“Check.”
“Knife.”
“Check.”
“Poison.”
“Poison?”
“Yes, Drake, poison,” Damian responded, “how else do you think we’ll take down Superman?”
Clark tries not to let the confusion and concern show on his face, he can hear them shuffle around in Gotham arguing over whether it would be better to stab him or shoot him with Kryptonite. The youngest, Damian, was perhaps the most vindictive against him pursuing Bruce.
Bruce, sweet loving Bruce, who checked over his wound despite them healing in seconds, the same Bruce who held his hand and asked if he was alright while behind him, his sons waved their weapons threateningly as Alfred glared daggers at him.
“Master Damian, please, poison is unbecoming,” Alfred voices, “I would also advise you to scheme away from hearing range.”
“Let him hear.”
Clark tried not to laugh, the determination in Damian’s voice was a little amusing. But the point stood, Clark was very much infatuated with Bruce, and was very much willing to go along with the shovel talk.
