Beckett x F!MC (Ellie Valentine)

Summary: The longer he stared, the more he fell. Game over, Ellie Valentine had taken his heart by storm, and no matter how hard he blushed, he would let her know how much he cared.

Warnings: a very flustered Beckett, beware!

Beckett’s POV

The metal cage that held the theif players was lifting as the announcers voice rang out through the stadium. “Another astounding win by our star players! Valentine has given their team another big step towards the championship win!” Everyone around me cheered and even I couldn’t help a grin. She’s done it again...

“LETS GOOOOOOO!!!! SHE KICKED ASS!” Atlas cheered next to Shreya, who almost had tears in her eyes. “I love being friends with talented people.”

A few minutes later the crowd started to calm down around me, i got up to greet Ellie and congratulate her on yet another astonishing play. Shreya, Griffin, & Atlas followed closely behind.

When I walked to the side of the field, I watched as Ellie celebrated with her team whilst their opponents sighed in defeat. I couldn’t help but feel a little jealous as her mainly male teammates lifted her up while cheering, it seemed unnecessary for them to crowd around her so persistently. Then again, Ellie quickly became popular ever since she stepped foot on campus. People, including myself always felt calm and drawn to her unmatchable charm and energy. Another thing I love about her...

I caught her eye and she flashed a huge smile which made my heart flutter with a thousand butterflies. I felt a heat on my cheeks but managed to smile back instead of drooling.

After a minute more of celebration, Ellie and Zeph walked over to our group like always and we all clapped and congratulated them. Ellie walked straight up to me and wrapped her arms around my neck. Holy crap she’s so cute.

“‘Sup Beckett! How was the show?” She said after stepping back. My face was now red as a tomato as I stuttered over my words.

“It-I-um, you were- um, you were absolutely amazing!” I internally facepalmed at the answer I had managed to get out. She laughed and grabbed my hand before tugging me towards our friends who were already walking a few feet ahead of us.

“Guys! What are you doing now that the game is over?” Ellie asked when we caught up, still holding my hand.

“Shreya and I are heading to a picnic sight to eat lunch.” Atlas threw her arms around Shreya’s shoulders.

“Ooo! That sounds fun! What about you two?” She turned towards Griffin and Zeph.

“G dawg is gonna show me a shop where I can buy theif supplies!” He and Griffin fist bump. After a few more moment of walking, our group made it outside and was greeted by the warmth of the sun.

Ellie smiles up at me. “Remember that French cafe you took me to at the beginning of the school year?” She gave my hand a quick squeeze while asking.

“Yeah, why?” I asked raising a brow at her.

“Ok ok... remember when you promised to bring me there before the school year ended..?” Her smile got bigger as she talked. I suddenly remembered and couldn’t stop a grin from spreading across my face. She remember it!

“I think I see where this is going...”

“Correct!!!”

Ellie says to our group that we’d be going to grab some food. She waved goodbye and tugs me onto a separate path that leads to the teleportation mirrors. After we left she slowed down to chat about the game and I couldn’t help but stare even harder as she talked so animatedly. Her emerald eyes almost looked as if they were glowing and her smile makes the sun pale in comparison. How can one human be so perfect. She eyed me while talking.

“And this guys flag almost got stu- Hey! Are you listening?” She fakes a pout which I found to be heart melting. I chuckle at her and kiss the top of her head, just wanting to be close to her.

“I was originally, but I don’t think you know how distracting you can be even when you’re the one talking.” I see a little blush appear on her cheeks so, feeling bold, I took a deep breath and turned towards her, making her stop walking to pay attention. We had walked down the path and had ended up in a nice quiet area of campus.

“Ellie, I know I can be stubborn sometimes... especially with feelings, but I can’t go on another minute without telling you how much I love and appreciate you...” as I spoke I see her eyes soften and felt my cheeks heat up. I paused and cleared my throat before continuing.

“...The happiness I feel whenever I’m with you is something I never want to lose, and the same goes for the feeling of disappointment when we aren’t together, because in know how much sweeter it will be to see you. I know I can be quite strange and frankly, I’m not sure why you’ve ever had interest in me, I just know that even throughout my life of work and stress, I love you more than I’ve ever loved myself.”

When I finished I saw tears forming in her eyes and a small pout starting to show on her bottom lip.

“Beckett” she sniffed. “I love you too... more than I let you know, but I really really do.” She threw her arms around my neck and crashed her lips onto mine for a sweet moment.

She broke the kiss and ruffled my hair with a smile. “Took us long enough!” She joked before hugging me. I was smiling like a fool.

After a few minutes filled with hugs and kisses. I pull back setting her down on her feet, running a hand across her cheek with a smile. I grab her hand and intertwine our fingers.

“I believe we have a celebratory cafe date to attend to.” I smile as she giggles.

“Come on, nerd.” She winked before tugging me along once again.

Magne: a winged drake with wings made of pure steel! Ms Magne is a beautiful as she is eligible and delights in young eligible dragons courting her with displays of flying prowess. Fun fact: her image has been adopted as the guardian deity of a anarchist town of steel workers. And several women’s refuges. What can she say? She just enjoys flinging abusers and tyrants to the moon~

Toga: Toga and Mustard are the current champs of speedrun village destruction (without flames), if you’ve got a town to with a strong hero presence (or a dragon hunter base) in need of burning, and no one will help you. Maybe you’ve got a job for the lindworm dragon twins! drop ya girl the location and it won’t be a town for much longer💜

Mr. C: a beautiful showman dragon made of pure marble, Sako is the money hoarder dragon, if you got gold that’s left unattended for too long sorry bro, that golds not yours anymore! Now by this point I’m sure you think you know it all about theif king dragon uncle but there is a little fact only a few know. Despite his appearance, Sako isn’t the sparkling marble dragon he pretends to be, oh no oh no. That marble skin of his his a just a marvellous mask, crack his outer shell and you’ll find a golden dragon within.

Jin: a hydra, unlike what the legend might tell you, Jin wasn’t murdered by Hercules or, chicken knees. the many headed hydra lives peacefully underneath a volcano, his the dragon, guardian of the dragon fam. (Hero’s tremble before him!). He mostly spends his day protecting his parner in crime, a dashing, gap toothed, silver back wyrm.

Dabi: his a hybrid, a chimera type dragon, his flames are so cold they’re blistering. The fierce freezerburn dragon of the frozen ruins. No ones sure why he makes his home in that frozen, desolate wasteland of a castle. Maybe it’s something to do with the the single grave stone that sits in the frozen garden?

Kurogiri: if you’ve ever seen the stormy night sky and witnessed two starlights shooting by then perhaps you’ve seen this wyvern passing ahead. No ones ever really fully laid eyes upon him but they say that if you listen closely during his passing you might hear the sound of a child’s laugh. Maybe the storm does not travel alone after all?

Mustard: the other half of the lindworm duo, he spits sleeping gas like sulphur. Unlike his sibling he doesn’t do it for the fanboys, his in it for that sweet, sweet chaos kick. And a spot in rebellious dragons weekly, the top dragon presented crystal podcast.

Shu: self proclaimed, protector knight of dragons! No dragon hunter escapes his blade. Despite his honourable mission, his not overly liked by other dragons. One for his chosen human based form and two, for his obsession with human weapons, every dragons hyper-fixation hoard is different and personal but Shu’s weapon fixation along with his appearance makes him look like the dragon equivalent of an ‘uncle Tom’ 😪. Dragon wise his the most common type of dragon, the green dragon, which was why he choose a more permanent human form to begin with, ya boy just wanted to stand out

Tomura: don’t be fooled by this dragons appearance, he may look like a dragon made of bones and ash with the only colour being the ruby red stones of his eyes but don’t for a second assume his a skeleton. The god of decay rests within those bones. Though if you were to look between those bones you’d find the a figure that’s a lot more human looking then you might expect.

V I b e s: league edition (as inspired by that sweet anon)

Ms Magne: she’s got vibes like freshly spun silk, wrapped around a bottle of perfectly chilled red wine sitting in a candle lit room, scent of cookies and pulpurie wafting gently In the air. Everything about this women’s vibes is decidant and sweet in a very, motherly, wealthy widow way.

Toga: everything about her is excitable, always moving. Her vibes are like a hummingbird in a flower filled garden, bouncing too and throw trying to avoid the rain. Like a catchy pop love song with that foot bounce ability. Always in the back of your vision bouncing along the beat. Think one if those 2000 pop songs that went in all the amvs (like ‘I’m in heaven when you kiss me’)

Mr C: Sako’s vibes are somehow a mixture of the two, the sweet adult decadence of Magne with the unpausable energy of a woodpecker like vibes of Toga, however, unlike Ms Magne, Sako doesn’t have compitant adult vibes. His vibes are wine uncle vibes, that one uncle that’s always on the boarder of surviving, he has the best stories but no one’s sure how his survived to tell the tale.

Mustard: the vibes of a scorpion sitting in the sun, waiting for the right opportunity to strike its prey, might be small, but assume it’s helpless at your own peril.

Jin: Jin’s got the vibes of the first ray of sunshine after a rainstorm, he shines all the brighter because of the storm that came before him. Loving and warm vibes abound.

Shu: pine, smoked meat and car oil, while simultaneously having strong Comic-Con vibes, it’s a strange mixture of vibes shu holds. Like, he has the vibes of a friendly gym guy that got bullied for being a geek when he was small. Nerd energy abound but more of s defender of the other nerds then a true focused geek geek energy anymore.

Dabi: the vibes of a vengeance! Legitimately, this guys devoted himself to being the arm of karma, he may still be a human presence but only barley, he doesn’t eat, doesn’t sleep and doesn’t even move without thinking of his purpose. Think a tiger just before it strikes, low in the grass, eyes focused on its prey with pin point precision. In that moment nothing else exists but the kill.

Kurogiri: ironically, the vibes of a snowman after the clouds have moved away. Beautiful and friendly in the moment but you know as soon as the sun touches him he’ll be gone. And you’ll be left staring at the last place he once stood.

Mura: Jack skeleton’s lament vibes maybe, or more perhaps more accurately; Alucard vibes. Dangerous: definitely, king: certainly, monster: proud to be. He knows what he is and has no illusions, charismatic chaos king vibes. If dabi has the vibes of vengeance, Tomura’s vibes are that of the grimmreapers scyth, a weapon created for a singular purpose. However, it’s capable of far more then just the purpose it was created for, and as long as you’re on the side that’s weilding him you’re set.

Bro bro bro, hear me out!

Au where the league gets hit with a quirk that personifies their quirks. Just Tomura walking around with this gangly long limbed scarecrow elderich monster looking creature that’s just tagging behind him wherever and routinely reaching out to destroy things.

Tomura: I get that destroying things is fun. Destroy whatever you want. Just not my things.

Decay, picking up a mug and watching it crumble in its palm: :D

Tomura, with the sudden realisation of how Kurogiri must have felt for all those years: 😐

Dabi and Spinner legally divorces theirs, Toga’s is vampire Ditto, Sako has clown to clown communications with compress, Magne’s is a glorified fridge magnet and Kurogiri is lost in the cloud sauce.

Ms Magne has your stereotypical middle aged housewives set up, the desk of Karen if you will. Now, she’s not exactly a skilled gamer but she does try her best! She puts in enough effort to be able to play with anyone if they ever ask. She might not be very good but she does like playing Mario kart with the family. Less to do with the game and more to do with the family💜
