Saph reblogged a post with photos of booty shorts with nuclear waste warnings edited over them like the text was on the ass saying it was a group costume idea, and then I reblogged it saying I wanted a pair. Made some comments like you know what? If I wanted it bad enough, I could probably make a pair. I mess around with clothes a fair amount, I have supplies and some experience

Saph then implored me to follow through on that, to do it for the people who couldn't, and I was already thinking about it so that was enough for me to go you know what? Sure! I'll do that! I just so happen to have an old pair of booty shorts I can put a nuclear waste warning on the ass of :)

I didn't know which warning to do though, hence the poll! Almost 400 people now are having a say in what phrase will end up upon mine buttocks (I'm bleaching them so saph can live vicariously through me, the shorts are mine I'm not giving them away), and I'm planning to make the shorts tomorrow--and possibly the finitar ones tomorrow as well

That's the logistic sequence of events, which you can find on my blog. If you're asking why I'd say yes, the answer is because I think it's fun! It's a silly idea and a ridiculous item of clothing to have, and it plays both into my humor (silly) and my interests (making things but diy and imperfect). I'm not just doing it for Saph, though that was the inspiration. i'm doing it for me, too! For the entertainment and joy of it all.

That's it. Saph reblogged a fun post, I made a comment, I was beseeched to follow through, and now I am! Because it's silly!
