Cat hybrid reader going through her first heat after taking heat suppresent pills all her life with werewolf husband(NSFW obv). This sounds kinda cute in my head.... I can't explain it.... Like getting married and then finally deciding that you want to let yourself go through a natural process which you were suppressing all your life.
Happy 5k! If this isn't something you'll write, I am sorry, please do not block me, I can't tell if this is following the rules or not.
Your husband held your hand as you started the morning without taking your heat suppressant pill for the first time.
You wanted to have kittens with him so badly, and he wanted to fuck you full of pups, so the two of you decided that it was beast for you to temporarily stop taking them so you could mate properly.
“You think it’ll be okay?” he asked, his thumb rubbing the back of your hand.
You frowned, leaning against him. “I’m not sure… it’ll take a few days for the suppressant to leave my system. I’ll find out then…”
And find out you did.
Your husband returned home after a long day of work, only for his cock to immediately strain against his pants when he picked up the smell of your heat. He could hear your desperate little mews from the bedroom, walking in to see you crying and begging for release.
You had never felt such an ache in your cunt, and had never really felt the urge to masturbate so you had no idea what to do. He watched you struggle to finger yourself and play with your clit, your pretty kitty tail rubbing against your fat, wet pussy.
“Poor baby, can’t even make herself cum…”
He fucked his fingers into you, making your back arch. “Mmph! P-please, need more!”
You panted, your body feeling like it was on fire. His fingers were a little help, but it was like throwing a bucket of water on a house fire.
You needed more.
“Shh, sweetheart. Gotta stretch you out, okay? Can you be my good girl and wait for me?”
He moved his fingers in a scissoring motion, trying his best to stretch you out as quickly as possible.
You nearly lost it when you felt him kiss your inner thigh, his lips moving to your fat pussy. He licked your clit, sucking on it as his fingers kept fucking into you.
After a few moments you cried out, cumming on his fingers and writhing on the bed. Orgasming while in heat was like nothing you’d ever felt before!
Your entire body spasmed as he pulled out his fingers from your aching pussy with a wet squelch. It took him a second to compose himself, watching your pussy ooze. There was a mess under your hips already, and your scent alone was driving him insane!
He already towered over you, but now he seemed to loom over your body like a predator ready to pounce on its prey.
He rolled you onto your fat tummy, lifting your hips so he could properly mount you. By now, he was going off of pure instinct, ready to breed his fertile little mate.
“Mew…”
You let out a pathetic little meow as he sunk into you. The two of you had sex before, but now it was an entirely different experience.
The pleasure was multiplied tenfold, and he was so much more intense than he had been previously. “Wanna make puppies with you! W-wanna-!”
You buried your face into the pillow as he pounded your kitty cunt. His grip on your tail made you cry out, arching your back so he could reach you better.
Your hips and legs were easily lifted off the bed as he began using your fat pussy to get off, his mind fat gone. You didn’t mind, the feeling of him knotting you and filling your belly with cum over and over again was the only thing helping to calm the heat in your body.
The next day, your mate fussed over you, feeling terrible that he went overboard and lost control.
“I’m sorry, little one… your heat, it just-“
You butted your head against him affectionately, purring as he began to pet you.
“I think it’s what I needed… thank you for being with me for my first heat.”
“Of course… I’m your husband and mate, it’s my responsibility to take care of you.”
The two of you spent the morning cuddling in bed, soft purrs and loving mews filling the air.

did some force take you because i didn’t pray?
── aegon x fem!reader (you’re one of helaena’s lady’s in waiting)
the 2 times Aegon had someone there to comfort him
(i’m slightly changing things but just go with it pls)
small a/n before we begin: no use of y/n, i do my best to avoid descriptors BUT do use she / her and mention reader being shorter than aegon. when he hugs / holds you he is able to rest his head on yours. also i know everyone has titles and long names but to save time and also make it easier i just use first names. changing aegon’s rant just so im not word for word with the show.
also disclaimer: i know aegon is not a good person by any means! this is just the alternate reality version of him where things could turn out different if he’s shown genuine love and care
Tumblr media
For as long as you’ve known the Targaryen family, it dawns on you one day that you’ve never seen Aegon cry.
In the beginning, that didn’t mean much. You were one of Helaena’s ladies’ in waiting, and only ever saw the then prince on occasion.
Then Aegon was crowned King, and you saw him a bit more as Helaena was required to be present at what felt like too many ceremonies. Because you were almost exactly the same age, although it was against an unspoken rule, she came to see you as a friend.
When the twins were born and Helaena saw how good you were with them, it seemed to anyone who was around that she wanted you near at all times. She practically begged you to begin sleeping in her chambers to help with the fussing and crying at night, and of course you said yes. It occurred to you later that night that she could’ve just demanded it.
It wasn’t long at all before the twins also formed an attachment, as their mothers need to have you close by didn’t lessen even as they got older.
Though they both loved you, Jaehaerys in particular, was very fond of you. Jaehaera was a lot more independent and chose to play with her dolls or little trinkets by herself. But the boy, the other ladies’ in waiting and even Helaena herself, often called him your little shadow.
Whatever task you were given, it wasn’t uncommon for Jaehaerys to be nearby. As he grew a little older, he began to ask questions.
Once, he asked why his mother wore such fancy dresses, but yours and the rest of the ladies’ were only ever plain. It hadn’t occurred to you that because you spent so much time with him and had a big hand in raising him, he saw you as family and genuinely didn’t understand why you dressed differently.
Luckily, you didn’t need to answer. Aegon appeared from around the corner, calling for his son. Once Jaehaerys ran to him, he gave you a nod before grabbing his sons hand and leading him in the opposite direction.
To the King, you were a mystery. He knew his sister preferred you to the other ladies’ in waiting, and he knew she’d rather you over any of them to be looking after the twins when she was busy, but he didn’t know why. Still, his sister was set in her ways, and in the end he simply decided it was best to not ask questions. Even he could see that you cared deeply for his children, and for him that was enough.
On the day Aegon wished for his son to sit in on a council meeting, Jaehaerys was being a bit difficult that morning. For whatever reason, he refused to go unless it was you that escorted him.
After assuring him that you’d only get the boy in the room and then quickly make your exit, Aegon nodded and led the 2 of you into the room.
Just like you knew he would, Jaehaerys immediately went for “the ball” as he called it, in front of Tyland Lannister. You could see irritation immediately all over the man’s face, but to his credit he did his best to hide it.
The third time the ball was grabbed, you were the only one that heard it when Tyland snapped. The meeting hadn’t yet begun but you could see he already wished it to be over.
“That child doesn’t belong in here,” he muttered to himself, unaware that you could hear him.
“I will escort him to his mothers chambers now. Is the heir to the throne bothering you a bit too much?” That last bit slipped out, and you immediately regretted it as the room grew silent and all eyes turned to the 3 of you. After a few tense seconds, most everyone resumed their conversations.
You slowly stood up, Jaehaerys now on your back as that was the only way he agreed to leave the room. “Apologies Ser Lan—”
“Hold on,” the room stilled once again when it was Aegon that spoke this time. He looked at you, then back at Tyland. “She has nothing to apologize for. And I believe she asked you a question. Is the heir to the throne, my son, is he bothering you?”
Even Alicent opted to look down and fiddle with her hands rather than step in. You didn’t think you’d ever been more grateful for Aegon that in that moment.
🗡️🗡️🗡️🗡️🗡️🗡️🗡️🗡️🗡️🗡️
ONE.
On the night Jaehaerys was murdered, you were knocked unconscious. You’d later find out it was the man they called Blood that hurt you, but at the time all you knew / remembered was waking to a loud noise. Immediately you got out of bed, but before you could properly realize what was happening, you felt something sharp across your cheek. And before you’d even had time to cry out, something hard hit the side of your head, causing everything to go dark.
When you woke, you ignored the maesters requests to stay in bed. As soon as you stood up, you almost wished you’d listened as you immediately felt dizzy. That was also when you felt the stinging pain of the cut on your cheek. The maester explained that you wouldn’t need to have it stitched up, but he hadn’t yet bandaged you because even in your sleep, you tossed and turn whenever he tried to tend to that injury.
After agreeing to not over exert yourself, you were off to find Helaena. It was then that another one of the ladies’ in waiting broke the news to you.
When you were let in to Alicent’s chambers, and locked eyes with Helaena, she immediately stood up from her spot on the floor and ran to you, Jaehaera still held tightly in her arms.
“Are you alright?” You knew she would be with the maester if she were injured, but you still had to ask. “They said—”
“He’s dead,” was all Helaena could say. That and “they killed him”.
What felt like an eternity later, and you’d gotten Jaehaera to sleep and convinced Helaena to at least lay down with her, you were unsure of what to do. Only a few moments later, you found yourself wandering the halls. Every inch of the place had been searched almost immediately, so you know that the halls were alright once again.
Part of you felt like you didn’t have a right to mourn Jaehaerys, as he wasn’t actually your son. You were just trying to process the fact that you’d never see his little smile again. Never again would you turn a corner and be greeted with that sweet voice asking where the 2 of you were going, because him staying with anyone else was out of the question.
You were one of the first to hold him after he was born, and had seen him every day since. To already be in a world where he no longer existed, it seemed cruel.
When you stopped walking, you realized that you’d come to Aegon’s chambers. The doors were obviously closed, and you had only managed to take a few steps back the way you came, when you heard them open.
“Oh, good,” you turned around, surprised that it was Alicent that had spoken. “Did Helaena send you?”
You stuttered as you tried to form a response, but she seemed to take your silence as a confirmation.
“He’s distraught, obviously. I’m not sure he’ll speak to you but…” she seemed unsure of herself. In the end she sort of motioned towards the doors, before turning and walking away.
Before you even raised your hand to knock, you heard sobbing. It was then that you realized you were wrong. Yes, your heart could break even more.
It didn’t escape your notice that Alicent left the room as her son was sobbing. You knew she wasn’t the comforting type, but you couldn’t imagine simply walking the other way.
After a few knocks, you weren’t surprised when there was no answer. As you slowly opened the door, then shut it behind you, you thought to yourself that you should’ve thought about what to say beforehand. Here was this normally stone-faced man, showing more emotion now than he had in the entire time you’d known him. And after more thought, you realized that perhaps Alicent had tried to comfort him but was asked to leave.
“Who is there?” Aegon finally seemed to notice someone else’s presence, but hadn’t actually looked up. His head remained in his hands, and you could hear him trying to quiet his cries.
“I am sorry, I— I just thought I should check on you.” You noticed how pathetic you sounded only after the words left your mouth.
He let out a humorless chuckle, then slowly stood up and made his way towards you. “Check up on me?”
You nodded. “I just wanted to see how you were doing. Stupid question to ask if you’re okay, I know.”
He studied your face for a moment, and his guard came down ever so slightly. He believed your concern to be genuine. And for Gods sakes, his own mother couldn’t even comfort him. She left quietly and Aegon knew it was in the hopes that he wouldn’t know she’d ever entered the room.
Still, he couldn’t bring himself to answer you. Instead he returned to his sitting position, once again leaning forward so that his head was in his hands.
“I should’ve been there,” he spoke so softly that you didn’t quite hear him.
“Pardon?”
He looked up at you, fresh tears in his eyes. “I should’ve been there!” When he saw how you flinched, he regretted being so loud. But a larger part of him didn’t care. You were the first person to allow him to speak freely. He needed to let out his emotions somewhere. “I should have been there. But I thought who’d be stupid enough to try anything here? Look at how wrong I was.”
“There’s nothing you could’ve done,” you shook your head.
“That is bullshit!” He stood up and began pacing back and forth. “My son is DEAD! It was an act of revenge, why else do you think the rest of you were left alive?”
You were about to ask if they already know who is responsible, but it’s as if he read your mind.
“My brother kills her son, so she has taken it upon herself to exact revenge, a son for a son!” He laughs, but again there is no humor in his tone. “My son, the heir to the throne, he is gone. Murdered while he slept and I did nothing!”
As he sat crying, you kneeled in front of him. Trying not to think about it too much, you placed your hands on his and forced him to look at you.
“Everyone around knows how much you love that boy. And he loved you just as much.” You decided it was better to not repeat that he couldn’t have done anything. Right now in front of you, was a father who needed to grieve.
Aegon knew he should be cautious. His sister knew you well, but he did not. He was already ashamed that you’ve seen him cry. Yet you didn’t seem repulsed. You allowed him to rant and didn’t try to shove advice down his throat. His son was gone, but you reminded him of the love that existed, that still exists.
The angry part of him wanted to shout at you to leave, but he couldn’t bring himself to yell again in that moment. So he allowed your hands to remain on his as he cried for his son.
You prayed that no one would walk in, as you stood up and pulled Aegon up with you. Before he could ask what was happening, you gave him a hug.
His first instinct was again, one of anger. He resisted the brief urge to push you away. After a few seconds, he even surprised himself when he almost melted into your touch. He genuinely couldn’t remember the last time he was in someone else’s embrace like this. And you didn’t ask questions. You only held him and listened to his heartbeat.
He found himself crying again as he returned the gesture and wrapped his arms around you. Although he knew he could never speak of this, and he’d have to ask that you not do the same at some point, he allowed himself to do nothing but mourn the loss of his son as you held him in your arms, and you in his.
He was grateful that at least in this moment, you allowed him to grieve.
🗡️🗡️🗡️🗡️🗡️🗡️🗡️🗡️🗡️🗡️
TWO.
After that, there was a noticeable change. Aegon gravitated towards you if he entered a room and you were already there. Everyone noticed, but none dared to speak on the matter, not even Alicent or Otto.
You heard about the meeting in which it was ultimately decided that Jaehaerys’ body would be placed on a carriage led through the streets, so that the public might see just what Queen Rhaenyra was capable of. You didn’t think this was her doing. How could a mother who has just lost her son, inflict that pain onto someone else? Surely she wouldn’t. But everyone else was so sure. And you were but a low-born lady in waiting, so you remained silent.
The thought of Jaehaerys being used, paraded through the streets for all to gawk at, it angered you. Yes, he was a prince. And you understood the message that they hoped it would send, but it didn’t make you any less upset. He was just a boy. You thought of the boy who would run into your embrace whenever you walked in to his mothers chambers.
You couldn’t even imagine how Aegon was feeling. He loved that boy deeply, and you had no doubt that he was pressured into agreeing.
That same night, you were abruptly woken up. Immediately you looked to Helaena’s bed, filled with relief to see her and Jaehaera fast asleep. But it alarmed you that it was Ser Criston Cole of all people, who’d woken you up.
He put a finger to his lips, then turned and exited the room. You made sure you looked at least half decent before you followed him, wondering what on earth possessed him to wake you at such an hour.
“I—” He looked unsure of where to start.
“Has something happened?”
“It’s the King.” He didn’t wait for you to respond, instead turning and practically running out of the room.
As you chased after him, it did occur to you that it was odd for him to fetch the King’s sisters ladies’ in waiting. You also realized that he never technically responded when you asked if something happened.
When the 2 of you finally reached Aegon’s chambers, Criston didn’t even open the door. He didn’t need to though, you could hear the shouting and loud noises from outside.
“Who else is in there?” You fiddled with your hands, unsure of what you were walking into.
Criston merely shook his head. “No one. He kicked everyone out. But I know you helped him that— that night. Can you…?”
Without giving it a second thought, you nodded. Instead of leaving, Criston sort of stood guard right outside the door. You’d seen Aegon angry before, and were secretly relieved that he was outside should anything go wrong.
This time, you didn’t bother knocking. You did, however, try to open and then close the door as quietly as possible.
“I declare war!” It was the first thing you heard since entering the room, and you didn’t bother asking who he was declaring war on.
“My King —”
It was as if he was in a sort of angry trance. You speaking didn’t even cause him to look in your direction.
“I want them all dead! They’ll all pay for this, every fucking one of them!” As he spoke, he moved about the room destroying King Viserys’ carefully and meticulously constructed display.
You could see he needed to let his anger out. And didn’t exactly want to approach him while he held something that could hurt you. Not that he intentionally would, but seeing as he had no reaction to you calling out to him, you didn’t think it wise to sneak up on him.
As the smashing and destruction went on, you could see Aegon begin to wear himself out. It wasn’t so much that the anger was leaving his body, but rather that he was losing the energy to continue. Now, you thought to yourself, was a good time to gauge where he’s at mentally / emotionally.
“My King—” you tried again. This would be a moment you’d come to regret, seeing as you hadn’t considered the fact that Aegon was so blinded by his rage that he hadn’t noticed it was you in the room. Sure he heard the doors open and close, but he assumed it had been one of his men.
Not registering who it was that just spoke, and only hearing that someone was interrupting his rampage, he turned around with an arm swung out. It ended up being sort of a backhanded slap, and unfortunately he was wearing a ring.
Once he realized it was you that he’d just harmed, Aegon froze. His eyes widened and he immediately dropped to his knees.
“Are you hurt? Did I— did I…” He didn’t seem to know what he wanted to ask.
You put a hand to your cheek and examined your fingers, nothing a small amount of blood. He hit almost exactly where you were cut, and by the feel of it you guessed that his hit reopened the wound.
“It’s fine,” you tried to reassure him. “I am sure I will be healed in no time. There is no need—” Before you could finish speaking, he’d fled from the room, but not before hurriedly asking you to stay put.
Only a short while later he returned with the maester quickly following behind him.
As the man tended to your face, you could practically see the gears turning in his head as he debated on speaking. In the end, he decided to ask the question.
“How did you manage to reopen this wound?”
Luckily for you, you’d studied the room and had your answer prepared.
You pointed to a spot on the floor where a glass of wine lay spilt. “I slipped just there. Tried to steady myself and ended up landing on my face and cutting it with one of the broken pieces.”
Because you spoke immediately and with such confidence, your lie was believed.
“Might not heal as well if it’s opened a third time. Still doesn’t need stitches, just try not to fall again, eh?” He gave you a pat on the shoulder before giving you a small jar of ointment to apply to the cut, instructing you to apply it once a day.
As soon as the man left the room, you studied Aegon. He was pacing the entire time, only stopping once the maester had left.
“Why?” He whispered.
You knew what he was asking. “I did not think it would do any good for him to know the truth. I know you didn’t mean to,” you shrugged.
He was almost in a state of shock. Here he’d just injured you, accidentally, sure, but it was still done in anger. And it wasn’t that long ago that he broke down in front of you. Despite all of that, you were still kind to him. You covered for him.
Aegon fell to his knees once again in front of a large portion of the mess he created. “I’m sorry,” he spoke softly.
“My King you do not need to apologize. As I said, I know it wasn’t on purpose.”
He looked up at you, fresh tears in his eyes, and you lost count on how many times your heart broke for him. You joined him on the floor, and put what you hoped was a comforting hand on his shoulder.
“I can’t do anything right,” the first tear fell, but he didn’t bother wiping it away. “I allowed men to break in and murder my son, and this is twice now you’re hurt because of me.”
The fact that he blamed himself for it still, brought tears to your eyes as well.
“No one thinks this was your doing, and I swear to you that I don’t blame you.”
He was silent for a moment, deep in thought. “How am I meant to continue?”
His question caught you off guard. “Pardon?”
“My son is dead. Murdered, and my dear sister that claims to be the rightful heir may not have held the knife but I know she commanded the men that did. How am I supposed to to sit on the throne and continue to rule as if none of this has happened?”
“I do not think anyone expects you to act as if nothing has happened —”
Hearing that caused Aegon to laugh. “Have you met my mother? She is one of the many against me declaring war.”
“This tragedy —”
He cuts you off once again. “Tragedy? Hah! Understatement of the fucking year. And people are already speaking about my sons murder as if it’s a lesson! My grandfather, dear old Otto Hightower, wants to parade my sons body for all to see. Says it will show them the kind of Queen that Rhaenyra really is. You should’ve seen how many nodded their heads in agreement. How do I just hand him over to be stared at, as if he is no more than a piece of meat on display at the market?”
“I hate this,” you finally get a chance to speak. “Jaehaerys was the sweetest little boy I kno—knew. And I wish his death wasn’t being used in this way. A tragedy should not always be a lesson. Sometimes it should be allowed to be just that, a tragedy. I am truly sorry you are having to deal with all of this.”
Something about what you’ve said causes tears to spring to Aegon’s eyes. Perhaps it’s the way you speak so kindly of his son. He knows you genuinely loved the boy, after all. “I’m sorry, I’m sorry…” His quiet sobs begin as he echoes your use of those 2 words, and when you turned to face him, he practically falls into your embrace. You stop counting how many times he utters I’m sorry. In between the I’m sorry’s, he mostly said his sons name, but you heard your name as well as Helaena and Jaehaera’s.
Night turned into morning and Aegon finds himself in your arms once again. Eventually his sobs had slowed down, and he fell asleep, laying on the hard floor with his head in your lap.
As he slept, you allowed yourself to run your hands through his hair, just for a moment. Aegon let out a content sigh, finding comfort in your movements even in his sleep.
Here was this boy who was feared by many, who didn’t ever want anyone to see him as weak, and yet twice he allowed himself to cry and grieve in front of you.
At some point, you gently wake Aegon and convince him to get into bed.
As you take one last look at him before exiting his chambers, you can’t help but silently hope that the future would be a little kinder to him.

When Johnny asked Simon to come home with him on leave, he had never expected… this.
Johnny’s flat in Glasgow was a tiny thing, barely large enough to fit one, much less two massive soldiers. They made it work well enough, as long as neither of them minded being constantly wrapped up in each other, always within reach, and neither of them did. Their last mission had gone to hell in a heartbeat, and the 141 were lucky to be alive; Price had sent them all home on mandated medical leave, and Simon and Johnny were taking full advantage of the time off base to reacquaint themselves with each other being present and tangible and alive.
That didn’t change the fact, though, that his flat was only slightly larger than a postage stamp, which was fine for a few days, but he had sensed Simon getting antsy, feeling caged in, and had suggested visiting his parents for a couple of days, if only to get out of the house. It wouldn’t be any less oppressive—the MacTavish family was massive and overbearing on the best of days—but it would offer some reprieve from the near-constant contact and the stifling city.
Which was how Johnny found himself staring down at his lieutenant, his partner, curled up on his back on his parents’ couch, fast asleep, a green dinosaur stuffed animal clutched against his chest.
It didn’t look particularly comfortable; Simon was too tall, his legs too long, to be able to stretch out completely, so his knees were hiked up, his socked feet flat against the cushioned armrest. His neck was at an odd angle, resulting in his chin nearly touching his own shoulder, his unmasked cheek squished slightly where it was pressed against the leather. And the stuffed animal…
Johnny had bought it as a gift for one of his nephews, a toddling bairn who had struggled with nightmares, and the shopkeep who sold it to him had assured him that the little beads in the dinosaur’s tummy would provide enough weight to be a comfort without being dangerous. Evidently, his nephew had taken one look at Simon Riley and decided that the scarred soldier needed it more than he did.
Both of Simon’s arms were wrapped around the soft toy, squishing it against his chest, rising and falling with every slow, deep breath. He looked at peace in a way that Johnny hadn’t seen him look in a long time. They had spent the day surrounded by fussing family members and babbling children, their attentions split between warm homemade meals and whatever trinkets had caught the toddlers’ interest. Johnny would’ve felt bad; he was long used to his family’s antics, had grown up surrounded by siblings and cousins and extended relatives. But Simon had taken to it like a duck to water, effortlessly shifting focus from one person to another, treating each with equal sincerity and devotion, the same way he did in the field. It had been a delight to watch, especially when his mam and sisters had taken advantage of Simon’s distraction to shoot Johnny knowing glances.
“Gonna stand there all night, sergeant?”
Johnny startled, not enough to move, but enough to send his heart rate skyrocketing. He recovered quickly though, too well trained to do anything else. Simon hadn’t moved, hadn’t even opened his eyes, and it would’ve unnerved him if he hadn’t spent the last two years cementing himself as a permanent fixture in Simon’s life and, therefore, becoming incredibly used to his partner’s uncanny sense of perception. Even, apparently, while asleep.
“Just wonderin’ if Gaz’d ever believe me if I told him, sir.”
“Take a picture,” Simon grumbled, his voice deep with sleep. “It’ll last longer.”
Johnny snorted a quiet laugh, already imagining the look on his fellow sergeant’s face. He didn’t pull his phone out, though, just like Simon knew he wouldn’t. These moments were for the two of them alone, raw and bare and soft.
“Let’s go to bed, love,” he whispered, reaching out to run his hand through Simon’s hair. It was tangled from the grasping of tiny, fisted fingers throughout the day (Johnny’s nephews had never seen blond hair before and, as such, had been absolutely enraptured by Simon’s head of golden hair), and he didn’t mention the way Simon pushed into his hand, seeking touch and warmth like a cat. He also didn’t mention the way Simon continued to hug the stuffed animal to his chest as he unfurled his long legs, stretching slightly, his knees popping, before drawing himself up to his usual towering height. His eyes were half-lidded with sleep, soft in a way he rarely allowed himself to be, the green dinosaur tucked safely in his arms as he followed Johnny upstairs.
In a week, they will be back on base, back to their tactical gear and their sidearms and their razor-sharp focus. They will be shipped out to some foreign soil, either sweltering heat or numbing cold, either dry deserts or soaking rainforests, and blood will be spilled, probably their own, definitely their enemy’s. They will once again be hardened soldiers, products of war, and there will be no room for such softness. Which was why Johnny reveled in the way Simon curled around him now, in a bed two sizes too small for two muscular men, a warm blanket blocking out the worst of the Scottish chill, a green weighted dinosaur stuffed animal clutched in two massive arms against an equally massive chest.
He tucked his nose against the nape of his partner’s neck, one arm thrown over Simon’s hip, and drifted off to the quiet sound of breathing, of comfort, of peace.

Imagine tartaglia being your own personal toy maker. ;)
He'd love to test all his inventions on you, mostly in you.
One night you'd be taking a stroll with him through the harbor to find a place to eat, as night was falling fast. Before you enter the building, he's got you against a wall in an alleyway and his hand down your skirt, pushing your panties aside and inserting a controlled vibrator into you after you finally agree to his schemes. “Make sure this doesn’t fall out yeah” He said with a grin and quick kiss to the cheek.
You two made a bet before this, if you caved and demanded for him to take you home then you'd be filling in for his errands for 2 weeks.
A few minutes go by, and you're paranoid. Why hasn't he done anything yet? He's usually so eager? A few more minutes go by and it's time to order food, as you begin your order you feel a small vibration in between your legs, here we go.
It was bearable, and you didn't have any trouble ordering anything. You simply look at him and offer a smile.
"Anything wrong princess? You look a little stiff."
“Nope. I feel wonderf-“ As you reply to him you cut yourself off, you could feel a sudden increase in intensity.
Your entire chair was beginning to vibrate and your clit was throbbing at this point. You squeezed your legs so hard and your hands began to fist up, you look at his smug face in a pleased manner and he completely turns it off. Exhaling deeply as laughs.
"You're shaking sweetheart, do you need anything? Should I call the waiter?”
He knows exactly what he's doing, and you hate that it's turning you on so much.
Quickly after your food arrives, you enjoy your meal together without any fuss.
After the bill is paid you walk throughout the shops, heading up to the golden house as Tartaglia had unofficial business to conduct. At the shops, you spy some handmade glass artworks, and spent time looking at them. After deciding to purchase one and going up to the salesman's, you could feel small tingles.
Immediately after, it's all the way up again. One of your knees buck and you drop the money. You squat down to pick it up and the toy is pressing up against all your most sensitive areas, your knees shaking now. You pay for your product and your breathing intensely. You can't handle it anymore.
"Okay you win let's go.", you say, pulling him off to the patio of a nearby tea shop, clutching your bag.
He smirks, "what was that?"
"Tartaglia- take. me. home."
"Home? That's pretty far from here", he sits down on one of the chairs on the patio as the toy is still buzzing inside you.
"Turn it off then you've already won-!”
"Aw baby but it's so fun to see you squirm like this, how about I just give you what you want?"
Your eyes light up slightly, you can't let him see how happy you are or it'll just go to his head.
You nod, thinking he's agreeing to taking the two of you home but he's not moving?
"You don't want it now?"
Here? Now? You could hardly believe him. But the thought of it didn't turn you off, it did quite the opposite.
The toy in your pussy was driving your thoughts and before you could think you were sat on his lap, with your tongues twined. You could feel his hands gripping your thighs as he grinded you into his cock, you could feel how hard it was even through his clothes.
"If you really want it you'll have to show me."
You couldn't take it anymore.
You slipped off your panties and rubbed yourself on his thigh, rutting against him, your pussy was so wet he could feel it soaking his clothes. His hands reached towards your chest and pulled down your shirt, your breasts spring out as he plays with your nipples, watching your tits bounce as you ride his thigh.
"You really want me to fuck your guts huh baby?"
You nod and his hand finally slips down towards your sex, he licks his fingers and rubs your sore clit, you've already came a few times from the toy still left inside your hole.
He pulls you off his thigh and sets you on his lap, unbuckling his belt and you watch his cock grow even more. He slides his tip up and down your slit, pressing his head against your clit.
Finally, the toy is out of you, and not seconds later replaced by his huge cock.
He's bouncing you up on his member, suckling on your chest, watching you rub your clit.
"You look so sexy like this baby, I hope someone sees how perfect you look while I stuff you full."
You almost forgot you were in public, but it just made you more wet thinking about the risk.
Anyone could see you riding Tartaglia, but all you cared about was his cum filling you up.
You find him twitching his legs, furrowing his eyebrows as you suck his cock in, tightening around him as you get closer.
Not after long, he's rutting into you as you bounce and cursing so loud people might just hear. Your moans escape you as you try to hold back, but you end up just releasing on his dick, leaving a white rim at the base of his cock.
Seeing you fucked out and breathless sends him over the edge, he fucks his cum into your hole and you fall into his shoulder, as he breathes even faster.
Time to run errands for 2 weeks!

No more of this (Lando Norris)
Lando is trying to stop the hurt of loosing you by getting ahead of it and (trying to) leave you first
Note: english is not my first language. It's angsty but has a good ending! ✨️ I took a bit of a gamble with this one, and I'm hoping it is still a good enough piece to read! This was from a request for which I had another idea whilst I was writing this one, so I might work on it if this truly is a bad take on it!
Thank you so much to everyone who likes and reblogs, your feedback is appreciated 🤍 and I'm taking requests so if you have any ideas or concepts you want to share, feel free to do so as I'll try to get to them the best I can!
my masterlist
Cw: relationship troubles, miscommunication, anxiety symptoms, alludes to the passing of a family member and consequent inheritances

Lando wasn't sure how long he had been in the room on his own, but he knew he didn't have it in him to leave soon.
He thought he wasn't enough, he was too much trouble for anyone around him, that's why no one is there for him right now.
He grabbed his phone and swiped the screen to check if the texts he sent you had gone through, but the lack of an answer from your part was simply that.
Not even Y/N cares about him or what he needs. Maybe he didn't word it in the right away? Surely, Y/N would have replied by now if he had written it down properly and not appeared like a clingy, needy child. Maybe he could send another one, just to make sure it is all alright.
To lovie ✨️
I'm sorry if that was a lot, but I just wanted to know how your day had been! I love you, sweet girl 🧡
There, all better.
The McLaren driver waited for your answer, hoping to make ammends from his previous tries.
Maybe she's busy, she has so much on her plate as well. She can't take care of Lando too. Lando wonders what his girlfriend would do if she knew you felt like this. If she found him lying in a bed, unable to move and startled by the idea of facing the outside? She would leave him right then and there. Y/N can only take so much and she's not going to take this.
The tears that fell went unoticed until they pooled on the pillow cover fabric, wetting it and dampening Lando's cheek and jaw.
The weight on his chest lightened when his phone vibrated.
From lovie ✨️
I'm so sorry, Lan - my phone was on silent because of the meeting with the notary and I forgot to turn it back up 🤦‍♀️
It has been a busy couple of days with the signings and handovers, but I can already see the end of it!
And how was your day, bubs?
I miss you loads and can't wait to kiss your handsome face 🧡 I love you 💖
There it goes, that wasn't so bad, right? She replied - she's safe, she has a reason why and she wrote I love you. Maybe all of that fuss was for nothing.
Lando quickly typed back a reply, hitting the button to send after reading it a couple of times to ensure it was good.
To lovie ✨️
It's okay, sweet girl, you don't have to worry! It's been same old, had a training session with Jon and then worked on the sim.
Can't wait for you to be home soon, I love you so much ❤️
You replied, that was all he needed. Everything is back to normal, the heartbeat has slowed down, the weight on the chest had been lifted, and breathing wasn't so hard anymore.
For now, anyway.
The last two days had been fine, good even - Lando spent the afternoon playing padel with Max Verstappen, streaming with Quadrant and even played golf on his own, relief washing over him when, despite being on his own, his thoughts didn't take him to the dark side like he expected them to.
You had FaceTimed every night and exchanged texts in the morning so there hadn't been any reason to worry - until now anyway.
When Max and Pietra told you they were flying to Monaco to spend the week there, you decided to postpone leaving for two days and take the flight with them instead.
You'd have to have reached the realisation that Lando is not the best you can do. You couldn't possibly be that blind.
Y/N knows you're he's not good enough, she knows she deserves so much more and now that she has property back home and a safe ground, she'll leave him before he knows it.
It builds up again, his breathing short and laboured while his heart speeds up, his hands unconsciously retreating into themselves and making fists as his nails graze his palm.
You are going to leave him.
Not if Lando leaves you first.
"This isn't even the worst flight we've had", Max reasoned once you landed in Nice, "you're really feeling it, aren't you?", he nudged your shoulder.
"It's just been a busy couple of weeks", you sighed, looking for your luggage on the carrousel, "I'm so glad it's all dealt with now and I can finally be home again", you smil3d tiredly.
"You mean you can finally be with Lando again", Pietra teased you.
"Can you blame me, though? I miss him so much I'm not sure I can keep away from him for long once I hug him", you admitted, spotting the bright blue luggage on the conveyor belt.
"Lando just texted me saying he is by the informative screens", Max offered, grabbing his and Pietra's luggage and leaving the way out of the busy airport.
Once you spotted your boyfriend, you hastened your pace to approach him, leaving the luggage on the side so you could jump into his embrace.
"Hey, my love, I missed you so much", Lando held you impossibly tight to him, nipping on the skin of your neck and inhaling your scent.
Y/N is back, she's here.
"Me too, baby", you said, kissing his neck multiple times, "I'm so glad to be home", you mumbled, pulling a smile out of him before you kissed his lips.
"One could argue we are here too, but we're clearly not that important", Max joked, patting Lando's back where he could given that you were clinging to him like a koala.
"The car is in the -2 Parking zone", Lando offered, grabbing your luggage and walking behind his bestfriend and his girlfriend while keeping you close to him.
For now, this would have to suffice before things changed forever.
The whole drive back to Lando's apartment involved light chatter and catching up on the past few weeks.
"I think we should go out, enjoy some of the night life while you still can", Max slapped Lando's shoulder once you had settled in and unpacked.
"I can get us entrances", the Formula One driver agreed, grabbing his phone before he went through his contacts.
Once the entrances and the dinner reservations were secured, the four of you took turns in showering and getting ready, Lando never letting you leave his sight for long.
"You look beautiful, lovie", Lando complimented, watching your shake out the curls you had done on your hair.
"Thank you, bubs - you look really handsome too, I love it when you wear all black", you mused, taking his hand and kissing his knuckles gently.
It was all good. You didn't seem mad or upset with him, in the contrary actually - like he felt, you too were a bit needy for his touch and to have him close to you, offering him reassuring words and sweet nothings every time you could. Maybe his thoughts were a lie. Some of them have been, maybe those were too.
The dinner was lovely and you were able to walk to the club you'd be spending the night in, getting drinks first before finding the area you were staying in. Lando was quickly pulled by the DJ on the booth, recognising him from previous nights out, while you, Max and Pietra stayed where you were.
He was enjoying himself before he noticed you were chatting with someone else, remembering him from your friend's birthday.
He has a girlfriend who is Y/N's friend, Lando has nothing to worry about.
Until he does.
He doesn't miss the way you hug him or the way you engage in light chat with him, all smiles and cheers.
You deserve someone who is always there for you, who can be present and make you smile like that all the time, and he knows he's not the person for the job.
"I'm going back down to my group - thanks for the invite", Lando shook his hand before pulling the DJ for a quick hug, making his way to you and your friends.
"Hey, love, you're back!", you smiled with a big wave to beckon him over, lacing your hand in his as soon as you were close enough, "you remember Marvin, right?".
"Yes, hi, how are you?", he mused, shaking his hand before protectively placing his arm around your waist.
Marvin had to leave to go be with his friend group as since then, you noticed Lando seemed weird. He was usually the life of the party and he always enjoyed himself in these environments, so to see him just stand there and sway his head to the music was a foreign sight.
"Dance with me, baby", you put your back to his chest, letting his hand hold you by your waist still while you swayed your bodies.
"I love you, Y/N, never forget that", he mumbled spontaneously after a while, kissing your cheek multiple times before hiding your face in your neck.
"I love you too, Lan, so much", you replied back as that was the last clue that something was going on.
A couple hours later, and after you had been sat at the booth for quite a bit, you told Lando that you felt a little tired, Max and Pietra agreeing with you that all the travelling had caught up with you, so you made your way out and back to his apartment.
"Have a goodnight, guys", you waved as Max helped his girlfriend into the room, the blonde woman having already fallen asleep on the way.
"Are you feeling better, Y/N?", Lando wondered as he watched you put your heels back in their spot once you stepped inside your bedroom and closed the door behind you.
You debated telling him the truth, but your relationship has been built in honesty and trust about everything, so the course to take was obvious, "Actually", you began, "I am totally fine, but I noticed you weren't great, you didn't seem that happy and I thought we could talk about it , if you'd like", you suggested, "or we could sleep, I'm fine with either, but I hope you choose the one that makes you feel better", you smiled.
The smile quickly vanished when Lando got up from the bed, his body language tight and tense, "now you care about me? Now you want to know if I'm okay or if I'm doing what makes me happy? All after I felt like shit and had to deal with things on my own?", Lando mused, taking you aback with such words.
"Lando, baby, what do you mean with that?", you asked.
"You were here and I was there, and then I have been here while you've been back home and you haven't been there for me", Lando spat, "I just wanted you by my side, I needed you and you weren’t there for me", he concluded. The anger previously in his tone was replaced by sadness and a hint of shame even.
"Lando, it's not like I have been on vacation purposefully away from you - there have been matters that my family needed me to take care of as there wasn't anyone else to take that responsibility! I don't understand where this is coming from - if I wasn't with you it's because I really couldn't be there!", you argued.
"It's... I can't do this right now", Lando looked up as tears started brimming his eyes.
"It seems not", you defended yourself, feeling the hints of accusation and the lack of flexibility and empathy from your boyfriend, "excuse me", you offered, grabbing your pyjamas and leaving your shared bedroom.
The accusations you threw to one another were heard by your guests as Max looked for you while you adjusted the living room sofa so that it could turn into a single bed, not needing the full sized mattress since you'd be clearly sleeping alone.
"What are you doing here?", Max wondered.
"You don't need to pretend you didn't hear that", you shrugged your shoulders before wiping your cheeks with your thumb, pulling on the sheet so the corner wouldn't fly off during the night.
"I can't take the guest room when you are sleeping here, Y/N", Max offered, pulling your hand so you would get up.
"I'm fine, it's not like I'm counting on getting that much sleep", you mumbled, sitting down against the cushions.
"You two are going to sort it out", Max gulped, "you always do, Y/N", sitting down next to you.
"Do you think we will?", you muttered, the weight of the words leaving your mouth settling in the possibility, "did he tell you anything? I'm at a loss at where all of this has come from", you offered your perspective.
"You're Lando and Y/N - there is no way in this world that you don't make it work. You are meant to be, no matter whatever turn you took in your life or whatever decisions you could've taken differently, you and Lando were supposed to meet in every single one of them", Max comforted as he rubbed your back, letting you rest your head on his shoulder.
"Things are so messed up between us", you tutted at your boyfriend's earlier words and the disbelief that this was happening.
"Lando has been under a lot of pressure lately", Max offered, "I know his words hurt you and I'm certainly not justifying them, but he's... He just wants to be his best self for you, and between his family issues and this season's prospects, not having you with him there has shaken the foundation he thought was his steady self".
"I didn't notice it - yay for the bad girlfriend points!", you jokingly cheered before groaning, "I need out of this day".
"That's why you should go to the spare bedroom to sleep it off, Y/N", Max sternly said, "and you're not a bad girlfriend for this, not at all".
"I'm staying here, I told you", you stated, "you go and take that spare room, P is probably asleep on the bed already", you giggled, "I'll be fine".
"Tomorrow is a new day and a new opportunity for a fresh outlook of this whole situation", Max tapped his thighs before getting up, "Good night, Y/N".
"Good night, Max", you waved as he turned off the ceiling lights and closed the French doors that separated the living room from the dining room and the rest of the apartment.
Lando tossed and turned around for what felt like the hundredth time since he laid down on the mattress.
His words didn't come out the way he wanted them to.
But maybe it was for the best.
He didn't want to hurt you, and that is both a burden and a guilt that he will carry for the rest of his life.
She'll never forgive him. Not now that he's really shown how messed up and broken he is. How the playful, giggly boyfriend she was with is now a shell of a poor excuse of a man. He had been spending the nights alone since you were gone, but now that he knew you were - hopefully - still somewhere in the apartment and not next to him, the weight on his chest couldn't be heavier. It gets harder to breathe, and the thoughts don't stop.
He's lost the best person in his life because these insecurities got the best of him. Once again, he's letting them win and take charge of his life.
Lando sits up and holds the pillow you usually sleep with, trying to catch a small whiff of your scent that still lingers there and usually calms him down.
He's done something really bad. Maybe this was him. This was who he was nowadays and he was truly doing you the favour of letting you out before it got too bad.
When Lando wakes up after sleeping for what feels like a long nap, only Max is up as he steps into the kitchen.
"Morning", Lando muttered, not sure where to pick up from what he knows his bestfriend heard only a couple of hours ago.
"Morning, mate! P is feeling the hangover, so she'll be out for a while! Let's go on a run, it will do us both good", he put his hands on Lando's shoulders and patting them.
Lando groans and looks longingly at the living room, noticing the closed doors, wondering if you were still asleep.
Such an ass he is, letting his girlfriend sleep on the sofa.
Lando and Max run the usual distance, stopping to stretch at the little park area near his apartment, and because it's still early, there is no one else around but them and an older man walking his dog.
"Will you tell me what's going on with you and Y/N? Because by the looks of it, you really should talk to someone about it", Max stated. There wasn't a chance that Lando could run away from this, figuratively or literally, so he explained to his bestfriend what had been going on his mind.
"Do you think I am someone worthy of her? Y/N deserves so much better than me, so it's best if she leaves me first", Lando concluded.
"If she leaves you first, what?! Do you think it won't hurt you? Or her? Is that what this is all about?", Max argued, "you're seriously telling me that the only way you see a solution for this is to break up with her because you're so sure she wants to break up with you?! This is ridiculous, Lando!!".
"Of course it will hurt, Max! I love that girl with everything I have and I can't bear the thought of disappointing her, of her having less than she deserves, and I also can't even think about her leaving me! The anticipation that any moment she could say those words has been killing me!", he admitted outloud for the first time.
"Lando, that girl loves you with every bone of her body, do you really think she is going to break up with you?", Max sighed, "your mind is lying to you and it pains me to see the way it's doing it to you and the people around you".
"I'm not where I should be, these thoughts are consuming me left and right and I can't tell apart what is real and what my mind is catastrophising ", Lando agreed.
"Lando, people can't help you if you don't tell them you're feeling like that", Max stated, both sternly and empathetically, "and there are so many people that care about you".
They sit in silence in the bench as Lando ponders his words and Max replays them on his head.
"Is that what is going on in your head, though? That Y/N is going to leave you, and so you're getting ahead of it by breaking up with her?", Max mused.
"When you say it like that, it sounds so stupid and the opposite of what I want to do", Lando scoffed at himself, "but everything is aligned to it - she can do so much better for herself, and it's stupid I know, but my mind goes on and on about this and it almost never quietens down", he gulped.
"Y/N doesn't want to leave you, Lando, that's another lie you're telling yourself", Max offered, "she loves you and you deserve eachother because you're it, you're the endgame and you can work through this, but she needs to know".
"I know - sometimes I do anyway, I think", Lando chuckled lightly at his own joke, "we need to go home, I need to speak with Y/N".
"Indeed you do", Max agreed, getting up and following him to the apartment.
Pietra was already up and in the kitchen when the boys arrived, pecking her boyfriend's lips and looking at Lando, "Y/N's up, we have had breakfast and she went back to the living room while I was in the shower", she informed as Lando nodded.
"Can I come in?", Lando asked after knocking on the door.
"Yes, it's your apartment after all", you mused as he stepped inside
"No, Y/N", Lando groaned, "this is our place, my love, and there's something I need to tell you, many things in fact", he added.
"You should start then", you patted the spot next to the mattress where you had spent the night.
"I love you, Y/N, so much, that was never a question, and it was because I love you so much that every now and again, I have these thoughts that I'm not good enough for you, that I can't give you what you deserve and that you'd be better off with someone else, or without me", he took a big breath in, "I just wanted to be my best self for you, and it all comes crashing and building up and up and I can't shut the noise down".
"Lando, you could've told me, I would've helped, try to do my best in helping you so you weren't carrying this on your own", you offered, your hand crawling to his so you could hold it in yours.
"I hated that I needed you that much because you also have your own life and you don't want to be next to me every waking second. In my head, you shouldn't have to deal with me being needy of feeling like this", he admitted.
"And I'll be, I don't care what you need or say, Lando, I'm going to be here for you, I don't have to go back for a while now, so I'll be where you need me", you offered, "and, Lando, you could never be too much for me, you could never make me feel like I can do better because every day I thank my lucky stars that we're together and that you feel the same love I feel for you", you cupped his face, "you deserve so much, Lando Norris, and I'll work everyday to prove you that you're worthy of love and care and that things going on here are sometimes a lie", you kissed his forehead.
"I don't deserve having you, I yelled at you for no reason", Lando mumbled.
"There was a reason, and it would take me a lot more than you yelling at me when you're stressed and worried, but I'd also like to know whatever is happening when it is happening so I can help, or we can seek out professional help too", you rubbed his cheeks with your thumbs.
No one had ever fought for him like this. He's used to be the one to prove to people that they belong in his life and that's he's all in, not the other way around since, once every time his partners start to feel like it's too much once the honeymoon phase fades out and regular, day-to-day troubles show up notice it getting serious, they flee.
"We'll do this together, lovie", Lando muttered against your lips as he looked into your eyes, "I'm sorry I doubted you when in reality you are the one who's always stuck with me", he smiled, kissing your lips.

a/n I feel like we might need some good old fluffy fluff with a tiny bit of angst. So enjoy! Any sort of interaction is so so so appreciated!🤍🫧
summary: you're heavily pregnant but your medical assistant is needed in a close by town. Emotions run high and a little someone decides to make an appearance, just the timing is not ideal.
Can be read as a part two to A slice of paradise but this is a standalone
warnings: pregnancy, birth descriptions, complicated delivery, blood, yeah...
••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••
The kitchen was dim. The only source of light was the lamp that stood in the living room. The record player lightly filled the space with old tunes as you and Joel swayed in the middle of the kitchen. It was such a rear moment lately. There was so much going on that you two hardly spent time together. Well, now that Joel was refusing to do patrol, he was way more present and even more nagging on your pregnancy brain. Even if it came from the love that he felt for you and the baby, you wish he worried less. But then again, it was easier said than done.
Your arms were lazily draped over your lover's shoulders, head nestled into his chest. Joel's grip on your body was tender. Wearier of you falling by accident, so one of his hands was firmly supporting your back, the other lovingly cupping the side of your bump. As if he were including the babe in your little nighty dance as well. Humming the tune as you two twisted and turned. There was so much love at this moment. So much attentiveness. So much reassurance. That you were in this together. That evening was going to be okay.
Even in Jackson, it was scary to bring a baby into this world. It felt so fragile. In the beginning, it made you feel selfish that you even considered conceiving in circumstances like this. But then there was nothing more that you wanted. You wanted to make Joel a father again. Even if Ellie was your baby girl as it was. You just wanted to give him a chance to raise another one. Because you knew that the fatherly love that he had was endless.
"Sofie?", Joel muttered into the nothingness of the room, and you peeled your head off his chest, shaking your head, "No, no, that's what my neighbor back in Texas was called; she was a.. well, a whore". Joel chuckled slightly and said, "Okay, Sofie gets the chop then". This had been going on for some time now. You two didn't fuss about names at the beginning, but now that you could go into labor in a matter of days, it had become quite a headache. Ellie had presented you with lists of names for both genders. She was excited to become a sister. Well, when her doubts about actually being a part of this family didn't cloud her mind. In all honesty, Ellie's reaction to the news was way more positive than you imagined it to be. The last thing you wanted was for her to feel like she was suddenly losing her rights as your and Joel's daughter.
"What about Margo?", Joel said, hands resting on your sides now, as you two continued to sway. Something in your stomach almost flusters at the sound of that, and that sensation was quickly followed by a strong kick. Joel's face quickly turned into a pleased smirk. You opened your mouth, but Joel only shook his head, "You don't even have to answer darling, our baby girl agrees," you rolled your eyes at him, "You don't even know if it's a girl," "I do she just picked her name". His hands moved to lift the shirt you were wearing. One of Joel's shirts. Both for comfort and also because it smelled like him—that's what you told Joel when he first saw you in it. Plus, at this point, almost nothing fitted you. And not all occasions were fitting for a flowy dress, even if it made the bump look adorable.
Joel's tender findings rubbed your big bump, "You're a smart little one. You like Margo, Margo Miller, huh?" Joel's attention was fully on the baby now. A baby who was happily kicking inside your tummy. A baby that mostly only kicked for Joel. Already daddy's girl or boy. The bond they built was mind-blowing to you. But then again it didn't surprise you. Joel was by your side as much as he could. He talked, sang, and read stories to the bump almost every night. Not a morning was missed without kisses. This was another source of the proposal for Joel.
"Hate to interrupt you both, but I need a snack", you mumbled, brushing some of the hair from Joel's forehead away, "You are free to continue this upstairs, and you'll be much cozier in bed; bending like that will do a number on your back". Joel looked up at you, pretending to be utterly offended by your words, "Are you calling me old?", "I'm calling it snack break that leads to bed break", you gave him a bright smile before turning to search for a jar of pickles. Joel watched you happily munching, a proud smile on his face.
You were wobbling around the kitchen, adding refills of eggs and pancakes to Ellie's plate, when you heard a knock on the door. Joel was quick to move the chair, but you placed a hand on his shoulder, mumbling a quick I got this before moving towards it. "Tommy?", it came out more surprised than it should have, but then again, he rarely came by so early and in the middle of the week as well. The younger Miller glanced towards Joel. Swallowing worriedly, you could feel a sense of dread there. "Did something happen?", you asked, moving to rest your hand on his upper arm. Tommy exhaled carefully, "You might want to kill me, but let me…", "Get to it", Joel said firmly, not breaking eye contact with his brother. "There's an emergency in the nearby town. They don't have a medic good enough", Tommy's eyes were on you now, but Joel cut in firmly, "No".
You speared him no mind though, asking, "What happened?". You had been a medic before the outbreak. It had always been your passion, not just a job. So even the fact that the world fell apart didn't stop you from wanting to help those in need. "I'm not sure, but it's a boy, and he's five at best", he continued, but Joel shook his head. "Don't try to guilt-trip her", "Joel", you warned your lover firmly. "I'm not, but you don't have to; maybe you could just talk to them on the radio?" This had to be serious if Tommy was here in the first place. And the look on his face clearly showed that the morning hasn't been easy for him.
"Get the horses ready", you said softly, "Over my dead body are you riding", Joel was up and walking towards you now. "Rode, you just the other night didn't seem to complain then", you bit back, shooting him an angry look. Ellie snorted while keeping her head down, trying not to catch too much attention, but Joel's glare still landed on her. Messing with Joel in moments like this was dangerous. This man loved his family more than he loved his life. Nothing could stand in his way. And the one who tried never survived long.
"Y/N", he said firmly, "Joel", you repeated the manner. "You're eight months pregnant; this is out of the question", he tried to reason, but in the same way as him, you were stubborn. And if you set your mind on something, making you back away was almost impossible. "You are free to stay, old man", turning to Tommy, you nodded quickly, "Go, get them ready for me, will ya?". Tommy nodded and wasted no time as he slipped out of the house. He knew that Joel's scolding would come sooner or later, but for now, he was thankful to be off the hook.
"Love", Joel's tone was smoother and calm now, as he reached for your arms. You understood his worries, and yes, you were close to giving birth, but the ride was not that long, and you felt just fine. "Joel, I ain't leaving that kid to die", His jaw tightened as he searched your eyes. Now silently pleading for you to skip this one. "You're coming along or staying here?", Joel just shook his head, still frustrated, but he said nothing. Moving towards the stairs to pack a light backpack You knew the frustration would wear off eventually. With time.
"Can I join?", Ellie's voice made you turn to her. "If you want to", you told her. The area was safe and closely monitored. The trade roads were extremely important. At times, exchanging supplies was a crucial part of surviving. "Cool family trip! Like the old days", Ellie chirped. You couldn't help but crack a smile at it. It was quite a trip you all had. Coming to Jackson wasn't easy. It seemed like forever ago now. Yet the incidents lingered in the back of your mind. It still felt too good at times. Well, even the fact that you were pregnant now was a clear indication of how everything had changed. Back in QZ you and Joel were extremely careful. To get pregnant, there was a way to end up in a grave. Here in Jackson, however, it was more than possible.
The boy had an open fracture in his shoulder. A lucky one. An inch lower, and it would have pierced his heart. He was in a critical condition when you got there, but you didn't let your mind slip even for a second. Calm and collected. Not the slightest shake of your fingers. Only when he was laying in between the clean sheets did you let your mind slip, hand resting on your bump as you watched his chest move up and down. The sound of his mother's cries still swirling in your brain. How easy was it to lose someone you loved? Didn't need to be infected even. Anything could happen.
A hand that slipped on your shoulder made you jump. You turned to your side upon seeing Joel there. Your body instantly eased. Joel was scared the whole time you were in the operating room. He didn't move from the little window. Eyes watching you as you worked. Every minute that you stayed up on your feet made him more and more tense. This wasn't okay. You were too far along in your pregnancy to operate for three hours. Your body needed rest, not this. Only now did you realize how tired you were. But you couldn't show it. No, Joel would worry too much, and this was already far too much worrying for one day. So you squeezed his hand firmly before standing up.
You and Ellie were walking through the forest. Well, you were wobbling. Walking properly wasn't an option any longer. Joel was behind you both once again, keeping a close eye on you. You suggested you walked for a bit midway through the ride. Joel gave you a questionable look but nodded his head regardless. "So they just grow like this?", asked Ellie, looking at the bush that was covered in blueberries. You nodded your head, "They do. As a kid, I loved going into the forest to pick berries". It's been quite sometime now that she was a part of your life, but no matter how many stories you told her, Ellie still found things that surprised her.
You encouraged her to reach for the berry. Watching as her eyes gaped as the sweet taste hit her tongue. "Can we get some and make a pie or something?", she asked as she reached for another handful. You smiled at her softly, "Of course we ca-ahh,", you crunched forward. Bracing yourself on the tree that was by your side. Joel's steps picked up as he moved closer to you. Ellie's big eyes watched you. "Mom,", she asked worriedly, even if the tight look on your face eased. Joel's fingers wrapped around your forearms, steadying you. "It's nothing, guys; no one needs to worry", you said. Cupping the material of the long fabric beneath your bump for extra support. "You should sit down for a minute", Joel looked around, trying to find a place for you to rest somewhat comfortably.
"There's no need", you tried to sound calm, but another wave of pain hit you, making you grip Joel's hands. Ellie looked at Joel now. Worry seeped through her because even if she knew little about things like this, it didn't seem like nothing to her. "Y/N…", Joel rasped out himself, trying to undress what was happening. But you knew this wasn't nothing. Because you began to feel strange the moment you arrived in the nearby town. Then the pain picked up during the operation, but you were able to breathe through it. It didn't bother you all too much. You were sure you were good once it eased, but then you couldn't seem to sit on the horse as the pressure and pain increased. You knew this was something more.
"Don't get mad", you said through gritted teeth as the pain slowly eased, "I just… I felt", but it seemed like your baby was more than eager to do the speaking for itself as a warm trickle of liquid started to slowly trail down your legs. The material of your dress dampened. Another breathy exhale caught in your throat as you hissed. Joel moved an arm around your middle, "I fucking told you, shit", "Don't be like that", Ellie warned him quickly. Stress was not what you needed now, yet Joel didn't budge, "Like what? We're in the middle of the woods, and Y/N's water just broke". "Joel," you cried out in pain once more, both hands holding onto your tight stomach as even more liquid rushed down your legs.
"Fuck okay, come here", Joel told you, but you didn't want him to pick you up. "Dad ", Ellie rasped out, "It's okay, everything's okay, we'll figure this out". Joel wasn't sure if he believed it, but he had to. Someone had to. "Can you sit on a horse?", he questioned, but you shook your head straight away. His mind was blanking out for him. Heart racing. This was not how you were supposed to give birth. "I saw a cabin on the way here. It… was just over the valley", Ellie spoke up again, Joel nodded his head. This was the best chance you had because there was no way he was getting you to Jackson in time, "Lead the way, kiddo".
Joel lowered you just by the patio. He needed to go in first and make sure there was no one there. No infected, no raiders. That it was safe. Ellie felt like she was going to grow gray as she watched you grip the railing. She had seen Joe getting stabbed; she had been through so much shit. Put bullets through people's heads, but somehow nothing compares to this and the fear of losing you. "Hey, look at me", you caught Ellie's hand, "It's going to be okay", you rubbed your finger over her palm. "But what if you or the baby… we have no proper…", she rambled on, "Ellie, darling, it's okay". You could only imagine how scary this seemed to her. Considering that she had never seen anyone in a position like this.
"Your sibling is just slightly more excited to meet you", you chuckled slightly, and a little smile broke onto her face as well. "I'd rather she stayed in your stomach till we returned". You hummed at her words, "Funny thing about babies is they don't listen". She breathed with you through the next contraction. Doing and saying the things that she heard Joel say while you were making your way here. "Mom?", Ellie questioned once more as your face eased, "Everything will be okay, right?", you gave her the best smile you could manage, "Of course, babe."
But everything was far from being great. Joel had pulled an old mattress from the other room and placed it next to the fire that was burning in the fireplace. Ellie was anxiously changing the cold, wet cloth on your forehead as you panted rapidly, holding onto Joel's hand. They both felt helpless. Not sure how to soothe or help. The pain was evident on your face, and if at the start you could still speak between the sharp shooting daggers that ripped through you, now it seemed that you barely managed to even take a breath in between them.
Joel moved so he was kneeling between your parted legs. "Breath, love, you need to take proper breaths", his hand moved up and down your thigh, "Remember how we practiced?", you weakly nodded your head, "Of course you do, you're a trooper", "You need to check me," your hand moved towards your thigh. Joel shrugged off his jacket, quickly rolling up his sleeves. You probably would have told him how good he looked like this. But unfortunately for you, the pain was now the center of your consciousness. Joel gave you one more look as if he was asking for permission, and his hand slipped between your legs. "I feel it. I feel the head", he said firmly, and you nodded your head.
The progress was slow, or more like there was none. Your breathing grew more and more labored, yet no matter how much you pushed, it seemed to lead you nowhere, and the energy was slowly starting to leave your body. "Something isn't right", you muttered after another wave had eased. You had started to shake slightly. "What do you mean?", Joel asked you worryingly. Suddenly it all becomes awfully real to Joel. You could easily die. This could easily lead to him to losing you both. And with the amount of blood on the white material… Joel didn't need to have a medical education to know that this wasn't right.
"Tell me what to do", he tried to meet your eyes, but they seemed frantic. The panic was more than discouraging. No, Joel wasn't going to lose you both. That wasn't an option. "Y/N, look at me," he said as he moved closer to you, "We're going to do this". Joel turned to Ellie briefly, "You think you could find your way back to Jackson, kiddo?" Ellie nodded her head rapidly. She had helped as much as she could. Joel tried to keep her away from the blood, but he could do nothing about the screams and clear agony that you were in. "Okay, you need to go get the midwife and Tommy here", Ellie only managed to nod again. She was shaky and scared. But then again, in the same way as Joel, she couldn't lose you. With one last look at you, Ellie darted out, nearly falling off the stairs as she reached for the horse.
"Help me up. The gravity….", you muttered. Joel reached for your hands, pulling you up, before moving to stand against your back. You were all covered in sweat. Your lower half was drenched. You could feel the blood drying on your thighs and cracking as you moved. Please, you thought to yourself. If this went on any further, you were going to faint. Your body felt heavy. You could barely hold onto your knees as you pushed.
"I don't think I can…", you whispered, once Joel helped you to your knees. "Of course, you can", Joel said firmly, but you still shook your head, "This is my fault". But this time Joel cupped your face, making you look at him, "We're bringing this baby into the world, and you two will be just fine. I've got you. I'm with you. I believe in you" he said, leaning his forehead onto your damp one. Joel took a moment to breathe. You needed him to be strong now. He needed to be your rock.
You pushed and pushed, and minutes melted into what felt like endless nothingness. Joel's voice guided you through it all. You had no clue how he managed it, but he was holding onto one of your legs, giving you extra support to press onto something as you pushed. While the other occasionally slipped behind you, to help you push up. "Come on, one more, mama. One more", Joel's hand rested behind the infant's head as he looked back up at you, "Give me one big one, and we'll be a family of four". You did just that. With a deep breath, you pushed with all that you had left. Yet another scream ripped past your lips, and the pressure suddenly eased as your head fell back onto the mattress.
Joel quickly pulled the baby up as the loudest cry filled the living room. He couldn't help a smile; he couldn't help the tears that filled his eyes. Joel reached for his jacket, quickly wrapping the babe in it, and rocking it gently. "Hello, gorgeous, look at your cries", he cooed at the newest Miller for a moment before his eyes moved up to look at your tired face that was now covered in tears as well. "So…", you trailed off as Joel leaned over to you so he could rest the baby on your chest. "Dad had a good intuition", he teased, and you felt another wave of tears coming. "A girl", you muttered, looking down at the pruny baby in your arms. "Oh, you sweet angel", your finger carefully traced her cheek, "As stubborn as her mom too". Joel moved behind you, making sure that you were comfortable as you rested against his chest. "She has your eyes", you muttered, looking up at your lover, who looked down at you lovingly. "Can you believe that we made her?", he asked. You shook your head, "I'm still mortified that this is a dream".
The sudden noises outside made you both perk up. Joel reached for the gun, pointing it straight at the door. Just as breathless Ellie fell into the room. Behind her, a dark-haired lady rushed into the living room. Smiling at the sight of the baby bundled up in your arms, "Look at you three, good job, and congratulations". Lydia was the main midwife in Jackson. She cupped your cheeks, stealing a glance at the baby before moving to look at the mattress.
"Check her first, Lydia,", you asked her, but the lady only shook her head, "No, darling girl, you're still bleeding, and the baby with lungs like that is more than healthy". You wanted to argue, but the chaos of the room suddenly made you feel dizzy. Your mouth went dry. "You two, baby, and Ellie, out of the room now", the midwife pointed quickly to the two Miller brothers. "What's going on?", Joel asked, yet no one answered him as Lydia pulled your body up and away from Joel. Only now did Joel see how pale you were. But Maria placed the baby into his arms before pushing them all out of the room.
Joel's worries didn't die. They were clouding his brain. You were fine just a moment ago. You talked and… But then he saw Ellie's big eyes searching the room. She looked so small. So lost and so scared. "El", Joel called out lovingly, making her snap her head towards him, "Want to see your sister?". A long-lost sparkle gleamed in Ellie's eyes. "A girl?", she muttered under her breath. "Margo. Unless your mom changes her mind", Ellie stepped closer, careful as ever. As if too big a step might harm the baby somehow. Her hands stayed by her side as she looked at the baby in Joel's arms. "She needs a bath", Ellie muttered, Joel laughed slightly, "Yeah, we can give her one after", she nodded, her eyes never leaving the infant.
"Can I… I don't have to", she trailed off, "Come here, make sure you support her head", Joel made room on the rundown sofa that was in the room they were rushing into. Ellie's arms were stiff. She stopped her breathing for a moment. "She's so tiny… Hi", the baby grasped onto her finger, making Ellie look up at Joel as if she was asking if this was okay, but he only smiled at her. "You reckon she knows who I am?", Ellie asked. Joel leaned in to kiss the side of her head. "After all the dance parties you had and the cookies you made? I think you are already best friends". Ellie nodded her head in approval, yet her eyes darted to the door and asked, "And mom?".
Here was where Joel didn't know what to say. He wanted to reassure her but he couldn't. Because he didn't know what was going on. What if you were dead? A cold shiver ran down his back. No, you couldn't. His chest started to grow heavy all of a sudden. But the door swung open, and Joel had stood up at lightning speed. "Lydia,", he called out, bracing himself for the worst, but the old lady just gave him a warm smile. "She lost a bit more blood, but everything is okay. She's all cleaned up; you three should head to her", Joel practically sank to the floor as those words filled his mind. Whoever was guarding him was working overtime. He turned to Ellie, but she was already walking through the door with Margo in her hands. "You did a good job", Lydia squeezed Joel's hand, "Go have some family time with your girls".
Ellie was nestled by your side, silent tears falling down her cheeks as you held her close. Joel stepped in as quietly as he could, but his eyes instantly found yours. You gave him a weak smile. You knew he could tell just how tired you were. "I'm so outnumbered by females now," he said as he sat down by your other side. Moving your hand to his lips as he kissed it. He nudged Ellie slightly, feeling even more ease slip through his body as she giggled. "You're destined to be a girl, dad", you muttered, running your hand up and down the baby's back as she started to fuss.
"I think someone's hungry", you said, trying to get more comfortable. Joel instantly stood up so he could pull you up slightly, reaching for a spear blanket before putting it behind the makeshift pillow. The suckling noises filled the space within seconds, as Margo happily latched on. Her tiny fist flexed in the air. Ellie instantly moved her finger for Margo to grasp; her tiny fingers wrapped around it, and her fussing eased as she ate.
Joel just watched you three, his hand resting on your thigh. This was both the scariest and most beautiful experience ever. He got to bring his baby girl into the world. He had missed Sarah's birth back then. Only got to see her wrapped up in a pink blanket hours later. It had eaten at him for years. He knew he wanted to be here this time. There was no doubt, and now, after everything, he thought that it couldn't have been more perfect.
"You're okay?", your fingers squeezed his thigh gently, making him turn to you. "Yeah, just thinking about how perfect you are and how much I love you all", you couldn't help but smile, mumbling a quick I love you back to him. It was Ellie who was struck by those words the most. She knew that you both loved her. You had told her that many times, but Joel had never directly spoken about it. "I love you all as well", she mumbled back. Joel glanced at her as he reached for her hand.
"You reckon we could all fit on this", you spoke up after a minute, already starting to feel tired again. "I take the left side", Ellie said quickly, once again moving closer to you. "Who said we're allowed to call dibs", Joel questioned teasingly. "You snooze, you lose", she stuck out her tongue as you brushed some of the hair away from her face. "There's plenty of space for everyone to get a cuddle", you said softly as Joel slipped behind you, your body melted into his tender chest. One of his hands sneaked behind yours so he could support Margo, who was still feasting. Joel pressed a kiss to your shoulder. Life had both taken away from him, but then gave him so much more. His other hand rested on Ellie's back protectively. This was both empowering and crippling at the same time. Between Joel's arms was his whole world. World that was made up of you three. His biggest treasure. His most prized possession.

you , your brother , and your mother were staying at topper’s house for the summer while she had the entire house’s tiling redone. you stayed in the spare bedroom right across the hall from topper’s room , and made no worry about making yourself comfortable. it was currently a perfect summer weekend , and both your mother and aunt decided to take the couple of days they had off and spent in the city.
when you came downstairs to start your day , rafe and kelce were already over , hanging out in the living room. in between topper and rafe sat your little brother. he was playing games with the older boys on the tv , and you couldn’t help but crack a smile at the sight.
you made your way behind the couch , grabbing alex’s head and pressing a kiss to his forehead. “good morning , my little angel,” you started , ruffling his hair without too much fuss from him, “hanging with the big kids today?”
“uh , mom says i can’t go on the boat without her , so she wanted me to tell you that you have to hang back and stay home with me,” alex explained , eyes never leaving the tv screen , where him and rafe were currently fighting against each other on.
you hummed , thinking about the plans you had for the day. rafe invited everyone out on the druthers for the day ; you , his friends , your boyfriend , a few girls. “well , i don’t see mom anywhere , do you?” you plotted , leaning down by his ear before whispering, “i think rafe’ll let ya on the druthers , right?”
at the sound of his name falling from your lips , rafe turned and looked at you. he took in your matching pajamas and the rollers in your hair. even not done up , you looked heaven-sent. you were untouchable , and that just made rafe want you more. “if y/n says it’s okay then i don’t see why not , kid,” rafe agreed , nudging the ten year old with his elbow before going back to the game, “it’s not like you’re a baby.”
“thank you!” alex hugged rafe from the side , kiddish smile on his lips to show off his little gap, “what do you guys do on boats anyway.”
“usually we just hangout , listen to music. same stuff we do here but on a boat,” topper explained , grabbing the controller from rafe and taking his turn on the game while alex passed his to kelce.
you moved to the kitchen , pouring yourself a cup of coffee and adding all of your extras when you felt someone come up behind you and grab your hips. “good morning to you too , rafe,” you grumbled , pushing him off of you.
“you look beautiful,” he sighed , moving to lean against the counter, “andy coming out today?”
“andrew is coming , yes,” you answered , correcting him at the same time.
“he gonna be a douchebag today?” rafe continued , eyeing you up and down from behind.
you turned entirely to give rafe a nasty look. “are you going to harass him? because if you are then most likely , yeah. he’ll be a douchebag,” you huffed , crossing your arms , coffee in hand, “i don’t even know how you two are friends. it’s like you hate each other but won’t say it even though you both know.”
rafe chuckled a little as he grabbed a beer from the fridge. “i don’t hate the kid,” he began , cracking the bottle open, “i just don’t like that he has something i want.” his blue eyes met yours , daring you to look away first.
you never did. you knew how rafe liked to play his little games. he liked them easy and fun with whatever girl he was trying to get fighting him just enough for it to add to the overall pride he’d feel when he finally scored.
“damn shame,” you hummed , staring back at him, “i should probably get ready.”
“you’re already perfect,” rafe complimented , hand reaching to feel the hem of your shorts. his touch matched the material : delicate.
you smacked his hand away. “we’re going on a boat. i’m not wearing this , idiot,” you hit his chest gently before moving away from him and going to the stairs , feeling his gaze on you the entire time. “we’re leaving at noon , booger! bring sunscreen!” you called out to your brother who just grunted in response.
a few hours had passed , and it was time for everyone to head out. andrew had facetimed you while you got ready , telling you he’d meet at topper’s first. when he arrived , he dapped all the guys up , including alex , before heading up to your room. of course , it wasn’t without glares from rafe and topper.
rafe didn’t like the guy because of you , and topper didn’t like him because he was often the one you cried to about him. andrew was none the wiser , thinking your friend group was one big , happy family.
“you look nice,” andrew smiled , pressing a kiss into your temple as he opened the front door for you. rafe was driving you , andrew , and alex. topper was driving with kelce and the girls they picked up.
“shoulda seen her this morning!” alex laughed , hopping in the front of rafe’s truck like he always did when rafe was chauffeur, “she had those rollers in her hair again. looked all crazy!”
“and you were drooling this morning when i went in to check on you,” you retorted , pushing at the back of his head, “i didn’t look that bad,” you muttered to andrew , sitting in the back next to him.
the drive wasn’t too far to get to the marina. rafe played eye spy with alex while you and andrew sat quiet in the back. “how much did your boat cost?” alex asked when the druthers came into view.
“alexander , you don’t ask people that,” you scolded him quickly , pinching his ear just a little to make him look at you. he did , rolling his eyes as you glared at him.
rafe’s laugh got you to soften before he answered your brother anyway, “way more than it should have.”
“i think i’d rather have my own plane,” alex decided , unbuckling his seatbelt prematurely. rafe reached over , grabbing the polyester before it retracted entirely and buckled it again. “we’re practically there!” your brother whined , clearly excited to go out on the water with everyone.
“somebody could easily be speeding through here , not seeing us , and then slam into my truck. if you’re not buckled? hate to break it to you , but you’re dead after you fly through my windshield,” rafe explained , pressing on his brakes lightly but enough to jostle you all around, “see? seatbelts.”
you glanced at andrew for a moment , seeing him on his phone. he seemed annoyed , but you couldn’t tell if it was you or work or something else. “hang up , hang out?” you asked , nudging your boyfriend as rafe pulled the truck to a stop.
“let the man work if he wants to , y/n,” rafe smiled from the front , giving you a look you knew all too well.
just when he turned around to get out of the truck , andrew locked his phone and smiled at you. “there. all done,” he assured you , getting out of the truck and letting you follow.
he helped rafe grab the necessities from the bed. alex stayed back with you despite grabbing a couple of fishing poles that rafe offered him. you grabbed your bag and a cooler full of drinks. “can we all agree that fishing is going to be stupid?” you asked aloud , knowing topper would groan behind you and andrew would whine.
“fishing is fun!” they both replied. even though topper wasn’t andrew’s biggest fan anymore , they grew up together. fishing was one of their things , and they’d defend it until they died.
once you had all hauled everything onto the boat , rafe took off. alex was right beside him , watching his every move. you sat next to andrew , pulling out your book of the week and started where you left off. andrew , despite being ‘all done’ , picked his phone up again.
“wait , wait!” he called out to rafe , listening to whoever was on the phone as he put his finger up, “i gotta go,” he rushed out , standing up and grabbing his things.
“are you serious?” you deadpanned , looking up at him like he’s the dumbest person you’d met, “like actually?” you heard rafe chuckle a little bit before covering it with a cough , so you shot him a glare.
“yeah , hon,” andrew grimaced. you did too ; you hated that nickname. “duty calls,” he shrugged kissing the top of your head before getting himself on the dock again. he stopped and turned , pointing at rafe , kelce , and topper. “take care of my girl.”
kelce and topper acknowledged their friend while rafe glanced at you. seriously? he thought. seriously. you rolled your eyes. “okay , then. see you later,” you waved at andrew from your spot on the boat , but he was already on the phone again, “rafe , just—“
“gotcha,” the driver nodded , pulling away from the dock and getting out to the water.
he took you all far enough out to where it wouldn’t be filled with people , anchoring down and telling alex to go grab the playing cards and get comfy. rafe had promised him that he would teach him poker , and alex suggested today.
everyone started setting up for whatever they planned to do for the day. topper cracked open a few beers for the girls , and rafe handed you a glass of wine from the bottle he brought just for you. “you heard your boy tell me to take care of you , right?” he smirked , hand lingering on yours a moment too long before you rolled your eyes.
“i can take care of myself,” you assured him , opening your book back up and starting again, “just make sure my brother doesn’t drown please.”
you knew you didn’t have to tell rafe to watch out for alex. every time he was around the older kids , he was constantly being watched by rafe. he made sure nothing was going to happen to your little brother. you hated that you loved it.
andrew hadn’t let you know that he’d made it home or anything like that so far. it’d been three hours. so , you decided to call him. rafe saw you stand up , grab your phone and move to the bedroom for some privacy. he watched you the whole way and gave you a few minutes by yourself.
“hey , it’s your girlfriend calling to say that it would be nice if you’d fucking let me know when you get home,” you rattled into the phone , having to leave a message because andrew didn’t pick up, “it’s been three hours , so , like , hopefully you’re not dead.”
you ended the call and flopped onto the bed you’d spent several nights in before. “fucking asshole,” you whispered , closing your eyes and trying to relax a little bit. you heard the door open and shut before you felt a dip next to you in the bed. one eye peeked open , confirming the fact that it was just rafe.
“you okay?” he quietly asked , copying you and laying down with his eyes closed.
“who’s with al?” you replied , hoping it was topper and not one of the girls you didn’t know that well. rafe assured you he was in good hands , and you were able to sink just a little bit more into the mattress. “andrew was in fact a douchebag today,” you sighed , rolling onto your side to face rafe completely.
rafe copied you , turning on his opposite side and looking into your eyes. usually , he didn’t maintain eye contact for too long , knowing that sparkle would make him weak in the knees. in moments like this , though , he took his time.
you weren’t bickering at each other , weren’t rolling your eyes , weren’t walking away. you were there ; entirely. he was able to study the colors that mixed in your irises and burn them into his memory. he was able to read your mind a little better when you were calm.
“he always is , baby,” rafe finally whispered back , hand coming up to fix a hair that was uncharacteristically out of place, “you deserve someone better. someone that knows you and takes care of you and cherishes you , y/n. i don’t know why you’re with that slob,” he added , bringing his hand down to your hip , and it wasn’t sexual at all. he just wanted to touch you however he could.
the pout on your lips deepened at his words. “throw three years of my life away? doesn’t sound too fun,” you shrugged.
“better than throwing the rest of your life away because you were scared,” he easily countered , thumb starting to move back and forth against the mesh of your coverup.
“and what do i do after?” you questioned , not ever actually thinking of leaving your boyfriend.
rafe chuckled and turned on his back again. “y/n , you would have a line all the way to charleston of guys waiting to fill andrew’s place,” he explained, “no doubt.”
“are you in line?”
his eyes flickered to you again , and a smile he only let appear when he was with you formed on his lips. “yeah,” he nodded, “i’m in line.”
your smile matched his , letting his words sink in. you had this game of cat and mouse , and for the first time , you’re thinking you might actually want to stop playing and just surrender. “so are you going to kiss me or not?”
“you gonna let me?” rafe’s voice was lower , daring you to do something. he wasn’t the type of guy to care too much about a girl’s relationship status , but with you , he wasn’t going to push it too far. he knew the line and stopped short of it every time.
but the answer was simple. you shifted closer to rafe , using your hand to turn his face to yours. “i’m letting you cut the line right now , rafe. take advantage of that,” you advised , voice quiet , like if you spoke any louder it would pop the bubble you two were in.
that was the green light for rafe. he quickly grabbed your face in his hands and kissed you deeply , like he had been waiting for the opportunity. and he had. you both waited two years for this exact moment. the moment you decided to stop playing around and let rafe have what he’d been wanting.
you pulled apart , eyes still closed , to catch your breath. rafe opened his eyes , taking a moment to look at you. your lips were slightly red from the kiss ; you looked perfect like always. “we should probably head back out,” rafe sighed , pulling you out of your trance.
“i don’t think i want to yet,” you admitted , a blush rising on your cheeks. you couldn’t remember the last time you were this flustered over one kiss. “i really don’t want to yet , rafe.”
“yeah , me neither,” rafe agreed with a light laugh , leaning in to peck your lips once again, “i was just trying to be… gentlemanly. i guess,” he rolled his eyes jokingly.
you laughed with him , pulling him in for another kiss. this was one softer than the first , slower. “i don’t need you to be a gentleman,” you shook your head, “just need you to stay you.”

Toto Wolff with wife reader. He always goes to the gym or exercises in order to keep in shape. One day she wanted to do it too but instead spent the entire time there staring at him. Fluff and maybe suggestive. Thanks!! :))
In Shape and In Love
Word count: 1.1k
Pairing: Toto Wolff x reader
______________________________________________________________
Toto Wolff was a man of unwavering discipline, a trait that had served him well in both his career and personal life. Every morning, without fail, he woke up before the sun, slipping out of bed quietly so as not to disturb you, and headed straight to the gym. It was his sanctuary, a place where he could channel his focus, clear his mind, and maintain the physical condition that had become as much a part of his identity as his role at Mercedes.
You had always admired this about him. The sight of Toto in his workout gear, muscles rippling beneath taut skin, his brow furrowed in concentration as he pushed himself to his limits, was a sight you never tired of. Yet, despite your admiration, you had never joined him in his early morning routines. Mornings for you were about lingering in the warmth of the bed, savoring the last few moments of sleep before starting your day.
But this morning was different. You had decided to accompany him, curious to experience firsthand what had kept him so committed all these years. The night before, when you’d mentioned your plan, Toto’s eyes had sparkled with surprise and amusement.
“Are you sure, Mäuschen?” he’d asked with a teasing smile, wrapping an arm around your waist. “I’ve never known you to willingly get up before sunrise.”
“I want to see what all the fuss is about,” you had replied, grinning back at him. “Besides, maybe you can teach me a thing or two.”
That morning, you found yourself in the gym, dressed in workout clothes that felt a little too new, a little too stiff. The space was quiet, save for the rhythmic clink of weights and the low hum of Toto’s breath as he moved through his routine. He was already deep into his workout when you entered, the definition of his muscles accentuated by the sheen of sweat that covered his skin. He hadn’t noticed you yet, too focused on the task at hand.
You had intended to start with some light exercises—maybe a bit of stretching or some gentle yoga. But the moment you saw him, all thoughts of working out vanished. Instead, you found yourself drawn to a bench where you could sit and watch him without interrupting. It was a sight you rarely got to see so up close: the sheer power in every movement, the way his muscles flexed with each lift, the intense focus in his eyes as he pushed himself harder and harder.
He was wearing a sleeveless shirt that clung to his broad shoulders and chest, the fabric damp with sweat. Each time he exhaled, his chest rose and fell in a way that was hypnotic. The veins in his arms were prominent, a sign of the strength he had cultivated over years of dedication.
For a while, you simply watched, completely mesmerized by the man before you. The way he moved was almost sensual, each repetition a testament to his strength and control. You felt a warmth growing within you, a subtle yet undeniable pull that had nothing to do with the exercise you had planned and everything to do with the effect Toto had on you.
“Enjoying the view?” Toto’s voice cut through your thoughts, snapping you back to reality. He was standing in front of you now, a playful smile tugging at his lips. He had caught you staring, and the heat in your cheeks betrayed the thoughts you had been entertaining.
A sheepish smile spread across your face as you tried to play it cool. “I might be,” you teased, your tone light but your heart pounding in your chest.
Toto chuckled, a low sound that sent a shiver down your spine. He set the weights down and approached you, his gaze never leaving yours. There was a gleam in his eyes that told you he knew exactly what was going through your mind. “You know,” he murmured, reaching out to gently lift your chin so your eyes met his, “you’re supposed to be working out, not just watching me.”
“I was getting inspired,” you quipped, though your voice was softer now, betraying the effect his proximity was having on you. Your hand instinctively reached out, resting on his chest where you could feel the steady, powerful beat of his heart beneath your fingertips.
Toto’s smile deepened, and he leaned in closer, his breath warm against your skin. “If this is how you want to spend our gym time,” he said, his voice dropping to a husky whisper, “I’m not complaining. But I might have other ideas for how to make this morning even better.”
The suggestiveness in his tone sent a wave of heat coursing through you, and you couldn’t help the way your body responded, leaning into him slightly. “Oh?” you replied, your voice barely more than a breath. “And what might those ideas be?”
Toto’s hand slid from your chin to cup your cheek, his thumb brushing lightly over your skin. “How about,” he began, his lips so close to yours that you could almost taste him, “we skip the workout and focus on a different kind of exercise?”
Your breath hitched at the implication of his words, a surge of anticipation flooding through you. “I think I could be persuaded,” you murmured, your hand moving from his chest to the back of his neck, pulling him even closer.
Toto’s eyes darkened with desire, and he closed the distance between you, capturing your lips in a kiss that was both tender and demanding. It was as if the morning’s workout had only served to heighten his need for you, every ounce of his energy now directed towards the way he kissed you, the way his hands moved over your body, igniting every nerve with a burning need.
The gym was forgotten as the kiss deepened, his hands moving to your waist, pulling you up from the bench and against his solid frame. The feeling of his hard body pressed against yours was intoxicating, and you found yourself completely lost in the moment, in the way he made you feel so utterly desired.
“Toto,” you whispered against his lips, your voice breathless as you felt his hands slide under your shirt, his touch sending sparks of electricity through you. “Maybe we should… take this somewhere else.”
Toto pulled back just enough to look into your eyes, his expression a mix of love and raw desire. “Are you sure?” he asked, his voice low and rough.
You nodded, your heart racing. “I’m sure. I think we have some unfinished business at home.”
His smile was wicked, and he didn’t need to be told twice. Within moments, you were both heading back to the apartment, the anticipation between you palpable. The workout may have been cut short, but the morning was far from over. You knew that what awaited you back home would be a different kind of exercise entirely—one that you were more than willing to dive into with the man you loved.

Hello everyone! I’ve been working on this idea for a little while.. its definitely not my best work but i really liked writing this! Enjoy! Love always- RG! x
part 1 of 2! read part two here 2,603 words - this part is mostly build-up!
MATURE CONTENT & LANGUAGE WARNING 18+
The final stretch of the last training session before a break was always the worst, ending with all the girls heaving and sweaty as they piled back into the team changing room. It was Friday, and plans for the evening were already being finalised by the time you entered the room and made your way to your usual spot. Tucked away into the corner, happy to sit down and take off your boots before you heard your name hollered from within the fuss of conversation.
"Oi! Y/L/N, drinks at 8. You get no input or choice..." The voice belonged to Mary and was followed by a hound of laughs from around the room. Drinks were never your go-to, much preferring a takeaway and crap tv in the comfort of your own home. The girls knew this, so instead of asking - they would tell. You knew better than to fight it, laughing with them and nodding before throwing the group a sarcastic double thumbs-up as you placed your boots into your kit bag.
"I'll be there, Pre-drinks at Tooney's I'm guessing?" That was always the plan, meet at Ella's and either walk or get an Uber to wherever the group had decided to spend the remainder of the night. Your question was met with a couple 'obviously's and 'you know it's from the girls, who had now dispersed around the room and started packing their belongings away. You were packed up first, as per usual, and were sat chatting as everyone finished changing. Once everyone had grabbed what they needed and conversations were stalling to a halt, everyone made their collective way through the hall and out towards the front of the building. You, Ella and Alessia led the way, arms linked and phones in hand, already discussing the 'dress code' for the evening.
By the time you had finally made it home, battling through the usual city traffic it was nearing 4pm and all plans for an unrushed evening of preparing were out the window - so after dumping your bag in the kitchen you headed straight for the shower.
_________
The next two hours were spent rushing around your bedroom and flat, drying and styling your hair before applying your usual 'going out' makeup. Next came the clothes and after 6 failed attempts at outfits you had created in your head and two stressed glasses of whatever wine you had in the fridge, you settled on wide-leg jeans and a strapless bodysuit paired with a pair of comfy heels which gave you an extra couple of inches. After packing the essentials into the ridiculously small-seeming bag you had chosen and grabbing a jacket, you were finally ready to head out the door.
The journey to Ella's house wasn't long, 10 minutes at most, and the weather was in your favour - the sun starting to set and a gentle chill creeping through your clothes just as you had arrived at her front door. Holding a bottle of cheap wine close to your side, you rang the bell and waited, soon to be greeted by Alessia and ushered inside - music was already blaring from the kitchen where a few of the girls loitered. Ella grabbed the bottle from your grasp, pouring you a generous glass and placing the remainder into her fridge. "You look fit, mate!" She exclaimed as she turned back to you and passed your drink.
"Oh stop it, look at you Tooney." You said, holding your hand out towards her and feigning a dramatic gasp, you both fell into a burst of soft laughter and moved to join the rest of the group. You said your hello's, exchanging genuine compliments and stationed yourself by the sink, bringing the glass to your lips as the doorbell chimed through the house.
"Fucking hell, Luce! Didn't want to leave the rest of us a chance to pull then?" Ella squealed exasperatedly, throwing her hands up in fake annoyance and stomping back into the kitchen. You straightened up at the mention of the older right-back, taking another sip of your drink as she emerged into the room and said her hello's.
By the time she made it to you, you were sure you could draw her from memory. Watching her closely as she worked her way across the room - you noticed how the white shirt she wore was clinging to her arms and chest in all the right places, tucked neatly into a pair of slack-like trousers which sat loosely around her ankles to reveal a pair of crisp airforce. Before you could react she was in front of you, pulling you in with a gentle hand on the back and a warm smile, giving you a friendly cheek-to-cheek kiss and hug then pulling away and moving back into the centre of the room and retrieving her own drink.
She looked good and she was well aware, which made it so much harder to look away. Having to try your hardest to remind yourself of where you are and who she was. Her glasses sat on the bridge of her nose, with her hair pulled back into her usual bun. You had always found her attractive - how could you not? She looked as if she had been carved by the Gods themselves, with smooth olive skin and muscles that put everyone else to shame.
You had always gotten along well, laughing and joking across the pitch during training. Sometimes meeting her eyes for a moment too long during conversations or humouring the lingering touches when you brushed past each other in social settings. Though nothing had ever come of it, that didn't mean you didn't enjoy the warmth of her hands on the small of your back or the way you seemed to fall into her eyes and stumble on your words when she would catch you off guard and today was no exception. You couldn't help but watch her as she worked the room, engaging in conversations.
When the last of the girls had arrived, the house was buzzing with the type of giddy excitement only alcohol could provide - everyone was a few drinks down now and it wasn't long before you were sat in a taxi heading into town.
_________
10pm rolled around and the drinks were flowing, empty glasses scattered across the table which a few of the girls sat around. Some were stood at the bar, ordering the next round and a few more occupied a section of the dancefloor. You, however, found yourself perched on a bar stool with a drink in hand, ear forward as Lucy told you a story about one of her former teammates. Trying your hardest to pay attention, but too focused on how close together you were.
You could feel her breath on your ear as she tried to speak over the music that rattled through the room. Her hand was placed just above your knee for leverage as she leaned over you and it was all you could think about. The smell of her perfume flooded your senses, disorientating the logical side of your brain which tried to scream through the cloud of subtle arousal that sat heavy behind your eyes. 'This is so unprofessional!' you were aware and you knew deep down this could ruin you - but the sweet smell of her skin was intoxicating.
Your train of thought was interrupted as your eyes refocused, grounding you back into the moment. Realising she now stood away from your ear, instead looking at you with raised eyebrows and a slight smirk across her lips. shit. caught red-handed. You stiffened when she leaned back towards your ear, "Am I boring you Y/L/N? Did you even hear what I said?" You hadn't. but she wasn't asking, she was taunting.
She watched you struggle for an answer, pure amusement plastered across her face. Putting you out of your misery she leant back in, this time pushing you further into your pit. Lips pressed cautiously against your lobe, "Strike one, darlin'." She muttered and you were sure you could feel her smirk against your ear before she departed entirely and you lost her in the crowd of bodies around you. strikes? what strikes? You wondered silently to yourself, bringing your drink to your lips as your eyes scanned the dark room but she was already gone.
_________
An hour later you found yourself on the dancefloor surrounded by your friends, who were all individually butchering an Amy Winehouse classic. As the song wrapped up to an end, you were pulled into a loose group hug - maybe it was the alcohol or maybe it was just the love you felt in that moment, but you couldn't explain the warmth that coursed through your veins as you looked at your people.
Before long a new song began, a low beat bounced off the walls and wrapped around the bodies on the floor. You didn't know the song but remained with the girls, swaying to the beat and laughing at some of their horrific dance moves. As the song hit the chorus you and Mary gravitated towards each other, dancing and laughing as you stood in front of her and attempted an awful twerk and grind move to the beat with her hands placed firmly on your hips. Both of you played into your roles, spilling your drinks as you did so and adding to the already sticky floor.
It wasn't unusual for the team to dance like this and it was very rarely serious when one of you was pressed back up against another, but today it felt different. One specific set of deep eyes stayed locked on your movements as Lucy watched from the opposite side of the group, tongue rolling along the inside of her teeth when you finally made eye contact from your compromising position. Through the darkness you could see her lips moving; she was talking - or at least mouthing something towards you. You couldn't connect the dots until she lifted her hand in front of her, showing you two fingers. "Two strikes."
What would happen at three? And why were you excited to find out?
_________
It was nearing 11 now and you stood at the bar, almost too close to a woman you had just met - sipping the fruity drink she had ordered you. Normally you would think twice about talking to someone at a bar, but tonight’s circumstances made it a thrilling game and you couldn’t wait to play. You knew she was watching, feeling her eyes bore into the back of your head but paying little attention while you focused on the task at hand. Lucy was standing a few feet behind you, between Ella and Leah who were trying to talk over the music. Lucy wasn’t interested though, her attention fixed on you and your new friend. Gripping her drink so tight she was sure it might shatter as she watched you lift a sly hand up and rest it on the stranger's shoulder. Lucy couldn’t pinpoint the feeling, internally confused at the sudden jealousy that burned deep in the pits of her stomach. Just as you were starting to think she had lost interest, a body was pressed to the side of you, pushing a wedge between yourself and the woman whose name you couldn’t even remember.
The game was no longer fun when Lucy ushered you around the room to say your goodbyes, excusing you both from the function. A few of the girls started to protest but she was quick to respond with “Y/N’s not feeling 100%, said I’d make sure she got home okay.” And that was enough for them. She held you close as you walked out into the street, whispering a small but steady “Third and final.” as she pulled you into a waiting taxi.
_________
The pair of you didn't even make it through the front door before she pounced, your key still in the lock when she had you pinned between her frame and the door. Her hands sat heavy on your hips, eyes locked on yours. "God, you've been drivin' me mental all night.." she groaned, scanning your features.
"Do something about it then," You pushed. This was new but unbelievably exciting, you had never seen her like this. Before you could speak again her lips were on yours. Rough and urgent, like she was scared someone would rip you right out of her grip. "Inside," You managed to mumble against her lips, unlocking the door and pulling her inside - not wasting any more time to attach your lips together again.
This time was different, a rage of hunger alight in the depths of your stomach. Your hands sat on the nape of her neck, lacing through the small amount of hair that had fallen from her bun throughout the night. Her hands couldn't settle, exploring your figure and fisting at the fabric that separated skin from skin. Somehow during this you had travelled through the hall and were now fighting through your bedroom door, shoes and jackets kicked off and discarded around the flat - highlighting your erratic path.
Once inside the safety of your bedroom, things seemed to slow. The initial hunger and speed now dimmed into lust. Yearning. She pressed rough but calculated kisses down your jaw, lingering below your ear for a moment before moving across your collarbones. The feeling made you shudder, holding her head in your hands.
She had you stripped in minutes, now pulled tightly against her in your underwear. "Jesus Christ Y/L/N are you trying to kill me here?" She murmured, thumb caressing the lace across your chest, tracing the shapes for a second before her eyes met yours. A moment passed and you were growing impatient, inhaling deeply when the pad of her thumb found your nipple through the thin fabric and circled gently. You could tell she was enjoying this, watching you shift your weight from side to side as she slowly broke you down.
"On the bed." You were quick to obey, laying down in front of her - on display. She made her way towards you, situating herself above you and lifting your legs to bend and sit beside her hips. She kissed you deeply, hands latched onto your thighs. The world seemed to melt away around you and all you could think about was the throbbing between your legs.
"Need you," You managed to croak out, hands pulling at the fabric of her trousers - desperate for some form of friction. She let out a cocky scoff from above you.
"I'm not sure you deserve it, love. Haven't been behaving, have you?" She spoke rhetorically, tutting and raising her hand to toy with your bottom lip. "And only good girls get rewarded.." She added lowly as her hand travelled down from your face, tugging at your bra and moving to take your nipple into her mouth. You let out a small moan when you felt the warmth of her mouth on you, legs constricting around her and your back arching into her touch.
You writhed beneath her as she moved between left and right, her hand now finding its way to your underwear. She had two fingers pressed against your clit through the fabric, letting out a soft hum against you when she felt your arousal through the barrier. "Got you all wet for me, hm?"
"Please," You whimpered, lifting your hips up towards her hand. Desperate for some relief for the ache, eyes glassed over with desire.
"Begging for it already and I'm only just getting started. What a shame.."

Unexpectedly Yours
Tumblr media
Chris Bang x fem!reader
Warnings: kissing
Genre: strangers to lovers, fluff
Summary: You and your friends are on a holiday at a ski resort and you meet a certain Kpop idol, who sweeps you off your feet.
a/n: I just need to be delulu for some time. Forgive me for the errors, I wasn't at my best 😭
Tumblr media
You loved winter. The snow, the ice crunching under your feet, the chilly blasts of wind - it was all good. But you were evaluating all your life choices as you sat shivering, even though you were bundled up.
The snow-capped peaks of the mountain resort gleamed under the winter sun, a picturesque setting for a perfect holiday. You  were here with your best friends Lisa and Jennie, seeking a much-needed break from your busy lives. Nestled in the heart of the mountains, the resort's cozy log cabins,  sparkling ice rink, and it's rustic charm had stolen your heart.
But even as you sat in it's quaint cafe, surrounded by the warm aroma of hot cocoa and freshly baked pastries, you felt yourself shiver. Lisa placed a cup in front of you and said, 'Darling, what did you really expect from a ski resort? It's supposed to be cold here.'
'I'm fine, ok? Just a little cold, I'll get over it.' You mutter, taking the cup in your hands.
'Do you realize that you haven't moved from that chair in almost an hour?' Jennie teased.
Shooting them both a glare, you look away. And just to prove that you weren't as weak as they thought, you step out again. The icy wind had you pulling your scarf and woolen hat closer to your face.
You scan the area, seeing crowds of tourists getting ready to ski. That's when your eyes land on a group of men, all dressed in top notch gear and looking like the leads of a movie. They were talking and laughing, and it was a nice sight to behold. One guy in particular caught your attention - he was so breathtakingly handsome, with a beanie pulled low over his ears and a beautiful smile. He looked so familiar, but you just couldn’t quite place him.
Jennie and Lisa returned with the skiing gear. You didn't know how to ski, so you were skeptical about the whole. But they had already decided to drag you out and teach you, so here you were. You felt like a clown as your legs wobbled and you begged them to let you go. And after some twenty long minutes, you were moving.
But as fate would have it, your trip and tumble into the snow. All you could see were some feet, and you just wanted to die. You found a hand appear in front of you and you then a face.
It was that guy from before. He was crouching in front of you, holding out a helping hand. Blushing, you take his hand and let him pull you up.
'Are you okay?' he asked, giving you a soft smile. His voice.
You nod awkwardly, brushing snow off your jacket.
'I’m fine. Thanks.' You mumble, and look at him with a small smile.
'No problem. I’m Chris,' he said with a grin, offering his hand.
You try to place his accent. It was absolutely sexy and Australian?
'I’m Y/N,' you reply, shaking his hand. His touch sent a pleasant shiver up your spine, and you take a step back.
'Nice to meet you, Y/N.' He said, his tone playful and his smile widening.
Your friends were at your side suddenly, apolozing. And Chris watched in amusement as they fussed over you like you were five.
'Stop it! I'm ok.' You said, blushing deeper now. 'I'm sorry. These are my friend, Lisa and Jennie. This is Chris.'
They all say hi and he calls his friends over, and after introductions, you go your separate ways.
Tumblr media
Over the weekend, you and Chris kept running into each other. Though the first couple of times it was just plain awkward, you started joking about how you keep meeting each other all the time.
'Lets go grab a coffee, if you're free that is. I think the universe wants us to.' Chris laughs and you nod a quick yes, following him to the cafe. You sit opposite to him and you're smiling like idiots, not really sure what was happening. And then you get talking - you spent hours at the cafe, just having a good time.
It was dark when you both walk back to your cabins. The stars were shining brightly above, and you both gaze at them, wonderstruck.
'This was great, Y/N. I don't think I've had this much fun just talking to someone. It feels like we’ve known each other forever.' He said, his cute smile going right into your heart.
'I feel the same way, Chris.' You blush. 'I've had the best time.'
Chris smiled again, and then took your hand in his, squeezing it gently. You could see that he wanted to say something more, but he was holding back.
'Everything ok?' You ask, a tinge of worry sneaking in.
Chris nods and says, 'Yeah. Yeah, all good. We have a couple more days before we leave. Let's make the most of it, yeah? We can do something together? Make some plans with all our friends or something?'
Your eyes sparkle as you nod.
'I would love that.' You said, feeling a warmth spreading inside you.
'See you in the morning, then.' Chris said, squeezing your hand again. 'Good night, Y/N.'
'Good night, Chris.' You say and wait for him to let go of your hand.
Jennie and Lisa are on top of you as you walk into the cabin, bombarding you with a hundred questions.
'Oh my God, Y/N. He's so fucking HOT.' Lisa squealed. 'How did you -'
'We just had coffee and talked, ok? Just a friendly coffee. Nothing else.' You said, swatting Lisa away. 'He is hot though.'
'Damn right, he is.' Jennie added, smirking.
Tumblr media
Chris held your hand, skating backwards slowly, as you tried to move forward. He was laughing playfully at how scared you were and you tug at his hand to make him stop. But you both end up losing your balance and fall on the ice, a giggly mess.
Building snowmen and having snowball fights - you had the best time doing the silliest things with Chris and his friends. Even Lisa and Jennie seemed to be enjoying it a lot.
The day ended with dinner at the resort’s restaurant. You all sat around a big table, indulging in steaming bowls of ramen and yummy honey cakes for dessert. Your heart gripped painfully even as you sat among this noisy group. Chris would be leaving the day after. Just one more day with him, before he would be returning to Seoul.
Jennie noticed your glum expression first from across the table. She caught your before giving you a worried look. You just smile and shake your head, but your best friend knew you better. Late that night, you both sat talking.
'Y/N, I know you think this is silly, but sometimes this is how things happen. You don't have to tell Chris anything now. Take his number or something. Keep in touch. See where it goes.'
'I don't know, Jen. I mean I know him for what, two days? I'm sure he is just being friendly.'
'So what? Is being friends so bad?' Jennie asked.
'I don't know.' You mumble with a pout.
Tumblr media
You try to smile and have a good time the next day. You knew you were being silly weeping over a man you hardly knew, but that's just how you felt. Chris lingered close most of the time, before finally sighing and saying, 'Meet me at the hot tub tonight?'
'Hm?' You give him a wide eyed look.
'I want to talk. Just us.' He said. 'Please?'
'Ok.' You reply, nodding.
'9:30 sound good?' He asked.
'Yeah.'
At 9:30 pm, you find Chris already in the hot tub, and you shiver through the steam rising around you. He smiled and held his hand out to you, beckoning you over. You wondered why the hot tub was so mysteriously empty, when the resort was so busy.
You quickly get in and settle down beside him, shoulders brushing.
'You wanted to talk?' You ask, looking at Chris. He turns to face you and you see uncertainty in his eyes. Like he was debating whether this was a good idea or not. You were a bit disheartened by it, but you held on, just because you really like this guy.
'Y/N, before anything, there’s something I should tell you.' Chris said, softly. 'I'm terrified, but, I really really like you and I-'
Your heart skipped a beat.
'Chris, it's ok. Talk to me.' You said, encouraging him to speak.
'I'm part of a K-pop band, and we’re pretty well-known in Seoul. And in other parts of the world. You know...um...' Chris blushed and looked away quickly as if embarrassed. 'I don't know if you really don't know me or if you're just pretending... 'Coz Jennie sure as fuck knows-'
You stare at him, and now that you see him so close and clear, you're sure you've seen that face before.
'Jennie knows?!' You ask, and you look so scandalized, Chris chuckled.
'She does.' He said, nodding. 'She threatened me actually, that if I ever played with your feelings, she would leak our pictures online and you know, oh my God, she's so scary I nearly cried.'
You're staring him with an open mouth.
'I don't know if I should be sorry or proud.' You said with a nervous laugh. 'I'm so sorry, Chris. I'm not into Kpop... shit, I didn't mean to insult you, I mean living with Jen, it's a part of my life, bit I haven't really seen anything-'
'Y/N, it's ok. This is perfect.' Chris said, laughing. 'Its just perfect.'
'Oh my God.' You were starting to panic a bit. 'So you're famous. You're a celebrity? Great.'
'Hey hey, I'm just Chris.' He shrugged.
'Wow - rich, famous and modest.' You joke, making him laugh more. 'So, do you go by Chris or, do you have a Korean name or something?'
'Mhm...Bang Chan. Most of the time.' He replied, nodding, and you draw in a breath.
'Have definitely heard that name before. Yes, Stray Kids.' You cover your face with your hands. 'I'm so embarrassed, Chris. I'm so sorry.'
He just put his arms around you, pulling you against his chest.
'You're so cute, Y/N. You're killing me.' Chris mumbled, hugging you tight.
It's so strange that you feel completely at ease in his arms.
'I'll miss you when you go back to Seoul.' You mumble against his chest, putting your arms around him.
Chris sighed, holding you tighter.
'I’ll miss you too, darling. But we’ll keep in touch, right? Calls, texts, anything.' He said, and you feel him place a soft kiss on top of your head.
Tumblr media
You couldn't stop the tears from falling as you watched him loading the cab with his things. You sniff and clear your throat, trying to look as normal as you could.
'Yahh, don't be sad, you can always keep in touch.' His friend Minho said with a smile.
'And you can visit us anytime.' Felix added, ruffling your hair fondly. 'Don't cry, sweetheart.'
Chris pulls you into a hug and then as if he was losing his resolve, sighs before taking your hand and pulling you into the building. Pressing you against the wall, he leans close and says, 'Promise me you’ll visit me in Seoul. Tell me, this is not the end.'
You look up at him, tears threatening to spill.
'I promise.'
The next thing you knew, kissing you. His lips are soft, yet demanding and you just pull him as close to you as you could. When he lets go, your breaths mingle, coming out in white puffs in the cold
'I’ll be waiting.' He whispered and you smiled, kissing his cheek.
Your heart hurts as you watch him go, but your friends hug you and you're all laughing as they wiggle their eyebrows at you. You leave for home the next day and fall into your own routines.
Tumblr media
You spoke over video calls and texted all the time, so you were quite content. Though you hadn't made anything official, the way he treated you and flirted with you made you feel nothing less. A few months into this, Chris had started asking you to plan a visit to Seoul. You were conflicted because you weren't sure if you could afford such a trip. And everything that came with it. You had been saving up ever since you got back, but you were still unsure.
'Please, Y/N. Come see me, I miss you so much!' Chris whined. 'I want to show you my world.'
'I will, Chris. I just need some time,' you would reply, your heart aching to be with him.
You saw that they were having a comeback soon and they were having so many concerts lined up. This felt like a good time to finally plan something. You brought this up with Jennie and Lisa, asking if they wanted to go with you. Jennie was screaming a big yes, but Lisa apologized and said that she couldn't.
So you and Jennie start planning. Tickets were booked - both flight and concert ones. Then you speak with Minho and Felix to plan a surprise for Chris. You were so excited, but nervous at the same time. This was so new to you, it was overwhelming.
Tumblr media
The concert hall was packed with screaming fans and the energy, electrifying. You were sweating and in awe as you watched Chris perform. He was mesmerizing on stage, not to mention, hot. Jennie was screaming beside you, way too excited to be here, and her energy was infectious - you had the best time.
After the concert, you made your way backstage, heart pounding. You meet Minho, who hugs you and takes your hand, leading you in. You could hear Chris's voice, as he told the boys how well they did. Felix saw you and flashed you a grin before looking back at Chris. The rest of the members too glance at you, smiling and waving. Chris turned around with a frown on his face and he froze as he saw you.
He was sweating so much, he was literally drowning in it. Yet, he looked just so beautiful, you wanted to cry. You stare at each other, a lot of emotions crashing in. Chris's expression went from disbelief to pure joy in just seconds.
'No way!!' He rushed to you, pulling you into a tight embrace. 'You came! You came!'
'I promised, didn't I?' You whispered, tears stinging your eyes.
He pulled back to cup your face in his hands and then he kissed you. Right in front of everyone. His friends laughed, screaming at you two to take it elsewhere. Laughing, he took your hand and pulled you into his dressing room. The moment the door closed, his lips were on yours again, urgent but tender.
'You have no idea how much I've dreamed of this, baby. You've made my day. Oh my God, I can't believe you're here.'
'Fuck, if I don't get you home right now, I'll just fuck you here.' He growled, standing up quickly and making his way out to call out to Minho. They speak in hushed voices before he takes your hand again. He takes you to his dorm, and he asks you a hundred times if he could fuck you before you just kiss him silent and then he makes love to you.
You end up on the couch, on his lap as he kissed you more. He was so warm after all the dancing, but still seemed to have enough energy for you. His lips left wet kisses on your neck and chest.
He was so shy and giggly, you wouldn't have thought Chris would be like that. Hell, he was even more shy than you were. You lay in each other's arms, kissing very late into the night, just elated that you were finally together again.
Tumblr media
Over the next few days, Chris shows you around Seoul whenever he was free. You knew this was a very busy time for him, but he wanted to do everything he could. Most of the time, you just went out to eat and then came back home to make love because he was already crying over the fact that you had to go back home.
Your favorite spot was a cute little cafe near his dorm, where you would go late at night for some snacks. His friends loved you and Jennie so much that sometimes he had to wrestle you out of their company for some alone time.
The day before you had to leave, Chris took to a beautiful view point from where you could see the entire city.
'Baby, I don’t want us to be apart anymore. I mean, it was doable before you came, but I don't think I can anymore. I want you here with me. I know it's a lot to ask, and you take all the time you want to think. But I really really want you to move here, with me.'
You are dumbstruck for a moment. Moving to your current city from home had been hard. And to move your entire life to Seoul? You see the hope and love in Chris's eyes and sigh. You didn't want to spend a minute away from him. But you were so scared.
'I'll think about it.' You hear yourself say.
'I love you, Y/N. And I want to be with you. I want you to be my girlfriend. I want you to be my partner.' Chris said, kissing your cheek.
Your heart soar as you say, 'I love you too, Chris, and I want you. I want to be girlfriend.'
You're so happy, you pull him into a tight hug. You kissed under the stars, feeling happy and anxious all at the same time. You were crazy about him, and for now, all you could think of was making this work.
Chris couldn't stop hugging you as you stood in front of the departures gate at the airport. Jennie watched with a little smile on her face as the idol kissed her best friend way too many times.
'Call me as soon as you land. I'll miss you, baby.' Chris mumblee against your hair, and you hum in response, holding on to him.
'I'll come, yeah? Don't worry. I love you, bub.' Chris kissed you one more time before Jennie grabbed you and led you way.
Chris smiled as he watched you go. He knew this was good. He had never been this sure about anything else in his life.

I'll Find You
Lily had a bad feeling about this.
Granted, that was nothing new about this war, but something felt intrinsically wrong right now.
Lily and Sirius had gotten a message from Dumbledore stating Benjy and Emmeline had portkeyed back to headquarters to report on their findings, while Jamie and Y/N stayed behind to finish up the stakeout.
Sirius met Lily at her and James’ flat where they decided to head to headquarters to await your arrivals.
The only way to access the headquarters was through portkey – for security purposes – meaning that upon arrival, Lily spent about twenty minutes having to soothe an upset baby Harry.
“Portkey is no way for babies to travel, huh Haz?” Sirius cooed at his godson.
Lily wanted to smile at the view, but she couldn’t shake this heavy feeling in her stomach.
“Something’s wrong, Pads.” She murmured.
Sirius grimaced. “I don’t feel great about this either. I mean, two days of silence at a supposed Death Eater meet-up? What’s that about?”
They followed the sound of gentle conversation when they found Dumbledore and Minerva conversing with Benjy and Emmeline.
“We saw nothing yesterday. I think we need to consider where this intel is coming from because they were either way off or are planning something sinister.” Benjy could be heard saying, causing Sirius to suck in a sharp breath.
“Thank you, Mr. Fenwick. I’ll let you know when we have word.” Dumbledore said as he dismissed the two Order members.
“Mr. Black, Mrs. Potter. And baby Harry...” McGonagall was all business until she spotted the small infant in Lily’s arms. “May I?” She asked.
Lily handed over the child who went with little-to-no fuss.
“What happens if this tip was a bust?” Sirius asked Dumbledore.
Dumbledore took in a breath and looked between his two former students.
“If the tip ends up being wrong, or worse – fabricated – we may need to consider moving the Potter’s into hiding.”
Lily groaned. “There’s a chance the Death Eaters don’t even know about the prophecy.”
“Yes, but desperate people go to great lengths when they feel threatened. We do not want them to find out and, in turn, find you.” Dumbledore argued.
Lily understood; really, she did. But her maternity leave already had her feeling like she was in hiding, and she was sick and tired of feeling so useless.
“There are Voldemort sympathisers in the Ministry, Red. We have no idea what they could know.” Sirius pointed out.
Sirius and Dumbledore spent the next while discussing different aspects of the war, next steps, new leads, past battles, and Sirius’ job at the Department of Magical Law Enforcement before Lily couldn’t take it anymore.
“What time were they supposed to report back?” She spat.
Dumbledore’s eyes moved to consider the redhead. “We agreed no later than 21:30.
Lily looked down at her watch. “Well, it’s 21:45.”
The three sat in silence as they let that fact wash over them.
“They left at 07:45 this morning,” Sirius supplied.
“They met with Em and Benjy before apparating to the location together and scouting the area.” Lily added.
“Okay so fourteen hours in the field? That’s too much.”
“It’s not too much if there hasn’t been any activity.” Dumbledore argued.
Sirius stood up suddenly. “We need to go. Where’s this location?”
“Son, that is not how things work. We cannot risk giving away our intel or sending more people into the front lines of a battle.”
“That’s my partner out there, and my best friend – I cannot stand here and do nothing.” Sirius spat furiously.
“You can, and you will, Mr. Black.” He challenged.
“We’ll give them 45 minutes. If we haven’t received a patronus from them in that time, we’ll reconvene.” McGonagall placated.
Sirius spent the next 37 minutes pacing a hole in the concrete floor beneath him whilst Lily chewed a hole into her lip.
The ringing sound of a portkey suddenly echoed through the room before a figure fell unceremoniously into the wall and slid to the ground. Lily could tell by the size and the sobbing that it was James.
“What happened?!” Sirius barked as all four adults stood and made their way to James.
“Trap. Trapped, it...” James huffed between sobs and coughs before he leaned over and threw up on the floor.
“What’s trapped?” Dumbledore inquired as Harry started to fuss in McGonagall’s arms.
“Minerva, can you take Harry away please?” Lily pleaded. The matriarch offered a quick nod and left the room with the infant.
“Death Eaters - it was a trap - she knew.” James got out through gasps.
He was covered in ash and dirt with various wounds bleeding along his person.
“Who knew?” Lily asked.
“Vix! She knew!” He screamed in agony.
“Where is she?” Sirius asked quietly.
James continued trying to breathe through his hyperventilating.
“WHERE IS SHE?!”
“She’s gone, Pads, she...” James paused as he threw up again. Lily couldn’t tell if he was sick from his grief or his wounds. Perhaps both.
“No, no. She’s not gone. She was just with you. You left with her this morning.” Sirius argued calmly. “Where is she?”
James shook his head as his face crumpled in agony and tears spilled from his eyes.
“She saved me, she...she made sure I got out. I’m sorry, Sirius.”
“I don’t need you to be SORRY, I need you to TELL ME WHERE SHE IS.” Sirius bellowed.
“Sirius...” Lily whispered.
“Fuck OFF. Where IS SHE? WHERE IS SHE?”
“Sirius, son, I need you to calm down.” Dumbledore spoke quietly.
“I need to find her. I’ll find her. Tell me where she is. Where is she?”
“She’s GONE. She’s GONE, I FUCKING KILLED HER IT’S ALL MY FAULT.” James sobbed.
“She can’t fucking be gone! She can’t! I just kissed her goodbye this morning, I just saw her! SHE WAS JUST WITH YOU.”
“There were anti-apparition wards up when she started to be concerned about – about it being a trap since we hadn’t seen anything all day. There was fiendfyre. They were burning the fucking building down. Then I was hit and I...I don’t know. She got us out, and then...and-and then a bombarda and she...”
“No.” Sirius said plainly.
“Pads.”
“No.”
“She told me, she told me to go. She said-”
“No.”
“She told me to thank you for her, that she didn’t regret a thing.”
“No.”
“That she was so grateful for you, and that loving you was worth every minute of it. She’d do it again.”
“Stop.” Sirius begged miserably.
“She said she loved you.”
“SHE DIDN’T LOVE ME. SHE LOVES ME.” Sirius screamed.
“She loves me NOW! Not loved me past! I have to find her. I have to find her. Red,” He turned his sights to Lily.
“Please, please. I have to find her. Please, I have to. I’ll find her. Please.”
Lily’s tears were streaming down her face. “I’m sorry, Sirius.”
“Don’t be sorry! Don’t, I-” He looked desperately to everyone in the room.
“I don’t want anyone to be sorry! I just want her! I need her, please...” he sobbed.
“I’m sorry.” James repeated.
“STOP FUCKING SAYING THAT!”
“Sirius.” Lily murmured.
“I have been on countless missions with your wife, and I have always brought her home, back to you!” Sirius spat furiously at James. “I’ve never let anything happen to your wife. I TRUSTED YOU! Y/N... she-she trusted you!”
James sobbed again as his face contorted in agony.
“Sirius, that’s not fair.” Lily pleaded.
“Fuck off! What’s not fair is you get to go home with your husband tonight and Y/N is gone.” Sirius bellowed as his face fell in realization. “She’s gone.” He whispered.
The room fell painfully silent as Sirius stared into space, murmuring to himself.
“She loved me...not loves me...I said goodbye...a kiss, she had breakfast, what did she eat? What did she have for breakfast this morning.  Oh gods, I can’t remember.”
“Sirius.” Lily asked gently as she went to touch his shoulder. He flinched away from her.
“I think she had cereal; it was cereal. She had cereal for breakfast. I think her bowl is still in the sink. Oh gods, her things. All of her things. She can’t be gone? She can’t be gone...I have all of her things. She needs her things...she’s-” He was cut off by a shuddering breath.
“My girl.” He whispered in agony.
The other three members let Sirius gather his thoughts before his eyes flew to Lily.
“Lily...she...”
“I know, Pads.”
“I can’t do this without her.”
“I know, Pads.”
The heavy weight of the loss began to settle amongst the friends before Dumbledore spoke solemnly.
“I think it’s time the Potter’s go into hiding.”

Hi!!! Hope you're still doing alright because you said you were writing in the hospital 😭💦 whatever happens I hope you will recover soon and keep yourself safe/stay healthy!
And I want to say that I really like the way you write about Mizu, you write it in a way that doesn't look OOC and makes me feel like I'm in the story, through the way you write I can feel how much you spent. time and love to complete a story and I really enjoyed it 😭‼️ I'm a picky person when it comes to choosing fics to read about Mizu but your stories blew me away! ! I hope that in the future you will continue to give love to Mizu and continue to write Mizu x reader stories like that and I will continue to support you 😭🫶
Also, I have this idea I wanted to share it's about the reader being someone active on the internet like she always caught the trend and filming clips online like on tiktok or some, and sometimes makes videos with Akemi! She's always looked like a carefree person but in her private draft, she posts a lot of vids if not say all of them are about Mizu or Mizu and her. There's a video it writes "Wife reveal" on top and under is a clip of Mizu doing the random thing ever, and other are videos she posts about how much she loves Mizu and there are videos of their date. No one knows about this private video of her but some random day when the reader leaves the phone alone with Mizu, she gets bored and just wants to take a peek, the reader gives Mizu the password of her phone anyway and she sees all those videos, and gets all blushy when the reader gets back she being a tease and all, when Mizu ask why the reader leave it private she just said it's not like she doesn't like posting about Mizu, she does have public videos about Mizu and her, but those private clips look cringe and stuff, Mizu laughs at the reader cuteness and after they cuddling and get all lovey-dovey.
The rest is really up to you because I want to see more of Mizu's reaction or sum.
I just wanna share my idea, sorry if this gets long 😭‼️ please feel free to write this at any time if you find it interesting, I use Google Translate so I am sorry if there are grammar mistakes my English is not good 🥹 and remember to take care of yourself first!!💖💖
✧⋄⋅⋆⋄✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧
Hey dear!
Thank you so much for all the love /// I'm so happy to receive such kind words. Sometimes I think I'm really bad at writing fanfics since my English isn't that good either and I often find myself comparing my works to others, but messages like these make me turn into goo and I'm so glad that my efforts are able to make you happy.
To those who sent kind messages too, I'm sorry for not replying to them in this manner. I like to go back to them when I feel a bit down about my writing so I want to avoid the hassle of having to scroll through my works ;; All of you really cheer me up I swear <3
How do I even recover from how much I'm melting ///
Please take care of yourself too and I hope that everyone continues to love Mizu too <3
Hope you enjoy! Mwa mwa :*

Giggles and the sound of soft conversations filled with laughter and genuine excitement enveloped the small cafe you had decided to go to with your friend as a way to relax before finals started. The two of you had decided to go on a journaling date together and were excitedly taking pictures of your setup.
"But wouldn't it be cuter if we put the coffee here instead?"
"Let's see—oh shit the ice is melting. Could you pass the napkin?"
"Here. Hurry!"
"W-Wait it might drip on the stickers"
After a bit of fuss, a relieved sigh could be heard from the two of you before the soft clink of the coffee cup being placed on the table. The two of you checked how the setup would look under the camera before Akemi flashed you a thumbs up.
With her signal, both of you started taking pictures and videos. Ideas on how you were going to edit the clips were already running through your mind. "Are you going to use a template or no?" you asked, turning to face your friend.
Lowering down her phone, Akemi put a contemplative look on her face before shrugging. "I saw someone do a cute new edit on Tiktok. I want to try it but it might not fit my feed's aesthetic soooo I'm not sure. What do you think?"
"Wait let me see." She opened up the app before tapping on the video to show you. After watching the video, you looked at her with an equally contemplative face. "I think you're better off editing from scratch. It totally doesn't fit your feed."
"Awww damnit," she sighed with a playful smile on her face. You stuck your tongue out at her, scrunching your nose, a smile tugging up your lips at her laughter.
Friendly dates like these were definitely one of your favorite things in the world. It all started during freshman year when you had just moved in town and had absolutely no one to talk to. Luckily, your seat mate was quite the angel and had talked to you first.
At first, you were quite shy, especially considering how your hobby of vlogging and editing things was something you thought was cringe to say out loud. However, to your surprise, Akemi was more than supportive and even helped you in setting up an Instagram account just for your reels. Through her encouragement, you started gaining the courage to try photo editing and your interest in sharing and documenting the events in your life through posting on social media snowballed into an even bigger hobby.
An hour more of chatting and planning your next content, the sound of a motorbike could be heard before the wind chime by the cafe's entrance rang softly. The soft scraping of wood against wood creaked behind you before the sound of someone setting their things down. You didn't need to look back to know that your girlfriend had arrived and just didn't want to interrupt the conversation. Who knows? Maybe she was listening in on it too.
You met Mizu a few years ago in a college party. Akemi had invited you to come since you opened up to her that you were having a difficult time getting to know other people. However, the sweat, the smell of booze mixed with something you could not identify, along with being pushed by the people dancing and moving around was too much for you. Before your friend could drag you along to meet another person, you were already out the door, smoking in the yard.
Meeting someone who had the same idea as you was the least thing you expected to happen, but that's exactly what happened. As you sat down on the garden chair, you heard the soft scraping of another chair pulled beside you. Your eyes scanned the figure, observing their features.
Tall, handsome, quite cold, but at the same time, alluring.
If the night was a person, you were pretty sure they would look like this.
Feeling your gaze, the stranger turned to look at you, making you turn away. However, unable to resist, your eyes glanced at them before going back to pack of cigarettes you had brought only to find out that you had none left. Groaning, you pocketed the empty pack, hand toying with your lighter.
Though the person with you didn't seem to want to talk to you, she suddenly lifted up her own pack for you to get one of her's. You looked at her, taking her nod of approval as a sign to get one. An incredibly awkward silence took both of you as you placed the cigarette between your lips and lit it up.
Taking a deep hit out of it, you cleared your throat slightly before looking up at her. "Seven Stars? I never heard of this brand before," you tried to strike up a conversation, body tense as hell. You internally cursed yourself for even trying to break the ice and possibly making the scene more awkward than it already was.
Immediately, her sharp blue eyes snapped to look at you, burning holes into you, seemingly studying your features. The few seconds that seemed like an eternity to you finally passed and she lit her own cigarette up.
"Yeah, it's from Japan," she replied, blowing a puff of smoke out. Your eyes widen a bit at the sound of her voice. You had expected something a bit deeper, maybe a little less rough? But god, her voice was more attractive than you expected. "I...I see," you replied, instantly regretting how weak you sounded.
Silence and the sound of your exhales were the only sounds of that enveloped both of you. With the newfound attraction you had for this stranger, you mustered up the courage to speak again. "So what brings you here?" you asked, trying to strike up another conversation. She let out a soft grunt as she looked over at you again. "A friend dragged me here."
Her eyes widened as the sound of your laughter reached her ears. Raising an eyebrow, she turned to look at you with a seemingly annoyed expression. "What?" You shook your head at her before taking in another puff. "Sorry, sorry. I just didn't expect us to be in the same situation," you replied, noting how her features softened.
To your surprise, an almost unseen smile ghosted her lips. "A pain, isn't it?" she said, a hint of amusement in her voice. "Oh tell me about. I'm almost scared to drink whatever they mixed in there," you joked. The sound of her laughter warmed your cheeks, the warmth and silk-like smoothness of her chuckles melting you.
"Want to stay here instead?"
"Sure."
After the little exchange, both of you found out that the same friend dragged both of you to the party. Through Akemi's help, the two of you were able to meet more often, exchanging contact information and messaging each other. One thing led to another and soon you found Mizu handing you a bunch of flowers, asking you to be her girlfriend.
Surprisingly enough, despite being extremely introverted and closed off, Mizu was extremely supportive of your hobby. At the start of your relationship, you were very hesitant to ask her for help. Though you wanted to take cute clips of your dates, you'd resort to hiding it from her, taking videos from discrete angles.
But nothing really gets past Mizu's eyes.
She definitely confronted you for it which led to you explaining your hobby and showing her your accounts. As expected, she was a bit skeptical about it at first. But soon enough, she found herself watching your clips, reels, and vlogs on her free time, while she ate, before she slept. Now, she's the one suggesting to go on cute dates for you to film, for you to go out with your friends so you could film cute and trendy dances together, and even hold the camera for you. She even learned all your 'good' angles and learned how to take videos and pictures of you. The surprise on your face when she first insisted that you took photos of your food was priceless.
Out of pure curiosity, she'd sometimes ask if she could see your account using your phone. It was a silly request but you always obliged since you had nothing to hide after all. Her heart would swell with all the traction your posts got. She loved that so many people loved her girlfriend too.
Of course, you dragged her in some of your videos too, making sure that they weren't too awkward for her. Simple matching OOTD fits videos, giving her a short moment in your vlogs, and cute couple trends that weren't too cheesy. You always made sure to ask her for consent to put clips of her in your videos, making them as short or as long as she allowed and only showing the clips she was comfortable with.
Though there were times when your love for her would become overwhelming and you just have the urge to edit cute clips of her. You thought Mizu wouldn't really appreciate so much of herself seen on your public accounts so you secretly made a private account just to dump all those videos in. Videos of her cooking (and sort of failing), during training, and more random clips during your dates. There were some cute ones and some that were definitely heating the place up.
Mizu would never know about this though. You didn't like keeping secrets from your girlfriend, but this one would be your only exception.
The coffee in your cups soon emptied and sticker sheets were exchanged as you and Akemi finished up your little get together. After exchanging your goodbyes and waiting for Akemi's driver to fetch her, Mizu helped you put your helmet on before helping you up her motorbike to go home.
As soon as the two of you got home, you wasted no time telling her everything that happened. From the drinks you ordered to the gossips about Akemi's ex-boyfriend, you did not miss a single detail. And though Mizu appeared uninterested, you could tell by the way her body subtly turned towards you as she cleaned up a bit that she was interested.
After tidying up a bit, the two of you sat in front of the television with you on the carpet with your laptop, editing the clips you took, and Mizu on the sofa watching the new episode of the series she discovered.
Some time later, your girlfriend grew uninterested in the series she was watching and had started taking breaks from it more often, standing up to do random things such as making coffee, bringing you snacks, giving you a random plushie from your shared bedroom.
A small snort left your lips as you watched her refill your coffee for the nth time. "Love...if you're so bored with the show, you can just drop it," you snickered at her, gratefully taking the mug from her and taking a sip. Your lover let out a soft exhale from her nose and rolled her eyes. "I'm not bored," she argued, sitting back down on the sofa. "They're just talking an awful lot."
"Well you need to listen through it if you want to understand their lore." You took another sip of the hot liquid and set the mug down on the coffee table. You could hear her huff from behind you, probably rolling her eyes again. "I don't need to know all this to predict who dies next."
You laugh at her impatience, responding with an eyeroll of your own. Feeling the urge to relieve yourself, you stood up and stretched. "Could you hold on to this for a second? I'll be quick," you said, handing her your phone. She quickly yet carefully took the device in her hand, giving you a small nod before you went to the bathroom.
Mizu sighed and leaned back on the sofa. Though she did deny being bored, she was definitely bored out of her wits. She wanted to see fighting and cool scenes, not a bunch of dialogues. Wasn't action scenes the point of watching action shows?
Unable to take it, she picked up your phone and unlocked it. None of you minded going through each other's phone. It wasn't something the two of you did out of mistrust, but rather, just to check the random things that went through each other's feed out of sheer boredom and curiosity. The difference in content was entertaining, okay?
Tapping on the Tiktok app, Mizu fully expected a plethora of cat videos and celebrity edits to come. However, to her surprise, the account that was open was not one that she was familiar with. Her eyebrows scrunched together in confusion.
wife.dump was the username shown on the profile. Her confusion continued to escalate as she saw the profile picture which was a flower that she recognized as the one she gave you when she asked you to be hers.
Clarity soon took the situation as curiosity got the best of her and she started snooping around the account, looking through the liked videos, then the reposts, and finally the private videos saved in the account. At first, the likes and reposts seemed pretty normal, mostly about cats and how to cook certain foods. But then, as she got to the videos, she realized that it was all...her.
Her making breakfast.
Her making coffee.
Her fixing her motorcycle.
Her, her, and her.
All the videos were edited so cutely too. Admittedly, she wasn't as good as editing as you but she could still definitely see how well these videos were made. From the color grading, sequencing, and even the song choice and timing. Each video with a cute caption talking about what was going on in the video or just plain talking about the things you love about her. She could tell you put a lot of effort into these.
Seriously.
How cute could you be?
Her eyes darted to the bathroom door, checking to see if you were about to go back, then back to your phone. She continued to watch each videos, a dust of pink on her cheeks deepening with each one.
'Wife reveal' and its a video of her doing random things. A clip of her frowning while looking for you, then smiling once she spots you. A clip of her looking a bit nervous as you show the extremely (almost dangerously) red looking chicken wings she cooked. A clip of her keeping a straight face during a round of poker.
She didn't even know some of these clips existed.
Just as she was about to watch the next one, the sound of your strangled whine surprised her. Setting the phone down in one quick motion, her eyes lit up like a deer caught in headlights at the sight of your surprised yet extremely embarrassed face.
"What the hell are you doing?!" you almost screamed, charging towards her and scrambling to get your phone back. Immediately, your lover got up and reached the phone away from you. "Love! Stop it!" you whined at her, feeling your face heat up from sheer embarrassment.
A smirk crept up her lips at your continuous attempt to grab your phone back. The embarrassment and panic continued to bubble through your system as you tried pushing her back down onto the sofa which was definitely a challenge in itself with a girlfriend who took a bachelor's degree in strength building, major in roughhousing, minor in being a rascal.
Several attempts later, the reality of your lover's incredibly strong build sunk in as you tried catching your breath, glaring up at her. Her clear blue eyes, hinted with a bit of mischief, stared back at you before she opened her mouth to speak.
"Wife reveal, huh?" she teased, chuckling as you groaned out loud.
Defeat took over you and you found yourself wrapping your arms around her with your head on her chest. "You're annoying," you huffed at her, words lacking seriousness.
A deep chuckle reverberated from her throat and slowly, she set your phone down to wrap her arms around you as well. "That's no way to talk to your wife," she teased, voice softer than before. You pursed your lips at her and snuggled against her chest. "You better sleep with one eye open, love," you playfully threatened, making her laugh.
You wouldn't admit it but you were relieved that Mizu didn't react badly upon finding out about your secret account.
"With what I've just seen, I hardly think you could do anything harsh especially to me," she teased back, slowly pulling you down onto the sofa with her, guiding you to her lap. "Why did you keep your little secret a secret from me though?"
You looked at her and sighed, blush deepening a bit more. "It's just...you're such a private person and I didn't want to overstep your boundaries," you admitted. "But I couldn't help it, especially when I rewatch the clips I took and you're just...urgh.."
Her hold on you tightened as you snuggled further against her body, warmth running deeper than just physical. "You're just so gorgeous," you finished, sighing deeply. "Every time I see you, it feels like my heart turns into a goopy mess. Even the little things you do is so..so...It's so fucking cute."
The mischievous, teasing smile on her face softened with your explanation. A huge part of her was glad that you found her so damn attractive that you couldn't help yourself and the other part was almost in disbelief. Did you seriously find her that attractive?
Damnit, you're so fucking cute.
Mizu ran her fingers through your hair, letting you rest your head on her shoulder. A bit of silence going on between the two of you before she gently kissed the top of your head reassuringly. "Love, I don't mind," she said with a soft fond smile. "It's quite adorable, actually."
"But aren't you uncomfortable?" you asked, finger tracing down her throat, feeling the soft vibrations as she chuckled. "I could take it down if you feel off about it."
Her heart swelled at how much you cared for her own comfort and for considering her so much. All she could think of was how lucky she was to have such a caring lover. Taking your hand in hers, she placed small kisses against the pads on your fingers, each tender and loving.
"I could never be uncomfortable with something that brings you so much joy."

Minho stared at his phone, the glow of the screen reflecting off his face as the sinking feeling in his chest deepened. He swiped through the familiar messages, rereading the ones you had sent just before leaving for your hometown, as if your words could somehow fill the emptiness that had settled in his apartment. Four hours—just four measly hours since you’d left, and already it felt like something was missing, like a piece of the world had shifted out of place. He had shrugged it off at first, convincing himself it was just the sudden change of routine. You always filled the space with your energy, your laughter bouncing off the walls, your presence making the apartment feel alive. Now, the silence was deafening.
His fingers hovered over the call button, but he stopped himself, feeling strangely embarrassed by how much he wanted to hear your voice. But as he lowered his phone, that nagging feeling in his chest only grew. Minho sighed, stepping over to the window and leaning against the cool glass. Outside, the rain had started to fall, soft and steady, the droplets sliding down the window like tears.
He watched them, his mind drifting to you. Had you remembered to take your umbrella? He wasn’t sure. You were always so careless when it came to things like that. He could easily picture you standing in the rain, a playful grin on your face, arms stretched wide as if you could catch every single drop. You loved the rain in a way that was almost childlike—running out into it without a care, twirling around as if the storm belonged to you. The memory made him smile, but that smile quickly faded as worry crept in. You were prone to catching colds, always sniffling and bundled up after a day spent in the rain, and the thought of you getting sick while he wasn’t there to fuss over you gnawed at him.
Minho rubbed the back of his neck, trying to shake the uneasy feeling. It’s not like you hadn’t gone home before. You’d been apart plenty of times, but this time... it felt different. Maybe it was the way you had hugged him goodbye—soft, lingering, almost hesitant. Or maybe it was the fact that he had been catching himself thinking about you more and more lately, in ways he hadn’t expected. He glanced down at his phone again, tempted to text you, but he hesitated, not wanting to seem clingy.
“Get a grip,” he muttered to himself, but even as he said the words, he couldn’t stop the flood of thoughts running through his mind. What if you hadn’t eaten yet? You always forgot to eat when you got busy. What if you were feeling lonely, too? Should he just call?
He shook his head, grabbed his keys, and decided to head to the store. If he was going to be stuck missing you, he might as well be productive, right? Maybe picking up a few groceries would distract him, even though the thought of you still lingered in the back of his mind. As he walked through the aisles, idly throwing things into the cart, his feet came to a sudden stop in front of the strawberries dipped in chocolate.
Minho stared at the neatly packaged box. You loved those—he couldn’t even count the number of times he’d caught you sneaking one when you thought he wasn’t looking, grinning mischievously as if you’d just pulled off a masterful heist. The memory brought a soft smile to his lips. Without hesitation, he reached out and picked up a box, cradling it carefully in his hand as if it were something precious.
“Just in case she comes by earlier,” he mumbled to himself, though the moment the words left his lips, he realized how ridiculous they sounded. You weren’t coming home for days, and yet, here he was, buying your favorite treat like you might just walk through the door any minute. He stared at the box in his hand, shaking his head in quiet disbelief at how much you had managed to wrap yourself around his thoughts.
Still, he placed the box in the cart, a small part of him not wanting to let go of the idea that you’d be back soon, that you’d come home early, maybe soaked from the rain, grinning like always, and reach for the strawberries with that familiar glint in your eyes.
The cashier raised an eyebrow as he placed the strawberries on the counter, but Minho ignored the look, paying for his groceries without a word. He grabbed the bag and stepped outside, only to be greeted by the sight of rain pouring harder than before, the steady drizzle having turned into a full-blown downpour.
Minho paused, standing under the awning, his eyes fixed on the sky as the rain fell in heavy sheets. His hand instinctively tightened around the grocery bag, his lips pressing into a thin line. “Hope you don’t catch a cold,” he muttered under his breath, as if the words could somehow reach you wherever you were. He didn’t know why, but the thought of you getting sick out there—without him there to nag you about it—made his chest tighten in a way that felt unfamiliar.
He started walking, his shoes splashing through puddles as he made his way back home. The rain drenched him almost instantly, but he didn’t care. His mind was still on you, on the little things you did, the way your laughter filled the apartment, the warmth of your presence.
By the time he reached his door, Minho was soaked through, his hair dripping as he stepped inside, shaking off the rain. He set the groceries down on the counter and, for a moment, just stood there in the quiet, the sound of the rain pattering against the windows. His eyes flickered to the strawberries sitting in the bag, and a small, rueful smile tugged at his lips.
“I’m pathetic” he whispered to himself, though there was no real conviction behind the words. Because deep down, he knew the truth—he missed you more than he was willing to admit, even to himself.
The absence felt heavier than Minho had expected. Normally, he’d be fine—used to his own space, his own rhythm, comfortable with the quiet. After all, the two of you weren’t official. Just... whatever this was. He couldn't quite define it, even after all this time. You’d confessed to him seven months ago, putting your heart on the line, and despite his uncertainty, he’d agreed to give it a chance. At the time, he didn’t feel the same way. He remembered how he had stood there, somewhat awkward, offering a hesitant smile when you bared your feelings. He wasn't sure what it was that made him say yes—maybe curiosity, maybe not wanting to let you down. He told himself it was no big deal; relationships had never been something he sought out, so what harm could it do?
But now, standing in his quiet apartment, the weight of your absence pressing down on him, Minho realized it had been more than just a casual decision. Somehow, in those seven months, you had become a part of his life in ways he hadn’t even noticed. And the fact that you weren’t here, that he couldn't just turn around and hear your voice or see you sitting on the couch, was hitting him harder than he’d ever anticipated.
It made no sense. Why was he like this? He had always been so self-assured, so independent, even a bit distant. That’s how he’d always been in relationships—cool, detached, keeping his emotions at arm’s length. But now, something had shifted.
He ran a hand through his damp hair, the sound of the rain outside echoing the growing confusion in his mind. This wasn’t just about the rain, or the strawberries, or whether or not you had your umbrella. It was about you—the way your laugh could break through the most frustrating of days, the way your presence filled up the empty spaces in his life without him even realizing it. You’d wormed your way into his heart, slowly, quietly, and now that you were gone, even for a little while, the apartment felt like a void.
Minho leaned back against the counter, staring at the groceries he’d bought and feeling foolish for thinking he could distract himself with errands. He had convinced himself for months that he could keep his feelings in check, that he wasn’t falling for you—not really. He was just getting used to you being around, that was all. But now, standing here alone, the truth was staring him in the face, undeniable and clear.
He missed you more than he could handle. And maybe, just maybe, that meant he had fallen for you much harder than he ever intended.
Minho found himself sitting by the window, his forehead resting against the cool glass as he stared out at the relentless rain, waiting for his phone to buzz. The hours ticked by painfully slow, each minute dragging on longer than the last. He kept glancing at his screen, willing a message to come through—just a quick text from you saying you made it home safely, or even a photo of something silly from your trip, anything to remind him that you were okay.
But the phone stayed silent.
The longer he waited, the harder it became to ignore the growing knot in his stomach. He told himself he was overreacting, that there was no reason to feel like this. You were probably just busy with family, caught up in conversations, or maybe your phone had died. It wasn’t like you were ignoring him, right? But as the minutes turned into hours, his mind started to spiral, imagining every worst-case scenario. What if you hadn’t made it home? What if something happened to you in the rain?
Unable to bear the worry any longer, Minho grabbed his phone and scrolled through his contacts, landing on Chan’s name. He hesitated for a second before hitting call. He didn’t know why he was doing this—Chan wasn’t going to have any answers—but he needed to talk to someone before he drove himself crazy.
When Chan picked up, Minho immediately launched into his rambling, words tumbling out faster than he could control. He told Chan about how you hadn’t texted him back, about how quiet the apartment felt without you, and how stupid it was that he couldn’t stop worrying about the rain. He was trying to convince himself that it was normal to miss you this much—right?
Chan, always the one to cut through the nonsense, listened patiently before letting out a soft chuckle. “Dude, you’re stupid.”
Minho frowned. “What? No, it’s not like that.”
“Then why are you freaking out like it is?”
Minho opened his mouth to argue but found himself at a loss for words. Why was he freaking out? This wasn’t like him. He never got this worked up over anything, let alone a girl. He had always been calm, collected, the guy who didn’t get attached too quickly. So why did it feel like the world was out of balance just because you hadn’t texted him back?
“You miss her,” Chan added with a knowing tone, “and not just in a ‘friend’ way. Just talk to her, make it official already.”
Minho’s frown deepened. “What? No, it’s not—” he tried again, but Chan cut him off.
“Minho, you’re over here obsessing about her catching a cold. If that’s not something a guy in love would do, I don’t know what is.”
He scoffed, trying to brush it off as Chan’s words echoed in his mind. After a few more minutes of light-hearted teasing, Minho hung up the call, tossing his phone onto the couch. But he couldn’t shake what Chan had said.
The seed had been planted.
Why was he freaking out so much? You were just visiting your family. You’d text him back soon. Right?
But as more hours passed, Minho’s worry only grew. He sent another message, then another—short, casual texts that he hoped didn’t seem too frantic. "Hey, you good?" "Hope you made it okay." But each time he looked at his phone, there was still nothing.
His stomach twisted, mind spiraling into those worst-case scenarios again. What if something had happened to you? What if you’d slipped in the rain or gotten into an accident? What if you were hurt and he had no way of knowing? He stood up, pacing the room, running his hands through his hair as his thoughts grew more frantic with each passing minute.
Minho clenched his phone tighter, staring at the screen like it held the answer to all his questions. Should he go over there just to check? He knew it was irrational, but the fear gnawing at his chest was becoming impossible to ignore.
No. He couldn’t wait anymore. The longer he sat there, the more the silence gnawed at him, twisting his worry into something unbearable. Grabbing his bag without a second thought, Minho bolted out of his apartment, heart pounding as he headed straight for the train station. His feet carried him as if they had a mind of their own, his phone clutched tightly in his hand, just in case you texted. But there was nothing—no message, no missed call.
Before he knew it, he was sitting on the train to your hometown, the rhythmic clattering of the tracks doing nothing to calm his nerves. His mind raced with possibilities, each one worse than the last, and he felt increasingly foolish for panicking like this. What if you were just busy with your family? What if your phone really had died? But even as these thoughts tried to rationalize his behavior, that nagging feeling wouldn’t leave. He needed to see you, to know you were okay.
Halfway through the journey, Minho’s phone buzzed in his pocket. He snatched it up, half-hoping it was you, but saw Changbin’s name flashing on the screen instead.
"Hey," Minho answered, his voice a bit strained.
"Yo, what’s up with you? Chan told me you’re freaking out over a girl," Changbin teased, his tone lighthearted but laced with curiosity.
Minho sighed, leaning his head back against the seat. "It's not—" he started, but then he stopped himself. He didn’t even know how to explain what he was feeling. "I don’t know, man. I just... something feels off. She hasn’t texted me, and I can’t stop thinking about it. I’m on a train to her hometown right now."
"Wait, what? You're going to see her?" Changbin’s surprise was clear through the phone.
"Yeah. I know it sounds crazy, but I couldn't just sit there anymore. I needed to see her, make sure everything’s fine."
There was a pause on the other end before Changbin spoke again, a bit more serious this time. "Bro, you don’t just do that for someone you don’t care about. Maybe Chan’s right—maybe you need to stop pretending this is casual..."
Minho's eyes lingered on the window, watching the train pass by those pink-leafed trees you adored so much. You used to gush about how beautiful they were, how they reminded you of something magical, like a fairytale scene. He couldn’t help but smile at the thought of you twirling under those trees, arms outstretched, just like you did in the rain. His mind drifted, far away from Changbin's voice on the phone.
There was a long pause before Changbin’s laugh suddenly broke through. “Dude, are you in love?”
The question hit Minho harder than expected, making him freeze. His breath caught in his throat as the words echoed in his mind, weaving their way through his thoughts. Was that it? Was that why he was sitting here, racing toward your hometown, heart pounding like he was on the edge of a cliff? Love?
His hands clenched around his phone as he thought about you—really thought about you. Your smile, the way your eyes crinkled at the corners when you laughed, how you'd lean in close when you spoke, like every word was meant just for him. The way your presence lit up his apartment, filled the silence with warmth and energy.
Suddenly, Minho wasn’t listening to Changbin anymore. His world had felt wrong ever since you left, like it was missing its center, and now, he knew why.
Love.
The word felt foreign and familiar all at once. His chest tightened as he thought about all the little moments that had led him here, sitting on this train, desperate to see you. The way you’d brush your hair behind your ear, only for it to fall right back in front of your face, and how he’d always feel the urge to reach out and tuck it back for you. The mornings where you’d bring him a cup of coffee with a shy smile, and he’d wonder if you knew how much those simple gestures meant to him. You made his world feel lighter, like everything made sense when you were near.
"Yeah…" Minho whispered to himself, the word slipping out before he could even process it. Love. That’s what this was. That’s why he couldn’t sit still, why the thought of not hearing from you was unbearable. He wasn’t just missing you—he was missing something far deeper, something he had been too stubborn to admit until now. He missed the way you made him feel whole, like you were a piece of his life that he didn’t realize he needed until it was gone.
He glanced down at his phone, heart hammering in his chest, realising that Changbin had cut the call long ago. Without thinking, he typed out another message, his fingers shaking slightly as they hovered over the screen.
“I miss you. More than I thought I would.”
He stared at the message, unsure if it would reach you, if you’d even see it. But somehow, saying it out loud—admitting it, even in a text—felt like a weight lifting off his chest.
His lips curled into a small, incredulous smile as he leaned back in his seat. Love. The realization left him breathless, but it also brought him a sense of calm he hadn’t felt in hours. He didn’t know what you’d say when you saw him, but he knew one thing for certain: he wasn’t going to lose you. Not now. Not when he finally understood just how much you meant to him.
"God knows the world needs an angel like you," he muttered to himself, chuckling softly as he watched the landscape blur by. "At least, my world does."
*
As you took a sip of your drink, your mother suddenly broke the silence with a question that made you pause.
“So, are you seeing someone?” she asked casually, but there was a hint of curiosity in her tone.
You hesitated for a moment, glancing down at your plate. “I’m kinda…courting someone,” you admitted, feeling your cheeks warm slightly at the admission.
Your father, sitting across the table, raised an eyebrow. “Courting? Does this guy even like you?” His tone was laced with disapproval, the protective fatherly instinct kicking in.
You sighed softly, already anticipating this kind of reaction. “I don’t know… I think so. He agreed to give it a chance, and I’ve been trying,” you explained, though your father’s skeptical look didn’t ease.
Before he could say anything else, your sister chimed in, leaning forward with a curious grin. “Are you guys touchy? Like, do you hold hands, kiss, anything like that?”
You shook your head with a small laugh. “No, not really. He’s kind of reserved. We mostly side hug.”
Your sister frowned at that, a playful but concerned look crossing her face. “Side hugs? Maybe he doesn’t like you,” she teased, though there was a hint of genuine worry in her voice.
You shrugged off the comment, trying not to let it bother you. “It’s fine. He’s just not that kind of person.”
The conversation shifted after that, but the weight of your sister’s words lingered in your mind. What if Minho really didn’t like you the way you liked him? You pushed the thought aside, determined not to dwell on it, and later in the day, your family decided to go fishing for dinner.
You joined them, laughing as you helped set up near the water. But in the middle of the trip, as you reached for your phone to check the time, it slipped from your grasp and tumbled straight into the water with a soft plop.
Panic immediately set in as you and your family scrambled to retrieve it, but by the time you fished it out, the damage was done. The phone wouldn’t turn on, and your mother, ever the problem solver, quickly suggested putting it in rice.
“It’ll be fine by tomorrow,” she reassured you as she tucked it into a bowl of rice, but you couldn’t shake the worry that was gnawing at you. You hadn’t seen any messages from Minho before your phone fell, and now, you were completely cut off from him for the rest of the night.
you sat by the shore, trying to calm your racing thoughts. The fishing trip had started off with the usual fun, but now all you could think about was your phone—your only link to Minho. You knew he wasn’t the type to blow up your phone with messages, but something told you he might’ve reached out by now. Maybe. Hopefully.
Your mind wandered back to lunch, to the conversation with your family that had left you feeling uneasy. The teasing from your sister, your father’s disapproving tone—it all stirred up doubts that you’d been trying to bury. What if Minho didn’t like you the way you liked him? What if all this effort, these seven months of trying to show him how much you cared, weren’t enough to change his heart?
You threw a pebble into the water, watching the ripples expand outward. The uncertainty weighed heavy on you, making your stomach twist in knots. A part of you wanted to believe in what you had with Minho, in the quiet moments between you, the shared glances and smiles. But another part couldn’t help but question whether it was one-sided. He’d never given you any grand gestures or confessions, just the small moments. And while those were meaningful to you, were they enough for him?
Your mother’s voice called out from behind, snapping you out of your thoughts. “Honey, stop worrying. The phone will be fine by tomorrow,” she said with a gentle smile. But she didn’t know the real reason for your unease.
As you sat there, staring at the horizon, you wondered what Minho was doing. Was he thinking about you too? Did he miss you? even a little? The idea seemed so far-fetched at times, given how distant he could be. Yet, despite everything, you couldn’t stop the warmth that spread through you when you thought of him.
The evening passed slowly, your family’s laughter fading into the background as your thoughts remained with Minho. As night fell and the stars began to twinkle overhead, you found yourself staring up at the sky, hoping that somehow, despite the distance, Minho was looking at the same stars, thinking of you. Maybe, just maybe, he was missing you too.
The train ride was long and restless. The rhythmic clattering of the wheels over the tracks should have lulled him into some semblance of peace, but Minho’s thoughts were a whirlwind. Every passing town, every blurred landscape outside the window, only intensified his anticipation. He had been overthinking, imagining what he’d say when he saw you again—if you’d even want to see him after all this time. But none of it mattered now. He was finally here.
When the train pulled into the station, the rain had just begun to lighten, turning into a soft drizzle that misted the air. He quickly hailed a taxi, his pulse racing as they drove through roads toward your home. His heart leaped into his throat when the cab finally pulled up at the gate of your house. And there you were, standing by a bonfire with your family, laughing, trying—and from the looks of it, failing—to cook fish. The smoke billowed around you, chaotic and wild, but somehow it was perfect.
It was so you.
For a moment, Minho just stood there, frozen in place. His chest tightened with emotion, his eyes lingering on the scene in front of him. You looked happy, content. And as much as he tried to tell himself that was enough, the burning need to be with you—to be close to you—overwhelmed him. He didn’t wait a second longer.
Without a word, Minho threw open the taxi door, letting his bags drop haphazardly at the gate. His feet moved on their own, propelling him toward you as fast as they could. The world around him faded away—the drizzle, the chilly wind, the astonished faces of your family watching in confusion as he ran. None of it mattered. Only you did.
You barely had a chance to react before he reached you. In one swift motion, Minho scooped you up into his arms, pulling you into a rib-crushing hug that left you breathless. He lifted you off the ground as though you weighed nothing, holding you close as if you might slip away if he let go even for a second.
“Minho?” Your voice was small, stunned, as you clung to him, your heart pounding wildly in your chest. It was like a dream—a dream you hadn’t dared to believe in.
But he was here. He was really here.
Your family, on the other hand, was frozen in shock. Your father’s brow furrowed as he took in the sight of the two of you, his protective instincts immediately flaring. “This man,” he started slowly, voice tinged with disbelief, “I suppose, is the boyfriend you’ve been courting?”
Still pressed against Minho’s chest, you could only nod, your arms wrapped tightly around his neck. Your sister’s jaw dropped, her eyes flicking between you and Minho in sheer disbelief. “Wait, this is the guy you’ve been talking about? The one who’s ‘not touchy’?” She raised her eyebrows and smirked, barely able to contain her laughter. “Not touchy, huh?” she teased, her voice dripping with amusement.
But Minho didn’t care about any of it. The teasing, the prying questions—they barely registered in his mind. All he could focus on was the way you felt in his arms, solid and real. He buried his face in your hair, his voice muffled and low as he whispered, “I just missed you too much.”
You felt the warmth of his breath against your ear, sending shivers down your spine. His words hung in the air, laden with all the unspoken feelings he had carried with him. He wasn’t usually one to be this open, this vulnerable. But now, there was no holding back.
Your family, however, didn’t seem quite ready to let the moment pass. Your mother exchanged a knowing glance with your father, her eyes sparkling with mischief. “Well, I think we’ve all seen enough to confirm that someone’s feelings are more than just ‘casual’,” she said with a grin, nudging your father playfully.
Your father, arms crossed and lips pressed into a tight line, finally let out a resigned sigh. “As long as he treats you well,” he muttered, though there was no real venom in his words. He shot Minho a warning look but couldn’t completely hide the slight smirk tugging at the corner of his mouth.
Your sister wasn’t done teasing. “So...side hugs, huh? What happened to that?” She wiggled her eyebrows suggestively, clearly enjoying the shift in your relationship dynamic. “Looks like someone finally figured out what they were missing.”
You blushed, a mix of embarrassment and happiness coursing through you, but Minho didn’t let go. He pulled back just enough to look you in the eyes, his gaze soft yet intense. His hands rested firmly on your waist, and for a brief second, the world seemed to slow down. The rain had stopped completely now, leaving the air thick with the smell of wet earth and smoke from the bonfire. The glow of the fire flickered in his eyes as he looked at you with a tenderness that made your heart ache.
And he tucked that strand of hair behind your ear. Finally.
“I couldn’t wait any longer,” Minho confessed, his voice hoarse with emotion. “I couldn’t stop thinking about you. The second you left, everything felt wrong. I didn’t realize how much I needed you until you weren’t there.”
Tears pricked at the corners of your eyes, but they were the good kind—the kind that came with relief, with finally hearing the words you had been longing for. “I missed you too,” you whispered, your voice thick with emotion. “So much.”
Your family, finally decided to give you some space. Your mother, ever the sentimental one, pulled your father away by the arm. “Let’s leave them to it,” she said softly, though her tone held a note of satisfaction. She glanced over her shoulder one last time, smiling warmly.
Your father grumbled something incoherent under his breath but followed your mother’s lead. Your sister shot you a wink before sauntering off. “Don’t do anything I wouldn’t do,” she teased with a grin, her voice fading as she disappeared into the house.
Finally, it was just you and Minho, standing by the dying flames of the bonfire. The air was thick , and for the first time in a long while, everything felt right.
Minho cupped your face gently, his thumb brushing over your cheek. “I love you,” he whispered, the words hanging heavy between you. It wasn’t a grand declaration—it was quiet, simple, but it was the truth.
You smiled, your heart soaring. “I love you too.”
Without hesitation, Minho leaned in, pressing his forehead against yours as his hands slid down to hold yours. The fire crackled beside you, casting a warm glow over both of your faces as you stood there, wrapped in each other’s presence. In the distance, you could still hear the faint laughter of your family, but it felt distant—like it belonged to another world entirely.
Right now, it was just you and Minho.
Nothing else mattered.

Series Masterlist
X--X--X--X
You weren’t entirely certain who was fussing over you more, Natasha or Wanda. Both seemed to have a difference in opinion when it came to what you should wear. Natasha suggested some fitting jeans and a crop top while Wanda was suggesting some denim shorts and an off-shoulder cardigan. To be honest, neither appealed to you much seeing as you’d be leaving shortly.. The thought saddened you for some reason. You had only spent maybe half an hour with everyone (half of which was with the two in front of you. Not that you were complaining), yet you knew you wanted to spend more time with them. Sighing you stood up from the bed. Both stopped arguing and looked at you inquisitively.
“So, which one do you like more?” Wanda asked eagerly.
“Yeah, whose style is better?” Natasha challenged.
Rolling your eyes you walked past both of them and picked out a simple T-shirt and sweatpants and walked into the bathroom to change. Opting to look in the opposite direction of the mirror, you changed and folded the scrubs neatly. Deciding to put them in the laundry basket. You stepped out and faltered when you saw both of them glaring at you.
Why is that so fucking hot- No. NO. y/n control yourself. You are not going down that road. You-
“I have to say, you could’ve done better” Natasha said.
“It’s the comfiest option. Besides, I’ll be mail these back to you the moment I get home” you said placatingly.
The two glanced at each other, then looked back at you.
“Y/N I-“
A loud knock interrupted whatever Wanda was going to say.
“Are you girls done playing dress up? The food is here already” You heard Pietro yell from outside the room.
Huffing and calling her brother some colourful names in Sokovian, Wanda started towards the door, you and Natasha just behind her.
The conversation seemed to stop abruptly the moment you entered the room. All eyes on you once again. You were considering apologising for existing and leave when you felt a soft hand on your lower back. You instinctively knew it was Wanda’s and you resisted the urge to lean into her hand. Seriously, what was wrong with you? You’ve never acted that way with anyone.
Taking a deep breath, you steeled your nerves and sat at one end of the table. It seemed a little odd as everyone was more on the opposite side but you didn’t know whom to sit next to. The next thing you new Wanda and Natasha had sit down on either side of you. Something you were extremely grateful for.
“Right. So.. um.. Let’s eat?” Steve suggested.
Immediately everyone opened up the tower of pizza boxes and grabbed a slice. You prayed they had a vegetarian option because all you could see was pepperoni other meaty options. Without hesitation, Wanda passed you a plate with a slice of plain cheese pizza.
“Thank you. It’s like you read my mind” You said off-handedly as you took the plate.
Pietro choked on his bite and Nat patted his back with a smirk on her face.
Thor looked at you in question as he shoved two slices into his mouth simultaneously.
You simply shrugged and stated by how you were vegetarian. Tony froze and immediately spoke out loud “FRIDAY please remember that y/n is a vegetarian”
You looked at him quizzically. Why would it matter-
“Understood boss.” Came a female voice from somewhere.
You stopped mid bite and looked up at the ceiling.
“God?” You wondered out loud.
“Yes?” Thor replied immediately.
Everyone burst out into laughter as you chuckled, completely embarrassed.
“That’s Tony’s AI, ‘Friday’. Anything you need, it can help you do” Bruce stated.
Your eyes widened.
“AI? Like Artificial Intelligence? Like genuine artificial intelligence” You asked.
Confused, Bruce nodded.
You gasped, turned to Tony who was just as confused as Bruce was.
“Oh my god that’s amazing. You could use the AI’s interface as an introductory step to the analysis of anything and everything?? Or you could connect it to modern appliances and provide a level of comfort for those with disabilities?? Or you could use it to efficiently calculate the resources required to provide food to the population? Or- um.. Never mind. Sorry” You shrank in your seat.
Once again, all eyes were on you as you had finished your rant.
“That.. um.. Yeah. We could use it for that.” Tony said, looking a little sheepish. “But at the moment we’re.. um.. using it-“
“we’re using it to order dinner” Bruce finished, looking equally sheepish.
You just stared at them. Of all the possible ways a successful AI could help this world.. They used it to.. order takeout?
Steve cleared his throat.
“Anyway” he started “Clint told us that during the fight in Sokovia, you had healed the injured?”
You shifted your gaze from Tony to Steve and nodded, confused.
“Would it be okay if we ask you a little about it? Just the extent of your abilities?” He inquired
Nodding once again, you prepared yourself for the upcoming conversation.
“Could you tell us a little about your abilities?” Natasha asked gently.
Clearing your throat, you began “So my abilities are essentially healing. I can heal anything and everything. Short of death? I think? I’m not sure. I’ve never tried. It feels a little disrespectful to go against the natural order of things. It’s not limited to humans, I can heal animals, plants (kind of?). It doesn’t matter how severe the injury is. If you lose an arm, I can heal you so it grows back. If you’re shot, I’ll heal you and the bullets just.. pop out of your body. And um, I can heal myself too? No matter what injury it is, I can heal it. Anything with a soul, I can heal.”
Everyone looked at you impressed, Clint and Pietro merely nodded along already having witnessed it first hand.
“What about gods? Could you heal us?” Thor inquired.
You nodded.
“I’ve never tried to heal a god, but I can heal anything with a soul” you said
“That settles it” Tony said, standing up and walking towards you. “Welcome to the Avengers.”
Your eyes widened.
“Um what? No. I can’t- join the avengers?? I- I have work to do? I’m a- a bartender?” You stammered.
Tony looked at you unimpressed. “We’ll pay you. Your starting salary can be $300k per yea-“
“I’m in” you said determined, causing everyone to burst into laughter. You smiled sheepishly.
Everyone started get up as soon as they realised the matter was settled. Some said they were heading to the game room, while other’s said they’d workout. Everyone made sure to welcome you to the avengers and patted your shoulder as they filed out.
Pietro’s eyes lit up as he had an idea.
“Let me show you to your room, y/n” He said
Wanda and Natasha shot up. Wanda put her hand on your shoulder.
“That’s alright Piet.” She said. “We’ll show her to her new room”
Smirking, Pietro raised his hands in surrender and disappeared.
Your stood up startled.
“Did he just? Teleport? I remember seeing him vanish in Sokovia too” you asked as you followed Wanda and Natasha towards the living quarters.
Natasha chuckled “No, he has an increased metabolism and an improved thermal homeostasis”
You squealed excitedly, “So he’s fast as fuck then. Wow, I wonder what it would feel like to move around while time almost stands still”
Wanda looked at you in surprise.
Your gaze shifted from Natasha to her and you asked whether Wanda had any abilities.
Natasha briefly looked at Wanda and looked away. Wanda on the other hand looked almost guilty or afraid. Seeing her hesitation you quickly assured her that she didn’t have to tell you if she wasn’t comfortable.
“No it’s not that. I just.. don’t want you to by scared of me” She said, not meeting your eye.
By now the three of you had entered your new room but you weren’t paying any attention to that. Your attention was solely on the gorgeous brunette in front of you.
“I highly doubt anything about you would scare me, Wands” you said softly.
Her head shot up at you and blushed slightly at the nickname. You took her hands in yours and encouraged her. She took a deep breath and started.
“I can move t.hings with my mind. I can also read minds and control them if I want.” She said. She waited for the rejection that never came. All you did was rub her knuckles gently.
She looked at you confused. Were you not upset? Weren’t you scared of her?
“I don’t want to ruin the moment but that’s incredibly fucking cool” you said softly. Your tone not matching what you said.
Natasha huffed out a laugh. Wanda, however, was not convinced.
“I- I did things. I hurt the team. I wanted to hurt them.” She started.
You just smiled.
“You’ve more than made up for it, I think” you said.
Natasha smiled at the interaction, nodding in agreement.
“And hey, you’re more than welcome in my mind anytime” You said, bumping shoulders with her.
Wanda frowned. “Are you sure? Aren’t you scared that I’ll read your mind? That I’ll control it or make you see things” she asked.
You shook your head.
“I know I’ve only known both of you for half a day but I already trust you with my life” You said simply.
“Thank you” Wanda whispered. “That means a lot to me”
You brought her in for a hug. She immediately relaxed. She smelled like vanilla. It was incredibly comforting. Eventually, you turned to Natasha, motioning her to join the hug. She rolled her eyes but joined the hug.
“You’re aware I was raised as an assasssin, right?” She said pointedly.
You just hugged the both of them tighter.
“Y’all are so fucking cool” You mumbled to yourself.
A while later, much to your disappointment, they bid farewell as they wanted to get ready for some team building exercises. Something you were apparently invited to. Nodding said bye.
As soon as the two of them stepped out they held hands.
“That woman sure is something” Natasha said with a content sigh.
Wanda giggled and nodded her head. Natasha raised her eyebrow.
“Got something to say Wands” she teased
Wanda in turn shoved her rolling her eyes.
“Nothing to say, princess” Wanda retorted.
Narrowing her eyes, Natasha grabbed Wanda’s arm and shoved her into the wall. Wanda’s breath hitched at the action. Causing Natasha to smirk and step closer until their noses were touching.
“Careful what you say, detka. Don’t forget whose in charge” Natasha husked out, slotting her leg between Wanda’s thighs.
Wanda whimpered and crashed her lips into Natasha’s. Natasha, in turn, bit Wanda’s lower lip causing wanda to gasp. Allowing Natasha to put her tongue in Wanda’s mouth. A soft moan left Wanda’s throat as she fisted Natasha’s t-shirt. Heat starting to pool in Wanda’s belly.
“Shhh kotenok. We don’t want y/n to hear how much of a slut you are, do you” Natasha whispered right next to Wanda’s ear, biting the lobe gently. Wanda shivered in return. Not realising that she had already started to rub her core against Natasha’s thigh, pleasure slowly made it’s way up Wanda’s body. Before they could go any further, your door opened.
“Oh by the way could someone show me where the team building activity is-“ You stopped in your tracks as you looked at what was going on. Wanda was breathing heavy, looking absolutely delicious. Your eyes widened and you backed up into your room and slammed your door shut after letting out an apology.
Wanda came to her senses and shoved her hand onto her face. Natasha on the other hand just chuckled.
“Guess the cat’s out of the bad” She said. “Come on, lets go somewhere where I can take care of you”
Wanda gulped and nodded. While she was embarrassed, she was also extremely turned on at the thought of you watching what happened. Grabbing Nat’s hand she dragged her to her room to finish what Nat had started.
In your room you were absolutely flustered. Your arousal at an all time high. Seeing those two in that position was exactly what worked for you. You fell into your bed. Unable to help yourself, your hands roamed your body, Touching yourself in places that felt oh so good.
These two were going to be the death of you

A little Aonung/Spider I've been working on... (not proofread)
Warning: T rated for this one but might go up to M or E rated when finished (I might add a first time moment at the end of this)
Aonung has had enough.
Can’t they mind their own business?
Yes, he knows Spider is different from him, in more than one way. But he has accepted it. So why do they have to make such a big fuss and be so weird about it?! Three talks! He’s already had to suffer three talks! With their worried expressions and not so subtly allusions he might hurt Spider with his size and his weight, as if he were some sort of horrible brute. It makes him sick, this image they have of him… of them and his love.
Yes, he’s aware making Spider his official mate will be… a conundrum. He’s not stupid. He’s seventeen. He passed his Rite. He’s an adult now. Spider has no Kuru to make the bond with him. He couldn’t even pass his own Rite, being unable to ride a Tsurak like a Na’vi. Jakesully said that Spider can be considered an adult in human standards but the tribe will never validate it - not really. And Spider is small. Child sized. He reaches Aonung at the waist and Aonung isn’t stupid. He noticed how incredibly much larger he is and what it means. Yes, he’s scared. But he knows that adorable tawtute is the one. Did he ever think his mate would be a tawtute? No! But that’s what happened. And now, he’s determined to take things as they are and not as he wishes they were.
He will make this work.
He knows he can, somehow.
That Avatar - Norm - was a great help. He owes him a lot. He’s the one who told him about human physiology and how Spider’s body works. It was probably the only interesting talk he’s had so far… So much better than all the fearful warnings he got from his father, Toruk Makto and even his mother. Neytiri was… her whole sort of weird. That woman is terrifying - poor Toruk Makto. But Norm was different. Norm was… trying. He was instructive.
Aonung wants the evening to be perfect.
He has spent hours preparing everything while Spider was held busy by his very supportive sister. When Lo’ak understands why Tsireya insisted they needed to weave twenty five new nets when most of the used nets seem to be perfectly fine, he might get angry. But that’s an ordeal for another day. Right now, his priority is to finish having things ready when Spider returns to his shack. He hopes the boy will not find him intruding or strange… He has no idea how to court a Sky Person. He knows Spider was born and raised among Na’vi but he still has his own things about him that Aonung can barely start to understand.
It took Spider months to understand the young Na’vi was courting him at all.
He accepted the gifts but with an expression that even Aonung translated as confused. It was only when Kiri told him that Spider had no idea Aonung was courting him at all that he decided to communicate with words and Aonung confessed that he was indeed interested in the tawtute. He thought it would finally settle everything down but then Spider rejected Aonung’s courtship and it hurt. Because Aonung wasn’t expecting to be rejected.
It could have ended right then and there but Aonung was not one to give up and he persisted. He liked this cute but fierce little tawtute and was determined to win him over. It took a moment but Spider eventually confessed his fears and Aonung did his best to reassure him. Yes, they were different species but he was sure they could make this work, somehow.
Then, his parents - and the Sullys - decided to step in and discourage him, arguing that he was going to hurt the little human with his large body and that this relationship had to stop before it even got started.
But Aonung doesn’t care. He knows he can make this work. He knows he can.
Which is why he finds himself currently preparing a pik’nik right in the middle of Spider’s shack, not really knowing if what he’s doing is the right thing at all.
The door of the shack suddenly depressurizes and the metal clicks.
A few seconds later, Spider’s voice rises into the windowless room.
“Hey Nung, Reya said you were looking for me… Why are you in the dark-”
He stops right at the threshold, his sentence finishing itself in the air. Aonung feels his heart beating in the back of his throat. His tail goes rigid behind him and his ears fall backwards. Spider is blinking at him with the most dumbfounded expression he has ever seen on his face, eyes wide, lips parted and Aonung does feel like a fool, his immense body knelt as it can in the middle of the room on a blanket that is already too small for him and that forces more than half of his body on the cold metal floor to leave enough space for the small human to fit. He tried to reproduce as best as he could the pictures Norm gave him but couldn’t find any candles like they had and he didn’t want to risk burning the whole place with a torch so he settled for bioluminescent plants that he put in jars instead. It doesn’t give that warm orange light, the plants basking the room in dim hues of pink and blue that reflect on the walls around them and the floor. He harvested Spider’s favorite human edible fruit and took some bread, vegetables and dippings that he arranged in bowls, as well as swamp nectar and prune juice.
For long seconds, Spider just stays there, watching the display in front of him, stunned and at a loss for words. It doesn’t help alleviate Aonung’s nervousness in the least.
“What… What is that?” Spider eventually asks.
Aonung’s ears flicker. Did he do something wrong? Did he miss something in his… reproduction of tawtute culture?
“It’s uhm… A… pik’nik,” he says, trying to pronounce the foreign word correctly.
Spider blinks, “Oh!”
“You know them, right?” Aonung presses, feeling more and more anxious that his idea completely missed the point.
“Only from Norm and Max’s stories. I never really… had one before…” His face takes on that adorable pink color Aonung loves so much, “But… why?” he asks and he sounds like he has no idea why Aonung went through all that trouble.
“For you,” Aonung explains.
“Me?” Spider repeats as if the concept of someone doing something like this for him is an impossibility.
“Yes, you. Please, come sit with me.”
Spider blinks and wobbles on his legs, joining Aonung on the blanket. He swallows. Aonung smiles. It’s one of the first times he can see Spider without his mask. What a beautiful sight. He takes a deep breath from his own mask.
“Is that… swamp nectar?”
“Yes.”
“Where did you get it?”
Aonung smirks, “I’m the Olo’eyktan son. It comes with privileges!” he says, sounding shamelessly smug and proud of himself.
Spider chuckles and his face flushes again.
They begin to eat, talking about their day. Spider is always shy at first but when Aonung starts speaking with him, he suddenly opens up and can no longer be stopped, going on and on and on about the fish they saw and the nets they weaved and how Lo’ak kept growling the whole time. Aonung smiles and chuckles, watching him. There are so many colors on him when he speaks. It’s like the words are dancing on his skin, each one of them a different emotion that lights him up in so many different shades. His own human bioluminescence. It’s fascinating.
Spider suddenly realizes that Aonung is staring at him intensely. He stops talking and frowns, looking self-conscious again.
“What?” he asks, pouting a little.
Aonung smirks, “You’re beautiful,” he whispers.
Spider swallows, his Adam apple bobbing as he does. Aonung blinks at him. Slowly, he cups his face. His hand is so much bigger, it encircles his head completely. His heart starts beating faster. It’s the first time he can touch his beautiful face, the first time he finally has access to that masterpiece held behind a glass for so long. Gently, he swipes his thumb under Spider’s eye. The skin is so soft.
“Sevin,” he whispers.
Spider swallows again. His eyes are huge. His lips tremble. A breath passes through them, hitting Aonung’s hand with its warmth. He blinks at the tall Na’vi. Aonung bends down slowly toward him. Spider’s breath hitches through his nose and fills his lungs with too much air, making his throat tickle with the need to cough.
Their lips touch for the very first time.
Aonung has already kissed his mask a few times already but nothing compares to this. Spider’s lips are warm and tiny against his. Aonung’s mouth takes almost all of Spider’s lower face and he adjusts his angle not to smother the human and free his nose, making Spider’s chuckle in the kiss. Yes, that size difference is really awkward. But Aounung wouldn’t change it for the rest of the world and laughs. Spider wraps his small arms around Aonung’s neck, his fingers digging into the thick curls. The Na’vi moans at the gentle contact. Slowly, he opens his mouth and pokes the tiny lips with the bit of his tongue, requesting entrance. Spider shakes against him but parts his lips nonetheless and Aonung touches the tip of a tiny tongue and it feels like a spark of electricity. His braid is heavy on his lap. From the corner of his eyes, he sees his Kuru open and the tendrils reach up, desperate to touch the tawtute.
The kiss deepens. Spider’s hand cups Aonung’s face. Aonung strokes the soft skin of Spider’s cheek with the back of his fingers. The kiss is slow, careful. Aonung knows that he can’t push the fragile human and he doesn’t want to. This feels so nice, kissing him and touching him like this. Spider tastes like fruit and Swamp nectar. He’s delightful.
They part. Spider gives him a shy smile and looks down. His lips are a bit swollen and pink. He looks adorable and so much more edible than any of the food on that blanket. Aonung keeps his hand on his face and kisses the tip of his nose gently, making Spider chuckle.
Their eyes meet.
They’re both breathing hard and deep.
Their bodies are hot, heart racing behind their rib cages.
Gently, Aonung lays a soft kiss on Spider’s cheek before diving into the warm crook of his neck. The human’s reaction is immediate. Goosebumps suddenly cover his skin and he moans loudly, tilting his head. Ok, so the neck is very sensitive for humans. Good to know! He gently sucks on the skin, mindful to keep his teeth away and not leave any mark. But that skin is so soft and tender.
“Nung!” Spider whines.
Aonung pulls away and returns to face him with a playful smirk.
“My cute little tawtute is sensitive!” he gently mocks.
Spider turns beet red again but looks down in haste.
“Spi?” Aonung asks, “What’s wrong? Did I hurt you?” he’s suddenly anxious - he did try to be as gentle as he could.
“What?! No! Of course not!”
Aonung relaxes at that.
“Then, what is it?”
He touches Spider’s cheek again, marveling at the softness of that skin he can never feel against his fingers. With his other hand, he takes his mask and breathes deeply in it, the intensity of the kiss having left him a little too dazed for his own good.
Spider shrugs, “Nothing… I just…” shyly, he looks up at the Na’vi, “I just like you, I guess…” he’s quick to look down again.
Aonung feels his heart miss a beat. Here, just the two of them in the confinement of this tawtute shack, in that strange colorful darkness, it feels so much more intimate than in the open of the sea. It fits them. It makes them belong.
“I like you too,” he says, “So much, Ma Spider.”
Spider nibbles his bottom lip, not looking at Aonung. He’s adorable. He smiles and bends down to kiss him again just as gently as the first time. He tastes fruit and swamp nectar again. His mouth is so warm and wet. He loves it. His fingers sink into Spider’s dreads, then on his shoulders, brushing against the blue painted patterns on his skin - he wonders if Spider will let him paint him. His hands find their way down Spider’s arms and onto his waist. The skin is so hard there. There are so many muscles. He’s really beautiful.
His ears fall backwards.
He can feel himself… react. But he won’t give his parents reason. He can control himself. He knows he can. Spider’s is more important than any heat.
“Can I… see you?” he asks in a whisper.
Spider looks up in haste, “What?”
Aonung’s tail swipes nervously behind him, “Can I look at you… I really want to see you, Ma Spider.”
“I’m right here,” Spider babbles.
“Without your Tweng,” the Na’vi specifies with a smirk, “I want to touch you. All of you. If you allow me."
Spider’s eyes widen and he thinks he’s going to faint.
