Can we get more info on how this au would play out? How would these come to if at all?
Tumblr media
it's a BIG wip rn as it's a mix of half baked ideas and plot points but here's the general idea
sky and gray would be two brothers who looked after their mother and little siblings in a war devastated town. pickings are scarce and their home has become even more dangerous poisoned food is laid out to cull the cat problem. gray is the more serious and standoffish of the two while sky has no issue making new friends with the local cats, including bumble, turtle, and dove.
it's one day that they find storm, half-beaten and starving, having escaped from the forest after fleeing one-eye's group. they help her out though gray reaaaally isn't happy about giving up food and shelter to a total stranger. storm tries to get them to help her go back and rescue her mate bright from the group but they refuse, even sky who knows the trouble isn't worth it. she stays with bumble and turtle while she's recovering.
storm ends up telling the little group of friends stories about the forest and the cats who live there as well as how one eye has ruined the peace between them.
[this is where im a bit faint on the connection but uhh go with it be nice to me]
my initial idea is that one-eye's group starts expanding to the city and that provokes sky and gray to start actually getting the plot going by fighting back but it's a work in progress! either way uh insert inciting incident here to start the plot.
using dove's connections throughout the area, they gather cats (including the future founders) as well as find agents in one-eye's cats, including lion who begins to grow weary of all the fighting and disillusioned with promises of power. i love the idea of he, jay, and dove form a little family unit after bonding through strategizing which i think serves as a nice contrast to how distant their reincarnations are. they "earn" their reincarnations through what a group team they are in helping organize the resistance against one-eye.
i'd imagine this is where the kittypet versus wild cat shit starts. the house cats can go home whenever they want (and quite frankly don't have to return when the fighting starts) and never worry about food, jealousy and resentment begins to build up from the wild cats who know they'd be culled if they even attempted going near the humans.
during this fighting and organizing, gray and sky begin to change - with gray opening up more to other cats and embracing the community while sky relishes in the chance to lead and excitedly gathers his lead fighters to practice battle strategies and discuss strategy. it's during this time gray notices his brother's favoritism towards the stronger of the group and their rift deepens when jagged has his accident and wrecks his leg.
they take him to jay and midnight after dove tells them about a strange cat who lives in highstones (this is their first meeting with the duo) and while jay manages to heal the leg as best he can, jagged can't properly walk (like in canon). the difference is immediate in his treatment from his brothers: while gray still sticks with him, sky becomes standoffish and no longer includes jagged in his planning.
i'm not sure about thunder here tbh i think storm would act as a surrogate for sky who wanted children and that would be that?
they fight one-eye using the respective talents of each of them (sneakiness, trees, river, etc.) and win and the cats are unsure what to do next. they've gathered together to fight and now that they've won, what do they do now? sky takes the lead and opts to split them up, there's no need for everyone to gather in one location (which realizing now would be neat if it was fourtrees? yay symbolism), why not just move everyone back to their respective homes? while cats are sad to say goodbye they eventually part and, since they've all sort of bonded with one another, split to live in their respective home turfs.
sky takes authority over his group immediately while gray, wind, and gorse all share authority over the moor cats. during this period, sky begins to grow more hostile and starts establishing borders, which causes the other leaders to begin establishing their own borders.
horrified at the deepening rifts between his family and friends, gray tries to protest these developments with his supporters but he's vastly outnumbered by those in the newly formed groups who, as tensions rise on the border, have begun to grow an identity around their allegiances. gray desperately tries to protest this, even going so far as to sabotage battles and attempt to salvage their old friendships but he and his supporters are eventually driven back to the town area they once lived in.
desperate, hungry, and unsure what else to do to try and save the friends he'd gotten so close to: he attempts to plead with them by asking them to come to fourtrees to talk. they all come...with an army and much like in the books, all hell breaks loose.
sky pins his brother, desperate to understand just why why he would sabotage everything they'd work so hard to build. gray glares back, none of this is what they built, this chaos is what sky used to propel himself to the top and as sky sinks his claws into gray's neck, he rasps: "kill me. kill me and live with the memory. then tell the stars that you won."
and sky does and the stars reward him by naming him the first leader of the clans: skystar.

Cynical prediction (non-election-related):
One big eventual consequence of widespread genAI implementation is going to be the revelation that a lot of things we assumed were checked by more than one person before they went out to the general public never actually were, not in the detail you'd hope for at least - we've actually been relying on the diligence and competence of individuals who were not actually tested on or rewarded for displaying this.

What is Twisted Wonderland and how would you sell someone on it?
Ohoho. Ohohohoho. Anon. You have activated my trap card >:D
(I'm about to be soooo annoying/unhinged and I'm sorry. I'm not.)
Alright, so:
Tumblr media
Twisted Wonderland is a Disney mobile game made in Japan and co-produced by Aniplex. (Yes, that Aniplex.) I'm not here to sell you on the game, so much as the story, but it is a sort of story-book rpg with turned based fights and rhythm games, where you build character units from a gacha pull. As far as gameplay goes, it's very simple, and most of the emphasis lies on the characters and the story. And it's wonderful.
The on-the-box description of this game doesn't do it justice, per se, but that might be because Disney has a little bit of influence on it and they suck at knowing who their target audience is. It is about a high school based on classic Disney villains—but no, not in the way you're thinking, because I once made that mistake too. It is not a villain school. Rather, the world of Twisted Wonderland is its own entity, with characters built as sort of nods or foils to classic Disney characters. The world itself is somewhat built with these films as its past, and history has become so twisted (ha) that modern society views some of these classic villains as the heroes or supporting characters of their stories, and respect them as The Great Seven. (The seven in question being the Queen of Hearts, Scar, Ursula, Jafar, the Evil/Raven Queen, Hades, and Maleficent. None of them are remembered by name, though.)
The game takes place in the modern era, a society with both technology and magic. Specifically, it takes place in a magic high school called Night Raven College, an all-boys dormitory prep school where the only requirement to get in is a magic mirror that peers into your soul and determines whether or not you can a) do magic and b) kin the Great Seven. And, of course, the player character is a regular-ass human who gets isekai'd in and gets stuck with a talking magic cat direbeast named Grim.
Now. That is the general synopsis. I, on the other hand, affectionately call this the Mental Breakdown game.
See, here's the kicker. The magic system is pretty nifty; while it's functions as a standard magic-is-magic sort of soft system, it has ✨consequences✨
Magic has this byproduct called blot. It's this icky stuff that builds up when you a) use too much magic and/or b) are emotionally distressed. But less so in a "I'm panicked right now" sort of way and more so in a "I have chronic depression and/or anxiety" sort of way. And, when a mage is powerful enough, and sad boi enough, and then goes and uses way too much magic and sad boi juice in one sitting, this amazing phenomenon occurs called "overblot"—which is pretty much a super-powered evil form that turns the mage into the darkest form of themselves and then uses magic until they die.
Naturally, this happens in the game. A lot. The formula is pretty much that each "book" of the story, there is an overblot. One for each of the seven dorms, which are based off of the seven villains/the movies they come from. (And "based on" is pretty loose. Yes you can see the similarities, but these are dumb teenage boys with their own hopes and aspirations, and, sometimes, the game completely lies to you about what character they emulate the most. The guy who's Jafar? Well yes but he's actually just a really stressed out Genie stand in. The Hades guy? Whoops that's Meg. Is that a card soldier or the White Rabbit? Doesn't matter, he's got problems.)
The characters are so well written. I could gush about them forever, and they are the driving points of this plot and it means everything to me. They are some of the most traumatized and messed up individuals, but also, they are dumb teenage boys who do dumb teenage boys things. It is all incredibly well balanced and startlingly realistic for a game that amounts to beating the emotional constipation around people. Mostly because it cannot be beat out of them. The blot can, but they have to deal with their emotions with their own two hands, with varying levels of success.
And the shenanigans!!!! Oh, the shenanigans. I call this the Emotional Trauma game but I have once laughed so hard someone heard me through the floor. It's not all doom and gloom for sure. Sometimes you're watching your friend fall apart because his toxic mother instilled debilitating perfectionism and slowly start making enemies of everyone and sometimes you're sending three of the most gremlin students plus one cinnamon roll to infiltrate a gala that a bunch of weather fairies are throwing in the greenhouse because they stole your temperature regulating magestone to be shiny jewelry and you want it to stop snowing inside your dorm room. And sometimes you can have the exact same character who experienced losing his little brother right in front of him gush about a magical girl sledding anime and all of his gacha games. It is the best of both worlds.
And, that's not all! No, no. We get amazing character interactions. Not just pre-determined friend group interactions, but also random interactions. Yana Toboso (the writer/artist) really likes to stick names in a jar sometimes and make them interact and it is the best thing ever. Every single one of these characters I hold in my hands. Every single one of them gets to have their moment to shine. You can emotionally invest in all of them and be rewarded for it.
The game itself is free and pretty easy to get into. There's not really a bad power creep so you can get through it with what you got. Of course the fun part of collecting cards is that there are stories attached to them that you can watch, and those are also sources of joy. (And it's well documented, so you can find things online pretty easily to catch up and see more.)
I just think it's neat. (Read: I accidentally became wholly obsessed with this game and its characters and they are all blorbos to me.)
You should definitely fall into this rabbit hole with me :))) It's so worth it :)))

Can I send your google history further into the grave and ask what medieval christians thought about sex with Jesus? Does that come up at all as being a thing does any kind of “I had this vivid sexual dream/hallucination(?)” fall into witchcraft by default
I can probably answer this without too much research, although I did Google "medieval Christians sex Jesus" just in case there was some wild bit of trivia I wasn't aware of (all of the results were just people debating whether or not Jesus was a sex haver, which if you don't know is a huge argument amongst some theologians lol).
The reason medieval Christians were so hung up on the devil gettin' it on with human women is essentially the same reason many still want Jesus to be a virgin now, and that's just because Christianity has demonized sexuality (particularly female and queer sexuality) for centuries as a means of control. In these kinds of stories, the devil is always presented as masculine, and the victim/sinful willing participant is always a woman, and that's not an accident.
The stories from the Malleus Maleficarum (handbook on witches/how to identify and prosecute them from the 1400s) and the book below (too long of a title to type lol, 1697) present themselves as true accounts but really they read more like morality tales, warning women that any exploration of sexuality outside of reproduction with a husband will land them in some kind of eternal suffering. For example, a popular archetype is the devil donning some sort of human man disguise and seducing an unsuspecting woman, after which she is damned to hell for the sin of being deceived/being horny.
Tumblr media
So all of that to say, sex = evil and bad, and therefore it was not associated with Jesus. The fact that Jesus was basically asexual was held up as a sign of his perfection and purity, so saying you had some kind of dream or vision about boning God's son would 1. be taboo because as a woman you weren't supposed to be talking about sex period and 2. probably get you suspected of some kind of witchcraft because the only people allowed to have any direct communication with God/Jesus, including visions of their plans, were the men who ran your church.
It's a notion that's carried over to the present day as we know, since there's still a stigma around anything sexual within the greater Christian culture, especially when it comes to female Christians.

Gonna head to bed, but I have a few quick things to say:
Leo wasn't vanished in the prison, she voided. She was perfectly calm when she returned. She definitely wouldn't have been chilling on the couch if she had been threatened.
Q!foolish might've only said one lie(the richas one), but he was going all in on being as deceitful as possible when answering any questions.
Believe it or not, q!foolish does get taken seriously. Like there is a reason why q!foolish was a founding member of theory bros. He is/was very much trusted and provided good Intel on multiple occasions. It really annoys me when people try to make the claim that other q!characters don't take him seriously, when they all do. The reason he gets away with a lot of his pro-federation stuff is because people trust him. Not because they think he's too stupid and silly to work for the federation.
I fully believe he had the choice yesterday to say no, I'm not sure I believe cucurucho would've accepted a no today. Either way, he didn't actually entertain the idea of saying no. He was looking for all the reasons to say yes.

actually the story of the Azuma is really interesting for the sheer amount of anachronisms it is subjected to.
So the confederacy tried to buy a ship from the french government so they could do privateering raids on american shipping (like classic piracy).
The confederate representative spoke directly to Napoleon III of France (The real napoleon's idiot nephew), because it was illegal to sell weapons to the confederacy under french law and they figured it would be easier for the emperor to circumvent french law than anybody else, which was true.
The ship was constructed under the false name of Sphynx, to encourage rumors it was intended to be sold to Egypt (A protectorate of the ottoman empire, successor state to the roman empire (or at least that's what they said)).
However it was eventually caught as an intended sale to the confederacy, so the sale was cancelled and it was instead sold to Denmark under the name Stærkodder, as a combatant in the Second Schleswig War (Otto Von Bismarck's efforts to unite Germany). Before it could be used for doing war things with, Denmark lost.
After Denmark lost, they sold Stærkodder to the Confederacy in early 1865, who renamed it to the CSS Stonewall. Before it could be actually used for doing war things with, The Confederacy lost. It was then sold to Cuba (which was still a Spanish colony!), and then again to the US. Here's a photograph of it around this time.
Tumblr media
At this point the Tokugawa Shogunate purchased the Stonewall, seeking to reinforce their navy. They renamed it Kotetsu (Ironclad). And buddy. You're not gonna believe what happens next. Before the Tokugawa government could use it, the Boshin War started, and. Shockingly. The Tokugawa Shogunate lost the war.
Instead, it was sold to the Shogunate's opponent in the Boshin War, The Meiji Government (who gave it its final name, Azuma), where it was used in the battle of Hakodate to defeat the remnants of the shogunate navy. Here's a sketch of it during this battle.
Tumblr media
So the ship was sold by a Napoleon to the Danish fighting Otto Von Bismarck, who then sold it to the Confederacy in the american civil war, who then ended up selling it to the Tokugawa Shogunate in the japanese civil war! This one ship was used by danish monarchists, american cowboys, and japanese samurai, all within 5 years!

I just feel like the face works for what face I have in mind for her very well. From what I understood she's a model, so if I ever do icons I probably won't be able to make much variety through them, but, hey.

If you’re still into mystery dungeon, can I ask you a question about your PMD story?
I read in your post with the fire type starter statue that fire types were oppressed in the past, do you think you could please go into more detail about that? It sounds really interesting!
Yee I can give an explanation on that! Lil long so it'll be explained under the cut:
So basically fire type Pokemon in this setting have always had at least a low level of stigma against them due to the sort of general fear of wildfire and other forms of fire destruction and its associations. There are a few other Pokemon types who see similar stigmas against them such as dragon types (for reasons similar to fire types), ghost+dark (because other mons are afraid of them), and bug (for reasons like "pestilence" and again fear).
There was an event in this setting known as the "Reign of Fire", which was an attempt at conquest a few hundred years ago by a Charizard known as Blast Burn, who lead a small band across the continent razing the countryside and homes with intent to claim territory and rule unchallenged. During this time, humanity had disappeared not very long ago, which gave opportunities for various Pokemon extremist groups to try and assert power and control.
Eventually, retaliation groups formed and hunted down and killed Blast Burn and his close allies. But when they succeeded with that, misplaced blame and preexisting bias encouraged some of these Pokemon to continue with an elimination effort against fire type Pokemon, worsening the deadly conflict.
So for a while there was a cycle of persecution, which didn't exactly see a peaceful end. Instead the only end to the conflict came when various anti-fire type organizations saw their disbanding over leaders dying or going into hiding (one such major figure being a Golduck known as Redgem).
You started to see a rise in places labeling themselves as explicitly pro-fire type to combat the lingering conflicts, and it only really ended "fully" when enough non-fire types showed their support through policy and direct action.
Even in the modern age there remains some stigma, some areas worse than others, but thankfully the systemic aspect has almost entirely disappeared. Like with any kind of oppression though there are still some who are generationally affected, whether through loss of homes, family, etc. Some areas also still have policies in place that check for fire type discrimination.
NOTE: As a sort of disclaimer I wanna mention that this is not meant to like, represent or mirror any specific real world oppression or conflict. It's not an intentional allegory cuz I think it can be easy to kind of make yknow "fantasy racism" types of things represent issues wrong. This is simply a form of oppression that exists solely within this setting, even if it borrows some language from some of the ways people advocate and talk about oppression+discrimination.

I got tagged by @vogelmeister to put my playlist on shuffle and list the first 10 songs and I can do that while studying! (hopefully)
Death by a Thousand Cuts - Live from Paris by Taylor Swift (It feels appropriate to start with this ngl)
Hello Goodbye by The Beatles (A bit of a whiplash after the previous tbh)
Blank Space by Taylor Swift (Can't believe I got Taylor Swift twice already, that is not statistically accurate)
Tout l'Universe by Gjon's Tears (Forgot this song was in my playlist)
Bring on the Monsters from The Lightning Thief Musical (heck yeah! BRING ON THE MONSTERS BRING ON THE MONSTERS BRING ON THE REAL WORLD)
It's Quiet Uptown from Hamilton (a way to ruin the mood)
Show Yourself from Frozen II (I was obsessed with this song in early 2020)
Highway to Hell by AC/DC (ehmm that's another mood change)
Okay by this point I had been reshuffling too much (see the tags) to call this a genuine shuffle, because like at what point is it Spotify's algorithm fucking with me and at what point is it my own disbelief in the chance of getting 3 musical songs in a row, so I'm redoing it with a random number generator and no reshuffling any more:
More Than a Feeling by Boston (this was in the Inside Out trailer and I loved the song so much back then)
Waving Through a Window from Dear Evan Hansen (I know, but it's a good song)
Arcade by Duncan Laurence (we actually won Eurovision with this, unbelievable)
Defying Gravity from Wicked (forever sad I can't sing this + that I didn't see Wicked when it played here) (also fun fact the random number generator picked this one twice but I felt it was fair to reshuffle that, as we're looking for 10 songs)
Dream by Imagine Dragons (the story of how I found this song is kinda embarrassing so not gonna share that here, I like the song though)
Ålderdomshemmet by Miss Li (Swedish!!! And I like Miss Li, this song is cute)
Alla gör slut by Felicia Takman (More Swedish? More likely than I thought)
10 Years by Daði Freyr (This was robbed at Eurovision 2021)
First Burn, a different version of Burn from Hamilton (I was OBSESSED when this came out and it is still really good)
The Schuyler Sisters from Hamilton (ANGELICAAA Peggy ELIIIIZA!)
Not tagging anyone because I'm burned out from my rage at Spotify, but feel free to do this and say I tagged you

hi oh my gosh so I took a quick scroll through your DOTC au and I think it will be the only thing I think about for the next few weeks. Could you share any details on Jagged Peak in your au? I might have missed him in the tag but I wonder how much his character and relationships with hos brothers are changed from canon. Have a lovely day
this is like like 80% improv and 20% working with actual ideas
Peak is born to Fluttering in the abandoned, worn down townhouse his mothers and his brothers call home. Earned his name after Fluttering delivered him on the top floor, "the peak". He's pretty similar to canon in being rambunctious, curious, and eager to explore and often bothers his brothers of telling him stories of the world beyond the townhouse perimeter.
Peak looks up to Sky in the beginning, which, everyone does. Sky in this is charismatic and friendly, with a controlling streak that, in their situation, is easy to cover up. Peak usually pads after him, pleading for stories and lessons on how to hunt and fight.
On the other paw, he and Gray are...fine. Gray's standoffish and kind of mousy, more interested in making sure his mother and little brother are fed than entertained. Gray's not popular on his own, scragglier and not nearly as charismatic as his brother. But he's smart, and he tries to at least impart that wisdom on his brother.
As a kitten, Peak doesn't really pick up on it but as he grows older, he comes to appreciate the way Gray tried to set him up for the future.
The day they meet Storm, Peak sneaks out after his brothers. This is where his opinion splits with Sky immediately offering shelter to the wounded and hungry cat, while Gray immediately worries about giving up space as well as food. It's also where Gray is forced to confront his own reluctance to help others, when Peak, his own little brother, looks upset at Gray's apathy.
When no one, neither Sky or Gray, want to step up to help Storm when she pleads for their aid in rescuing her mate Bright from One-Eye's group - Peak decides to take matters into his own paws and sneak out towards the forest. Gray and Storm quickly manage to catch him and find him before members of One-Eye group does. But, with some pleading from Jagged, they opt to at least survey the camp and see if they even have a chance.
...And they do, Gray concludes, to the surprise of both Sky and Peak. The camp is hardly well reinforced and most cats are asleep, with the guards leaving multiple blind spots open. Peak could slip in and find Bright with Sky acting as his guardian. A plan could work, if they're careful, they just need a distraction-
"I'm...fast." Gray says carefully, his paws feeling hot as his brother's turn their stares from the camp below to him. "You're fast?" Sky echoes, raising a brow as he examines Gray's face. Gray flinches at his brother's tone, suddenly feeling small and unsure of himself. "Super fast!" Peak chimes in, bouncing over to them, tail sticking straight up. "Gray's so fast he can outrun, um...cars!" "Cars?" Sky turns his attention to Peak. "That's what Bumble says humans- ah, twolegs call monsters." Sky rolls his eyes and shakes his head, "Bumble and her made up words- look, it doesn't matter if you can outrun monsters. Can you outrun a hoard of angry forest cats?" Gray pauses, doubt creeping into his chest, before he meets Peak's gaze. His little brother offers him a look of unbridled hope and confidence, and Gray meets Sky's gaze and gives a confident nod. "I know I can."
And it works! It's the trio's first big success and one that cements Peak as part of the team. He's the balance of the duo, the one who sees the best in them...and also is the one that keeps Gray and Sky from squabbling until nothing is done.
This attack, however, ends up provoking One-Eye to expand to the city and the trio and their friends are pushed to band together to fight back.
Peak is an outspoken and vocal member of the group, and ends up getting pretty close with a former member of One-Eye's group, Holly.
When Sky begins to show his more controlling traits, his refusal for compromise, and a mean streak that grows...Peak doesn't see it. Even when Gray tries to show him, Peak is still blinded by his admiration for his brother. Who would blame him? Sky has been nothing but a source of the strength for their band of rebels, even when he berates cats for not bringing enough food back, even when he makes jabs at Bumble's uselessness...it's just the stress of leadership, some cat has to keep them pushing themselves.
That is, of course, until the accident.
It's no training incident, it's a planned attack to conquer and divide One-Eye's forces. When Wind's runners lead their enemies to the trees, where Peak and the other cats are waiting to drop down and ambush them...something goes wrong. Peak lands wrong, wrecking his leg and ruining the ambush as his fellow rebels are forced to carry him and retreat. It's a devastating loss as the action allows One-Eye to regain that portion of the territory.
And Sky is furious.
The cats take him to Midnight and Jay's at the highstones, where Peak eventually does recover...but is no longer able to walk like he used to. This is also what prompts Jay to move in with the rebels, using Peak's injury as a guise to talk to cats like him.
The injury leaves a distinct jagged mark on his leg.
The Clan is split, and both Gray and Sky fight nonstop about their brother. One begging the other to give a damn about something other than the loss, while the other can't even look at their little brother without feeling angry.
And Peak? He begins to flounder, caught in feelings of anger and self-loathing. Sky won't look at him, Gray won't leave him alone. He can barely walk, he can barely hunt, and he can't fight- he's useless to the rebellion now. He's ruined everything and he'll never be able to fix things.
So...Gray sends him away. Not to hide him, Gray assures, but for Peak to heal. The base camp is impacting his mental health, everyone is angry and hungry and constantly looking out for an attack. It's not good for Peak, and Peak, bitter and numb, shrugs and says whatever is fine with him.
Torn here, I either want him to go with Bumble and Turtle to the twolegplace OR go to Midnight. Either way, he starts to recover and starts learning to value himself. It's important to me he does this without Gray or Sky or Holly, I think it would be good in this case. His admiration for Sky is gone and while he and Gray aren't close outwardly, the event gives them a strong bond.
When the rebels win and the cats split up, I want to send Peak with Thunder in the forest. He's a forest cat at heart to me.
Here's where I'm fuzzy...the build up of Sky and Gray's showdown puts Peak in the middle. He's the negotiator between the two, the bridge, but that bridge got burned the moment Peak's leg was hurt and Sky turned his back on him. Peak doesn't join the battle, he doesn't want to choose sides...but he doesn't want to see his own brothers do this. His absence is crucial, it's the marker in the battle that there is no binding between Sky and Gray. Nothing to unite them.
So Peak stays in Thunder's camp...and when he finds out what Sky's done, he's distraught. But at the same time...what was Gray thinking? No ambush, no plan, he wanted to talk to Sky, wanted to plead with him. What happened to the master tactician? Did his brother want to die? It's hard not to feel abandoned, like Gray did it on purpose and the way the Thunder cats talk about him...it only stokes the flames of resentment.
Peak is never close to Sky again, the two barely acknowledge each other. Peak is...fine in Clan life, he adapts and earns himself the Clan name Jaggedpeak for his service. He's happy with his life with Holly, with their children, but his mind drifts to his brother, Gray, and what could have been had things worked out differently.

Well, my weekend was certainly fruitful.
After yesterday's 5 clears of EX99 (I have everything I can get from EX99 and EX93 for my black mage! No mount from either one yet), I spent today winding down and finally getting around to hunting down all the fishing spots available in ARR and HW locations. Just the fishing ones. I'll have to doublecheck if I've got all the spearfishing ones or not.
Didn't complete all the fishing locations, either -- I mostly did them so that I could have the locations marked in the event I wanted to go looking for the trickier fish. Like finally getting around to that one ARR quest, for example....
