There's something just like weirdly charming about how completely unapologetically grounded in time Psych is. I wonder what watching this show would be like for someone who like didn't remember this period of time

#please feel free to ignore this #I'm watching Psych #Like certain things obviously you can't escape when filming during a certain time period #like the technology or the clothes or the way people like speak/present/groom themselves #but Psych takes it one step further and like spoofs everything that was popular at the time #I feel like so many shows actively try to avoid dating themselves but Psych goes for it and I think it adds to the spirit of the show #and because they never actually explicitly name anything except like TiVo lol #it all feels like a spoof of a spoof to the point that it kind of becomes its own joke
