hi it’s the anon that keeps blaming themself for online grooming in your asks. i just today realised it might have actually traumatised me even though it feels so stupid because it was just months of online texts when i was 12.

Every time someone in this clique gets an anon they dislike, other members reblog and add rude commentary.

Anons criticized certain members of this groupchat because if you created a private chat to get away from rude anons why are you constantly posting about it?! Every members constantly posts memes and screenshots from it on tumblr, tagging the other members. It feels like they are bragging and rubbing it in peoples faces. Anons gently told the members this was hurting peoples feelings and they got made fun of for having no friends

Anons gently talked to certain writers about how their rape fics are harmful and they themselves are victims and the fics didnt have a trigger warning. V ~ 어/아 /여 보다; try, suggest/order (imperative / attempt; 시도)

Conjugate the stem, then add 보다. Not much else to it!

If we attach ~(으)시다 to the grammar point, then we make it a more formal imperative. But if you use intimate style (반말) with your friends, then conjugating 보다 regularly is fine. Here are some formal examples:

Intimate Style:

Sometimes my Korean friends have a hard time saying something in English, and I have a hard time understanding. Usually when this happens, I say, “한국말로 해 봐” which literally just means, “say it in Korean”. If you’re someone who finds it a bit easier to speak informally (like most learners, lol), then here are some other sentences you can use:

If you want to ask someone if they’ve ever done something, or tried something, then just add a question mark!

감자탕 먹어 봤어요? - have you ever tried gamjatang?

노래방에 가 봤어요? - have you ever been to karaoke?

스키 타 봤어요? - have you ever been skiing?

If you want to say that you haven’t done the thing that they’re asking, then add 안 before the main verb. EX. 아니요. 감자탕 “안” 먹어 봤어요 - No. I haven’t tried gamjatang. You can also use “못” instead of “안”. I have used both in the same context and it means the same thing!

V ~ (보다) + (으)ㄴ 적(이) 있다/없다 = have done V / haven’t done V (experience; 경험)

Another way to express experience in the past with / without 보다 is (으)ㄴ 적(이) 있다/없다. 적 is a dependent noun related to time! Here are some examples:

떡볶이 먹은 적이 있어요 - I’ve eaten tteokbokki (Korean spicy rice cake)

서울에 산* 적이 없어요 - I have never lived in Seoul!

With 보다: 

소주 마셔 본 적이 있어요 - I’ve tried soju

한복 입어 본 적이 없어요 - I haven’t tried wearing a Hanbok!

*살다 (to live) is an irregular ㄹ verb, therefore ㄹ acts as a vowel/is omitted in most grammatical instances. Other irregular ㄹ verbs you may know: 만들다 (to make), 알다 (to know), 울다 (to cry), 열다 (to open), 팔다 (to sell), many more!

When saying that you’ve watched something, or haven’t while using 보다 in the sense of “to see”, you wouldn’t say 봐 봤어요 or 봐 본 적--, it’s just grammatically incorrect and honestly, unnatural sounding. You would just say 본 적 or 봤어요. The Korean person you’re talking to will understand the context instantly. Here are some examples to illustrate this:

영화 기생충 봤어요(?) - Have you seen/I have seen “Parasite”(?)

드라마 알랑말랑 본 적이 있어요 - I’ve watched the drama “알랑말랑”

hey, im sorry if this ends up being way too long or complicated, but im struggling a lot system-wise and you seemed like a good blog to talk to this about since none of my friends will. my partner has basically "system hopped" (i know you probably dont believe thats a thing at all which i guess already discredits me right off the bat) to what is supposedly my headspace before and thats the whole thing that made me """find out""" i was a system? but even after that happened, i have never had any communication with my headmates, nobody else but me EVER fronts, i have zero access to my headspace, ect. and to any average person, describing this would make them go "oh, well your partner is delusional then and youre just a singlet" and thats probably what youre thinking too. and after moths of frustration i have decided i am actually a singlet. but for some reason i find it completely impossible to accept that i actually AM a singlet because just thinking about it and trying to believe it, is sending me into a mental breakdown. i want to cry so hard and i dont know WHY, because i dont even WANT to be a system? it would cause so many issues with family and i would lose a lot of privacy. but for some reason the thought of genuinely just being a singlet feels so WRONG to me and its making me wonder if i have some unchecked mental issues that are making me this way. and for some reason i questioned being a system WAY before i even """found out""" i was, despite showing NO signs or symptoms of it at all. i dont know what youre even gonna make of this because its probably either gonna be "yeah youre partner is just crazy" or "you need to work this out with your partner!!!!" but everytime i try to bring it up to them they just insist that im a system in denial because they are convinced they have SEEN and INTERACTED WITH my system. im gonna end it here since this is WAAAAAY too fucking long, super sorry. answer this if you want but if i was you id probably see the big chunk of text and delete it instantly so i dont blame you if you do that

While we cannot tell you definitively if you are or aren't a system, we can tell you that feeling wrong and uncomfortable with being called a singlet is definitely a sign that you may not be one. You may want to look into labels like Demi-plural, Median, Mediple, or OSDD-1a if you are not sure if you fit into the "usual" labels of plurality, or try looking into Moneotian or Specutien as well if you believe you have headmates but are not able to switch with them. As for "showing no symptoms", a lot of systems don't realize what they are experiencing is actually signs of plurality, especially if they've had little exposure to plural folks in the past. After looking more into plurality as a concept and interacting with more plural folks, a lot of plurals realize what they're experiencing is actually not that different then other plurals, and that's ok!

If you truly believe you have no headmates or headspace, but are uncomfortable with being a singlet, it's alright to try paromancy/tulpamancy to create headmates. Sometimes, through exploring tulpamancy/paromancy, one may discover headmates they didn't realize were there beforehand, and end up with new ones as well!

Regardless of all this, anon, you have no pressure to label yourself as plural or a singlet. In the end, these are just labels, and labels can change and evolve as you grow as a person. And that's alright and normal!

Falling in love with Hiromi Higa

You two first met when you had gone into his flower shop 

You were wondering what was the happiest-looking arrangement they had

Hiromi had pointed out an arrangement with some pink and yellow flowers in it and with that, you had paid for the flowers and left - a smile on your face the entire time

For the rest of the day, Hiromi couldn’t help but think about you

Well mainly how kind and attractive you were ( he had secretly hoped that you would make another appearance in the shop soon )

As if his wishes were answered by the gods, a month later you had wandered back in - looking to see if they still had the same arrangement you bought last month

Normally, Hiromi wouldn’t remember each specific arrangement for people

However, he remembered yours as if you had just gotten them a day ago

Sadly, they didn't have any of the same ones premade in the shop but he was quick to go to the back and quickly arrange something similar to what you had bought last month

After all, it was for you after all

When he came back to the counter, you had paid for them and left once more - never ceasing to be kind to him

This encounter felt more special to Hiromi since you two had some small talk while you paid for the floral arrangement

After that, it was the same story every month: you would come in for the same arrangement and he would make it for you 

However, during your visits, you both seemed to be more chatty with each other

Even in between your visits, you would spot Hiromi running errands and you two would make some time to chat with each other

It didn't seem like it to you, but Hiromi and you had definitely grown closer to each other over the months since you first started coming into the flower shop

Hiromi had cherished every encounter he had with you - thinking about only that until you two had met again

His co-workers had noticed this change and often teased him about having a crush 

They didn’t realize that it was you Hiromi wouldn’t stop thinking about until one of your monthly visits when it seemed Hiromi had a permanent blush on his face the entire time you were in the shop

From then on, his co-workers had hyped him up to make a move on you

It was Valentine’s Day when Hiromi had finally gathered up enough courage to ask you out:

    You had entered the all-too-familiar flower shop, smiling at some of the co-workers as you walked in. Your eyes had glanced at all of the red and pink heart decorations scattered about the store. You would’ve forgotten that it was Valentine’s Day if it wasn’t for the scary amount of hearts in your field of vision.

    As per usual, you went to the counter to order your same happy arrangement when you saw Hiromi Higa already standing there at the counter with it ready. Your small smile had widened when you saw the ginger.

    “ Morning, Y/N!” Hiromi happily greeted you once you approached the counter. “ I saved you time and got your arrangement made early. For being Valentine’s it’s been quite slow,” he said, making small chat while he rang up your arrangement into the cash register. “ Say, do you have a Valentine this year? “ Hiromi asked, his heart was pounding in his ears with nerves.

    You shook your head, laughing. “ No. Not this year. It seems like no one had asked me this year,” you said as if it really didn’t matter to you. After all, you weren’t one to care for the holiday or getting a significant other on the day. 

    “ We’re both in that boat,” Hiromi said, happy that you were still single and he could make a move without worrying about you already being taken.

    He finished your transaction and you quickly took the arrangement into your arms, holding the precious vase tightly. You had said your goodbye to him and had started to turn around when the sound of Hiromi’s voice stopped you.

    “ Wait! Uh, we’re handing out free roses to our customers today. So here’s yours,” he said, handing you a bouquet of 5 roses.

     You smiled widely at the ginger, taking the flowers happily. “ Oh- Thank you! I’ll see you around, “ you smiled, clutching the roses tightly in your hand. With that, you left the flower shop. You noticed all of the other workers have sly smiles or give a thumbs up to someone. 

    You didn’t know what it meant until on your way home, you had noticed the feeling of paper against your palm. You found a spot on the sidewalk clear of all pedestrians and set down your vase, focusing your gaze on the roses. You turned the flowers around until you saw a small rectangle-shaped card tied to the stem of the roses. You examined the card and smiled as you had realized that it was a confession from Hiromi with an address on it to a nice restaurant.

    It was after that that you had started loving Valentine’s Day much more than in the past. After all, it was the day you had realized your feelings for the Hiromi Higa and you two had become a couple.
