This evidence has always been one of my favourites.

"You never say it." "I say it." vs. "I didn't say it." "You didn't have to."

When I first saw these two clips back to back, when I was a little byler in the big city of youtube analysis videos, I think I lost my mind. Having these two lines of dialogue being so perfectly contrasting proves that Milkvan simply can't be endgame to me, especially when Stranger Things' couples usually never say I love you to each other.

I feel like a lot of the canon couples in ST all have one thing in common: they've all never really said I love you to each other??? Plus, they've never actually used saying those words as a big conflict storyline before. Having this storyline in a sitcom or something where this couple ends up being endgame anyway makes sense, but in this setting where everything is so thought out, it makes no sense for this parallel to be made and have Milkvan be endgame guys.

This conflict between Mike and El wasn't just something for the two of them to do (or rather, Mike) in S4. This was to make them, in the audience's minds, a couple not worth rooting for anymore. Especially when there's a better, second option.

IS BASICALLY:

"I need you to tell me you love me because I can't tell whether or not you love me." vs. "I don't need you to tell me you love me because I know you do in the way you treat me."

The second one is true for most of the couples on Stranger Things. You don't need Lumax to say it, let alone even kiss, to know that they have a deep love for each other in S4. You don't need Jancy to have this big dramatic I love you moment, you don't need Jopper to either. But you know who did have the same storyline as Mike and El? Stancy. And because it was a smaller sub-plot, it was wrapped up quickly in one season where it was established that Nancy did not love Steve because she never showed it, EVEN THOUGH SHE DID SAY IT.

TLDR; Actions say much more than words, and if you really think about it, Mike and El in S4 did not show their love for each other rather than Mike talking about it all the time.

Their love is also paralleled (or perpendiculared tbh) with the Jancy scene in S4 where they both describe the things they love about the other ^^^, talking about genuine characteristics. Mike's reasoning for 'loving' El is that she is.......... a superhero and incredible and can 'move mountains' (even though she can't). One of the reasons for El not thinking Mike loves her is literally the fact that he always calls her a 'superhero' so that when she has no powers, she feels like he can't love her. And I can't blame her tbh 😭

Also this basically foreshadows the fact that Will confesses his love to Mike through El, and in doing so, expresses his love for him without having to say the actual words. Mike knew that those words meant an I love you because he literally used them in his monologue.

sometimes i am caught between feeling so bad for splinter and kind of hoping he internalizes the way he brushed him off for of the rest of his life. there's a good chance he will think of that conversation EVERY time donnie reaches out to him looking for a savior or protector, especially after april leaves and he's the only "safe person" in the house when donnie cant think straight.

in an attempt to be unlike of HIS oppressive family he went the opposite way and went for a more relaxed style of parenting, and he veered too hard in that direction and COMPLETELY turned a blind eye to such horrifying abuse happening. it kind of reminds me of like turtle dega nights where he's so shocked to realize the shit they just get up to. for like. fun. he's NOT in a position to shelter them without pushback and he understands that now, which is a big reason he leaves them to make their own decisions when it comes to kitsune.

its hard to find a line between acknowledging theyre independent in a way he cant really stop and need to be treated with that respect and acknowledging theyre children! just kids! his baby boys!!! he's so used to seeing them silly and unserious around him that he hasn't properly processed the weight of his passive neglect until all of THIS blew up in his face. and i think that's best shown through him dismissing donnie. they mostly fell out of conversation after that point, but im sure they exchanged a few words sometime in between (for the sake of realism, its something to acknowledge) and i think splinter would think of that a lot too. why didn't he notice donnie was starting to look up so beat up? getting thinner and thinner? just disappearing during leo's birthday?? staring through him whenever splinter shot im a quick hello on the way to the kitchen??? originally that conversation weighed on the back of his mind already (because i dont think donnie comes to him for comfort like THAT much, technically i think in cc that was usually leo's job. rooftop conversations and all that), but obviously he wouldnt correlate it with any red flags now. just like how april didnt WANT to assume they were doing anything wrong because the four of them were so close, malice just didnt feel like a REALISTIC thing to expect from them and they were acting normal to her!!

cannot even begin to imagine how he was feeling in cw ch1. hearing about most of what they did and seeing how tiny and roughed up donnie was is one thing, and seeing him cling to his robe and inconsolably sob and scream for his daddy is another. splinter probably cant help but wonder if this is what donnie had wanted the whole time. cant help but wonder if he would have reacted like this at ANY point before it all got this far. all he had to do is reach out, for once. to ask HIM if he's okay, for once.

I am a big fan of your au and the lore you have built around it, especially with the Decepticons, but as someone who loves G1, MTMTE, and the Lost Light Comics, I'm wondering why you chose to make Magnus' and Hot Rod's bond paternal? I feel like the parentification of Magnus diminishes his character to just that and Kup, or even Optimus, fill that role better. I apologize if this seems like a mean-spirited or unnecessary criticism, but I am just a Ultra Magnus enjoyer and want to know more about your thought process behind their portrayal.

hi! the simple answer is -i dont like ultra magnus

i'm kidding, but i'm not entirely sure how to answer this question--ultra magnus is a character with a few disparate appearances and very different personalities dependent on the role. most of you have probably noticed that most of my interpretations of characters have very different "root personalities" or iterations that serve as the primary inspiration, and that's because the characters i use are picked for narrative convenience--I have a wider story I'm interested in and while I'm aiming to portray characters with their "core truth," i'm also (I hope) very transparent about how my interpretations are specific and personal.

I've mentioned how the way I portray the characters does not usually line up with the IDW comics, and that's because a lot of those portrayals just don't interest me--while I don't mind people looking at my stuff and thinking my portrayal of a character is flanderized (there are so many transformers and it is impossible to be interested in all of them lol, some of them inevitably are), I also don't want people thinking or expecting that these versions of the characters are going to line up exactly with what you might expect from your own favorite iteration.

I don't think Ultra Magnus as a character is diminished by being parentified because I'm working from a different idea of ultra magnus--specifically, I'm interested in his earliest portrayal and the kind of odd niche he plays in TF history. He's a bit of an unfortunate character, and just like how a lot of people didn't like Hot Rod, a lot of people didn't like Magnus, or at least thought he was a bit disappointing or pathetic. I decided to have him and Hot Rod share that kind of awkward, mismatched paternal relationship because I think it brings out alot of their quirks. I like them because they're these misfit, oddball characters with a lot of similarities, but also a lot of points of friction, and neither is wholly or even partially excluded to their relationship with the other. Both of them have big roles they don't quite meet and both of them get overshadowed because a lot of people feel like they don't have much to offer. That's the main reason a lot of the Autobots you'll see me present are usually B- or C-listers--I'm interested in characters like this and I want to show some love to some of the neglected or misunderstood parts of the extended TF universe. Maybe it's contrarian, but above all I'm interested in presenting a version of the characters that, while not always completely individual or totally unique, serves the broader narrative and accurately portrays what I find interesting about that character.

I hope this answered your question--apologies if it was a little hard to follow, I'm a little stoned rn and while my gears are turning, I can't guarantee I'm super coherent lol. Interesting stuff to talk about!

Okaayyy my fic idea. Its possibly going to be a dystopien omegaverse fic, reader is a omega, Price and Ghost are alpha's and Soap and Gaz betas (I've always imagined them like that since reading ur fic, but i make them other things depending on the ship. and what the story is like. like nikprice, i oftern think of alpha x alpha or make John a omega heh)

So outline part 1 is, the worlds population has been greatly plumeting, since the old goverment wasnt strict as the new one. The new goverment takes over, and builds a intitute that forces omegas into it as soon as they present to teach them to be the 'perfect omega'. its one of those VERY messed up places, like the guards or workers dont give a damn, they get no help and are brainwashed to not tell anyone abt how it works. (This was one of the parts where i was scared it was close to urs, thats why im yapping now so if u think its too close u can scold me and tell me to think of smt else LOL)

As soon as omega's hit 18, they are sent out into a pack or with an alpha. betas can join a waiting list, but alphas get priority. Now, when the rest of the task force was offered, they declined. But poor Johnny just wanted his own lass, he didn't think it'd be bad. so he joins the waiting list, and ends up getting reader. And well the rest arent happy cause now they gotta help look after this traumatised lil thing.

What i was thinking, Johnny has never had a omega, because of the intitute and goverment. So he has no proper idea on how to care for an omegas needs, like heats and everything. so he ends up getting the rest of the team to slowly help (it overtime becomes a poly relationship) but as reader feels safer, she ends up feeling safe enough to talk about what happened in the institute (cause whos gonna come after a military pack, they're protecting her?!)

but ofc, the goverment finds out and like nup they aint having that, and they take her back. (this is sometime idk when) but they all end up turning against the whole goverment and yada yada. Theres prob A LOT i would change so far and add, but I havent gotten that in depth yet.

i typed that answer up on my phone at like 2 in the morning, im rereading over it now and its still missing things. as of right now, its 7 in the morning and im still in the same position i was when i typed that answer

main thing i want to highlight about them is just that hank is incredibly direct and sheriff is very dodgy but only and SPECIFICALLY about hank. if sheriff were to have loved someone else his behavior would be almost completely different but because its hank he acts differently.

sheriff will always dance around ‘wanting’ hank and ever vocalizing his own affection for them, because uttering something blatantly romantic is a confession of sin. in his mind, its ringing “yes i love hank j wimbleton, the guy who has killed hundreds of people and even killed me and who would do it again cant you see how stupid i am”

it sounds embarrassing, shameful, executable to him.

his self image is really important to him, even if its in acts that only he and hank would know about. even murmuring about he doesnt want hank to get up and leave him because he’d still like to cuddle.

doesnt that just sound sugary sweet? he cant bear to hear himself say it.

hank is however completely unashamed about anything because it has no reason to be embarrassed. what reason does it need to care about the little things like a social reputation. if youre that much of an inconvenience ill just kill you. it lives for whatever reason, its not dependent on the eyes of others.

it will just bluntly ask sheriff things if it looks like he wants something, or if hank wants to try something or if it just outright wants to do something.

they COULD say things like ‘i love you’ but it finds actions and motions to be more satisfying than words. and on top of that, it observes sheriff to react strongly in such a mixed way to words like that so it chooses to neglect saying them. hank doesnt fully grasps what weight those words have, but sheriff does. to hank, ‘i love you’ is another way of expressing affection and it doesnt prefer it.

hank doesnt like to beat around the bush about things, dont get dodgy because this just makes the issue linger. so talk to me. what is it. dont be vague because i want to resolve it and get it done. theyre very direct and firm, it cuts at the foggy vagueness sheriff puts up as a mental safety net.

thats a fault in their situationship : communication.

sheriff doesnt like to ‘leave evidence’ of his attachment, and because of it wont talk properly about what he wants ; it leaves hank to hunt him down for it. his dodginess is something hank has foot in the door’d sheriff about, bluntly asking if he could knock that off in the most neutral way possible.

hey, did i mention that a huge appeal about them is ‘opposites attract.’

when they embrace, when they hug, to sheriff the cold clamminess of hank’s skin and body is so weirdly comforting, but to vocalize that is a confession. a shameful one, and he cant.

to hank, sheriff’s body is warm. firm, callous but lively. it doesnt say a lot about it, no flowery language but the expressed affection makes the body warmer.

uh yes this was my old tgs headcanon world if you recognise these from that hi. but i kind of got out of tgs a bit due to personal reasons so i grabbed the previous headcanonned characters and flipped them upside down and made them into their own thing outside of tgs. i think i did a good job? i didnt really want to associate them with tgs anymore so i just took every creative turn that squirmed itself into my head. and it helped that my previous tgs headcanon world strayed really far from the og in the first place and was kind of already its own thing. so yeah i kind of like what i have so far im pretty happy with it . i really like uttersons character so far and im excited to start on emma and lucy [my hatred for the j&h musical has fuelled me to make my own version of them] im especially excited for emma i have so many ideas for her character and just. ideas to actually make her even a character and not just a plot role for jekyll. i love you emma you deserved so much better ill give you a gun and make you a werewolf and everything you deserve everything cool and awesome babygirl !!!! ill even give you a cool spiked jacket that your girlfriend gave you!!!! everything for you !!!!

basic story plot for this side of the story [since the story is split across multiple perspectives and these are just some of the many] uhhh jekyll goes crazy and fully stays transformed as hyde and falls into really bad habits and addiction as hyde . it starts small at first but when lanyon dies it hits the tipping point and they fully give up on trying. jekyll is considered dead due to being missing for a good chunk of months and hyde inherits the stuff from the will and takes over the life their previous persona had [very messily though since hyde is a complete wreck right now]

meanwhile utterson in the background is fully loosing her mind in depression [thinks he lost her two only friends. fair enough] but one day sees jekyll in the street running even though jekyll has been considered dead for like months by then. utterson then gets real bad tunnel vision on finding jekyll and dedicates everything to finding jekyll. spends all her time locked in her room just looking for leads. drops her job and everything to dedicate herself to this. his main lead and who he has to team up with to find jekyll?: hyde [said person very much so not wanting to team up with utterson due to who theyre hunting but only does it because theyre still clinging to and missing some of the old parts of their previous identity as jekyll with one of those parts being their old friendship with utterson] anyways they basically go on a big little detective goose chase until utterson gets pissed at hyde after figuring out some stuff and they fight and split off from eachother and hyde like gets kidnapped immediately after that because lets be real nobody really likes that guy they have so many enemys. what a loser

oh and yeah uh lanyon gets brought back to life frankie style and just becomes a minion for this guy kind of. im still developing them. basically theyre hunting hyde though because same as everybody they think hyde killed jekyll . and lanyon kind of lost their marbles from the whole getting brought back process and lost a lot of their memorys. ok guys cmon literally all my lanyons are sweethearts who just so happen to be friends with insane people [utterson and hyde] i deserve to make a adaptation where all 3 of them are equally insane. ok. i deserve it for all the normal lanyons ive made.

i wanted to make jekyll really creepy and also affected by the soul split thing and not just hyde so jekyll is kinda weird in this one. he looks younger in some images and thats done on purpose . when hes being creepy he looks younger. uh i have a doodle of what he looks like when hes getting 𝓯𝓻𝓮𝓪𝓴𝔂 and being very not normal . im not adding it. to the main post because i dont like the art it looks STINKY !!!

Anyways, I hope you guys don't mind me taking a few pages out of your books about The Drain being some sort of cold industrial-like place. The Drain is essentially where "waste" goes but the folks down there don't consider it trash. In fact they build their lives, homes, from it. There might be designated places where things are dumped down into The Drain. residents are free to scavenge/rummage through it. But one should be careful in case more falls in. Don't want to be crushed or killed. I'd like to think that's why Gr puts a cone on his head or why P puts a bucket over his head too and refers to it as "armor" its not trash to them. It might have even helped with the on pour of rain down in The Drain too.

It's a negative connotation for the bizzyboys because to them, The Drain is where things might go to rot, or maybe they are living in someone else's shadow of life. They lack a purpose aside from being bottom feeders. Perhaps that's why Alex isn't so afraid of shoving crap in his mouth that isn't edible. He's used to it. Used to the trial and error of gambling. They almost live like sewer rats (I'd like to think anyone calling them rats is very offensive. So don't do that!!).

I think that's why joining the bizzyboys is a BIG deal to those who reside in The Drain. Inspekta gives them a purpose, a reason to find one self in the world. Along with revoking self identity with giving up your name and earning it back but shhh. Also a way to leave The Drain, build a reputation for their kind and see the world the way the ones in the Grove/Earth do.

Fun little tidbits; I imagined Banana, down in the drain found an old, broken TV. He fixed it up the best he could, perhaps making his own makeshift "man cave" to use it. A little canopy to protect it from the rain. It crackles and buzzes a lot but with the added find of VHS tapes, it sparked his love for cinema. Even if audio isn't always present.

Vibi perhaps got into fashion by leafing through fashion magazines that were discarded. Finding fabrics and practicing his craft of being a designer. Even enjoys watching movie or shows with Ban to get more ideas for outfits.

Some other thing, I think every so often, Inspekta and/or Capochin go back to the drain to hire more future bizzyboys. Since there's way more of them other than the main gang you interact with. More recruits means a bigger voice. A bigger voice means Inspekta's propaganda influence will spread.

FOR SURE !! Here's what the original doodles for their designs look like, first off, (I know you didn't ask for Virgil but I did these three at the same time)

When I drew this I had just finished an exam and had to wait another hour until I could leave the classroom, so I wrote down enough notes that I had to flip the page instead:

Virgil:

- Virgil has light brown hair that he dyes black (badly). It is essential that the dye job look like shit. It looks artificial, his roots are showing, there's patches where the color didn't take, etc etc.

- He also has blue eyes, which I decided on mostly because it makes it even more clear that his hair isn't naturally black.

- He wears earrings, but his ears aren't actually pierced — they're fake little little clip-on things.

- He wears black nail polish at all times, but it's always chipped because he gets the cheapest stuff he can get his hands on.

- His hair (especially his bangs) get very long at times because he gets too socially anxious to go to the hairdresser. Back in middle school, he used to have Janus cut them for him (Remus could have done a better job but trusting him with scissors would have been a mistake). Now he mostly cuts it off by himself — it looks about as good as his dye job.

- Virgil's purple hoodie is a leftover from Remus' fashion design endeavors that Remus thought didn't look weird enough.

Janus:

- He has naturally strawberry blonde hair. The length is very important to him — he started growing it towards the end of middle school. (He allows Remus to experiment with hairdos sometimes as long as he doesn't cut anything off. I need to draw that sometime)

- I'm not entirely settled on his eye color. I know at least one of his eyes is a very pretty brown, but I have half a mind to give him a yellow glass eye for his left side — I'm not sure it'd make any logistic sense for his situation, though

- He got his ears actually pierced when he was 16.

- He also may or may not have a forked tongue. Not sure how I'd ever be able to show that off — but if he does have one, then Remus definitely was the one to encourage him to do it.

- His fashion style was definitely influenced by being around Remus (who may have used him as a mannequin/dummy because he's small.) so much. Remus also attempted to make clothes for him, but Janus is very fancy and picky, so he doesn't wear those clothes very often (though he might accessorize with stuff Remus made for him occasionally).

Remus:

- He has naturally very dark hair. He uses temporary/surface level dyes a lot, but if he's using permanent or semi-permanent dyes, he's usually limiting himself to the grey streak — it's kind of a sample strand, since it's already bleached. He 100% copied his hairstyle from Roman's.

- He (and Roman, of course) has greenish blue eyes.

- Janus paid for him to get his ears (and eyebrows) professionally pierced because otherwise he was just going to do it himself with a sewing needle.

- He has a lot of very shitty stick-and-poke tattoos he made/makes on himself. They're almost always hidden by his outfits.

- Speaking of which, Remus makes most of his outfits costumes himself. The quality of the work may vary, but they are always way too over-the-top for casual wear, because he stands out anyway, so... in for a penny, right. (As I said in the tags of a post: he is very creative and has no shame or social anxiety at all, so he had his whole aesthetic ("overdramatic green") figured out by the time he was 13)

- He also has SH scars, but, again — they're hidden by his outfits 99% of the time. He's a slut who never shows an inch of skin

Okay but somehow the champions or extremely trusted followers get to raise the little god babies.

First off that's SO many kids in Vox Machina. My initial thought was the matron being raised by Vax like Purvan helped raise Emirah.

But then I thought about Pike and her connection to the Everlight (and allegedly they might be distantly related 👀) so I think the Everlight would go to Pike.

THEN I thought about Vex's connection to the Dawn Father. And sure there are probably people more qualified, but Vex does have his blessing. And the Dawn Father thinks about Aiden then. His softness, his kindness, and made the decision that if he could be raised in close proximity to his siblings, he would.

Second, I think the Stormlord would go to Yasha (and Beau. They wanted to adopt anyway) because of her devotion and her celestial blood.

And in the same vein as the Dawn Father and Aiden, the Wild Mother would go to Caduceus. He and his family had been so good to her. And she'd be raised so close to at least one of her siblings.

MADE EDITS i couldn't stop thinking about their outfits and like,, the aspects i liked and thought felt very winx and in line with the individual characters and the aspects i Hated and thought sucked dookie SO i made some edits :)

biggest changes are to musa, aisha, and stella! actually changed the clothes there. flora and tecna i just adjusted the colors (in flora's case to further unwhitewash her and saturate her clothing more and in tecna's case to bring back her pink hair and green and cyan).

explanations on changes below!

I'll start with the simpler edits!

For Tecna, I just wanted to play around with her og colors lol I actually LOVE her new look and I would love to see this be the final design!! It's SO tecna and fits in with the rest of the winx i love it soo much :') I do think they should bring back her pinker hair though! And again, would love to see the green and cyan make an appearance. I feel like neon green is just very classy techy character. And while it is cliche, I do love it akjgd plus I think it looks good on her and makes the other colors stand out more imo! (but maybe this new, pinker look will make people like her more idk :') justice for tecna my beloved :'))

For Flora, I darkened her skin more for obvious reasons. And then I added more saturation to the colors and added back the warmer tones they took out. Imo, the darker, desaturated, and cooler toned look for Flora only works in very specific circumstances. Color theory rainbow!! Bring back the brightness! The color!! The warmth!!

Which brings me to Stella ohmygod,,, please,,,, please stop desaturating her she looks so pale and sick and lifeless STOP please :') Anyway lol, obviously brought back the brighter orange! I also took away the random sleeve. It's cute but it just didn't feel very Stella at the time? The tube top look is Very Classic Stella (very much giving s3 casual but in orange). Tbh, I don't love the dress itself, but I do think it looks better once you add more of Stella's colors. I also tanned her skin more and made her hair more yellow + brighter! Just like with Flora, color theory is important for media!! This Stella design just does Not give sunny, optimistic character. It's giving the gap (aka BORING aljdhg)

Aisha's design stumped me for a bit, I won't lie. I couldn't figure out exactly what I didn't like. But I got it!! One, way too symmetrical imo. Yes, Aisha does have some very symmetrical looks, but like 80% of her looks are very asymmetrical. I also didn't love that it didn't incorporate more of Aisha's powers. It really just went for *vaguely sporty* and didn't try to bring anything else to the table. And some people might say that Aisha's og looks were like that too, but I disagree! They told a story! She's a brave adventurer, a dancer, a princess, etcetc!! This tells me "oh yeah this girl might like to do yoga. cool."

Anyway! So I made Aisha's pants baggier because let's be fucking real for a sec. Changed the design on the pants slightly to make it asymmetrical and incorporated a wave design. Took away that bottom shiny fabric of her shirt. I tried to keep it but it just wasn't looking great with the pants changes tbh. Added small waves to the bottom and made it one shoulder! Also added her classic little circle wave design 1. because it's cute and 2. so Musa wouldn't feel so out of place with a design. Tbh, I still don't love the pants... I think maybe that hem could be higher?

For Musa! I've spoken about this before but I do not like the bodysuit. I liked the concept and the vibe it brings, but it looks So uncomfortable and s1 Musa was alllll about being comfortable. It's why so many people think she hates wearing dresses (even though she doesn't). So I kept the vibe, but changed it to the same mesh that's on her right arm! Which like!! I didn't even see that until I started the edit!! It's so,,, unnoticeable which like,, isn't a bad thing? But also? I think the mesh being on her stomach too makes the design as a whole a little more balanced (and it's a nice callback to her og magic winx!). As for the color changes, really just wanted to go back to her reds and dark blues. I don't Hate the color scheme, but I also don't love it. And I think this feels a lot more like Musa yknow? Also darkened her hair cause fuck that dude

Anyway lol it's not the best edit so don't look too hard :') I just wanted to explore what I liked about the designs and what I didn't. We did get to see a little bit of Bloom's casual, but I want to wait until we get a closer look to speak on it/make edits. Also tbh, I don't really love Flora's outfit but I didn't want to completely redesign her and I concede that this is something she would wear (although it feels more like s4 cowgirl time/s5 casual and not s1 new student time but Fine). For now, I'm gonna pretend the trailer showed us my edit of Stella and not what it really showed. I can't get pale pinterest stella out of my head,,, aggghhhh

i have tried reaching out to different people in the past year or so but it never works. i understand its my own fault for letting relationships decay because of my own insecurities and issues but that doesn't mean i can just will myself to think or believe different things about myself. it's a self fulfilling prophecy ; i think people don't like me so i don't reach out so people don't like me etc . i am sure you do not want to hear me list all the things i want to say in response so i will put them in the tags.

sorry im just thinking about bcs but like. why not add a few smaller scenes of gus interacting with his own men? why does it seem like, in comparison, mike is almost immediately elevated to a higher status than those two in bcs purely because we actually get to see him having normal conversations with gus? like i understand they might not keep the plot moving as well because of the fact obviously if victor is currently doing something it’s because gus told him to etc. but for the most part all of the smaller interactions gus does have with those two ends up being in a somewhat high stress situation where it feels very tense between everyone. and it’s just like damn! is it always like that?? why do those two even care that much about their jobs if their boss is a bit of a dick? etc. i think even an additional scene or two with those guys (either alone or the both of them) talking with gus in a more normal situation could’ve both added a bit more depth into how gus treats his employees (we got a lot with how he treats lyle and co., but not a whole lot with the illegal side of things), how comfortable vic and tyrus feel around him in a calmer setting, and exactly why they both feel the need to be as loyal as they are to the guy.

and also on the other side of this i don't think it'd hurt to maybe elaborate on their pay just a bit..? i'm not saying to randomly put a number out into the atmosphere but i just mean some smaller things like. do they buy nicer things for themselves? what's their housing situation? what's their car situation? are the escalade / yukon their own vehicles or does gus just use those two for business situations? do they use them when they're doing their own stuff off the clock or do they have their own cars? etc. that can also help with understanding their motivations a bit. don't get me wrong i don't think they should be visibly rich or something because that's not what gus would want but just smaller things! cause it's easy to write their loyalty off as Well they probably get paid super well, which i'm sure is true, but if they don't show a single hint of that then what's the point. even something as simple as giving tyrus a nice watch, or maybe victor having a nicer looking gun, etc. something small like that. because as it stands right now the average 41 year old viewer who watched the show once only knows and will only ever know victor and tyrus as those two guys in the background who do random stuff for gus with no clear motivation. just the personification of "On it boss (salute emoji)". and to be honest this is true for a whole lot of fans who do watch the show multiple times and enjoy thinking about it more in depth, because on screen we barely have anything about the two.

and to be clear i'm not trying to say we should have an episode just for them or something like no i understand they're side characters. i understand we don't need all that. and i understand this is also primarily Jimmy's show. but it's not like these two are on the same level as like, arlo or paige and kevin etc. these guys have been around since brba. victor was literally introduced in the same episode gus was. and they are a huge part of gus's story, especially in brba. s4 wouldn't have been what it was without victor and tyrus. and in bcs, ignacio's situation wouldn't have been the same if it weren't for victor and tyrus as well. and i just personally believe that if their goal with gus in bcs was to go back and elaborate on how everything came to be and show what he was like a few years younger, they could've dragged victor and tyrus into that. and i think his character would've benefited from taking that extra step with those two.

saw your post about no longer wanting to be a phan blog and i just wanted to say i get you especially the reaction to this tour has been very uncomfortable and i could never figure out exactly why it felt... overbearing ig??? but it has been building and the tour leak and announcement just seemed to put a spotlight on people seem to have learned nothing from the previous years and seem to think that now that they're back it's okay to push their boundaries because they're engaging with us again. and tbh i appreciate you for helping put into words the discomfort ive been feeling and it sucks that it turned out like this that the enjoyment of the thing gets harder because of others

I've seen/felt it building up over the past few months but I kept ignoring it because I figured it was just newer phans who didn't know about any of "the lore"

But every time I'd check their page out it would almost always be someone in their mid-late 20s who has been around for 10+ years
