Summary: Marinette’s shop cat eats the plant that’s supposed to tell her who her soulmate is, leaving her to forever wonder who it possibly could have been – or maybe not…?
Author’s Notes/Warnings: Just a silly little something sprinted real quick to shake off the dust after what has undeniably been a Month. @quickspinner found this prompt: “Yesterday a friend gave me a plant and said that on the day it blooms, I’ll meet my soulmate. Today it was eaten by my cat. I’m done.”

“Oh, no! Adrien, no!”
Luka looked up at the shout, his eyebrows lifting at the sound of Marinette’s distress. The swinging doors that led to the back of the flower shop they worked at shot open with a yowl that could only come from the cat Marinette insisted on keeping around the shop, followed quickly by Marinette herself in all her avenging glory. Luka’s eyebrow’s lifted even higher as he saw the broom in her hands – then even higher when she took a swing at the cat she claimed to love so much.

Metadede week: AU
so when i was 12/13 i created a kirby au called "Headcanon Overdose Alternate Universe", abbreviated to "HCODAU", where i was just having too much fun with metadad & creating backstories & some worldbuilding i just decided to create an au for all that stuff without worrying about canon. the writing quality is about as good as you can imagine would come out of a tween. Actual soap opera levels of drama. the main thing i focused on for HCODAU was meta & dedede, who were childhood friends as depicted here with the old designs i used then, & oh man the rest of the story decisions i made were insane. for some reason since meta adopted kirby as soon as he arrived, i thought it'd make ""more sense"" if dedede was never a jerk/rival to him & the events of the very first game just.. never happened ? ? ? & captain vul was a jerk towards kirby instead ? ? also adeleine was secretly a fairy ? ? kracko flooded halcandra ? ? kirby became evil when he got older ? ? there's so much more crazy stuff in there but i think i should stop. anyway this is a lil moment in a fic i created around that time where prince dedede introduces meta to sweets.he was never the same afterwards
