Toby was reading in his room one afternoon after work, humming to himself. He hadn't bothered to notice that his wolf ears and tail were visible, nor did he seem to care. He was more than happy to just relax where he was.

Pari on the other hand was trying to clean around the cats and she hadn't even noticed that he'd decided not to hide his canine ears or tail.

Although when she did finally notice, she was relieved that he felt comfortable enough not to have to hide himself.

However, the apartment wouldn't clean itself. She had work to do.

since the rescue, natalie's been trying her best to decipher how she really feels in between the ebbs and flows of overwhelming numbness and the all encompassing pain. the place she called 'home' was now emptier than ever. she often found herself wondering if her mother even noticed she was gone all that time. not that it even mattered. nat had been a victim of lost time long before the wilderness. she returned home with nothing more than her life, but at what cost? the price of survival was far too high and now she's being forced to deal with that. forced to find her way back to a reality she always felt disconnected to anyway. that desire for escape only deepening.

this was how she ended up on his doorstep; a desire to escape the loneliness. there was too much quiet from him and it hurt to think he was shutting her out. but maybe that was all in her head. the door came open ajar, and as she caught a glimpse of him her lips fluttered into a soft smile while her eyes were pleading to him. "travis i—" she got caught on the words. it felt as though there were nails scratching down her throat, begging for her not to sound desperate. for her to not let on just how much she needed him. but she did, maybe even more so now that they'd been rescued. no, definitely more. "i don't— i don't have anywhere else to go."

IT was always implied never said aloud - perhaps the bat never wanting to bring penny to the forethought of joker's thoughts. though , he could always feel her - unique in her presence. bone crushingly heavy as you felt something shift. wondering for a moment is she here now , is she looking upon them both ?

eyes look around current surroundings as he contemplates those very words. a storm rages on - half of gotham flickering in power as the storm makes for a beautiful backdrop. sokol an always constant curls up by JOKERS side - the wolf-dog eyeing THE BAT as if he sees through the youngest wayne.

gotham was carved out of grief , trauma , and horror. the city never offered a reprieve from storms. even now the glass is hit with winds that are brawny and mournful in nature. though they meet up because it's the best time to do so , the owls wouldn't dare venture out. the intel scrambled by a device that the batman now wears at certain times (tonight one of those nights , the storm helps. ) - can't make it seem like he's aware can he ? the court meant to be smarter , all knowing.

the warehouse is down by the bay , or should we say what's left it. a boneyard as bodies bobbed upon waters , and the stench was never quelled. the waters are prone to making one lachrymose if you stay too long. the faint cries of all those lives lost , and for a reason that never had any sense behind it.

' disgust sits upon tongue as the 'her' is said with deep hatred - rage boils beneath. what the bat needs to know if penny's memory has been USED against him , others who have WEAPONIZED it. ' there's a line that some shouldn't cross , though ? gotham and compassion never go hand in hand ' his eyes lift to the windows as the bay can faintly be seen. boats rock against one another - the sound rhythmic.

this is a poster i made for my call to action assignment in humanities! it's a bunch of basic and easy stretches for people who sit and work at a desk all day (me)

the idea is that you'd put the poster up above ur desk and do the stretches every 30 minutes or so,, the whole routine won't take more than about 6 minutes to complete and when done regularly it can prevent wrist, shoulder, neck and back pain! :)

all these stretches can be done while sitting (although i HIGHLY recommend you stand up and move around while taking a break from working)
