#was trying to trace my lineage back today to like before my great grandma and it’s so annoying that the Caribbean islands make it so hard to#access births and deaths etc online#the only way to see it is to actually go there in person#and even if I did it would be a whole pile of drama#the process would be so slow and long because they don’t like doing their jobs properly#been deeping recently that as much as I’m a proud Grenadian#my fam isn’t really from there#my great great grandma was from Aruba#but had to flee to Grenada#where she had my great grandma#not sure where my great grandmas dad was from#but Ik that her partner was from st Vincent#so again a non Grenadian#then my mom’s dad was half Korean#like lmao what’s going on#might do a dna test and see what’s up#wish I could get my great grandma to do one as well#would love to see her results
