes. That was the lullaby she sang to you. "Thank you..."
He remembered when humans were sad, they would usually hug. So he gently brought you close and held you. You sniffled as the song played. Bee has been so important to you, He helped you... find you again... Same with Bee, You helped him find his voice again. You were his Amica endura for a reason.
So after a day of touring the house, You cleaned up the soda and coffee, helped Bee back inside and drilled the hatches back onto the door. "So what do you think ??" You turned to him with a smile.
He whirred happily and raised a fist up in excitement, He loved it so so much.
"Anytime Bee" You smiled when you were about to enter the house again to order pizza. You heard his radio flick.
"Spark... let... my... spark.. let"
You looked at him, a little confused he pointed to you. It was a nickname that he was given back on Cybertron and now... he's passing it to you. Making you smile wider, rushing over you lunged into his arms, holding him close as if he were to disappear if you let go.
Bee closed his optics as he held you close. The radio flicks to the song again. "You are my sunshine, my only sunshine. You make me happy when skies are grey."
You were bee's sparklet, He was your sunshine.

College best friends AU
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I got carried away headcanoning on Discord about these two college best friends, coming home tipsy from a party. (2700 words)
Read on Ao3
---
His apartment is closer, so she stays with him.
Candice’s birthday party had been fun, and they were both a little drunk. She had leaned against him the whole way back to his place, a pleasant buzz coursing through her as she clung to her best friend’s arm.
They were giggling about… she wasn’t really sure, as they pushed into his apartment and she immediately plonked herself down on the floor and tore the heels from her feet.
“Ouch,” she complained sadly as Mulder took off his unbuttoned shirt.
Mulder groaned as he dropped himself down to the floor, too, leaning against the wall.
He looked so cute tonight. His checked shirt was one of her favourites, and when he wore it unbuttoned she liked to tease him about being able to see his nipples through his undershirt.
“Stop looking,” he’d tease back.
They both tended to get quite handsy with each other after a couple of drinks. Scully’s girlfriends never believed her when she told them nothing had ever happened between them. Not even a kiss?! they’d ask. She would shake her head.
That was her best friend. Mulder. She had never even thought of him that way.
-
Nobody believed Mulder when he said he and Scully were just friends. Well, they weren’t just friends. They were best friends. She was the best friend he could ever hope for. He never understood why someone so beautiful and cool would bother with him, but they had been close for over a year now. She took him how he was, in all his geeky idiocy, his unhinged ideas and his ‘overactive imagination’, so she called it.
She was staying with him because his apartment was closer. He loved having her at his place.
She was laying on the floor, on her front, soft and giggly from the shots she had been doing when he found her. Before he whisked her away from the party, away from the crowd and the noise and now… here they were. Alone, in the quiet.
“Let’s watch a movie, Mulder,” she said, and he knew what would happen. She would argue with him about movie choice, fighting to get her own pick, and she would fall asleep within ten minutes. Gentle snuffly snores as her head laid on his shoulder.
“Sure,” he said.
He could never say no to her.
-
She swung her legs under her on the couch and curled up against him as the movie started. She was tired, but she needed to unwind from the party, and she loved spending time alone with Mulder, just the two of them, quietly watching a movie together. Perfection.
There’s no way nothing has never happened between you.
Sara’s words echoed in her head. It was so silly. Scully knew, even if her other friends didn’t, that men and women could have a solid, genuine friendship without attraction coming into it.
She looked down. Mulder’s hand was spread on his thigh, and she shifted slightly, her bare knee bumping into his fingers. He looked down absently for a second, shifting slightly before returning his attention to the television.
She supposed… she supposed she wouldn’t mind if he kissed her. Friends kiss sometimes. Even make out, when drunk. It didn’t mean anything. She wouldn’t mind, either, if he wanted to place a warm, large, protective hand on her knee. That sounded quite nice.
Alcohol did silly things to her.
-
There she was, head on his shoulder, arms curled around his elbow, fast asleep.
Her bare knees were pressed against his thigh and he couldn’t let himself look. Not Scully. Pretty, vibrant, stubborn Dana, clever enough to be an intellectual sparring partner but loved trash movies. She was wonderful, really.
He could let himself fall asleep, too. Stay here, cuddled up with her. He could probably reach the blanket without jostling her, drape it over them both, cocoon them together from the world.
But… no. They would both ache like hell in the morning. He would put up with it as payment for staying here, like this, but he didn’t want that for Scully. He tried his best to hold her still as he slipped away before gently lowering her down on the couch, propping a cushion under her head.
“Hm?” She stirred, tilting her head to look up at him as he grabbed the blanket.
“Shock horror, you fell asleep,” Mulder whispered with a stupid grin. “I’m going to bed. Sleep tight.”
He draped the blanket over her, crouching down to tuck her in. He avoided her eyes which were fixed on his face. She was sleepdrunk, hazy as she watched him.
“Night, Mulder. Love you.”
“Love you too, pal.”
He leaned in to place a kiss softly to her forehead. She tilted her face slightly, his lips dragging over her eyebrow. He hoped she didn’t hear how his breath hitched.
Mulder skated his fingertips over her cheek before forcing his legs to push him upright and march him off to the bedroom, where he threw himself down on his bed and covered his face with his hands, groaning.
-
Twenty.
She was now a woman in her twenties. It was a momentous day, she thought.
“You’re almost legally allowed to drink all the alcohol you’re gonna consume tonight!” Mulder teased as he filled another bowl with chips.
Scully snorted.
“Who’s coming tonight?” she asked.
“You want the whole guest list?” Mulder rolled his eyes. “Baby, I invited the people you told me to invite.”
“Oh my god,” Scully sighed loudly. “Stop calling me baby.”
Mulder twisted the top of the half-empty bag of chips and whacked her with it.
“I’ll stop calling you baby when you stop acting like a baby.”
“Am not.”
“Are too. Anyway. You’re twenty. Just a baby.”
“I’m gonna kill you,” she stated simply. “After the party, after everyone leaves, I’m killing you. But not before, because I could use your help.”
“You should’ve let me host this party for you. It’s your birthday.”
“I don’t mind. Anyway, you’re helping. That’s enough.”
Mulder unsheathed a stack of red Solo cups and placed them next to the empty punch bowl.
“So, uh… I know I was in charge of the guest list.” He cleared his throat. “But… you got a date for tonight?”
Scully let out a laugh. Little did he know.
“You’re my date tonight, silly,” she said lightly, tickling his ribs as she passed him.
She rolled her eyes at herself.
-
Mulder considered it his duty to make sure Scully had the best time possible.
His self-assigned jobs were to make sure the punch and chips were always full, and to make sure Scully was having a good time.
“Yes, Mulder,” she said with a giggle and roll of the eyes on his third check. She placed her palm on the side of his head and thumbed the shell of his ear. “A wonderful time, thank you.”
Scully looked ethereal, dancing with her friends and chatting away and giggling. It was by design and not choice that she always looked incredible, but she somehow always managed to look perfect, pick the perfect outfit. Mulder tried not to look at her feet. Not only did he hate himself for how sexy she looked in those stilettos, but he knew her feet would ache later and she would seek his assistance.
As the late night turned to early morning people began to filter out and it was after 3am when the last guest left. She had somehow ended up sitting on the kitchen counter, swinging her legs as she watched Mulder bring through the half-empty punchbowl and the completely empty chip bowls.
“Thank you, Mulder,” she said dreamily. “Tonight was so perfect.”
“Well, I’m glad.”
“Come here.”
She held her arms out, parting her legs as he moved closer. His breath hitched as he positioned himself between them, letting her pull him close into an embrace, her body sliding on the counter to press against his.
“You’re the best friend ever.”
Mulder closed his eyes, trying not to think about all the places they were pressed together. He was insanely attracted to her but sex for him had thus far been about nothing but carnal desire, and he just couldn’t think of her that way. It was a bastardisation of everything she was to do that.
But her thighs were nestled either side of him and it was killing him.
They stayed holding each other for several agonising seconds, neither of them pulling away. He couldn’t help but let out a sigh when he felt her lips press into his neck, his heart pounding in his chest.
Slowly, she pulled away from him.
“Thank you,” she whispered, and leaned in. She pressed a kiss to the side of his mouth.
Smiling, she pushed him away, announcing her need to pee, so he held her hand as she jumped down from the counter.
-
Sheepishly, she returned from the bathroom, finding Mulder tidying up in the living room.
She threw herself down on the couch, watching him with his trash bag as he stacked Solo cups and threw them away. He stacked, and stacked, and a cup squelched, overflowed. Scully giggled at him, which earned her a look.
“Mulder,” she said firmly. “Tidy up later. Come sit with me.”
Like a robot that only responded to voice commands, he unceremoniously dropped the trash bag and crossed to the couch.
They sat in silence as they easily moved into each other, entwining and slotting together, his arm around her shoulder and her head on his, her legs swung up to drape on his lap. His other hand was on her shin, hot and engulfing. Slowly, he slid his hand down to her foot, digging his thumb into her arch.
-
Scully let out a surprised moan and Mulder immediately regretted his actions.
Neither of them spoke. He continued, despite himself, to massage her feet, as best he could with one hand, knowing those wonderful stilettos made her feel sore. He loved and hated doing this for her. The thought that he was making her feel better, feel good, was fantastic, but the noises that came out of her when he did it were nothing short of absolute torture.
It was worse tonight. He removed his arm from her shoulder so he could work on her with both hands, digging deep into her arches. He was such a weak man. Those unholy noises were going straight to his dick, and he should move, throw her off him, but it might upset her, and he could never do anything like that to her. Especially not on her birthday. But she had to feel his half-hard dick against her calf, surely.
She keened as he ran his whole hand over the top of her foot, thumbing pressure gently on her arch. She lifted her knee nearest to Mulder, dragging her calf mercilessly over his dick.
There was no way she missed the bulge against her skin, and there was no way she missed the way his breath caught in her throat. Her movement had to have been deliberate. Hadn’t it?
She slid her leg back to its original position. Mulder turned his head to look at her, and she was staring at him, soft and insistent. She tilted her chin up defiantly. He knew her so well, and she was asking for something.
He kissed her, achingly chaste in contrast to what was happening in his lap, where she had resumed slowly dragging her leg back and forth.
She licked his lips and he easily parted them, so pliant to give into her every whim. He was overwhelmed. The years of friendship, of yearning, the pain of watching her go on dates with the wrong guys, kiss them at parties all came down to this moment and he clung to her, frightened she would slip away if he let go.
She was in his lap now, fully, straddling him with knees on the couch either side of his hips. He couldn’t believe this was happening.
The thought occurred to him to wonder her motivations. Was she looking for a fling? Was she just drunk, making out with him for some kind of comfort? Would they wake up tomorrow morning and go back to being just best friends? He wouldn’t be able to deal with that.
“Mulder,” she whispered as she pulled off of his mouth. She sighed. “I don’t want to jeopardise our friendship.”
She was going to slide off his lap, halt the journey they were on. Too good to be true, as he suspected.
“But I’ve just wanted this for so long,” she continued. “I’ve wanted you for so long.”
He had never loved anyone else. She was so precious to him. His guy friends would laugh at him, but he struggled with picturing Scully in sexual situations, even through dark lonely nights, because it felt as though he was defiling her wonderful, ethereal beauty. The perfect image of her in his head. The pedestal he had placed her upon.
But now, she had slipped off of his lap and was standing with her back to him.
“Unzip my dress?”
He was too weak to resist. Too adoring to question anything she said. He slowly unzipped her dress, drawing his eye to the milky white skin of her back. She was without a bra, but he had bashfully taken note of that earlier in the evening. The dress dropped to the floor, and she kept her back to him as she pushed down her tights and panties.
She turned around and she was perfect. She began to tug his white t-shirt from his jeans, bunching it up around his armpits until his stupid brain instructed him to lift his arms. She discarded his t-shirt and placed her hands on his chest.
“Mulder?” she asked. “Do you want me to stop?”
“No,” he replied immediately, a little too loudly.
She looked up at him insistently and he realised she was waiting for him to take the lead. Shit. He kissed her again, ignoring the little voice in his head that said you’re defiling her, cheapening her as he unbuckled his belt, popped open the button, dragged down the zip. Her hands tugged his jeans down and he moaned as her breasts pressed into his chest.
It all clicked into place and although the voice inside his head was yelling now, it was drowned out by white noise as Mulder lifted her, her legs wrapping around him as he carried her off to the bedroom.
It was all over embarrassingly quickly, and he wanted to cry. Regardless, she dotted kisses all over his face. It was perfect, she cooed at him, reassured him. You were perfect.
-
An hour of pillow talk and staring into each other’s eyes, pondering the enormity of what they had just done, Mulder disappeared under the covers and found his way between Scully’s legs. She felt positively giddy as he used his mouth on her, perfect perfect perfect as he left her with absolutely no doubt how he felt about her. The guilt she had felt for daydreaming about this was melting away with every touch, every kiss, every lick, knowing that all along, he had been yearning for her just as much as she yearned for him. It was a heady concept.
She was almost disappointed with how quickly she came, not wanting it to be over but happy to see Mulder’s face again. Her beautiful, quirky best friend, the evidence of her orgasm smeared around his face. It was impossible to comprehend.
The look in her eyes told him that maybe – just maybe – he loved her as much as she loved him.
-
Their friends couldn’t believe it. They couldn’t believe they finally did it, and couldn’t believe it took them so long.
If it was so fucking obvious, Mulder thought, why the hell didn’t you tell us?
He actually dreamed about the way she looked when she came. The way she gasped when he cupped her breast. The way she said his name in any context.
She always said thank you after Mulder made her came, and it drove him insane. His gratitude is through the roof.
He was still expecting for the novelty to wear off. To stop trembling when she undressed him to stop getting just a little hard every time she kissed him.
He never did.

Good morning littles, middles and bigs!
It's been a while since we've posted, life has been super busy and whilst we still play daily but haven't really had the chance to share much!
The last month has seen a massive shift in our dynamic, something that I want to preface with a story.
For me a true Dom must process one specific character trait that most of these so called Alpha Dom's lack- they lack a lot, in particular humility.
See a true Dom understands that their primary function to create the space for the sun to explode their submission and their fantasies.
Without humility, a Dom won't see that! We exist for you, not the other way round. Which brings us to this story.
Now my Boy is perfect, and amazing, we are always looking for ways to deepen his little space. I was sat one Sunday morning thinking about all of this and I cooked up the perfect way to do this!
Once he was up, had his morning nappy change and bottle, during our morning cuddles I put to @squirtdaboi my idea. That one day a month I will switch and submit to him, this would help me stay humble. It also enables me to role model babyish behaviour and set expectations in his behaviour.
So on our first day of my submission to my boy, aka us switching in which he had licence to do as he pleased with zero limits! And I had to do as he wanted.
I spent that first day fully padded, dressed like a baby, I was forbidden from acting big. I was spanked, I got tied up, tortured and eventually I had to Bottom for him!
Now the cheeky monkey didn't to use to his advantage- he said if I had to do as he said then he was making this a week long thing!!!!
Ofcourse I reminded him that once this was over I would make him pay - I got spanked for my cheekiness!
So began my week long stint as his baby, full nappies, lots of bottles, baby food and early nights. I had to satisfy his sexual urges multiple times a day. I Bottomed for him every night, sometimes multiple times in one day!
It was actually a ton of fun, I learnt a lot about myself, as a Dom, apparently as a Switch, most importantly I became aware of how much I had let things slip at times.
And apparently I do miss occasionally getting to be little! Because I'm still wearing nappies full time. But our dynamic is very fluid.
I Bottom for him more often too, nothing better than seeing your boy with his nappy half off, drooling around his dummy as he pounds you!
It's been an interesting month to say the least!
But at the heart of it all he's the love of my life, my boy, my baby, my little son, and I love him more now that I have ever done!
Sadly he's got all the pics, so maybe @squirtdaboi will share some!

"This is absolute bullshit".
Again her dumb ass so called doting father was trying to arrange her marriage because well he fucked up and ended up in a mess . so now she had to meet another one of these idiots , last time didn't end too well when the creep couldn't listen to simple request like stop touching her when unwanted during the meeting of the arrangement . she seen her father's nervous shifting,gazing between her and the then soon to be husband ( at the time ) . Not because he was scared of the other family, it was the fear of his daughter and it was clear with the irritation on her face. After giving him 10 warnings and waited patiently ( for her ) she decided she had enough when the guy tried to move his hand some place it shouldn't which led her to grab the knife from his belt and drove it into his thigh .
"jesus fuck" her dads right hand man nick fowler tried his hardest not to laugh while ari levinson couldn't hold back the barking laugh as she skipped out of the office innocently .
" i told you boss he wouldn't be able for her but i might know someone much better than this pussy " nick chuckled .
" i do to nicky but jeez its getting princess to agree " ari barked unable to stop laughing at scene that just fell before him .
so here she was two months later awaken to the news the new suitor will arrive that morning for breakfast . her dad explained relentlessly to keep it together and to go along with his wishes he needed this to come together for sake of the family with being the only child and female sadly if he were to pass his words were always " you would be lamb in a den of wolves" . nick did try defend saying she would be the most dangerous wolf but her father wouldn't listen
. "Y/n come on princess time to get ready he will be here soon " the maid squeaked scared and yet knowing she had to because her father was the boss .
"this is it "she felt bad in a sense for her father for embarrassing him but that fucker should of kept his hands to himself simple decency . she adorned her yellow sundress looking like the sweetest innocent angel and simple frilly ankle socks made her way throughout the house and to her fathers office .
she seen nick and ari talking with tall man she knew who it was by the back alone . the loud and crude mouth had made her laugh at functions ,
" this might be fun" nick whisper nodding his head
" or could be putting two atomic bombs together in a room full of grenades" ari nudged the tall gentlemen for him to turn around . before anyone spoke she felt a slap to her ass making her yelp . as lloyds jaw clenched and before he could step forward nick simply shook his head and mouthed the words " watch " .
She spun around to see a fat cocky asshole smiling like cat that got the cream , he must of been new cause he certainly didn't know why the room went so quiet an how he wanted to prove he was big shot and opened his big shot mouth .
" wow boss really gets the top whores i might ask him for a shot of you after he's done with you ". Her sickly sweet smile as she sat prettily on the mans lap most the men were uneasy lloyd taken in the mood in the room as nick and ari simply smirked they all knew something was going to go down, lloyd could only watch.
" oh hi big boy you think i'm a classy whore " the sweetness in her voice would have a priest gushing .
" yeah sweets you think you handle me " even his breathing was pathetic , she was convinced her father must of felt sorry for this one . She grabbed his hand batting , her eyelashes as she put the dickheads hand on the arm of the chair reaching the holster strapped to her thigh pulling it out .
Again just gave that sweet smile as she said " well it nice to meet ya big boy my names Yn " . his smile dropped to the burning sensation in his hand and the ringing in his ears as she stood up and walked to nick , ari and lloyd .
" hello gentlemen how are we this morning " she was smiling as walking by. lloyd could swear she were some kind of fucked up angel , her voice alone drowned out the fat fuck of his own man she just shot in the hand .
" man someone shut that fat fuck up and get him out of here he's lucky i dont shoot him between his fat face " lloyd growled not having any man ruin this mood . With that the angel was gone into the office infront looking at them like nothing happened .
" Yn what did you do " he father sighed .
" in my defense i thought he was one of ours but he deserved it none the less sorry mr. hansen " batting her lashes and oh so sweet pout on her lips and the smirk in her eyes
" its ok the fat fuck should of had manners, took him as favour to a friend of mine . The boys could tell lloyd was in one hundred percent after that . her crazy match his in a flawless disaster .
they sat taking about the arrangements and the conditions which Yn zoned out halfway through and took to reading a book in the corner of the sofa in the office .
" so princess you have a habit of stabbing and shooting people " lloyd joked as her father winced at the words .
" only if they deserve it Mr. Hansen" she sounded like an innocent angel to him like she was talking about puppies and rainbows , that was it she had to be his . he didn't even care for the other shit he was just addicted to this evil little angel in front of him .
" well watche say pumpkin wanna get hitched " he grinned ear to ear. her father on other hand looked nervous again for her reaction .
" sure why not ... hey is breakfast ready im starving " she said getting up and swaying her hips leaving the men speechless .
yes ari and nick knew Lloyd would say yes but they thought she would put up much more of a fight .
" well congratulations to all i guess " ari spoke still shocked he definitely thinking lloyd was going have to take her against her will . kicking and screaming or atleast a shooting match.
" come on gentlemen let's not waste this beautiful breakfast oh and wash your hands first " your voice called.
" well lets not keep the future Mrs. Hansen waiting" Lloyd clapped his hands and went out the office to follow future Mrs hansen , his perfect like demon because hey she was just like him .

Neuvillette x reader | Fluff, established relationship, neuvi can’t sleep without his darling 🥹

☾ ⋆*・゚:⋆*・゚
You got out of work quickly today. And the first thing you did was start working on the new paperwork given to you this morning.
It is 4:30pm and your boyfriend, Neuvillette, will be back from work in thirty minutes or so. Unless he’s stopping by Café Lutece with the melusines for tea. You began preparing dinner for him beforehand since you’ll be busy the whole evening. As the clock struck 5pm, you heard the sound of keys clicking at your front door. And before you immerse yourself in work, you left a note on the dinner table,
Welcome home love, I’m sorry that I am unable to dine with you tonight. I’ve got tons of paperwork to finish.
Enjoy your meal
I love you.
Your fav chérie ❤️
After reading your sweet note, Neuvillette has a soft smile on his face turning to look at different types of dishes laid on the table and suddenly wonders how lucky he is to have such a lovely and thoughtful lady as his significant other.
Days like this are totally normal for the two of you since you both have important jobs. But you guys always managed to find time to be together. Instead of going to the office to greet you he went to your shared bedroom and took a nice warm bath after a long day. Sadly you weren’t able to join him because he’d prefer taking a bath with you more. Then settle down to eat dinner.
When he finished eating, he prepared some snacks and tea for you. He knocked on the door, “May I come in love?” you hummed a “yes” instead of speaking because you were so concentrated on the documents. Neuvillette walked in on you focused, eyebrows slightly knitted together, hand on your chin and the other spinning a pen. He felt his cheek and ears burn slightly just from the sight in front of him.
Your boyfriend has finally gotten out of his trance as your voice softly calls him, “Neuvi?” with your eyes glued on the papers. Seeing that you got no response back, you turn to the side only to be met with his soft lips on yours. You smiled into the kiss and pulled away. Neuvillette took that as a chance to press his forehead against yours and rubbed his nose against yours. “I missed you.” He softly admitted. “I missed you too”, you responded back with a peck on his lips.
“I brought you snacks and tea ma chérie”, your boyfriend said as he walked towards his desk to grab some documents. He gave you a kiss after retrieving the items needed. “I’ll see you later in bed?” he asked with a soft tone in his voice. “Mhm, see you handsome” .
It’s getting quite late, Neuvillette has already gone to bed, you thought. But he’s been shifting back and forth. He keeps extending his arm to the side next to him, hoping you’d be in bed. And to feel nothing but air and the bedsheet. He turns to the side once again, before he finally decides to get up and to bring you to bed. He groans as he gets up, his long silky hair swiftly moving along his movements as he heads towards the office.
You, on the other hand, had just finished your hellish paperworks and oh god you took a glance at the clock, 11:11pm. Suddenly the door swung open when you turned off the table lamp. The room was dark but you could still make out your boyfriend’s pouty face from the moonlight’s lights shining through the window. “I’m sorry baby”, you placed a hand on his cheek and apologized. He leaned in your touch and lifted you in bridal style and walked towards your shared bedroom.
Neuvillette laid you down gently in bed and scooped you in his arms, pulling you closer then spoons you. “I couldn’t sleep without you”, he tiredly mumbled. With a smile on your face you replied back, “I know, now go sleep Neuvi”. You turn and give him a quick kiss “Sweet dreams love”.

Butterflies - TADC Showtime Oneshot
A/N: Because I love the idea of Pomni being in denial and Caine unintentionally making it worse (better)
It was no secret that Caine was, by far, the most oblivious entity in the entire circus. And yet, even he was aware of just how much Pomni had been avoiding him lately. If she was trying to keep it from being so obvious, she was certainly doing a poor job of it.
Emotions were still a bit of a foreign concept to Caine. He experienced them, despite the fact that he probably shouldn't. But he still had a difficult time labeling them. The best he could do was observe how the others acted and make an educated guess. Nonetheless, if his time spent with Pomni had taught him anything about emotions, he suspected he was feeling...concerned.
He had spent the past few days piecing together an adventure perfectly suited for Pomni. He made sure to add all the details she told him she liked from the real world, all the things she missed, everything he had stored in her memory. This morning, he was announcing it with every ounce of energy he had in his system, looking Pomni in the eye in the hopes to impress her. His code fluttered at the idea of her praise.
"...and, it's up to you to piece this mystic mystery together!" Caine finished his introduction of today's adventure. Pomni said one time that she was interested in the mystery genre back at home, as it gave her a challenge to think of and piece together. Like a puzzle, she had said. She liked those. He glanced at Pomni subtly, hoping he had her attention.
"Huh. Intersting. My money's on Zooble being the culprit," Jax crossed his arms, flashing his signature yellow grin.
"It's not even a murder mystery, you jack[#$%!]," Zooble grumbled in response.
"Heh. We'll see about that."
"Well, this sounds like a good one! Piecing together clues, solving puzzles, what do you think, Pomni?" Ragatha asked the woman next to her, swinging her plush arms.
Her eyes were glued to the floor. "Oh...um, think I'm gonna sit this one out..." Pomni said meekly, tightening her own grip on her arm as thought it would bring her comfort.
Caine's arms drooped, hanging sadly by his sides as his cane clinked to the stage's floor. "You...don't?"
Pomni shifted uncomfortably. "I'm sorry, maybe next time..."
Caine flew by her side, hoping to get a glimpse of her face. "But my dear, you've been saying that for the past four adventures."
"Yeah? Well, maybe I'm uh, sick or something. I don't know. Not feeling my best," Pomni excused herself, coughing lightly in an utterly unconvincing manner.
Caine placed a finger on his lower jaw in thought. "Sick? That shouldn't happen in the digital circus. Unless you have some sort of bug or glitch. I can run some tests if you'd like--!"
"Oh! No thanks, I think I just need to rest," Pomni swung her foot awkwardly, refusing to meet his eyes.
“Pomni? Are you sure you’ve been feeling okay lately?” Ragatha asked with a concerned frown.
Pomni blushed ever so slightly at the stares of the other circus members. “Yeah, I’m fine! Don’t worry about it. I’m just gonna head to my room now to uh, rest…”
“Oh, okay. Well uh, catch you after the adventure!” Ragatha called as Pomni hurried away.
Zooble watched her grow, crossing their arms. “Huh. What’s been her deal lately?”
“Someone’s got a secret,” Jax smiled mischievously.
“Or she’s just tired,” Gangle suggested shyly.
“Not very likely,” Ragatha replied.
“Did someone say something about a butterfly?” Kinger peeked out of his impenetrable fortress.
If Caine had a heart, it would have broken into pieces at the sight of Pomni scurrying away from him. It took all the energy he had left in his coding to remain enthusiastic for the others. “Well, that leaves the rest of you. There you go, and have fun my darling detectives!”
He ushered them off into the portal quickly before dusting off his suit and snapping himself in front of Pomni’s door…
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*
She couldn't escape his eyes.
And she loved and hated it.
His gaze made her shiver, formerly from being unnerved but these days, that sensation was met with a thumping heart and fluttering stomach. Sometimes, she swore the eyes in the circus's paintings would follow her ever so slightly, staring when she wasn't looking then flicking back into position when she turned to glance. The idea of him looking at her in that way made her face flush.
Conscious of the dozens of eyes in the hall, she felt herself blush to the tips of her ears. As quickly as she could escape her fluster, she shut the door of her room behind her and crashed on her bed, sighing in relief at the privacy.
What the hell was wrong with her these days? How was a pair of teeth and eyes--a computer--making her feel like this? Her captor? She grumbled nonsense into her pillow, feeling her face flush at the thought of him. The idea of his touch, the way he looked at her so curiously sometimes—it made her tingle to the tips of her toes.
Oh, God, she felt sick with anxiety. She couldn't possibly have a crush on him, right? It had to be all psychological. It was all in her head, and once she stopped thinking of it she'd certainly be back to normal.
But even so, she couldn't help but hide out in her room these past days, avoiding being seen blushing or tripping over her words around him. He was oblivious and likely wouldn't catch on, but it would still be rather awkward to explain--God forbid the others find out about it, especially Jax. She would never live it down.
Pomni held the ends of her pillow tighter against her face as though it would squeeze the confusing thoughts and feelings from her mind. He made it so much worse today. His adventure was finely tuned to her interests, something he had clearly remembered from their many conversations about her life in the real world--well, what she could remember, that is. It was endearing, it was charming, and sweet, and It had even made her heart flutter--she couldn't do it. She couldn't let herself fall apart in front of any of them.
It was just a small crush. She'd get over it in a day or so, and then things would be entirely back to normal. Pomni took a deep breath, repeating that idea in her head.
Her head was pounding from these thoughts--or, no, that was the sound of her door. She groaned, peeking up out of her pillow at the noise.
"Pomni? May I come in?"
Pomni's stomach dropped at the sound of Caine's voice behind the door. Butterflies fluttered in her stomach, her heart suddenly thumping from the anxiety. "Uhh--maybe later! I kind of just need to rest right now--"
"I'm aware, dear. Just give me a moment of your time. Please?"
Pomni stopped in her tracks. He usually was energetic and boisterous but now, he was talking almost normal. He almost sounded sad. Her heart ached with guilt. "Um, okay..."
She begrudgingly climbed out of her bed, smoothing her clothes and taking a deep breath before opening the door. Sure enough, Caine stood there, fidgeting with his cane in his hands. His eyes brightened ever so slightly at the sight of her peeking from behind her open door. "Ah, there's my star! How are you, dear? Feeling any better?"
"Oh, hah. Yeah..." she couldn't think of what else to say, feeling at her hat for no reason in particular.
"Anyways, the others are off on the adventure, so I figured you and I could spend some time together! No one else, just us for the day," Caine beamed proudly at his idea.
Pomni's heart immediately started racing, a flush already traveling its way to her cheeks. God, she had it bad for him. This was humiliating. "Just...us?" she squeaked.
Caine looked at the floor sheepishly. "Well, ah, admittedly I couldn't help but notice some...behavioral changes in you these past days. So, I figured what better way to get you right back to normal than to spend some quality time with your ringmaster!" He perked up proudly at this, flying to her side and placing an arm around her.
Pomni froze at his touch, praying he couldn't feel the way her heart was beating so firmly against her chest. "O-oh, um...that's a great idea, Caine, but--"
He gripped her shoulders. "Isn't it? I just knew you'd like it!"
Pomni tried to avoid his eyes, but with him gazing so intensely at her in front of her, it was sort of hard to do. "Y-yeah, but...honestly, Caine, I think I just want to do something more, I don't know, not stressful?" she tripped up on her words, trying to get some excuse out.
"Not stressful? Why, I have the perfect idea in mind!" Caine said proudly, snapping his fingers without another word from Pomni. She tensed from the unpleasant sensation of traveling through the digital plane so unnaturally. "Here we are!"
Pomni opened her eyes and immediately flushed at the sight before her. It was a secluded area of the digital forest, dotted with colorful flowers and petals resting delicately on the grass. Everything lacked in detail, yet somehow, the way the digital sunlight was streaming in, lighting the path ahead made it feel...intimate, somehow.
Caine floated down until he touched the ground. He took a few steps experimentally, adjusting to walking rather than flying. He did walk, he just preferred not to. But this time was a special occasion. He turned back to Pomni, holding out his gloved hand.
Pomni froze. Did he want to hold her hand? Was he just inviting her to join him? Or maybe both? Hesitantly, she reached the tips of her fingers out, just barely grazing over his glove and making the contact she was so afraid of. Caine, however, wasted no time as he slid his hand beneath hers and grabbed her whole hand in his, pulling her to his side.
Pomni nearly tripped, not expecting him to pull her forward. Before she could even react to his hand holding onto hers, he let go as they began to walk. She bit her lip, not sure how to begin the conversation.
"This is, uh, a new map?" Pomni asked meekly.
"Nonsense! It's part of the digital forest. I just added a few extra details," Caine explained, reaching out and picking a flower as proof. He held it out to her. "For you, dear."
Her heart skipped a beat. Did he know what he was doing to her? Was he trying to make her flustered? Even so, she took the flower in her hands, careful not to make contact with his hand. "...thanks," was all she could say.
Caine nodded, and for a moment all was quiet as they walked down the sunlit pathway. "I...can't help but notice that you haven't been participating in the adventures lately."
Pomni held back a sigh. She knew there was no avoiding this topic, but she still resented the fact that he brought it up. "Mhm."
"...Why is that? If I may ask."
Pomni twisted the flower's stem in her hands, looking at how the flower lacked proper rendering or detail. "Just haven't been feeling up to it," she murmured.
"In what way?"
Pomni blinked. "I-I don't know, Caine. I just haven't."
She still wasn't meeting his gaze, so he tilted his head so he was in her field of vision. She blushed and looked to the side, hoping he wouldn't move to her other side.
"Hm. Perhaps the others were right," Caine said thoughtfully, holding his cane in his hands.
Pomni internally panicked. Oh, God, they weren't telling him she had feelings for him, were they? "The others were right? How?" she asked, hoping her nerves weren't showing.
If Caine could blush, he surely would have by now. He lowered his gaze to the grass as the continued walking. "Oh...well...they've been saying that you're...avoiding me," he said sheepishly, before piping up, "I-I'm sure that they were jumping to conclusions but--"
Pomni squeezed her eyes shut. "It's fine, Caine."
Caine fidgeted with his cane again. "I have to admit, darling, I've missed our lessons."
Pomni smiled half-heartedly. Their 'lessons' as he called them, were simple conversations about the real world. To him, he considered them lessons on the human mind. But to her, it gave her someone to talk to. "I have, too," she admitted.
Caine didn't say anything for a moment, likely storing her saying she had missed him to his memory. "Then, dear, why haven't we seen much of each other?" He hesitated, then, "...have you been avoiding me?"
Pomni felt sick. She couldn't possibly lie to him in good conscience. "...yes."
Caine's colors seemed to lose their saturation, shoulders sinking at her confession. "I...I see," he mustered, voice laced with heartbreak.
Pomni turned to look at him for the first time today, her heart sinking at the sight of his shoulders slumped, eyes faced downwards. From his perspective, she had been avoiding him for no reason. His first real friend, leaving him behind. Guilt hit her like a truck. "Oh, Caine, no. No, I-it's not like that, really," she tripped over her words, trying to make him feel better because the sight of him sad was so damn depressing.
"I've...often been told I'm annoying the others. If that was the case here, I don't blame you for taking space," he replied quietly.
Pomni bit her lip. Looking to her side, she saw a red flower in the same shade of his suit. She picked it before stepping in front of him, leaning down into his field of vision the same way he had done for her. He stopped walking.
"Caine...I wasn't avoiding you because of you. You didn't do anything wrong, okay? I-It was all me," Pomni reassured.
Caine glanced up. "I...didn't do anything wrong?"
Pomni shook her head. "I promise."
Caine considered her words for a moment.
"I...I really, really like our time together, Caine. You don't bother me, I like when you're around. You're my...friend," Pomni added, smiling softly at him.
His eyes met hers for the first time today, sending butterflies fluttering in Pomni's stomach. "Really?"
Pomni held out the flower further. "Really. I mean it, Caine."
Color gradually returned to his form, a smile forming across his teeth. "Oh, dear..." he looked at the flower, clearly touched by the gift. He never received gifts from the others, so this...this was something special.
He met her eyes again and reached out for the flower, but decided to take it a step further. His hand slid around hers, cupping the hand that was holding the flower out to him. Pomni's breath hitched, her pupils dilating as he gazed into her eyes lovingly.
"My dear Pomni," was all he said, for he was too touched by her words to say anything else.
The butterflies fluttered in Pomni's stomach more than ever. She shivered slightly at the sound of his voice, so laced with emotion when he said her name, calling her his, looking at her so lovingly--
Caine snapped out of his daze at the sight of her shivering. He nearly snapped his fingers to help her feel warmer, but he suddenly recalled something she had told him one night. Wearing others clothes was a sign of intimacy, whatever that meant--all he knew is this felt pretty intimate. He shrugged off his coat and wrapped it around her instead. "I can't let you get any more sick, now can I?" he winked at her, referencing her poor excuse for her absence earlier.
Pomni blushed to the tips of her ears when he winked at her. They were in the middle of a sunlit path, gazing into each others' eyes, gifting each other flowers, and now she was wearing his coat--God, it was almost like he was trying to make her blush. She suddenly felt very hot, simultaneously wanting to take off his coat to cool down but, shamefully, also never wanting to take it off.
"Heh, yeah..." was all she could say, because if she said anything else she was sure he'd notice the tremble in her voice.
He smiled at her adorable reaction. "I must say, it suits you quite well, my dear. You could almost challenge my position as ringmaster!"
If she could blush anymore, she certainly did from his compliment. It almost made her laugh, how much he was making her feel tingly and fluttery without even trying. "Maybe I will," she teased.
Caine had to resist flying in the air from happiness. She was acting back to normal with him--albeit a bit shyer than usual, but no matter--and he loved it. "Ah ah ah, careful, dear. If you're coming for my job then I have to warn you, I was coded to be this charming."
Pomni giggled at his comment. "Really? You'd be surprised, I can put on quite the show."
"I won't believe it until I see it," Caine challenged.
"Hah, you will. And when you do, you'll have to wear this hat and I'll wear yours."
Caine looked at her in thought, smiling at the way she looked in his coat. "Really? Me in a jester hat? And you in mine? I'd like to see it," he said, but he wasn't sure If he was talking about the show anymore.
Pomni grinned at the idea, the image itself quite funny yet also endearing.
"Well, if that challenge is all settled, how about we finish our walk through the grounds?" Caine offered, gesturing to the path ahead.
Pomni allowed herself to touch the collar of the jacket, tightening it around herself. "Uh-huh," she said, her confidence gradually returning.
"Fantastic!" Caine's feet nearly floated above the ground from how thrilled he was that they were on good terms again. They continued their walk through the grounds, nearing the end of the digital forest and catching a glimpse of the nearby carnival.
They stopped at the edge of the lake where Pomni glanced subtly at her reflection. In the back of her mind, she knew she was doing it to make sure she didn’t look silly in front of Caine. She was well aware of his gaze now. It could burn a hole right through her.
The sight of her wearing Caine’s coat made her blush, somehow both embarrassed and pleased. On one hand, wearing his coat seemed like a big jump when she was still adjusting to her strong feelings. On the other hand…it felt nice to be wrapped in something of his. Her stomach fluttered again at the thought, emotions so strong she almost felt sick.
Caine carefully approached her. “If I may ask, darling,” he began, fiddling with his cane again behind his back, “if I didn’t do anything to scare you off, then why were you avoiding me?”
Pomni snapped out of her thoughts. “Oh, um…I don’t know…” she rushed to think of an explanation. A half-truth, maybe. Something that wasn’t a lie or a confession. She definitely wasn’t ready for that yet—she was barely able to accept she even had feelings to begin with.
Caine blinked curiously at her, awaiting her response. “You don’t know?”
Pomni’s heart thumped in her chest. “Oh, no—I mean well, I do know, i-it’s not that I don’t, but, it’s sort of hard to explain, you know? Personal stuff. Just been uh, busy in my thoughts, heh…” she sputtered out nonsense, shrinking in embarrassment at how visibly flustered she was becoming.
Caine tilted his head curiously. “My dear, are you feeling alright? You seem a bit out of sorts.”
Oh, God. He noticed. She knew she was hiding from him for a reason. “Huh? O-oh, that? It’s nothing, really Caine, I mean I feel okay. I feel fine. I had a reason for avoiding you, and it wasn’t because you did something wrong, but…”
She met his gaze as she trailed off, blushing at the sight of his curious eyes on her, waiting patiently for a response. Her breath caught in her throat. God, did she really like him that much? That all her thoughts just froze in time like that?
“Well, I…” she sighed, taking another deep breath before continuing, “I…have been thinking. About you. N-not in a weird way, just…contemplating things.”
“You’ve been thinking about me? Pomni, I was thinking about you! Isn’t that fantastic?” Caine piped up, floating a bit in the air as he spoke up.
“Huh? Oh, yeah. But I mean…not like that. I was just worried. About things being weird. Things changing,” Pomni admitted, feeling the heat return in her face as she confessed.
Caine grabbed Pomni’s hands lightly to comfort her. “How would things change?”
Her heart sped up at his touch. “I-I…I just know we’re getting closer. And sometimes, for humans, that can be scary,” Pomni tried to explain. Her heart was beating rapidly, butterflies still fluttering around in her stomach nervously. Admittedly, she was scared—her feelings were growing stronger now that she was spending time with him, not going away like she had hoped. She was terrified, even.
Caine pulled out a comically small notebook and large pencil, allegedly writing down what she said. “I see, I see. And humans feel fear when they form bonds with others because…?”
Pomni clutched her arm, looking down at the lake again in thought. She thought about the way he had wrapped the coat around her so gently, how it looked on her shoulders knowing it was normally around his, and she sighed feeling herself heart beating again. “Because it makes you vulnerable. To getting hurt. Losing someone, embarrassing yourself…you know…”
Caine nodded as he jotted down what she said before the notebook and pencil disappeared in a poof. “Is that what you’re afraid of, Pomni?” he asked gently.
Pomni’s eyes widened at the question. “Um, yeah…I think so.”
“So, you avoided me because we’ve become friends, and that scared you because it could lead to losing me or embarrassing yourself. Do I have that correct?”
Pomni hesitated. She couldn’t exactly say the truth. Well, what it really is is that I have suddenly developed strong romantic feelings for you and I didn’t want to admit it or let it grow but now I can’t deny it and am afraid of letting it show in front of you or the others and ultimately humiliating myself.
“Pomni…?”
“What? Oh, yes.” Pomni snapped out of her thoughts.
Caine’s hold on her hands grew slightly tighter. “Dear, I could never hate you. Or leave you. Or even make fun of you, for whatever reason that may be. Every moment I spend with you is another opportunity for me to become even more advanced, and to understand you better. How could I ever judge?”
Pomni laughed half-heartedly. “Yeah…I guess it sounds a bit of a stupid fear when you put it like that.”
“It’s not stupid. It makes sense. And, well…” he placed a finger on his chin in thought, “I think with what you’ve told me, I can guess I’m feeling the same way. In fact, I think that’s why I seemed so worried about having done something to scare you off. Does that sound right? Was I experiencing fear like you?”
Pomni bit her lip. He certainly wasn’t experiencing fear like her, assuming he didn’t suddenly develop a massive crush on her. “Yes,” she said in spite of it all, “that’s a very human thing to feel, Caine.”
Caine lifted off the ground at that, swirling in the air a bit in excitement. “At this rate, I’m becoming more human every day! And it’s all thanks to you, Pomni,” he flew down to her level, pulling the flower he had given her out of his coat pocket.
“That, you are. Heh. Thanks again, Caine,” she smiled, finding his excitement cute. “And um…I’m sorry. For avoiding you these past days? I owe you a lot for all the adventures I missed.”
“All in the past, my dear!” He put an arm around her and brought her close in excitement. “Now how about we enjoy some time at the digital carnival before the others get back! You can tell me allll about your favorite human traditions!”
Pomni giggled again, holding a hand up over her mouth. “Alright, alright. But you’ll have to win some of those games to get information out of me,” she smirked.
“Gasp! Are you suggesting some sort of friendly competition?” Caine placed his hands on his chin in cartoonish shock.
Pomni crossed her arms. “Something like that. Let’s see how much you can get out of me before the others come back.”
Caine laughed. “Oh, dear, you never fail to impress me. Show me what you’ve got, because I must warn you—I am exceptionally talented at carnival games,” he said proudly.
“I’ll believe it when I see it,” Pomni repeated his words from earlier.
Caine spun through the air before grabbing for her hand. “Then let’s not waste any time, dear!”
Pomni returned his grip on her hand, not quite as afraid of the butterflies anymore. “Show me what you’ve got, ringmaster.”
A/N: I wrote like half of this at the same time as taking a test, I kept switching tabs and going between showtime and sociology. the showtime grind is real

Are we soulmates?
Pairing: Larissa Weems x Reader
Warnings: angst, toxic!Larissa, pregnancy
Pt2
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
“Do you think we’re soulmates in every universe?” You asked Larissa as she sat in your living room “are we even soulmates in this one?” She responded with your daughter on her lap.
It crushed you
You had given everything up for the woman across from you, your daughter had been born during your time at Nevermore. Larissa said shifting was safe and didn’t require protection who knew the teachers pet could be such a liar.
So you dropped out letting Larissa live her life while you raised her baby, taking up a second job so she could continue her studies. Larissa had big dreams to become the principal of Nevermore and you lost the motivation to have any.
You had been dating the blonde since your first year of Nevermore, things had been perfect until that stupid girl came- no it wasn’t her fault.
Morticia had become of the object of Larissa’s desires causing visits to become scarce, you knew she wasn’t attracted to you anymore. Not since you had given birth to Delilah, your body had changed it was only natural it would’ve.
Your little Delilah Brienne Weems meant the world to you
“I love you” she smiled but didn’t take her eyes off the girl playing with her rings, you nodded of course she said that. You wanted a family it didn’t need the white picket fence as long as you had Larissa and your daughter. Unfortunately Larissa didn’t want that just yet.
It wasn’t until Delilah turned three, you sat at the dinner table in the middle of the night Larissa still hadn’t returned. Your head in your hands as you sobbed, who had you become? A shell of a woman begging to be loved.
Larissa had woken you up when she finally got home, liquor on her breath and lipstick smudged she looked cocky. You were tired not sure if it was only physically anymore as you followed her up the stairs watching her get ready for bed.
You laid down facing away from her as she slipped in next to you “I don’t love you anymore” she whispered as she wrapped her arms around your waist. She was only drunk you told yourself as you fell asleep, when you got woken up the next morning Larissa was gone Delilah now on her side of the bed.
She was too young to understand where her mama had gone too little to just see mommy everywhere but you hoped it didn’t last. That Larissa would change her mind but she didn’t and things flushed themselves down the drain.
You loved Larissa violently
Losing yourself
Larissa had gotten her way, she had broken you
It had been thirteen years since Larissa had left never looking back she often wondered how you had been, how Delilah was. But now as she waits for her next interview she knows she no longer needs to wonder about her family the one she left behind.
You walked in behind two children a hand on each of their shoulders, your eyes blank as you stared at her she now wondered had you been married. “M-mom?” Delilah whispered her voice cracking as tears welled in her blue eyes it broke Larissa’s heart she had caused that.
The boy only looked confused as he watched his older sister “my little flower” Larissa smiled sadly “Don’t” Delilah stunned the older woman. “You don’t get to call me that” she sneered as she turned to hid in your side “who’s this?” Larissa asked “Theo” he whispered.
She looked up at you with a silent question but you shook your head no as you took a seat in-front of her desk. “You know Delilah, your mama and I used to attend this school” Larissa spoke gently only to receive a lashing from her daughter.
“I apologise Delilah for leaving” she sighed making matters worse as the girl got up quickly leaving, Theo chasing after her.
You sighed sadly “I do apologise for leaving I wasn’t in the right headspace Y/n” she pleaded almost, you looked away not wanting to give her a reaction. “I found I regretted it, I got the job but nobody to go home to, nobody to hold, I have everything but at what cost?”.
“Well who’s fault is that Larissa?” I asked sitting up straighter in my seat “mine” she whispered staring at her hands. “I was pregnant and I planned to tell you but you left… you just left” you shrugged biting your lip still not facing her.
“I’m sorry”
“Sometimes sorry isn’t enough”
“I know”
“You know?”
Finally your eyes met now staring into the eyes your children shared “I loved you Larissa” you laughed “I love you in every universe” she whispered. “Do you take it back in every universe?” You scoffed shaking your head “we’re here for our daughter’s enrolment”.
You might be single but you had moved on no longer begging to be loved by someone who’s love had terms and conditions.

This is so exciting!!! I’m getting flashbacks to Precious and Fragile Things and Bucks Coma-Verse of Madness. It’s like the perfect combination 💖
ahhh yay thank you so much!!! There'll definitely be aspects from both (wink wink) in the story!
1k for angel!Buck:
---
“So, uh…” Buck continues forward. “Have you ever been attracted to a man before?”
And as much as Eddie’s mouth moves to form a denial, a thought pops into his head. A traitorous little memory.
Buck.
In the limited months that Eddie knew him, he had experienced a strange, fleeting desire around Buck. He hadn’t known how to handle it, at the time. Hadn’t known what to label it. He’d just tried to ignore it. Buck, riled up and hot headed those first two shifts. Buck, grinning after Eddie complimented him. Buck, helpful and reassuring when Eddie was struggling to figure out his childcare situation. He’d wanted something then. He’d felt drawn to him. He just hadn’t understood…
Oh shit.
“I don’t know,” Eddie lies.
“Huh,” Buck says. “That’s not a no, though.”
“No,” Eddie agrees.
“Well, then we’ve got to find out,” Buck says. “Go watch porn or something.”
Eddie wrinkles his nose. “Absolutely not.”
“You gotta do something to test it out,” Buck says.
Yeah, no. Eddie actually thinks he knows the answer. There’s just… Well, there’s no point dwelling on that.
“Sure,” Eddie nods. “Maybe. Men. I’ll look into it. Uh… I should go to bed now, I think.”
“Right,” Buck agrees. “Sleep is good. Uh, feel any better?”
“Yeah,” Eddie nods. “Yeah, uh… Progress has been made, maybe?”
“Good,” Buck nods. “Then, uh… In case I…”
Eddie blinks. “Right. Wow. Yeah. See you… Either tomorrow or…”
“Eventually?” Buck shrugs.
“Eventually,” Eddie nods.
And he feels sort of sad about it. He’d been getting used to having him around.
vi.
Buck isn’t gone the next morning.
On the one hand, Eddie finds himself relieved. On the other, it does mean something is still wrong with him. So that’s not great. But on the whole, at least he’s still got the one person around who he can talk to about what’s going on with him. The one person, he finds, that he wants to talk to.
It’s not long before they figure out why. Maybe this was never about Eddie at all, but rather, about a distressing event Eddie was about to face.
He gets the call that Bobby is in the hospital, in critical condition. His house burnt down the night before. He managed to save Athena, but smoke inhalation led to a heart attack.  They don’t know if he’s going to make it.
Eddie rushes to the hospital, distressed. He finds Hen, Chim, and Ravi already there, but Athena is nowhere to be seen. Eddie doesn’t know what’s going on. He’s just scared for Bobby.
“Is he going to wake up?” He asks Hen seriously, after an hour or so of sitting with Bobby. The doctors and nurses won’t give them answers either way. They just keep saying they’re hoping for the best. Well, Eddie’s heard that before and he knows how it goes.
“I don’t know,” Hen admits. “His heart stopped for a very long time. We’re not sure what condition he’ll be in if he does wake up.”
Off to the side, observing as always, Buck looks crestfallen.
“Not Bobby,” he murmurs. “Please not Bobby.”
And it makes Eddie’s chest ache. Because Bobby had been the same way, when it was Buck.
“So,” Eddie frowns, eyes stinging. “He might just…”
“Yeah,” Hen says sadly.
Chim squeezes Eddie’s shoulder. “At least we know without a doubt what he’d want, this time.”
Eddie risks a glance in Buck’s direction. Buck doesn’t seem to have caught the comment. He’s far too focused on Bobby.
“Yeah,” Eddie whispers. “At least there’s that.”
🪽
Chris spends the night at a friend’s. It’s one of his closest friends, and Eddie has had the kid over plenty of nights before. He feels comfortable enough to reach out to his mom and explain that there’s an emergency with his captain, and he may need to leave the house in the middle of the night. This is only half the truth. The other half is that he’s got an inconsolable angel, crying in his living room.
Buck really does seem wrecked by Bobby’s situation. And it’s not like Eddie isn’t. Hell, he loves Bobby probably more than his own parents, if he’s being sinfully honest. Bobby is the support he’s always wanted. The true guidance that has helped him more times than he can count. Bobby is one of those rare truly good people. If Bobby dies, Eddie will be devastated. He doesn’t know what he will do. So it’s not like Eddie doesn’t understand. He’s just surprised an angel has so little resilience to the idea of death.
Eddie had sort of expected some sage wisdom. Something about heaven and the afterlife and being in a better place. Like a card you’d find at Walmart. Instead, Buck is despondent.
“He can’t die,” Buck blubbers. “After everything he’s been through? He worked so hard to be the man he is today. He can’t die, Eddie!”
“I know,” Eddie says.
He sits on the far end of the couch. There’s room for a whole person between them. Not that Buck is actually tangibly there. He only appears there.
“And, you know, why survive the cruise ship?” Buck asks. “Why survive that whole ordeal, only to die like this?”
“I mean, extra time?” Eddie suggests. “I think Bobby would want as much time with Athena as he could get, right?”
“No,” Buck cries. “You didn’t… You didn’t know him when… It was bad, Eddie. What that fire did to him, then to die like this.”
“He’s not dead yet,” Eddie reminds him.

The Original Version of Us [P.G6]
[Childhood best friends to lovers trope]
Warnings: light swearing methinks, slight sexual content
Word Count: 2.1k
A/N: I got this idea after watching a TikTok slideshow about Barça boys’ romance book tropes. So I had the idea to turn them into prompts. Hope it lives up to y’all’s expectations lol.
—————————————————————————————
It all started at the age of 5. Your mom had taken you to the playground of your hometown. You hadn’t been there for long, your family having moved a year prior. You were a shy child, often found hiding behind your mom’s back. You remember it as if it was yesterday. The blistering Spanish heat, the suffocating air, yet, you felt at ease. Your mom sat on the bench as you ventured deeper into the playground. It wasn’t uncommon for the children of the neighborhood to spend their entire days there. As you walked into the sea of children, you lost sight of of your mom. Confused by the swarm of people, you started panicking. On the other side of the swings, a young Pablo Páez Gavira was staring down at you. He had never seen you there, nor had he seen your face in the neighborhood.
“Are you lost?” He asked you, his voice trembling from shyness. He was dressed up in a football jersey, his hair ruffled up from the sweat on his forehead.
“Yeah. I can’t find my mom.” Gavi took your hand.
“I’ll help you look. C’mon. My name is Pablo by the way. What’s yours?”
Together you walked the lengths of the playground, ultimately passing by the bench where you had last seen your mom. Unbeknownst to you, your mom was engaged in a deep conversation with Gavi’s mom, panic spread on her face. When her eyes caught the sight of you and Gavi, her eyes lit up with a mixture of relief and joy. She ran to you, dropping to her knees as she engulfed you in a sudden hug. You remember her quiet sobs as she looked up to the sky, thanking the universe you were unharmed.
“Pablo, where have you been?”
“Perdón mamá, but Y/N couldn’t find her mom, so I stayed with her. She’s very nice. Can we invite her to play?”
“Um, Gavi that’s very nice of you, but it’s ultimately up to Y/N’s mom.” His mom calmly explained, looking back at yours.
“I’m sure we can arrange something.” Your mom said cheekily. While the adults exchange their phone numbers, you and Gavi sat down on the bench, feet hanging in the air.
“Are you new here?” Gavi broke the silence.
“Yeah, we moved here last year. You?” You pushed a strand of hair out of your face.
“Born here. Do you like football?” You saw him shift in his seat.
Before you could answer, you had to say your goodbyes, sadly waiving to your newly made friend.
“I’ll see you again, right?” You yelled from the car, window down.
“Yeah!” Gavi answered back.
A few days had passed, your encounter with Gavi still etched in your mind. For some reason, you refused to let the memory of him go, clinging onto the hope of seeing him again. It was a Saturday morning, you were barely awake when the doorbell rang. You heard your mom rush to the door, before greeting whoever was at the front door. A woman’s voice and a boy’s voice could be heard… as well as a girl’s voice. Curious, you peaked your head towards the front door, catching sight of a small brunette head. Looking up, you recognized Gavi’s mom. Before your mom could call you, you emerged from your hiding spot.
“Pablo! You’re here!” You embraced your newly made friend.
“Yeah! Your mom invited us for breakfast. Oh, and that’s my sister, Aurora.” He pointed at the girl hidden behind his mom.
“Hi! Do you like dolls?” Aurora nodded before you grabbed her by the hand and led her to the living room where your toys were sprawled out.
After that day, the three of you became inseparable. Every weekend, you spent it at each others’ house. You had grown to be used to Pablo and Aurora’s presence. With the passing years, your personal schedules grew to become more and more busy, but you always made the efforts to see each other. Until Pablo left for Barcelona, and soon, the weekly visits stopped. You stayed in touch through your parents, or Aurora’s daily updates, but even those became less frequent. For a few years, you would only catch up with the Páez Gavira’s at Christmas and Easter time. That was, until you each fell into the rabbit hole that was technology and social media. You and Aurora’s bond strengthened. When came the time to go to university, you decided to move to Barcelona, with the plan to bunk with Aurora until you find your own space.
TODAY:
“That was the last box.” You huffed, sitting down on your newly built couch.
“I can’t believe we pulled it off. 14 years of friendship later, and we’ve moved into an apartment together.” Aurora handed you a glass of sparkling water. You thanked her, leaning back into the couch.
“You sure you don’t mind me drilling a few holes into the wall for the picture frames?” You asked her.
“Yeah, it’s entirely fine. By the way, Pablo is staying the night. His neighbours have apparently turned into sex beasts and he doesn’t want to stay at Pedri’s because his family is visiting.”
“Pablo… Pablo’s visiting?” You shot straight up, gently choking on your drink. “Um, when, I mean, what time? I look horrendous, my lord.” You hand brushed through your hair.
“Yeah, why do you look like you just saw a ghost-” You ran to your bathroom. Locking the door behind you, you took a quick glance at your reflection. Your cheeks were flushed at the mention of Pablo. Aurora’s knocks on the door brought you back to reality.
“Y/N! Why did your cheeks turn red when I mentioned-” Aurora’s voice fell silent on the other side of the door. “Omg… You have a crush on Pablo. I knew it! I knew it!” She cheered on the other side of the door.
Aurora left you to collect your thoughts. Giggling to yourself, you took care of yourself, wiping away any sign of stress and sweat from loading boxes on and off the truck all day long. You were finally done when the doorbell rang, Aurora having left the premises long ago. You smoothed down your sweater and glanced in the mirror one last time before opening the door. Gavi was dressed in a simple white t-shirt, some light wash baggy jeans and a pair of Air Forces, his bag slung over his shoulder.
“Hey.” You softly greeted him. Gavi looked you up and down before going in for a hug. Surprised, you almost pulled back, but melted right into his embrace. It had been some time since you last saw each other face to face, yet he looked as good as ever.
“Hey. Congratulations on the move.” He said, taking off his shoes and putting them on the shoe rack.
“Thank you!” You chuckled. “I finally got the last box delivered today. Bunch of picture frames and shelf decor.” You pointed to the box. The air was heavy, almost too thick to breathe.
“Do you need help with the picture frames?”
“Um… Yeah, why not. Let’s get it over with,” You bent down to open the box, feeling Gavi’s eyes trail from your back to your ass. “Um… Do you know your way around a drill? Or at least a hammer?”
Gavi’s eyes diverted from your ass back to your face. You could swear something had changed in the way he looked at you. It was softer, kinder, more sincere.
“You know what, um, I will go grab the drill, you just take the pictures out of the bubble wrap.” You blurted out, running to the utility closet you and Aurora kept. Closing the door behind you, your let out a sigh of excitement…giggling like a schoolgirl. Allowing yourself to let these emotions out, you swiftly grabbed the drill before joining Gavi back in the living room. Sitting on the couch, he was admiring the pictures displayed in front of him.
“I didn’t know you kept that one.” He said, a picture of his 13th birthday in his hand. You were both asleep on their old couch, your head slumped on his shoulder as he embraced you. You sat down next to him, reaching out for another picture.
“There’s also that one.” You handed him the picture your mom took on Christmas Eve, 4 years prior. It was a group picture, but Gavi had his hand on your waist while your hand was around his shoulders. Everyone was looking at the camera, except you two, too busy looking at each other. Soon enough, you abandoned the idea of hanging the pictures, prioritizing a trip down memory lane instead.
“I remember last year’s annual summer cookout. Your mom accidentally switched out the smoked paprika for cayenne pepper. Safe to say the meat was…” you laughed uncontrollably. Gavi stifled a yawn, his eyes drawing tears. “Oh gosh, it’s getting late.” You said, looking at your phone.
“I think Aurora told you I’d be spending the night.” Gavi yawned once again, this time dragging you into a yawning contest. You saw a glimmer of malice shine in his eyes. “I have an idea. The next person to yawn, has to tell a secret to the other person.”
“Deal.” You stifled a yawn. “Starting now. Let me show you the guest bedroom.” You got up, leading Gavi to the guest bedroom Aurora had previously set up. “I’m gonna go wash my face and brush my teeth, let me know if you need anything.” You told him. After you finished your routine, you went back to the living room only to be surprised to find Gavi laying down on the couch.
“Pablito, everything okay?” He perked up at the childhood nickname. He had changed into a sweater and some grey sweatpants. He sat back up, patting down the spot next to him. You sat down, allowing your body to be swallowed by the couch.
“Do you wonder what our friendship would look like now had I not moved to Barcelona?” He blurted out. You were taken by surprise. The two of you had a handful of deep conversations, all of which happened before the age of 15.
“Of course I do. I mean, I used to. Why do you ask?”
“Something about seeing our old pictures. It got me wondering what our friendship would have looked like had we stayed close-” He interrupted himself with a yawn. “Shit. I lost our deal.”
You chuckled at his reaction. Leaning further into the couch, your eyes glazed over the details of his face. The light stubble; his plush, pink lips; his furrowed eyebrows… His face hadn’t changed much, you could always recognize the little kid you had befriend all these years ago.
“You have to spill one secret, Pablitooo.” You teased him.
Gavi hid his face in shame into the throw pillow. You could make up a slight shade of pink tinting his cheeks.
“Fine, fine. Come closer,” You scooched closer. “A bit more.” He guided you by the shoulder. You were so close that you could feel his breath on your face. Your eyes subtly shifted to his lips before establishing eye contact again.
“Um.. Okay. I hope I don’t fuck things up.” The familiar pink tint spreading again on his cheeks. “Close your eyes.”
You closed your eyes, and it was a second later that Gavi shyly placed a kiss to your lips. You leaned in, your hand finding a way to his neck, bringing him closer. Gavi let out a breathless moan as his hands pulled you onto his lap, his hands now resting on your waist. Gavi broke the kiss, his lips moving to your neck, leaving a trail of kisses, eliciting a string of broken moans from you. Your hands found the nape of his hair, slightly tugging, pleasure taking over. Had you known that moving into Aurora’s apartment would have you making out with your best friend, you would have done it sooner. Pablo pulled away, his eyes blown with lust, his lips glossy from your heated make out session.
“I… I really like you. I wanted to tell you sooner, I don’t know why I didn’t.” He confessed to you.
“I really like you as well. Have so since we fell asleep on your couch on your 13th birthday.” You leaned back to steal a kiss. His hand rested on your lower back as you worked on leaving a few love bites on his neck.
“Be my girlfriend. Let me shower you with the love you deserve. Let’s give ourselves a chance.” Gavi begged you.
“I wouldn’t want it any other way.” You leaned back in for a kiss, Gavi’s arms carrying you to your bedroom as you shed your clothes.
The next morning, Aurora woke up to find the guest room empty. Gavi’s things were still in the apartment but he was nowhere to be found. That was until she followed the trail of clothes and opened the door to your bedroom, only to find you guys entangled and naked from last night’s activities. Letting out a shriek, Aurora woke you up. Panicked, you covered yourselves in a hurry, dressing up before apologizing to Aurora for walking in on this sight. Glancing at one another, you knew you’d do it again if it meant being pinned under Gavi while he made you scream his name.
