Hi, uh is there any way to recolor the buildings in the actual town themselves? Mainly the community center?

Yes, you’d need to unpack the seasonal town xnbs (spring_town, summer_town, etc) found in the Content and Maps folders and edit the tile sheets.

Can I ask what files you edited to recolor your shipping bin?

Spring/Summer/Fall/Winter_Outdoor tile sheets for the base and cursors for the lid.

hi! i apologize if this has been asked before, but i downloaded your farm map and put the files where they belong and i have grass and logs and such in areas that i can't reach, like cliffs. i double checked that i had all the files. i don't know if this is a bug or something but i wasn't sure what to do! i also have the diversity mod in place, just in case that affects the other mod at all. thank you for your time!

It sounds like you’ve put the map in after starting a new game. You’ll need to either clear your map prior to putting a new one in, or start a new game with the new map in prior. Otherwise, you’ll get this issue with a lot of farm map edits. :)

For those using my farm map, I have just updated the file to 1.1. This fixes an issue with the outdoor spouse area not showing up. It now shows up correctly. :)

I have also added two optional files. One without the willow by the house and one without the willow, picnic area and flowerbed.

The rar file isn’t broken. I’ve had issues with opening peoples files myself in the past. Updating WinRar fixes the issue.

Aw, thank you! I extended the farm house tiles tilesheet downward (never extend a tilesheet horizontally or add anything above it!) and drew the towels, toiletries, hand towel, and toilet roll holder myself, as well as just a basic surface to put them on. :>

I ended up decorating my bathroom today after being inspired by Mi’s personal edits lately! I’m mostly using her assets with some of my own sprite work mixed in. :> (This is for personal use only, it won’t be released as a mod!) Also, I will be releasing my farm map soon. Probably around this weekend, for those waiting for it~

Thank you! It’s a custom tilesheet I made that changes with the seasons like the base outdoor tilesheets. When I release the map, it will be a feature. It’ll come with the custom tilesheet xnbs. :>

I did, yes. The picnic blanket has different things on it in spring and summer, changes to have the books on it in the fall, and in the winter it’s gone and replaced with some snowmen!

Hey I was just wondering what program you use to recolour buildings? I was trying to recolour some buildings using gimp but it was really tedious so I'm curious if you have a simpler way

I use Photoshop personally. For recolouring you can use the paint bucket tool. The only two tools I tend to use to recolour and do pixel art is the paint bucket and the pencil tools. Apart from that it’s fine tuning colours using Vibrance/Colour Balance/Hue/Saturation. Also I always have grids on, that way I know I’m not putting anything outside of where it will show in game.

I have so many changes in the outdoor and cursor tilesheets for my game for personal use I’m not sure I will. I don’t think I have vanilla outdoor tilesheets/cursors backed up anymore! :

I recoloured Ali’s witchy buildings and all farm building myself and decorated them all per season myself for use with seasonal immersion. I also have a different final house upgrade and have changed the mill and coops, but everything follows the same colour scheme and are seasonal (I wanted some variation). Not 100% sure if I’ll release them all. Maybe at some point! (with permissions!)

The shipping bin xnbs are the seasonal outdoor tile sheets (spring_outdoor, summer_outdoor etc), you’ll need to change the colour on all of those. The lid and animation for when you throw stuff in it is in the cursors xnb!
