Note
Do you ever remember that Jonathan was the only person in s4 to ask Nancy if she was OK and just get so sad for her. Like. She is putting so much on herself to be this fearless teen girl soldier but she just had to relive her worst trauma, she's seen her family dead, she's crying and no one is checking on her or worrying about her feelings, so she shuts them down and goes back to battle mode. But then Jonathan is there and he asks her if she's OK and he tells her that he just wants her to be safe and suddenly she can be a human being again and is loved and valued with no selfishness and no expectation.
Anon stop I'm going to CRY

elaborating on what i will now call the susie save your love au‼️
sort of inspired by @faunshii and their art of s1 robin bc it absolutely works w this idea! pls check them out they’re so awesome😭
but! the idea is that robin and nancy become friends in season 1, teaming up to find barb since they were both her friend. in this scenario robin basically replaces jonathan, who’s on his own hunting for will instead of teaming up with nancy. i think they collaborate sometimes but main pairing is ronance fs
this shifts their dynamic slightly! nancy isn’t stretched so thin when she meets robin and they bond over mutual worry, robin’s rambling is a comfort to nancy way sooner and she readily accepts liking robin, grateful to have a friend especially after barb is confirmed to be dead. when nancy narrowly escapes the upside down robin stays to comfort her just like jonathan did, but this time steve doesn’t assume nancy is cheating bc its the 80s and girls can’t love girls. (DISCLAIMER i dont think nancy ever cheated on steve its what he assumes)
he ends up getting tied into all of it anyways when he tries to find out what nancy is being so secretive about and why she’s talking to robin buckley of all people and its the near the same scene (why r jonathan and robin so similar hold on) and by the end of s1 robin is head over heels for nancy wheeler who hates the nuclear family and is really good with guns. nancy is also enamored with robin but it sorta terrifies her that she seems to have romantic feelings for another girl (nancy is NOT oblivious she’s just scared) so she clings onto steve and their safe relationship.
this is where susie save your love comes in. nancy is really struggling with steve, he keeps trying to get her to forget about barb, he keeps dismissing her grief, she doesn’t even see him the same anymore, or perhaps she was thinking more clearly about the way she saw him. either way, she’s struggling, and the only solace she finds is spending time with robin, who just gets it, and gets her, and ends up inviting robin to come with her hoping to some stupid halloween party to maybe unite the way she feels around robin (so happy) with these social events.
and she obviously gets fucking drunk when robin isn’t there (as far as she knows)
and THEN gets into The Fight with steve and then
susie save your love >:)

also like i rewatched half the show again and reeeally reaffirms my hatred of steven. like even ignoring all the shit he said in s1 about jonathan's family to his face, and got beat to hell as he deserved, and him letting his friends publicly shame nancy for something she didn't even do, even when he's supposedly "gotten better" and turned into a good boy, he's just such an emotionally stunted manbaby who only thinks about himself and his love life like.
2.02. tina's halloween party. nancy doesn't want to go anymore after learning about the holland's futile attempts to find barb, but steve pressures her to under the guise of being normal, stupid teenagers for a night. the exact same thing he did in s1 after prioritizing how he was gonna get in trouble for the party happening over barb literally being missing.
Tumblr media
his girlfriend is sloppy drunk, like he's never seen her act before, on the verge of tears revealing that she's spent the last year blaming herself (and him) for the death of her best friend. but does steven care about that?
Tumblr media
no. no he doesn't. he fixates on her feelings for him. he ignores absolutely everything else she says and abandons her, drunk and alone and crying in the bathroom at a party. he hadn't seen jonathan's arrival at that point, he would've only seen him as he brushed past him on his way out the front door. and then has the gall to snipe about her "other boyfriend" taking her home like he didn't literally storm off!!!!!
and then s4, after he supposedly moved on in s3, he lets a basic stranger, who knows nothing about either of them btw, nudge him into being fixated on nancy again. and as well as that, he is obsessed with robin's love life, which she expresses she doesn't give a shit about right now and she doesn't get why he does.
Tumblr media
there are more important things happening right now, markedly the life-or-death mission they are embarking on and the self-sacrifice being planned by one of their friends and the very end of the world as they know it. does steven listen this time?
Tumblr media
no. he stops nancy on their time-sensitive trek to tell her he's still in love with her and that he wants to have six kids and travel the country in an rv with her. for all his talk about him finally crawling forwards after she metaphorically knocked him on the head, he literally is crawling backwards right now. pathetically, i might add, because nancy clearly isn't into it.
Tumblr media
at least i can be happy in the knowledge that, even though she may have checked him out once or twice this season, nancy does not want him st@ncy bones thank you and good night

Malex & Love Languages in S3
I have been thinking about Malex and love languages in S3 so much after 3x08, because I think what we saw was a dramatic shift in how Malex reads and reacts to each other.
Chasing outlines Malex’s love languages in S1 perfectly in this post and with this gifset, so I don’t think it needs to be rehashed (but definitely check them out first before reading this). I just want to talk about how it relates to Malex in S3 so far, and why the progress we saw from both Michael AND Alex up until 3x08 truly shows just how far they have come as people, and to being able to be together.
Though we don’t have a clear definition of what Michael was going to say to Alex at the bus stop in 3x01, or how he was going to react, we do know from Isobel that he was feeling hopeful about their future together. Malex doesn’t interact until 3x03, and while they trades barbs with each other that is typical for their relationship (especially from Michael, who looks like he hasn’t slept and has been lighting his hand on fire constantly for the past 24 hours), it’s Alex that changes up the dynamic. Alex takes the opportunity to not leave them on a bad note with a fight, and instead openly expresses his own feelings in words to Michael.
Tumblr media
Words, as Chasing stated in her meta, is Michael’s primary love language. It is the one he understands the best when directed at him, and it is also the one he is most often expressing, as well as the one that holds the most emotional weight to him. And you can see from his expression afterwards, it is those words, it is Alex finally expressing his feelings in Michael’s primary love language, that has a major impact on him.
Malex doesn’t interact again until 3x06 - when Michael calls Alex about investigating the bats and the radio tower. Alex’s evasiveness isn’t meant to hurt Michael in any way - it’s one of Alex’s own love languages taking shape. He believes he’s protecting Michael by not including him in his Deep Sky involvement, because the last time he got Michael involved well, Caulfield happened. Jesse putting a gun in Michael’s face happened, despite Alex’s best efforts in trying to keep Michael safe.
It’s here we see Alex’s attempt at verbalizing his protection of Michael.
Tumblr media
And later, just as he is discovering Eduardo’s involvement, he is also listening to Michael’s voicemail telling him he was wrong in what he told Michael (that the radio tower was a dud). He’s making the slow realization that it doesn’t matter if he keeps these things from Michael (because as Chasing stated in her meta, Alex’s protection of others is often unvoiced - he doesn’t feel the need to tell people what he’s doing to keep them safe, he just does it), Michael is going to potentially end up in harm’s way regardless.
So by 3x08, we see Alex put that realization into action by refusing to let Michael go off and find Jones on his own. For once, Alex uses his words, and truly verbalizes his protection properly.
Tumblr media
You can see how deeply it affects Michael almost immediately (because for someone who’s primary love language is words, Michael is rarely ever without them).
Tumblr media
But because of Alex’s words, because Alex is finally speaking Michael’s love language back to him, we see the beginning of a greater understanding between them.
Tumblr media
As Michael goes off about contingency plans in the truck later, Alex shuts him down - all focus, all plan. It’s when he sees how Michael reacts to that, he softens (literally, he exhales, and deflates a little in his seat), and shifts gears. He once again uses his words to explain to Michael why they need to be strategic, why emotions cannot dictate their actions today.
Tumblr media
And Michael immediately recognizes it for what it is, his hand going to Alex’s shoulder to comfort him. Touch is a love language both of them speak and understand, but it is usually Alex using it as an answer to Michael’s words, not the other way around. For once, Michael doesn’t use his words, but keeps his hand on Alex’s neck, stroking his face, letting touch be his reply.
Tumblr media
At the Pony, it continues too. Alex keeps talking. Telling Michael that maybe it’s Nora he’s taken after, not Jones. Reading Michael’s disappointment at not being able to see the tech his mother designed, and offering up trying to get Michael clearance. So when Michael says, “One mission at a time,” it’s not because he has any intention of kissing Alex in that moment, it’s because he’s answering back in his own primary love language. But what he doesn’t expect is for Alex to ask about it, and what he means, looking for clarification.
So Michael answers with Alex’s primary love language, and the one they both share: TOUCH. It’s very reminiscent of their first kiss in the museum, of Alex’s “Okay, talk,” and Michael, who is rarely rendered speechless, simply responds by kissing him.

it is so so so crazy how mike barely does anything when el gets bullied at the rink, and even when he himself is subjected to bullying in s1 but he stood up against troy for calling will names, and will wasn't even there. also, there weren't even indications of him worrying about el possibly liking someone else when she moves away w the byers but is so scared to lose will bc what if he joins another party? :-( he is so passive when it comes to el
Yeah, I agree with you. I've been thinking about the difference in how Mike was when looking for Will vs. when he was looking for El this season as well, and I always felt more of a certain level of giving up and passiveness from him when looking for El that wasn't present when he was searching for Will in season 1 too, and I can't really figure out why that is either. Something just felt.. removed. Off. Maybe that's just me, I don't know.. but to me, he seemed more obsessive about finding Will than he was about finding El (I mean, before the military shootout, he was even fine with not finding her and just going straight to Hawkins, until Unknown Hero Agent Man tells them as he's dying that El is in danger). It's similar to the difference in that Mike never stopped looking for Will in season 1, basically going to the ends of the Earth to find him, and being so easily convinced he was still alive after just hearing his voice once over the walkie talkie, meanwhile with El in season 2 in stark contrast, he assumed she was dead (see the quote when he's talking to Max in episode 8, "Yeah, she was (awesome). Until that thing took her, just like it took Bob.") but thought he was going crazy because he kept seeing her and hearing her voice (I believe he kept calling her out of hope that she would be alive even if he didn't fully believe it because he was going through survivor's guilt much like Nancy with Barb and was having a really hard time processing it, because he was the one who weaponized her, quote, "She's a weapon! Do you seriously want to fight the Demogorgon with your wrist rocket? That's like R2D2 going to fight Darth Vader! We're no use to Will if we're dead", and then when he later tried to stop her from fighting the Demogorgon like he had originally wanted after growing closer with her, she wouldn't let him and sacrificed herself). So, accepting that Will isn't dead after hearing his voice only once vs. assumption El is dead no matter what he sees or hears until everyone else sees her, too. Again, a certain level of giving up that just isn't present with Will. I thought it was interesting how he reacted to El being bullied vs. Will being bullied when he wasn't even present, too. With El, he just tells the DJ to turn the music off and only tries to get to her at the last minute after the damage has already been done, but gets lost in the crowd while she runs off and hides to cry. But with Will, he stood up to Troy in front of the whole gymnasium and pushed him down in front of them, and Will wasn't even there to witness it. So it's not like he's afraid to take a stand for the people he loves.. or.. person he loves, it seems. So the fact he doesn't rush onto the rink immediately for El is interesting. The end of season 3 also kind of foreshadowed Mike feeling he's losing Will with the voiceover of Hopper's letter reading "but lately, I've been feeling.. distant from you, like you're pulling away from me or something" as Mike is watching the cars and moving truck leaving, and then he sadly gazes back at the Byers house before riding away for the last time on his bike. We could also infer then that it was Will he was most upset about losing since it's paralleled to the couple times in season 2 where he watches with concern and sadness as Will leaves school with his mom, the first time for a check-up at the lab in episode 1 and the second time after his possession on the field in episode 4. And this prediction/theory that he felt he was losing Will was confirmed in season 4 when Mike tells him, "maybe I feel like I.. lost you or something" and tells Will that Hawkins isn't the same without him. For Mike.. it was and has always been Will that he's most afraid of losing. And it's Will that he'll give his all for.

i’m a survivor too, and i found that certain scenes/stuff will said just really struck me as ‘csa-survivor’-like? i felt a bit uncomfortable about headcanoning it happening to someone else, especially for a fandom as wild as this one, but your metas have really been a comfort to me because they’ve been able to pick out and explain things that i couldn’t necessarily find the words for myself.
and yeah, i would love to have a character like me that is powerful and who finds love and who gets a happy ending. the people who call the theory disgusting always kinda hit wrong with me because although csa is a difficult subject, we shouldn’t be ashamed about sharing it. they sound like they’re trying to say that it’s a bad topic to talk about and implying that it can’t happen to kids, which uhhhhh-
(i’m sure that’s not what they mean, precisely, but it’s still what they sound like, and i wish that they would stop implying that we can’t exist, especially in popular media. we do, and i’m not gonna pretend we don’t, and if they feel uncomfortable with the topic they can just use the block button. we deserve to have some well written representation just as much as anyone else. also, i really really hope that will gets a happy ending.)
anywayyyy i love your theories and i can see your post in the tag so i think you’re fine?? have a good day ❤️❤️❤️
SORRY, this ask took so long to respond to. It always warms my heart to hear other survivors speak and say they found comfort in my theory.
Yes, I think I and a lot of c*a/r*pe victims (subconscious or otherwise) were triggered by some of the symbolism/visuals in s1-3. And s3 made it hard for most of us to ignore the past imagery- since s3 wasn’t as subtle.
I get why people have reservations about the theory. But the debates to the contrary are usually just plain offensive. Or people trying to be respectful but being the opposite. There’s the obvious bad-apples . I got many anons after part 1 of my DID theory saying it “ruined/tainted byler”, and “if that happened to Will i’ll stop shipping byler” , or that it  “ruins the best gay character” ,  and to “remove the post immediately”. And this was when I was open about being a gay c*a victim. I obviously blocked them. Many survivors don’t come forward because they’re afraid people will see them as “tainted”, “ruined”, “ just their trauma”, or blame them for what happened. So yeah, it pisses me off when people say similar stuff about Will (and thus other c*a victims). Not even diving into the messed up psychology about byler/mileven shippers (knowing i was a lesbian c*a victim) but purposely spreading bs rumors about me being a p*do that was into Will/Noah-all because of the theory. -_-
Then there’s the people who try to be “respectful” but literally do the opposite.
I’ve heard numerous times it’s somehow “less offensive” to just use r*pe imagery to make monsters scary. Rather than have  the monsters have that imagery cause Will created the monsters from his memory/imagination-and st is a story of Will healing from that trauma. SORRY- I disagree. Using the worst experiences of peoples’ lives (and triggering their trauma) for no real purpose- except to make their monsters scarier to the normal/general audience who haven’t gone through it so won’t be triggered like us - is MORE OFFENSIVE to victims! NOT LESS! At least to me.
Then there’s the people who say “c*a should never be talked about (in stories).” Which I disagree with. V*ctims have already been told by ab*ser’s  and enablers of the ab*ser- to never talk about what happened to us  . So it rubs A LOT of us the wrong way when people say this.  Because (subconscious or not) you remind some of us of the people who used to hurt/silence us. People say this -simply for their convenience (like ab*sers) and cause deep down they’re uncomfortable with our existence and equate the despicable act to us the innocent v*ctim ...or just want to deny the horrible reality of the situation (like many enablers who deny the truth and hurt us because they don’t want to accept reality) . And 1) It brings us back to a time where they told us to NEVER talk about it- and makes us feel like we did something wrong when we didn’t! 2) Every psych professional says with-holding/keeping the ab*se a secret is detrimental to our mental health.
Plus, there’s a HUGE difference between sugarcoating/minimizing trauma or WORSE glamorizing, condoning, or romanticizing C*A in stories (ex: pretty little liars) VS showing how the action is wrong, causes trauma, but showing recovery and happiness is still possible for v*ctims.  if the story shows how accurately traumatizing it is (instead of minimizing/glamorizing it)- it’s incredibly rare for that character to get a happy ending. Having a story about recovering from that type of trauma and finding happiness despite such hardships would be amazing for US survivors! We rarely get stories with a happy ending-  it’s more harmful to us survivors to never see ourselves get happy endings in tv/film/books. How can some survivors (in a dark place) think there’s a light at the end of the tunnel- if it’s never shown? Also if Will has DID too- it’s good mental health rep, along with queer rep (and survivor’s rep.) All 3 groups rarely are treated well or get happy endings in media. A lot of people may feel more heard, seen, and a bit more hopeful for the future - If Will (and other characters) get a happy ending.
And even though st has many themes- like say homophobia. To try and hand-wave all the disturbing  r*pe imagery away  as ‘Will is just gay so the monsters are like that”. IS SOOOOOO offensive. Trigger warning for examples. I’m sorry what part of Max saying when Billy had c*nsensual s*x it’s “good screams” but when possessed by the mf he causes Heather to do “bad screams” read as gay???! Having the possessed ch*ke/dr*g people before throwing them in trunks (like it’s implied Lonnie did to Will -since Jonathan checked Lonnie’s trunk for Will in s1)?Tying their arms and legs up/ g*ging  them and  getting on top of them and saying “stay VERY still it’ll all be over soon”-before a monster shoves it’s tentacle into someone’s mouth and inserts a goo - just gay??? Similar to the sentient vine/shadow monster forcing itself down Will’s throat. Let alone Will saying things like “he made me do it”, “i felt it everywhere”, or being tied to a bed and screaming “help! stop! it hurts! let me go!” While Jonathan is the only one who’s visibly triggered by this and has to literally turn away and hug someone . Or barb, billy, and El spiting up a white liquid from their mouth (similar to will spitting up a slug and lying to his mother about it ).El/billy touching a suspicious looking slime with their hand and looking at the substance confused . El drawing Papa with 3 legs (the middle one being shorter) ,  trying to undress in front of the boys , and Benny saying “I think she’s been ab*sed or something”.The theme of ab*sive dads- brenner , Lonnie, and Neil . Even when the demogorgan (called in d&d the “deep father”/ in the show “a man without a face”) attacked Barb it’s chopped up with scenes of Nancy having c*nsensual sex (the monsters are doing the opposite symbolically). There’s way more examples but NO- to try and hand wave /equate ALL OF THIS to just “gay imagery” or an “a*ds metaphor” is WAY more problematic. And just offensive (specifically to gay people) than just admitting what it may actually represent. R*pe imagery and gay imagery is NOT THE SAME THING!
Also ST has never been a kid show- maybe rewatch the show and see the rating of tv-14 . Goodness sake- s1 has a st*ged su*icde, k*dnappings, m*rder, discussions of physics, h*mophobia, and s*x (with stancy in s1 & jancy in s2-s3). S2/3 discuss at their finalies recovering from tra*ma . S2 had gra*ic de*ths,  a man causing a women br*in damage/ and faking her m*scarriage, and a gang of vigalantes k*lling criminals. s3 had critiques on capitalism /media/s*xism, many d*eaths, and questionable imagery like the prior seasons. The Duffers constantly reference  movies & events from the 80s (capitalizing on 80s nostalgia /subverting 80s motifs that middle age people  from that time remember)! Those people were their intended age demographic . Most 80s centric refs go over most kids’ heads (heck a lot went over my head too since I wasn’t alive in the 80s XD).The Duffers even said in the book “worlds turned upsidedown”  “it’s not a kid’s show despite having kids”. And maybe it’s a coincidence but when Lucas in s3 hands Will the “devil’s baby” firework (a hint about Lonnie) he says “18 and over only.” Which idk is a weird/random af line unless it’s foreshadowing that the show will get darker about various themes- and maybe even change ratings.
I get people wishing nothing bad ever happened to Will or Jonathan. And being apprehensive and not trusting the Duffers to do such a story justice (cause it’s difficult to do). But personally i trust them to do so tastefully with tact and not be exp*itative, (overly gr*fic) or offensive to v*ctims. You can disagree and think the show is about something else (or not trust the Duffers)- but it’d be great if people could stop using these other messed up talking points. While trying to appear ‘(fake) woke’ and like they care for victims- cause we see through it that you really don’t.
Have a lovely day anon ❤️ ❤️ ❤️

Riverdale S5 Ep11 Thoughts *Spoilers*
thoughts under cut to keep tag from being cluttered :)
- Oh yeah I forgot that Chad was blackmailing Veronica about the dirty dealings in her company even though it’s not her at all (unless it’s just been so long and I’ve forgotten but she’s my baby and I feel like I would’ve remembered but-
- Hiram and this dumb prison is one of the worst things for this show it’s a constant plot of people escaping and it’s so annoying like sure Hiram owns it and he was in the jail but no one has, like, taken him back to jail…??? Hiram is a fucking disease smh
- “back to remote learning” why didn’t you just stay that way though… like even right now in covid schools are opening back up and kids are complaining because it’s still not safe so like… just… go back to it??? I’m so not built for this world fasdhfkahf
- Veronica and Smithers 🥺🥺💞💞
- the way Veronica hugs Archie is so cute bc she’s so tiny but like she always gives her all and Archie is just 😐 never giving anything ahjfsdfsh it’s quite sad you can tell how done KJ is with Varchie lol
- “I really hate that I’m dragging you through this.” … what about constantly pulling him into your mob boss father mess that the writers refuse to allow you to escape from?
- “until you and Chad are officially done, I think we should keep our distance.” Varchie bones!!! you just KNOW that Archie has been looking forward to this because that man is whole heartedly in love with Betty and has been since forever and that while Chad prolongs the divorce papers, Archie will not be waiting for Veronica considering he doesn’t want her. Varchie = bones we love to see it!
- now who tf would join Penelope Blossom’s ministry… no one, realistically.
- can Cheryl stop being given the craziest and usually most boring plots ever please...
- Not someone holding a gun to Tabitha literally don’t hurt Riverdale’s best girl weirdo
- these bitches really haven’t aged huh…. poor Veronica though being robbed but like they stole some watches or something and the opal like that’s all you take..?? okay-
- Fangs 💞💞💞💞💞 also rip to him having to work with his ex tho
- STOP HAVING ARCHIE GO TO HIRAM WE’RE TIRED
- You know considering the whole reason why Hiram is still here as the villain and ruining Veronica’s life/growth to keep her in his plots al because Mark is a big soap opera celeb and apparently brings in money, you’d assume they would give him GOOD shit instead of everything he’s gotten. If they hadn’t of hired Mark can you imagine how much better off the show would be if they didn’t have to keep him around bc of his status????? God why-
- Reggie’s always there for Veronica muah…. oh fuck me I guess fjasjkdf
- “I work for one Lodge and it’s not you.” lmao okay??? you acting like that’s a flex, and that you’re working for the better Lodge who literally left you to die after the Serpents thought you shot Fangs so-
- MARTY BEING WHY REGGIE IS WORKING FOR HIRAM…….. YOUR DAD IS ABUSIVE LET HIM HANDLE HIS OWN DEBT??? God both Veronica and Reggie are always fucked over when it comes to their parents huh
- don’t you just love when they make characters act ooc for a plot ahhhhhh it’s totally fun to watch and totally not frustratingly annoying
- “FOR OLD TIMES SAKE.” 💞💞💞 we love Veggie even though they made Veronica act ooc and hurt him back then and they weren’t given an actual chance.
- “don’t be such a Betty” now why is Betty so surprised she only ever had fun when she was with Archie, when she’s with Jughead all she did was do what she wanted and order him around so likeefjhakdfh
- “he shouldn’t really be my problem anymore.” BUGHEAD BONES YASSSSS
- I know it was just a sound they used but like that squish sound when Darla kicked Tom’s face… did she like smash his face in damn what is this The Walking Dead?
- see the problem with them randomly bringing characters/parents in when they need them is that they’re never around so like no one really cares… like they could have utilized the parents so much (and Skeet and Marisol never would have left) and it would have been so much better than random appearances that make them look incompetent and awful parents because they’re never there during all the other times their kids need them. but we have to see the two toxic parents that won’t go away constantly??? literally what the fuck
- Betty calling Jughead’s writing cringey wbk she’s never liked his writing she was just stroking his ego bc she was his gf and had to be supportive lmaoo
- why are these 60+ year old men beating up Jughead like for why???
- so they just forgot that Tom was checking in on the convict huh gotta love dumbing down characters for plot!
- Fangs with his switchblade muah
- jealous Tabitha muahhh over a password
- “wait THE BETTY?"
- Cheryl looks so good
- Find meaning in his death… girl didn’t you not care that your husband killed your son over the illegal maple stuff I forgot the plot but it was something illegal and dumb
- “drain the vein” …...
- Reggie helping muah
- Why is Archie acting like an ass? like sure he doesn’t know that Chad is abusive and toxic but c’mon fucker you cheated on her and never apologized and you don’t even wanna be with her in the first place so why are you acting like you’re personally hurt sit down
- God Archie really hates Veronica huh… I don’t even blame him considering the shit she’s brought him into time and time again.
- Jughead was kicked like maybe five times yet he was fine falling out of a two story window and the serpent imitation but now he needs antibiotics..? plot convenience!
- literally don’t remember anything about Doc tbh or him talking to Donna and Bret like—
- ever since Negan people are obsessed with bats with barbed wire.
- also! yes please kill Hiram <3 I know they end up saving him bc of the opal but c'mon
- they searched basically nothing for five seconds wow such great detective work you guys!
- we know you just want his manuscript Jessica
- Cheryl with her rainbow skirt how cute!
- “daddykins” girl you’re like 25
- Veronica acting like she cares about Hiram fjsadhkfhas these guys thinking that they’d kill Hiram even though they need him lol
- bad bitch Ronnie we love her even though she’s gonna have to save her father to save others and get her opal </3
- not Veronica calling Archie first and not Kevin considering Kevin’s dad is there…. this is the pandering va fan service bs we have bc it makes no sense and it’s so forced
- Fangs knowing Archie rides with tools in his truck mmhm that’s a little sus idk how but archiefangs agenda coming through!
- no one would actually believe that Jessica ashkjdfsj and they take this bait…??? you gotta be joking lmao
- Jug got to help doc this time 🥺😭
- …. tell me why when he said boyfriend I immediately thought of Reggie I hate myself for wishing fahsdjkfsafj
- okay as cheesy and corny and awful the fight scene is since they posted a clip of it, them working together is so refreshing and nice we love leader!Veronica bc she’s so good at it. but the show only cares for Betty which is funny since she’s an awful detective fbahsdjfj
- my god enough with Jason’s body!!!!!!!!! you burned his body please let him stay dead let his body rest
- okay but the back and forth from Betty and Jessica is so good like I wish we could get that kind of rivalry drama type stuff all the time. too bad they refuse to let Veronica act like a normal person and get angry at being cheated on and such :/ when will Veronica slap the fuck out of Betty
- he’s not a blameless victim but Betty take responsibility for how awful a person you are PLEASE
- THE VOICEMAILLLLLLL Jughead only speaks the truth! it’s weird that he only realized what we all knew about Betty after but whatever, finally he gets upset like damn. also jeronica crumb he’s the only one to ever include Veronica smh ALSO Cole acted the fuck outta this voice mail muah
- the way Betty just sits there uncaring… she really is a freak huh god when will someone punch her in the face and take her ego down a million notches she’s so annoying
- “that’s darkness.” …?? what?
- the way bh’s relationship parallels jughead’s with Jessica though. the unhealthy habits, the bad energy, etc. except Jessica left it and Betty didn’t and it turned Betty into whatever the fuck this is. I miss s1 Betty :/
- so when will they sue Jessica for drugging them? mmhm probably never
- poor Tabitha being the only one who cares about jughead tho
- oh no I forgot there was a random musical number…
- you’re gonna have Betty and Tabitha act like THAT and not put them together so rude
- when will Cheryl be free from her mom. is was like turned on by abuse or something sigh why do the toxic (and most boring!) parents get plots and screen time and everyone else doesn’t...
- Veronica would be able to do Moree than pepper spray but whatever only Betty is allowed be “badass"
- fangs being fangs ugh so sexy my babyyyyy
- Trevor Stines is so attractive it’s a shame they only bring him back for five seconds to traumatize Cheryl over and over again though </3
- wow varchie in a pop’s booth what season is this again??
- god it’s so upsetting how amazing varchie would have been as just friends…
- the way he smiled at Veronica was so contradicting to the blank, “please don’t” expression when she was telling him she was gonna get divorced as fast as possible. why can’t he just admit he doesn’t want to be with her!!!!!! my god they’ve put off barchie long enough just let them be together so their characters can finally act in character and stop being so awful and annoying
- “this cause” what cause you fucking weirdo
- not Hiram threatening the mayor he could literally be your downfall if we had good writers fjasdkjfasf
- jughead how would you have killed him with a small wooden basket
- I like doc so much but I know we’ll never see him again until we randomly need him seasons from noow
- Betty wasn’t hit by the drugs until after the message though… how would she not remember? it didn’t seem to be doing anything to Betty until the bunker
- hopefully since they’re friends now Tabitha can make Betty act like a decent human being <3
- the way Tabitha looked at Betty please stop doing this to me...
- maybe we can finish that dance!!!!!!!!!!!!!! jabitha rising bughead dying we love to see it!
wow that episode felt like it was two hours long but thankfully I finally finished it… don’t have many actual thoughts but anyways hope you enjoyed my live blog of my thoughts!

12 days of Christmas fics, day 4 - noel nancy
Tumblr media
pairing: Stancy
summary: Steve and Nancy spend their first Christmas together after the events of S1.
word count: 1.5k
warnings: none <3
a/n: this isn’t really like a STANCY stancy fic it’s more of a character study into Steve and his relationship w Christmas, w Nancy, and with Barb after S1. so even if u hate this ship u can still read <3 xox hope u enjoy!
Tumblr media
Steve wasn’t used to second chances. His parents gave up on him the first time he snuck out to try cigarettes with Tommy; his teachers gave up on him at the first signs of difficulty; his other girlfriends gave up on him the first time he let down his cool exterior. Because, really, Steve was a kid. As much as he felt like a grown up, he wasn’t. He was a kid who handled his life poorly, and if it wasn’t for Nancy Wheeler, he never would have handled it well.
So when Nancy gave him a second chance, a month after… Everything, he was quick to jump on it and be on his very best behavior. Jonathan Byers’ fist knocked some sense into him, too, and that’s precisely why Steve went to the store and bought the best camera that the salesman had. He owed them both his life - like, literally, and they probably owed him theirs, but he wouldn’t take it. He just wanted them happy and safe and peaceful for Christmas.
“Steve.” Nancy looked bewildered when Steve showed her the camera, unwrapped, as he didn’t really know how to wrap anything. “He’ll love it.” Her hand touched his and it was warm, and Steve swore he felt the heat creep up his entire arm. He never wanted her to let go. Not again.
“‘s whatever,” he said, a bit bashfully, but his smile was growing. “I owe him at least this much.”
“You’re sweet,” Nancy said, leaning forward and kissing his cheek softly, and Steve melted into her eagerly. He didn’t think he really deserved to be called sweet, not yet, but he still takes her hand and squeezes it.
“Help me wrap it?” he asked.
“You don’t know how?”
“I can’t be good at everything,” he teased, and she hit his chest gently with her free hand before standing.
“I’ll be right back.” Nancy knew she had to promise this. She could see that fear and apprehension and remorse in his eyes every time she went to step away, like she wouldn’t be back.
And she almost wasn’t.
Steve pressed a kiss to her palm before letting her run downstairs to grab the paper. When her frame left the doorway, he let his eyes roam around her room, something he’d done before, but not since Everything. He sees pictures of Nance when she was younger, in a ballerina costume. On a school field trip to the zoo. Pictures of Ted holding her when she was just as big as Holly was then. Her and Mike dressed up like - well, Steve doesn’t know what they’re dressed up as, but they’re having fun.
And then he sees the pictures of Barb and Nance. How happy they were. Their faces smushed together in a photobooth, at each other’s birthday parties - the room was littered with Barb and little reminders of her. Steve checked on Nancy every chance he had, even in that month where they’d only stolen looks at each other. He said he was sorry probably a dozen times, each more tearful than the last, because what Nancy didn’t understand was that Steve couldn’t even look at his pool without feeling like he was going to vomit. He couldn’t lay in his bed at night and sleep. He thought about Barb, about how she cut her hand when they tried to make her do something stupid, about how scared and alone and sad she must have been. How he stole Nancy from her.
Barb Holland probably hated him more in death than she did in life.
It wasn’t supposed to be a competition, Steve promised her. He had a lot of talks with her at night. I just didn’t want to share the glory that is Nancy Wheeler. I’m sure you understand.
“Found some.” Nancy’s voice broke Steve from his melancholy staring, and he quickly blinked some tears out of his eyes. She sat at her desk with the camera and Steve watched her wrap the box, watched her little fingers fold and tape the paper. “He’ll be here to pick up Will later.”
Steve cleared his throat. “Will you give it to him?”
Nancy looked at him with furrowed brows. “Me?”
“I just….” Steve paused. “I don’t want him to think he… like, owes me something. Or that I’m trying to buy his forgiveness.”
“He won’t,” Nancy promised, but Steve shook his head.
“Please? Just say it’s from you.”
Nancy frowned and stood, walking to Steve at the end of her bed. She cupped his face and kissed his lips, softly, before pulling back. Steve smirked, gently grabbing her wrists in his hands. “Guess I should be selfless more often, huh?”
“You are selfless,” Nancy said, staring into his eyes. Steve loved it when Nancy looked at him like that. “And you’re brave.”
But Steve didn’t feel like it.
===
To be honest, Steve never had a great Christmas. Sometimes his cousins and extended family would stop by for Christmas, and that could be fun. But his aunts and uncles didn’t like their kids hanging out with Steve, because he was a “bad influence,” which just meant sometimes Steve would get too carried away during snowball fights and, yeah, he hit Brent in the face with one but it’s not like he lost an eye or anything. Christmas with his mom and dad was impersonal. He would get new things that he didn’t really like - as in, ten new polos and five new khakis, all from expensive retailers - and he would thank them before going up to his room until dinner. Christmas dinner was the worst - it was silent save for forks scraping and mouths chewing, and Steve was pretty sure that when he goes to hell he will be perpetually sitting at the dinner table on December 25th.
But Christmas with Nancy was different.
It wasn’t that Steve didn’t like talking to Ted about sports, or telling Karen about his mom’s new business ventures, or acting like an asshole to Mike just to get a ruse from him, or playing with Holly. He loved it. But that wasn’t the bestpart. The best part was that Nancy, in her pretty yellow sweater, was glued to his side, and was smiling, and was squeezing his hand, and was rolling her eyes and laughing at him. It wasn’t even that much, but it was the closest to an actual Christmas that Steve had ever had. Closest to Christmas that Steve had ever felt. He could even stand Ted’s after-dinner snoring as he held Nancy on the couch, absent-mindedly watching a movie. He was more concerned with her warm body pressed against his.
A month was a long time without Nancy Wheeler.
The front door opened. Karen cried out, “Jonathan!”, and Steve looked to Nancy anxiously. As Jonathan slipped downstairs, Nancy snuck up to her room, leaving Steve alone with a snoring Ted.
Steve was used to being alone, now. Or, well, he should have been. A month without talking to Carol and Tommy was like a well-needed detox without the withdrawals. Still, he missed them - but only sometimes. The thoughts were usually quickly stifled when Steve remembers how Tommy made him pay for a can of coke and some Advil after getting his shit rocked. Some friends. And while Nancy was (thankfully) back in his life, he still felt alone sometimes. Which scared him. He hadn’t felt this alone in a long time, always forcing himself to socialize to avoid being in an empty and cold house. Nancy meant more to him then he knew - not only was he thankful to have her back and be given another chance, but she also got him out of that house.
Nancy, Jonathan, and Will met at the bottom of the steps. Steve couldn’t really see, but he could kind of hear the exchange. His heart hammered in his chest - what if he didn’t like it? What if it was a shitty camera? What if Jonathan finds out he was the one that got it for him? But Nancy came back with an absent-minded grin and Steve smiled wide, relief flowing through him just at the sight of her. She sat beside him and he wrapped an arm around her, pulling her in close. He looked down at her in pure adoration - Nancy Wheeler was the most beautiful, intelligent, thoughtful, and badass person he’d ever met, and she was, somehow, his.
“Did you give it to him?”
Nancy looked up at him and nodded, still smiling a bit. “Yeah.”
Steve rubbed her arm and looked up at the television, suddenly overwhelmed with something. Something good and all consuming and wholesome. He hadn’t felt this good… ever. It was like something was set free in his chest, something that had never quite yet been released before. He looked back down at Nancy, her eyes focused on the television, her body pressed up against his.
He wants to say it. I love you. It’s on the tip of his tongue.
Instead, he presses a kiss to her hair. “Merry Christmas.”
Nancy looked up at him and smiled softly. “Merry Christmas.”
Beside them, Ted snored.

DARK : S1 - EP2 [ LÜGEN | LIES ]
NOTE: I’m only pouring my thoughts into this post. I’m taking notes every time I watch Dark since I heard the story-line is complicated. Also, my memories suck. It’s not spoiler-free, of course. So, only read if you have seen this episode.
The episode starts with a notice, 9 HOURS AFTER MIKKEL’S DISAPPEARANCE. From afar, the man in a raincoat overlooks a group of police looking for Mikkel in the forest. He had a suitcase with him too. Then, he looked at the ground and picked up a dead bird. When the camera showed his face, I tried to make it out, wondering if he's one of the characters already introduced to us in the previous episode. I don't think he is.
JONAS KAHNWALD POV
Jonas wakes up from his sleep and hallucinates a black liquid flowing down from his ear. When he saw his dead father behind him through the mirror, he snapped awake, ending the dream.
Jonas goes to his father's studio as if to investigate. Then, he sits down on the floor when he discovered a wall covered in thick paint.
Jonas lies on the floor in his father’s studio. Then he sits up and looks around for a clue or something out of place. He finds a loose board in the ceiling, and inside that, a large, handmade, detailed map of the Winden area. Jonas spreads it out on the floor and begins looking for recognizable landmarks.
Jonas is in his room and had brought the map to examine it there. He notices a note which says, “Where is the Crossing?”
The power in their house is still out at. Jonas wonders if Mikkel will be found. He asks Hannah if she misses Michael, and if she thinks he had secrets he kept from them. Hannah replies she misses the idea of Michael more than the reality. She’s also not sure if she ever knew who he really was. She then wonders if we ever know who people really are. When Jonas asks if she loved Michael, the power comes back on. She smiles but doesn’t answer.
CHARLOTTE DOPPLER POV
Charlotte is in the autopsy room, examining the child's body. The coroner reported the victim is male, between 10 and 12. The wounds around the eyes are strange as if they have melted, no sexual abuse and no foreign DNA on him. Red soil was found all over his clothes, which contradicts the place they found him. Meaning, someone had moved him from somewhere. His ear canal destroyed, the inner drums are damaged, and both eardrums have burst. Charlotte asked if it's because of extreme sound. The coroner replied it could either be caused by pressure or by intense rotation, such as in a centrifuge. She then explained what otoconia is.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
I've seen enough movies about time-travel. If I remember, literally every time someone tries to use a time-travelling machine, it would start rotating at high speed, and everything becomes blurry as heck. Now, this got me thinking. The burn marks on his eyes eerily resembled the metal piece used on Erik when he was placed on the torture chair. Could the marks be from that? So, it probably emits heat. But what about his ruptured eardrums? If it's from a centrifuge, I doubt it. The torture chair doesn’t seem to be able to spin. Pressure? Probably. From extreme sound? Most likely, considering that there’s always a loud noise every time the camera points at the cave. Also, when the kids were near the cave in the last episode, their flashlights started flickering, which is probably caused by radiation.
Charlotte declared the dead boy is neither Erik nor Mikkel. Other than pointing out what the coroner has said previously, she also mentioned someone had dressed the kid in 80's clothing, including the shoes and the Walkman. A one-pfennig coin from 1986 was found around his neck on a red cord. The cassette contains a recording; which played the same song heard in the place where Erik is held in. Then, she decided not to make the discovery of the boy's body public, since the town's already got a handful with Erik and Mikkel.
Let me pause for a sec. I realised Tronte earlier said that he had got out to get cords. Hmm ... fishy.
The cave becomes active again, causing the lights all over the town to flicker and animals, specifically birds, drop dead. Charlotte steps out of the police station only to find hundreds of dead birds on the pavement.
Tumblr media
ULRICH NIELSEN POV
Ulrich enters the cave to find Mikkel, but the farther he goes, he found a metallic door with a hazard sign on it. Thinking Mikkel might have gone behind the door, Ulrich tries to push it open. However, the door remained locked. I suspect that this door leads to the nuclear power plant.
Ulrich burst during Charlotte's meeting, saying to her he had found a door in the cave. Speaking in private, Ulrich tells her he found a door that leads to the nuclear power plant. He asks for a search warrant in case Mikkel had somehow accessed the grounds through the door. Charlotte said the place is a high-security area and Ulrich can not just enter. Ulrich assumed Mikkel climbed the fence, where Charlotte's unconvinced because they have checked it. The fences are barbed-wire, also, it had remained undamaged. Ulrich realises Charlotte was right, that all three boys' cases are connected. He's sure that it has something to do the power plant. Mads disappeared from the same area as Mikkel. Charlotte will try to get the search warrant.
Ulrich received a phone call from Charlotte saying that Aleksander has blocked the search warrant. A minute later, Hannah called but Ulrich blocked her call.
Ulrich arrived at the gates of the power plant and Aleksander approaches to meet him. He begs Aleksander to open the gates. But Aleksander remained blank-faced, unmoved by Ulrich's desperation. He tells Ulrich that the nuclear power plant is high-security area and he can't just let anyone enter, while also claiming his men searched the area every day and if Mikkel had been there, they would've found him. Ulrich snapped into a fit of rage, shouted at Aleksander for not letting him search for his own son. He vows to come back with a warrant but Aleksander just continued to watch Ulrich with flat eyes. Then, he tells Ulrich he's sorry he can't help and walks away.
Ulrich is surprised by Hannah's presence at the police station. She wanted to see him. He quickly brought her to the records room, probably so no one would know of their affair. Hannah tries to console Ulrich then she tries to initiate sex. Ulrich stops her and tells her he’ll call her. But I think Hannah doubts Ulrich will call her. She probably understands and can't blame him for wanting to focus on his family, especially with his son missing. I feel like Hannah's going to do something later on that will finally tick Ulrich off.
Ulrich looks over the evidence found with the boy’s body. He goes to the computer and investigated tire tracks near the scene belong to a van. He recalls Jürgen drives a van, also works at the power plant and was present the night, Erik, his own son, disappeared.
Then, he goes to ask one of the officers if she had questioned Jürgen, to which she replies yes. But she hasn't questioned Jürgen regarding whether he was at the power plant last night, in other words, he hasn't been questioned about Mikkel's disappearance yet.
Ulrich drives out to Jürgen’s house and searched the buildings around. Jürgen lives in a trailer and brought a shotgun with him after realising someone was in his area. Inside what seemed to be a barn, Ulrich discovers a trap door with a chain leading down into the hole underneath. Ulrich pulls the chain up, discovering a sack at the bottom. But before he is about to open it, Jürgen found him and tried to stop him. But Ulrich keeps going.
It was filled with a drug cache. Ulrich asked if it's his, to which Jürgen confessed that it's his and Erik's and that they were in business together. Ulrich forgets the drugs and instead asks Jürgen if he was at the power plant when Mikkel disappeared. Jürgen said he wasn't there and couldn't offer any other useful clues. Disappointed, Ulrich leaves. He tells Jürgen that also doesn't know where Erik is.
Ulrich finds Katharina in Mikkel's room when he returned home. His face looked exhausted and defeated. Katharina made him promise that no matter what happens, Ulrich will tell her the truth about what's happening with Mikkel and the case. It's clear here that Katharina doesn't want him to lie just to protect her. Then, she hugs him. As a mother, I know it's tough for her, but in all honesty, she also deserves the right to know.
TRONTE NIELSEN POV
When Jana was in a phone call, Tronte was about to wash his clothes. The camera shows one of his sweater's sleeves covered in what seemed to be dry blood. Or could it be red soil? From where did he get it? How did it come to be covered in blood or soil?
Jana said she couldn't get hold of Ulrich and is worried. Tronte replied that they have search parties organised while wearing a jacket, looking ready to leave the house. She asked where he was last night, to which Tronte answered that he couldn't sleep and went to the garden to get the bushes ready for winter. Jana keeps pushing her suspicions on him by saying that his car wasn't present. Tronte said they ran out of cord and had to go to the gas station. From the way he deals with Jana, I have a feeling Tronte is kind of distant from her and seemingly doesn’t want to deal with her.
Late at night, Tronte gets out of bed again to go somewhere unknown. Jana is awake but stays still so he wouldn't know.
ALEKSANDER TIEDEMANN POV
In the power plant, Aleksander Tiedemann tells Jürgen that the police will be looking around the power plant sometime tonight. He said "we need to get rid of them tonight," but somehow seemed to be ordering Jürgen to do the job instead. Jürgen tells him someone else should do it instead, afraid that the police will be suspicious of him because of his missing son situation. Aleksander asked if he's trying to blackmail him and Jürgen answered no. However, Aleksander continued to make a veiled threat so Jürgen would do the job.
On the other side of the woods, under cover of darkness, Aleksander supervises heavy machinery being loaded into trucks with whatever it is the power plant needs to hide. This is probably happening at the same time Rain Coat Man No.2 was dragging Erik's body.
BARTOSZ TIEDEMANN POV
Bartosz is Aleksander and Regina Tiedemann's son as shown in a family portrait. Bartosz tries to get a hold of Martha's phone but fails.
At night, Bartosz examines Erik's bag of drugs. He finds a cellphone inside and it's locked with a password. He tried to guess but failed.
RAINCOAT MAN NO. 1 POV
So it turns out, this episode has two hooded man. I’m just going to call them Raincoat Man from now on until they’re properly introduced.
Raincoat Man No.1 went to Winden Hotel and asked Regina for a room. I'm curious as to who he is. Like, I think he could be Mads? I know I said in the previous recap that the dead child found in the woods could be Mads, but, what if it isn't him? What if he's still alive?
Also, the soundtrack as he walked in was just, ear-piercing. I legit got chills.
In the hotel. he stayed in room 8. While he's taking a shower, the camera shows how messy the room is, clattered with pieces of paper lying on the floor. Those papers are filled with sketches. The man stepped out from the bathroom, and finally, I get a clear view of him. Yep, don't know who this guy is. Also, his body had scars as if he was tortured before. There was also a red scar on his neck as if he's been garroted.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
On the walls, he has papers and diagrams, probably his the results of his scientific research and articles regarding Mikkel's disappearance. The diagram had one thing in common. Circles. On the table, he has a book with the title, 'A Journey Through Time' by H. G. Tannhaus and a key on a string. Then, he unpacked his suitcase and got out an intricate-looking machine with a lot of gears. What is this machine? Is it a time-travelling machine?
Raincoat Man No.1 pins up more papers on the wall, and one of them is an article about Mikkel, with the headline, where is Mikkel. He crosses out the "where" and changes the headline to "when" is Mikkel? Seems like Raincoat Man No.1 knows Mikkel time-travelled somehow.
MIKKEL NIELSEN POV
My boy, he’s alive. Thank Lord.
Finally, Mikkel appears, still alive. He tries to find his way out of the cave. I noticed that he exited from the same cave opening, but something seemed out of place. Since the police are still investigating the cave, there should have been police lines all over. But when Mikkel walked out of the cave, there were none. Also, he kind of noticed something felt different. Mikkel is covered in dirt but still looks the same. Still wearing his Houdini custom and red jacket.
He runs to find his home. Here, I noticed the cars were different. It looked antique for 2019. Mikkel paused to stare at a motorcycle, which I don't think his family had one before.
Tumblr media
When he tries to unlock the door, his key didn't work. Then, a teenage boy opens the door. Mikkel asked who he was, but the teenage boy asked him the same question back. The teenage boy turns out to be his dad, Ulrich. Ulrich somehow acts like a jerk.
Tumblr media
Suddenly, a girl's called for Ulrich, who Ulrich immediately introduce to us as Katharina. When they're about to leave for school, Ulrich pushed him and said that he doesn't live there. Katharina asked who he was, and Ulrich answered he's the Grim Reaper, based on his skeleton suit.
Tumblr media
Mikkel still stood in the front door. Looking down, he saw a newspaper and reads the headline and the date of the paper: Chernobyl - Half a Year Later. Then, he sees the date: November 5, 1986.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
MY THEORY:
Peter Doppler is hiding something. Also, he seemed estranged from his wife and his wife to him too. Possibly an unhappy marriage? They don't seem divorced though.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
When Peter is in his car parked near a nuthouse located somewhere in the woods. His radio is on and is currently talking about Mikkel's disappearance. But Peter was grieving about something like he just did something terrible.
When the camera showed the cave, I was expecting to hear a loud noise. However, another man, wearing a raincoat and a hood, walks out instead. My jaw dropped, because, that's clearly not the same guy in the hotel. So, who is he? So, there's actually two? What the hell?
Tumblr media
I do have my suspicions on Aleksander. He could be up to something dirty. He is the director of the nuclear power plant, which also makes him the richest guy in town. He seemed worried that his time as a director of the nuclear power plant is coming to an end. Usually, people who are involved in leadership positions often have their hands dirty. In our world, many are corrupted. So, it's no surprise if Aleksander would risked doing a dirty job just to keep his position. I don’t know. It’s a hunch.
The note on the map that said: "Where is The Crossing", sounds kind of obvious. It definitely means a doorway. But a doorway to what? Well, since this show is about time-travel, it's probably a doorway that leads to either the past, present or future. Michael, before his death, never seemed to have figured it out. But I bet the mysterious guys in hoodies knows about this.
It was shown again that Erik Obendorf is back on the torture chair, still in the same bright room with childish decor. The TV in the background is playing and the scientist, who is presenting about black holes, has a voice that sounds similar to the one from the opening voice-over in the first episode. I'm not sure if they did a couple of experiments on him, or is it just a one-time thing like if he failed, he dies. I was right that he died at the end to which I'm assuming Raincoat Man No.2 failed his experiment. When the episode showed Raincoat Man No.2 dragging Erik’s dead body through the woods, Erik’s face, especially the eyes, are burned, exactly the same wound as the boy's body. It's kind of sad though because I can't imagine what Erik's parents' reaction is going to be when they find out their son is no longer alive. Also, I have a feeling he's going to find other kids to continue his work. So, he might kidnap one in the future episodes.
Last, MY BOY MIKKEL TRAVELLED BACK IN TIME, How did he do it? He wasn’t in the cave when it happened, he was running away with Jonas. Now, connecting this with Raincoat Man No.1, what he meant by “the crossing“ is definitely a doorway. Perhaps, he’s like Mikkel? Or does he want to go time-travelling somewhere?
Ah man, I think starting from episode 3, the timelines are going to be divided. This is going to be tiresome. It still fun to watch though, haha. This show is mind-boggling.

S1:E4; Chapter Four, The Body - [Pt. 1]
A Will Byers x Reader Series
Refusing to believe Will is dead, Joyce tries to connect with her son. Y/n and the boys give Eleven a makeover. Nancy and Jonathan form an unlikely alliance.
Tumblr media
WARNINGS: this is dangerously unedited. Also language. That's it.... I think?
||3rd Person POV||
The pale light of the dim flashlights danced across the walls as the officers investigated the Byers house.
"This the wall she was talking about, Chief?" Officer Powell pointed his flashlight towards the corner of the room.
•••
"A trooper found something in the, uh... water that's at the quarry." Hopper's solemn voice came out in a distorted echo in Joyce's ears as she tried to process what she was being told.
"Our working theory right now is that Will... crashed his bike, he... made his way over the quarry and, uh... accidently fell in. The earth must have given way. Joyce? Joyce? Do you understand what I'm saying?"
Joyce stared ahead, confusion and pain in her eyes. She gave a weak shake of her head without breaking eye contact with the wall.
"No. Whoever you found... is not my boy. It's not Will."
"Joyce."
"No, you don't understand. I talked to him... a half hour ago. He was..." She sniffled and looked around the room and made her way over to the small cabinet in the wall, opening it up.
"He was here. He was talking with these." She shakily held up the tangled ball of Christmas lights.
"Talking?"
"Uh-huh. One blink for yes, two for no. And... And, uh..." she cast aside the lights and made her way over to the wall of letters and lights.
"And then I made this so he could talk to me. 'Cause he was hiding... from that... that thing."
"The thing that came out of the wall? The thing that chased you." Hopper asked trying to play along.
"Yeah. Yeah." Joyce nodded her head desperately in relief.
"Mom, come on, please. You have to stop this." Jonathan, tears in his eyes stepped towards his shaking mother, pleading to her.
"No, maybe he's... It's after him! He'e in danger. We have to find him! We--" "What exactly was this thing? Was it some kind of animal, you said?"
"Uh, no, it was... It was almost... human, but it wasn't. It... it had these long arms and... it didn't have a face."
As his mother spoke, Jonathan could hold the tears back much longer. Feeling the years begin to flow he stepped away from his mother and the Chief, grief overtaking him. As Hopper spoke, Joyce noticed this and reached a hand out after her fleeing son.
"It didn't have a face?" Hopper continued.
"Joyce?"
Joyce broke down in to sobs as she tried to continue.
"It didn't have a face..."
Hopper gently took her arms in his and guided her to sit down on the coffee table as he softly spoke.
"Joyce, listen to me. Listen to me."
Hopper kneeled down to meet Joyce's watery eyes.
"After Sarah... I saw her, too. And I heard her. I didn't know what was real. And then I figured out that it was in my mind. And I had to pack all that away. Otherwise, I was gonna fall down a hole... that I couldn't get out of."
Joyce softly shook her head. "No, you're... you're talking about grief. This is different."
"I'm just saying that you--"
"No, I know what you're saying, Hop. I swear to you, I know what I saw. And I'm not crazy."
"I'm not saying that you're crazy."
"No... You are. And I understand, but... God, I... I need you to believe me. Please. Please."
"Listen... I think you should go down to the morgue tomorrow and see him for yourself. It'll give you the answers that you need. But tonight..."
"Oh, God..." Joyce whimpered, grief consuming her.
"...I want you to try to get some sleep, if you can."
Joyce blinks as the tears freely fall. She brings her attention to fixate on her lap as she tries to gather herself. Hopper gives Joyce one small reassuring squeeze of the hand before standing up and leaving her to her thoughts.
Hopper leaves the house and gets into his car. A million thoughts running through his head. He begins to start his car, before leaning back into his seat with a heavy sigh.
•••
Jonathan lays on his back, the Clash - his brother's favorite - blasting from his headphones. He hugs his pillow desperately as he cries, mourning his younger brother.

Joyce finds herself outside Jonathan's room, prepared to knock. Something inside her stops her from doing so, and she marches out to the backyard. Determination in her steps she storms into the shed, retrieving the old hatchet and returning inside. She planted herself on her couch, hatchet in hand, waiting to strike.
•••
Karen and Ted Wheeler watch with batted breath as the newscaster reports the body of their son's missing friend.
"Byers' body was found in the water of this quarry by state police this evening. It was discovered by state trooper David O'Bannon, just after dark. The state police are mounting an investigation to determine Byers' cause of death, but an initial inquiry..."
Ted looked to his worried wife. "Should I go down and talk to Michael?"
Holding back her tears she speaks. "Give him time. He'll come to us when he's ready."
Blinking back the tears, Karen grabs her husband's hand for comfort.
••• Mike flips through the drawings Will had given him what seems like ages ago. He found himself unable to tear himself away from one of Will's favorites. It was the party. But they were their dungeons and dragons selves. Will the Wise stood proudly amid his fellow party members. Together they stood triumphant. Mike was pulled from his thoughts at the sound of the feedback from the super-comm whining.
"Can you please stop that?" He asked exasperated at El, who sat in her fort fiddling with the super-comm.
El looks to him, before returning to the com, the crackling of the feedback ringing throughout the room.
"Are you deaf?" Mike snapped.
El was determined to keep tinkering away.
"I thought we were friends, you know? But friends tell each other the truth. And they definitely don't lie to each other. You made me think Will was okay, that he was still out there, but he wasn't. He wasn't! Maybe you thought you were helping, but you weren't. You hurt me. Do you understand? What you did sucks. Lucas was right about you. All along."
El's eyes bore into Mike's as he yelled at her. However she sat there, unfazed before turning back to the com. With the final crackle of the com, the distinctive voice of Will Byers rang over the comm and across the room. He was singing. "So come on and let me know, Should I stay or should I go?"
Mike slowly looked up from the picture and towards El. She was looking to him expectantly, blood dripping from her nose.
"Should I stay or should I go now? Should I stay or should I go now?"
Mike jumped off the couch and ran to El, who slowly handed him the super-comm. Mike stared at it in disbelief as he listened to the unmistakable voice of his best friend.
"If I go there will be trouble. If I stay it will be double."
Mike gladly took the comm. His finger pressed firmly on the speaker button he practically yelled into the speaker. "Will, is that you? It's Mike! Do you copy? Over."
El stares at the boy, wishing she could help him more. Alas, she knew Will would be unable to hear him. The room was met with the dreaded static of the other line as Mike waited for a response that would never come. He tried again.
"Will, are you there? Will!"
Mike saw the look on El's face, knowing she had done her best. He dropped his hand to his side.
"Was that... Was it..."
El gave Mike a bittersweet smile.
"Will."
•••
Early into the morning, Joyce stirred awake. She had fallen asleep on the couch, hatchet in hand. She jumped awake when she thought she heard the sound of her boy.
"Mom..."
Looking around the room, she dismissed the voice as nothing more than a figment of her imagination. She turned to see Will standing before her, his voice coming out in a deep distorted tone.
"Mom!"
Startled, she jumped awake to see Jonathan where Will once stood only seconds before, concern carved into his features.
"Mom! Wake up."
"What... What time is it?"
"It's almost 8:00. We have to go."
Joyce shook her head in confusion, trying to blink away the sleep.
"Go where? Where?"
Jonathan hesitated before speaking.
"To see Will."
•••
There was a soft knock at the door.
"Michael? Hi, honey. How are you feeling?"
Karen poked her head into her son's room. Mike stuttered as he lay under the blankets.
"I, uh... I don't think I can go to school today."
"Oh, that's fine, sweetie. I need to drop off Nance, then I'm gonna check in on Barb's parents. Why don't you grab a book or something and come with me? We can stop by the video store on the way back, pick out whatever you want. Even R-rated."
Karen offered, a small smile on her face.
"I think I just want to stay home today. I mean, if that's okay?" He asked, tentatively.
"Well, are you sure you're gonna be all right here by yourself?"
"I think so."
"Okay." She sighed, patting her son on the arm comfortingly.
"If you need anything, call Dad at work."
Mike softly nodded his head.
"Okay."
"Okay."
Karen leaned forward and kissed her son on the forehead. Before stepping out.
"Bye." Mike softly called after his mom.
She turned to him as she closed the door, a smile on her face.
"Bye, sweetie."
As soon as his mother closed the door, Mike jumped up from under the covers, fully clothed. He reached for the super-comm on his bedside table, and extended the antenna.
"Lucas, do you copy? Lucas, come on, I know you're there! This is urgent. I'm serious."
Mike stood up from his bed, continuing into the com. "I'm not gonna stop until you answer. Lucas. Lucas! Lucas, Lucas, Lucas, Lucas, Lucas... Lucas, Lucas, Lucas, Lucas, Lucas, Lucas, Lucas--"
"Go away, Mike." Lucas had sat up in bed, frustrated as he extended the antenna.
"I'm not in the mood, all right? Over and out."
Before Lucas could close the super-comm antenna, Mike's voice had stopped him.
"No, not "out." I'm not messing around, okay? This is about Will. Over."
Lucas paused, not letting himself get his hopes up.
"What about Will? You mean  about his funeral? Over."
"No, not his funeral. Screw his funeral!" Mike spits.
"What?"
"Just get over here stat. And bring Dustin and [Y/N]. Over and out."
•••
Hopper sits anxiously waiting in the lobby of Roane County Coroner. His growing impatience shows from his endless tapping of his foot, and the large sigh he lets out.
"What's taking so long?" He turns, asking the receptionist to his right.
"Well, everything's been a bit chaotic around here without Gary."
"Without Gary? Where's Gary?"
"Well, I thought you knew. Those men from State, they... they sent Gary home last night."
The cogs in Hopper's brain began turning. Yet another thing in this town that felt off to him.
"So who did the autopsy?"
"Someone from State."
•••
Jonathan and Joyce stood facing the window, gazing into the morgue at the sheet that lay lifeless on the table. The two watched as the man behind the mask pulled the sheet down. Joyce remained still and unfazed, while nausea swept over Jonathan who then turn and fled.
"He has a birth mark on his right arm. Can you show that to me, please?" Joyce asked calmly, refusing to believe that was her son laying lifeless on that table.
•••
Hopper was soon joined by Jonathan, the sat in a brief silence before Hopper tried to break the tension.
"How's your mom doing?"
"I don't know." He whispers.
"How long's this stuff been going on? With the lights and, uh... Will and the thing in the wall?"
Jonathan shook his head, not meeting the Chief's eyes.
"Since the first phone call, I guess. You know, she's had anxiety problems... in the past. But this... I don't know."
Jonathan takes a deep, unsteady breath.
"I'm worried it could be... Ugh, I don't know." Jonathan hangs his head in defeat.
"She'll be okay." He sniffles.
"We'll be okay. My mom... She's tough."
Hopper nods his head, a small smile on his face.
"Yeah, she is. Hey," he reaches out and puts a hand on Jonathan's shoulder. "she is."
Jonathan gives Hopper a smile in thanks. Their attention is brought to the doors when they hear the shouts of the coroner.
"Ma'am! Ma'am, I need you to sign!"
"I don't... I don't know what you think that thing is in there, but that is not my son!" Joyce screamed as she stormed through the doors, turning on her heels as she pointed a finger at the disgruntled coroner.
"Joyce, wait a second." Hopper reached out a hand to calm her down.
"No!" She snapped.
She marched to the door, her son and the coroner calling after her.
"Mom!"
"Ma'am, I-- Ma'am!"
Jonathan ran after his mother, narrowly avoiding the door swinging shut.
•••
The bell at Hawkins High rang throughout the halls, signaling the end of the period. Nancy and Steve stood in the alley by the field.
"So, wait a sec. I don't understand. You went back to my house?" Steve asked, puzzled.
"To look for Barb." Nancy confirmed.
"Yeah, okay, but why didn't you just talk to me? That's crazy." Steve shrugged, putting his hands in his pockets.
"I don't know, I... I was scared."
"You seriously think you saw a guy in a mask just hanging out in my yard?"
"I don't think it was a mask."
"But he had no face?" Steve asked, a disapproving yet disbelieving tone evident in his voice.
Nancy felt frustration rising as she knew she wasn't getting to Steve or even explaining correctly. She shook her head.
"I don't know! I don't know, I just... I have a terrible feeling about this."
There was a brief pause before Steve spoke.
"Oh, this is bad. This is really bad." He leaned against the opposite brick wall, panic and concern taking over.
Nancy felt the slightest bit relieved, thinking Steve and herself were finally on the same page, but yet concern.
"What?"
"The cops... they're gonna want to talk to all of us now. Tommy, Carol, everybody who was at the party."
"So?" The anger was rising quickly in Nancy.
"My parents are gonna murder me!"
"Are you serious right now?" She asked in disgust.
"You don't understand. My dad's a grade-A asshole."
"Barb is missing! And you're worried about your dad?" Nancy retorted.
"Okay, just... When you talk to the cops, just... don't mention the beers. It's just gonna get us both in trouble, and Barbara's got nothing to do with it, okay?"
Nancy scoffs.
"I can't believe you right now. I can't believe you." Nancy storms off, leaving Steve in the dirt.
"Nancy. Nancy, wait!" Steve calls, not moving, his feet planted to the ground.
"Nancy!"
||Reader's POV||
I blink away the tears as I stare at the same wall my eyes haven't left since I woke up. Lucas saw me and Dustin off and made sure we got home. My whole body has been numb since last night. The image of Will laying lifeless on the gurney hasn't left my mind.
I never would have believed it but, I wanted more than anything to be at school rather than staying home today. Mom thinks it was the stress and trauma that made me sick today, but whatever it really is, she insisted I stay home.
I locked myself in my room as soon as I got home, Dustin had filled Mom in on what happened. She had woken me up this morning, apologizing and asking if there was anything she could do to help. But she couldn't do anything. Nobody could. Will, my best friend is gone.
Apparently I was burning up because Mom began freaking out when she felt my forehead. I didn't feel any different apart from grief and heartbreak.
"Alright, sweetie I called the school and they know you're staying home. I wish I could stay with you but I can't miss another work day. I'll be back at the regular time, and you know what number to call if you need anything, okay?"
I felt her hand rub my shoulder as I never broke eye contact with the wall. Tears falling freely down my face and into my hair. My left arm had become numb from laying on my left side.
"Mm." I couldn't even bring myself to speak.
"Bye, sweetie."
I heard her footsteps recede followed by the closing of my bedroom door. I closed my eyes, trying to sleep. But every time my eyes closed I saw it all over again. Will being pulled from the water. I tried to push through it. But my mind began creating scenarios of how he fell in.
Countless images of him stumbling over the cliff. Or even the horrific thought of his already lifeless body being tossed into the water by a faceless figure that I only assumed to be his murderer. Countless, horrendous scenarios playing like a slideshow in my head and a second wave of pain washed over me as it felt as if someone reached into my chest and squeezed my heart into dust, while another hand punched my gut. I rolled over on my back, I felt the anguish surging through my veins and all the way to my fingertips as a wave of anger erupted from deep within. I heard items fall to the floor somewhere around my room and I figured that in my fit I had slammed my fists too hard against my bed, shaking the room somehow.
I quickly dismissed the odd thought and a second wave of hot tears streamed down my cheeks.
My palms began to sweat as I felt my body temperature rise out of what I could only assume was anger. That must be where my fever had come from but I still didn't understand how that all happened.
I was angry my best friend was taken away from me. I loved him, and he was the closest friend I have ever had. And now he is gone. I still refused to believe it yet my mind was cruel enough to replay the worst moment of my life every time I close my eyes.
Sniffling, I wiped my eyes and sat up. I couldn't stand being alone with nothing else to think about and I looked around my room for anything to take my mind off everything that's been happening.
My eyes scanned the room and then they fell on the all too familiar mix tape Will had lent to me just months ago. A bittersweet smile had made it's way onto my face and I got out of bed. I put the tape in the boombox and pressed play.
"Should I stay or should I go?"
I sat listening to Will's favorite song and I felt a different wave of emotion each over me for once.
That’s when I heard my super-comm go off.

Jancys first time where they're both virgins but Nancys more confident whereas Jonathan is a trembling mess☺
A/N: Sorry this took so long, but it’s my first time writing smut. So it might be garbage. So, to fulfill the prompt this is a slight-AU set a couple of weeks after the main events of S1, ie during the timeskip. Also this is smut but not just smut and it takes awhile to get there.
Also on Ao3 and FFNet.
NSFW, ofc.
He’s laying in bed, staring at the ceiling, listening to New Order and trying to work out what his life is. Will’s back but he’s not the same. Alternate dimensions exists. Monsters are real. The government is evil. And Nancy Wheeler makes him feel funny things. Suddenly there’s a knock on the front door. Something as mundane as that makes him tense up nowadays. He slowly gets up to answer since he’s the only one home. His mom and Will is at another check up at the hospital.
”Hi.”
It’s her. He’s slightly taken aback, he didn’t expect to see her. They haven’t talked much since that night. That night they fought a monster, that night he got his brother back. That night they almost kissed. He didn’t go back to school right away, staying home to care for his brother that first week before his mom eventually sent him off, saying that at least he needed to return to some normalcy. Whatever normalcy could be now, after all. Nancy has talked to him a couple of times in school. Asking how Will’s doing, how he’s doing. He’s answered. Asked about how she was doing. She’d looked lonely. No Barb by her side, and to his surprise no Steve either. He’d seen her talking with him at her locker once, they’d seemed amicable, friendly. But for the most part he’d seen her walk the halls alone. He wanted to approach her, but he didn’t know how to. Didn’t know if she wanted it. The few times they talked it had always been she who had sought out him. And now she was here, on his doorstep.
”Hey,” he answers after a second when he realizes he’s just stared at her without saying anything. She’s smiling shyly and got her hair in a ponytail. The autumn sun shines behind her. She’s mesmerizing.
”Can I come in?”
”Oh! Yeah, yeah, of course, sorry,” he stumbles over his words and steps aside so she can enter.
He takes her coat, she thanks him and looks around.
”House looks better,” she says after taking in the wallpaper and the fixed hole in the wall.”
”Yeah, Hopper helped me fix it up.”
She nods.
”Home alone?”
”Mom took Will to the hospital for a checkup,” he informs her.
”Oh. How is he doing?”
The instinctive response is to say he’s fine, but since it’s Nancy he thinks twice about it. They cut themselves open together. He guesses he can be honest with her.
”I don’t know, I worry… sometimes he seems fine, other times… it’s like he’s different. Maybe things just can’t go back to the way they were.”
”I’m sorry,” she says and looks straight into his eyes for what feels like a long time. ”You might be right about that… nothing can go back to the way it was,” she continues.
”How are you?” He asks. She looks to be actually thinking about it, just like him preparing an actual honest reply to the question most people answered automatically.
”I uh… not good, to be honest. Barb’s dead. She’s dead and no one knows, not even her parents and I can’t tell them what happened because the government covered it up. Plus I worry about Mike. And I… we know all this stuff now, you know. That we can’t tell anyone about. And I just keep thinking… is it over? Can it really be over? I mean, all this stuff is still just… out there… I don’t know, I’m rambling, I just… it’s been so lonely without Barb, but I feel like… we… went through it together, we know, we… we can talk, right?”
”Yeah, of course,” he immediately answers.
”Good,” she flashes a smile briefly. ”Makes me feel less lonely.”
”I thought Steve…” he begins, carefully.
”Oh… Steve and I… yeah that’s over.”
”Oh,” he mirrors her without thinking.
”Yeah I mean, he turned out to be a good guy in the end, y’know…”
”Definitely.”
”But it’s not… what I want. We’re still friends, kind of, but. Think I realized some stuff about myself through all this.”
He nods and gestures for her to sit down on the couch when he suddenly realizes they’ve been standing awkwardly this whole time. He sits down next to her and urges for her to continue.
”Steve was just a brief… I don’t know. He was popular. A junior. In with the cool kids. It was something I thought I wanted. Before. But that night… the night Barb disappeared… do you know what the last thing she said to me was?”
He shakes his head.
”She said ’this isn’t you’. I brushed her off and went back upstairs. But it was uncomfortable, with Steve and I couldn’t get her words out of my head. It felt like I was doing it just to… I don’t know, to prove something to myself. To get some status. So I stopped. Before anything you know… happened. Steve was surprisingly okay with it. I mean, he was disappointed and frustrated but… so I went home.”
”I… uh, I’m sorry about the pictures.”
”You’ve already apologized for that,” she smiles.
”Yeah but uh, I wanted to say sorry again.”
”Well, thanks. But you didn’t have to, I forgave you the first time. I could tell you really meant it.”
”Yeah.”
”I can’t sleep,” she blurts out.
”Me neither,” he confesses.
”I get nightmares. About… that place. About Barb.”
”I dream that Will is gone again. I have to get up and check on him every time when I wake up from one.”
She nods.
”Mike came into my room last night and shook me awake. I was screaming.”
He nods.
”Your name, apparently. He said I was screaming for you.”
He looks up, surprised.
”Oh.”
”My nightmare is that I’m running around in that place but can’t find your voice. I try to remember how it felt, when you pulled me out of the tree trunk. When you held me. It felt safe.”
He doesn’t know what to say to that. He feels like he has to do something though, so he puts a tentative hand on her knee, hoping to convey support. That he wants her to always feel safe. She smiles slightly, mumbles ”thanks” and puts her hand on top of his. Slowly she turns it around so his palm faces up. Her fingers brush against the now smaller bandage that covers the scar. She has the same on her scarred hand. He’s reminded of that night again. Of the electricity between them in that moment. Of what he was just about to do when Steve banged on the door.
Apparently so is she because she looks up and asks him.
”That night… before Steve came. What were you going to say? When you said my name.”
He looks at her and swallows hard. What should he say? What could he say? What would he even say? It wasn’t exactly words that had been forming in his head then, when he’d said her name. More of an action. She stares at him with big beautiful eyes now like she did then. Should he just…? For a second her gaze drops down to his lips and then back up to his eyes. He feels like he has an inkling of what she’s saying, he doesn’t need a photograph to analyze this. Screw it.
He leans in and kisses her. Her lips are soft and she makes a small surprised noise but doesn’t pull away. The opposite, in fact. When the kiss ends he looks at her and she looks at him and for a split-second it feels like his entire existence hangs in the balance. Then she kisses him, pressing their lips together tight and grasping his cheek, pulling him closer. A dam bursts inside of him then, he kisses her back with the same eagerness. He wants every kiss to last forever, their lips only come apart when they both need air in their lungs before coming together again.
Time stands still so he as no idea for how long they’ve made out when she pulls away slightly from his lips and gives him a look. She looks assured. There’s a special glimmer in her eyes and a small smile at the corner of her lips.
”Jonathan,” she breathes out.
”Nance,” he mumbles.
”Let’s go to your room.”
Words betray him so he nods and stands up, she stands with him and the kisses continue as he backs down the hall the familiar way to his room, she presses him on forward. When they get close he hears music and realizes he forgot to turn off New Order. He can neither think or walk straight, he’s only aware of Nancy, her hands on his shirt collar, her lips on his. She must’ve kicked his door shut with her foot because her hands haven’t left him. He’s walking backwards until the back of his legs hits his bed and Nancy gently pushes him down on the covers before she herself follows on top of him.
His hands grips her sides as she straddles him. She sinks her head down and their mouths crash together again. Her hands are in his hair and his travel up her back. She must surely feel him now against her thigh, he thinks because he’s definitely weary aware of the feel of her against him there. Yep, she must, he decides as a soft whimper escapes her lips when she rolls her hips against him. Her hands leave his hair to fiddles with the buttons on his shirt.
”Nance,” he gets out between kisses.
”Yes?” She murmurs before pressing their lips together again.
”Are you sure about this?” He asks. He has no idea what he’s doing he just knows he doesn’t want to stop despite that. But he has to know that she’s thinking more straight than he is currently. That she won’t regret whatever will happen.
”Yes,” she breathes out before kissing him again. ”Are you?” She then asks.
He nods and she’s all over him again, finishing unbuttoning his shirt she adjusts herself slightly and they both sit up somewhat so she can pull it off him. His bare torso makes him feel a bit self-conscious but when she looks down at his chest she bites down on her lip somewhat and her hands play over his chest before she leans in and kisses him again. They break apart and she pushes him down against the covers again. Then she pulls her top off. Her bra soon follows. She’s breathtaking.
”You’re so beautiful,” he manages to get out.
She smiles slightly and leans down against him. She takes his arms and places his hands on her chest. His breath hitches as he gently cups her breasts and her tongue finds his again. Just when he’s found himself with this new development her hand travels down and grasps him through his jeans. She’s got a playful smile and thankfully some sort of autopilot takes over and he lifts himself up slightly when she’s pulled the zipper down so his jeans can come off when she tugs at them. It seems a contortionist’s nightmare but she then manages to remove her own too with barely any adjustment of her position on top of him. She’s just in her panties when she frees him from his boxers.
He’s not proud of the moan that escapes him when her hand grasps his hard cock, but she just keeps that sly smile on her face and watches him with that glint in her eyes as she strokes him. Her other hand goes inside her panties and soon she moans with him. She takes one of his hands and moves it there. He can feel how wet she is as hes teers his fingers against herself. She shuts her eyes and goes up an octave when she steers his fingers to her clit. After awhile she pulls her panties down and lift herself up slightly. He suddenly realizes.
”I… don’t have a condom.”
”It’s okay, I’m on the pill,” she says, eyes darting from his cock to his eyes. ”I mean, if you’e okay with it… do you want to stop?”
”No,” he breathes out. He doesn’t want to stop. He’s pretty sure he couldn’t stop even if he wanted to. Not when Nancy is naked on top of him and looking at him like that. ”Do you want to stop?” He asks, to make sure.
”Never,” she answers. He nods.
She steers him inside of her and slowly, slowly, sinks down on him. She bites her lip in a futile attempt to prevent a moan from escaping. He’s completely transfixed by the sight of her as the sensation of her enveloping him takes over. He holds her as she slowly starts rocking her hips against him. Soon they fall into a rhythm and it feels like everything in the world is in complete sync, because the world is just the two of them, their bodies, their moans. Her skin against his. Her hands on his chest, his hands on her hips, her lips against his. His throbbing cock inside her wet pussy.
The sensation builds as she quickens the pace slightly. She starts to moan his name and the light tones her voice reaches and the way she can’t seem to make it to the end of the three syllable word somehow makes it the best thing he’s ever heard. Soon he feels a familiar but yet unfamiliar feeling, he can feel he’s close to the edge but it’s a strange, wonderful sensation getting there not by himself but through someone else, through her.
”N-nance,” he manages. ”I’m gonna…” he trails off, just like her incapable of putting more than a few syllables together at once in this moment. She nods and again he catches a special glimmer in her eye that he’ll remember forever. Instead of slowing down she increases the pace even more. Everything heightens. He shudders and lets out an incoherent murmur as he comes inside of her. The feeling is unbelievable, he’s sure his whole body would jerk and twitch if not for her sitting on top of him with her hands pressing down on his chest.
She collapses against him and his cock slides out of her. She buries her face in the crook of his neck and his arms go around her back, holding her close as they just lay there breathing for awhile. She presses a kiss against his shoulder, to his collarbone, to his cheek, then shifts so she’s laying more on her side, in his arms, with her head on his shoulder.
”That was amazing,” she says.
”Yeah.”
They lay in silence for awhile, but it doesn’t feel uncomfortable. He runs his fingers through her hair. New Order is still playing and she drums her fingers against his chest, tapping out the beat.
”I like you,” she simply states.
”I like you a lot,” he reciprocates.
”Me too. A lot, I mean,” she counters, looking up at him and pressing another kiss to his cheek before settling down again.
The sound of the front door opening and closing signals the end of their own private reprieve.
”Jonathan, we’re home! Jonathan?” His mother calls out.
It sends them both scrambling for their clothes. They hastily get dressed, Nancy fixes her hair and then smooths down the back of his while he turns off New Order. He opens his bedroom door and ventures out with Nancy behind him. He was prepared to have an extremely awkward encounter but prayed that it wouldn’t be that obvious what they’ve been doing.
”Hey, mom,” he says.
”Oh, hey,” she begins as she halts her step, she was heading right towards his bedroom. ”Hi,” she continues, looking with surprise at Nancy. ”I didn’t know you were coming over, it’s lovely to see you.”
”Hi, yeah I just… thought I’d pop by. Nice to see you too, Mrs. Byers,” Nancy answers and smiles gently. He avoids his mother’s gaze as she looks between them both.
”How did it go?” He thinks to ask and starts to move again, feeling like it could somehow maybe be less awkward if they moved away from his bedroom.
”Oh, you know how it is. Not much to tell. They’re hoping the coughing will go away eventually. But we’ll have to keep checking in, they’re thinking he might need an inhalor eventually if it doesn’t go away,” his mom relates as they walk out towards the living room.
He nods.
”Hey buddy, how are you feeling?” He asks Will who’s sat down in the couch turning on the TV.
”Okay,” he answers before looking curiously at Nancy. ”Hey, Nancy.”
”Hey, Will,” she answers. ”Glad to see you doing better,” she adds.
”Thanks,” his little brother answers and for a second looks from Nancy to him, giving him a look he knows means he’ll have a lot of questions about this later.
”Will you be staying for dinner, sweetie?” His mom turns to Nancy.
”Oh,” she looks between his mom and him, seemingly searching for the appropriate answer. He knows what he wants it to be, he wants her to be around as much as possible, and hopes he can convey that with a look. ”I don’t want to impose…” Nancy continues.
”Nonsense, we’d be happy to have you!” His mom answers.
”Oh, well in that case… sure, I’d love to,” Nancy smiles.
She looks at him and he feels himself smiling back at her.

plot for stranger things 3 REVEALED in a dream i had:
there’s a serial killer in hawkins but get this. he’s like 3 years old. he stabs people and never gets caught bc nobody suspects a fucking baby. plus he wears a mask
this 3 year old kid walks will byers home one day to the apartment complex they both live in and realizes he lives next door, so he can go grab his mask real quick and then sneak into will’s house to kill him. actually it’s mike’s house i guess bc the killer toddler sneaks in and finds mike’s little sister? so he tries to stab her but she deftly dodges all his strikes until he cuts her leg. she starts crying for her mom and the killer toddler runs away. mrs wheeler checks out the large cut on holly’s leg and goes “did... justin do this?” justin is the name of their cat. holly tries to explain that some boy did it
killer toddler targets nancy next but starts telling her how he admires her for trying to avenge barb? it’s unclear, i don’t rmr this part very well
i start to think wow, it’s lame that this show switched from monsters to evil children just for cheap shock value but then i rmr that they foreshadowed this storyline in s1 when some group of mean kids claim that their friend got lost in the upside down after he gained powers. oh yeah btw the killer toddler has some dark upside down powers also
then we see the killer toddler’s backstory: he and his older bully friends ran away to the upside down and built a clubhouse there? where they just painted on walls and whatever until the bullies put the toddler in a surprise nursery room they made for him. he got super mad and was yelling shit like “i’m not a baby! i hate being fucking little!” in a grown new jersey man’s voice. then he escapes by attacking his friends with the dark powers he got from the mind flayer or something, which were all very specific: he could vomit in your hands at will, stretch his tongue out real far and make you do the same, and unlock locks with his mind. this all made sense in the dream and totally cleared everything up
anyway can’t wait to see how the duffer bros adapt this. i know it’s a bold departure from the first two seasons and requires some retconning but i think it’s got potential
