You have been with Sam for 7 months and it's been the best time of your life. You got together in August of last year. He always took you on dates, cuddled, and he's always telling you how much he loves you. Seriously, everyday, every minute, every second. As if he's trying to say something beyond that. But it never really bothered you, all you needed was love and affection from him.

Flashback

You were about to go out with Kat to a party hosted by your good friend Jess, it was her birthday and she said you could bring a plus one.

“Kitty Kat, are you ready?” you shout from down the hall. “Almost, let me touch up my make-up really quick.”

“Hey, y/n. Have you got a text from Sam lately? It seems like he's been getting distant..” Kat says as she walks into your room. “I haven't, maybe it's just work, you know doing all that traveling.” you respond, trying not to let her mind go to conclusions. “You always read my mind y/n.”

She was your girl, you showed her the world

People often mistaken you and Kat as twins, you dressed, looked, and acted eerily similar. “Yea Kat, that's why I'm your twin.” You chuckle. She cracks a smile and looks at you, trying to convince you that she believes you.

She was crying on my shoulder, all I could do was hold her

Kat was currently in your arms sobbing outside of the birthday girl’s house. She had just caught Sam, with Jess. Not dancing as a birthday celebration, grinding and kissing each other. “They weren't drunk y/n! I know how Sam looks when he's drunk!” she choked out with her tears.

“Kitty Kat…” Your heart ached for her. “Are your sure it was him?” you ask. “Yes, it was him! With his blond hair and blue eyes you wouldn't miss it.” She says with no signs of her stopping anytime soon. “8 years y/n…. 8 years down the drain..”

Only made us closer, until July

You and Kat were no longer friends, after you got with Sam. He ended up pursuing you to go on a date with him, which turned into a couple dates, then all the sudden you were dating.

“Sam?” you appear around the corner of his room. “Yes kitty?” he says, looking away from his computer to get a view of your face. “I have a question. Don't you ever feel bad?” you answer without giving him a chance to say anything. He looked dumbfounded as he said “What about?” “You know, for dating me?” You say, barely below a whisper. “Why would I feel like that?” he talks as he inches closer to you. “Kat was my best friend Sam.”

“Y/n, I love you. Kat is the past, for me and you. I would be better if you just moved on and forgot about it, stay focused on me and your life.” Sam says looking in your eyes with a certain look, but not a look of empathy. “I know that you love me, you don't need to remind me.”

I should put it all behind me, shouldn't I?

“Hi Colby! Have you seen Sam? He hasn't been answering my calls.” you ask. “He just left, and y/n, i've been meaning to talk to you.” he says with a look of concern. You sit down with a confused look on your face, signaling him to continue. ‘Look, there's no easy way to say this but.. Sam isn't over Kat. After she caught him and broke up with him, he's been depressed ever since. I don't think he will ever get over that anytime soon at the rate this is going. What I'm trying to say is, I think you're just a distraction. I'm so sorry y/n.”

Well good things don't last, and time moves so fast

It all made sense now. How he always told you he loved you. You always knew you recognized the places he took for dates, it was always the places that he took Kat to. The way you looked, talked, and acted like Kat. No wonder why he would go after you, Even the way he called you kitty. You couldn't believe what you did.

I’d never ask who is better. Cause she couldn’t be, more different than me

“Sam! Are you kidding me?” You screamed at him. Your once soft and loving eyes were now replaced with fiery and dead ones. “I don't know what you're talking about y/n! Colby lied to you, I can't believe you trust him over me!” Here we go again, with the gaslighting.

“Sam! Why didn't you tell me?” you say, breaking down and sliding your back against the door. Now you know how she felt, left in despair as she finally learned the truth. “Fine y/n, do you really wanna know? Yes, I still miss Kat! I miss her so much! You're just her shadow, someone I needed to distract me. You will never be like her!” he concluded. “you know what..” you mumble as you leave the room, slamming the door.

You say no one knows you so well, but every time you touch me, I just wonder how she felt

Now I wonder. Did he see her, in the back of his mind. In my eyes?

You slowly come to realize, you lost 2 important people in your life. Due to your selfish ways, you lost your best friend and a good friend because you let him gaslight you into distancing yourself away from her. He wanted her to be jealous that you was with him, that's all he wanted. He never loved you, he loved the way you were like the person he wanted the most out of everything.

I know you didn't mean to hurt me, so I kept it to myself

'you were scared?' you can't help the small fit of laughter. peter clicks his tongue, 'no, c'mere.' peter not so nicely cups your face and tugs it to his, 'wanna see something i learned at band camp?' he's reenacting it.

They can’t cling to Kaia anymore so now they use Milo? Austin hasn’t been spotted with that dog in months and the last time he mentioned him was back in June/July. It’s been months and if they really gave even one real damn about Austin, they’d notice this relationship was over a long long long time ago. I think Austin’s over it, I mean even Kaia doesn’t seem to miss her dog! And I’m not denying that it probably hurt him, at first he might’ve been upset, I mean he obviously cared about Milo and this would’ve been the 2nd dog he’d be walking away from. But the fact that everyone is looking at this as if Austin’s sad at home crying and not celebrating with champagne just shows me they never ever paid any real attention to him. They didn’t and still don’t care about the very obvious signs we saw that he was unhappy and very likely always on edge. We should be celebrating, not because we want him, but because he’s finally going to get to be happy and free again, really for the first time in 5 years! He’s booked and busy, he’s living the life he dreamed of, without being sucked dry of his clout and energy. No more crazy parents or weird ass brothers, or spoiled brats who think they can act. No more paps everywhere he goes. No more putting up with bullshit. And I think what makes it even worse is, they don’t know if he’s mourning his relationship with Kaia or sleeping with Zoe in secret. I mean, what is going on, seriously? Maybe I’m heartless, but I don’t think he’s too broken up about Milo.

The dog I really feel bad about him losing is his mom's dog Darla. 😢 He actually had a history with that dog, and it was his own mother's dog. But Vanessa has been taking good care of Darla, so I know she's in good hands. I don't even think Austin's busy schedule could really be all that conducive for owning a dog, especially since he doesn't seem to have a lot of family in LA who could really take care of his dog when he's on location or busy filming.

This just goes to show, when a man is not happy in a relationship, he doesn't mind leaving you or your dog lmao.

And idk…I just had a feeling more photos were gonna go missing and I was right. 😭 I just checked tonight (28th April) and it now stops at 16 July 2020. Someone’s actively hiding tagged photos. I think it will eventually be empty like Larry’s. FFS Larry, QUIT teaching Van how to do things on Instagram!! 😭😭

Btw, you can sort by oldest to newest which is what they’re doing to avoid detection but one day, people are gonna notice all the photos are gone. 😭

I'm back! Kinda + What I've been up to + Timezone Change, Story Posting Update

Heyyyy thur guys! I’m back, kinda. Sorry it took me a while to update you guys on what I’ve been working on, life has been extra busy since July 31st for me 💀 I won't post a story update yet as I still have things to do but I mightttt return by the end of September.

If you wanna know what I've been up to, read under the cut. Just a warning, it's pretty long 💀

I have an update on what I've been working on irl and it's kind of an exciting news, at least for me lol. So, in case anyone is wondering what I've been up to, I'm actually preparing to further my Masters overseas and this plan has been a wip since last year. I've been studying for my IELTS because the universities I've applied to requires me to take it. And then I had my graduation ceremony for my Bachelor's Degree after waiting for SO long bcs of Covid. It was one of the happiest day in my life bcs I got the Vice Chancellor's award!!! Sorry for the bragging there, I'm just so proud of myself :') I worked my ass off to maintain my CGPA every semester so getting that award really felt like all of that hard work was worth it :')

After all that is done, I applied to the Uni's that I wanted and surprisingly, all the Uni's I applied to gave me an offer which is pretty neat! I accepted one of the offers and then I had to look for a sponsorship.

I kept it a hush-hush kind of thing and only told several of my close friends about what I was planning to do bcs it was something that I wasn't sure that I'll be getting so anytime that I was taking a "break", I was actually working on this in the background (had to attend zoom interviews with the Uni's. Doing the tasks in order to get an interview invite etc.). It was a stressful process but yeah, this is what I've had planned for me when I was younger so I was determined to make it happen no matter what! Your girl is not one to give up easily! 😤

So around June this year, the sponsorship that I've been aiming for opened and I applied for it, got the results that I had been offered a full-ride sponsorship on July 31st and everything became so busy for me because I had to prepare the necessary documents to be sent to the sponsorship board. It was an exhausting process as I had to make sure that everything is prepared perfectly so there wouldn't be any problems and so far, alhamdulillah, everything has been going well. I had my visa done, I secured a place to stay during the duration of my studies, all the documents were sent at the end of last week. But preparing all of these took a toll on my energy and I simply don't have the energy to open my game or even open blender to work on my story. But I have been writing the scripts and all so yeah, the story is still running in the background. I did find some little time to work on poses but I worked on a few before I stopped because I was too tired hahaha.

Anyways, only a few people knew what I was working on while I was on this break. Shoutout to Miss Wheat knee and Gigi for being patient with me replying to their discord messages late everyday 😭 And thank you for giving me your emotional support and encouragement! A huge thank you to both Miss Devilled Eggs and Wheat knee for helping me in my process of applying to the Uni's from helping me brush up my English for my IELTS during one of our previous calls, and for helping me with my Piece to Camera video practice for my Uni interviews. I really, greatly, am thankful to you guys for that. And to Wheat knee, thank you for believing in me when I was overthinking stuff thinking I wouldn't get the offers sfkhskl I really appreciate you for that 😢

And with that, I would like to update you guys that my posting time will be changing as I will be moving to London for my studies. So my timezone will no longer be GMT+8 :') It will be GMT+1 as of September 28th. Aside from that, my postings won't be regular too, I'll be updating whenever I can as I'll probably be busy with my studies and all. So, wish me luck! I'm a bit anxious about this so I hope I'll do well :')

Thank you to all my readers who are still there for me since day 1, you all are the best! And sorry that the story will take a while to be completed, I'll try my best to still work on it bcs I love it too much to just leave it like that 😭
