Court Jester Core 🏰 my pinterest board
• maybe this is a little niche but with the medieval revival on the rise for 2025 im begging everyone to start dressing like jesters and clowns or in harlequin print it would literally mean so much to me, personally •

new 2025 fashion prediction!
is february to late to be making fashion predictions for this year? maybe! but who cares! recently i have seen bangle bracelets trending- and i am in LOVE! from 70s/80s funky and chunky, 2020s simple gold and silver stacks, i think it’s time to bring the medieval revival to jewelry!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
vintage, big, eclectic, bejeweled, unique pieces stacked high up on the arms with mixed metals and styles all mushed together to create a truly medieval royal look!
along with bangles i see arm cuffs being a huge thing this summer, but more “medieval” than boho like the a la the 2010s! i think Ancient Greece will also be a huge historical pulling point for fashion this coming spring/summer, i personally cannot wait to see how that translates!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
i keep using the words “funky” and “eclectic” to describe this new medieval revival as i see so much inspiration being pulled from all over- different eras of history, fantasy, styles, etc but it’s all under the same “medieval” aesthetic! i see wood tones being a huge trend in accessories this year too!

want to dress like a medieval princess but don’t want to look like you’re going to the ren faire everyday? here’s some ~subtle~ style tips you can infuse into your wardrobe to bring that medieval vibe!
reminder this is for a general *vibe* it will not be 100% historically accurate!
• okay first up! hair! my personal favorite! •
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
try some fun braided updos, long hair on women was valued during this time and was often kept braided away! uncovered if you’re a young maiden, while older or married women often covered their hair with veils or hennins or hair nets called “snoods” (sometimes today they are also called “Juliet caps”). for shorter hair princesses i highly recommend leaning into the fun head coverings of the time or some simple bejeweled hair clips will do the trick too!
• next is accessories! •
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
chainmail and armor are some of my personal favorite things to incorporate for a more “medieval” look! these pieces add a bit of edge to a usually very feminine look! bags, head pieces, gloves, belts, and so much more can be found or even made! try etsy or lookup chainmail tutorials to find/make pieces you’ll love! i also recommend colorful or patterned tights! contrasting colored tights could be a great way to subtly nod at the color blocking trend that was popular during the medieval era! drop belts!!
• jewels! •

my best advice for this category is a very eclectic, colorful look! think a pirates treasure chest! you’ll see lots of jewels: different metals and styles and colors, if it looks like you’d find it stuck in the ground around a mysterious ruined castle i say throw that sucker on!

little secret fun fact about me? i LOVE juicy couture! i came across this y2k inspired track suit set at tjmaxx and had to be practically dragged out of the store without it! i decided to leave it behind because i was trying not to over spend and i wasn’t 100% sold on the color- although the purple is very pretty and one of my favorite colors it clashes horribly with my paleness 🤦🏻‍♀️ hopefully i’ll come across another, i’ve seen a few before and always leave them behind for one reason or another but one day i WILL find my perfect juicy tracksuit!!

2025 Valentine’s day fashion trend inspo/predictions! ❤️
I truly believe the one and only, Sabrina Carpenter, will be a huge point of inspiration this year! Her short and sweet tour, which is set to continue its world wide half soon, is the perfect Valentine’s day look book! With that being said-
my first prediction:
HEART. CUT. OUTS.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Probably the MOST inspired by SC, heart shaped cut outs and motifs are almost mandatory for the day of love!
on a follow up note:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
kiss marks! much like the heart shaped cut outs, these kiss marks are undeniably SC coded! perfect for valentine’s day!!
Colored tights!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Something deep in my soul says that color tights are going to a have a huge moment this year, especially on Valentine’s day! Tights had a *moment* last year but hopefully this year we have a full on colored tights craze!!
Babydoll dresses and lingerie chic!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Must I say it again? very SC coded!! a mix of sweet and sexy, babydoll/60s inspired lingerie dresses are already on the rise and i’m so excited to see all the frilly lace!

okay, stay with me now. here is where we’ll have to use our imagination. and some sewing skills. it is hard to find premade clothes that give off that medieval look, especially without spending an arm and leg or going to far into costume territory! thrifting vintage pieces from the og 60s/70s medieval revival, or even genne sax dresses, and if you’re lucky enough to find some affordable they aren’t every size inclusive. my advice is to find similar pieces you can alter and/or layer with other pieces. find dresses or tops with the above silhouettes and search for vintage patterns. i’ve found even costume patterns can work too with some adjustments!
• shoes! •
Tumblr media Tumblr media
hear me out…..little peasant shoes!! they are so cute, fit the vibe, and surprisingly comfortable! however if that’s not your thing i highly recommend some funky boots! although i suppose some simple mary janes can never you astray!
some other advice: ironically enough the ren faire is great place to find pieces you can definitely use everyday, also etsy, second hand shops, and handmade/small business are great places to find unique pieces! key words i use to find things are medieval, whimsy (goth), renaissance faire, 60s mini dress, fairy. 🏰⚜️🫶🏻
