anyway, +18 female looking for +18 partners!! i'm a semi literate to (lazy) novella roleplayer. i use both discord and tumblr, although i prefer discord jaja! my timezone is gtm-3.

the plots that i've looking for are:

1. nymph(me) x human(you) / any pairings, i can play the nymph as male, female, non binary, trans...

the plot is basically, your muse washed up on this island alongside their crew after making a god angry and them wrecking their ship. the crew find a community of nymphs that gladly take them in. your muse could be skeptical and stay away or they could accept their hospitality, either way, my muse is part of this community and has never seen a human before, so naturally, they're curious! and they had seemed to take an interest in your muse, watching them from afar...

2. siren x captain / i can play either role / any pairings, i can play as any gender/identity...

so, muse a is the captain of the ship, they are returning back from the war and everything is relatively okay... until they make a wrong turn and end up on siren-infested waters. now, something you must know about muse a, they recently lost their best friend/secret lover in battle, and has been mourning them in secret ever since. another thing, sirens take the form of the person you love the most, so when they finally realize there are sirens around, muse b -one of the sirens-, is already sitting on top of a rock, in the form of their beloved, singing to the captain.

somehow, muse a and their crew manage to fight off the sirens, but when muse a had to kill muse b, they simply couldn't... the resemblance was unbearable. so, they trapped them in a net and has kept the siren in their chambers ever since. muse a just really... really misses their loved one.

both plots can be mixed! they also can be used for double ups or used in a fandom (cough cough epic the musical cough cough- please cough cough)!!

nsfw and dead dove(🕊️) is okay with me! and almost preferred!!

okay so I’m not finding much about how to get to know me(so I can seem less scary and have ppl flock and want 2 be friends /j) thread thingy bobs on here so I’ll need to ponder about that.

I do have another blog but for me specifically ooc.. idk what those are called and I probably should’ve made this a side blog but I didn’t know how people felt about those and being followed from main.. so I did this instead. but I guess I’ll do it this way! hello hi hi, I am serena(moon), and I’ve been writing as usagi for the past three years and hopeful counting. my roleplay journey started when I saw a frozen rp on my timeline in 2014. then I decided to write as a lion cub and made a wolf oc. I miss writing as them a lot, actually. nostalgic. and usagi has just taken that place of a wonderful muse that I can constantly come up with new things for. I will never get tired of writing her and hopefully giving her better love interests down the line.

and growing up I’ve always gravitated towards fantasy with romance in it, and really.. anything with romance. it’s like candy to me and I enjoy writing romance, it makes me so happy.

I do ask other usagi writers to not interact with me on their usagi, just my personal preference and nothing to do with you personally! I’ve just had too many awful experiences with doubles interacting.

I can't drive/don't work/couldn't attend college so l do ask you to mind yourself with asking and to stop(politely). It's upsetting to have to keep telling people "no" and having to explain my medical situation every time. scoliosis, spina bifida, missing ribs, and chronic knee pain. I can walk but if I say.. go to the mall/a convention for a few hours but I’ll be regretting it the next few days my body is in pain.

I also suspect I have adhd as well as autism, so please explain things clearly to me to prevent misunderstandings. if you do not, I just get pissed off because you aren't explaining what you mean to its full extent. do not tell me cryptic jokes, if you aren't going to explain.

I love disney, dreamworks stuff, I play otome, skyrim, witcher 3 specifically, pokémon, fire emblem, ocarina of time, and probably more but I’m flat lining.

I do love reading. no matter if it’s books(including romantasy and monster romance🥺), light novels, manga, comics, anything I can read.

love the jurassic park movies(all of them, yes I’m probably rare), I love all Star Wars media(I’m not picky), but I don’t really watch things much anymore because I have focus issues to where sometimes I just.. can’t focus enough to watch something and feel restless while I’m better at reading it if that is an option for it.

this is a question for the blog runner and followers... but does the rp community feel quieter than it used too? I remember 2012-2016 to be the most busy years in the rp community I can remember. it feels like it's quieter now, less roleplayers, tho that could perhaps be certain fandoms just getting quieter. but i guess I just feel sad bc I always believed our community would always have lots and lots of people. I feel like social media has resulted in less people being aware of the rp communities that exist on different places. but i also realize more people have moved to discord and other platforms. i guess i just miss how bustling the rp community felt in the early 2010s

To start, this blog (and many similar to it) still receives a lot of traction. Never has a day gone by without new posts in my ask box.

That being said, here is my experience as a 23-year-old roleplayer. Everyone, feel free to comment yours below!

The vast majority of asks are from adults. Very few minors post here (I appreciate you all, though, and try my best to make RPF a safe environment).

I'm no longer interested in most of the fandoms people request. Heck, I don't even recognize some. The media I enjoy and have been writing for years is just not popular anymore.

It seems like (and I have zero proof, by the way; this is only speculation) younger roleplayers prefer A.I. Well, maybe they don't prefer it, but that was never an option before. This could be diluting our community?

And yes, Discord is currently an extremely common platform to RP on. Just go on Disboard and search any popular RP tag; they're updating every single minute!

Anyway, I think roleplay will continue to thrive! Like every hobby/community, though, it's everchanging.

miss ma'am is 29 and has no idea what she wants to do in life. she doesn't know shit about fuck. she's paralyzed by indecision and making the wrong choice so she just...doesn't do anything.

her power has helped her, at least, have a career that keeps her from being on the street or completely poor. without her job as a personal trainer she'd have nothing as she doesn't have a support system. her dad was an abusive alcoholic and her mom loved her and did her best but never got them out of the situation so as soon as jihye was able she disappeared into the wind.

if you knew her prior to her turning 20, when she was im nari, no you didn't. she doesn't acknowledge her past or who she used to be and if you call her nari, she'll gaslight you to hell and back.

she has the same power as her dad, which is its own can of worms that she's not addressing or getting help for.

she really did move into the apartment for a washer and dryer because she hates the laundry mat and would sooner yeet herself from a building then sit in one for hours again.

sis can't be serious for more than 20 consecutive seconds without panicking and making a joke or immediately disengaging. she doesn't do conflict.

she's been in the apartments for 4 years and is probably still a stranger to most because she sleeps weird hours and is always operating on gremlin time.

she's always eating junk and subsisting on cigarettes and energy drinks.

she's got a good heart but she's just constantly overwhelmed by everything and was never given good coping mechanisms. hoping we can find her someone in the rp that can help her move past her crippling indecisiveness and actually grow.

plot ideas:

obviously because I said she can't deal with anyone who knew her before she moved and changed her identity, we have to have that. maybe childhood best friends and your muse is like, "no, I definitely know you. you do the same thing with your lip she did." and it's just some tom and jerry tomfoolery until she breaks.

a love interest (m/f/nb/etc) that things seemed incredibly serious with until miss jihye blew it up and ditched. the thought of anything serious would terrify her and I'm sure the aftershock of her actions would be fun to rp. I love angst and drama and slow burn so pls give me this?!!

a new bestie. you see this weird chick who's existing on cigarettes and monster and you're 98% sure you've never seen her come in with groceries?? how is she even alive?? and your muse kind of takes it upon themselves to look after her, for whatever reason. at first jihye is skeptical but she comes to enjoy your muse's presence and before she knows it, she's gotten too close and has a new bestie she refuses to let go of.

okay listen. she's never cruel or mean outright, ever, but she is kind of oblivious and her inability to treat anything with the respect it deserves or requires could definitely rub someone the wrong way. I could definitely see someone in the apartments thinking she's thoughtless and rude because of her level of self involvement and not really being used to thinking of others.

her savior. your muse agreed she could use their washer and dryer, whether through constant badgering or the kindness of their heart. jihye brings snacks, booze, cigarettes-- whichever your muse prefers in payment. she's not good at being sociable but your muse can see she's really trying her best despite the awkwardness.

someone jihye flirts with constantly. she's good at smooth talking and chatting people up and is often very forward. your muse has caught her eye. we can plot whether things get more serious or it's just a playful back and forth or just jihye being a greaseball before it grows into a friendship or something else?

hwang saerin, 23, gymnast, the legend skeleton

comes from a wealthy family that has gymnastics in their blood, father is a former gymnastic olympian who was not able to medal and mother is a coach ( those who can't, coach, right? ) so as soon as she showed an inkling of an ability at tumbling their hopes and dreams were immediately pushed upon her

which for the most part was fine, because she didn't know any better

parents threw their wealth to get her the best everything, coaches / gyms, training, on call sports medicine doctors ⏤ you name it, she got it

and tbh it actually paid off! a natural ability plus hard work and money is an unbeatable combo it seems. she wasn't simone biles type of dominant but she had a grace and power that was unmatched, and wasn't afraid to push herself to the limit, and was able to rack up golds and medals wherever she went. quite literally poised to be the next big thing

she was known for her prowess but also for her attitude as well; got used to getting golds that when she didn't

enough so that she made her international senior debut at 17, then was recruited for the national team at 19. the 2020 olympics was supposed to be her debut. key word being supposed.

despite her immense talent, she always had doubts and somewhat of an imposter syndrome that she never talked about and pushed into the crevices; but the closer it got to the olympics the harder it got to push those thoughts away. it affected her enough that she started getting the twisties. and unfortunately, you can't throw money at this type of problem to make it go away.

the worse she performs, the worse her parents relationship gets ⏤ not that it was great to begin with, but anyway. one month before the olympics, she gets two bombs dropped upon her during a three way argument with her parents: her mom was having an affair with her current coach, and she was adopted. so you can imagine that her mental health went from bad to absolute shit at this point

she makes attempts to push through because the team is pretty much at tokyo at this point, but it's affecting her too much. before they could tell her that an alternate was going in her place because her bad performance was getting dangerous, she disappears from the olympic village two weeks before the opening ceremonies. doesn't tell anyone, just catches the next flight out of tokyo to ibiza. no plans, no thoughts, just vibes.

of course the team alerts her parents that she's gone and she does contact them, but saerin says she's done. no more gymnastics, too much shit has gone down for her to even get in the right mindset to compete anymore. eventually comes back to korea, and gets diagnosed with generalized anxiety disorder which helps her situation ( it does not )

anyway her parents aren't completely heartless and do feel like shit, they do have a talk with her and let her be considering she's 20 and hasn't had a chance at a normal life.

but uh ... you can imagine how reckless a girl who hasn't had to face any consequences could be when the shackles are off her feet and the world is now her oyster lol. she lays low and spends more time traveling than anything and stays tf away from anything sports related. anyway one time a party with socialites got a little too rowdy and she had a little too much to drink which ended up with her getting into a scuffle and with a battery charge.

she expects her parents to get her out of it ( wouldn't be the first time ), but instead they tell her to go to jail or bring home a gold. she thinks about jail for two seconds but decides to put the shackles on once again when they tell her that all they ask is to bring home a gold and they won't ask her to do gymnastics ever again. a fair deal with that, she thinks.

she's 21 then, so it does take some time for her to get back into competing shape, but not as long as she originally thought it would. she's back on the national team in no time. physically, the time off has done her well. mentally? we'll see.

personality wise ⏤

aries sun, aries moon, capricorn rising. "you think i'm a bitch? well you're not that wrong."

she's not here to make friends, just here to do her damn routines, get a medal and fucking go

i feel like if you knew her prior to olympic debut she was less angry. kept to herself still but more starry eyed and pliant. now? since she's had the taste of freedom, to go back into the rigidity that is gymnastics is hard. not sure if she wants to get used to it.

openly confrontational. her dialogue is straightforward and blunt, one of those people who thinks "being real" is above everything. "i said what i said" vibes.

ambitious, but also impulsive and reckless. spoiled and independent? self absorbed. you get the point.

but like i said before she knows she can't come in guns blazing and fuck the world, so she is playing nice to be a part of the team. if you're not a threat, then she can seem aloof. if you are, then she's passive aggressive.

this is all a shield for her anxiety. when it gets bad she lashes out.

but she's not all bad, i promise! if you're able to befriend her then you've got a bull in your corner. she'll fight your battles for you. tbh show her any ounce of love and she'll grab on the point that she stifles it. in her own way?

phew! almost done i promise! onto some plots off the top of my head ⏤

enemies / rivals ⏤ while yeah there's the legacy, i imagine with her personality she's got a lot of people that's not in her corner, and i think it would be fun to play out!

biological siblings ⏤ i mentioned in the bio that she found out she's adopted, but i forgot to mention that she did find her biological family during her 2 years away from gymnastics. it'd be super interesting if her sibling was on the national team too! obviously more plotting needed as this can go several ways.

ride or die ⏤ she's in need of at least one ( 1 ) good friend. someone she'd fight for, y'know? would be even more interesting ( but not required ) if they were opposite in personality too. opposites attract!

sneaky link or toxic rls ⏤ idk, on and off rls, friends w benefits, or something of the sort. girl is high strung and is need of a release that's legal and won't wreck her body. or it could, wink wink. she's bisexual, by the way!

1. what’s the best thing about shipping for you?

It's hard to say! There are so many great things about shipping! But I think it may just be delving deep into the characters' feelings. Often, people may behave differently toward those they are in love with. I feel that in ships, you can view a side of a character that isn't often seen. Like Jin may be more affectionate and more willing to make physical contact with a lover than he will with a friend. They may know stuff about each other than nobody else does. And we get to see just how far the characters will go for their lovers. I just think it's a great opportunity to flesh out two characters.

It's also interesting for Devil, because he used to be somebody who couldn't really love anyone. So, it's a new experience for him!

18. is there a ship you used to like, but not anymore?

I'm trying to think but... I don't think there really is? Usually it's rare for me to start disliking a ship I've enjoyed. I guess the closest thing to this would be that I used to consider the idea of Jin & Julia (they have stuff in common!) But I pushed that aside in favor for Jun & Michelle. Dunno why! But I just prefer the moms together lol

20. is there a ship you wanted to play, but couldn’t yet?

EEEEEYAHHHH!! As I said, I do have a soft spot for the Jin & Alisa ship, so I would not mind trying that one out!!! I also have a super secret soft spot for the Jin & Miguel ship! Y'know, it's not as toxic in MY portrayal 'cos Jin isn't actually responsible for the sister's death. But y'know, the guy who did get her killed still exists within him... so that would make things AWKWARD. Anyway, I like the Jin & Miguel ship just because it seems Jin has a thing for the hot-headed aggressive guys. And well... also just look at how TALL and HANDSOME he is! I thiiiiink those are the only ships I haven't really gotten to play yet? I'll probs get to play 'em eventually, tho! Frick, it took over a year for me to get a Xiao & Hwoarang to ship with!

22. is there any ship you will likely never play? (apart from the obvious in/cest, pe/dophilia etc, i want to believe you guys are Good)

Hmm. I think I'm pretty lenient on who I ship Jin with - like I'm VERY easygoing when it comes to writing ships! Hell, somebody could be like "do you wanna ship?" and I'll be like "SURE!" But I do have some dealbreakers, or more so, Jin has some dealbreakers. Like for example, I don't mind the Nina & Jin ship (I don't ship it but it's not something I dislike) but... I just don't see Jin dating an assassin. I see him dating a former assassin who now wants to make amends. But he's not going to date somebody who's still actively hurting or killing people. So like, that means Anna is also off the plate! I also don't see Jin with Marduk or Ganryu either luls. And obviously, Jin would never date Ogre for obvious reasons lol. He wouldn't date Azazel either. But honestly, I don't think those two are capable of romance.

Devil, on the other hand - I feel like there would be a lot more ships I'd be willing to do with him, but it also depends on the timeline. I'd joke that pre-purified Devil would go after Ogre, and he may! But Jin's hatred for Ogre is too strong, and thus, it influences Devil to be furious with Ogre. Devil, would however, go after Marduk - purified and not purified unfortunately. Like Jin though, he wouldn't be interested in Ganryu.

28. would you play a “bitter exes” relationship?

The funny thing is that out of all the years I've been RPing (11 years now...) I have never written a breakup with mine & my partner's muses, I've never written exes before. Isn't that weird? I always thought I'd get breakup threads 'cos I happen to frequently write problematic muses. (Like Devil - villains. Or if not villains, then morally gray / anti-heroes) Yet... nothing ever happens! The only time I wrote a breakup was in private discord RPs (back when I used to do those) and they got back together anyway lol.

But I wouldn't mind doing a bitter exes relationship! Though... I'm not sure how bitter Jin would be. I think Jin would only be very bitter if the relationship ended due to betrayal. But I'm not so sure 'cos I never had the opportunity!

Devil, on the other hand, would be a very bitter ex no matter how the relationship ended. Just because Devil, even after purification, is a jealous and possessive man. He may not be as aggressive about it as he once was, but he still feels those two emotions, and he still has to cope with them.

The Traveler: Lolly is well-known to travel, and very rarely is kept to one place. She meets many different people upon her travels throughout the realm, and is partial to talking to many different people in the places she visits, to learn more about the culture and history of different places in which she's never visited.

A new search for rp friends!

I decided that it's high time I make a blog SPECIFICALLY for writing, since I do so much of it. It seems odd to have my fandom/regular blog or one of my aesthetic or resource blogs have RP searches run through it... and there hasn't been much success for me doing it that way either. I figure, heck, when I get the writing itch and decide to put together a blurb, be it fiction or nonfiction, I can slap it in this bad boy and label it as a sample or something. Aaaand.... Freddie actually comes from a fairly affluent family and her parents are proud of her (they just kind of overlook a lot of the less savory things she does).

Bisexual in the sense that she doesn’t care about/isn’t repulsed by sleeping with men, as it was implied with Zeller. This is especially true if it means getting what she wants for an article (she’s canonically Machiavellian), but I definitely see her as homoromantic. She may have a fling with a man, but it will never be serious and she won’t grow attached, even if it’s just for fun and not as some means to an end. Though the likelihood of that in itself is low.

Please understand that I often struggle with burnout and extreme fatigue, as well as other symptoms stemming from ADHD. Therefore, there will be times when I write more and times that I write less. I also might find it easier to work on one thing over another at a given time, but that doesn't mean I don’t value the partner or the RP I’m not working on. If this doesn't work for you, that’s totally understandable, just please don’t start writing with me if this is something you think will be a problem. That wouldn’t be fair to either of us.

On that same note, please be aware that I will not be writing page-long+ replies. Some of my starters/replies may be longer than others, but I generally write two or three paragraphs. If you’re looking for someone who writes lengthy replies, I’m not your guy. Realistically, I also know I wouldn’t be able to read those lengthy posts, so it wouldn’t be fair to you, either.

Despite not writing ultra lengthy replies, I do put a lot of thought and effort into them. I’ve been made aware that some people have started to use AI generated responses in RP (what a time to be alive). This is a hard no from me. I may take a while to respond, but when I do, I do so to the best of my abilities. I’d hope my partners do the same.

I will only accept “pre-established relationship” OCs (i.e. your character is the romantic interest/mortal enemy/childhood best friend/etc. of my muse) on a case-by-case basis. experience / how many years : i don't want to talk abt it... jk, i started in 2005 i believe? on myspace mainly and i lurked a few message boards back in the day but never actually used them. i wasn't always roleplaying though, i'd often take long breaks throughout the years, sometimes for months, but it's been a part of my life for a long time! after myspace shut down, i went on to roleplayer.me until 2015 when one day i saw an rpg promo in devon bostick's tag (that name's a blast from the past, i know) and i subsequently made the permanent switch to tumblr :) so you can pretty much consider me a veteran around these parts. i remember the days when people used the cast of one tree hill when it was actually currently airing as fcs (or playbys, as we called them) and every third muse was named seraphina!!!

best experience : i think one of the best times i had on here was during christmas 2015 in the rpg hell state bc it was very active and i had a lot of good storylines going! the best time i had on rp.me was the group verse i had for a knockoff of terra nova called alia terra, which i actually made into an rpg on here and then made a closed verse between lucia and i so we could continue some dino fun! but i did it on rp.me shortly before i made the switch to tumblr so i kinda roll that all into one. i mean don't get me wrong i've had some great experiences on here, and lately have been having an amazing time with my writing partners, new and old, but those two are events that stick out in my mind. and also meeting lucia in 2015 duhhh of course!!!!!!!

fluff, angst, or smut : if i could crush up angst and snort it i would. i don't write smut (just a personal choice, not a judgment!) and fluff doesn't really interest me unless there's an undercurrent of angst or toxicity lmaooo, but i'm mostly interested in genre fiction like horror/slasher or sci-fi anyway and angst is kind of a package deal with those topics

plots or memes : i like to start with a general idea and then just kinda improvise. i also don't mind having structed plot points like going from a > b > c but having the freedom to do what we want in between those points. i also have absolutely no issue with changing or adding things as we go along! i'm basically very hype for anything

long or short replies : i'm a wordy bitch! when it comes to replies, i tend to stick with 2-4 for my 'shorter' threads but i have no issue getting up to 5-9 paragraphs if i'm really feeling something. no worries about matching length, btw, as long as it's not egregious like getting a few sentences in response when i wrote you four paragraphs, because i feel that's just rude. i also tend to start out small and get bigger as we go on, since i do like to begin with a general idea and add on from there

time to write : so before i started my current job, i only wrote at night because writing when the sun was up seemed morally wrong lmfao. nowadays, i sometimes write my replies at work on my google drive and then edit/format them once i get home, but that's only when i work alone and it's not super busy, and i actually have writing muse for that day. after work, i'll get on after midnight since i don't get home until late and need to put on my jammies, take off my makeup, eat dinner, and watch some tv. even on my days off, i most likely won't get on until late in the night because my family actually has the audacity to want to see me during the daylight hours 🙄

Plot ideas

Castiel doesn’t mean to get dragged in to his new neighbor’s business. He really doesn’t. He’s only been in Lawrence for the last week, so drama isn’t ideal. But neither is the way his neighbor is shouting at someone in the drive way at two am, threatening to wake up Cas’ son Jack. When Cas goes to investigate, he meets Dean who is apparently in the middle of a nasty divorce with his soon to be ex-husband Benny who doesn’t seem to get the picture that it’s over. He doesn’t mean to get pulled in to it and he certainly doesn’t mean to fall for a man who’s just getting out of a clearly toxic relationship. Spoiler alert: he does anyway.

Taking over Singer Salvage Yard wasn’t exactly what Dean pictured for his life, but Bobby was more of a father to him than his actual father, so when he leaves the place to Dean, he can’t say no. It’s a pretty good gig all things considered, but what he isn’t expecting is to find a damn robot in the back of a truck he was about to strip for parts. Or the way the robot’s blue eyes spark to life when he touches it.

Getting Cas back from the empty had come at a price, namely offering up part of Dean’s soul to connect them together. Dealing with the consequences of that would have been awkward enough without any additional side effects. Unfortunately, the Empty hasn’t completely lost its hold on Cas as he has no memories of his time with the Winchesters.

Dean has been on scent blockers since he presented as an omega a long time ago. He has no interest in finding his mate after how much it tore his father apart to lose his. experience / how many years: too many. rping off and on since i was 13/14 but didn't end up on tumblr side of rp till i was like 18 and its been quite awhile since then.

best experience : 2015-2017ish, had a good group of partners that also interacted a lot ooc and did indie groups together and watched movies together on rabb.it and stuff. good times.

rp pet peeves : think we can all agree on godmodding without any kind of prior communication, rushing replies, passive aggression ooc

fluff, angst, or smut : i like them all but i feel like i tend to fall in to writing angsty by default but these days seems to lean smutty lately. could probably use more fluff.

plots or memes : plots. i think i tend to take more inspo from plots than memes. but i lowkey suck at plotting when there isn't a basis of chemistry naturally starting between muses or ooc between muns. i think i get better at plotting the more comfortable i am with someone and like i know you're interested yknow. (hence why i also typically dont reach out first cause im a chronic overthinker and feel like i might be bothering you otherwise.)

long or short replies : short is great but i tend to ramble a fuck ton anyway like my answers here. i dont expect ppl to match length tho.

time to write : whenever i can lol usually more active at night.

for real tho, now that the markdown formatting seems fixed, and that a lot of the UI stuff I didn't love has been corrected as either easily-toggleable theme additions or actual site updates, i'm really coming around to it.

the prompt tagging/searching is still kinda awkward to me. I'm not really looking to pick up new RPs right now so I'm not as bothered about it as some other folks are, but it seems like there's a pretty thoughtful framework under there (i really like the idea of assigning prioritization to blocked/whitelisted tags, which is great for my method of blocking literally everything and whitelisting "No Fandom" and the handful of fandoms I like, considering that folks just. insist on tagging their Homestuck prompts with "No Fandom" and like 10 other fandoms so if you have any of them whitelisted you still see freaking Homestuck prompts all day every day aaagggh) and once they get the UI sorted I think it will be a very good and thorough system

I LOVE THEMES. it's really making me nostalgic for the old days of internet where bashing together amateur code to customize your page was such a big part of the user experience. i hope to see an implementation of some features for users to share their themes on the site in the future.

anyway i just wanted to say some nice things amidst all the grousing and grumbling. not that the grousing and grumbling is entirely unwarranted, I'm still figuring it out and there are a lot of things I might have done differently

BUT overall I gotta say this community has managed to cultivate a lot of the types of people I like RPing with (of which I was solidly reminded when I went hunting for RP on discord/forums during the downtime) and I think the new filter system and meta tagging will make it easier for us to find each other in the future.
