Man I was watching the Super Bunny Man collab between Ruze and Jurard on the train home and I could not contain my laughter that entire hour was absolute gold. It's official now, though it was obvious before, Ruze is totally the true Gamer who can and will hard carry you while being a tsun about it. He will also do a little trolling to emphasize your failures tho and I love him for that ❤️ that man can game. Like he gets gaming physics and logic so well. Makes it all the more funny that he has to help Jurard, the banchou hime of the group, who is not beating his boyfailure allegations at all.

Remade a Shortaki comic from earlier this year! The set-up is that Arnold got into a fight, and he and Helga waited for Gerald to get some help.

I don't make comics very often and I have very limited knowledge of screentones and effects, but this was very fun to draw! And Shortaki fluff always makes me soft~ ﾟ.+(〃ﾉωﾉ)ﾟ.+°

Some fan reincarnation yokai cause i wanted to do some edits, whee! They were really fun!

First up is Kanahi-hime, an S rank yokai of the tough tribe. (A reincarnation of Fubuki hime) She's a fiery and adventurous princess who hails from a volcanic region. Although she's still young, she's mastered her fire powers and loves to use them to help her friends. Her favourite past time is having BBQs on the beach with her friends.

Hebitaro, an S rank yokai of the slippery tribe. (A reincarnation of Orochi) A gorgon yokai, he's lonely since if he looks anyone in the eye, he turns them to stone. Despite this, he has a few friends like Faysoff and Twirly Pie. Because of his powers he often keeps himself hidden away in caves or underground.

Hidoku Banchou Honebijin, a B rank yokai of the brave tribe. (A reincarnation of Honebijin) A rebellious young girl who's taken to the delinquent life. Instead of focusing on fashion, she focuses on training her strength to take part in gang wars. Despite this, she does have a delicate side and takes 2 hours to curl her hair every morning. If you mess it up, you're dead.

Dark Choc Chip, an S rank yokai of the eerie tribe. (A reincarnation of Bunny Mint) One of the most nefarious villains in the yokai world known for jewellery thefts. She has an eye for sparkly things and especially ice cream - its her one weakness. Despite her stature, she has the strength of an ox. She owns a magnificent jewellery collection and no one has caught her yet!

Nikko-chan, an S rank yokai of the heartful tribe. (A reincarnation of Hyakki-hime) A peppy young girl taken in by a family of oni. She spreads joy and sunshine everywhere she goes and everybody loves her. Her dream is to be an idol and with her popularity already, she's bound to have many fans.

Shadow Prince Yagyo, an S rank yokai of the eerie tribe. (A reincarnation of Yagyo) The beautiful prince of an alternate world. The leader of the oni tribe, he is strong and dashing. His healing clouds aid all those who visit his castle and they saved his life after near decapitation.

Flaming Knight Shutendoji, an S rank yokai of the brave tribe. (A reincarnation of Shutendoji) Prince Yagyo’s loyal knight and the strongest oni in the yokai world. He’s popular with many oni because of his good looks and muscles but of course, he only has eyes for his prince.

Sanbi (can’t tell if that name is totally dumb or not lol), an S rank yokai of the eerie tribe. (A reincarnation of Kyubi) A Cerberus that protects the gates to the underworld. He stumbled across Hebitaro while he was exploring the deep caverns and they became friends. Sanbi came up with the idea of Hebitaro covering his eyes so that he can’t turn anyone to stone.

Nurse Zero, an A rank yokai of the heartful tribe. (A reincarnation of Zero Hakase) Tired of working full time as a doctor, Zero Hakase has become a nurse and is looking to help those in need across the yokai world. After reading the whole Lil Angel book series, he’s sure he’s ready to learn how to become a restoration yokai.

Some of these anime aren’t even that good. I just had such low expectations that they surpassed them. Some of these anime are genuinely good though.

D-Frag! 

This anime sounded like some stupid harem at first. You have big tits, the loli, the sadist, and what the heck was the last one? This series was oddly charming and funny at times. I wouldn’t recommend it to everyone.

Seishun Buta Yarou wa Bunny Girl Senpai no Yume wo Minai

I watched the first season of the Monogatari series, and this series has the Monogatari series beat. It’s far less morally questionable, it isn’t as up in your face, and it’s a pleasant series to watch. I genuinely liked all these characters and the way they were developed, and to think we were all drawn in because of a bunny girl (I was drawn in because I heard stuff about it actually having a plot).

Looked like a stupid fantasy cliche and ended up being really funny

Dame x Prince Anime Caravan

I was expecting this to be a really stupid reverse harem. I’ve watched a fair share of reverse harems based off otome games (I was scouting out anime for a friend), and I ended up coming across this. It was oddly really funny, and they know that none of these characters are ideal. They aren’t meant to be. They’re so flawed, and it knows it’s bad.

Zankyou no Terror

Everyone was saying how bad this was. It was actually pretty good. It’s because you all have high expectations. This was a solid anime. It was a little cliche. I will admit that.

Yamada-kun to 7-nin no Majo

Harems are usually stupid and don’t know how to get the point across well, but this one doesn’t play the same games as say Nisekoi. It has a compelling mystery that I was actually invested in. Sometimes it was a little cringe, but it was overall a pretty good anime.

Kenka Banchou Otome: Girl Beats Boys

Another anime based off an otome game! This time, it was good because it didn’t focus on the otome game elements. It wasn’t a great anime, but I still enjoyed it.

Zombieland Saga

I watched this because I heard the premise and was like, “They didn’t. That sounds so weird and out there!” I watched it and was absolutely blown away. It was actually really good. I would call it one of my favourites of 2018.

Kyoukai no Rinne

I was expecting Inuyasha and got an Inuyasha parody instead. The rating was so low because people didn’t expect it to be so parody-like and episodic. It was the same thing over and over again. I don’t think it was bad though.

Koutetsujou no Kabaneri

Everyone said it was an Attack on Titan ripoff. It wasn’t. For one, there weren’t any WWII references. Two, it was just not the same… at all. It shares a lot of the core staff like the studio and the score composer. I’ll admit that much. It was a very entertaining anime that I found to be well done.

Kiznaiver

This one is criticized for being melodramatic. I found it entertaining, and anime is melodramatic. That’s pretty consistent. Plus, I liked the animation (done by Studio Trigger)

Kimi to Boku.

I usually don’t like slice-of-life anime. This is an exception.

Kaguya-sama wa Kokurasetai

I wasn’t expecting this anime to be so funny and so darn relatable (thanks Ishigami). I was really going to skip it, and that would’ve been a huge mistake. It was a great anime. Kudos to Aoi Koga getting one of her first breakout roles.

Inobato

Another case of “you came in for this but didn’t get that”. This anime presents supernatural fights but ends up being a show about kids fooling around. It wasn’t that bad though.

Hinamatsuri

I wasn’t expecting to laugh that hard. It was absolutely hilarious at times. It’s like Mob Psycho 100 but in its completely own form. I highly recommend it. I just thought it was going to be a stupid skippable anime.

Honobono Log

The entire anime is like 30 minutes. It takes little to no commitment. You don’t even need to know the character’s names because there are none. It’s just a bunch of fluffy scenarios that guilt you for being the single dumbnut that you are.

Grand Blue

This anime is very questionable, but I laughed at some of the jokes in this anime. I had an online friend who watched this too, and by the end, we both agreed that we didn’t want the laughs to end. The faces alone are funny.

Hakata Tonkotsu Ramens

This anime lacks in female characters, and it was kind of stupid at times, but I found it to be a somewhat pleasant anime to watch. 

Hataraku Saibou

Never did I ever think that an anime about cells in the human body could be so interesting and engaging. The relationship between the red and the white blood cell was so sweet.

20. least favourite anime ships

There are a lot of popular ships I don’t like. I don’t like Shin Soukoku or Chitoge x Raku (Onodera is the best girl and we all know it). I don’t even hate the ships listed. I just don’t see the point. But keep in mind that I won’t be listing ships that are illegal (incest, 

Bakudeku (Midoriya x Bakugou) from My Hero Academia

Their relationship has not developed enough to really have me sold on it.

Sakura x Sasuke from Naruto

Where… where did this come from? They tried to fix it in Boruto, and I like Sarada, but this pairing just… huh?! They did this because they wanted an Uchiha child.

Ritsu x Masamune from Sekaiichi Hatsukoi

There’s this thing called consent. It seems that Masamune has never heard of it. Shame.

Anime I’ve Watched

Okay, here’s this massive post!

My roomie/best friend, Amanda, has gotten me into watching new anime as it comes out every season. We’ve been doing this since college, either 8 or 9 years ago, and it’s accumulated in a crapton of shows that we’ve watched. Obviously I’ve liked some more than others, and I can’t remember every single show I’ve watched, and with so many to list, it’s hard to think of shows I’ve seen when people ask me.

So I’m going to use this as a way to track all the shows I’ve watched!

I’m going to list shows that I’ve seen more than just a few episodes of. There are a ton of shows I’ve started watching, but then quit. Those aren’t going to count here.

Also, I’m going to use the titles I’m used to, so there will likely be a lot of Japanese titles of shows that I’ve noticed are more popular with the English title. I honestly don’t know the English title of some of them. XD;; It’s just how I’ve watched them. I will add akas where there is more than one version of the title.

I’ve watched all of these in Japanese, unless I specify that I watched it in English. The first few shows I watched in my life were in English, and so I tend to only watch those in English even now, but now I’m a Japanese snob and refuse to watch dubs. XD

Well, that I’ve watched more than like 5 episodes of. There’s a ton more shows that I’ve only watched like 1-5 episodes of, haha. I don’t need to make a list of that...

Bunny’s Favorite Shoujo Manga

Shoujo manga are some of the best when you just want fluffy romance and bad communication. Some are really good, some are really bad. It can be difficult to pick out a good one just from a brief summary (I’ve read some really baaaaad ones, believe me). I’ve listed a few of my favorites (in no particular order). All of these are school life, shoujo, romance, comedy manga.

1. Namaikizakari Namaikizakari is an ongoing shoujo that revolves around a school basketball manager and one of the players. Yuki Machida, the manager, is a girl with a hard look who is bad at expressing her feelings, even though she cares about her team. Shou Naruse, the player, is younger but one of the best on his team and has that usual standoffish feel that’s common to shoujo manga. It starts with Yuki liking someone else before (not in a love triangle way) slowly realizing that she loves Naruse and they end up dating. Right now in the series, it’s mostly Yuki trying to figure out how to be in a relationship and Naruse being the affectionate one. It’s fucking adorable. I’m a sucker for these types of characters so that might be the reason I love it so much, but it’s pretty dang good. The innocence and the awkwardness on both sides is cute without being frustrating. Plus, the height difference between them is also wonderful. The art is also super clean, which is something I’m really picky about. Of course, all the guys do look 10 feet tall since it’s a basketball manga, but I’ll let that slide. This one is worth catching up on, even if you do have to wait for the next chapters still.

2. Ao Haru Ride Ao Haru Ride is a completed manga. This one I don’t remember quite as well but I remember thinking how good it was when I first read it. Although the story does have the hated love triangles, they aren’t carried on in a way that makes you want to scream at all the characters. The story is about Futaba Yoshioka, a girl who was hated by other girls in middle school because the boys loved it so much (this sounds so weird written out). Because of this, she decides to be as uncute as possible in high school. The guy in the story is Kou Mabuchi who changed his name after losing his mother. In middle school, he was nice and friendly but in high school became rather harsh and rude. This is your typical unrequited childhood love story with the sweet moments you want. The art style might not be as sleek as some but it is definitely able to convey the emotions of all the characters. There’s an anime of this that I have not watched but I’m sure is good.

3. Special A Special A has my favorite type of plot. The main character, Hikari Hanazono, has declared Kei Takishima to be her rival since they were six. In everything they do, she wants to be number one. But Kei is always a little ahead of her. And Kei is also in love with her. Hikari is the type that shows her emotions easily, especially when she is flustered and annoyed. Kei is the stoic type, unless Hikari is in trouble. The story follows Hikari’s attempts to best Kei while he makes her fall in love with him. The oblivious main character is one of my favorite types of tropes and I love it here. It’s cute to watch her realize her own feelings and watch them transition into being in a relationship. This manga does have the subplot of Kei being from a wealthy family who don’t approve of Hikari and all the drama that goes with it. I love the heroines in manga that don’t take shit from people and don’t want to be rescued. It sometimes feels like a rare find in a shoujo manga and I’m glad to have it here. I’ve watched the anime adaptation of this is manga and highly recommend. I sobbed my eyes out during the last episode (in a good way, I swear).

4. Last Game Last Game has a similar plot to Special A (notice a trend). However, Last Game focuses on the boy, Naoto Yanagi, and his rival, Mikoto Kujou. Yanagi was top of the class in everything until Kujou came along. He declares her his rival and decides that he will win the “Last Game”. He wants to make her fall in love with him and then break up with her (of course, in the end, he actually falls in love with her and happily ever after). In this case, Yanagi is the one that quickly expresses his emotions while Kujou is the the practical and quiet one. She is oblivious to Yanagi’s attempts to seduce her. It kind of makes you feel bad for Yanagi throughout most of the series since you can see how much he loves her, poor guy. One of the best things about this manga is the fact that it does utilize time. It starts when the two meet in elementary and goes up to their second year in college. This makes the creation of a relationship more realistic than usual. And it is refreshing to see the characters acting a little more mature than in the normal high school shoujo manga. Also the ending for this one is adorable (aren’t they always?).

5. LDK LDK is another ongoing shoujo manga. Like a lot of the manga I read, this one starts out with the two main characters hating each other. Aoi Nishimori hates the prince of the high school, Shuusei Kugayama, since he turned down the confession from her best friend. After a kitchen fire, the two end up living with each other after learning they are neighbors. Hate turns to love, of course. This is probably the manga on this list with the most subplots. You have the plot of Aoi’s best friend learning their together (thankfully she’s nice about it), the new neighbor who moves in and tries to steal Aoi from Shuusei, the father that dislikes the fact that his daughter lives with her boyfriend… Just to name a few. There’s a lot going on here. I do like the fact that this manga acknowledges that the couple want to have sex and the challenges involved since many stories just sort of play it off. It’s still very cute and romantic though. Also the lead guy is my favorite type so I’m probably a little biased here. This one does take a little while to update (it’s at 50 chapters already) so if you’re into it, be prepared to wait.

Kaichou wa Maid-Sama

I love Maid-Sama up until it gets weird (if you’ve read it, you know). Basically read to Chapter 34 for the fluff and then it’s cool to stop. Also Usui is my most problematic fav. I love him but dang, he’s a creep.

Ah! Itoshi no Banchou-sama (Dear School Gang Leader)

Dear School Gang Leader is wonderful. The problem with it is I’m sure it’s never going to end. I think it has updated once in like 4 years. It’s worth reading but you’re gonna be disappointed in the lack of a conclusion. I am Here

I am Here is probably the cutest manga I’ve ever read in my life. It’s so cute my teeth hurt from it. It does sadly have that love-triangle trope I hate so much but it’s got enough romance for a lifetime. It’s pretty short so if you have some down time, I do recommend it. If you’re into shoujo manga, you should check some of these out. Some of em might strike your fancy. If you’re not, I promise I’ll do a non-shoujo list someday.
