(No wait, I love this! I love them!! I've made a few headcanons for them but still unsure if its close to accurate or not but here they are!!)

Headcanon Time!!

•Irwin is definitely head over heels, we discovered that but that doesn't exactly stop him from being cheeky and cliche with Sydney.

•An example of this is how he would make Sydney wear either cute matching shirts or dumb ones with stupid quotes but it is still quite funny!

•Another example is that he likes to lift Syd in his arms and call him his little princess as a joke, Syd can totally bench press him if needed but still gets overwhelmed when Irwin carries him.

•Irwin does these things with the faint of heart and cares a lot that he would only do these things when Syd is comfortable or when they're in the comforts of privacy.

•Syd's bold too, Don't underestimate that boy. He can sense when Irwin is complete puddy in his hands and would usually tease him for it, He likes to initiate the physical contact because he can tell Irwin is just being polite not to be too touchy.

•They have movie dates together either at the theater or one of their places, They try to keep it hush-hush but Charlie knows what's up already from the get-go.

•They like to tease each other and often have playfights, They don't actually hurt each other that much though.

•Syd likes to paint his nails sometimes and would encourage Irwin to try it with him, Irwin always chooses black cus he thinks it's 'manly' but he can go to red or pink any day if he wanted to. Sometimes he'll wish he picked the color that matched Syd's eyes.

•I can see Irwin actually being decent when cooking, Syd is more experienced though so he would occasionally teach Irwin when he asks for it.

“YOU TOOK MY DAUGHTER FROM ME!” Aaravos ferociously wailed at the Startouch Elder, who was now caught in a web of his own harsh decisions.

A blooming flower of composure wilted and died into nothing but that of bitter, seething rage. 

Two titans found themselves in a heated battle, one bearing a demeanor of cold and calculated  poise. The other, nothing but destructive and tainted grief fueled by the choice of the man before him.

Aaravos panted in lament as many millennia worth of torment built up into a storming rage of destruction. The stars that typically shimmied on his cosmic body began to pass out one by one.

Just like the raging emotions inside him.

Within the dark of the Valley of the Graves, the similarly guilty watchful stars were intently glaring upon them. The decaying semblance of Sol Regem’s corpse bearing witness just as he had so many centuries ago, when the wretched snake showed his face as nothing but a filthy traitor. Aaravos firmly clutched the Elder with Aspiro Frigis, praying with all his might that he could finally get revenge in the name of his unjustly fallen daughter. 

The Elder was going to look into his wrathful eyes. The Elder was going to feel his pain.

The Elder was going to feel his agony.

Except that CRAVEN refused to do any such thing.

“LOOK AT ME!” A whisk of bright, sizzling lightning crashed onto the Elder’s glistening extraterrestrial skin. However it barely even made him flinch.

Barely even scratched him.

“LOOK ME IN THE EYES, YOU COWARD!” Aaravos forthwith called upon another hissing bolt of terror, but all he had hoped to achieve had come crashing down like the same crackling lightning he had summoned from the same heavens he so despised.

Poetic irony was a harsh mistress. 

He should not have underestimated the Elder, besides he was one of the sly monsters who murdered his beloved daughter for showing loving compassion. A cosmic cyclone of despair set Aaravos aflame, causing his entire essence to shatter.

Of course he would elude him again.

The Elder had taken the ice Aaravos had so cleverly imprisoned him in and broken the glacial fragments into tiny shards of Aaravos’ storming agony.

The agony Aaravos had carried for many millennia in his empty hollow heart.

Finally, the pathetic monster held Aaravos’ painful gaze for a simple mere moment.

A mere fraction of a second.

But that's all it was. This entire confronation was for naught. For a moment later, the despicable being was gone. Teleported back to sitting on his high horse in the safety stars, self declaring his own might over all other beings who had no say in his disgusting version of order.

Aaravos was left alone once more in the sea of his own mourning.

“AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!” He cried into the peaceful hollow wind, the world paying no mind to the throbbing aching that forever ate at his very own bleedingly corrupted soul.

Aaravos slowly crouched down to make acquaintance to the cold, hard stone floor, a waterfall of dewdrops transcended onto the pitiful land below. 

Pain. Suffering. Grief.

He just wanted it to stop.

„AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!” The high-pitched scream escaped Sunil as soon as he noticed the big brown dot near his foot. The panic-laced sound reverberated through the entire house and further – the sturdy walls doing little to protects the strollers outside from having their hearing damaged. Fortunately, his vocal cords knew faster than even his mind what to do. “VINNIEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!” He jumped away as he screamed and dashed out of the kitchen, his eyes darting wildly, his gaze bouncing off of the walls.

Before he could register another presence, he bumped with great impact into Vinnie who was halfway on his way from Sunil’s bedroom to the kitchen.

“Sunil, wh-?”

“NO TIME!” Sunil grabbed his best friend’s wrist and dashed with him behind the couch, the sheer speed he was moving at not betraying that he was dragging additional weight with him.

“Woah!” Vinnie gasped once they were safe behind the soft furniture, or at least that’s what he assumed that’s why they found themselves there. “What’s going on?” He looked down with wide eyes at the crouching Sunil who shook with each breath.

“A-A b-bug!”

“A bug…?” Vinnie blinked as he processed the information. “Oooooh, a bug.” He perked up, a smile spreading across his face. “I get it now, alright, no worries, I will take care of that nasty insect. You just wait here.” Vinnie chuckled a little and walked off to the kitchen, disappearing behind the corner.

Although still shaking, Sunil’s nerves weren’t quite as frayed now. Witnessing Vinnie walk to the kitchen safely from his retreat, resolved some of the tension in him. It was alright, he knew Vinnie was not afraid of bugs, he was just going to kill that insect, throw it away, and then Sunil could use his kitchen at ease again. He put his hand on his chest, feeling it moving up and down, up and down… Just then an eerily familiar high-pitched scream shook the floor beneath him… If he didn’t know any better, he would have thought that he had a clone which was now screaming from the kitchen. He barely had time to ponder about it when Vinnie suddenly appeared by his side, leaning heavily against the back of the couch, his breath frantic.

“Vinnie? What happened?”

“IT’S A COCKROACH!” Vinnie curled up on himself.

“Y-Yes, I know! But what’s wrong with this fact?”

Vinnie’s eyes moved from side to side quickly, a few sweat drops running down his temples.

“I-I might be afraid of cockroaches,” He mumbled out with hung head.

“Really?” Vinnie nodded in reply. “So, wait, it’s still there?!” Another nod. “I… I guess we have no choice then to call Pepper to kill it.”

A little something based on my headcanon that Vinnie while alright with every other insect is actually really afraid of cockroaches so one day when Sunil, thinking that to Vinnie a cockroach is a bug like any other, asks him to kill one and well, Vinnie's is petrified :).

I mostly just wanted Vinnie to have some one specific bug to be afraid of for this sepcific scenario cause it funny, my choice for it being cockroaches is pretty much random.

Ok to be honest my first thought before I read the end was he was going to tell Sunil he ate it lol but what happened next was so much funnier lol Mr.cool scared of a cockroach..I don’t blame him though they are so creepy and they FLY which bones scary points right there!

I can only imagine pepper walking in and seeing those two holding each other shaking and she just says “ok, where is it?” And they both point and say “K-kitchen..”

fhsbcjsic its okay you can come here and scream about mpw with me!!! i'm so glad you enjoyed the episode!! they've actually resolved the issue a Lot quicker than i thought compared to the manga, which is good but also its like ............. what do they have in store for us later on then gndnsjf!!! but!!!! yes!!!! they're gonna go on a lil date in ep 3 and they both look SO happy and content and!!!! i love them both! they're idiots and are sooooooo into each other but aren't great at communicating and they've still got things they need to talk through BUT!!! they're trying!!!! and its just really endearing to see both characters, segasaki AND yoh, equally having these 'oh?? huh???' moments! and then realising they're BOTH just as bad as each other in expressing what they wanna say vs what they actually say.

and also what i find super interesting is so far, we've seen yoh be very hesistant to touch segasaki, unless he's drunk. and in ep 3, segasaki LITERALLY takes yoh's hand and places it across his shoulder. idk but like. little details like that, little actions like that, sometime speak volumes more than words? that segasaki doesnt want yoh to be shy or hesitant around him. and in a way its breaking that 'power imbalance' that we've seen them having in ep 1 and 2 bc yoh thought he was a "contracted slave", and hearing yoh say that he feels like that at the end of ep 2 sorta really .... HIT segasaki ... bc thats not what he wanted yoh to feel like, but his 'proposal' made it seem like that! which! again! they're RUBBISH at communicating what they actually wanna say!!

ohhhh and also. yeah i LOVED how ep 2 ended with segasaki actually feeling sad and upset bc he thinks yoh hates him!!!! and segasaki hasn't pushed for yoh to clarify himself, he just let him be and is giving him the space he needs and its all Messy bc OH! so now we have boundaries!!!!! and limits!!!! and this silly rule of we won't have sex when its raining bc segasaki doesnt wanna burden yoh with doing laundry on a rainy day bc it was him trying to be kinder to yoh!!!!!!! only to realise that yoh doesnt care about that or get it at all!!!! yoh WANTS to be intimate with segasaki!!! and yoh wants segasaki to smile at him!!!! but its tiring to be with him and he hates it!!!! and yet he's looking down at yoh's sketches of him!!!!!!!

oh its sooooooo good. my god they NEED to talk about this all when yoh is sober. but its SO good. SO GOOD.

Oh, The Fires Back, Okay, Moving On ; So I Finally Read ‘Quest For Lost Powers’ (Commentary Part 6; Fighting Fire With Fire)

It’s over! The Fire Chapter is FINALLY OVER.

Let's just jump right into it so we can move on to another ninja's story.

Last time, Kai entered the realm of Indiana Jones. Skylor was un-invited cause Kai's a jerk like that. And now Kai is about to die from the fire snake except not really.

Also it turns out his powers aren't even from the snake, and he has to find it deep within himself to get them back.

You know, he learned THE SAME THING in Secrets of the Forbidden Spinjitsu, so you think this would be obvious.

[Skylor raced into the cave and flipped into the offerings pile, picking up a large, metal garbage can lid as her feet landed. Then she jumped between Kai and Fire Fang and blocked the fiery blast, using the lid as a shield.]

What a surprise, she never left.

She had so little faith in her boyfriend that she KNEW he would f**k up. So she waited in the back until seconds before his death.

What a supportive girlfriend /j /s

[Skylor dropped the red-hot shield and Kai saw she was wearing Master Chen’s fireproof oven mitts on her hands. Why didn’t I think of those? he thought.]

Girls are smart, boys aren't. That's the lesson of this. /j /s

Also I'm SO GLAD Chen, the man who started a whole race war on Ninjago and worshipped snakes, had fireproof oven mitts to support his plans.

[Kai flashed back to the smell of Fire Fang’s hot breath, and the feeling of helplessness as the creature pinned him down. Without Skylor, he’d be toast!]

Oh, so NOW you're willing to admit it.

By your logic, I think you would've been fine on your own.

[He remembered the time he had discovered his True Potential, when he realized he needed to protect the Green Ninja. Everything he did from then on, every decision he made, was based on protecting others.]

Why is this the best paragraph in this ENTIRE story?

Fr. I never knew I NEEDED to know what happened back in Season 1 with Kai and Lloyd. He saved him, he unlocked his potential, they got out.

Because, TRUER WORDS HAVE NEVER BEEN SAID.

Kai devotes everything he does towards protecting others, and looking spicy doing it. He is the protector. He is the one who has to do everything.

This is the best paragraph in the story for acknowledging this.

For THIS STORY though, I wish it worked better. Because this happened back in Season 1. After several seasons, this lesson, by this point, should've been something he already knew.

[“I can’t protect others unless I let other people protect me, too,” he realized out loud.]

OKAY. I admit. That was a cool line.

[As he said the words, his eyes glowed red and he felt the power flow within him. Fire sprouted from his hands. “Kai!” Skylor cried. “Your fire powers are back!” “Yes,” he said. “And just in time.”]

The way that was worded was VERY anti-climactic.

Like, two sentences. That's it. His eyes glowed red and fire's on is palms. That's it.

I don't know, I felt like you could've worded it better to be more special, and set a good visual for the audience.

So does this mean Kai's depression is magically gone? Because he's cured. Everything is solved now. He's gonna be mostly unaffected by this whole thing.

In Dragon's Rising, that seems to be the case too. He learned to rely on others. What does he do? He leaves Lloyd after finding him.

[“Ready,” she said. “Time to fight fire with fire!”]

Yeah that's how wars start, kids.

[“Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!”]

SLUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUURP

Also the torch is the only thing that looks like fire in this image. These flames looks like spirits.

[Kai pointed at the flaming torch of one of the Fire Fiends. He raised his hand and the flame lifted up from the torch and floated in the air. Then Kai swung his arm behind him, and the flame flew through the air and joined the flames in the Lake of Fire.]

Ooh, I love that. I love the elemental powers being used in creative ways like this.

Seriously, why didn't we see Kai doing this in the actual show?

(He might have. Call me out if he did.)

[“Nice!” Skylor cheered. “But can you do a double?” She held out both arms.]

WHEN was this a rule?

This ONLY happened in Crystalized and here.

They just made up a rule that there's a limited time to the powers Skylor absorbs. All for suspense in Crystalized.

Now, I don't MIND that rule. It's good to make a weakness for an OP character.

But 1) They should've introduced this rule back in Season 4

And 2) There is NO EXPLANATION on what said limited time is.

Season 4, she could apparently have that power always with no problem.

Crystalized, it was a few hours.

Here, it's a few MINUTES.

AND in Hunted, the Oni powers didn't fade after hours, and it poisoned her to hospitality cause they had to inject it out of her body.

SET SOME RULES FOR THIS CHICK'S POWERS, AND KEEP THOSE RULES CONSISTENT.

(Rant Over)

[Kai spun into a Spinjitzu tornado, knocking the Fire Fiends off the rim of the crater. Skylor changed tactics and kicked the torches out of their hands so Kai could easily finish them. When the last fiend was toppled, Kai whirled over to Skylor for a high five.]

Yay for MURDER.

Skylor can’t just touch Kai again? He’s right there.

[“I think we qualify as a power couple now,” he said, and then…]

Oh stop. After all the garbage you gave her?

[WHOOOOOSH!]

[“Whoa! It just vanished,” Skylor remarked. “Maybe looking for a new place to hang out,” Kai guessed. “Aspheera created Fire Fang,” Skylor pointed out. “Maybe it returned back to elemental energy.” “We may never know,” Kai added.]

Yeah, let's leave that unconcluded. At an EPILOGUE.

This will come back into play in Dragons Rising Season 3. /j (Let's see how well this sentence ages)

[“So, you’ve got your powers back,” Skylor said. “What now?” “Well, I guess I’ll go back to Master Wu and Lloyd, and see if there’s any news from the other ninja,” Kai said. “They might need my…I mean, our help.”]

Except Skylor isn't in Dragons Rising. So something happened.

[“But first, you and I need to celebrate!” Kai added. “What do you have in mind?” Skylor asked. “I was thinking,” Kai said as he hopped into the passenger seat of the noodle delivery vehicle, “maybe it’s time to find out what this new red-hot team of Kai and Skylor can do together? I mean, the city is a real mess right now.” Skylor grinned. “I’m in,” she said, starting the engine. “No sleep till Ninjago City!”]

Our story ends with a loving couple driving out into the sunset burning to death in the desert with a fireplace. How lovely.

The fire section of this book is done! Three more to go. Hopefully this IS the worst one and the others are better.

I mean if the Wildbrain era is influence to all of them, that’s a given.

I’ll probably do a little review on this chapter as a whole in the next part, with my thoughts all collected and not scattered. Then we move on to the next story.

7. If you could download a Tolkien language into your brain and speak it fluently, which one would you pick and why?

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah thid is the tough one oh boy

So as a teen I actually set out to learn Sindarin. I had the alphabet memorized and everything (and my classmates knew I had it memorized). I made myself learning resources. I had a notebook in which I would give myself exercises. The whole thing didn't last very long, but the drive was definitely there. I don't remember much, but I do remember for example that galad means light, and lasto beth lammen, which Gandalf says at the gates of Moria, means "listen to my speech" (not sure about my translation of lammen here).

Also, my username is Sindarin ^^

But then along came the Hobbit and an ungodly obsession with Dwarves (they are so cool!!!!! Look at them fight!!!!! Loyalty, honor, a willing heart???? The architecture? The costumes? The geometry? The runes?????) There are, as far as I know at least, more resources on Khûzdul than on Sindarin. There's a tumblr blog actually, @/thedwarrowscholar, who has a whole neo-khûzdul dictionary and does translations and clears up grammar and stuff. It's really really cool. So now I am torn. So torn! Between Sindarin and Khûzdul.

I think I am going to choose Khûzdul. I like the way it sounds and the way the grammar works a tiny bit more. Alas for Sindarin, you will always be in my heart

Hello and happy no slack November! Today I’ve been inspired by one of my friends drawings, aka RainyPoppy.

I’m not very proud of it but I can say it’s a step in the right direction, I don’t really like the all black lines, but the completely color coded ones aren’t really my fancy either. I think next time I’ll try a gradient from brown to a color with more fine lining that has near transparent parts as it appears one one of the filtered illustrations. I will also try to saturate my pastels more rather than shading blandly with darker colors which makes the drawing appear really muddy.

I hope you’re enjoying this artistic journey as much as I am, tomorrow I’m be doing blunt shading with little to blur. :)

And I am crying on the floor again. The writing, foreshadowing, and reasoning. There are so much more good fics in this fandom aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah help I want to read them all and talk about them all aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah. Help I can’t function properly. Chapter 12 - Demon Shimmer’s Hellish World

Meanwhile, Demon Shimmer was starring at her world from her black castle. Her world is super scary. It has skeletons, a grey sky, and it’s filled of her demon minions. Demon Shimmer took a deep breathe and smiles. She starts to cackle.

“My world! My subjects! MY DESTINYYYY!!!!”

Demon Shimmer shouted and then started to cackle.

“Soon we will slaughter Sunset Shimmer and the people that she loves the most! Starting with her friends.” Demon Shimmer declared.

“I totally agree your majesty.” said a mysterious evil voice.

The mysterious evil voice came from Adagio Dazzle who walked up from nowhere! Behind Adagio are her friends, Sonata Dusk and Aria Blaze. The Dazzlings bow down to Demon Shimmer.

“Ah. My fellow subjects.” said Demon Shimmer.

The Dazzlings stood up. “We also can’t take any more of Sunset and her friends saving innocent lives. Ever since the Rainbooms defeated us at the battle of the bands, we’ve been looking for evil magic and we found you. Now we can get our revenge on the Rainbooms and we’ll make sure they’ll never breathe this air anymore.” said Adagio Dazzle.

“I hate Sunset. We were supposed to to rule Equestria. Ever since her friends separated me and Sunset, she’s been helping and rescuing innocent lives. She’s been learning about friendship.” Demon Shimmer growls and starts crying angrily. “I want to rip out her soft heart. I hate her! I HATE THAT DAMN ANGEL!!!!” Demon Shimmer started to scream extremely loud. “AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!!!!!!!!!” Demon Shimmer pounded her fist a part of her castle and breathes like a beast.

“Sunset and her friends are going to pay for this. They made us suffer, we’ll make them suffer. They are a menace!” said Aria Blaze.

“They must die. All of them must die. If Sunset broke my heart, we will break hers. By destroying her family.” said Demon Shimmer. Then she let out a very loud roar that sounds like a dinosaur’s roar. All of Demon Shimmer’s demon minions started to roar too.

They knew that they are ready to destroy Sunset, her family, and all of mankind. Unless heroes takes a stand.
