ok so i'm gonna talk ab my silly little wingfic. it's called burn the skies

basically: skk (amongst some other characters) are strange, human-but-not creatures from a lab. mori rescues them one night, gives them to hirotsu and he raises them. abilities are still a thing, the creature stuff just intersects

Ok im curious, how do you guys come up with a forehead symbol for your iterator ocs? Do they have any meaning behind it? Are they just random squiggles or a symbol forming a distinctive shape?

Is it because he won the All-Gotei Trash Talking Championship, or is this one of those things like tenteikura and opening senkaimon that are just traditional lieutenant duties? He's the only lieutenant present in the first situation. In the second, and in the second, he's the only lieutenant whose...captain is present?

He's also very tall and projects well. Ikkaku is also good at hollerin', but he this happens two panels later, so it's unsurprising that he's been banned from spokesperson duties:

It always amuses me when people call the Lion-Turtle's appearance "convenient" or something similar.

Yep, it sure is convenient that an omnipotent, all-knowing being would appear to the One Who Is the Mystical Bridge right before he faces his Ultimate Test in the Final Days of the World. Sure is neat that the most ancient and colossal creature on the planet would choose to summon the boy who will stand in the path of the man about to burn the forests*. As ships of steel and smoke drift into the sky so they may rain fire in the blazing wake of a centennial calamity, it's impossible to comprehend why the Last Guardian of Nature Itself would choose to approach the battlefield.

Truly, questioning this plausibility of this chapter proves that you have progressed beyond childish acceptance of cartoon fairytales, and are now capable of seeing where the author's hand provided unearned aid. That's literary comprehension.

Daylight is all blue toned because of the colour of the sky, then the sky on Gallifrey is red, meaning it'd have a much warmer hue.

I wonder if there was an adjustment period to it when the Doctor first came to Earth.

Or if Time Lords have a better perception of red because in Gallifrey it's everywhere.

I wonder if, after the war, the Doctor watches the Earth's blue sky, knowing he'll only ever catch glimpses of it again in the sunset

I wonder if he avoids planets with a red sky

💛 What is the most impactful lesson you’ve learned about writing?

hmm.. to take a break when you need to, but also to keep writing if you're like, really focused/have the chance to be zoned in. i think i write most efficiently when i'm on planes and for as little as i go on them i wish that were a joke

🚦What sort of endings do you prefer to write: ambiguous, bad, happily ever after, etc.?

honestly depends on the fic!! but i like hopeful endings a lot + endings that leave you with one or two questions to chew on :)

🎨 If someone were to make fanart of your work, what fic or scene would you hope to see?

OHH gosh i'd be delighted just to see any fanart

i think one of the ones i'd want the most isn't from a fic i've published yet, but it'd be the first scene of burn the skies where hirotsu is looking down at lab creature!15skk

i think if i started rambling about misc scenes i'd want to see illustrated we'd be here forever though lol
